currently on DraftKings going into this game later on tonight
with the Cincinnati Bengals, it's a rap if Cincinnati loses
this game, if they.

Love really like you're already thrown in the talent.

This whole thing, because Lamar Jackson is the only thing
that makes that division interesting, that race. Joe Burrow is
not going to be back in time. It's going to
be another two months. The Browns are awful, and Pittsburgh
feels like they're finding a groove.

Can we talk about Pittsburgh for a second though?

Yeah, Oh well no, I just I mean, I think
we were all acknowledge they're the top of the AFC North,
They're in position to win the division, which would you know,
warrant them a home playoff spot.

There's no doubt Rogers has given them a lift offensively.

The question becomes, you know this, this Steelers team has
been a playoff team, been a winning team before.

It's more about like, can they make a run.

Do you feel like with what we've seen so far
from the Pittsburgh Steelers that once they get into the
playoffs they can do more than just be a one
and done, Like they can actually make a run and
win some games.

Feel like Rogers has given that lift on offense? Because
because that's ultimately what it's about. Like as much as
we want to say that, you know they went after
Rogers because you know, maybe there's a thought that with

Mike Vrable the Titans, it got to a point where
they're just like, ah, maybe it's just time for someone new.

And I don't know if the Steelers feel that way
or not about Mike Tomlin.

I think if they do, to me, that's idiotic because
he's one of the best coaches in the NFL, you know,
maybe an NFL history. But you do get the sense
there's some sort of pressure of like, where's this thing going?

It has been a build up to that, But I
feel as though the way they're playing right now is
probably quieted that that type of tone. I think it's
quieted that is quieted down quite a bit bit, actually,
and I think it's morphing into excitement and and look, listen,

have been living outside of Pittsburgh for quite some time,
so my my feelings as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan are
are removed when I was there.

Well, that's why you were a big fan of this year, right, Well,
I'm not a big expectations.

I didn't have big expectations. I still I still in
my heart, like kind of to your your question, in
my heart, I'm not sure what type of a team
this really is. I mean, they they you know that
it's a quality win against what the Vikings. I mean,

do they have any other quality wins on their on
their resume.

I don't know if there's a lot of teams in
the NFL that do have quality wins at this point.

I know the Seattle Seahawks continue you to surprise people
in terms of maybe how good they are. They beat
the Steelers, so that could have been two quality wins
for them. They don't have like a great resume of
teams like the Patriots. If they played the Patriots today

versus the Patriots they played in Week three, is it
a different game.

What I would say is the first couple of weeks
of the year, the defense for Pittsburgh did not look great.
It just like that was the part that I was
more surprised at that, well, this doesn't appear to And
since then, they've kind of found a groove and they're
getting after the quarterback and it feels more like the
Pittsburgh Steeler defense were used to. And I just think

they're ramping up. Man, Like, I don't know.

When you say the Pittsburgh Steelers defense you're used to.
What the fact that they were able to stop the
Browns dominant dominant that they were able to stop the

who they've played. And if you go back to the
Seattle who was it Caleb Johnson who just let the
ball go by him that resulted in a touchdown for Seattle,
like on the kickoff, he just forgot the rules. And
then you know that one win side was that was
probably a game they should have won. I'd look at
them and I go Rogers, And this was always the conversation.

They were a playoff team last year, but it was
could you get enough production from the passing game to
look at them as a legitimate candidate to win a
game or two or more in the playoffs?

And I think you can now. I think they.

Will know that once they play a team like Green Bay,
once they get to a red hot Colts team. They
have green Bay, the Colts, and the Chargers in consecutive weeks.
To me, that's when you're going to find out to
answer the question can they make a run in the playoffs?

See them in a three game stretch where it's three
real teams that they're playing against, we're going to find
out a lot about the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. That's
what I believe. I don't believe we find out who

without Joe Burrow. So while I have positive thoughts about

what what Flacco can do for them, I still don't
believe that's gonna be enough. I don't think that's going
to be enough. I think this is a I think
it could be close.

By the way, like this is if you're the Bengals,
this is kind of why you're sin of saying like, yeah,
we're concerned about getting a long term deal, Like there's
a reason why we just kind of agree to, you know,
one year, pay him, you know a bit more, you know,
pay him a premium for this year. But he's at

that age. The production has been phenomenal. We just don't
know if it's going to continue. And then for a
big divisional game like this, there you go. I mean,
that's the unfortunate reality. And I hate even talking about
it because I you know I'm a former player, but
when you think about from the owner's standpoint, like this
is your greatest fear. And it's not that you know,

it's not that bad of an injury or anything, but
it could be and he could miss significant time. If
there's a hip injury, that gets worse. So after all
the talk and everything this offseason, and this is where
they've kind of wound up. This is the concern you
have as a franchise where you sign a guy to
that in these missing games, especially divisional games that are

obviously meaningful for you to have any sort of chance
of making the playoffs.

Do you take that stance against Joe Burrow because he's
been hurt. Yeah, he's been hurt a lot. I think
at some point you would, you would get there. But
it's a little different only because he's the quarterback. He's
the guy who's taking you to a super Bowl already.
You know, I think Burrow might might turn around it.

It might be like what he takes against Cincinnati if
he's if he's not able to stay healthy because they
can't protect him and you know he's getting hit left.
You know, all those things that might mount, you know,
add up to the point where he says, maybe I
should look elsewhere. If you guys are gonna protect me
or build an offense line, it out around me.

So this, according to NBC Sports, that these Steelers have
put together a string of four straight games with five
or more sacks in team history, or they've done it
for the last three games.

Yeah, Oh well no, I just I mean, I think
we were all acknowledge they're the top of the AFC North,
They're in position to win the division, which would you know,
warrant them a home playoff spot.

There's no doubt Rogers has given them a lift offensively.

The question becomes, you know this, this Steelers team has
been a playoff team, been a winning team before.

It's more about like, can they make a run.

Do you feel like with what we've seen so far
from the Pittsburgh Steelers that once they get into the
playoffs they can do more than just be a one
and done, Like they can actually make a run and
win some games.

Feel like Rogers has given that lift on offense? Because
because that's ultimately what it's about. Like as much as
we want to say that, you know they went after
Rogers because you know, maybe there's a thought that with

they're just like, ah, maybe it's just time for someone new.

And I don't know if the Steelers feel that way
or not about Mike Tomlin.

I think if they do, to me, that's idiotic because
he's one of the best coaches in the NFL, you know,
maybe an NFL history. But you do get the sense
there's some sort of pressure of like, where's this thing going?

It has been a build up to that, But I
feel as though the way they're playing right now is
probably quieted that that type of tone. I think it's
quieted that is quieted down quite a bit bit, actually,
and I think it's morphing into excitement and and look, listen,

have been living outside of Pittsburgh for quite some time,
so my my feelings as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan are
are removed when I was there.

Well, that's why you were a big fan of this year, right, Well,
I'm not a big expectations.

I didn't have big expectations. I still I still in
my heart, like kind of to your your question, in
my heart, I'm not sure what type of a team
this really is. I mean, they they you know that
it's a quality win against what the Vikings. I mean,

do they have any other quality wins on their on
their resume.

I don't know if there's a lot of teams in
the NFL that do have quality wins at this point.

I know the Seattle Seahawks continue you to surprise people
in terms of maybe how good they are. They beat
the Steelers, so that could have been two quality wins
for them. They don't have like a great resume of
teams like the Patriots. If they played the Patriots today

versus the Patriots they played in Week three, is it
a different game.

What I would say is the first couple of weeks
of the year, the defense for Pittsburgh did not look great.
It just like that was the part that I was
more surprised at that, well, this doesn't appear to And
since then, they've kind of found a groove and they're
getting after the quarterback and it feels more like the
Pittsburgh Steeler defense were used to. And I just think

they're ramping up. Man, Like, I don't know.

When you say the Pittsburgh Steelers defense you're used to.
What the fact that they were able to stop the
Browns dominant dominant that they were able to stop the

But that's the thing, Like this is all based on
who they've played. And if you go back to the
Seattle who was it Caleb Johnson who just let the
ball go by him that resulted in a touchdown for Seattle,
like on the kickoff, he just forgot the rules. And
then you know that one win side was that was
probably a game they should have won. I'd look at
