Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up on this Tuesday edition, we look back at Monday
night football. Clearly there was going to be a big
difference with the Jets, right they fired their head coach,
they got a brand new guy. There are a lot
of optimism in the building. They come up short again.
What does it mean and who's to blame? And what

(00:22):
was with the officiating we will discuss. We're also going
to look at the Nick Sirianni situation in Philadelphia. Feels
bad about his behavior on Sunday, so what does it
mean for his future moving forward? We're going to talk
about the potential future of Bill Belichick, what the hell's
going off with the Cleveland Browns and Deshaun Watson. We've
got the BQ Top fifteen and Pete Prisco stops by.
It's all yours coming up next here, Two Pros and

(00:44):
a Cup of Joe on a Tuesday, Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio off and running here
out of Tuesday morning.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
Lebar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas Knox.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
With you here. We'll take you all the way up
until nine am.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific, and we'll do it all
line from the tire rack dot Com studios.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Tire rack dot com.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
We'll help you get there, an unmatched selection, fast free shipping,
free road has a protection and over ten thousand recommended
installers tire rack dot com.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
The way tire buying should be.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeah, we just have tires on them so they can land.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Can I just say this?

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Can I just say this before we get into the
the nuts and bolts of the game, what you want
to say? Damn, sometimes the officials make it a tough watch.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
You know, twenty two penalties that I was.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Hoping they would throw more, honestly, and I just I
couldn't get enough flags, could not get enough penalties involved
in this game.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
That s was absurd.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Yeah, it's like you can't even get like a a
like a watching rhythm going let alone. I don't know
how these teams are performing knowing that you're just gonna
be set back and set back and set back more
laundry on the field, set back another flag. It just
at a certain point it feels like they're just trying
to get involved just for the sake of.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Getting that sacked though, that roughened the passer on the sack.
That that's that's an all time low. It's an all
time low. I'm sorry if you're listening, and I know
I'll be having people from the league offices listening to
our show and what we be having to say, Hey, look,
that's an all time low.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Guys, that's it's an all time low. And is it
an all time low.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
That's it's an all time low. It's the it's it
might be it might be the lowest moment ever in
the history of the game. Really, I'm not like, and
I'm not even joking. You took a quarterback who still
has the ball in his hands, and you took them

(03:12):
to the ground and you got a roughing the passer penalty.
It might be the lowest moment in the history of football.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
I would say, the only one in contention maybe roughing
the passer? Wise, was it Christ Jones on Derek Carr
a couple of years ago where he stripped the ball
and went to the ground and still got called for
roughing the passers?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
That was a bad one too. Both on my bad
one too. Both Monday night games.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
It's a bad one. This was a lower this all
time low entertaining game. Though entertaining game, I mean, you
could tell these were two teams that knew they needed
to win the game and wanted to win the game
different reasons. One and still the superior team in the
in the division. The other is trying to overcome dysfunction

(03:59):
and try to win right now for Woody Johnson, and
they both needed to win, and they both played like
they wanted to win.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yeah, I mean it was a tight game.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
They were the two top teams in the division. I
don't know that anyone's gonna dispute that based on how
the game went. What's interesting about it is had the
Jets won, they would have been a top of.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
The afcast, which is crazy, right, Like with all.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
The conversation, everything that's gone on since then, and if
Robert Salaz still there as their head coach, does it
make a difference one way or another?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
I mean, I don't know. I don't think it did.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
I don't think it does at all, to be honest,
I think those guys played their asses off last night.
They wanted to win that game and Listen, when you
get an interim head coach, you know the one thing
that players do in that first game out they played
their asses off. Yep, they played their asses off and
they might get a win that they might have not
have got otherwise. They played hard last night. It was

(04:58):
entertaining you saw Aaron Rodgers playing at a high level.
They they actually look like they can be competitive moving forward.
And so maybe it does bring justification of what it
is that they did. But to me, they only made
changes that we were made aware of that that Robert

(05:21):
Salov was going to make anyway, right, They didn't make
any other any other movements that were different from what
we heard Robert Salov was about to do in terms
of what they were going to do.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
On offen, you think Robert Solo was watching the game,
going hold a.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Second, like why am I out?

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Like I was trying to make that that switched the
entire time I tried to make an app on Tuesday.
In five minutes later, I got to scored out by security.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
And you know who let them down in the end,
their defense, their defense left I mean, in my opinion that.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Their defense let letting the Bills off the hook. The
interception at the end to Mike Williams. I know the
ball was a bit underthrown. He's got to make that play.
I mean, if there's one acquisition that I think has
kind of come up disappointing, it's probably been Mike Williams
for them. I really thought he would be more imposing

(06:14):
on the outside, add a nice one to two combination,
or at least a compliment to Gara Wilson, and that
has not been the case. The other thing is that
if we look at the score, how many scored on
a hill? Mary, you know, maybe the score is not
of vi indicative of how close it was.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
But here's what we can say.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
The Jets move the ball better, but it still wasn't
good enough to be the top of their division, at
least at this point. So now they've got to figure
out how to rebound and put this whole thing back together.
But they've got their work cut out for him, and
they really do. And I'm curious the mindset of the

(06:56):
players on this team because after this year, there's so
many things in question. Does Rogers come back, who's the
head coach going to be? I don't imagine it'll be
Jeff Rolbrook may maybe I'm wrong, maybe they'll end up
hiring him. But when there's questions like this around a
team and its future, you know what players start doing.

(07:18):
They start thinking about themselves. And that's a dangerous path
or thought process for a team that can't afford to
think about anything other than the team and figure out
how to win and get get their way back into
this thing. But that's what happens when you start losing
football games. People start losing hope, they start going in

(07:38):
self preservation mode. That's my concern for the Jets if
they can't start getting some wins.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
And going a little run here.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Rogers spoke after the game, clearly frustrated.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Discussed who were blaming it on this week?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Well, I discussed how big of a loss this was
and also the officiating.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
It was been reps need to be held oft, gours, Okay.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
You need to get going. Uh, this was a goal opportunity.
Some games you win in the NFL and some games
you give away. This was a giveaway. I mean we
were terrible in the red zone. We missed two field goals,
didn't convert on a you know, two minute drive with
plenty of chances. Had the momentum, had good drives, moved
them all up and down the field. You know, again,

(08:20):
this is should have been a thirty plus point game
on offense, and this shouldn't even be a conversation. Yeah,
it seemed a little ridiculous. Yeah, some of them seemed
really bad, including the rough in the passer on me,
that's not rough in the passer. That was what play
star cast the ball, if we're going to call those things.
And I thought the one on Kin Long was not

(08:41):
rough in the passer.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Either, So there you go, var. I mean, here's what
I'll say to this. He did throw the kicker under
the bus right there. He did throw should which they
should have made the field goals. That is true.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
And listen, if Zerline makes the kick against Denver, you know,
that's that's another game they could if if if you.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Know, hand grenades and and horseshoes. My guy, why does
she stop dancing on our graves? Here?

Speaker 6 (09:07):
All right?

Speaker 2 (09:08):
We're holding on. I'm not dancing on your grave. I'm not.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
They're two and three. There's still the hope and the
chance that they can do what it is that you
said they can, which is make the playoffs. I don't
think they're going to make the playoffs. But there's the
chance that they can make the playoffs. Now here's the key.
And I think he touched.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
On two and four. Actually two and four.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Yeah, yeah, it's even bleaker, sorry too, yeah two and four. Listen,
if they Aaron Rodgers saying they need to get it going,
is that is a understatement. If they don't get it going,
like as in get it going. Now what Q just

(09:52):
said before we did the sound bite, self preservation kicks
in business, decisions are made, and you will this team
totally implode. That's where that's if they don't get it
going and they don't get a good, feel good moment
that can pull them together. Winning this game last night

(10:14):
could have been the catalysts. I mean, we saw it
happen in Las Vegas last year. It led to AP
being able to keep the job and maintain and move
forward with them. Getting this win last night would have
been big for them, super big, and who knows what
that turns their trajectory into.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
But they didn't.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
They didn't win, And now what they'll win this next
I think I said this, they'll lose this game, they'll
win the next one. They could win the one after that,
but they'll probably lose that one too. They'll probably lose.
They'll probably lose three out of their next four games,
this being the first one.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
I mean, their next one's at Pittsburgh. You're picking against us.
I didn't pick against them.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
I said, there's the possibilit which they looked pretty good
last week, by the way, they didn't look bad and
they win. Yeah, they didn't look bad and they're win.
They might not win that one. I said, it's a
maybe they win that one. That's the one they have
a chance to win.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Just don't think they have a chance to win at Arizona.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Yeah, now seeing seeing seeing what the way they look now,
yeah maybe.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
So they've got they've got Pittsburgh and New England next
on the road.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Before in New England it was New England. It's the
New England game. I said, they'll win. So I said,
they lose their first their next two, then they'll win
their third. They could win against Pittsburgh. They'll probably beat
New England. But New England's gonna play them tough. It's
a divisional opponent. They're going to get played Like imagine
we're sitting here saying I'm saying that they'll play New
England and they'll beat New England, but there's the chance

(11:49):
that they may not beat New England because that's a
divisional opponent and not Those are the types of games
where it doesn't matter how bad a team is, they're
going to play the hell out of you, and they're
going to play you are just like what we.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Saw last night. Just like what we saw last night,
even though the Bills are a good.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Team, Jets are favorite at Pittsburgh right now, so one
and a half point favorite.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
I take that bet. I take that well, I mean,
what's the point spread?

Speaker 2 (12:18):
One and a half? I'm what what I do? I'm
money line them.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
I bet you. I bet you the Steelers beat them.
They beat them. You don't need to. They't dang being favorites.
I bet you the Steelers beat them. Yeah, that was
not a great loss for the Jets last night. Zre
line those two kicks, just the penalties.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Rogers.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Can I ask you this, Brady on the hail Mary,
is there any skill at all involved in what Rogers
is doing or is it just throw it up there
and it's just coincidence that these guys are making place
for him, and.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
You know, it's all skill. I mean, it's it's technical,
it's skill. There's some spirit duty involved in all that. Yeah, No,
I mean if I had to coach up a quarterback
on like what goes into it. You know, typically you're
not gonna take your normal drop. You know, usually guys
will take like a five step drop. But the difference

(13:15):
is which in shotguns deep? Okay, I mean you got
to step up, you got to hitch up into the pocket.
But you're not gonna hitch up once. You're gonna hitch
up twice. It's because that's second time, all right, That's
where you say the prayer before you throw the football
up there. So, given the spirituality of one Aaron Rodgers,
I'm sure.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
You had a scale in spirituality that's not just a
gill of skill connected to that too.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Well, I'll handle this all right. The skill comes in
the actual throw type of trajectory to the football, almost
like you're dropping a bomb, and you need to be
able to throw a certain height to allow everyone else
to get in position. But it's also got to drop
with a per the amount of space not only for

(14:01):
a potential catch, but tip to allow all involved to
then make the play. So there's a spirituality on the
actual drop itself, skill on the throw itself, and then
there's just a sense of overall or a knack for
getting the ball off. Like at times when you're back there,
how many times you see guys drop back like all right,
hill Mary times sack, Oh, it's time for a hill

(14:24):
Mary's sack, and they just they can't figure out how
to drop back and actually throw the football. Rogers throws
these moon balls like it goes up into orbit and
then it drops down with the perfect amount of room
and it hits the guy who's actually the jumper. You know,
there's a guy designated to jump. He's really not even
supposed to catch it. Catch it if you can. Otherwise

(14:45):
it's supposed to tip it. And then one of the
guys is supposed to be around there either before, behind
her in front to catch the tipball.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
We lost my last year in school.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
So that's where that's where Rogers combines his technical skills,
his skill in general and build to throw the football,
but also the spirituality.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
And I don't know if it's yahuasca or what we
want to point.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
To, but he's taken some spirit journeys and those journeys
that have led him down a path of hail Mary greatness.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
It was clean. It was clean, I mean just clean.
Catch went down Alan Lazard way to close up the half.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
That's the thing about Lazard is he has a game
like last night where he steps up and makes plays,
and then there's other games where he just he can't
seem to get into a rhythm, has some drops.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
It's on the same page. It's all. Yeah, it's just
it's frustrating at times.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
How about that guy dang throw where it went off
of the leg like they didn't even go out. It
was like almost like a gunshot, like he shot him
on the leg, hit the leg and went right into
the man's arms. That was lizard that caught that as well,
wasn't it. It was like third and fifteen or something
like that. Oh the tight throw where the guy had
his back to it was behind that It is sneak underneath.

(15:57):
He threw that bad boy. I mean he threw it
in his chest. What like there was nothing, nothing dude,
I had to do other than be where he was at.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
I think that was if they could just keep him
up right, man, he can still sling it, But it
seems like he takes longer and longer to get up
now when he gets hit, like they're just they're wearing
him out. And if they got to see TJ. Watt
next week, I mean, good luck with that.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Hey, And by the way, Josh Allen played his ass off. Yeah,
he competed. He competed, May plays when he needed to
make plays, may throws when he needed to make throws.
I mean they they sputtered at times, but he found
the way.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
The story can't just be Rogers. I mean, yeah, Allen's
one of the best in the league for a reason.
He showcased that absolutely.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
By the way, because we did take the whole segment
talking about the fact that dysfunction will always supersede skills
functional dysfunction.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe. Here
on Fox Sports, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you.
So we are gonna have the usual later on guys,
do you go Pumpkin?

Speaker 3 (17:07):
I brought vanilla French vanilla old school, but it's really good.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yeah, it worked out.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
I drink mine black. Yeah, I know you like yeah,
you and Lee, that's a great point. We're gonna have
another Lee has been getting creamy, like that's a little
creamer in his coffee?

Speaker 2 (17:25):
You really so it looks like.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
So we're gonna have another edition of in case you
missed it later on this hour. We've also got the
return of the BQ Top fifteen in College Football. An
hour two of the program, Pete Prisco's gonna stop by.
There's a lot of questions for Pete this week he
and he needs to provide some answers, and we'll close
up shop with another edition of Lee's Leftovers as we
take you all the way up until nine am Eastern time,

(17:51):
six o'clock Spacific. Coming up next here though from the
tire rack dot Com Studios. Somebody feels bad regrettable moment
in the NFL. But should they feel as bad as
they do, you'll hear from them next here on FSR.

Speaker 7 (18:05):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on Fox
Sports Radio. I mean, look, don't you forget hey man?
Trying to keep you up on it.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Yeah, our game, that is, so we Saturdays at noon
on Eastern time.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
That's right. There you go, that's right. The undercard turn
into the main event this week though, that's for sure.
It's always the main event on Saturday coming up.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
In a little over fifteen minutes back and forth, heater,
I don't know the backstory, so I'm not going to
chime on dad, that's all good.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
No, just you know, little up on game ye aks talk,
you know, not just up pointing.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Hey, what sounds like Jonas was a part of a
on game this weekend.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
That's what it sounds like up on game. I mean what, okay,
was he I don't know. I didn't hear the show,
so he says he was, so apparently I guess he was.
I mean, he he hasn't come to me and said
he was joking, So I'm assuming that he did both shows.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
I think he's lying. I guess.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
My question is I'm a little bit baffled by this
is how you, of all people know.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Well, because I was at games all day, like I
was at my daughter's volleyball I was, so I mean,
how would I was under the impression that that there
were other people that were doing the show so and
that we've been doing the show for so long. I
didn't have any concerns as to you know, that scenario.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
It sounds like that wasn't what happened.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
It sounds as though that isn't what happened though, correct.
So I don't know, you know, which it was one show.
I mean they you never know what Jonas can do.
Try to sabotage me exactly. Yeah, I agree with you.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Takes show and then all of a sudden.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
He turns into being really good after he uh gets
back to the next The next show.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
After that was like four hours of domination.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Oh yeah, yeah, Jonas knocks Carry Rhoades and Ephraim Saloon.
I mean, are up on game there you go. Wow,
I'm just seeing this.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
I had to go to the bullpen, you know, came
out throwing gas. Got that right. At least you know
where you're coming from. You know. It's funny too. His
name's on everything. Yeah, man, gotta let him know.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Many it's all good though, you know, good for you.
Probably the most listeners you've ever had on the weekend
since the Q. How many times did you promote the
JK S show.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Oh man, what a world to be able to tease
yourself at the end of the prior show. Oh glorious,
greatest tease of all time.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
Now realized, Wow, I got so many text messages of
people saying that I'll wait until next week.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Are you on next week?

Speaker 7 (21:05):
Damn?

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Now it makes sense.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Messed up man, trying to keep trying to keep you
up on it. So go ahead, let's talk, all right,
So you guys want to hear Nick Sirianni, who got
a little bit of criticism.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
You're going to talk a little bit of a heat
for his.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Behavior at the end of the Eagles Browns game over
the weekend. Well, apparently he took it upon himself quote
unquote to apologize for his actions.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Let's take a listen what I was really doing.

Speaker 8 (21:38):
I was trying to bring energy yesterday. And I'm sorry
and disappointed on how my energy was directed at the
end of the game. And you know, my energy should
be all in on coaching, motivating, right and celebrating with
our guys, you know, and I got to have better
wisdom and discernment of when to use that energy.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
And that wasn't and that wasn't the time. You know what,
I'm gonna defend Nick Sirianni here, all right, Well, yeah
it's good. He came out and owned up to it.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Right, Yeah, of course it is. But I look at
it and I go, this guy's had his job on
the line in a situation where I don't know how
many other organizations a coach with his record and his
run to start off his career there would have to
be fighting for their job at this point. And so yeah,
he gets a little fired up at the end of
a game and starts barking back at some of those

(22:28):
blow hard fans in Philadelphia who are giving him heat
and a hard time. Good for Nick Sirianni and him apologizing.
He probably felt like he had to do it, but
he probably doesn't feel that bad about it, considering guys
like nineteen games over five hundred, eighteen games over five hundred,
he's been to the playoffs every year, they were in
a Super Bowl a couple of years ago, and yet
he's having to try and convince people he's the right

(22:49):
guy for the job.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Good for Nick Sirianni.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
I'm the same dude from day one since playing horse
with with Gardner Minshew or whoever it was he was
playing against, and that's how he did his job. Interview
me been the same type of dude, and listen, Fans
can be interesting and they can say interesting things, and
sometimes people, you know, don't really enjoy the things that

(23:14):
are said to him. Now he's a coach, and when
a coach does things like that, a coach is going
to be judged differently because they're held to a different
standard regardless, right, Like, don't handle things like a captain.
I heard somebody referencing on one of our shows that
they said Ap acts more like a player than he
does a coach. He you know, he does things that

(23:36):
like he acts like a captain would or something like that.
People hold coaches to a different standard in terms of
what their conduct should be, which they should because that
is all intensive purposes. That is the person that is
running the team and really in a lot of ways
the organization because of the way, you know, things have
to be handled as so totally based and continued upon

(23:58):
what the head coach wants. So you got to conduct
yourself in a way that's more considered to be acceptable
to the public and you can't be seen I guess
having those types of feelings. But to me, that's who
Nick Sirianni has been from day one, So why I
expect him to be something like, Okay, he apologize, but

(24:21):
you know that that's Nick Sirianni, Like that's that's his
his way. So so what like he did, he said
the apology, great, moving on. I wouldn't be offended or
hurt by it if he did it again. Two three weeks,
four weeks, you get a big win against Dallas, somebody,
you beat Washington whatever it may be, and somebody's talking

(24:43):
head to him out of out of the stands and
he says something back, So.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
What it's Nick Sirianni.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
You know, it's kind of like, uh, what's what's the
basketball player in Golden State?

Speaker 2 (24:53):
You know, you come to experience, you expect it. Yeah,
so who cares? I mean, I guess I look good
it this way.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
It's nicely owned up to it and apologized. However, it
was pretty apparent the tactics after the game. You know,
you get caught getting into it with a fan after
a win, mind you, where as a head coach, that
should be.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
The last thing that's on your mind.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
I mean, there's so many things you're in control over.
There's so many things you should be getting prepared for
to talk to your coaching staff about, talk to your
players about, and instead you're arguing and fighting with Philly fans.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
I just like, what's the upside? What's the reward there?

Speaker 4 (25:42):
It comes off as a guy who's in his first
year as a head coach who's never been in this
position before, but as Jonas has laid out, that's not
the case, and in fact, he's had a tenure that
has been successful.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
So the fact that.

Speaker 4 (25:57):
He feels like he needs to do that, or even
if that's part of his personality or emotions, it's like.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Grow up, Like grow up at some point, like you
don't need to do this.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
You're you're you're You've got players who are looking at
you and what it's a terrible example to set. The
other part is that they're looking at you going is
this what you would want us to do? I mean,
in all seriousness, like they're looking at him going, this
guy's a flipping child.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
What are you doing? What other head coach is doing that?

Speaker 4 (26:29):
With fans like this, in particularly at home after a win,
it's just bizarre.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
So I understand the apology.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
That's great, but to do that, and then, let's be real,
he kind of used his kids as a shield, right, Like,
your kids are up there with you, it's probably harder
to ask tougher questions that are gonna get him him upset. Right, Yeah,
that's that's what kids are for, right, Good call Jonas

(26:59):
you maybe maybe yours will come show up on your
solo show on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
We need a bilingual audience.

Speaker 4 (27:05):
But in all seriousness, everyone knew exactly what he was doing.
It wasn't like it wasn't like it was disguised in
any way. It was like, yeah, he wants to kind
of buffer this situation and have one of his kids
up there. It's just the whole thing to me was distasteful.

(27:27):
It you can there's two things that play here. There's
always been kind of rumors and murders that there's some
people who are just kind of tired.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Of his antics. And that is one example of going okay,
I can see that.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
I can see why as a player, a talented roster,
everything else going on, and you hire these coordinators who
each have a great reputation of their own, where you've
got that a head coach who as a head coach
obviously has been successful. However, his reputation coming into it
was anywhere close. I mean, Kellen Moore's called more plays
than Nick Sirianni had when he got there. And you

(28:05):
look at Vic Fangio, he's been a long time defensive
coordinator well respect in the league, and you just you
kind of look at the situation and go, yeah, I
don't kind of wondering right now, like looking at the
offense and the way it's not working as well as
you know Kellen moore offenses have in the past. And
then you start looking at, for example, the wide receivers
route charts.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
Whether it's Devonte Smith a J. Brown.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
Granted they haven't been, as you know, healthy, but so
far earlier on the season it seems very limited. Well,
why is that the case? Is that Kellen Morris choosing
or is that Nick Sirianni kind of handcuffing what Kellen
Moore can do or what this offense can do, whatever,
however you want to look at it. If they don't
improve offensively and start playing up to their capabilities, he's

(28:50):
the guy who's going to take the fall. It's not
gonna be Jalen Hurts. It's not gonna be any players.
It's not gonna be the coordinators. He's probably gonna be
the guy that ends up taking the fall when it's
all said and done. For these sorts of antics, for
these sorts of reasons that we've seen over the year.
His success as a head coach you can't deny. But
the problem is is Howie Roseman has moved on from

(29:10):
guys before who've had success and purely because he feels like,
for whatever reason, that time's over. You know, they're they're underachieving,
so they got to figure some things out quick and
he needs to figure out a way of bottling up
those emotions so you don't give them any extra ammunition
to be the guy when things aren't.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
Working out and you end up being the fall guy
for it all. The guy who deserves some heat is
Big Dom. Do your job.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
Where's he at in that his role is to protect
Nick Sirianni, protect him from those hooligans that are giving
him a hard time, or do something about it and
go have a conversation with him so it doesn't get
to that point.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
I think Big Dom needs to be held accountable for this.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
Or maybe Big Dom needs to, you know, be the
one that talks to the fans. How would he talk
to them? Like, what would be the vag wait to talk? Hey,
hey buddy, hey buddy, you know, leave Nick alone. He's good,
We gotta we gotta vit. Victory, today's good.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
What if they're not, like they don't want to have
a face to face because they're intimidated. Is there like
a way they could communicate that would be better and
and be successful?

Speaker 3 (30:18):
Heay, sure, Hey, hey buddy, hey, listen our thanks to

Good morning everybody, Now Morning showed us.

Speaker 9 (32:38):
Good morning Brady, Good morning LeVar.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Hey he's coming guys.

Speaker 6 (32:45):
In case you missed this, Hey LeVar, in case you
missed this, Oklahoma States Mike.

Speaker 9 (32:50):
Gundy is actually hey Brady.

Speaker 6 (32:52):
He's actually missed his uh his media session in person,
that is, he was able to make it via zoom
and gave this explanation for why he couldn't make it.

Speaker 10 (33:00):
Well, I had a little run in with my cattle
over the weekend, and I guess they've been watching this
play and uh, we.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
Got head budded.

Speaker 10 (33:13):
So I've got a I've got a bad eye that
I didn't think would be particularly enjoyable for people when
they were looking at my pretty face in a live interview.
But more importantly, it's it's full of blood, and I
get dizzy and it so it's not easy to be

(33:34):
upright and being a normal function. But other than that,
I'm doing great.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Interesting headbutted by a cow. Huh, I'm sure he did.
You're not buying that. Now, what do you think is.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
The what do you think he did that? Why asking me?
That's I'm the one that just said I don't believe it.
I didn't deny it. I just said I don't believe it.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
So what do you think happened?

Speaker 4 (33:59):
I don't, No, don't believe it. Wouldn't that be the
same as denying what he's saying.

Speaker 3 (34:05):
No, no, it's not. I'm not denying that. Of what
that would mean then, just because I don't believe it
doesn't mean that I'm denying what he said.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
I just don't believe him. Well, I mean, what's you know?
What's that don't make any sense? It's a ton of sense.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
I mean the guy, you know, he he could have
been looking the other way picking something up and the
cow inadvertently bumped into him.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
And you know big head, you know, caved in Mike
Gundy's face and you know he's got a concussion.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
Now, like, I buy it. I think it's a real story.
You should. So what do you think is the real story?

Speaker 3 (34:39):
If not denying that it happened, something happened. I just
don't believe that that's what exactly happened. Something else probably happened,
but he put it on old Joey to mule, you
know what I mean talking about that that call and
in the south pastor, you know, in the south field,
what do you think he was like, I don't know,
man Neil or something told somebody at the bar or something,

(35:03):
and they didn't like what he said and they popped him.
You know, he could have been at home and you
know said somebody shouldn't have said at home and he
got popped.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
You know, Lee would know.

Speaker 8 (35:15):
Lee.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Are you buying this story? Yes?

Speaker 9 (35:17):
I am buying the story. And go, okay, call Mallar.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
I did say he's lying, Yeah I did. He's lying.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
He's lying, But go it we better coach, Yeah, get
that blood out your eye player, damn.

Speaker 9 (35:31):
No, Patrino here, guys.

Speaker 6 (35:33):
In case you missed this, aiden Hutchinson has successfully undergone
surgery and is expected to miss four to six months.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
Some people are kind of tossing around the idea of,
you know, if they make the super Bowl, you know,
maybe maybe.

Speaker 2 (35:48):
He could be a really fast run right.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
Yeah, I mean that's a right at the four month
that's a tough injury to come back from. Man, even
if he could do it, I would I would strongly
suggest that he makes sure that that bone is fully
healed and that you know, all of the muscle and
all the functionality of it is all back and and

(36:12):
like in motion the right way before you get out there.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
Man, is he gonna be the same player after an injury? Like?
You never know.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
That's the thing about football, man, You just never one
singular moment can redefine your entire career.

Speaker 2 (36:28):
Man, You just you never know. You never know.

Speaker 6 (36:33):
What else we got, guys, In case you missed this,
interesting comments from Houston Texans coach Damiko Ryans as they
prepare to face off against Green Bay this week, saying
that Jordan Love is the best quarterback we've seen this year.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Who's he played against?

Speaker 9 (36:47):
They just beat Josh Allen and the Bills?

Speaker 2 (36:50):
Who else? Did you know? The other list.

Speaker 9 (36:52):
Trevor Lawrence with the Jaguars, the Vikings, the Bears.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
Oh oh, I mean you're listing off the quarterbacks he's playings.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
That's one thing I would say, based on like their schedule,
it's another thing.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
I mean, it's not like they haven't played like the
easiest schedule. He's played well. He's he's played like one
of the top quarterbacks in the league this year.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
I mean it's also redit you know, it's also being
you know, grooved here.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
But is that taking a shot at Josh Allen. I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
It's more Lee just trying to you know, fan boy
it up over Jordan Love.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
It's legit, though.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
I mean he's played well better even in their losses,
He's played well.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Better than Josh Allen.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
He's up there, Jordan Love is up there, all right.
I mean, okay, you remember the lost in Minnesota, even that.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Was a tight game.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
I mean he's he's played extremely well this year.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
I mean, just based on that pick six against the Rams,
he's he's a bottom ten quarterback for me, just based
on that one throw.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
I mean, Lee, I don't know why they do this,
but what you mean they I was just asking the
qu I'm throwing you in there. No, come on, bar
just because go on, just because I.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
Don't subscribe to the fact that I denied the truth.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
You didn't believe it, but you denied it. But it's
not the same thing I did. Not quite perplexity. I'll
explain it to you one day.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
I need to figure this out.
