to get out of here. I don't know the immediately.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I don't know that being judgmental this early in the
show is the right path we want to take here.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
You know, I'm just telling you how it makes me feel.
All right, I feel like the room's spinning right now.
I need to go outside and throw up tang.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Well, listen, all I know is this is while everyone
else is going to be fixated on the damn music

Speaker 1 (02:26):
You guys aren't fired up?

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Fine, what do you guys gonna do?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Breakdown?

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Let's watch it on the cock.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
I mean breakdown w started for some of us, Jonas,
you know, Oh.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Well, yeah, I get it. But this is the NFL,
all right.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
There are some.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
People you feel like more of an NFL guy. See,
I like, I like all of it. So it's kind
of already started. It almost feels like they're a little
late to the party, to be honest, what's that supposed
to mean?

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Like, you know, hey, it's started. Why were you a
part of it? Well, I was a part of it.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Not even the NFL, like the NFL.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Because they need their own stage.

Speaker 6 (03:00):
Why you take us so personal, Jonas, because he's more
I'm more of an NFL guy, more of an NFL gay.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Damn right, yes I am. I'm proud to say it.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
And the NFL's back later on tonight, and if you
guys aren't excited about it, we can break down the
w NBA All Star snubs in our fourth if that's
going to make you feel good, Olympics sick of this crap?
How are we feeling about tonight's game? We got case
a three point favorite courtesy of our friends at Draft Kings.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Right now, take the points in Baltimore.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Really, there is no one better against the spread in
opening games than Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Even though his history with Kansas City is and all that.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
There is no one better than good in opening games
against the spread than Lamar Jackson. I want to say,
is he nine and one or something like that? I
don't know how long has he been playing?

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Now?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Four years twenty eighteen, four years twenty eighteen, so he's
going to do what year seven?

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Yeah? Seven? Dang, he's been in that long.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
So I saw a stat the other.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Day contract that is right.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
I think it's maybe as an underdog or something like that.
I'm telling you somewhere I saw he was like nine in.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
One against the spread.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
I mean, I look at it and I go.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
He's been in the Super Bowl.

Speaker 6 (04:17):
I mean, he's been in the league that long and
hasn't played in the Super Bowl and is a two
time MVP.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Wow. Yeah, I didn't know it was.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
That long that twenty eighteen draft class.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Geesh, who was he with?

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Baker Mayfield went one that it was you had Sam Darnold,
Josh Rosen, Josh Allen.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Am I missing anybody?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I think that was the entire first round so and
kind of mixed for mixed results for everybody. I didn't
even is Josh Rosen in the league anymore? I don't
think he is. I think he got.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
Incredibly that the Arizona Cardinal quarterback Yeah, for like one year.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Yeah, and then he went to Miami and he just
he got dealt a bag of crap, to be honest.
But nonetheless, the season is off and running later on tonight.
I like Kansas City. I think Kansas City is going
to bounce back. Last year they lost that opener to Detroit,
and I think this is an opportunity for Kansas City

(05:21):
to let everybody know I'm down on Baltimore this year.
I don't want to spoil the picks that we're going
to be given out later on in the show.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
I'm down on Baltimore. This year.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I think Kansas City wins three fields just about right
as far as the number goes. The thing I'm most
excited for from a Baltimore standpoint, I just want to
see Derek Henry in the backfield. I just want to
see how that looks.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
I definitely want to see that and that will be
exciting to see. And how are they going to game
plan with Henry and Jackson in the backfield? You have
to play eleven on eleven against Baltimore Rags on eleven football,
And the question is.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Is there any other way to play football?

Speaker 6 (06:05):
I mean, is there ever arresting? Because the rest of
y'all quarterbacks don't count. We don't count y'all as a
player that we have to cover.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Well, that's like linebackers and coverage. We look for mismatch.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
I don't do that, no, because when you shoot insults,
you got to shoot insults back. So I shot an insult,
so he shot one back. And that's just how we
look at it. I mean, he knows that. And I
look at and defensive coordinators look at non running quarterbacks
as a non factor to have to cover for cover
off four. So that's not eleven on eleven that is

(06:40):
eleven on ten.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
The funny thing about that, though, is that is when
teams play cover five, that's what we call that right
two d you know, men under that's when the guys
like who can't run, like LeVar Sang literally go all right,
I'm gonna take off on a walk living I'm gonna
walk ten yards because no one's covering me.

Speaker 7 (07:00):
Like.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
That's the funniest thing.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
About like defensive coverages and calls all that is, it's
not that they can't run. They're just waiting for the
opportunity where it's so wide open they can run the
needed distance to go get the first down. And it's
usually in moments like that when no one accounts.

Speaker 6 (07:18):
For though that's I mean, I don't disagree with that.
In theory, the defensive front should be able to account
for the non mobile quarterback in theory. But in some
cases they get spread out, they get widened out, something happens,
a gap is open that quarterback season he's like, huh,

(07:39):
that guy, that linebacker is at least fifteen yards away, Like,
let's see if I can run a six flat forty
you know, ten yards, fifteen yards, twenty yards. It works
out sometimes, but not with Lamar Jackson and hit Scratch,

(08:01):
really not with Patrick Mahomes. I think Patrick Mahomes got
away for a minute where.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Cats were like, is he really that good at running?

Speaker 8 (08:12):
Like?

Speaker 5 (08:13):
Why is he so good at running? Wait?

Speaker 6 (08:16):
Is Patrick Mahomes running away from me? I think that
was the case for a moment there. I think people
did not want to accept on defense that is that
Patrick Mahomes is actually a really really good running quarterback.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Uh looked at as as something you wouldn't want on
your resume being outrun by Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
It's a good athlete.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
I mean at this point, I think guys realize if
he's healthy, he can run. He can run. Now he's
a pass first quarterback in my estimation, but he nonetheless
he can run, and that that stresses defenses, That stresses
them out. Not only can he run, but he's now

(08:59):
creating this new way in this new style, which I
don't really think is new. I mean, I've seen guys
like Brett Favre and different guys who will throw across
their bodies and do like outlandish weirds while they're out
there on the field and just throw it anywhere. But
he's been very successful doing it. I've never seen it
behind the back pass by a quarterback until him. So

(09:24):
you know, I think it's as exciting an opening game
as you could possibly slate up to put out there.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
And I love it. Taylor can't wait. What's gonna be there?

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Right?

Speaker 5 (09:36):
I think so right?

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Very much like Jonas, I'm down on Baltimore in the
sense of what I think their season could be. But
I don't know, man, something tells me, you know, this
matchup week one always a big challenge. I'm high in
the Chiefs. I have them being the number one overall
seed when it's all said and done. But but I

(09:59):
don't know that it all comes together week one for
I don't know. I'm a little iffy about this one.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Twelve and four is the record of John Harbo, the
Ravens head coach in week one as a Baltimore raven coach.
They've also won seven of their last eight openers. And
that's what it was, seven and one. Yeah, he's something
like that. He spoke about the emotions heading into this game.

Speaker 8 (10:22):
It's an emotional game, it's an emotional sport. It's an
emotional life, is it. I mean, the things that you
have in your life that you care about are important
to you, and you want to do well and you
want to be successful. Those are all things that matter
to all of us, you know, so no different for
our guys. So you know, we talked about the things
that you know, we need to do in terms of
being successful. That's what we talk about with the guys

(10:42):
all time.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Do you think they're carrying a little bit of a
red ass to based on how last season went, because man,
everything was lined up for him. They had a home game,
they were like a four point favorite at home in
that AFC title game, and they just melted down like
it was the worst game they played all season long,
and at the worst time, pople Zave Flowers had a
mental breakdown the fumble at the end zone. Like I

(11:05):
just wonder what their thought process is going into this game,
Like maybe they run it up on them, maybe they
just get maybe they go out there and want to
make a statement right away. But I just find it
hard to believe that that Casey two years in a
row is going to cough one up at home. I
don't know, could be wrong, probably am, but I will
take Casey as a three point favorite in this one.

(11:26):
So we're gonna draw a line in the sand. Brady's
got Baltimore, I got Kansas City.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
I said, I have Baltimore on the points and say
I had them winning.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
Three feels like the right number though, correct?

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Yeah, I mean some people if you feel good about it, Lette, otherwise,
some people would like it be at.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Two and a half. Who you got bar?

Speaker 4 (11:43):
How are you feeling on this one?

Speaker 6 (11:45):
It's interesting because you got Aguilar, you got Bateman, you
got Andrew's back up. I think it creates matchup issues
for that that Kansas City defense. But I just feel
as though when you look at this team that Patrick

(12:09):
Mahomes is on, I think this is a talented team
and can can adafe you know, can Oway and company.
Can those guys actually make Patrick Mahomes so uncomfortable in
week one that they have an opportunity to win this game?

(12:33):
Can they control the game on the ground with Lamar
and Derek Hemery in the backfield with that passing attack? So,
I mean, I'm looking at this one and I break
it down from the standpoint of thinking, can Kansas City
stop the run and force Lamar? I know it sounds crazy,
but force Lamar Jackson to win the game in the

(12:54):
air and and can the Baltimore You know why, because
I believe Lamar Jackson can throw. I believe Lamar Jackson
as a passing quarterback. A lot of people think that
if you force them to have to throw, that you
got a better chance of winning. I don't necessarily subscribe
to that, but I do believe that combination is pretty

(13:18):
lethal if you have two guys that can extend drives
longer than if you have a big strike quarterback, somebody
who can move the ball down the field through the air.
So and it limits the other team's opportunities. They say,
the best defense for a guy like Brady Quinn or
a Patrick Mahomes is to keep their ashes on the sideline,

(13:41):
the best defense you could ever have. And so I
think with that being said, yeah, can they get Can
they get Lamar and Derek off the field and keep
Patrick Mahomes on the field. The more opportunities he gets,
the better chances they have the win. I think they
have a more impressive offense this year than what they've had,

(14:04):
and so I look for the Kansas City Chiefs to actually,
you know, win the game.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
Out right, all right? So there we go.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
There are the the picks. So Levar's got Chiefs money line.
I'll take the points, Brady will take the points in
the Baltimore side, and we are off and running weekly.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
You'll lay the points, the point, lay the points. Shout us.
I mean what you said, you'll take the points, lay
them real.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Y, I'm taking Kansas City minus three.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Okay, you're laying the points, Jesus, like you know what
I mean.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Okay, I'm taking Kansas City minus three.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
It's been clear. I'm just making sure it's not confusing.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
No, there is no.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
There is no confusion here. Let me tell you something.
Chiefs are gonna win, and they're gonna win by more
than three, and you can take that to the bank.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
He just messed up my pick.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Who did you know?

Speaker 2 (14:56):
You got them on the money line. That's fine, that's
probably the smarter place.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
The exact same thing that I say. You said that
they're going to win and they're going to cover the points. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (15:06):
Well, look, which is strange because aren't they being given
three points?

Speaker 4 (15:11):
No, the Chiefs are a three point fire.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
The Chiefs are at three points. Okay, okay, got it.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Yeah, So which is they're probably they're going to cover. Yeah,
and that's what I So.

Speaker 6 (15:20):
That's now not money line right, corrects. Now, they're going
to win money line. They're going to cover they went
out right. Yeah, yeah, they're going to win out right,
but they're going to cover that three points to more
than three.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Well, I mean, I do know this.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
We are going to give our outright winners for the season.
So we've got every pick from each division. We've got
playoff predictions, we've got a Super Bowl pick. We're going
to have Albert Breer stop by. We've got another edition

sorts of stuff locked and loaders. We get you set

minutes from now from the ti rack dot com studios.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
There's an organization in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
They had thought that they were pasted all the drama, pasted,
all the crap, passed all the noise.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Apparently not.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
We will have the details on that for you again,
coming up here in about twenty minutes from now. So
it is the kickoff of the NFL season coming up
later on tonight. Some people a little more excited on
this show about it than others, which is disappointing, really disappointing.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
All right, I thought it was a party.

Speaker 6 (17:18):
People are very excited. Bro, I thought we were all
people on this show are really excited. But the point
was made that you know, football has started for some
of us. That's all, yeah, that's all. Like, you don't
have to get so like sensitive.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
You don't have to be all yeah, you have to
be all like butting about it, and we could, we
could be excited for it.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
But like, that's correct, Football has already started for some
of us, is already started.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
This will acknowl I will acknowledge that that I am
a little sensitive to this, that this one I will
admit to.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Yeah, this is the NFL.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
That's because you're not You're not a college guy.

Speaker 5 (17:50):
What are you talking?

Speaker 1 (17:51):
I love college football?

Speaker 5 (17:52):
Eh, you only love USC Now he.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Likes and that's the other us other and they're actually
not very good this year. So he's not very hopeful
about any of that.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
Well then he could get used to that in the league. Damn.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
All right, So we are off and running here. Come on,
let's get off of Thursday.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
So let's get it.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Let's get it started here.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
We are going to make our season picks and our
preview of the NFL season.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
So, Brady Quinn, would.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
You like the honors to go first here to open
up the NFC as we look ahead to the National
Football Conference to get.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
Well, let's be a little more specific. Can we go
division by division? That's gonna be the case. I'm gonna
start off with the NFC North. This is the division
that actually had as the most parody of any of
the divisions in the NFC.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Now, I still think Detroit is on top. Took care
of business this offseason.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
No drama, guys getting extended like Almen Ross, Saint Brown, Pennay.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Sewell, Jerry Gop.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
You go through the list of players, they are ready
to rock and roll and try to get back to
an NFC championship game and back to his Super Bowl.
I've got them leading the NFC North going ten and
seven this season, with the Green Bay Packers just a game.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Behind at nine and eight.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
I know they Jordan loved to that nice contract, and
I know people feel like this Green Bay team is,
you know, maybe able to overtake Detroit. I still have
to see the offense consistently for seventeen games. Looked how
we saw them the second half of last season. People
tend to forget they struggled mightily early on the other

(19:31):
team I've got that's nine to eight in this division,
the Chicago Bears. That's right, baby, Caleb Williams bringing some fire,
bringing some creativity, some energy to an offense that just
seemed like it was straight up boring last year. Roma
Dunes as well, along with the other additions this team.
Obviously Dj Moore still the number one guy there, but

(19:51):
the defense had improved somewhe last season. I think Caleb
Williams addition to this offense makes them a contender for
the playoffs, but at nine and eight, they don't actually
make it in when it's all said done. And finally,
the Minnesota Vikings no Jajon McCarthy this year, it's gonna
be Sam Darnold taking over.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
I still have them going eight to nine. I mean
to say what you want.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Kevin O'connacha Dalla plays, Justin Jefferson is still part of
this roster. They do have talent at the skilled position players,
and Brian Flores puts together.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Defensive game plans to keep them competitive.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
But I've got Detroit leading it, Green Bay nine and eight,
Chicago at nine and eight, and then the Minnesota Vikings
at eight and nine.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Hmmm, well done, all right? So do you want to
do the entire NFC. You want to go division by division?
I mean, all take time.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
I think we should tell you've got my notes, you
see it all that I mean we have with the listeners.

Speaker 6 (20:39):
Don't take turns about division. Okay, I think we should
go that long. All right, all of them, let's just
knock them out. I won't go into as much obviously
commentary and what analyzing of it, but I will say this,
the Detroit Lines were a basically a drive away from
going to the super Bowl last year. If people may

(21:00):
remember and recall that you have budding stars in an
Aid and Aiden Hutchinson, who will be to me a
star Wars for quite some time. He's one of those
names that continue to bubble up. May even get to
a defensive MVP this season. I think he's that good.

(21:21):
Then you got to pay attention to Jamiir Gibbs as well.
I think he takes a major step if he stays healthy,
he can be one of the main attractions of excitement.
Could be one of those fantasy football league you know,
got catches, right. So I look at Detroit as the

(21:42):
team to beat. I think that they're kind of a
I think they're eleven twelve win team.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
I really do.

Speaker 6 (21:50):
I think they will go on over the over under
of wins. I think that's what said out ten and
a half.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
I believe.

Speaker 6 (21:59):
So I'm taking Detroit also to win the North, but
I think Green Bay is right there with him. As
Q mentioned, I think that that order is right. I
think Matt Lafleur has shown that he's more than just
a I was babysitting Aaron Rodgers coach. I think he's
shown that he also has the ability to develop a quarterback.

(22:21):
I'm curious about I keep saying it. I know people
might not look at it as very important, but I
do look at the departure of Aaron Jones as significant.
I know they're replaced them with Josh Jacobs. I like
Josh Jacob's game, but how does that fit into this
Matt Laflour offense. Now, in history, they have had running

(22:43):
backs that can get downhill, run east west, well north south.
I mean definitely can get downhill and do those things.
And Josh Jacobs is one of those types of backs.
But to me, the dynamic and multi multi faceted, multi
dimension have time for.

Speaker 5 (23:02):
All the divisions. Are we no that's why I thought
we should. I just I just realize that. Yeah. No,
So anyways, I definitely think Green Bay is going to
be second. You were actually but very quick.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
You're team to you haven't got to Chicago, and so.

Speaker 6 (23:20):
The Bears aren't really worth talking about. That's they'll be
a sub five hundred team. I think Caleb Williams is good.
I think they have good young talent on this team,
but I don't see them being a playoff team, and
I do not see them getting double digits and wins
like more like eight wins, maybe nine wins. And then
there's Minnesota. The departure of of Kirk Cousins, uh, the

(23:43):
injury of JJ McCarthy. I just think there's so many
question marks here with that team. I think they're also
a subpar team that goes under five hundred in this
season as well. So I think they finish up last,
and I think Chicago actually nudges Minnesota out for that
third spot.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
So I've got Detroit winning the division. They've got one
of the better rosters in the NFL. To Brady's point,
no real drama. Everybody gets paid and based on last
year and how it ended, a lot of question marks
about Dan Campbell, but I think they bounced back.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
I think they win that division, and.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
I've got Brady Chicago Bears finishing second in the NFC North.
I listen, I believe that they're on the right path.
I don't think they're good enough to win that division
as of yet, and I've got them beating out and
narrowly beating out for second place in the NFC North,
the Green Bay Packers. Everybody's high on Jordan Love. Everybody
loves how the season ended, but it wasn't like he

(24:41):
was lighting the league on fire and they were running
away with everything. They needed some help they needed to
win in the final week of the season before they
laid waste to the Cowboys in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
There's a lot of optimism there, but I'm gonna go
out on a limit.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Say the Bears over the Packers for the second place
spot in the NFC North, and then I've got the
Vikings finishing last. I just think the decision to move
on from Kirk Cousins starting off the year. I hope
it works out well for Sam Darnold. I'm just not optimistic.
Justin Jefferson got paid. This feels like a I don't
want to say a throwaway year, but you kind of

(25:14):
hope for the best but realize worst case scenario, you struggle.
You've identified your franchise quarterback in McCarthy, and then you've
got a high draft pick next year.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
Love it.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
I love the fact too.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
That lead A lab our executive producer here at Fox
Sports Radio just set us our two thousand and three
predictions for the NFL so twenty one years ago, LeVar
and Jonas. I'm not sure, but apparently this is the
selections that was paid. You gotta love a little typo
here and there from one.

Speaker 11 (25:44):
Well, if you read the headline, it was you know,
so we go by the same format of last year.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
That's all that's correct. Yes, we're not really doing that,
it doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
So moving on to the NFC East, I've got the
Philadelphia Eagles not only winning the DIBs but being the
number one overall seed. Bounce back year, new coordinators Vic
Fangio on defense, Keller More on offense. They also took
care of business in the offseason. They got a we
are in Jahad Dotson. That adds to that ridiculous receiving

(26:14):
corps to go along with already we are sakuon Barkley.
So I've got Philly going fourteen and three, running away
with the division, that a one overall seed in the NFC,
Dallas going nine to eight. I think they're a talented team.
They'll win a fair amount of football games. That'll be
enough to get him in the playoffs. Washington third Jade
Daniels giving this this team a lyft, but it's year

(26:36):
one under Dan Quinn. Still some pieces that're bringing together.
They go eight to nine, and the New York Giants
at five and twelve. I just I feel like the
roster's not where it needs to be yet. If Daniel
Jones struggles, who knows how this team is viewed and
what they end up doing at the quarterback spot with
Drew Locke. There so a lot of questions I think

(26:57):
around the Giants if they don't get off to a
fast start this season.

Speaker 6 (27:01):
You know I'm going to piggyback off of that and
say I agree with the question marks with the Giants,
but I think they're going to have more wins in
the end than the Washington Commanders. I do believe that.
And another Bowl prediction so I don't go too long,
is even with some of the key departures like Tyron

(27:22):
Smith and really in a way Tony Pollard. Tony Pollard
I believe is a big uh substraction, sub subtraction to
this this this roster. So but even with that being said,
I think Dak Prescott has one of his finest seasons
because of everything that's going on. I think the same

(27:43):
for Ceedee Lamb, and I think the same for Michael
Parsons and company. On the defense side of the ball.
I got Dallas actually edging Philly out. There's question marks
between the relationship between head coach and quarterback. Where there's smoke.
Sometimes they're possibly maybe fire. I don't know that for certain,
but sometimes some things are too good to be true.

(28:05):
This is like that dream team they had when they
had Mike Vick and Vince Young and all them dudes
all on the same team, and they went and they
brought Amdia in from from the Raiders and they did
not live up to the expectations or the potential. I
feel like this has that reeking of it all over it,
even though I'm a big supporter, because of the guys

(28:27):
that they did bring in, I think they finished second
to the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
Yeah, I'm with you on the noise in Philadelphia between
Nick Sirianni and company there, the fact that he was
even on the hot seat is just odd to me.
Like if you look at his record, what he's done there.
They've been a playoff team every year. They were just
in a Super Bowl a couple of years ago. Things
ended poorly, But I'm gonna bank on the fact that
Howie Roseman has put together a hell of a roster.
They've got everything lined up this year. Maybe they learned

(28:54):
their lessons from the dysfunction to finish off last year.
When yet everybody like Davonte Smith saying we're not as
good as what our record is, We're not playing as well.
I'm going to ride Philly in this spot. I'll take them.
I'm not super confident with it, but I am confident
in the fact that the Dallas Cowboys will be second
in the Division. I've also got Dallas as a wild
card team coming out of the Division Washington Jaden Daniels.

(29:16):
There's a lot to like there, but I don't see
enough yet to want to put my faith in dan
Quinn company to try and bounce back and get this
team back into postseason contention, and then the Giants are
going to be one of the worst teams in the
league and then be on the lookout for Bill Belichick
and Josh McDaniels in.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
New York trying to take over the reins there.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Like it feels like this could be one and done
off season for Belichick and it could be the Giants.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
It's his next landing spot. So I think we're all
in agreement there, New York finishing last. Next up NFC South.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
Maybe I'm buying into the hype, but I've got Atlanta
winning the division at ten and seven with the addition
of Kirk Cousins, They've got a bunch of playmakers Drake London,
they added Darnell Mooney, we obviously know about Bejon Robinson,
even the running attack behind now with Tyler Aljier and
Jase McClellan, who they're a six round draft pick that
was a pretty big fan of coming out of Bama.

(30:04):
But this is a team to me that I think
defensively under Raheem Morris will be better too than enough
to win the NFC South. Tampa going nine and eight,
another team that kind of took care of business brought
their guys back. I think this keeps them competitive within
the division at nine and eight.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
New Orleans.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
I'm not really sure how to feel about New Orleans.
It doesn't feel like anyone's overly excited. There's a bunch
of hype about it. It feels like it's a year
where Derek Carr, if he doesn't show out, could potentially
get replaced by Spencer Rawler, who had a good preseason
and offseason. It's an aging roster as well, so there's
some concern there. But I've got New Orleans at six
and eleven, and finally Carolina improving from what they have

(30:44):
two wins last year?

Speaker 1 (30:45):
Is that what they ended up being.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
I got them at three wins starting fourteen. There still
not where they need to be from a roster standpoint.
First year head coach of Dave Canalis too, who I
think they'll be improved, but sometimes that improvement doesn't always
show in the win loss total.

Speaker 6 (30:59):
So maybe all be wrong, but that's how I got
the division shaken out. You know what's interesting. The Saints
ranked ninth in total offense last year and ranked eighth
and total defense. It led to a nine and eight season.
I actually feel confident that this is the year that
the New Orleans Saints put it together and actually win

(31:20):
the NFC South. I think the Atlanta Falcons bring up
second place. Yes, they did make some great additions. I
do like Raheem Morris as a head coach, but there
are still question marks as to how will this all
play out. He is a new coach, it is a
new town. It is a new quarterback that could play

(31:40):
to their advantage, but it also could play against them.
I like Baker Mayfield and Tampa Bay, but I think
that his best option in Mike Evans, I think he's aging.
I don't know how dominant they can be. So I
look at them finishing third in the division, and then
obviously I think Carolina may match what they won last year.

Speaker 5 (32:03):
They may beat about one or two games.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Yeah, I think it's a clean sweep here. Well, LaVar,
you have New Orleans.

Speaker 6 (32:10):
Winning the questions. Will Tepper spilled more drinks on fans? Yeah,
than wins that they get in Carolina. I mean probably
at this point. But I've got the Atlanta Falcons. I'll
go chockey on this their favorite to win the division.
I've got Atlanta winning the division. I'm a little curious
to see what Kirk Cousins looks like early on based
on coming off the injury, but they've added a ton

(32:31):
around him. They've added some pieces on defense as well too.
I think the front office is in a kind of
a high pressure spot because they're the ones that said
no to Bill Belichick and went the direction they did
to try and bring in Raheem Morris to run the
ship there. So I'm going to go with the Atlanta
Falcons to win the division. I have a sneaky good
feeling about New Orleans, and I don't know why I

(32:52):
have known. Maybe it is because to the Rattlesnakes right
there behind Derek Carr, ready to take the reins if
need be. But I'm to go New Orleans second, Tampa Bay.
I love Baker Mayfield, love the story, love Mike Evans,
hope he gets his thousand yard season yet again.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
I love everything about him. I love what they did
last year. I just see them taking a step back
this year, and then Carolina will be improved, hopefully for
Bryce Young, hopefully for Dave Canals, because it's not hard
to be better than you were last year based on
how it win.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
But I think Carolina finishes dead last in the.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
Division yet again.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
All right, save the best for last, and that is
the NFC West. I've got San Francisco winning it at
thirteen and four. Yes, that's one hell of the record,
but still following one win behind the number one overall
see in the Philadelphia. So San Francisco end up being
the two seed in the playoffs. I've got the Rams
on eleven and six. I think they're a playoff team.
I think they're much better roster than maybe people give
them credit. I obviously love McVeigh, but the biggest question

(33:49):
is how do they replace Aaron Donald.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
We saw some of the younger talent.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
We saw what they did in the draft too, draft
a couple of guys too out of Florida State to
help kind of replace that upfront. So they're doing their
best to replenish the I've got Seattle at seven to ten.
Mike McDonald takes over as head coach. Not really sure
what to make of this roster. I think they're talented
enough to be better than this, but looking at their
schedule too kind of panned out where it wasn't overly easy,
and so I think that kind of digged them a

(34:13):
couple of wins at least in my consideration, and then
Arizona at six to eleven. I think another kind of
competitive season as they continue to build this roster still again,
not a roster that to me is gonna be as
competitive within the NFC West. So the NFC playoff picture
goes like this. For me, Philly number one overall seed,
they get the buye. San Francisco takes on the seven
seed Dallas in the wildcard round. Detroit takes on the

(34:35):
number six seed Tampa Bay. Atlanta takes on the Rams.
I've got San Francisco winning, Detroit winning, and obviously the
La Rams upsetting Atlanta to win in the wildcard round
to go to divisional playoffs.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Philly ends up taking on the Rams.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
San Francisco takes on Detroit, and it's Philly and San
Francisco the two best rosters arguably in the NFL, squaring
off for the NFC Championship and a shot to go
to the Super Bowl.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
Wow. That's okay. So I actually have.

Speaker 6 (35:08):
And I know this might sound crazy, I have the
Rams winning the West this year. In the NFC West,
I have the forty nine ers taking a step back
coming in second in the West, and then you can
leave the rest of it up to whatever you want
to you want, what you want to make of it.
I think the Cardinals, if Kyler Murray stays healthy, actually.

Speaker 5 (35:28):
Could contend for the division.

Speaker 6 (35:30):
So I think they fall into that third spot because
I just don't know that he will hold up long
enough for them to do enough to win it. But
I look for them to be very competitive while he's
out there, and he could be a dark horse that
jacks up the NFC West. I know people are high
on the Niners, but I just think that they're going

(35:50):
to take a step back this season, not a big one,
but nonetheless, I don't see them winning the division. As
far as the playoff Pitcher, I look at the Dallas
Cowboys being noticed. Might sound crazy. They'll be the two
seat to Detroit being the one set and like whatever

(36:11):
the matchups are from there. I didn't break them down
like that like Q did, but I will say San
Francisco will be in the mix, the Saints will be
in the mix, and obviously you get so you got
the Eagles, the Niners, the Saints, the Detroit Lions, and
whoever else you want to throw in there. That's that's
up to y'all. Y'all, y'all got that. But those are

(36:33):
my four and out of that, I do believe. I
do believe, and this is like kind of and I
put the Rams in there too, by the way. I
just I think we'll have a different team in the
in the Super Bowl out of the NFC, and I'm
gonna make the Bowl prediction that Detroit makes it to
the super bowlshit nice.

Speaker 7 (36:54):
Well.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
I do believe in the forty nine ers roster, but
I also believe in Super Bowl hangovers, and I think
they're gonna have one. So I think the Niners will
finish second in the West. I've got the Rams winning
the division. I've got the Cardinals finishing third. I think
it's going to be a fun team to watch. I
think Kyler Murray has a bounce back year with more
time to recover from the knee injury suffered a couple
of years ago. And I've got Seattle finishing last in

(37:15):
the division. My playoff teams from the NFC are the Eagles, Lions, Falcons,
and Rams winning their divisions, and my wild card teams
are the Cowboys, Bears, and forty nine Ers, and then
I'll let you know who. Do you want my conference
champion now or you want to wait till later.

Speaker 5 (37:32):
We'll wait till later. Didn't we say conference?

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Well no, I mean we don't know cons the Super Bowl,
so right, I mean yeah, so we'll wait.

Speaker 4 (37:39):
We'll wait wa wait till later.

Speaker 5 (37:40):
On that one.

Speaker 2 (37:41):

executive producer, Lea Lap.

Speaker 11 (38:35):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning, Jonas, Good morning, Brady, Good morning, LeVar.

Speaker 7 (38:39):
What a day?

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Hey guys.

Speaker 11 (38:41):
In case you missed this, which it would have been
easy to miss this because there's a lot going on.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
Uh hey Brady.

Speaker 3 (38:46):
Uh.

Speaker 11 (38:46):
The Commanders have suspended their VP of content, Brail and Teen.
I know we don't know his name, but now we do,
following videos that surface of him allegedly making disparaging comments
about the NFL, their owners, and players. These comments were
secretly recorded by an undercover journalist after she connected with
Ending on a dating app.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
Uh.

Speaker 11 (39:06):
These comments range from everything from calling players.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
Did you guys see the video? Yes?

Speaker 4 (39:12):
I watched the whole video that was I mean.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
First off, how does this happen?

Speaker 3 (39:16):
Mike, He's going out on a date or something and
someone asked him these questions and he just is that
open and what he's saying, it's so clearly had the
look man. The whole thing around almost looks like a setup. It, yes,
very much, and it's the Commandos.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
Look I thought when Dan Snyder was gone, they were
going to get rid of all this crap, and apparently
not did he get fired yet, by the way, has
that happened or just suspended?

Speaker 4 (39:44):
So last I saw, he was just suspended.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
I'm sure there's some sort of explanation. And nowadays when
you fire someone, there's got to be cause. Maybe they
feel like this is cause, I mean, it's something like this,
even like permissible. I'm not even sure how the recording
would work and how it would be handled in a
court of if there was a lawsuit, but either way,
it's an awful look. He says some awful things in this.

(40:07):
I just don't know, if you're Washington, how you could
have picked up on it. I mean, based on how
freely he was talking and again not knowing who he's
talking to, But it could have been someone he was
that close.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
With, right, seemed like a first date.

Speaker 4 (40:20):
If anything, there was like a first.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
And second date.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
Right, Yeah, because there was a second part of the
video that showed him saying something similar later.

Speaker 11 (40:27):
On sometimes you barhap he might have been wearing the
sacred I gotta go back and check that out. Well,
on top of everything, he admitted that that sewage that
was pouring out of those pipes was in fact human waste.

Speaker 1 (40:39):
That's probably the biggest concerns. Now that's going to be
a lawsuit.

Speaker 2 (40:43):
Old hello, at last, rationale like, well you could bar hop, Like,
don't sleep on the potential there beat a bar hop.

Speaker 1 (40:51):
So he dimed out everybody at two different bars.

Speaker 4 (40:54):
What a loser?

Speaker 1 (40:56):
Yeah? Did anybody?

Speaker 2 (40:57):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (40:58):
Because remember like, how could that us be water if
it's coming from the toilets?

Speaker 5 (41:02):
Right, it's not Yeah, it's not crappy
