Speaker 3 (02:36):
A coop looked at him, like, what the.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
What's wrong with you?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I mean today early for delivery Wednesdays, but uh it's Tuesday.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yeah, feeling himself. I told, I told you guys, man
Lee gets it in. It doesn't matter the.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
Day, plays time. It's five o' clock somewhere.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Talk about l I mean he's got he's got a
stain on his shirt. It looks like number two, which,
by the way, he said, no, that's the good curry
smells good. Yeah, it's like yeah, it's like people, it's
like he passed out on a bed of milk duds
and just rolled around in it for an hour. And
it's he's got his packers shirt on that was a

(03:22):
gift from our friends at the graduate at the Homage bar.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
And uh, well, now the stain makes sense, o heay,
So look though, but he's got a hat on what
his sunglasses? What a packer's hat on top? Of the hat.
He's wearing two hats. He's wearing two hats leak, which
is two more than he normally wears. I mean, sometimes
it's safer to wear two hats. They called me two
hats Lap.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Who calls that Lee?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
That shorty? Last night?

Speaker 6 (03:51):
Every time I look at myself, Dang, every time I
walk in.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
The room, that's what they say. There's two hat perfect timing.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Dang.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
There's only a few people that could get away with
walking around with two hats on and have a name
attached and associate it with it.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yeah, yeah, I want to Lap.

Speaker 7 (04:19):
That's the shirt too, hat the lap that's the shirt
and sunglasses in between though, he's so cool his his
sunglasses in between the hats.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
You saw his shirt and you're like, is that do do?

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Is that do do on your dode do on your shirt? Player?

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
It smells good? Yeah okay, Lee, Yeah, it's uh it
does smell good. It tastes good too. What's wrong with you?

Speaker 8 (04:52):
Man?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
It was better? All right? So? So what is it?
Is it the chili dog or is it it's curry? Uh?

Speaker 6 (05:00):
We we we spice up the curry?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Was the curry? Was white girl? Curry? Monday what does
that mean?

Speaker 9 (05:08):
Man?

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Can you say, like, what is that? On a second? Yeah,
it was.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
It was tasteless.

Speaker 10 (05:14):
No no, no, no seasoning, no seasoning, had had to
fix it up. Dang, So now it tastes good now
now now now it deserves to be on the chest.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Starting to wonder if you run Antonio Brown's Twitter account, leave.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Trying to wonder. I'm curious as to who runs his
Twitter has X account.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Man, he's handing out awards constantly on that thing, like
it's just two hats of the week. Soang, dang, you
you cover it hot?

Speaker 1 (05:52):
You slid in there kind of hot? Just now?

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Oh man, Well listen, we will keep you posted as
to how this show coast for the great lead to last.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Oh man, the wheels is already off. Yeah, I mean
you're supposed to rat them until the wheels come off.
How you're going to be at three oh six six
oh six in some places and your wheels is already off? Yeah,
that means the car is going nowhere or it's just
a sparking up, sparking it.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Up, not to get off on a complete tangent like
we already have so far.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Did you guys see the whole there is, like it
was floating around the internet.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
They basically divided up the country and districts kind of like, uh,
I don't know whatever that movie is, Mocking j or
whatever it is.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
You know what I'm talking about, Mocking Jay. No, I
forget what It's called Hunger Games.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
So I'm gonna send it to you now.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
But they divided up the country and they were like
trying to side who would have any shot, and the
consensus was District three.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
Would essentially win. So I just said it to you.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
But I got a good laugh out of it because
I'm looking at some of these the group bigs of
states put together in the United States, and I'm like, ah, yeah,
District two would struggle District four.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
I mean outside of Chicago, I'm not sure they're doing much.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
You know, District one obviously encompasses Cali, but outside of that, there's.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Not a ton of help.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
I mean, anyway, there's it's it's pretty funny to go through.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
I mean, District one would get destroyed.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
District one wouldn't even I mean they would that would
be like the consensus, They'll be picking number one overall.
In the District two District two would would be okay
because of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
And Alaska.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Oh yeah, there they are.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
I mean Jonas District one does have Hawaii.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, that's true. We got a little fight.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Yeah, there's a little fight.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
And you know, LeVar was in New Mexico. He spent time.
They chase aliens for a living, So I mean they're gonna.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
They have a whole parade all week. District three, though,
district it's just a lot. That's a lot of them though.
And all the South, that's a lot of them. That's
like a civil war. That's he created a civil war
with district you know, District three looks like it looks
like the conference. It said, Oh, COVID's going on.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Sweet, we're gonna have games and we're gonna have fans
in our stadiums.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
I've got a buddy who's from Jersey. I got a
buddy who's from Jersey, and he's trying to like, he
was like, don't sleep on District five. He's like, you
got New York. And he's like, then you got like
the good states from the Midwest.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
I was like, whatever that I made, let's be clear here.
Pennsylvania Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee are no different than
them southerns Well, Tennessee is.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Not a part of it?

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Or what is what is Indiana?

Speaker 5 (08:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Oh Indiana, Yeah, not too include Indiana too. They're they're
no different than those Orange states. Yeah, the district three,
you're gonna have a clash and other titans. Now, hey,
y'all callin going on that water. We're gonna go ahead.
We're gonna go ahead. Knock good one Now we won't
get out there. We're gonna get it. Yeah. Wait, which

(09:20):
part which district are you from? Is it three or
is it five?

Speaker 5 (09:26):
There's a lot of friendly fire, saying.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
There's gonna be a lot of friendly fire, cousin to
cousin's sister the brother, Damn, I'll go to d oh.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
This is This is the funny thing about this, Matt though,
is I wanted to send it to Petros and just say, yeah,
this is why no one gives you guys a shot
on the West Coast, because they just go yep. In
a hunger game scenario, people just roll with three or five.
Think those are only two districts people give any credit to.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
They just completely Why did they give District one the brightest.
What it's such a bright yellow when you get Jonas,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
I just listen. Don't blame me.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
It's such a soft color, man, it is.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
It's a happy color. It's certainly wonder where, like everyone
should be happy.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
There's no conflict connected to that.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
It's just hanging out having a good time.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Curry's on you, That's what I'm talking about. Man, Lee
has no chance in mocking Bird, White Night, White Girl.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Curry is even me.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Lee's out of there. He'd be the first one out
of there. Bang, Lee's out of there soon as the
movie starts. You know, if you know he'd be he.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
Would be one of those first soldiers taken out in
the Patriot that.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
He be laying here on the battle beelt like, oh man, Yeah,
he doesn't make the opening scene.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
He's just a dead body.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Like I'm talking about, Hey, can I get like a
tourniquit or something?

Speaker 11 (10:59):
Man?

Speaker 5 (11:00):
Amen?

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Amen, that's my arm over there? Man, can somebody give
it back to me?

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Oh? Man?

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Is that my foot?

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Oh wow?

Speaker 1 (11:23):
District three or five, they'd be like, hey, look at
that while over there landing on on gown. Now right now,
what is something wrong with that boy right in here.
Don't want to win. Get in my bad here him
on one one that cave and crawl in. How many
young one come me? The only way. You're down the
district too. You done on the wrong team, now, boy,

(11:45):
you done stumbled crowd. Don't stumble the crowd the wrong line.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
You don'ne belong to that yellow group over there.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Ye see them stitch, but the yellow that's you. Boy,
the old boy sounds like you're from Louisiana there, yeah,
I mean, but it's a couple levelm that sounds kind
of the same. Hell out. Yeah, West Virginia's part of it.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Who's the guy?

Speaker 1 (12:20):
We'll go there and what eleven days? Ten days?

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Oh god, he got drafted by Is it the Panthers?

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Yeah, so Bryce Young.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
They can't understand him.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
He's like, man like, I really have to like get
close to you. Super interesting guy, like really nice guy,
but literally cannot understand the accent.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
That brother's Dudes from all over that that are like that.
You be sitting there listening and you be shaking your
head like yeah yeah. Then you get to the point
of where you're like, dude, what the f were you saying,
brou what what the f are you saying? Go slower,
go slower?

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (13:05):
I had a friend from Manchester. He literally just left
because we could not understand him.

Speaker 5 (13:11):
What do you mean left?

Speaker 9 (13:13):
We we could we We kept on asking him, like
say again, He just say again up and left again again?

Speaker 8 (13:21):
What ah m hm.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
The water boy goal he got gown.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Wait I uh, I thought, sure I did that.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
But it's temporary, so you know, you get it's already
plausible deniability in that crewle top there dad, that casion top?
Hey what what? Oh my god? Did you hear that?

Speaker 2 (14:10):
No?

Speaker 1 (14:11):
But what do you say? Can you say that on
the air?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Okay, No, I cannot.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Why do you say just to LeVar?

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Oh you already said white Cowry.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
I'm going home. Yeah, I'm like Lee, it's right from Manchester.
I'm like carbon out from South Park. I'm going it
is pros going on on the TV.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
I know you guys are watching weird stuff this morning.
We got infomercials and we got two people sharing a
bed and a weird oh my good word spot. So
there's that, and it's the super blue moon is still
out there.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
That's what's going on with your game is the grab. No,
don't do that. Do not do that until twenty thirty seven.
Can you see it again?

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Is hell outside?

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (14:57):
It's great?

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Is that why I felt so awake? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (15:00):
That's bright man. Oh yeah, that's super moon for those
of you on the East coast. Sorry tough balls, you
gotta wait till twenty thirty seven probably to see it again.
But it is what it is. Two pros and a
couple here Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
District five, Baby, don't play District one. Rise up?

Speaker 4 (15:18):
You get I do appreciate though, how Var has switched
back to his roots to go back to District five
District one.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
I'm not I'm not claiming District one. I'm not claiming
District one at all. We need all the help we
can get District one. They would be like, yeah, I'm
from District five, from District three. Lee, if you're KF cass.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
Send it out on on X, send it out.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
So everybody understands District three has an unfair advantage. They
have the most states, Like they don't have California. Is
that the unfair advantage? No, they just have way more
fighting states. Yeah, I wonder.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
Whoever did this, how they divided up it was based
on population.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
They could have at least gave District five like Kentucky
and Carolina, like I said.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
Has Chicago.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
But outside of that they should have given them probably
like Kansas City, Missouri.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
I will say, though those New England states up there though,
they get it in too, just in a different way,
you know, the.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
New York.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Yeah, like they will get it in now. Yeah they are.
They are some beer knucklers. Now they some tooth chippers,
definitely are. I partied in Boston before I thought Harvard
was going to be civilized. Man, I was dating to
check that with the Harvard I thought it was going

(16:42):
to be civilized. They are crazy. They're very crazy. Like
where am I at right now? I love it? This
is good. Just throw ahead, butt me at my teeth please.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
We are going to have the usuals coming up later on.

I'll say this, I don't know if we're ever gonna
win an award, but most immature sports talk show in
the country right here, right here, LeVar just got his
walkie talkie from Rappid Radios. I sit, we're sitting next
to each other and we're all communicating via radio. Man,
so much fun, man.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
It's what was being said, so much fun. Oh man,
you got radio.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Everybody's got of everybody's got a name.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
Now I'm black Squirrel. Yeah, and uh that's my that's
my handle, Black Squirrel. Hey, Larina, you are funny. You
are so so funny. Hey, it's not our too yet.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Why are you playing Brady's intro?

Speaker 1 (19:03):
So?

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Oh no, no, Al about a second.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
Did you feel like that was a good dig? Jonas?
Was that? Like? Is that all you got?

Speaker 1 (19:17):
It's oh, you take that.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
The worst part is is no I said something to
Rayna during one of the breaks maybe before.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
Yeah, she did, and she's like, oh, they gave me
the idea for a song.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
I was like, oh no, well there was. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
She's a terrible influence on the show.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
He can raining on a man.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Yeah, it's a good point. Yeah right, two pros and
a cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio. By the way,
we will have another edition of in case you missed
it coming up here in about twenty minutes from now.
And apparently somebody's in the mood to make a really
big purchase in the world of sports. We'll get into
that for you again. Twenty minutes from now, Tua Tagovailoa

(19:58):
was talking with Dan lev Gaitard and Crew the Dan
Levatard Show with Stu Gotts, and the conversation about his
former head coach, Brian Flores came up and the differences
between Brian Flores and Mike McDaniel, his new head coach,
and it sounded a little something.

Speaker 13 (20:13):
Like this, to put it in simplest terms, if you
woke up every morning and I told you you sucked
at what you did, that you don't belong doing what
you do, that you shouldn't be here, that this guy
should be here, that you haven't earned this right. And

(20:34):
then you have somebody else come in and tell you, dude,
you are the best fit for this, like you are accurate,
you are the best whatever you are, this you are that.
How would it make you feel listening to one or
the other. And then you hear it. You hear it
regardless of what it is, the good or the bad,
and you hear it more and more you start to

(20:54):
actually believe that I don't care who you are, you
could be the president of the United States. You have
a terrible well person that's telling you things that you
you don't want to hear or that you probably shouldn't
be hearing. You're gonna start to believe that about yourself.
And it was basically been what two years of training
that out of not just me, but you know a

(21:16):
couple of the guys as well that have been here
since my rookie year all the way to now.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Yeah, so there's your breakdown of Brian Flores ten year
with the Dolphins. And I can remember when we were
doing shows on Sunday nights and I remember Brady and
I having conversations about why does why does Brian Flores
keep taking two out of games? One game in particular
was a game at Denver, like in the fourth quarter.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
He was a rookie year, remember that.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Ryan Fitzpatrick was the backup quarterback, and it was like
he did it. Then he did it again against the
Raiders later in the season, and it was like, well,
don't you want him to go through those growing pains
as a rookie. But it did feel like Flores just
never had faith in the guy and to see what
he's become now now under Mike McDaniel not not a
great sign for Brian Flores there do you want it?

Speaker 4 (22:06):
I think the other part of this is, I'll just
say the other part of this is the statistical progression.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
And how much better he's got under Mike McDaniel. But
even back.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
Then, I mean, think about what he came into the NFL,
what it was during. It was during COVID, so there
was more restrictions on what they were able to do
in the offseason. Do you guys remember who the offensive
coordator was that year.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
They brought in Chan Gaily.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
Chan Gaily was retired at the time before he came
back out to install an offense that was really built.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
For Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
Ryan Fitzpatrick had had a bunch of experience playing for
chan Gaily back with the Buffalo Bills, So that was
more of the thought to the offense, the system, how
it was going to work in a time when Tua
gets drafted and he can't really be as involved as
you are now, you know, post COVID or pre COVID,
what ever you want to phrase it. If you looked
at their offensive line play over the next two years,

(23:04):
his first two years, it was atrocious for Miami.

Speaker 5 (23:09):
I mean, if we're being honest, it's.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Improved, but that's probably still a weak point on their roster,
and so they didn't have a running game.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
He wasn't being protected, you.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
Know, early on in twenty twenty, I think DeVante Parker
was this number one wide receiver. You know, their receivers
had a hard time getting separation that had issues with drops.
I mean, it was a recipe for disaster. And he
still did okay to a degree, But to your point,
it felt like Brian Flores was looking for any opportunity

(23:39):
to get the younger player out, which was a bit
interesting only because it's like you were there as the
head coach when you drafted the guy, you know, like
how I mean, either you're trying to foil the entire
plan altogether for Chris Greer, you know, or you just
have zero faith in him. Either way, you know, it
seemed like this is been the perfect scenario for two

(24:02):
or for Mike McDaniel to come in and install an
offense and surrounded with personnel that plays to his strengths,
and you now see what Miami's capable of doing. And
maybe it sounds like a slap in the face of
Brian Flores, And look, Brian Flores comes from a different
you know background as far as you know his coaching style.

Speaker 5 (24:19):
You know, he's a hard r on players.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
You know, Tom Brady's talked a lot about, you know,
the motivation and you know, playing for Bill Belichick.

Speaker 5 (24:27):
It's it's not compliments. You know.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Look, I've played for a bunch of coaches that had
come from the Bill Belichick tree, and if they're not
telling you something, you're doing your job.

Speaker 5 (24:39):
When they're saying something to you, it's because they care.
But it's going to be in a negative event.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
It's constructive criticism, and that's where I feel like today's
athlete isn't as mentally prepared for that. You know, they
need to be told they're doing it right. They need
to be told they're doing well, you know, whereas back
then it was like, all right, if you don't hear
anything from him, you're doing your job.

Speaker 5 (24:59):
Like that that's all you needed.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
So it's changed a ton, I think as far as
the type of player it's coming into the league and
the type of coach that's needed for it. But even then,
like I don't necessarily look at how Brian for is
and only two. It really knows how the relationship was.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
I don't look at it as a big bad coaching.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
He just had a different style of it, and that
style obviously is tougher for today's athlete.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
That's where I fall on it, honestly, like I think
that in today's society, we get so caught up into
the I guess, the wow factor when somebody says something
like that. We also make people who are you know.
I want to be careful in how I say this,

(25:42):
but the victim card is very It's running rampant in
our society right now, and people jump all over the
victim card. When he said what he said, I heard
so many people say so many things and so many
derogatory things about about Floras as a person and as

(26:03):
a coach. Tua came into the league in twenty twenty correct.
He's only been one game better since since he since
Flores has not been the head coach there. His rookie year,
they won ten games. They won ten games. I think
to Will played ten games. They won ten games that year.

(26:26):
Two has only won eleven games. His highest win total
has been eleven under Michael, under Mike Daniel Daniels, Daniel
mich McDaniel. Mike McDaniel, there we go. His his interceptions
were at its highest last year. It was only five

(26:46):
interceptions his rookie year. Now, granted he didn't throw as much,
he didn't play as much, but the ball seemingly was
being protected more his rookie year now for a ton
of yards and twenty three time he threw four a
ton of yards and in twenty three. But the one

(27:09):
statistic that really jumped out at me was he's never
broke seventy percent. And in his completion accuracy and in
his completion percentage, he's never broken He was close last year,
he never He's never broken out. He's never jumped out
of sixty percent. So when you really look at it
his yards and passing, yes, it's going up. But if

(27:32):
I'm if I'm looking at this from a sensible standpoint,
I don't think it's if he's able to some way,
somehow stay on the field.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
Got hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.

Speaker 8 (27:43):
Sure.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
I'm just saying, first off, a completion percentage at sixty
nine percent is really really good.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
The NFL record at one point it's like seventy.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
It's got a little over that now, but you're talking
about like for a season, I mean, for five hundred
and sixty attempts, that's damn near the best.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
Probably if you go back and look at it last year.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
But they're all comparable, that's all three, they're all comparable.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
Not really, not really, He's the only The only reason
I said is because you're trying.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
To well, I am, I'm not trying. I am comparing.
I am, I'm not trying. I'm comparing his performances other
than make point total, Bro.

Speaker 5 (28:28):
You're not even making sense of it.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
He started to forty six years old, that makes sense.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
He started nine games in twenty twenty.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
It didn't win all time, makes sense. I'm telling you
his his comparables, His comparables are comparable. But there it's
his career and I'm looking at it from day one
to day now. And to say, just based off of
his yardage, you could say his yardage is vastly different.

(28:56):
Other than that, there are nothing, there's nothing that you
could sit there and say that his progression would have
been any differently, any different in terms of what he's accomplished. Two,
what are you accomplished on day one? There's no correlation
that says to me, the way he was being coached
day one would be any different than what it was

(29:16):
if Flores was still to hate coach because as a rookie.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
As a rookie, so God, sure got so so let
me just go over the stats so we're accurate and
we're not just throwing out numbers.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Yeah, okay, accurately started.

Speaker 4 (29:30):
Nine games this rookie year he was there was six
and three in those games. So you talked about them
being a ten win team, right, that's correct. The next
year he went seven and five as a starter. Now,
so even in both those cases, neither of which he's
fully accountable for the wins that you marked for Brian
Flores of that Dolphins team.

Speaker 5 (29:49):
Okay, so that's the first part.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Explain he was throwing and.

Speaker 5 (29:54):
Eighty one year.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Expand on that, what do you mean he's not start all.

Speaker 5 (29:58):
The games those two seasons? Right?

Speaker 4 (30:01):
So if he only if if let's see, God, just
why don't you let me finish?

Speaker 1 (30:07):
Let the numbers out to you like to jump into
I'm an jump point to make a point go ahead you.

Speaker 5 (30:17):
Well, here's okay, let's just pull back the full curtain.

Speaker 4 (30:20):
I'm on a Lucy app LeVar so I'm on a delay, so.

Speaker 5 (30:24):
It's gonna be a little.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
Bit difficult if if the back and forth and all that. So, so,
can you give me a second to give you all
the stats, then you can discern whatever you want.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
You okay, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
You do the saying when I come in, though, when
I respond to you, you do the.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
Same because you Okay, So they won ten games and
Brian Floor is one of the first two years.

Speaker 5 (30:46):
Correct.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
Okay, he didn't start all those games they won. So
if you're trying to say, well, he's only gotten to
eleven wins or whatever with with Mike, well, yeah, that's
a lot more than they had. The most he's ever
had as a starting quarterback under Flores was seven. Okay.
He was throwing for his rookie year one hundred and
eighty one yards per game. He's now throwing for two

(31:09):
hundred and seventy two. So that's a significant increase. His
completion percentage to jump five percent, which you might say,
well that is not seventy percent, but sixty nine percent
from sixty four percent, and when you're throwing the ball
almost double because of the amount of starts and attempts,
that is significant much of everything he did last year

(31:30):
was was a significant jump. And of course, like you're
gonna throw more interceptions as you throw more pass attempts.
So for example, like that number has actually been rather consistent.
There's a thing called interception percent is right, and that's
like what percentage of interceptions per throw, So that number
has pretty been actually down down below his second year

(31:51):
when he was at two point six percent of his
passes were intercepted.

Speaker 5 (31:54):
Last year is a two point five year before two
point owner McDaniel.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
So I'm just saying from statistical standpoint, there's a strong
argument to be made that the system, the play calling,
the personnel, everything.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Around him has been improved.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
And so I don't know that you can just put
it on Brian Flores, but at least statistically speaking, like
it is undeniable the way he's jumped from where he
was his rookie year is second year into years three
and four now. But but again, like you can't just
contribute to one thing. It's always a number of things.
But that's all painting out the picture.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
And I'm not I get that, and I'm not I'm
not trying to defend Brian Floyd as all I'm saying
is is there's there are two sides to every story,
and and for what it's worth, for what it's worth,
is there. I don't know the seasons per se exactly
how they played out, whether it was injury that he
didn't play or whether he was taken out. I just

(32:53):
know he was being he was being substituted for what
what was it? Fitzpatrick was his Yeah, during that time,
I know that he was being subbed in and out.
So as far as the wins and the losses are concerned,
I'm not certain that because Brian Florez as a coach
felt as though, which I know for a fact, I mean,

(33:14):
I think we would all know that if Brian Flooraz
is taking two out and putting Ryan Fitzpatrick in is
because he feels like Ryan Fitzpatrick is giving them a
better opportunity to win than what two ways. That's how
I interpret that. Now, whatever comes of that is what
comes of that. But they have yet to finish with
a better ranking than what they finished when Brian floor

(33:37):
As was the head coach. Now they made it to
the playoffs and have lost in the first round every
time that they've made it into the playoffs. But with
that being said, they've never won a division and maybe
we think they're in a better position than what they
were with Brian Floors. That's fine. I don't I don't
care to debate it. It doesn't matter. All I'm saying
is is that to sit there and say like this

(33:59):
is a horrible This guy told me I'm not this,
and you're gonna believe that. And other guys from my
class feel the same exact way. I do. Come from
an old school way of coaching. Be around Bill O'Brien
and I've never been around him as a coach, but
I've heard about it. I've been around guys like Ray Rhodes,
I've been around guys like Greg Williams, Dale Lindsey. Be

(34:20):
around some of these coaches. Believe you me. If you're
saying they called you this and said this and that
to you, Bro, your skin is way too thin. Is
that's football coach, at least as I know it. That's
always been football culture to talk crazy so much to
the tune where one time I told Dale Lindsey that

(34:43):
man has a name and served our country. He served
our country and has made the team, and you're calling
him dumb mother effort, and that's what you're referencing him
as every single time you address him. That man has
a name. All I'm saying is is that maybe it's

(35:03):
just a tad bit overstated to sit there and act
as though that this is some crazy revelation that that
Michael McDaniel is is this way way out better coach
than what Brian Flores was for that Dolphins team.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
But is it fair to say, though, that one of
the main priorities as a head coach in the NFL
is if your team drafts a quarterback in the top
five and he's the franchise guy.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
It wasn't the debate. Wasn't the debate there that that
maybe Flores didn't even want to draft him. Wasn't there
a debate there on that it could have been?

Speaker 2 (35:36):
But they drafted him, and so his job was to
get the most out of him. And you can't argue
with the fact that Tua is by far and away
a better quarterback.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Who's to say that that didn't under being the type
of quarterback that he is under.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
But the hard coaching Bella he was under Saban. Saban's
a hard coach, so he's a hard ass coach. So
I don't know if it's that. I just think Flores
wasn't a fan of Tua, and clearly it's all loved
the interpretation. I don't disagree with him not being a
fan of two it. I mean, I don't I don't
disagree with that.

Speaker 4 (36:07):
The one thing where I can assure you to what
would have never got to this point with Brian Flores's
Brian Flores never left him in the game, so.

Speaker 5 (36:16):
Actually stay in the game.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
I don't disagree with that story. That's all I'm saying.
It's two sads there, like he's coming out like this
dude was like the most horrible dude ever to what
what the situation is. I mean that sounds like par
for the course for a lot of coaches that I've
been around.

Speaker 4 (36:35):
The tough thing too, about the Saban comparesoncas. Saban obviously
was a tough coach on his players. Every player will
tell you that. But Tua came in as a freshman
and threw a pass to win a national championship. You
have to remember how all that went down to when
he when he got the Aaron you know, comes comes
in and throws that dime up the left sideline.

Speaker 5 (36:55):
I believe it was to be Georgia, right.

Speaker 4 (36:58):
I mean that's the sort of you know, that's the
sort of play that kind of at that point, Like,
I don't know if you are for a defensive line
of coach, if you are a hard coach, you're probably like, well,
this dude helped me win a national championship, dropping a
dime on one of the biggest stages ever as a freshman, Like,
you're probably gonna beat him.

Speaker 5 (37:15):
The benefit of doubt.

Speaker 4 (37:15):
The coaching style, even if it's hard, it might be
a little different from that point.

Speaker 2 (37:19):

And now he's going to go go this direction potentially
with the Celtics.

Speaker 9 (40:15):

possibly Mexico City.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
The NBA is going to Mexico City.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
What they say, no city?

Speaker 5 (40:28):
Why not focus on other cities in the US.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
Hey, that's a problem.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
Hey pal, all right, what's the direct shot at the
in laws?

Speaker 1 (40:37):
A lot of baby mamas?

Speaker 4 (40:39):
Oh, I'm sorry I prioritized America for Mexico.

Speaker 1 (40:44):
He's in Mexico, part of the California region.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
On the Hunger Games map, you have.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
