my wife. I go, I need to get off the phone.
I need to go find a restroom asap. And it
was to the point where I pull off on like
a road that I've been to before, so I kind
of knew there's a there's a bathroom, like close I
fly in there park. But now the tough part is
like I don't want to be the guy who uses
the restroom is not you know, and it like upsets

them because I'm not using anything else. And the register
havens to me right next to the restroom.

So I walk in. I look at the guy and I.

Look at the bathroom, and then he looks at me,
and I look at him, and I'm like, I'm gonna
go grab a bottle of water. So I go grab
a bottle of water quick, then I pay. I walk
around the corner, open up the bathroom door, and it's
one of those where it's like, you know, it's male
female whatever. Its just it's one toilet corner of the room,
that one hitter right next to the register. And so
I'm like, all right, they got to blow it down right, malfunction.

I go to try to lock the door door one lock.

Oh no.

In fact, like the handle had a hard time in general.
So now was sitting there, I'm like, oh my gosh,
what do I do. Like, I'm gonna be the guys
just everyone's gonna walk in on me taking it. I'm
just absolutely blowing this thing out. So as I was
standing there, I probably take thirty seconds to contemplate because
I'm like, I need to make a decision one way
or another.

But I kind of was feeling like, Okay, I'm like,
go I can do this. I can make it.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
I can make it down to the event where I'm going.
So I ended up just being like, screw it, it's
not worth it. I walk out with my bottle water
that was worthless, get in the car, have about twenty
minutes to go about ten minutes into it, I'm really
regretting this decision, really regretting it. But I pushed through
to make it to the event. I get there and

I was there, you know, going to interview someone. And
sure enough, because I'm early, I like was one of
the first people there. So everyone's like, oh, hey, we
haven't seen you in a while.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
How are you doing. I was like, I'm going great,
just ye, you know, trying to get through.
Speaker 6 (05:52):
Uh, just trying to go to the bathroom and bathroom
and then I run into the gentleman that I was interviewing,
and so then he wants to talk.

I'm like, oh gosh, this is so bad.
Speaker 6 (06:01):
And at one point I literally had to cut him
Off'm like sir, And it sounded like I just got shot.

Because I was like, I gotta go to the bathroom.
I got I was like, I'll talk to you a minute.

I just like ran off. Thank god I made it.
But it was like I turned. Everyone said what you
turned forty? It's going to be a problem, and I
was like, they're not lying. But now I've realized my
six year old got sick, my eight year old got
sick last night. I was like, okay, I think I've
got whatever they had because our loved, you know, nineteen

month old son, he was battling something.

I'm like, all right, it's making its course to our
house at this point.

Yeah, I thought first second was just that damn colbrew.

Oh gosh, yeah, well my son had something last week,
but it wasn't contagious.

Apparently he just like grabbed like he was at his
grandma's house and just reached in and grabbed just a

And my wife saw it and was like, oh no,
and just knew like this is not going to go well.

I mean, couldn't keep anything down for at least twenty
four out the mouth everywhere, like didn't make it home
out of the car ride.

up what the mess was in the in the car
seat with some sanitizer.

hose this thing down.

on as a kid.

We had an event last night for our charity, our
Third and Goal Foundation, and really cool deal one of
the radio stations here in town and High Bank Distiller,
which is a Burden whiskey distillery. Really successful and the
proceeds raised go go to our foundation. With Veterans Day
being Monday, et cetera. So my wife picks me up
for the airport. We go to the event, and at

no point when we're driving home do I think in myself,
Like I drove like my car is still sitting at
the airport. But I got so lost in like trying
to like just figure everything out yesterday logistically.

That I like. Then she was like, we got home
and she goes, where's your truck. I go, oh, it's
at the airport. So now at some.

Point today I've got to drive back out to the
airport to get my truck that's just sitting there and parking.
Trust me, as soon as My eight year old came down,
She's like, hey, I threw up. I was like, yeah,
this is going to be a really fun you know,
twenty four hours with with everything we've got going on.

Now, were you cutting it so close trying to get
to where he needed to go that you didn't have

Tennessee is that team that if they played IU head on,
I think Tennessee wins that game. But that being said,

go grab a bottle of water. So I go grab
a bottle of water quick, then I pay. I walk
around the corner, open up the bathroom door, and it's
one of those where it's like, you know, it's male
female whatever. Its just it's one toilet corner of the room,
that one hitter right next to the register. And so
I'm like, all right, they got to blow it down right, malfunction.

I go to try to lock the door door one lock.

In fact, like the handle had a hard time in general.
So now was sitting there, I'm like, oh my gosh,

standing there, I probably take thirty seconds to contemplate because
I'm like, I need to make a decision one way
or another.

But I kind of was feeling like, Okay, I'm like,
go I can do this. I can make it.

I can make it down to the event where I'm going.
So I ended up just being like, screw it, it's
not worth it. I walk out with my bottle water

minutes to go about ten minutes into it, I'm really

Tennessee has lost one. But to me, when I think
of the Tennessee football team I've watched out of the
course of the year, you'd be hard pressed to find
or say that they don't have a better defense. They

had absolutely studs on that side the ball. It's been
the most consistent part of their team this year. They
also have a ground game. And you know, when Nico's
playing well, he's you know, to me, not playing to
the level of Dylan Gabriel, Will Howard, even quinn Ewers
He's played really well this year when he's been healthy,
Drew Aller, but he's he's up there like he's a

part of that conversation, and I think he's got the
capability of kind of flourishing into that. So I think
Tennessee is that team that if they played IU head on,
I think Tennessee wins that game. But that being said,
that's one of the biggest differences IU I had at six.
I think you know, the College FOTBA playoff comanty put
them at five, so it wasn't too far off. Not

here name I've got a seven, you know, I believe
they've got him at what eight something like that. So yes,
you know, if you look at it, there's not too
many that are off. It's just kind of a mixture
of and of seeding basically from from teams five through ten,
which those are all teams with the exception of IU

hasn't played anyone. They play Ohio State next week. That's
gonna be their their big test. They've got to buy
this week. And then b Yu's actually played a much
more difficult schedule, but I mean they have been playing
it close to the vest, as Utah fans will tell
you this week, getting the benefit of a defensive holding
penalty that otherwise would have ended that game last week.

That, And then there's like the Alabama Old Miss Georgia
two loss thing where you're like, all right, who's been been?

how you see those two fit. But look, it's gonna

this year who didn't it wasn't responsible for hiring Lincoln Riley.

At least with Caleb there, you thought, okay, like they're
they're a contender. They are, howe many games away from
maybe playing in the playoff, a fourteen playoff. That has
not been the case for Southern Cal this year. So
there's a I think there's a thought too of you know,
what is what is this team going to be? You know,

the world, but a little credit to UCLA and Deshaun Foster.

And if you look at those two programs, UCLA is

like everything they do is trying so hard to make
the game more attractive, more appealing, and I think we're
to the point where you're either an NBA fan and
you still like the style of play, or you're not.

Those are essentially the two things that you've got to
play like. It's very polarizing right now. I think it's
just to me, it's a harder product to watch than
any other sport, in part because you spread out around
the perimeter shoot a bunch of threes. That's essentially it's
some isolation basketball.
