Should be well this time zones again.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Nine am Eastern Time, six o'clock Pacific?

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah, three am Hawaii. You know, got to give give love.
Good morning Superman. What time is it in Bangladesh? Oh,
I don't know, probably afternoon drive. I would assume we're
big time Man Global on the app?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
What up ripped my shirt off?

Speaker 5 (01:48):
Men?

Speaker 6 (01:49):
Oh be a little caught up in the spirit, didn't you? Yeah,
I mean I got Mark over there changing his pick before, so,
you know, concerned about the UCF fans the fact that
he was, you know, not picking them.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
But oh way, did he break the desk? Did I
see it? When he jumped on the desk, it looked
like it was falling apart afterwards?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Well, that is an interesting question.

Speaker 6 (02:17):
The desk itself, obviously is made so it can be
rather disassembled quickly and moved. Hence every week we're in
a different spot. So the question of whether or not
he broke it, I don't think he broke it. I
do think that there's parts of it that could be broken,
but the entire desk, I don't think it's broken.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
So yeah, he was.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
He was very fire physical.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
No, he just jumped on it.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
And then then it wasn't It wasn't created or made
to carry weight.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
It's there to look good is essentially what it's there for.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Yeah, that was.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
It was fun to watch. You know, it's fun being
in state college. Yeah. Uh, you know, good good people
all the way through. Uh, fun experience lead to laugh
and I gotta go on the field before the Penn
State Illinois game, will walk around a little.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Bit, lead to that.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Met Jack Ham, Doug he met the Ham Damn yeah,
damn yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Jonas didn't want to go to practice Q It didn't.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
That's that's not surprising to me though. Again, I just
the more of a round Jonas outside of this show,
the more I just I don't understand him.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
I just you know, I didn't want to go, just
as simple as that. Nothing nothing deeper than that.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
He would have got to get up and you know,
up close with the players. He would have been able
to meet the coach, you know, coaches, you know, chat
it up with legends.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
It's like, I don't want to go.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Yeah, I just want to cruise around, go see the city.
That's what I did.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
That's what he did.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
Would rather go buy a map, so tour is a
map and go walk around.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
I got some good brochures. What do we say? We circled.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
I had the Uber drivers circle to block on him
so that I could call him a weirdo.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
When we were driving by him on the street.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
I'm just kind of walking along and I just see
some cargo weirdo and I look like, damn, you threw.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Your hand up and made some type of emotion. I
don't know.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
I might have been a bird. You might have had
a bird. I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
No, that nothing that city, Okay not I wouldn't dare,
but uh no, man, what a great town. Favorite airport
of all time, State College, the best. There is nobody there.
Nobody say it is tiny.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
You could do cartwheels through that, but all the way
through it.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
You're just in and out. But it was a fun ride,
fun time, and I would say a lot more fun
than what the Buffalo Bills got to encounter last night.
Is at what point do you think the Bills realized
and maybe Bills fans realized, Oh, we're just gonna get
our ass be tonight, like that's how this is gonna go.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Ravens are dangerous.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Can I pose this question, who is good in the NFL?

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Kansas City?

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Is it just Kansas City?

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Because because even if they don't win games, it doesn't
make you feel like they win them convincingly.

Speaker 5 (05:24):
They don't, but they got a history of doing it.
That's the only thing I say is they know how
to win games. And that's why I say you, I'm
not I'm not concerned with them winning games the way
that they're winning them. As long as they're winning them,
that's what I would say. But a team that's definitively good,
I don't. I don't think there there is one.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yeah, I would say, man, I think Minnesota is good.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
They they look good. But is that fool's gold? They're
good right now?

Speaker 6 (05:56):
You know what the worst part is, it's your question
is that fool's gold? Is how many people are out
there right now going, yeah, this is awesome, man, Sam
Donald MVP through the month of September.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
But there's gonna be.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
That game or that streagas stuff where he turns into
like people And I've talked to.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
People about this who have liked been say.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
Yeah, but don't you think he's gonna I'm like, yeah,
That's the hard part is in our mind, like we
have this first impression build up of what Sam Donald
is gonna be, that he's just gonna fall off at
some point, throw a bunch of picks and turn into
whatever you thought he was with the New York Jets,
whatever you thought he was the Carolina Panthers. Like that's

(06:37):
that's our that's how like human brains work. And now
you look at it and go, now, he's playing unbelievable football.
That he's gonna have bad games. Of course, you have
a bad game here and there, but the way he's
playing right now, when when I go through and watches
his tape, it's incredible.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
It reminds me of like all the good things that we.

Speaker 6 (06:57):
Used to talk about back when he was at Southern
Cow and he was leading that team, which I don't
think people had such like an understanding of where Southern
col was at that point, because you know, I think
they won the Pac twelve the one year he was there,
that led to a Rose Bowl that year. In one
of those two years that those are not good teams.

(07:19):
It was Sam Donald. They had some wide receivers. That
was pretty much it. It was not It was very
similar to some of the Southern cal teams we saw,
even when Lincoln Riley first got there, and it was like, man,
it's just Caleb Williams and a few guys in the
outside and that's all that's told this thing together.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
It was the same way back then Diversus with Clay Hillmer.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
But you know, we never really gave Sam Donald the
benefit of the doubt because he struggled in New York
and then now he comes around and finds a great opportunity.
And I think everyone keeps waiting for that moment, but
I don't think it's coming.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
Man.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
And he's played phenomenal so far the season. He should
be the player of the month. I don't know if
they still do that thing, but he's been awesome.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
I mean, I know who's Google dumb. I know who's
not good. That's the easier, easier question.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
It's not good.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
I mean Cleveland.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
Tang Tang.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Could be what do you what do you.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
Do with that?

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Carolina, New England.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
I don't know who takes the blame for it in Cleveland, though,
you I mean, do you do you.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Really think I've got to take it out? Something's like,
hey man, why don't you guys win it? I don't know,
I've been there in fifteen years, But.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Why you're not losing? I mean winning just because I
picked the cigarette. That's correct, that's on the bush.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
Yeah you are. That's so that's upset. That's on you.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
I wish, I wish I was that importantite that much
power to be able to influence something like that, but
unfortunately I do not.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
All Right, what's the reason though, Well.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
The reason is they're just not just playing well.

Speaker 6 (08:54):
I mean, here's the thing is that it feels like
it's struggle for them to score points.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Like they hit a big play and they got called
back for a penalty, and.

Speaker 6 (09:02):
There's like there's some questional calls throughout the league yesterday
as I feel like officiating it may be worse at
the NFL level at the moment. I'm not even sure
like going back and looking at some things, but I
would say this, they just they struggle to score points.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
It is.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
It looks so hard for them to score points, and
their wide receiver group and the playmakers they have are
good man. So I don't know if you just attribute
that to the offense or with Stefancy calling plays and
you know, Alex van Pelt leaving to go to New
England even though they're struggling metally, you know, So I'm
not sure who what you attributed to. But someone's going

(09:41):
to take the fall for this, and I don't know
who that is. Like, can you really fire Stefan just
went Coach of.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
The Year last year?

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Yeah, and then fired as coordinators Like, well, well.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
I don't know have fired. I mean Van Pelt left,
but and he had Swartz last year, so I don't
know what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
On the offensive side, it was and his quarterback coach
and somebody else. Remember we talked about it.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Pell took the job in New England, but there was
somebody who could say how they took way part ways.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
But like I would just look at it this way
and say, it feels like he would be the person
that ultimately would maybe take the blame only because of
the contract situation with Watson, unless something off the field
ends up showing up, which.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
You know is always a possibility at this point.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
Well that now it allows them to move on from
him based on the restructuring this past offseason.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
And it's also I just go back to the best
the offense has looked in the last several games, going
back to last year was when Flacco was a quarterback, and.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
That was Flaco struck again yesterday.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
And that was after Nick Chubb went out with the injury,
and so they needed to rely on more of the
passing game to get things done. And Flaco ended up
winning Comeback Player of the Year, like and that was
this Browns team, And I just I don't know.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Many when a total different direction, didn't they I mean
and fast, quick, in a hurry.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
The decision and not bring Flacco back? You think that
had anything to do with him just maybe being too
good that it was threatening to DeShawn that it was
because that one still is confusing to me, Like he.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
Had would I put him in right now, if he
was still there right now, this this well, I would.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Say, you have a backup that can still play, that's
there now.

Speaker 6 (11:29):
Yeah, So I'm not sure why he wouldn't contemplate that.
But but I think the hard part is is like
what is that ultimately accomplish you? I mean, for contractually speaking,
are you really going to have him there, and and
you've paid him all this money and the only way
out is something off the field that would negate what

(11:49):
they own and guarantees. So you're you're kind of stuck
there for the most part, unless this other lawsuit comes
to fruish whether there's something more there and he's punished
from that. So if that's the case, like, what what
good does that accomplish?

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Yeah, it's they feel like they're really up against it.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
I don't.

Speaker 6 (12:07):
I mean, Jonas do this, Look at the roster, look
look at the backups. You tell me if you feel
like Joe Flacco would have made more sense there? Okay,
as the can you do that?

Speaker 1 (12:16):
As far as as far as the Browns go at quarterback?

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Or what are you? What are you getting at? What
do you? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (12:24):
I mean that's what we're talking about. Your question.

Speaker 6 (12:25):
Okay, So for example, James So, Jameis Winston, Yea, Deshaun Watson,
Dorian Thompson, Robinson.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
I mean, did you feel like you fit there?

Speaker 1 (12:35):
I mean, that's a great point.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
You know.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Now that I'm looking at it, I do notice that.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
They're all the same same color. They're all black. Oh.

Speaker 6 (12:43):
I was going to say that the same type player,
like I mean, Dorian Thoms of Robinson's Athletic.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
Wrote just the way Jonas was playing, fiddling with it
as we got to the punchline of it, I just
figure was that which.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
We're bringing it? Breaking down style of play.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
Not style. So what you're saying is they play.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Kind of a similar set, a similar brand.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
That was really good to go there.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
All right, I'm not sure what you were getting.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
One of these things is not like the other.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Would that quarterback room have been awkward? You think or
you think so? Oh no, man, Flaco, Flaco got some
he got stripes. Man, I don't know that that doesn't matter.
But his style of play is not the same as
the other guys in the room.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
I mean it's you're changing the offense a little bit
too with some what you're doing.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
I mean, in fairness to massage, you know.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
He ain't doing much anything anything.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
You know, the on lines banged up. You know, I
think their center got hurt yesterday. Try to here we go.
Harris came in Here we go like that is a
real thing, Like, there we go. He's dealing with some injuries.
But I still don't know that that's every week. Ya
say that every week.

Speaker 6 (14:09):
I mean it's okay, there's both starting tackles are out
and they're center one out, Like you got two of
five starting offensive lineman and the right guard Zach Zentner's
a rookie.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
I mean it's not it's not as.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
A real situation. The Eagles are.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
They lost too, and they probably would have won that
game if they had both.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
They got their butts kick.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
That was crazy, But I think they're a much better.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Team if Djoko's on IR. It's like they got they
got some guys on it.

Speaker 6 (14:37):
The roster's bang up, but you still have Maury Cooper
and Jerry Judah and Judy and Elijah Moore.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
I mean, such a.

Speaker 6 (14:43):
Tillman's there four. I mean he's fine too. You know,
the backfield's fine. It's it's surprising that they've struggled the
way they haven't. And more so than that, I would
say it's gotta be frustrating LeVar when I mean you're
holding teams to like the teams outside of Dallas Week one, defensively, they've.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Been pretty big good.

Speaker 6 (15:04):
Yeah, I mean, how you don't think that's gonna break
at some point? Those guys in that side of the
ball where they start. I mean, I've been on enough
teams and you know you hear it when guys get
frustrated and they start chirping back and forth. Oh that happens.
I feel like this team might be venturing there.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
I was going to ask you that as well too. Well,
there could be a meltdown in store. So how does
that play out? Like is it a team could happen
in New York too, So how does that play out?

Speaker 4 (15:32):
What's the consumption?

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Like, Well, it comes out in different ways, like from listen,
I don't I don't know how, guys, how football politics
work nowadays. But I just say, back when we played,
if there were guys who were getting frustrated with the
other side not playing well, Like let's just say, for real,
real example sake, the offense stunk and the defense kept

(15:58):
giving them opportunities and they did not make good on
the opportunities. You know, little things like you start to
see little passive aggressive things like when the offense is
going back onto the field right the defense like they'll
put their hands out to like give high fives and
stuff like that, and defensivelayers don't do it.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
They don't do it back.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Every once in a while, you'll get a defensive player
like this is just in game, Like we could get
to the locker room and how that is during the
week and stuff like that. But just in game, you'll
see things like you'll see you'll see a guy maybe
throw his water bottle and grab his helmet and be
like this mother fn offense, like you know, stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
So that's like sage two.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
That's I mean, you know.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
You're still being passive aggressive about it, but in the
locker room, like it'll come up. It could come up
out of anything, like a guy could be talking about
from the offensive side of the ball, could be talking
about his car. In some way, somehow, a defensive dude
will turn how bad they're playing on offense into the

(17:06):
conversation about him talking about his car. So basically, there's
no conversation that's going to be had that isn't going
to lead to the defensive player telling the offensive guys
how e s how idy you know their play is,
how bad the offense is? Like there's always going to
be something like you could talk about I'm going on

(17:26):
a date with my girlfriend. They're going to bring up
something about how bad the offense and how would they
bring that up?

Speaker 4 (17:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (17:32):
They they they like it could be on something like man,
I hope you you better at Dayton than you are
at catching the ball or something like that, you know
what I mean, Like maybe if you focus more on
our plays and and and this out report, maybe maybe
we win.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
You know, like, id you give them the when you
give them your credit card, somebody pick it off or
like something.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
Student, you're gonna say something snarky. It's got to be something.
It's got to be connected to any and everything, because
ultimately you want to keep reminding them that they suck,
like that's you want to keep remind And then last phase.
Last phase is you're fighting, like dudes will really fight
like that, really fight like that. Guys will fight over

(18:15):
it because the offensive players they're not punks, you know
what I mean, So they're not going just like it
ain't gonna always be like you're gonna just get away
with like well what you what you're saying that?

Speaker 4 (18:25):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (18:25):
Like, well, what what what time is it? Then you
know what I mean? Like what you mean? What time
is it?

Speaker 4 (18:31):
You know what I mean? Like, but you know what
it is you know what time it is? Brouh Like,
I don't know why you're talking to me sideways, but
it just went.

Speaker 5 (18:39):
It just it is about to get bad for you
up in here, and then next thing you know, you know, guys,
lock it up.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
Get you gotta you gotta break them up. You got
to break them up.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
You know, some dudes don't be throwing the Jets in there.

Speaker 6 (18:54):
Okay, that's a two and two football team that plays
all that they say.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Nor'easter there and missed a field goal at the end.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
And them defensive dudes is sitting there like that's all
the point y'all could give us. That's that's all the
point y'all can give us. Buddy, it was going both ways.
I don't know how much you saw with those conditions.
All I know is if there was one road nixt made,
it looked like someone had half open to Christmas gift
and threw it in the air.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
I get it. But they won.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
They won, They did they want.

Speaker 5 (19:24):
All I'm saying is if I'm the Jets again, I'm
the Jets, and I put I put up. I held
them to this amount of points you're supposed to always win.

Speaker 6 (19:35):
Yeah, I know, they both held each other to a
minimum amount of points.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
But I'm focused on the Jets because they lost.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
You feel good about it, don't you.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
I mean, I'm not praying for their downfall.

Speaker 5 (19:48):
I'm just saying you could see it, Like, I know
we got to take a break, but you just well,
we'll talk about it later, man. I know we're probably
gonna touch on it later, but I just I had
some observations from that game. You know how I felt
about like how he looks like like that Aaron Rodgers
glare like it just that wearst thing if you make

(20:11):
mistakes for one and not other people.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Just other people make mistakes.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
But then two, it's like, if we're not going to
do any better than this, don't be don't be making
no faces at me like that. Man, Like, don't be
making faces at the sideline like that. Don't be making
faces like it's everybody else but me, Like, don't you
know that could wear thing too. That's why I brought
it up. It could wear thing. You got like, don't
look at me, you got more on that. Let's not

(20:40):
get in there.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
It is two pros and a cup of joe. Here
on Fox Sports Radio, Lavarron look right away. Jonas KNOXX
with you, so we are gonna have the usuals coming
up later on. We do have another edition of In
case you missed it, We've got an FSR i R
an hour two of the program. We're gonna close up
shop with Lee's leftovers, and hour three. Oh by the way,
it's the return of double Barrel Action in the NFL

(21:03):
on Monday Night football. Coming up later on. It's all
yours here as we take you again all the way
up until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. Coming
up next here though from the tirak dot com studios.
A little surprising, a little surprising that somebody's not getting
more love than they actually should be at this point.
We'll tell you why right here on FSR.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
But we got two baseball games double barrel Action, all right,
fun times.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Let's tell you about the pole I did.

Speaker 6 (21:44):
How they know I'm saying like the Twitter poll?

Speaker 5 (21:48):
Oh okay, Okay, yeah, I thought you meant pole assassin
like term. Okay, okay, okay, good, okay.

Speaker 6 (21:55):
Well, most people that responded were more into the primetime
Tuesday night oh yeah, instead of doing double barrel action.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Well, but it's not as fun to say, because what
are you gonna do?

Speaker 6 (22:07):
No, I know that I knew that would be your
response to it, But I'm just telling you most people
do not agree with you.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
Jonas well.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
If I would have seen that poll, I would have
reported it to X and been like, I think this is,
you know, spreading misinformation and spreading hateful speech. You cannot
get rid of double barrel action, all right, you.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Know, and back next week you can?

Speaker 5 (22:27):
You are fakes news.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Well I do know this. We are brought to you
by Express Pros. Let Express Employment Professionals help hire your
next pro forget about posting jobs, sifting through resumes and
interviews with unqualified applicants. Move up to the pros. Go
to expresspros dot com to find the location near you.
That's expresspros dot com. Say we're in about twelve minutes
from now. A longtime streak in the NFL has come

(22:53):
to an end, and somebody on this show is going
to be really happy about it. So we will give
you the details on that again a little over twelve
minutes from now. So would you say that if you
had to vote on the MVP right now? Sam Donald?
Sam Donald's guy?

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Right?

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Sam Donald?

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (23:09):
Sam Sale Right?

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Did we say that in the first segment?

Speaker 1 (23:13):
The reason I bring this up is currently sitting at
number five in the MVP odds? Is Sam Donald sober one?

Speaker 4 (23:23):
All right?

Speaker 1 (23:23):
So who would you guess?

Speaker 4 (23:24):
Mahomes That's what I would guess.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Yeah, it's Mahomes, bro Like he's not And look.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
You gotta get him another That was on time, so
you gotta get him another one. What they keep winning?
If he if they keep winning, they got to give
him another one. So they got to get him another one.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
That's just the default.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
Yes, Sam, are you saying because they ain't done winning yet?
Is that what you mean?

Speaker 1 (23:48):
The ain't done winning yet? Sam Donald's comb and his family.
Sam Donald's been better than Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
He's been the best quarterback in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
Baker Mayfield's been better than Patrick.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
Baker Mayfield is cooking, bro last week.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
I think Josh cooking Outside of last night, Josh Allen's
been better than Pat Patrick.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
Mahomes Todd that wasn't good last night.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Josh Allen was the favorite. He has fallen back to two. Uh,
and then we've got Lamar Jackson C J. Stroud mixed
in there.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
Lamar jacks so puts his name in the conversation after
last night.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
It does feel like, to Brady's point in the first segment,
people are just still trying to go back to what
their initial thoughts were of the season.

Speaker 5 (24:29):
They're going to continue to until it just continues happening.
That's just how skeptics work. Like Sam Darnold isn't going
to outperform the skeptical feelings of what could possibly be.
So he's just got to keep winning. I mean, it's
just that's just what is he.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
Trying to not be burdened by what has been what
it is.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
I hope he's not being burned. I hope he's just
playing because at the end of the day, like like
you know, it's been said, has been stated, he is
now for the first time, arguably in a great, great situation,
in a great position to win and have success. He
hasn't always had that, so I wouldn't be burdened with that.

(25:13):
If I'm him, I'm looking at it like I'm gonna
just keep dealing. We keep dealing because at the end
of the day, this is my opportunity. I've moved around.
People can think what they want to think, they can
feel how they want to feel. But I got a team.
We played defense, great, great strategist on the defensive side
of the ball, and I got a plethora of weapons

(25:37):
on this offensive side of the ball. And this is
just that it looks sustainable. So I wouldn't be burdened
by anything. I just play ball. If I'm Sam Darnold, I.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
Mean, Jayden Daniels has been better than Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
Jayan Daniel's balling man. He looked good too, look confident,
glad like when.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Last week happened.

Speaker 6 (25:58):
You can tell there's like a switch where he's like,
now that's the expectation for him every single week. And
that's powerful. Man, when you're a rookie and you can
do what he did has done in the past two weeks,
but in particular last week, then you walk out there
and go like, I feel like I can do this
every week in this league, you know, and it's it's

(26:19):
awesome that he's got the ability and with a franchise
that I think is in such a better place because
with the with the old guard in Washington, I almost
would be like.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
Man, they're gonna mess this up.

Speaker 6 (26:33):
But now I do feel confident like they're gonna take
care of him, they're gonna build around them, they are
going to allow him to be the player he's capable
of being. And this kind of goes back to a
conversation that you know, Chase Daniel actually had put out
there on Twitter and just in response to like Darnold
and Mayfield and the success they're having, and it's continually

(26:55):
gotten conversation about it, Like the truth is, are there
out liars who amongst almost any situation they're going to succeed.
Probably there's probably, you know, handful of guys generational type talents.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
You know, Patrick Mahomes would probably be good no matter
where he.

Speaker 6 (27:13):
Was at because he's Patrick Mahomes and he's that talented.
And really for the rest of the league it's not
so much like that. But even in saying that about
those quarterbacks, those players, you know, Josh Allen got three
years in the same system, same team, no changes to
the coaching staff, same system, and then he finally got

(27:33):
Stefan Diggs year three and he started to flourish. There's
not many guys who get three years of starting experience
that go through the struggles that they went through those
first three years and see that third year. It's just
everyone's got a short leash on these guys. For Mayfield,
I mean, you look at the situation circumstance in Cleveland

(27:56):
when he first got there, going through changes of head coaches,
et cetera.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Changes on the roster.

Speaker 6 (28:02):
They build it up to go win a playoff game
on the road, and you know, I don't know all
the details of why it didn't work out getting that
second deal, a second contract, or how things fell apart.
Obviously his final year there he was playing banged up,
trying to play through it, and things got tough between
ownership and the organization and him. But you know, you

(28:23):
look at the dysfunction of Cleveland since I mean, this
roster is built as good as any. Are they battling
some injuries right now, sure, but even last year, like
they were able to overcome four quarterbacks playing and be
a team that could win football games more often than not.
It's hard to do, and so I just I look

(28:45):
at the situation where Daniels and go like this is
it's tough to start right away like he has, but
he's been able to handle that. And now it's about
what they're gonna do moving forward to make sure he
can beat the quarterback he's capable of. Because don't get
it twisted, like these organizations can still find ways of
messing stuff up and being cheap and not doing what
they should be in order to give themselves a chance

(29:07):
of winning.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
A Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
I thought Arizona was going to be competitive in that game,
and they were totally outclassed, like.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
It wasn't mean they just got even close mutilated, not
even close.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
So hell to the commander.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
By the way, Kingsbury's going to get another opportunity if
this keeps up.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
Hell victory Commanders on the war path fight for old DC.

Speaker 1 (29:35):

Speaker 1 (31:01):
It, and for that we turned it over to our
executive producer Lee.

Speaker 7 (31:06):
Lap Good Monday morning, everybody.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
Good morning, Brady, Good morning, LeVar, Good morning Jonas. Ella's.

Speaker 7 (31:14):
In case you missed this, we talked, Hey LeVar, Hey guys,
In case you missed this, we did talk about it though.
Hey Brady, how are we doing, buddy? I'm doing great,
doing really good. I had a good day of rest
on Sunday. Much needed my ass.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
Noah, I took it easy, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Sure I had to. You didn't get buckled during that
Packers game.

Speaker 8 (31:36):
No, I did not went to the Packers bar, but
I did not get buckled.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Probably a lot of sad faces at that bar.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
One beer.

Speaker 7 (31:43):
Well, there was a lot of goat pack go because
they were making a resurgence at the end.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
But your ass is kicked in the first half.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (31:50):
No, That's why I went there because I was I
was watching at home and I just couldn't stand being
there by myself. Loves company, so I want to go
join in, and then we all had You know, we
almost came back, buddy, we didn't. Oh, well, guys, another
kind of story that relates though an incredible streak Aaron
Rodgers came to an end in that Jets Broncos game.

(32:11):
Of course, Jets did loose with the Broncos ten to nine.
Rogers statline twenty four for forty two two hundred and
twenty five yards twenty six.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
Rushing, but no touchdowns.

Speaker 7 (32:20):
And what makes that incredible is that this is the
first time in his entire professional career that he has
not thrown a touchdown at home.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Jeez, pretty incredible.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
I mean, well, all good things. You mean a game
that he's finished.

Speaker 4 (32:34):
I mean obviously that he has played the entire game
that you're.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Right, gotcha?

Speaker 4 (32:38):
Yeah, it's a good point, Q help, good catch.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Hope you're happy, LeVar boll I have to put that
in there because, you.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
Know, because that was part of it.

Speaker 3 (32:46):
That was a real fine print sometimes with Lee that
he clst.

Speaker 5 (32:49):
That kind of should have been that should have been
the end of the streak right there, I guess because
he was at home.

Speaker 4 (32:55):
But that is what it is.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Uh, does that make you a happy, LeVar? That street
come to an end?

Speaker 4 (33:01):
No? I don't. I don't care either. I keep your streak,
lose your streak, you.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
Know, do we have a sound from his postgame comments
for some of that, Robert Sala have we I'll send
it to you.

Speaker 7 (33:14):
I do have some Rogers sound, you know, giving credit
to the defense, throwing the offense under the bus.

Speaker 9 (33:19):
Take a listen, when your defense holes on the ten,
you got to you gotta win the game ter percent
of the time. So that's on the offense. It's on me. Yeah,
not good enough.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
Yeah, I said that.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
The accountability, so I'm looking for.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
I'll send it to you.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
Being accountable, I actually think because because of that, he
deserves zero blame in that game, because he was accountable.
It's great Greg Zerline should be the guy getting buried
by New York media today.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
That's the way I look at it, Like that type
of state. What else you got, Lee, Guys.

Speaker 7 (33:50):
In the world of college football, Saturday's game between Gardner
Webb and Tennessee Tech UH definitely was affected by Hurricane
Helene this weekend. App State was forced to cancel that
our home game. But these these teams, Gardner Webin Tech's
Tennessee Tech decided to move what was going to be
a night game to the afternoon because they.

Speaker 8 (34:06):
Had no power. So with no power at the at.

Speaker 7 (34:09):
Spanglers stadium, no notework connections, and spotty cell connections. The
modern amenities of college football were non existent, leaving both
teams to play an old school style contest, and in
lieu of uh, they decided to fore go tickets and
lou of donations.

Speaker 8 (34:22):
For relief efforts in North Carolina. Yeah, did you guys
catch ney of that? In case you missed it?

Speaker 5 (34:27):
Hell no, no power exact amundo.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
You got it, So why would you ask the question?

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Though question?

Speaker 3 (34:39):
We possibly caught it.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
It was a trick question.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
You caught it.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
You passed the tests.

Speaker 5 (34:48):
Testing though, exact mundo A trying to god that soup
you tripped out, Lee.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Oh Man, exactly exactly except the moondou.

Speaker 7 (35:14):
In case you missed some uh, some sound from that
Aaron Rodgers story from before.

Speaker 8 (35:18):
In case you missed this.

Speaker 5 (35:20):
Specifically, Robert said, that might be something you guys have
to dial back a little bit.

Speaker 4 (35:23):
And is that something you think could potentially help the situation.

Speaker 9 (35:28):
It's fun way to do it. The other ways hold
him accountable. I mean, we haven't had an issue. We've
had one false start. Morgan had one false start I
believe until this so it's been a weapon we use
it every day in practice. We don't you know, we
rarely have a false start, and to have I don't know,
five today, it seemed like four or five. Yeah, it's
it seems like an outlier. I don't know if we
need to make mass changes based on, you know, kind

(35:49):
of an outlier game.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
I mean again, it seems reasonable.

Speaker 6 (35:54):
Seems like him in Salah maybe on Yeah, I think
they get along rate. I don't know, it seems like
everything sounds like a normal marriage. It just seems like
everything's fine.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Normal marriage. Yeah, exactly, that's what it all sounds like.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
I don't know that one
