I just cut on to your ball breaking. But it's
all good. What do you mean I got you, Doug?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
What do you mean?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
What happened? Nothing? Nothing, that'd be ten dollars, that's all.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
What do you mean? What did I say?

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Nothing? Nothing? Nothing? I know.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
I think you might have read that wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
No, I read, I read real well.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
No.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah, I was a school teacher. I got you. I
got you reading rain. That's right. That's why my mama
named me that go figure. I can read. If there's
one thing I can do, I can read. I can
read anything.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
That that song stinks too.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
You stink for something. There's a certain lines you don't cross,
and that's one of them, my friend.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
So how we feel it about the NBA playoffs and
those those fighting New York Knicks after last night, the
Denver Nuggets star fighting the Denver Nuggets, who people were
shoveling dirt on not a week ago.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
They came up grave diggers because they came up out
of that grave and they they didn't put the Timberwolves
in it.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
M Yokic is so good man, I mean, he didn't.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
They've adjusted. It's like you got to be able to
do it when they adjust.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
He's running point man.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
You don't you know, for I don't even know where
to begin with what I want to say, because it
frustrates me that there is almost backlash the fact that he's.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Won what three of the last four MVPs.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
Yeah, and yet you look at all the different things
he can do, whether it's the outside shooting, uh, bringing
the ball, distributing the basketball, running the offense, essentially, you know,
working down to the post, taking the ball.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
To the rim.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
He can do everything like that guy has a problem
no matter whatever he plays in as big as he
is and as skilled as he is, and just has
a feel for the game of basketball. And then when
you watch him, you realize all he really wants to
do is go and see his horses. Like he has

(03:25):
no desire to play basketball.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
It's like it is the.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
Gift that he's got and it's a burden for him.
You know, he's just unfortunately stuck to be this amazing
basketball player when all he wants to do is go
see his horses.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I wonder if he walks away early because of that.
The horses, Well, just like I'm out, you know, I've
done everything I want to do.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
He doesn't seem like that type. I mean, he enjoys.
He enjoys the game. You know, he's one of those
unassuming type dudes that he enjoys playing the game. And
I think his family enjoys seeing him play the game.
I think it brings him joy. And I don't think
that he's I don't feel like he depends on it.
He's not dependent upon the game. So if he decides

(04:11):
he wants to walk, he'll walk. But I think he's
he's just one of those guys. He's I don't know, man's.
It could be the European vibe because Dirk. Dirk was
a lot like, you know, just kind of cool, collected.
You know, it just seems like a lot of guys
that come from from overseas they have, especially when they

(04:31):
come from you know, Europe, and they had they just
kind of have a cooler vibe about him. And I
don't know, I don't know why.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
It Isrses were racing horses.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Like does he love racing them or does he just
love watching them race?

Speaker 5 (04:46):
He is saying it fulfills his passion like northern sport can.
Like that is a direct quote. Does he get on
the horse and race it?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Though?

Speaker 6 (04:55):
I think he's got some He's got some horses back
in his whole country.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Touch wasn't they That's why I was thinking he'd be running.
It'd be a six six six legged horse.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
What is wrong?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Well, I mean like manw Bull would never sit on
a bar stool, you know, Like it just doesn't make
any sense, Like it's uncomfortable. It's uncomfortable to see Yoka
a horse.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
I'm just saying, I mean, can you imagine them dudes
in cars? Like I always ask myself for the price
of being what those guys are, would you want to
be that tall? Would you want to be seven foot
seven three seven four? Would you want to be that tall?
It's uncomfortable, it's got to be uncomfortable. Like the only
time you're comfortable is if you're in something that's customized

(05:35):
for your height. Otherwise, everything you're thinking about from airplanes,
even if it's a private jet, airplanes, to showers to
just walking in a regular home, like you're you're you're
always bent over right.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
Yeah, So he doesn't ride on the horse. He rides
like the little carriage.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
The carriage dip Okay, yeah, yeah, carriage did a little
carriage dip?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Carriage dip?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
What what does a carriage dip?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
The little carriage?

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Did your foot?

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Right? Now, I've got it.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
I figured Lee would already have this, But he seems
to be slowing the on the gun this morning.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Does does he bet on horses or like it'd be
great he's.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Got race horses, like he is deep into this, like
a full.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
His legs will be on the ground on that too,
though he probably.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Got a full fledged degenerate gambler. Would be would be
how I'd like the story to end, Like, what's he
up to? Oh? Okay, this is sweet?

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Yeah, I mean it's a like his legs is going
to be on the ground.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yeah, he's got to really work to keep his legs
up off the ground.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
I mean, all three of them.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I'll get blamed for that, but you you took us
down that path. I did not.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
How much of Michael Connley being now do you guys
think is playing a part in them not having Okay,
he's got like a he's got like a bag or
something that he's Yeah, the little dip on the on, Yeah,
where he can just a dip like you little foot dip.
You know what I mean? Little foot dip.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
By the way, is that the first I've never seen
him smile before. He really loves this stuff, like right.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Him selling You guys think I'm joking. I watch a
man go out there who's a master at just behind
the game of basketball, and yet it feels like it's
a burden for him.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
You got to post it, Lee so everybody can see
it because we are dual Radio.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
That chin strap dip, he does.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Have the chin strap going. Hey listen, the dude is
a killer man, he is.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
I just don't know how anyone could question him being
in the m v P. Like Fritt Shack and everyone
else who said that, It's like, what are you watching?
Like you do you really believe that? Is it some
sort of like, I mean, it seemed like it was
more tied up into why he didn't win MVP, like
some of those emotions. But I just watched him, like, man,
it's he He's the.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Best player in the NBA.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
And I know we taught we were hyping up Anthony Edwards,
you know, for the first two games the series, and
he's a tremendous player, but he's nowhere close to where Yokic.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Is right now.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
By the way, is the Shack questioned the Jokic letting
him know he voted s G a MVP. Is that
what led to the beef between him and Shannon Sharp?
Between Shack and Shannon Sharp where they went back and forth.
I don't know if you guys had seen that, but.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
No, I've seen it, and he kind of, what's what's
up getting on Shannon Sharp? I don't know. Well, Shannon
Sharp goes forward to smoke, he calls for it.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
And by the way, Shannon, he went perk.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
The other day too, Like perk, you out your mind?
You think thirty five five guys, I could go to
the football field right now. He's like, Yeah, ain't wired
that way. I just ain't built that way. Shannon just
don't he he he He's okay with detonating. You know,
he's a detonator. That's he's good at it. You know,
he's good at it. So you got to deal with
a little bit of a little bit of blowback when

(09:05):
when you're okay with hitting that debtonate.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
But he's getting a lot of blowback, man.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
I mean, just still looking at Antonio Brown's X page
and the stuff he's putting out there.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Is he going to have the surf too?

Speaker 5 (09:18):
Yes, Like it's weird. I'm like, why do all these
people have issues with Shannon Sharp? I don't get it.
I don't have time follow that.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
You know, Yeah, Shanna Sharp is like harder on black
athletes or something like that. I think Antonio Brown was saying.
I don't know. I just think that he's so relevant
because he's almost got like the most viewed interview on
YouTube ever with Cat Williams. I just think that Cat's
you know, they don't like that dip, you know what
I mean, don't they don't really, they don't really fool

(09:45):
with that sometimes. I don't know, man, Cat dip, Cat Nip,
Cat dip. It was that dip that he delivered. You know,
he was putting everybody out there on Front Street, and
a lot of people got uncomfortable in the next thing,
you know, here come the ditty stuff, and then boom,
boom boom the next thing, you know, after the ditty stuff,

(10:07):
Oh man, right, and he ain't been arrested, like I
could see if they arrested him, you know, like or
if you to warrant like nothing happened. I don't know.
But then you get wrapped beef coming Like it's like
Shannon Sharp set up, like he set off a bomb,
a dip that just took everybody down this deep, deep

(10:27):
ass whole. And I mean a deep hole. You know.
Now everybody beefing. You know, you got Kendrick and Drake beefing.
Like everybody's beefing, you know after after Kat Williams, you know,
went went in on on that Shannon Sharp interview, and it.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Feels like it all, you know, kind of centers around.
You know that Joki.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Stip Baunce there. He is way to bring a full circle.
I really do think Michael Conley has a like I
think there's a major part them. I think it stole
the balance that they had on offense, and that's why
I believe ant Man is not operating at the level
he's operating at Towns. He hurt his leg again last night.

(11:11):
They just didn't look like they were in sync, you know,
like they had been in the two games that they
were able to win. And I think that's you know,
for me last night, just watching the game last night,
I just think they were out of balance, out of sorts,
and and and the Denver Nuggets are you know, they're
they're they're taking advantage. You know, they're playing physical ball,

(11:33):
they're playing aggressive ball, like you said, you know, the
joker is handling the ball, he's kind of keeping the balance.
It's allowing for the other guys to get spacing onto
the court, you know, and and they're they're making they're
making you know, they're making it work. So the point
guard is serious, man, because that's what you're seeing in
the next that that next game. Brunson he just he

(11:55):
just he's a facilitator. He's a he's a scorer, he's
he's just he's super well rounded player. And you're seeing
when you have that balance, you know, at that that
point guard's position. That's why I think the Cleveland I
don't think. I mean I don't know how how long,
but he's going to be out. Why am I blanking
on his name right now?

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Mitchell?

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Mitchell? Is he coming back? I believe so, But I
thought I saw that he was coming back. If he
comes back, I don't think that the series is over yet,
and I think it's because it's being driven by guys
that have the skill set that he has. You know,
that unique skill set where you can go inside, you
can go outside, you can mid range. That's what Joker

(12:38):
did last night. He was mid range and he was
going to the hoop. Uh he was you know, he
was getting them from the outside, and it just creates space.
You know, when you're able to create space at that level,
you know, those guys are going to shoot. They're going
to shoot the ball, and and if they're making it,
you know, then then now it's going to open up
slash lanes to the whole.

Speaker 6 (12:58):
Did Conley play the price two games?

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Yeah? Yeah he did.

Speaker 5 (13:02):
Got Like I'm just telling you, I think since the
adjustments in game two that Denver's made offensively with what
they're doing more with Yokich kind of how they're you know,
facilitating the offense through.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
Them, it's made it really.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
I mean, think about it.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
If he's bringing the ball up, it makes it really
hard for a big to guard him coast to coast,
which is an interesting adjustment that they've made. With Michael
Malone's made and the rest of his staff. I'm sure
they looked at it and said like, yeah, like, this
is how you're going to eliminate that. And Yokich is
capable of doing that. So I think it's more of

(13:35):
the schematic adjustment. I don't know that it matters as
calmly spend there.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Now.

Speaker 6 (13:39):
They lost the last three he's played two of the three.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
I think last night I think it was pretty it
was evident last night. And the only reason why I
say last night it was super evident more so than
the other game, is it just yet, Well, Game two
they were fine, Game three, three, and four just hasn't
It hasn't worked out for them. I think last night
more so, it just they just didn't seem balanced on offense.

(14:04):
It just they seemed slow on defense and weren't able
to handle you know, the style of play that that
they were bringing, you know, the Nuggets were bringing, but
on offense that that just wasn't It just didn't seem
like there was a balance, and it was like Anthony
Edwards was trying to be more of a facilitator than
he was a score. Even in game three, he was

(14:26):
trying to be more of a facilitator than be more
of a score. And I think that's more based upon
him not having that point guard presence. That's I mean,
that was it was super evident yesterday. You know, I
don't know, and I think that it's it's a rap,
that Serpe series as a rap.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I mean, after game two you said it was over
for Denver, and now now we're going the other way
with this.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Yeah, I mean I do. Yeah, so if I want
to change my mind and and and say that, you know,
because of certain things that have happened, you know, and
and the way that that Joki is playing now, I mean,
you know something different right now, and that's you know,
I'm allowed to change my mind.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (15:17):
Yeah, you sound like that Shannon sharp tip as what.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Yeah, yeah, that dip you know could get real. You know,
you try, you try to make sure you're you're you're
accurate with with what you say, you know, but you know,
you get the radio, you get the microphone, and you
get to change your mind. That's that's the beauty of
being on the radio every day.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Brady told me, like, because I you know, I went
to him for advice. I was like, hey, man, real
nervous about this radio thing, Like what do you suggest
I do if, like, I have a bold take? And
he said, well, you know, just lie about it afterwards,
for get it wrong, Like just lie, So.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Just lie about that dip. Yeah, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
So that that was always like something like that.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
I don't have to live in the dip, you know
what I mean? Change up, switch up. You know you
can feel the way you want to feel because you
always got the mic. Yeah, you learned that day one.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
You know.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
It's just it was a bold take. But it's only
a great bowl take if you keep reminding people about it.
If you don't remind them, they forget. You just move
on from it great point. And if they don't forget,
that means you're important. So you just just live with it.
I'm good.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
I gotta run it out with that dip.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Got ride it out with that. Did when I dip?
You did? We did, put your hand up on my
hip and we did, we did, we dip dip Dip Dip.
It's you.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Uh, there's two pros and a company here on Fox Sports.
All right, so we are gonna have the usuals coming
up later on, we do have another edition of in
case you missed it. We've got some midweek awards. We're
going to hand out an hour two of the program.
The old p Petrick spot. Vedagas joins us in our
three and we close up shop with the BQ News.

(16:54):
It's your traditional Wednesday edition of this show here from
the tairaq dot com studios. Coming up next here, somebody
is trying to let everybody know it's all good when
it comes to a major battle to watch in the
NFL this upcoming season. And we'll get into that for
you next here on FSR.

Speaker 7 (17:11):
Hey, it's Ben, host of the Fifth Hour with Ben Maller.
Would mean a lot to have you join us on
our weekly auditory journey. You're asking, what in God's name
is the Fifth Hour? I'll tell you it's a spin
off of it. Ben Mather Show, a Colt hit overnights
on FSR. Why should you listen? Picture if you will?

sports and more every week explore some amazing facts about

(17:34):
human nature and more. Listen to the Fifth Hour with
Ben Maller or the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast or wherever
you get your podcast.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Hey, by the way, you want a hot take. Yeah,
here we go at that orange Bowl Committee jacket. That
better than the Master's jacket.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
WHOA, I don't know about that.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
I'll take that orange over the green any day of
the week.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
Yeah, okay, calm down now.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
A little more tropical. I'll take that orange dip any day.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Yeah, that dip is clean. Tang.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Okay, it's well, what says jacket you wear? Is that
like a fifty two regular tank? Those broad shoulders raw?

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Fifty two?

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Yeah, just a fifty two?

Speaker 4 (18:19):
What's wrong with you, dude?

Speaker 1 (18:20):
It's like putting a jacket on a Volvo Brady's broad
shoulders just raw. Just shrugs for days.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
Not at all raw. Although I did your shrugs yesterday.
Actually I did it too, We did it together. The
ditch was.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
Hard too, like four plates on both sides.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Oh yeah, did it is? Two pros and a cup
of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio coming up in
less than twenty minutes from now. Somebody has some regrets
in the NFL, some regrets about a decision they made recently.
We will get into that for you here on Fox
Sports Radio. Now. I don't know if this guy's got
any regrets. He's going to discuss this. But Kirk Cousins, now,

(19:04):
remember the Atlanta Falcons. He spoke yesterday with the media
about just you know, the dynamic there that Michael Pennix
was drafted, sort of what that quarterback room looks like,
and also whether or not he has any regrets about
signing with Atlanta and leaving Minnesota knowing that Atlanta ended
up taking a quarterback with the number eight overall pick.

(19:25):
Here was Kirk Cousins yesterday.

Speaker 8 (19:27):
Always going to be competition in this league, and you
always got to go out and earn it. And you know,
I'm going to control what I can control, and also
understand there's a lot you don't control, and you know,
I learned a long time ago that you got to
focus on what you can control. The quarterback room is
a working force for one another, and that's never not
been the case. So we're all in there as a
working force together to help each other. That dynamic has

(19:50):
always been there and always will be there.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Transparency and communication are essential. And when the Falcons.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
Were according you, if they would have told.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
You then that they were going to take a pick
quarterback at eight, would you have signed. I don't know.

Speaker 8 (20:04):
I deal with hypotheticals. You know. We could go down
that path for a long time in a lot of ways.
It just doesn't do us any good. So, you know,
I'm excited for this opportunity to have. I think it's
a real privilege to be a quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons,
and I'm trying to make good on the opportunity they've
given me with the way I work each day and
the way we play this fall.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Bob and weave, Bob and weave. That was beautiful.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
Yeah, you know, look, I think he understands there's gonna
be a two year window here.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
I think he gets it.

Speaker 5 (20:36):
I think he's smart enough to see it from the
perspective of the team too, that he's a thirty six
year old quarterback coming off in achilles injury. There's a
chance he's not the same quarterback he was last year
before the injury or years prior to that. So there's
those elements of it, but there's there's also the fact
that They like Michael Pennix.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
They feel like he might be the future. Like I
think he gets that.

Speaker 5 (20:59):
I think he unders stands that this is all good
and now because it's May and we're not playing live
games where his performance will largely dictate. Then how the
media and the outside pressures play a role in that
quarterback room and how it operates. I've been in quarterback
rooms where you have a change of quarterback and it's

(21:22):
a difficult transition to make. You know, you've got a
guy who lost his job in essence, but they're not
getting fired. They're still sitting in the same room as you.
It is a really, really awkward deal to go through.
So that's the tough part is trying to figure out
how this is going to work once you get into
the season when the games really matter.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
When you have a high draft pick and they comes in,
that's you've already said to the starter, you're not going
to start but for a time, because we've invested a
large a large pick, a large asset to bring in

(22:05):
this player in particular that plays the same position as you.
All you can do is look at that guy and
see the as he said, see the competition of it
and try to hold it off for as long as
you can. And and in this scenario, in this situation,
he's been given guaranteed money, so he's been made whole.

(22:27):
I think, I think you always have to look at
it from the standpoint of when you have colleagues and
you're working for the same team, when you see something
happen and you're still in a situation where you need
to perform, you just mow your own lawn. That that
was the saying that we use, you know, I don't

(22:48):
know if they still use it, but you know, tend
to your own lawn. And and if if Kirk Cousins
is mowing his own lawn, then he's not worrying about
what's going on with with other guys that are employed
by the same company. You know, they could have a
different gig taking place, and you know, different things could
happen and they're still you know, working there and all

(23:10):
that stuff, and you try to figure it out. And
but then you don't try to figure it out. You
just say, you know, what, that's there, that's their lawn
to mow, and you let them mow that lawn and
see how how it all plays out in the end.
You just do your job at the highest level that
you can do it at, and you let the chips
fall where they may.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
I thought mowing your lawn meant something else, your own lawn.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Well, to some people it has a different meaning. Okay, yeah,
some people it has like if you have a very
hairy mid section or something like that. You know, some
people mow their chest. You know, they called tacos, right
taco mate? Yeah, so I heard y'all. Didn't catch what
I did right there, though, did you? I mean, Jonas?
You might have caught it, Jonas. Yeah. See, I talked

(23:54):
to Jonas about this, so I told him about mowing. Mowing.
He's trying to get you just to say it in
your own law and you know, staying in your home yard.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
It was well done. Did you like that little callback dip?

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Did you like that call back dip? Did you like it?

Speaker 2 (24:10):
I did?

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Did you peep?

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Most people don't practice that in our business.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
No, they don't.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
They do not, And it's okay, but you know, but
it's interesting because then you look at like opportunity and
you're like, you know, well, hold of that opportunity. And
and I'm not saying we as in we but maybe
I am, and then you're like, well, that's an opportunity,
Like I wonder how that's going to play out. And
then you're like, you know what, I'm just going to

(24:42):
stay in my yard. I'm just going to stay in
my yard, you know. And then that's what you do,
and then you don't worry about the rest of it.
You just you know, you just see where the chips
are going to fall.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Brady. Brady always preferred, you know, like, don't peek over
my stall like his and your own.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
I've never said that.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
You've never said that before that I might have got.

Speaker 5 (25:04):
I'm not the one who is I'm not the one
who loves road trips, just getting out of the road
and driving and then all of a sudden I have
to pull over to a rest.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
So I might say that's it.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
I had it under decent authority, not good authority, but
decent authority. That you that was kind of your go
to you know, hey, mind your own stall, like that
was kind of your your thing back in the day.
But I don't want to harken back to the good
old days.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
You know.

Speaker 5 (25:29):
The only thing I know right now is I had
to take two flights in like twenty four hours and
I ate the same exact thing on both those planes,
and now I feel.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
Like I smell like it.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
What was it? Indian food?

Speaker 4 (25:39):
No, dude, Indian food, like, sorry's any anyone out there
is no?

Speaker 1 (25:47):
I love Indian food?

Speaker 9 (25:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (25:50):
What best friends? Indian?

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Yeah? Yeah, that's thank you, Q, thank you? That is
the goat to. I'm married to one doesn't matter, uhl friend,
what's my virginity to?

Speaker 8 (26:07):
It?

Speaker 4 (26:07):
Still racist? It was like a smoke chicken rabbit.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
It was actually pretty good, but like now I feel
like I'm literally my sees there was cheese in there.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Yeah, it was like a chicken cheese. Put it on
your Did you put it on your head?

Speaker 1 (26:29):
You are unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yeah, that.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
I'm more disgusted. Why I still like I smell like
that right now?

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Yeah? But you now you had an issue with the
driver though, correct? Yeah, so.

Speaker 5 (26:57):
This this driver, it was a long pause. She didn't
drive faster than I think thirty on the highway, and
not because of traffic tho, not because of traffic, but
maybe no faster for the most part than twenty twenty five.
It took me forever to get to the airport, and

(27:18):
granted my flight was delayed, so unfortunately, it wasn't in
a rush, but she was driving so slow it actually
was dangerous.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Cars were weaving around us, honking, footing.

Speaker 5 (27:28):
I'm sitting there, I'm like, I almost said something to her,
but I don't want to be rude, so I just
kind of bit my tongue.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
But as soon as we pulled up to the airport,
I popped out of that thing.

Speaker 5 (27:38):
I popped the trunk, grabbed my bags before she could
even get out of the car and to get to
the side of it, and I was like, thank you,
I'm getting the hell out of here. There were people
mad at us, just in the line pulling up to
the actual drop off point of the airport, like cursing
at us, yelling.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
It was so bad. I don't want to be associated
with that, with that woman at all.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
I have a theory on this. I think that she
was just trying to milk as much time as she
could costibly get.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
Almost took someone else. She almost took someone else to
the airport. I look at the road, and you know.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
What, she was like, you know what, I don't want
to take any chances. I'll leave the e break on.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
She had someone else in the vehicle.

Speaker 5 (28:21):
And then I finally texted her because it looked like,
for whatever reason, she wasn't where she said she was.
And then she had to get this dude out of
the car. Someone randomly had just jumped in, and she
checked to see if it was who she thought it was,
and he like, I was going to La Guardia. This
person's going to JFK. And so the guy like, he's like, oh, sorry,

(28:42):
I just thought it was a car for I was
like yeah, I was like, I gotta go, pal, try
to pull here and get out.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
He was grabbed by his call and get your face.

Speaker 4 (28:52):
Hey, that's the New York City though. Man, people don't care.
They'll they'll steal whatever they take to get together where
they need to go.

Speaker 1 (28:58):

Brady plums are an underrated fruit.

Speaker 3 (30:37):
Is hilarious. I really enjoy plums. You know, Thank you
had a plum. They got that big seed in the middle,
you know what I mean? Like, Oh, man, I have
plums all the time. I bet you do.

Speaker 10 (30:53):
I do.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
I just did those.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
You want the juicy ones? Some of them could be
a little dry, you know what I mean? No mouth,
they say the best plump about get that produce? Oh

(31:18):
that that produce? Did boy? I want to mess with that?

Speaker 4 (31:24):
Why?

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Uh Lee?

Speaker 3 (31:26):
What do we got? Well?

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Guys?

Speaker 9 (31:28):
A week removed from the roast of Tom Brady, Tom
Brady was on the Pivot podcast was asked about, uh
what he learned about himself through the whole experience Take
a listen.

Speaker 10 (31:38):
I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought
they were so fun. I didn't like the way that
affected my kids. So it's the hardest part about like
the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you
think is one way and then all of a sudden
you realize I wouldn't do that again because of the
way that affected actually the people that I care about

(32:00):
the most in the world.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
Well, isn't that what you get when you sign up
for a room?

Speaker 3 (32:04):
Yes, that's exactly what you get. Get that.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
What do you think was gonna happen?

Speaker 3 (32:09):
Man, it's it's all on the table, you know.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
That's what comedy is.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
Shrapnel.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
Everybody's because the pivot having a white guy on that's nice.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
Ah yeah, up, Tom Brady, are you coming on up
one game?

Speaker 4 (32:22):
But this weekend?

Speaker 3 (32:23):
By the way, you available?

Speaker 4 (32:25):
Yeah? Yeah, I'm solo with the three girls, but I
would definitely call.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
We're taking over all right, Hell yeah, I we'll.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
Call you on it now, all right.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
I know we want to diversifier show. You know what
I mean.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
You know what I'm saying. You'll start with me. Then
you're working with a powder.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
We gotta we gotta just add that Rooney rule, you
know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (32:49):
Man, you know the more you know the lap.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
By the way, Tom Brady is part owner of the
Las Vegas Aces, right.

Speaker 3 (33:03):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and yeah, let's let's go check a game.
What else they're the Ragin and Champs, aren't they? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
something like that.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Okay, guys.

Speaker 9 (33:16):
An update from yesterday's in case you missed it, we
had talked about the Arizona Better who had a chance
to turn one hundred dollars into one point seven million,
three leg parlay. He got the Rangers and Chiefs to
win their respective championships, and now he also has the
Thunder on the way. Well, we had talked about where
and when you would cash out, So when the Thunder

(33:38):
went up one to oh on the Mavericks, he could
have cashed out for well over one hundred thousand, and
then it dipped down to thirty thousand after the MAVs
turned it around and went up to two to one.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
Well, after the Thunder even the series.

Speaker 9 (33:50):
On Monday, he hits his magic number, that magic number
being eighty thousand dollars. He has cashed out that ticket
one hundred dollars into eighty thousand.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
That's not bad, map, but he could have got that
hundred thousand.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
You know, wait, I thought he could have made one
point seven.

Speaker 9 (34:05):
If he had taken it all the way and the thunderwents. Well, yeah,
it would have to be the Thunder winning the championship,
winning the finals.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
I would have held on to it for at least
one more game.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
Yeah, maybe let that ride a little bit.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
Yeah, I think so I mean.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
I think they're going to win. I think they're okay,
So he's gonna win that series. So what would the
payout have been had he gotten to the Western Conference finals?
What would that have?

Speaker 3 (34:30):
Like?

Speaker 9 (34:30):
I think I had read if they got to the finals,
it would jump up to seven hundred twenty thousand.

Speaker 5 (34:36):
Yeah, I would have I would have played this series
out right. I mean, I don't think it past Denver.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Lucas not healthy, So like you've got an advantage there,
and I yeah, I'm sorry, buddy. Listen. I mean, and
if you want to take betting advice from anybody.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
Let it be me.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
All right, I'll give you a little little tip and
how to how to operate with that financial dip. And
you mess this one up. Should have waited, they would
have gone to the next round and then he would
have figured out, you know, seven hundred and twenty thousand
dollars sounds a little better than eight eighty k. So
what else we got?

Speaker 9 (35:14):
Lead guys, In case you missed this, our guy, Doug
Gottlieb has been hired as the Green Bay men's basketball coach.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
A five year contract. Yeah, congrats, all right, go Doug?

Speaker 3 (35:25):
All right?

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Oh wait, Bay, Phoenix. Hey, just to bust Doug's balls,
should we like make it a point like every time
they lose a game or if they have a poor performance,
we'll just like air him out on the air, just
like just give him a hard time and say, well,
this is you know, just revolting the way this team
has played and really dive and go.

Speaker 3 (35:47):
All the way in what level is it.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
Do you want?

Speaker 1 (35:51):
It's Division one?

Speaker 3 (35:52):
Yeah, it's college Yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Wisconsin, Green Bay. And if you know his backstory, his
dad obviously he was a coach. He was born I
believe in Milwaukee or in Green Bay. So to kind
of go back out there and you know, complete the
circle from where he started. Like, pretty cool story for Doug.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Is he going full time? Well yeah, he's the head coach.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
Yeah, hell yeah?

Speaker 3 (36:15):
Oh oh head coach pe Yeah, rights man, good luck?

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Got that head coach did?

Speaker 4 (36:24):
All right?

Speaker 3 (36:25):
We gotta have to pay attention to it, you know,
I'll have to keep up with it.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
It'll be fun, you know, fun to have to get
out there also be in Green Bay for the drafts.
In Green Bay, at least you have some place to stay, now,
least stay with Doug out in Green Bay for the
draft next year.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
Yeah, go see a game, Go stay with Doug.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
Yeah, hell yeah, he's gonna hook it up.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
Bang.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
I can't wait.

Speaker 9 (36:44):
I can't wait to see what Green Bay's schedule release
is gonna be.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
I'm gonna get my tickets.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
Maybe nothing.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
What were you gonna say?

Speaker 4 (36:53):
Was this what?

Speaker 3 (36:54):
What was the name of this segment?

Speaker 1 (36:55):
What do you what are you gonna say?
