Speaker 1 (00:43):
Let's give this.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Hey look at that new open. Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio. He is LeVar Arrington.

This is what you chose to go with.
Speaker 2 (01:05):

Speaker 1 (01:10):
You ever heard of that band?
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Five fists thirty six Crazy fi finger from Alaska. Oh,

we're doing it all live from the tire rack dot

a protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers tire rack
(01:34):
dot com The way tire.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Buying should be.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
By the way, LeVar just got me a little bit
concerned about, you know, current medical situation.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
We'll see why. That's not simple math to you know,
I just don't know how one leads to the next.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
All right, C So uh, we're talking about an ingrown
toe now right, supposedly an ingrown toew. It could be
something different, Q, but ingrown toew. If you allow the
ingrown tonel to continue to do what it does, it
generates this thing called an infection. Like it creates this deal.
It's an infection. Once it gets infected. If you don't
(02:20):
address it like immediately, bro, then it turns into something different.
And then after it turns into something different, way they
gotta do.
Speaker 5 (02:29):
Chop it off.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
There you go, I said this.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
I said this as to them, Lee laughed, and Ton
has looked at me like, you gotta be kidding me.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Because it went from ingrown toenail to removing an entire tone.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Don't mess around with that so you don't have to
end up losing your toe. I mean, that's listen to
the man. I'm just giving you real advice. What is
this Gettysburg freakingly much freakingly laughed.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
I'm like Lee, that's funny.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Like the dude's toad is gonna get infected it and
not have to be chopped up like.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
He's like, yeah, you guys act like Lee's Like Lee's
ever had a wound on this show that may have
looked infected like.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
He looks like he's from Gettysburg late, it looks like
he's infected. How can you get infected when you're already infected?
So he don't play about the same rule. So if
you think you're gonna get the same outcome, you're in trouble.
Speaker 6 (03:24):
Yes, boys, I'm fighting it today. I don't know what's happening,
but in our family we've had like a whole little
virus skilled.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
Same I'm fighting bro, I don't know where it's at
on you, but it's in my sinuses.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
I'm like gonna not in my sinuses, much closer to
my lower extremities, if you know what I mean. Oh, buddy,
I had to go down to the speaking engagement. So
as soon as I got done with radio yesterday, I changed.
You got to put on a suit and everything. I
started to head down and I just turned forty and
I'm like, I get on the road. I'm literally talk
(04:00):
my wife. I go, I need to get off the phone.
I need to go find a restroom asap. And it
was to the point where I pull off on like
a road that I've been to before, so I kind
of knew there's a there's a bathroom, like close I
fly in there park. But now the tough part is
like I don't want to be the guy who uses
the restroom is not you know, and it like upsets
(04:20):
them because I'm not using anything else. And the register
havens to me right next to the restroom.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
So I walk in. I look at the guy and I.
Speaker 6 (04:26):
Look at the bathroom, and then he looks at me,
and I look at him, and I'm like, I'm gonna
go grab a bottle of water. So I go grab
a bottle of water quick, then I pay. I walk
around the corner, open up the bathroom door, and it's
one of those where it's like, you know, it's male
female whatever. Its just it's one toilet corner of the room,
that one hitter right next to the register. And so
I'm like, all right, they got to blow it down right, malfunction.
(04:54):
I go to try to lock the door door one lock.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Oh no.
Speaker 6 (04:58):
In fact, like the handle had a hard time in general.
So now was sitting there, I'm like, oh my gosh,
what do I do. Like, I'm gonna be the guys
just everyone's gonna walk in on me taking it. I'm
just absolutely blowing this thing out. So as I was
standing there, I probably take thirty seconds to contemplate because
I'm like, I need to make a decision one way
or another.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
But I kind of was feeling like, Okay, I'm like,
go I can do this. I can make it.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
I can make it down to the event where I'm going.
So I ended up just being like, screw it, it's
not worth it. I walk out with my bottle water
that was worthless, get in the car, have about twenty
minutes to go about ten minutes into it, I'm really
regretting this decision, really regretting it. But I pushed through
to make it to the event. I get there and
(05:38):
I was there, you know, going to interview someone. And
sure enough, because I'm early, I like was one of
the first people there. So everyone's like, oh, hey, we
haven't seen you in a while.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
How are you doing. I was like, I'm going great,
just ye, you know, trying to get through.
Speaker 6 (05:52):
Uh, just trying to go to the bathroom and bathroom
and then I run into the gentleman that I was interviewing,
and so then he wants to talk.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
I'm like, oh gosh, this is so bad.
Speaker 6 (06:01):
And at one point I literally had to cut him
Off'm like sir, And it sounded like I just got shot.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Because I was like, I gotta go to the bathroom.
I got I was like, I'll talk to you a minute.
Speaker 6 (06:12):
I just like ran off. Thank god I made it.
But it was like I turned. Everyone said what you
turned forty? It's going to be a problem, and I
was like, they're not lying. But now I've realized my
six year old got sick, my eight year old got
sick last night. I was like, okay, I think I've
got whatever they had because our loved, you know, nineteen
(06:32):
month old son, he was battling something.
Speaker 5 (06:34):
I'm like, all right, it's making its course to our
house at this point.
Speaker 6 (06:37):
Yeah, I thought first second was just that damn colbrew.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Oh gosh, yeah, well my son had something last week,
but it wasn't contagious.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
I think he just like, what do you mean?
Speaker 2 (06:49):
Well, I didn't even want to tell this story. Go ahead,
tell It's just there's so many jokes that are going
to be able to tell it.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
He ate some.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Uh not prepared masa. He was at his grandmother's house.
She was getting ready to make like tortilla like and
just you know, like make some stuff, and he thought,
is this like.
Speaker 5 (07:10):
A common problem for Megan culturally? I am very ignorant
so kids sits from keds.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Apparently he just like grabbed like he was at his
grandma's house and just reached in and grabbed just a
fistful and ate it, thinking that it was like bread
or I don't know what.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
He thought it was like, you know, crumb. I have
no idea.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
And my wife saw it and was like, oh no,
and just knew like this is not going to go well.
Because she probably did it when she was a kid.
So when I saw you on the set dodging flying tortillas,
it was like, well, I mean yeah, like that's you know,
at least they're cooked, because if they're not.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
He it was bad last week, Like what what was
what happened?
Speaker 2 (07:58):
I mean, couldn't keep anything down for at least twenty
four out the mouth everywhere, like didn't make it home
out of the car ride.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Oh ride, and.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
My wife thinks she's my wife, thinks she's gonna clean
up what the mess was in the in the car
seat with some sanitizer.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Wives like yes, yeah, he's a big boy. That's a
big boy.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Vo now listen, uh, like we're gonna have to like
hose this thing down.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
You're in a big problem.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
So yeah, it wasn't anything that we caught or contagious,
but that's one of those things to where the smell
that's left back on whatever you happen to lose it
on as a kid.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
It just sits a little bit worse than everything else.
But it's weird.
Speaker 5 (08:45):
Your car hers hers say that it's time to do
a car for you.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Well, I mean it wouldn't matter because all he had
to do was pull out the hose and just hose
that bad That's true.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
I mean, doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
He could hose that thing down with no problem. That
is not a luxury car at all. You have no words.
You'd beating, vomited and not good. That's try I gave me,
you know, new sin. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
Wow, you're taking care of this thing? Now? What's that?
What's that? What's that fragrance that Aroma called? I don't
get this in car washes, the.
Speaker 6 (09:22):
Elements and times where I was taking to myself, what
would Lee to Lap do? Which I am curious because
we were texting with Lee last night.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
Lee Lee would have comfortably sat down be like, hey buddy,
everybody for him, Hey buddy, here's.
Speaker 5 (09:37):
The problem is the whole reason I flew down was
for this interview.
Speaker 6 (09:40):
And I kept thinking to myself, I can't let this
happen because if I do, like what am I gonna say?
That's the sole purpose that I was here, and I
crapped myself where I was that in Miami?
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Okay?
Speaker 6 (09:53):
All right, yeah, all right, but there you no, no, no,
I came back last night. I don't even I want
to get into the night at a charity event I
had to go to. So stupid dude, it was this
is My wife looks at me. She's like, I can
tell you're not feeling good because you're not thinking clearly.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
So I drove to the airport. I parked at the airport.
Speaker 6 (10:14):
We had an event last night for our charity, our
Third and Goal Foundation, and really cool deal one of
the radio stations here in town and High Bank Distiller,
which is a Burden whiskey distillery. Really successful and the
proceeds raised go go to our foundation. With Veterans Day
being Monday, et cetera. So my wife picks me up
for the airport. We go to the event, and at
(10:36):
no point when we're driving home do I think in myself,
Like I drove like my car is still sitting at
the airport. But I got so lost in like trying
to like just figure everything out yesterday logistically.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
That I like. Then she was like, we got home
and she goes, where's your truck. I go, oh, it's
at the airport. So now at some.
Speaker 6 (10:53):
Point today I've got to drive back out to the
airport to get my truck that's just sitting there and parking.
Trust me, as soon as My eight year old came down,
She's like, hey, I threw up. I was like, yeah,
this is going to be a really fun you know,
twenty four hours with with everything we've got going on.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Now, were you cutting it so close trying to get
to where he needed to go that you didn't have
time to put down a.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Seat cover on the on the toilet because I've had that.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
Oh yeah, yeah no.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Well it's like asking somebody if they voted and who
they voted for.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Bro, that's I went too far there, man.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
I'll answer the question seat covers.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
So of course, I mean, come on, man, don't ask
nobody if he went raw or if he you know,
if he protected himself.
Speaker 5 (11:40):
Oh no, I have standing.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
We're all dads here.
Speaker 5 (11:42):
I mean I have standards.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
So I mean I listen, you're at forty you have standards.
You get to forty six, and that that a standards
might tend to go down a little bit, man, Like
sometimes you are forced to raw dog right man, right
Sometime there sometimes that whole idea, Oh let me line
the let me line this this, this is very nicely
(12:06):
and neatly, and this that like sometimes it's like uh yeah,
I'll take the physical challenge, and at.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
A certain point you're just praying on the way down
that the seat's not warm, because there's nothing worse than
a warm toilet seat in a public what there's nothing worse?
Speaker 5 (12:20):
Yeah, why do you think about this stuff? John us?
Speaker 1 (12:22):
Tell me I'm wrong. I've never heard of this like.
Speaker 5 (12:25):
That that he's basically saying, someone just got up.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Oh oh.
Speaker 6 (12:32):
The problem is when you when you live somewhere where
it gets cold, if you go to like a public
sporting event or game, you're you're gonna.
Speaker 5 (12:39):
Feel that if you have to go in public. Because
that's the problem. That's that's what one of those things up.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
That has always been my biggest deal. Don't do it
in public.
Speaker 5 (12:48):
Oh you don't want to wear games, you don't.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Want to do it in public.
Speaker 6 (12:51):
Man, I thought for a second, I was twenty minutes
in the drive. I was like, if I turn around
now to forty more minutes, but and then plus whatever
time it takes me.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
But second, take a home game.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
But once you start, once you once you start getting
to a certain point, you gotta you gotta adjust an
adapt times.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
It's like it's evolution. Man.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
I never publicly, never used the public John ever ever, other.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Than just one one, one time. You know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (13:19):
Number one, You're good. You never you know that warm feeling,
the warm feeling.
Speaker 7 (13:27):
Yeah that was me, by the way, Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 8 (13:30):
See, I'm selective enough where I'm not going to go
to a place that has a lot of foot traffic.
Like if it's just you know, a public place, I'm
gonna believe I don't.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Feel like I believe you. I feel like there's not
a commode that you couldn't connect with and be one
with traffic. Well, that one looks too busy, and I
know what you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
It's the room.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Room right off of right off of your your flight.
That's that's too much foot traffic. You gotta go to
the one that's in the middle. Okay, Okay, I'm.
Speaker 7 (14:01):
Pretty good at finding ones that like are yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Off the you gotta go. We gotta go to the
one that's really far away and baggage claim. That's the
one nobody ever goes to.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Like like you've got a drone flying over every crap
closet in the airport, Dude, you gotta go, you gotta go.
Speaker 8 (14:16):
You know how I find these things, and you know
I'll hold it if I have to, crazy.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
Man, but I thought they just gave me too much,
like half an hour or something.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
And if you can't hold then you're getting old. That's
all I'm gonna tell you. But also, yeah, and you
had better figure that as out, because let me tell
you something, that thing is that is very real.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
You never want to you never want to be the one.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
That experiences the touchdown when you didn't touch down. If
you dig what I'm saying, So there you go. That's
that's some there's some more advice for y'all.
Speaker 8 (14:48):
Also, the tissue sheet, I don't really use that often.
The cover, the sea cover, what do you mean? I
hardly ever use that? So you just go beer but
every time.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Yeah, what Yeah?
Speaker 7 (15:02):
It really does nothing for you.
Speaker 8 (15:03):
Are there's no there's You're not gonna get sick, You're
not gonna get gross off of it.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
Nothing, nothing's happenings lead the la can we dump that?
Did that?
Speaker 5 (15:13):
Did that?
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Already? Go over to a disgusting thing I've ever heard of.
Speaker 7 (15:17):
It does nothing for you. It's placebo effect.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
Why do you say that there's a layer of something lee?
Speaker 6 (15:24):
You said, that's how that's that's like saying you shouldn't use,
you know, toilet papers, use your hand.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
That's essentially they're like, yeah, said, They're like exactly exactly,
Like what do you mean, you guys. I mean it's
proven your hand can work just as good as a
piece of toilet paper.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
Hello, hey, Lee man, you should have stayed away. I'm
just gonna tell.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
You, Coop Coop agrees with me. By the way, we're
don't put don't throw Coop under the bus. He's not
there to defend himself. Is he in there?
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Coop? Are you there?
Speaker 7 (15:56):
No, he's not. You're all having the conversation here. I
was equally disgusted.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Okay, I'm trying to educate these fellas that you can.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Get S, t I S and things from toilet seats.
Speaker 7 (16:08):
So you can get you can.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
Get hepatitis B, and you can get pubic lice from
stuff lies.
Speaker 7 (16:29):
For God's sake.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Here comes to here comes coat, Here comes.
Speaker 5 (16:38):
There we go.
Speaker 9 (16:39):
Now, first of all, that is bs lorena. That is
not true at all, And right here it says, in
terms of preventing illness and transmission of infectious disease, there's
no real evidence that toilet seat covers do that.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
William Schaffner.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
And you're thinking that that star Trek is going to
tell you that there's no proven there's no proof that says.
Speaker 9 (17:05):
That your Shatner Schaeffer. I'm just telling you, University School
of Medicine.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
You know he's smart. That's even worse. His last name
is the Shaft.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
That's even worse.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Bro.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
I'm just telling you right now. I'm telling you right now.
That's why y'all look the way y'all look, man, That's
why y'all look the way that y'all look.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
That's all I'm gonna say that is man. Yeah, the same.
Speaker 6 (17:36):
Dan, real quick, create an update on Lee's sobriety. Mm yeah,
did he end up drinking last night?
Speaker 7 (17:43):
Stone sober?
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Baby? You sure bone dry and you went to a movie?
I did great?
Speaker 5 (17:50):
Now one drink?
Speaker 1 (17:52):
Uh no, not when.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
Good for you? Dude, that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
I tried then we keep this try to uh tempt him. Yeah.
Lamar showed a picture of a.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Bottle, a bottle of Long Island like at least trying
to like really get over this thing.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
And Lamar's like, hey, check out this bottle of booze.
I got I finished it off.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
I mean I was drinking it right there when y'all,
when y'all was sending messages, I had a nice little
fill too, you know what I mean, A nice little deal,
nice little thrill.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Well, listen, I did it for.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Both of us, Lee, I appreciate that you two dirty
butt mother lovers.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Boy. I tell you what, y'all will never be invited
to my crib.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
Well, if it's two dudes that will be exist let
me tell you something. If it's two dudes that will
be excluded from being invited to my crib, and you
andre at least put never toilet paper down on the scene,
never come to like what are you guys doing?
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Never come to my crib.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
And if you do, if you do, I am literally
following you guys around the whole entire time with like
a spring bottle of ammonia and and uh and alcohol
to go behind you wipe it down. You feilthy at first?
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Literally that like we just identified patient zero, Like that's patients.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
That dude says, I go rall back every time. Oh yeah, listen,
you're not running the risk of anything. No, it's that's normal.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
It's literally the dirtiest place on earth, Like the dirtiest
place on Earth is a public toilet seat.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
Well, you know, the dirtiest place on Earth is actually
your cell phone. You know, you collect way more germs
than any I don't even want to, like I don't
want to, but that's that's you know, it is what
it is with the handles, the seat like stuff that's
coming out. You do know you could get like pink
eye from that whole process. You wash your hands.
Speaker 8 (19:45):
It's not like I'm gonna go wipe and then to
face watch you wash your ass.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Oh my god, it gets a break. Please get us
two pros and.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Radio.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if he thought that.
I just want to talk about the college football playoff
and all that we can do it.
Speaker 5 (20:13):
But you know we can do it.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
Next second, I'll tell you what this got really Essie,
like real about Yeah, I want to talk.
Speaker 6 (20:20):
Some talk about Doke Kentucky basketball break Cats Cats.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Cats, damn it. Cooper Flags a stud.
Speaker 5 (20:29):
But dude, he is the real deal.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
Yeah, that was a rough finish for him. It is
two pros and a cup of Joe.
Speaker 2 (20:35):

knocks with you. Uh so we are gonna have the
usuals coming up later on, we do have another edition

Awards we're going to hand out. We're also going to

and then the old pe Petros Papadakas is going to stop.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Buy an hour three.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
It's all yours here, but coming up next, Yes, we
will get to the bottom of how things were moved around,
how things were kind of jockeyed into position. But what
does it mean long term for the college football playoff.
We'll have that discussion with you right here on FSR.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Oh my God, Lee can't fine touched LeVar on the
shoulder and LeVar put sanitizer on his jacket.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Don't to me mad, That ain't funny. That funny, oh Man.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you hare. So
we are going to have another edition of In case
you missed it coming up here a little over fIF
teen minutes from now, and fairly certain we all missed it,
so we'll get into that discussion for you here on
Fox Sports Radio. So, yes, the college football Playoff rankings
came out, the updated version. Brady quit any surprises, any takeaways?
(22:14):
How are you with your performance on these predictions from yesterday?
Speaker 6 (22:18):
I mean, we could pull up the Google doc if
you guys are still using that unless Lee's.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
In the bathroom, you know, raw dog.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
And when I come here, I'm here, all right? So Oregon, OSU, Texas,
Penn State top four.
Speaker 5 (22:35):
Those are all the same. Yeah, those are all the same.
Speaker 6 (22:38):
The first difference becomes, I believe where I have Tennessee
and the College Football Playoff has Tennessee, which now gredit
Tennessee has lost one. But to me, when I think
of the Tennessee football team I've watched out of the
course of the year, you'd be hard pressed to find
or say that they don't have a better defense. They
(22:58):
had absolutely studs on that side the ball. It's been
the most consistent part of their team this year. They
also have a ground game. And you know, when Nico's
playing well, he's you know, to me, not playing to
the level of Dylan Gabriel, Will Howard, even quinn Ewers
He's played really well this year when he's been healthy,
Drew Aller, but he's he's up there like he's a
(23:19):
part of that conversation, and I think he's got the
capability of kind of flourishing into that. So I think
Tennessee is that team that if they played IU head on,
I think Tennessee wins that game. But that being said,
that's one of the biggest differences IU I had at six.
I think you know, the College FOTBA playoff comanty put
them at five, so it wasn't too far off. Not
(23:40):
here name I've got a seven, you know, I believe
they've got him at what eight something like that. So yes,
you know, if you look at it, there's not too
many that are off. It's just kind of a mixture
of and of seeding basically from from teams five through ten,
which those are all teams with the exception of IU
and which I think you're concerned there's like you really
(24:03):
hasn't played anyone. They play Ohio State next week. That's
gonna be their their big test. They've got to buy
this week. And then b Yu's actually played a much
more difficult schedule, but I mean they have been playing
it close to the vest, as Utah fans will tell
you this week, getting the benefit of a defensive holding
penalty that otherwise would have ended that game last week.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
So there's some of.
Speaker 6 (24:23):
That, And then there's like the Alabama Old Miss Georgia
two loss thing where you're like, all right, who's been been?
How are we lumping these teams together? You have to
respect head to head, Ole Miss just be Georgia. Alabama
obviously beat you know, B Georgia as well, so that
those two have to be ahead of them depending on
how you see those two fit. But look, it's gonna
(24:44):
be a tremendous playoff. I think the one thing that
changes for me, it's a little upsetting, is the way
the seating impacts the home field advantage for some of
these teams, Like now no longer is Notre Dame and
Penn State's scheduled to play, which would have been awesome.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
That would have been dope.
Speaker 4 (24:57):
Yeah, they're saying Miami now, I think so like Miami
now that would be super interesting. Now there's history there,
there's history there, I know, but I'm talking. I love
to bring them them warm weather cats down up to
to to Happy Valley. Oh yeah, that's there's history. You
(25:19):
know the Fiesta Bowl. You know that Todd. We didn't
come here to be friends. We came here to to
basically kill y'all. You know Throan Brown when he got
off the planet. They got off, they came in fatigued.
Jim Johnson was the coach. They had Michael Irving, They
had Lorenzo what was Lorenzo high Smith? And and uh,
(25:43):
what's my man?
Speaker 1 (25:44):
He's my guy? To Why am I blanking on his
name right now? Anyway?
Speaker 4 (25:48):
They had they had a ton of ton of players
on that team. Man, well, who was the quarterback? Was
it Testa Verdi?
Speaker 9 (25:54):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (25:56):
No, it wasn't Steve wash it was it wasn't test
of I think it was Testa Verdi that was their
their quarterback. Not it wasn't Bernie Kozar? Was it Cozar?
Cozar might sound Cozar, I'm forgetting, I'm I'm I'm blanking anyway,
Uh meil Meil Bradton.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Was the running back that I was thinking about.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
Uh and and we had Ray Aim had had Michael
Irvin with them the alligator arms in that game, and
Trey Uh, Trey Bauer we had, we had Shane Conlin.
I might know that one of the one of the
godfathers of l b U. We had Pete Catopolis. You
get old miss.
Speaker 5 (26:36):
I believe if it was like right now, it'd be
old message.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
We got history with them too, you know, we owe
them because we kind of we had so many opt.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
Outs in last year's Cotton Bowl.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
That game, it just I was so embarrassed, like I
was riding over there with so many old miss and
there their chant and their like deal is so much
more sophisticated then. I was like, I felt like they
were making fun of us, And I was like, wait,
hold on, like awes that work, like okay, we say
we are, which is.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
Very simple, very to the point.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
But they had like their whole thing was like real sophisticated.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
So I don't know, I don't know how I felt
about that.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
I think I just was hoping for uh, for selfish purposes.
Speaker 6 (27:19):
That would have been dope. Well, two things for Notre
Dame that I'm excited about. They're kind of hanging in
there I think in this bracket, even though it's different
in the rankings, right, That's why I always try to
make sure people understand. So Notre Dame's eight ranked eighth.
Tennessee's went ahead of the seven. However in the seedings
they'd be eight to nine, which doesn't make sense to
(27:40):
a lot of people.
Speaker 5 (27:41):
But it matters. So anyway.
Speaker 6 (27:44):
The thing that I love about it is if Notre
Dame just wins out, they will slide eventually up high enough.
I think they'll be hosting a home playoff and.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
I'll be sweet. I know. Oh wow, So that's how
that you guys would be. All right?
Speaker 9 (27:56):
Man?
Speaker 4 (27:57):
You was like, oh bummed out about it. You guys
will be There's no there's no margin for it.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
There was.
Speaker 5 (28:02):
They will not.
Speaker 6 (28:03):
They will not get in. Well, they still have games
to play. They got Virginia this week. They're at Yankee
Stadium for Army next week. That will be a tough batch.
Speaker 4 (28:10):
Army will be for them, just because of that discipline
and running that that veer and wing what is that
option type deal that they run the hell out of
that option.
Speaker 5 (28:18):
Man flex bone they like to call it old.
Speaker 6 (28:23):
But and then they got to go out to Southern
cal and that you know, we'll see, we'll see what
they look like with Jordaniava, you know, playing quarterback for him.
But it's it's not Look, the schedule is a lot
easier than we thought it was going to be. Like
if you would have told me before the season, hey,
Army is gonna be the toughest opponent you play out
the last three weeks, I would have been like, Okay,
it doesn't make a lot of sense, but here we are.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
Either way, that's what I'm looking for.
Speaker 6 (28:46):
That could be and that's the concert is like you
get a rival in their house with everything to ruin
for your season.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
They just got in trouble.
Speaker 5 (28:57):
You saw that, Yeah, well there's a I have a
theory on that.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Okay, Yeah, what do you think it is? Dear?
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Do you want to wait to talk to Patress about it?
Speaker 6 (29:07):
I would just throw out generally anytime I see news
like that, because it's not overly punitive. What it's like
a fifty thousand dollars fine, yeah, and yeah there's like
a one year probation and all that.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
Right.
Speaker 6 (29:17):
It makes me think, cause it makes me think about
there trying to build a case like you have to
ask yourself, why is this becoming public?
Speaker 5 (29:27):
Now?
Speaker 2 (29:27):
That's what I thought, the same thing because if you because
look at you, it's not that big of a deal.
Speaker 5 (29:33):
That's not a big deal at all.
Speaker 6 (29:34):
It's basically a bunch of coaches who are analysts that
were coaching when they shouldn't have been, which they've changed,
by the way, back then it was legal, and then
now it's it's legal. They've got they've loosened up some
of those restrictions. But you have a new president, right
Carol Folds stepping down. You have a new athletic director
this year who didn't it wasn't responsible for hiring Lincoln Riley.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
He wants to bring in his own person.
Speaker 6 (29:55):
Well she she wants to bring in her own person,
but she's watching it going like what is going on here?
Speaker 5 (30:02):
Like this is not suitable.
Speaker 6 (30:04):
And the way he's handled the media, the way he's
handled everything, it feels like it's going in the wrong direction.
At least with Caleb there, you thought, okay, like they're
they're a contender. They are, howe many games away from
maybe playing in the playoff, a fourteen playoff. That has
not been the case for Southern Cal this year. So
there's a I think there's a thought too of you know,
what is what is this team going to be? You know,
(30:27):
depending on where the direction goes. So I was thinking,
like they brought that up about.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Cause, yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
You just go back to the LSU game, and I
wonder LSU USC play on a neutral site, right now,
how's that game go? Because week one everybody thought, oh,
like remember the conversation was, man, they're gonna they're better
without Caleb Williams.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
It's like, no, no, not really.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
The only reason why people were saying they were better
is because they thought that the defense was going to
be much better because of the the change and coaches,
you know, and they have been better. The defense has
been better, and you know, they just the team hasn't been.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
And by the way, just speaking of you know, not
that you know, it's it's necessarily the greatest football in
the world, but a little credit to UCLA and Deshaun Foster.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
Yeah, man, by.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
The way, everyone was looking at going where are they
going to get their next win? They beat Hawaii week one?
Where are they going to get their next win at?
And if you look at those two programs, UCLA is
the one trending in the right direction, and USC's out
there losing game after game after game. Like Deshaun Foster
and company got that thing going.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
A little bit.
Speaker 4 (31:29):
And I love Deve Foster and that coaching staff man
and they you know, they're they're the type of guys
that you're okay with allowing your kids to go go
play for them and be under their watchful I I mean,
I don't know, I never met the coach of of USC,
but I just know when we went went on our
(31:51):
visits to UCLA, that's the feeling you got, is that
I like, in twenty twenty four, a coach who care
about the welfare and well being of the kid first.
That that to me, that's we can start everything from
that point. Like I don't want to go from from
(32:12):
an origin that's be before that. I want to start
right there, like I want to I want to feel
that you care about these young men first before we
start talking x's and o's and how you fit and
this that and the other and your uniforms and and
all that stuff. And Deshaun Foster, I.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
Mean, he's a good dude.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
Many he didn't kill it on his interview at the
Big Ten meetings. But but that was not indicative of
who he is as a person. I think it's a
good good staff. Yeah, man, I think it's just all
about communication.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
Yeah you like that? Huh?
Speaker 4 (32:45):
I mean, well, if you want to, I bet you
they and those wins were using rapid radios. That's right,
the official communication device of Fox Sports Radio. In an emergency,
you want rapid radios instant push to talk walkie talkies
for nation national that is LTE coverage and one touch communication,
(33:05):
peace of mind for connecting with family and emergencies. And
if you want to have that piece of mind, go
to wrappiradios dot com now for of just sixty percent
off and free shipping. Oh yeah, and you get a
protection bag too. Yeah, that's awesome. Two pros and a
cup of Joe.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas KNOCKX with
you here, so come it up next, almost forget it's
the most appropriate story for in case you missed it,
because I think that a bunch of people did, and
that's the problem.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
We'll get into that for you right here on FSR.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
So that happens during the sow. That's disturbing, bro.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
You know what's more disturbing in fact, that you can't
even tell.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Two pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
I'm certainly not trying to Lvar Harrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox of the air. By the way, coming off top
of next hour a little over ten minutes from now.
I mean, it was the most obvious decision in the world,
but does it change anything for one team in the NFL.
We'll get into that for you here on FSR. A
reminder before we get to in case you missed it, though,
(34:23):
shortly after the show, the podcast will be going up,
so you need to search two Pros wherever you get
your podcast. Be sure to also follow rate and review
it again. Just search two Pros wherever you gets your podcast.
You'll see today's show posted right after we get off
the air.
Speaker 3 (34:37):
Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment. Good thing the guys are here to
bring you.
Speaker 5 (34:44):
In case you missed.
Speaker 1 (34:46):
It, and for that we turn it over to our
executive producer, Lee Lap.
Speaker 8 (34:52):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning, Jonahs, good morning, Brady, good morning, LeVar.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
Hey guys.
Speaker 8 (34:57):
In case you missed it, which I think you might have,
the NBA Cup tipped off last night, all right, hey,
Brady Mordon. Interesting and in case a Lap, In case
you did miss it, the Heat took on the Pistons
more than bar Uh and in overtime, the Heat was
leading by two points one nineteen, but with one point
(35:20):
eight seconds left, the Pistons inbounded it for an oliup
that tied the game. Eric Spolstra then called a time
out that he did not have, which led to a
technical foul free throw, which gave the Pistons the win.
Sposter actually talked about committing this, this blunder.
Speaker 7 (35:35):
Take a listen.
Speaker 10 (35:36):
I just made up just a serious mental error, you
know there at the end.
Speaker 5 (35:39):
That's on me. I feel horrible about it.
Speaker 10 (35:43):
There's really no excuse for that. I'm seventeen years in.
We had talked about it in the huddle. I knew
that we didn't have anything. I just got emotional and
and reactive on that and I just made up just
a horrendous mistake there at the end.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
I mean, I mean for a guy who so he
started his career as a video guy.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Yeah, tape guy like prep is like his thing, like everything,
and to have that happen, you know, that's going to
eat at.
Speaker 1 (36:13):
Him for a long eat him a lot alive. Ye,
that sucks thing.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Although I'll tell you what doesn't suck. Yesterday me telling
everybody in our Draft Kings.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Little little deal we did the little Diddy.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
For DraftKings with the NBA Cup, told everybody, take Jalen
Brown over twenty six points.
Speaker 5 (36:34):
Oh what a hero, What a hero you are.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
And by the way, if you could have hit some
free throws, maybe other vets would have come through.
Speaker 6 (36:41):
On the show, Yeah, we won't talk about those ones
you lost though, definitely not, definitely not.
Speaker 5 (36:47):
Does anyone care about the nd season Tournament?
Speaker 1 (36:49):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (36:50):
This is year two.
Speaker 6 (36:51):
Didn't realize it had started, and didn't we realized they
were that far into the season for the NBA where
they already have an n season tournament. I just feel
like everything they do is trying so hard to make
the game more attractive, more appealing, and I think we're
to the point where you're either an NBA fan and
you still like the style of play, or you're not.
(37:15):
Those are essentially the two things that you've got to
play like. It's very polarizing right now. I think it's
just to me, it's a harder product to watch than
any other sport, in part because you spread out around
the perimeter shoot a bunch of threes. That's essentially it's
some isolation basketball.
Speaker 5 (37:30):
But that's that's essentially what it is.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
That's why I love what DraftKings is doing. The fact
that they're makings or the NBA Cup.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
That much more presentable and that much more interesting by
adding a little hot si.
Speaker 6 (37:40):
DraftKings has been and because they're one of our sponsors,
we're going to keep hyping up Draft Kings, the NBA
and drafting Draft Kings. Did I say DraftKings, I mean
DraftKings Big thank you. They made a huge thing. You know,
I mean, God forbid. We talk about a league that
you know is one of the many that they offer
lines and bets for, and it's we be honest about it,
of you know, sugar.
Speaker 5 (38:01):
Coating and just saying DraftKings, Draft King, Draft Kings.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Love with DraftKings is down for the NBA.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
Yeah, Jonas Knox love DraftKings.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
A big fan of Draft Kings.
Speaker 10 (38:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Hey, the crown is yours? Draft Kings. What else we
got guys?
Speaker 8 (38:20):
In case you miss it, TMZ has learned that the
FEDS are working with local law enforcement agencies to investigate
burglaries into both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey's homes.
Speaker 7 (38:28):
This was during a Monday night football game.
Speaker 8 (38:31):
The FED said they would not be getting involved if
it wasn't believed that this was organized crime crossing state lines.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
Are they sure it wasn't Mahomes's dad? He was just
walking in the wrong place?
Speaker 1 (38:40):
Oh wow?
Speaker 5 (38:41):
What hey?
Speaker 4 (38:42):
A bet on that drafting not going hit the button
on that somewhere with DraftKings. That is Patrick Mahomes's dad.
I'll try to get to the bottom of this, all right,
I'm talking to Q. I moved on from your your
thank your racist comment. So you just think that his dad, right,
(39:03):
Why couldn't it be Kelsey's dad?
Speaker 1 (39:05):
Right? You did it all right, Jack del Rio? Then
I mean you know that's racist too, Okay, you know, Jack.
Speaker 4 (39:13):
Racist?
Speaker 1 (39:14):
Thank you. It's messed up. Jonas Jones just messed up.
It's messed up.
Speaker 4 (39:19):
Brou Come on, Lee, let's give us another bord some
from DraftKings, guys.
Speaker 8 (39:26):
In case you missed it, Amazon Prime Video released a
trailer yesterday for a new Madden docu series. Now this
is not to be confused with the new Madden movie
that's going to be starting Nicholas Cage as well, remember,
but in fact Madden video game.
Speaker 7 (39:40):
So it would be a documentary series.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
Okay, wait, what it's called.
Speaker 7 (39:43):
It's in the game.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
Okay, Oh that's cool, all right, because that's EA sports
with everything cool?
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Is there enough on like do we have? I think
there's enough documentary There's not. Actually, there could never be
enough documentaries. I think that's some of the best. Like
I like true true stuff when I'm watching it, I
don't like. I mean, I like Game of Thrones some
I like some fictional type stuff, but I like I
like documentaries. Yeah, yeah, but I feel like there's enough
(40:12):
out there that we don't need to do want to
Madden the video game?
Speaker 4 (40:15):
No, I could keep coming up with it because there's
always new things to do documentaries on all right. I mean,
now there's enough Aaron Hernandez documentaries and the Menindaz Brothers.
There's enough of those. I'll agree with you on that,
but documentaries are good.
Speaker 5 (40:31):
Is there any way we can bet on DraftKings for it?
Speaker 1 (40:33):
I wish, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
If it was Pat Mahony. You know what, Lebar hit
the button for Labar there. You know the two names
you mentioned, Hernandez and
Speaker 4 (40:42):
Men both easys what it was, what it is
