Speaker 1 (00:41):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe on
a Monday, Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
I mean, at some point this has got to stop.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Man Jonas Jonas, Jonas Jonas, Yeah, we get it. Jonas
Jonas Jones.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
Jonas knocks song same song.
Speaker 6 (01:13):
Well, why you don't.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Want to change your song? I already have one sent
in changed.
Speaker 6 (01:18):
Why is this still the same song because.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
It's not actually sent in yet to my drafts.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
This one guy Q over the limit, but I picked it.
I'm ready to go.
Speaker 6 (01:29):
I mean it was good.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Lest by the way, you're gonna alienate Coop and Eddie
if you get rid.
Speaker 6 (01:33):
Of the care. You know, don't care.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
I don't care. Somebody sent me a link saying that
this is one of the greatest songs of all time. Yeah,
I saw that. I would dispute that it was Jimmy.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
You know what, when when someone sends you a link
like that, you just have to go. They're on drugs,
that's what they're on.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Yeah, it's a fair, fair statement. Fair, it's common. And
Pete Rock with their favorite songs were and I want
to say it's Jimmy Kimmel. I think it was anyway,
and they said Sanford and Son, Jimmy fallon. There you go,
thank you, sir, thank you for the assists. A little
bit of a difference, But is it, I mean less? Yeah,
(02:17):
I don't watch it either.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Well, one of them had a Bowl game named after him.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
Yes, so and then one of was funny.
Speaker 7 (02:23):

Dot Com furnished by tire rack dot Com. The way
tire buying should be and that's a hell of a
way to start off the show by giving away some
good stuff here from.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Tire rack tires. Baby.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Now, now we get into some methods, just some tires.
So all right, so let's get right to it. Your guys'
thoughts on the Cubs four games split with the Cardinals.
Let's go right into the top.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
I guess how I'd summarize it as saying, if you
have season tickets, I mean you got you got some problems,
you got some problems.
Speaker 6 (03:49):
As far as we're gonna do with those tickets.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
I would agree with you, And if I knew anybody
that did, I would definitely be critical. But kind of
a kind of an interesting weekend, and this is normally
not the subject matter which we dive into. I feel
like we're kind of lucky that we don't have to
talk about politics, because.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Every once in a while, you want to take a
shot at it, you know what I mean, what do
you mean? Me?
Speaker 6 (04:16):
The hell do all?
Speaker 5 (04:18):
I think you've got to take shots, And that's not
a good way of putting it. But these given the
recent events, I would just generally say this. You know,
one of the great things we always take take for
granted in this country is the fact that we can
live and cohabitate with people that we are polar opposite
(04:43):
of as far as our belief in whatever that may
be politically, spiritually.
Speaker 6 (04:49):
You know, economical, whatever it is.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
And that's the glory to this country, like is the
fact that you can believe in what you want to
believe and live free and be able to enjoy life.
Speaker 6 (05:02):
It's not like that when you go other places.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
There is the element of free freedom, of free speech,
and all these other things that come along with it.
And what happened this past weekend, to me, is one
of those dark days, even in light of the fact
that one of our former presidents, Donald Trump, who's running
for a president again, was able to rise up from
(05:24):
that and it will, in my opinion, be the most
iconic photo and picture that I've ever seen in my lifetime.
And this is politics aside. It's the fact that even
in this moment where you have a man that's worth
millions and millions and millions of dollars that didn't need
to run the first time to be president, that doesn't
need to run a second time to be president, not
(05:45):
for his own doing, but it's doing it because he
wants to serve this country. Say whatever you want about
him as a human being.
Speaker 6 (05:52):
We're all flawed. Everyone's got flaws. Well, that's Donald Trump.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Jobont These two men are sacrificing a portion of their
life to lead our country. Are there selfish things that
come along with that, of course, for their family, for themselves,
et cetera. Okay, but they literally are putting their lives
on the line. And you know, in the case at
least Donald Trump, he's been so wealthy he doesn't even
(06:16):
he needs to. He could be on a beach somewhere,
but he's choosing to do it again. And the fact that,
you know, someone takes an attempt on his life and
even in that moment, you know, as it gets grazed
by the bullet, he gets back up like that, to
me was one of the most iconic moments of America
of a guy being able to gets knocked down, almost
(06:38):
damn near killed and is able to get back up
and telling people to fight for what they believe in,
which is awesome in a degree and a representation of
what this country is. But let's not be mistaken like
the fact that there is an assassination attempt is just
mind boggling. It's terrible, awful, And you know, I understand
(07:02):
this happens with high valued figures and presidential candidates.
Speaker 6 (07:06):
And other other people you know more often than we
probably realize.
Speaker 5 (07:10):
But the fact that it got that close to happening,
it seemed like there was a lot of ways that
could have been stopped. It's hard to comprehend and understand.
Hopefully we'll get a sense.
Speaker 6 (07:19):
Of all of that. But I just hope regardless of
whatever your side you're.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
On, what you we're all Americans, like, we're all here,
we're all living together, we're all you know, a part
of this great country and we're allowed to enjoy in
so many things that you don't have the liberty to
enjoy it too. So I hope and pray that people,
you know, whatever again you believe and whatever you're going
to vote, just go vote like that. That's that's how
you display your difference. You don't need to use violence
(07:47):
as a portion of that.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Yeah, I watched.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
When I first saw the news, I was almost ashamed
that I'm that I wasn't surprised because I thought, yeah,
this is kind of where this is headed. I remember
my mom telling me stories about the Kennedy assassination and
just how that impacted her because she was a teenager,
like she was eighteen nineteen years old. She was expecting
her first child with my dad, and I think my
(08:15):
older brother was born twelve days after the assassination, and
just how much it impacted her and everything that went on.
My older brother was born twelve days before the assassination,
I should say, and just how it impacted her and
how the country changed and all that stuff. And then
you just go through history and you see, you know,
it happened to Martin Luther, King, Bobby Kennedy, an attempt
(08:35):
on Ronald Reagan, like all the other times that it's happened,
Abe Lincoln obviously, and I just I'm watching it going
like why am I not surprised, Like I'm not surprised
that it's at this point because just on the outside
looking in, like you see just the reaction, like people
that we follow that we know in sports, whether it's
(08:55):
people in the media, former athletes, whatever, it's become so
toxic and the vitriol is at such a level that
that's all anybody wants to talk about it. Like there's
people that I respect in our business that are obsessed
on either side with everything politics, like retweets posts, like
(09:15):
it's like all day, every day, and while I'm looking
at it and going, why am I not surprised. I
then had a secondary thought, which was, it's another example
of the minority speaking for the majority of this country.
The minority being whack jobs, lunatics who cannot handle that
somebody's got a different opinion than them, so they want
(09:36):
to literally get triggered about it and try and do something.
And it happens, whether it's you know, mass shootings or
you know school shootings or people you know, hide like
whatever you want to call it, it's okay to have
a differing opinion. And as sports fans, we're just kind
of conditioned to it. Like you got once from Pennsylvania,
(09:58):
once from Ohio. Like, if you want to root for
the Steelers and you want to root for the Browns,
it's cool. You can all meet up at a bar
afterwards and have a couple of drinks and everything's fine.
Whatever happened in the game, like, it's fine. But we
are more accustomed to that. And I look from a
political standpoint and I go, yeah, these people are giving
(10:18):
the rest of us a bad name because you've got
a couple of losers. Like how that goober got on
a building with that clear of a shot. I mean,
you want to go down that road and take that
discussion another place. That's a whole other topic of conversation.
But that's just a representation of where we're at when
you can let a couple of lunatics, a couple of
(10:38):
nut jobs try and steer the story of the country
in a way that makes it look worse than it is,
and I'm just kind of tired of it. I'm tired
of having those people represent us when the majority of
us can handle this stuff civilized and not get so
upset about it because somebody thinks differently than we do.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Just ridiculous. I don't feel like it represents me. I
stare clear of things like this. I'll let y'all have it.
You know, I have my personal opinions on it one
way or the other. But you know, at the end
of the day, it's unfortunate. I got let me take it.
I feel like it's it's unfortunate that, you know, the
(11:18):
things that that we deal with aren't aren't really really
you know, situated in sensibility. You know the golden rule,
like you learn you should learn the Golden rule very
early in your life. You know, do unto others as
you would have them do unto you. And there's just
(11:39):
so many principles and so many values that you know,
I feel like I've been raised on, you know, and
within the family and the household that I was I
was born in. And you know, one thing, one thing
about it is is it doesn't take much to think
about the fact that you should just treat other people
(11:59):
the way you're going to treat them. And I'll kind
of leave it there. I'll keep it simple because you
guys had a lot to say about it, but yeah,
for me, it's it's you know, politics are always going
to be politics. And I played in DC totally understand
from a different perspective, at a different angle. I mean,
they cover sports like they cover politics in DC. There's
(12:22):
a lot to it. There's there's so many, so many
elements and so many you know, different things that are
connected to the power in the you know, the leverage
of of what what politics represent. But when you get
into situations like this, I mean there's there's you know,
(12:42):
you you start to feel a certain type of way
in terms of like is this is this where we're
really at in twenty twenty four, Like there's a lot
of things going on. But to be in a situation
where you see something like like you said, Jonas, like
to see something that's happened that in the seventies, you
know before, for that to take place now, like to
(13:04):
actually see it, like it's just kind of it's kind
of a brain cramp. But I mean, maybe they were bored.
You know, it's not a big sports moment in time
right now. There's not a ton of sports going on.
I mean, maybe the dude was bored Butler County, you know, like, hey,
there's no football on. Butler County is big on football.
(13:24):
Maybe he was trying to you know, I don't know,
entertain himself. That was stick. But at the end of
the day, I don't you know, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (13:33):
Man.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
I try not to make too much sense of it,
because you know, my wife always says it's impossible to
make sense out of something that doesn't make sense. So
it is what it is.
Speaker 6 (13:44):
I'll say this.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
I mean, I know you don't want to voice you know,
maybe some of all your thoughts behind the scenes, but.
Speaker 6 (13:52):
I've seen it.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
In light of recent events, there's been a lot of
people who are public figures that have withheld how they
feel for whatever reason, was like a moment where they
wanted to open up and express whether it was on X,
whether it's on you know, just people that I've known
that we've been texting back and.
Speaker 6 (14:10):
Forth about it, about how they really feel about it now.
And it's weird.
Speaker 5 (14:13):
It's almost awaken the sense of pride and patriotism in
seeing someone who again doesn't have to but once too
is running for president. It gets shot at. And in
that moment where he probably realized, like I just got
shot out, I could be dead, there was obviously and
by the way, our thoughts and prayers go out to
those who are affected by this, impacted by this, there
(14:35):
was a loss of life of father there, you know.
And that's what kills you with all of this is
is it doesn't have to be this way. You know,
we don't have the resorts of violence to express our
difference of opinion. There's a ballot box for that when
it's all said and done. But you know, to then
have him get back up and continue on and nothing stops.
Speaker 6 (14:57):
You know, he moves on. He's going to the Republican
National Convention, and you know.
Speaker 5 (15:01):
He keeps pushing like that symbolic of America, you know,
in a small way, and I understand for some people
out there, that's maybe not the person you want representing,
you know, that sort of symbolism for America. But it's
like our ability to get knocked down and get back
up and be better from it, and hopefully all of
us can be better from all of this. It's terrible
that it takes an event like this to awaken people
(15:23):
and wanting to, you know, realize, like this isn't.
Speaker 6 (15:26):
The way and we just shouldn't be the way.
Speaker 5 (15:28):
And I understand there's a lot more investigation that needs
to go to figure out how all this happened, but
I do hate the fact that the focus has primarily
been just on the presidential portion politics of this, where
you've got people who've lives were impacted forever, you know,
by this event.
Speaker 6 (15:44):
So that's that's the true tragedy to it is the
fact there's a loss of life.
Speaker 5 (15:49):
And I mean the crazier part is even hearing to
Jonas's point, like people talking about how oh it was staged,
I was like, wait, what, like you think that like
they wanted to put someone on a room to shoot
and nearly graise a dude's ear and kill someone else
and wound other people, Like you really think that, Like
you hear those opinions, you go, this is crazy, Like
you actually can't believe people like that have a platform
(16:11):
to voice that opinion. But that's out there. That's a
real thing, that is. But it's a tragedy, man, it
really is.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
I think it was Matt Tayebi, the reporter who I
think he was on Twitter and he said something along
the lines of, yeah, I just want to get some
information on this whole thing, but every network I turned
to it's like a culture war, Like you can't even
get information on it, like because everybody's got some sort
of spin or viewpoint or angle they're taken as opposed to, dude,
what happened, what's going on? How do we fix it?
(16:40):
Instead it's I've got this opinion. I've got that opinion.
This is why it should happen. This is what it's like.
Come on, dude, Like.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
It was tough watching it that night, like going to sleep,
you know. And you because I try to watch all
different channels, and I understand if you watch Fox News
here people think you're this way. If you watch CNN
or MSNBC or this way. What was interesting to me
was the the contrast of what they'd show. It was
like with Fox News, they were showing essentially the event,
what had happened, trying to get facts, trying to you know, again,
(17:08):
have people state what their opinion was, all these different things,
and I was seeing that it was a little bit
more of you know, kind of somewhere in between. But
they kept showing like air Force one and Biden going
to He's went back to the White House, and thinking
to myself, like, well, there's not much action going on there, Like, great,
he's going back to the White House. Can I get
more details of what happened at the actual event? Like
I don't need to see Joe Biden fall up the
stairs of Air Force want again, Like that's not what
(17:29):
we want to watch right now.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
It's like, can I actually get the facts of all this?
Speaker 1 (17:33):
It's just the whole thing was bizarre. But uh, you know, hey,
at least we got the NFL season coming up. That's
what I'd like to focus on as well too, you know.
And by the way, well not really but August first,
not that far away Hall of Fame game bears Texan,
so we will have more on the year.
Speaker 6 (17:51):
Have some rookies that have reported to make camp?
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Yeah, right in the was it the Are the Ravens
the only team that had Why are.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
They reporting early?
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Is because they care more about the preseason than everybody else.
They got a street to keep alive.
Speaker 6 (18:03):
There's a bunch more reporting tomorrow. So I was like,
rookie s all right?
Speaker 1 (18:07):

But you've got issues, dude, dab.
Speaker 2 (19:34):

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Today it is two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox with you coming up at we'll call it about
twenty minutes from now from the tiraq dot com studios.
You want to talk about dedication to your sport. Somebody's

We will get into that for you again twenty minutes
(19:58):
from now here on FSR Oh, all right, LeVar, here
we go again more Aaron Rodgers news. I mean you
want it, you got it.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
There's a certain topics y'all gonna have this one. LeVar
took over.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
LeVar vetoed what what Brady and I were looking to discuss?
H and Lee the first couple of segments of this show.
He wanted politics and Rogers to start off the show.
Just disgusting, but nonetheless Aaron Rodgers was that the what's it?
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Is this?
Speaker 1 (20:30):
The American Century Championship?
Speaker 2 (20:32):
Is that?
Speaker 6 (20:32):
That's right? Good job? Jonas So asked that question for
like eight years.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Is it the one where Jerry Rice got upset because
a couple of reporters asked about the chiefs receiving corps?
Speaker 5 (20:42):
So he's going to be more to that, right, Like
you can't just blow up on a guy for asking
about the chiefs receiving corps?
Speaker 6 (20:48):
Like why does that infuriate Jerry Rice?
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Jerry Rice? Man, he shouldn't even been talking to Jerry Rice.
Have you ever seen Jerry Rice out?
Speaker 6 (20:57):
Yeah, I've been around him.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
I saw I'm getting his shoes cleaned to the airplay Hey, brouh,
true story.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Jerry Rice be on the move. Brouh. Don't talk to
Jerry if you if you know what you know, you
just don't. Just just hold your piece.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Man.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Yeah, the goat goat on the move. It's the goat
on the move.
Speaker 6 (21:15):
I was with him one night when he turned up,
and I know that. I mean, he had a great time.
Speaker 5 (21:19):
I was like, dang, man, that was my favorite favorite
player ever, like growing up, like it was my first
position player was wide receiver and I had family out
north of California, so they like would seventy forty nine
ers gear and I love Jerry Rice, Like that was
the position.
Speaker 6 (21:33):
That was the thing.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
I was like, man, I got I got hands and
be like Jerry one day and.
Speaker 6 (21:38):
Uh yeah, he got turned up at this event.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
The goat turns up.
Speaker 6 (21:42):
Now, yeah, it was it was interesting, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
My guess. But don't just be anybody trying to turn
up with you know, don't be any just anybody trying
to talk to him either.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
My thought was that he was having a couple of
throat burners and they caught him and he was in
a bad mood.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
As he wasn't playing.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
I didn't understand.
Speaker 5 (21:58):
Did he did he make some stick meant about the
Chiefs wide receivers before they played the forty nine ers
or something? Was there is there a backstory there and
that's why they asked him, like why would he care
about the Chiefs receivers?
Speaker 1 (22:11):
The only like Jerry Rice is the only response to
this that I've seen is that they were trying like
being a smart ass or he had a smirk on
his face.
Speaker 6 (22:22):
Yeah, would do that all the time.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
So yeah, I'm like all the time.
Speaker 6 (22:25):
All the time.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
I mean, you know, I'm not here asking about the
Chiefs receiving Corps to Jerry Rice because I don't care.
And these guys asked the question.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
Dudes on top of the building. Damn well, I think
that is what you did.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
What you did, you'd done it, You've done it. But
like you know, he said that he just didn't like
the tone or he thought they were being wise asses,
and he decided he was going to threaten to beat
him up.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
So there was that.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Yeah, I mean, I just think he was having a
couple of drinks and things got a little sideways.
Speaker 6 (23:00):
This was on video. It's not like I don't recall
it like it was.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
I don't recall it. Don't don't.
Speaker 6 (23:06):
Oh it happened. I mean it was very clear as day,
like he said, I will f you up.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
And then they were they released a second video the
reporters and like, look, this is just to show everybody
we were not trying to cause any problems, like there
was she whatsoever and Jerry Rice wasn't having it.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
So getting Jay Rice's space now.
Speaker 6 (23:26):
Behind the ropes, that's the weird thing.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Yeah, credentialed and uh just goes to show you things happen.
Although I don't want to sit here and judge those
guys because we were credentialed at Radio Row in Vegas,
and I would I would say that we probably didn't
behave the best.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
If we behaved the worst, who would have experienced it
or witnessed it. It was too early to be there.
The only videos that would have surfaced of that behavior
would have been from us.
Speaker 5 (23:53):
It's gonna be a great test this year to see
if anyone actually shows up between five and eight am
Central time.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
I think that's still a little too still.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
A little early, right, you got to be there until
nine am Eastern where people start you know, coming in
flowing in.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
I walked down there a couple of times just to
see the the you know what it looks like with people,
and it's crazy, man, like we totally we miss out
on everything.
Speaker 5 (24:21):
It's a Churchill Downs, right, You've been to the Derby
when it's not the Derby, Like, ever been to Churchill Downs.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
I've never been. I have been to the Kentucky Derby,
but never been at you know, three in the morning.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
You know, let me tell you, when you go to
that pix in the morning when it's not the Derby weekend,
all right, you realize it's about all the pretty people.
Speaker 6 (24:40):
All you pretty people out there that go to the Derby.
Speaker 5 (24:43):
You are what makes Churchill Down special because that thing
bare bones naked yu yeah, Keenland.
Speaker 6 (24:51):
Any day of the week, all right, and you can
stamp that down.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Damn keep real right there. I felt that.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Dang well, Aaron Rodgers is at this golf turn.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
I was trying to stay away from that. I was
trying to keep y'all going so we didn't have to
visit it.
Speaker 6 (25:14):
Why are you trying to get away from it? Because
you've made this grand proclamation.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Yes, he's uh, you know I'm over it.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
Listen, he's a little bittersweet. Uh, And he was talking
about this being sort of the end of the road
when it comes to his summer, and he was kind
of looking at to, uh, to the upcoming season. So
let's listen to Aaron.
Speaker 6 (25:35):
Aaron still like it.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
It's a nut.
Speaker 6 (25:44):
Mountain.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
Okay, go ahead, all right, because.
Speaker 10 (25:47):
My achilles feels good. You know, I felt really good
then last year. Then there's kind of a there's always
that kind of plateau part. It's just about getting back
into it. I felt good, off spring had a nice,
OTAs beautiful trip to Egypt, and this is like the
last marker summer's over on Sunday Walking of eighteen is
like super bittersweet, but it's funn to be especially, I mean,
(26:09):
aj and Miles two of my best friends.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
So there he is. So now he's just freely talking
about it on the other side of the trip. Oh yeah,
well I had a great trip to Egypt.
Speaker 5 (26:20):
So let me just let me just take this perspective
on it, you know, because you ever see someone do
something you're like, man, maybe they got to figure it out,
you know, like, maybe they're doing it right.
Speaker 6 (26:32):
Maybe that's the case.
Speaker 5 (26:33):
Man, like I look back and I was invited to
that event way long ago, back when I first got
into the NFL.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
To Egypt no oh, to walk like an Egypt show. Yeah, no,
I was.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
I was invited to play it, and it was like
twofold one. It was always too close to training camp.
I've always been like a meathead. Tried to work hard
because that's where I feel like I got my advantage.
And then the second thing was I just wasn't very
good at golf back then. I just started to pick
it up playing because you get invited to all these
different charity events when when you play in the NFL.
(27:06):
So I was like, man, I want to go on
TV and you know, rip a ball and take someone out.
Speaker 6 (27:11):
Like like that's not that's not gonna be a good look.
Speaker 5 (27:14):
So I was never really one that was excited about,
you know, trying to take up that opportunity. In retrospect,
it's like would have been nice, Like would have been
nice because once you get in one on that too,
like you're kind of in like as long as you
keep you know, staying going to the event, like they
kind of keep you and they don't only cycle too
many people out unless they miss, and once they miss,
then you're kind of all of.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
A sudden on the waiting list again.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
But he's able to find this work life balance that
it seems odd to us. And I don't know if
it's like, is it if he was getting paid like
league minimum, would you have an issue with any of
what Aaron Rodgers was doing? Or is it still because
he's the quarterback and he's Aaron Rodgers and it's everything else.
I always feel like there's an element of, like what
he's being paid that's tied to how much people care
(28:00):
about what he's doing in his free time.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
I just think he's masterful at presenting things in a
way where people care. Because honestly speaking, I don't have
any issues with what he does. I mean, he can
do what he wants to do. I mean, listen, if
you want to expand your horizons and do things and
experience things, and you have the ability to do so,
(28:25):
then you should do it. You only got one life
to live. I have no problem with the yolo approach
to to what you're doing. I just think it's the way.
I think it's the way he comes across the people
that people kind of get caught up into it almost
like you know, it's like, is he talking to us
(28:46):
as if he's like smarter or he's more ahead or
whatever it may be. And I'm just speaking. I'm just
I'm I'm I'm trying to put it out there in
terms of what it could be. I don't invest that
much in it.
Speaker 6 (29:00):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
I don't have that problem. I don't have a problem
with him, really, I really don't. It's funny, but I
think I think that that's what it is, like he
is a really good football player. To answer the question, no,
no one would care if he was a minimum wage
player doing all of these other things. But at the
same time, would you one, would you know that he
(29:21):
was doing all these other things for one and then
for two, how likely would it be for him to
keep the job, maintain the job if if he were
doing all these other things, and the employer, the current employer,
you know, saw it as you know, this guy's more
into other things than he is trying to be on
this football team. You know, if a guy that that
(29:42):
didn't do what Aaron Rodgers did, missed a mandatory mini camp,
would he still be on the team. So it's kind
of all relative, but at the same time, I mean
good for him, good for him and and and the
people hating on him for what he does, the extra
stuff that he does. You know, if you have your
own issues as to why you have a problem with him,
(30:04):
then you need to address yourself, not Aaron Rodgers. Like
you said, Aaron Rodgers seems to have it pretty figured
out for what Aaron Rodgers wants to do and how
he wants to do it and the timing of it.
I mean, any dude that could do what he does
on the off season, roll in looking like the dude
straight off of con Air and and and pull it off,
not not just try to do it, but he had
(30:26):
the tank top on, he had the jeans on, he
flipped the hair back, he pulled it off. Was dude's
name again, Nicholas Cage, I mean he pulled it off.
Anybody who could pull off the stuff that Aaron Rodgers
be doing. He goes on Pat McAfee show every week,
does his does his appearance. He pulled it off. Everything
(30:48):
he seems to do he pulls off. And oh, by
the way, when he was on the highest I'm gonna
pull it off. He was winning MVP of the league,
so at the end of the day, results speak for themselves,
and as long as he's getting the results, I mean,
people are going to be especially the people that are
paying them and that are sharing for them, They're going
(31:08):
to be tolerant of all the other stuff that comes
with it. But I don't know. I don't I don't
feel confident about it at this point. I don't feel
confident going into this year that that's going to be
the case. But that's just me. Though.
Speaker 6 (31:21):
Would you feel more confident if they got Davonte.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
Adams, Yes, I would you think That's that's the issue.
I just I think Davante Adams obviously, with with Garrett Wilson,
I think that those two together, it would be hard
(31:45):
for me to say that they can't win at a
rapid clip. I just think today, I just think that
there's still a team that that misses the playoffs by
a game or so. That's what I think. That's just
I'm stick to I'm gonna stick to my bowl.
Speaker 6 (32:01):
Stamped.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
I stamped it.
Speaker 6 (32:04):
Stamped. It's a good hot that's a good sound effect.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Yeah, stamp it.
Speaker 1 (32:12):

Good thing, the guys are here to bring you in
case you missed it.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
For that, we turn it over to our executive producer Lee.
Speaker 6 (33:47):
Lap.
Speaker 12 (33:48):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning, Joe, just good morning, Brady,
Good morning LeVar.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
Guys. In case you missed this yesterday, Lap.
Speaker 12 (33:54):
Wild scene over at the hard Rock Stadium COPA America Final,
Argentina of course beats Columbia one, but I don't know
if you saw it. In case you missed it, things
were going crazy.
Speaker 3 (34:05):
Nobody was checking tickets.
Speaker 12 (34:06):
People were storming the gates, jumping over fences, the whole nine,
going through vents.
Speaker 6 (34:11):
Did you see this, Yeah, yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 12 (34:14):
Yeah, going through the air ducts and then they destroyed
basically a whole entrance escalator.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Crazy scene.
Speaker 5 (34:21):
Yeah, that was actually I believed like the seventy two Club,
which is like an exclusive club.
Speaker 6 (34:25):
They're a hard rock stadium, very very dice area.
Speaker 5 (34:28):
Expensive tickets, so I don't have to figure that out.
But hard Rock Stadium is an unbelievable stadium. They've really
done a tremendous job with it. It's sad to see
that that's unfortunately how things were handled. Obviously a lot
of those people did not have tickets.
Speaker 6 (34:44):
It's messy.
Speaker 5 (34:45):
It's Shakira performing at halftime, It's Argentina Columbia.
Speaker 6 (34:48):
There's a lot of excitement.
Speaker 5 (34:49):
But how they weren't better prepared to stop that bum
rush of people coming in is crazy to me.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
I mean, I think it's dedication. You know, they want
to be there. Sure they've got to see it. And uh,
you know a lot of people buy a ticket.
Speaker 6 (35:06):
By the way, they were going.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
Somebody up scalping tickets take there.
Speaker 6 (35:10):
They were doing row by row.
Speaker 5 (35:11):
The police were checking people's tickets at that point. It
became such a security it did. But dudes dressed up
like in full gear not like you know, walking on
there there. I mean, it was like pretty crazy to
see just walking up down aisles.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Were they arresting them if they didn't have a ticket, Yes,
they were this, they weren't the rest of their kicking
them out kick them. I mean, I got news for you.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
If I was going to sneak into a stadium filled
with people Argentina and Columbia soccer fans. Not a bad
place to be, I'll tell you.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
Because man, that might be a spot where Lee makes
an exception? Is that fair to say?
Speaker 6 (35:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Lee?
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Yeah, yeah, I would love to attend that name.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
That's funny exception.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
He might color outside the lines, no pun intended.
Speaker 6 (35:59):
So I just don't know where the lines are for Lee.
I'm trying to figure it out.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
That's the line everybody would cross personally. Yeah, speaking, how
old is who ain't crossing that way? How old is Shakira?
Now we're not talking about Oh, I'm like, listen, why
is that where your mind went?
Speaker 6 (36:17):
I actually was gonna ask the question, she's forty seven?
Speaker 5 (36:21):
Yeah, the her hips don't move quite Did she have
a solid hipstone lie or something?
Speaker 2 (36:26):
They don't lie. They probably still don't.
Speaker 6 (36:28):
They don't move quite the same.
Speaker 5 (36:29):
I think she's like, like, if she's forty seven, her
hipso age of like a seventy year old.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
But all that, they're probably still telling the truth.
Speaker 6 (36:36):
Though they're still telling the truth.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
But I just there's a lot of that that looks
like it's mar said that Darryl Green is still fast
he is. Yeah, Like so I think the same would
apply to Shakira. Whatever she's still got kind of scary
how fast that dude is.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Ah, what the what? What the what?
Speaker 5 (36:56):
He's what the sixth grade Spanish teacher telling me about
Shakira And so at that.
Speaker 6 (37:02):
Time, I like looked her up.
Speaker 5 (37:03):
I was like, wow, like, probably not a good idea
to tell an adolescent boy about Shakira before.
Speaker 6 (37:09):
She hit mainstream. I went down a huge rabbit hole
there for.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
A while, Miss Lopez. We don't see a lot of
these in Ohio where they get them from.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
Yeah, it is speaking of hips, knot lying. Didn't the
dude from Kiss didn't he didn't he pass away Simmons
or something like that. Simons Simmons, he's.
Speaker 6 (37:30):
Still around the fitness.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Bill Simmons, that's right, because that was about say he
married to Richards Richard Simmons, because the other Simmons that
from Kiss he's married to Shannon Tweet, isn't he?
Speaker 1 (37:42):
Can we just point out the fact that you just
killed two different people.
Speaker 5 (37:45):
There all the way they were so far off from
from Richard Simmons, Bill.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
And look up, got it? Look up that Simmons his
wife though look up Shannon tweet
