Speaker 3 (01:46):
Why y'all got uh? Why y'all got q's wins in parentheses?

Speaker 4 (01:50):
No, man, I know they're they're just you know, adding
insult to uh to these losses.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
But I'm counting dang.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Like listen, way, if you'll notice two. I wanted to
hold off because it did get down to three. It
was three and a half. Get down to three at
least I could have gotten a push, but you could.
I could have, but Lee and Jon Justin want to
allow it. They wanted me to keep just sticking the ship.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
No no, no.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
I tried to push for the give them three.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
The line's gonna move.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
It felt like it was heading in that direction, and
Lee said, f that guy.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
If you want me, if you want me to be
honest about it, if you want me to be honest.
There was already books that had it at three, and
that was what was a little bit frustrating, because it
wasn't that DraftKings yet. But we have to do DraftKings
because Jonas Love's DraftKings. So we did DraftKings and that's
how we got there.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
It does happen to be a part of ourselves well,
but it wasn't three, and then overnight it went to
three and a half, and then it went back down
to three before kickoff.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
So DraftKings had it. That's why I don't know why Lee.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Was being DraftKings did have it, But there's other books
out there too who had it at three, have it
at three and a half by the time we were
making those picks.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
The point is is that you should have allowed to
push Jonas and Lee like, I don't think that that
pushed for it.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Quins Wins takes place at a certain time.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
I beat you on that one, bro, I beat you.
I beat you. You dn't have that one.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
Hellotle Casino, Royal Goo in London here.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
Du.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
No way, yeah that one? Oh my god, who's that
going once?

Speaker 2 (03:37):
All right, well listen regardless, that was a fun game
last night. And Dan Campbell has got a set.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Man.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
I was still sitting there on fourth and it just
going away. There's like thirty seconds, forty whatever. It was like,
why are you just kicking now? You're just gonna kick later.
I'm not giving y'all a ounce of hope. How they
could have went.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
They could have ended up going in overtime if they
don't get it easily.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Yeah, I mean he's like, forget y'all man.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
And then and then you had Jared Goff literally get
his footstepped on coming out from under center.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
It was almost a disaster.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Like imagine if that's college, that's that plays. Yeah, it's
a dead play. Hey, don't running back to some beast though, man.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Which I will say this, so there's a reason why
you typically Okay, So let's say I know I'm handing
the ball off to the right and I'm in a
situation like where it's short yarded your goal line. Typically
you stagger your feet, so your right foot is for
your left foot's back, and reason being is you want
to be able to get at least one of your

(04:45):
feet to.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Get out of the way.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
So, if I'm not mistaken, he's spun like he pairowetted
to and hand his football off to the right. So
typically your left foot should be further back because that's
the one that you're going to pick up last, as
you can of like spinning pirouette. No different, if it
was going left, you'd switch it. Your left fot would
before your right foot would be back. I'd have to
go back and look. It didn't look like he had

(05:09):
him staggered enough. But you literally will see quarterbacks stagger
their feet like that just so they won't get him
stepped on, because they know one of those guards on
either side, whichever whichever way the ball is going, that
backside guards gotta go and he's probably gonna step on
your foot. So that's usually why you stagger him. I
never knew that. I never knew that if you, like

(05:31):
most d linemen, if they ever really really paid attention,
they'd be able to see the tell. But again, this
is stuff that quarterbacks studying, can see defensive guys studying
just saying different levels there, different levels.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Hey, let me ask you this. Do they do that
to the right side too? Yeah, whatever side you go
to start, that guard pull from not pulling.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
So in this case, you know he was he was
just trying to block down that gap because they were
playing gaps.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
They were playing like almost like a six two gaps.
So like if the ball is going.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
To the right and I'm reversing out, I'm gonna have
my left foot back further. My right foots me forward.
So that way, when that left guard is trying to
go to the right side as I pirouette, it's already
out and so same thing. So if it was going
to left to be the right guard, my right foot
would be back.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Yeah, tell man man that today. Yeah, that's the key.
Dan Campbell spoke after the All right, Brady, here's the deal.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
What's this movie called Casino?

Speaker 1 (06:41):
What is it called Lee? What is this movie on
to you?

Speaker 5 (06:44):
This is the first Daniel Craig James Bawd Casino.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Well, there's just not enough sex scenes in that for
you guys to be getting.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
No, it's not it's not about that scene. It's about
the rocket ship, who is about to lift off?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
And which one is this? Which James Bond?

Speaker 3 (07:07):
I don't even know the right one? This is the
correct one because LeVar went pistol, double pistol, rambo, machine gun,
gatling gun.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
And then an a k all the matter.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Of can I get a description because I'm looking at
the cast and this is not looking like she does
not make it under the cast.

Speaker 7 (07:33):
Yeah, she's just one of the Bond girls. But she's
not the Bond, she's not Vesper, she's not the main.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Does she not making on the cast? Somebody was someone
someone was upset?

Speaker 4 (07:44):
If I looked at the entire cast, sixty different faces,
she's on there somewhere.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
She should be on the cast for this scene. Oh
it's Alessandro Bio. There you go.

Speaker 8 (07:54):
This one is sounds exactly what her name should be.
Yeah it Katerina Arena that that could sound like.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
That should be it too. I'd like to order that too.
And the other name you said on the side, thank you,
thank you, She is on here Lee. And by the way,
her picture is not very flattering on.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
This well leek do you uh? I mean just said
what a guy? What a guy? All right? Well, that's why.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
These movies are total d bag movies. Man, Like these
dudes like, come on, man, why you get to be
in a movie doing this acting?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
You think he's good? Right there? Hey, Coop? You acted?

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Man.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
I'm sorry, I'm looking at what y'all looking at it.
It's not you're watching it on television right now. No,
I'm just looking at you.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Know, hey, Coop, if you were in that situation right
there right now, as an actor, are you are you good?

Speaker 9 (08:56):
Like?

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Is an actor good? Or is that like you know,
do you just let your you're like, how does that work?

Speaker 5 (09:06):
I stopped acting when I was like thirteen or twelve.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Thirteen is old enough. Broh, don't do that.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
I mean I didn't have any I didn't have any
sex scenes.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Yet you had a pair of eyes. Damn it, you did?
You did?

Speaker 5 (09:20):
Look I mean I would uh would have some trouble
in this.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
You would have had trouble with that scene? Yeah, absolutely, Okay,
check it, just check it. So even an actor, like,
if you're a thespian, you you you can't like maintain
you know, thespian control and like you're are you supposed
to get Here's the better question, Coop, are you supposed

(09:45):
to get into the scene, like like really get into
the scene or how is that like like the naturalness
of god Lee, godly be.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
I think it's something that you have a discussion and
with the you know, the actress, okay, and you.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Know because I mean, could that be considered to be
a bad thing if you can't, because that's that's like
a man thing versus like what a woman thing would be.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
You know if if a woman has a situation you
don't know.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
Yeah, I'm sure she would probably be insulted.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
If would she be insulted?

Speaker 5 (10:20):
You would you would think, I mean, I mean, would you?

Speaker 1 (10:26):
I mean, you got it? You gotta do the scene? Coop,
what do you want from him? He's a man? Well,
Coop took his his headphones off.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
He said, I'm not I'm not going I'm not going
any further with the stage, right, That's why you're not
a thespian.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
All right, Well let's talk about a.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Uh let's talk about a thespian with a pair of
brass balls and would he was not acting the coach
of the Lions. He spoke after the game about the
mindset in going for it?

Speaker 1 (10:55):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Four out of five times on fourth downs they converted
in that game last night.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Here he was.

Speaker 9 (11:00):
Look, I told the guys knew, players knew, the coaches knew. Listen,
this is don't ride the wave. You know, we could
be up two scores, we could be down two scores,
and but just because we're one or the other, we
got to play our style of game, going in what
we felt like we need to do, what I felt
like we needed to do, and.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
So that meant the risk was there, and you know.

Speaker 9 (11:21):
And you fell in negative territory, you got you know,
you're trying to hold him to a field goal. But
I knew that was that was how I wanted to
play that team.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
With where we were at. It was two really good teams.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
By the way, Yeah, give give Detroit a ton of
credit for being able to win that game, because that
was a very very well played game both sides.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
Buddy Jordan Love made some throws in that game where
you were just like, my god, that was unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
He's a guy.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
I mean, the one where I believe it was like
Jack Campbell who had pressured and he kind of just yeah,
by the way, with perfect pulse security, like the type
of stuff they teach you in quarterback drills that no
one actually uses.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
In a game.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
I was like, oh, all right, there it is, and
they just dropped an absolute dime on a crossing route.
But is it fair to say is Green Bit the
second best team in the NFC North. I know Vikings
fans will get upset. I think he's gonna make that statements. Yes,
it's hard to debate it, but I do think. I
do think that Minnesota can they can contend for it.

(12:20):
But I certainly think that after last night, it is
a foregone conclusion that Detroit is solidified as the best
team in the NFC.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
I will say that's in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
You think the way they're playing right now, yeah, I
mean you've won eleven in a row.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Yeah, you could be right. I don't know. I like
Buffalo right now. Man.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
I don't know why I like Buffalo so much, but
I like Buffalo. And for what it's worth, Kansas City
hasn't been hasn't looked to be the most impressive in
the way that they win games. But Kansas City is
still Kansas City. I still might even go with Kansas
City as the best in the league.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
By the way the Vikings did beat Green Bay earlier
in the season, though it was tight.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Just saying like, there's my thought on watching that game
last night was for a couple of things. Dan Campbell,
all the criticism we got after the NFC title game,
and you know, he's too risky, he's to this, he's
too that. I just love the fact that he's like,
that's who that's who we are. It is what it is,
like we're going to live by the sword, died by
the sword kind of mentality.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
I mean, why wouldn't you, Yeah, it's worse if you're
want to live by the sword.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Why wouldn't you die by it?

Speaker 2 (13:27):
If you're hiring him to do what he does and
he believes in that team and they've got the the
old life even with I mean, they've got what they
had seventeen players on ir going into that game last night.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
And such balance with what he does. Man, it's so
hard to and listen. Green Bay's defense was they were
holding up at times, they were doing what they needed
to do. At times, they made that game hard on Detroit.
I just man, it's just they just keep coming.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
They're going to see one of two, either Green Bay
or Minnesota. I believe in the post season again. So
if they see Green Bay again, green.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Bay could clip them. That's that's what I'm saying. The team, man,
because there is there and that boy Jacobs is a
goon a goblin. What's a goon to goblin? Nothing?

Speaker 3 (14:15):
What they ain't never heard that from Lil Wayne anyway,
I do be running that ball, man, But I would
say this if they had And I know, I know
y'all like, man, why y'all keep why does he keep
going back to this? But I think it's the reason
why Minnesota is so good right now. In a lot
of ways, if you had the dimensions, the multi dimensions

(14:40):
that Aaron Jones brings to your backfield, him and Josh
Jacobs in the backfield would be ridiculous read their team
would be on the next level of some way, somehow
they were able to have kept Aaron Jones and brought
in Josh Jacobs, because that's what you're seeing with Detroit.
I mean though, these two backs, they're two different styles

(15:02):
of backs, but my goodness, that is such a dynamic
backfield they have.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Man.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
They stay healthy, those two guys stay healthy, and you're
always going to have a chance because Jared Goff doesn't
have the pressure of having to win the game with
his arm. There's so many different things you can do
with what those backs bring to the table, and they
have different skill sets and it just allows for you
to open up your offense. And it is such a

(15:30):
headache for a defense to have to deal with that
type of a backfield. You remember when they had all
stot and Wark done in the same backfield I used
to have. I loved I loved it, but I hated
it at the same time because there's so many different
things that they can do with those types of backs,
and they bring such different skill sets to the table.

(15:51):
And I think that's what you have in Detroit, Man,
they've done. I thought jamyor Gibbs was dope in college.
Man when he was like in Alabama. I mean, I
was like, why why isn't he talked about more than
what he is? Or is it his size? I ain't
get it, But man, that that type of he it
almost seems like he could be that the new proto

(16:11):
type of what today's back could be. And maybe Saquan
is maybe the the maybe a little bit more because
he's bigger, so like you can bring that physical component
to it, as well as that speed and quickness to
to you know, getting to the outside. But I mean
their backfield makes them such a dangerous, dangerous team.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Man, Why is Christian Watson able to get open downfield
every single game?

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Every game? I mean he's fast, There's that. He is fast,
and he's big.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
Like, what's his yard per yards per catch for the season.
I think it's like over twenty, Like every time he
touches the ball, it's a twenty yard pickup. Like it's
just like for some reason, like he just continues to
get open and nobody will.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
They take shots to him. Yeah, I mean it's a
big dude's big. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
I mean he's the one that's built like a wide
receiver one and it was drafted i think to be
their receiver one. It's just he's he hasn't been able
to stay healthy. He hasn't been one hundred percent consistent,
but he definitely could be. Here's the hard thing about
Aaron Jones conversation is Jones got to a second contract
and then they moved on because both.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
You couldn't keep both Jones and Jacobs.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
Like, remember Jamior Gibbs was a draft pick and David
Montgomery was signed, so you know, if Green Bay wanted
to do that in the future, they could. They just
got to draft another one right that they feel like,
is is kind of similar or has that that different
skill set man or has a combination of facts.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
I don't know, is there.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
I don't know that you just have a Jamiir Gibbs
in in the draft every year though. That's the thing, like,
is there anybody out there right now like.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
That Gent's Gent would be an interesting comparison because he's
the young man who's gonna being a Heisman finalist and
is playing for as he stayed.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
I mean he's not tall, he's you know, five 'ot nine.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Two hundred and ten pounds, fifteen pounds whatever he is,
But I mean he exudes all those like qualities you're
looking for.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Like that quick burst like yeah, quit his movement, and.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
He's got the kind of breakaway speed like home run
hitting speed too. So I'll be curious to seem in
person today or excuse me later on tonight to see
what he looks like.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
But there's there's a.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
Few backs that I think have some of the qualities.
I mean, again, everyone's different, like no one's going to
be exactly like Jamir.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
But but I'm saying like that small scat like you know,
like how like in our day, like when we're watching
like what like an air metcalf would be you know
what I mean, like one of those guys like it's
like whoa like out of air, Like, dude is quick
like tossing the ball, throwing the ball, whatever, screens whatever. Man, Dude,

(18:53):
dude can find the holes in the defense. And I
mean quick, just quick bouncy dudes. I hated playing against
quick bouncy dudes man, because they make you look bad.
You see the way he had, man, he had to
do hugging for air laft dude that fell on to
his knees.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
What you're reaching for? Man? I hate that.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
I don't know it would name of them. The defender
was put the mirror Gibbs had that he had to
do chasing ghosts. Man, Well you got to back that.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Man.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Have you chasing ghosts out there and it's all live camera?
That ain't nothing fun man, That's that's that's stressful. That's stressful.
You don't want to be on somebody's highlight field. Were
you hugging for somebody and they there.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
He don't be there.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Now, I'd rather get Jerome Bettis or Mike alstot Hell,
I'd rather hit Lorenzo O'Neill. Then I have to deal
with a dude that that can make you miss like that.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
I don't know. I mean, if you're stressful, man.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
You know, if you're certain people, you'd rather have Derrick
Henry too off top, Brady, Yeah, right, big one for us.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
I didn't get that. Old Cooper did one. Oh if you.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Form tackling extraordinary.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Derek wasn't sure going there either.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Yeah. I adn't know where where where you were at
with that, but I got you, I got you, okay,
all right, gonna that.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Means he could get all of them the top. Not
gonna stiff from us, not happening.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
You're not going to run us over.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
It's no Josh Norman, you're dealing with Oh no, yeah,
oh no, I see what you did there.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Derek Henry got the work. That's what we did there too.

Speaker 6 (20:32):
All right.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
So it is two pros and a cup of joon
your Fox Sports radio. By the way, I was gonna mention.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
This at the top.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
It is definitely it's a football Friday.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
It's Friday still does that.

Speaker 10 (20:50):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay,

(21:22):
let's do it there it is Yeahday, that is.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Brady. Yeah Football Friday.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Ready Quinn Ready Quinn?

Speaker 1 (21:34):
They called him, we call him you. Yes, No, I
hate this. Yeah, that's not the one I like being played.
We know.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
It is a two pros and a cup of Joe
football Friday here on Fox Sports Radio. By the way,
we're gonna have the usuals coming up later on. We've
got another edition of In case you missed it. We've
also got our Picks against the Spread coming up an
hour two of the program.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
We've got Lee's Leftovers.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
We're gonna get some updates and some information on what
happened at the company holiday party last night as well too.
All of that is yours here as we take you
all the way up until nine am Eastern time, six
o'clock Pacific up next here. Though, somebody's having to defend themselves,
all right. There's been some comments made that maybe they've
given some preferential treatment or maybe they're playing favorites in

(22:17):
the NFL when it came to a punishment handed down.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
We'll get into that for you right here. On FSR.

Speaker 6 (22:22):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington and Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here
coming up fifteen minutes from now. We nearly had a
little bit of a Donnybrook in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
We had.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Apparently we're gonna have one in the other studio right
now as well too, Raina, what do you do?

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Do you? Drop it off? Oh? Why are you covering
your face like that? Yeah? Drop one up.

Speaker 11 (23:00):
Really just said he had to do business, and as
he took a step.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
He nod. Yes. Oh boy, so he's gone. He's out
of here.

Speaker 11 (23:14):
Can I get out of here too?

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Oh my gosh, No, you can't you as well.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
I don't get it, man, I don't get it.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
He can't hold it, mean, he can't hold it. He
probably went back to his old ways last night.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
He's out of here, man, He's not even in the
other room, dude, empty studio.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
Can of ice all right there, Yes, you're not going
to spray it, try to kill the germs, the fecal
matter that's in it.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
All right, So this uh asis alsha here stuff.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Yeah, we don't want to hear about it. Well, it's
that's that's what my man said. We won't we don't
even want to hear about it.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Well what's so what's funny about it is just the
whole victim role that the Texans are taking, like they're
defending him now, you know.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
He comes out on social media.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
And says I'll be your villain following the three game suspension,
which was upheld, and.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Then he makes another apology. I feel like there's been
multiple apologies at this bisic point.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
It's like I don't And so John Runyon was very
critical about it, and he pointed out, look, he didn't
try and de escalate it. Afterwards, things got worse on
the field. There was fights. He wouldn't leave the field.
He's got a reputation and a track record all that stuff.
So Ramone Foster was one of the guys who was
also at the hearing and heard, you know, and basically
was part of the ruling and the decision making when

(24:37):
it came to the suspension and looking at the tape
and everything. And he's actually hosts a show on our
affiliate in Nashville, the Zone, and he was on yesterday
talking with it was the Ramone Kaelin Will show on
The Zone in Nashville, explaining his logic behind the decision.

Speaker 12 (24:54):
And as it comes down to the integrity of what
the job is. My job is to see the tape,
evaluate the tape, move on how I proceed to evaluate
the cases. So there is no involvement or emotions behind
anything that goes on behind it.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
So the reason he's having to say that is but
John Runyon did it well. But John Runyon used emotions
and what his statement was.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
So one of the claims is there, and like one
of the complaints is that, well they're not, you know,
being transparent about their reasoning.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
And some people have.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Thought, well, you know, he works for a radio station
that's the home of the Tennessee Titans. There an AFC
South opponent, you know, could this stop. It's on video.
It's a quarterback giving himself up and you forearmed him
in the head and the guy got concussed on the play.
And know he's on IR and probably out for the year. Like,

(25:43):
I don't understand this is so cut and dry.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
What is the argument?

Speaker 4 (25:48):
This is becoming the Aaron Rodgers for Joonas knocks this week.
That's how much we've talked about this topic. Now it's Friday,
we're still talking about.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
It because there's there's more layers to it. Like, I
don't understand layers.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
Okay, why are people still trying to push back on
the decision to suspend the guy three games?

Speaker 3 (26:04):
There are some people that have come out and kind
of defended the hit. Maybe that's why, you know, I don't.
I don't know anyone who's defended it. I mean, like
Tom Brady comments about the hit.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
It's more about, you know, how we can get quarterbacks.
To me, I mean, here's the truth of like playing.
One of the reasons why sliding, to me, was never
a way to protect yourself is because you leave your
entire upper body exposed. And I'm not saying everyone is
going to go back and look at my tape and

(26:34):
how I used to do that, But I would always
dive head first because I feel like I could dive
underneath tackles and kind of avoid taking those hits. And
for whatever reason the NFL kee's pushing this whole slide slide.
I mean, think about it too. You don't even get
the ball as close to where you would if you

(26:55):
dove forward. You get the ball where the ball's at,
you know, when you begin to start your slide and
giving yourself up. That's what the officials are actually instructed
to spot the football. So obviously your legs are way
ahead of where the ball actually is. So not only
does it not make sense from a safety standpoint, it
doesn't even make sense from a playing standpoint to get
the spot or get the ball further up the field.

(27:15):
But I know there's a lot of guys who's who
have advocated for that, saying take out the slide because
it doesn't matter either way. It's hard on the defenders. Uh,
the quarterbacks aren't really protected from it. They'd be better
off just diving head first or diving in a different direction,
maybe maybe the right.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
I'm just saying that Jonas loves Jonas loves beating down
these topics for like five days straight in front of you.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Throw something else out there, buddy.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
I had a whole topic of things. I mean, we
could have talked about your boy Harbaugh. You could keep
beating down that the you know your you know, different
topics about Aaron Rodgers stances on it, taking blame for that.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
If you got Bill.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Belichick looking at taking a head coaching job, a b
enemy just got about Lincoln Riley.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Can get to all that later. All of that can
get to later, no problem.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
So I just gave you seven subjects we could have
talked about besides al Shaier, who we've talked about now
five days straight.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Okay, Then why are the Textans still trying to play
the victim game?

Speaker 6 (28:15):
Why?

Speaker 1 (28:15):
I don't care.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
I could care less if the Texans and anyone within
the Texans organization is trying to play the victim game.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
With all of this.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
Alright, it was, it was an outlawed play. He's been suspended,
he tried to appeal, it was upheld. It's over. It's over.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Everyone needs to move on, all right, So we're moving
on from that. You picked the topic here, since you
updated the Google doc, go right ahead, fired up.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
I'd like to.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
I actually didn't update the Google doc, but I appreciate
you saying that we can go to in case you
missed it, the holiday party. Let's just go to it now,
because we're gonna need time to go through whatever the
hell is lead.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
The problem is we don't have Lee and washed his hands.
We don't what happened. We don't know that.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
And he definitely didn't line the toilet. See definitely in
line the toilets. He didn't need to leave.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
What happened? What happened when I'll never use that restaurant.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
I mean, Lorenda just said, in fact, I'm going to
disrespect that toilet seat so much so that Lee learns
his lesson. God, He's going to learn his lesson, and
I'm going to make sure of it. I don't know
what that means.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
By the way that bathroom's been Wait did you did
you not? No?

Speaker 5 (29:25):
I farted and I did not shark. That's a mischaracterization.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Okay, So why smelt like.

Speaker 11 (29:31):
A shark and it sounded like one? It split out
like it?

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Okay with a woman like experiencing that from you, Lee,
you do know that.

Speaker 11 (29:44):
Is like it makes us closer.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
It does so ungentlemanly, like bro who says I'm a gentleman,
does make us closer. About every day that I'm telling you,
I'd be beating you upside hit bruh you and I'm.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Kicking you in the space.

Speaker 7 (30:03):
There's all the In fact, Lorena shared the article with
me about you know.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
That's about couples, that's not about coworkers.

Speaker 11 (30:10):
Well, he's my work husband, work wife.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
Oh gosh, I hear that Coop don't go that far.
Oh gosh, Coop is somewhere like banging. Okay, so hold on,
hold on, this is perfect.

Speaker 4 (30:20):
So if that's the case, did you two guys go
to the holiday party together?

Speaker 7 (30:24):
We were at the holiday party at the same time together.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah, but you didn't go together.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
That's what you would have You would have went together
if you guys were actually stood.

Speaker 11 (30:33):
By each other at the party, like.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
How stood by each other? Like how much?

Speaker 11 (30:37):
Only three people asked if we were dating?

Speaker 1 (30:39):
Only three? Oh wow, it's less than normal.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Who got the most banged up well that we worked
with at the holiday part I'm gonna.

Speaker 11 (30:47):
Have to say Shay, But it's only because he had
the most drink tickets. But he also said the drinks
were very light. He was like, I'm on number six.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
I think, but he got banged up. So he said
they were light, but he got banged up.

Speaker 7 (30:59):
He's had an interesting week care, so you know, yeah,
I got the first hand a count on that one.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Oh yeah, I want to hear about this during the
break or now ye break? Okay, all right.

Speaker 11 (31:13):
And he wore a unicorn Christmas sweater.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Yeah he won.

Speaker 5 (31:17):
He won the ugly sweater party.

Speaker 11 (31:18):
Yeah he got card.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
I meant to ask this question when you have to
go to a Christmas party, because we've actually got some.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Coming up this week.

Speaker 4 (31:26):
Uh do you just is it assume you're supposed to
wear an ugly Christmas sweater?

Speaker 13 (31:30):
No?

Speaker 3 (31:30):
When I've gone, I dressed the way I dress. Hell, yeah, yeah,
I come up in there like straight, hell, you know
straight LeVar Man, Well I'm talking that.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
Okay, play that mary sticks, miss.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
Yeah, mary sticks, Miss, I'm talking about yeah like that.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
I don't know about all this other stuff though. C
But if that's what you want to go for, if
that's what you're into, you know, you do that, you know,
I mean.

Speaker 4 (31:53):
Well, I feel like that's typically the theme this time
of year. Someone you know, you wear some sort of
crazy Christmas sweaters something like that.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Yeah, you know tradition.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
You got you got Frosty the snow Man, you know,
hey is his carrots now were supposed to be you
know what you did there one of those Yeah, sure,
his eyes at okay down there.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
Clearly and clearly clearly Coop was not involved in that,
you know, carrot sweater story.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
Yeah, no he was wasn't. No.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
I want to see how this all plays out because
that last exchange and the information that was ascertained. Uh,
it's gotta send shock waves through both sides, both Lorna's
side with Coop and Lee's side at home.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Was I was saying, hold on, what am I missing? Level?

Speaker 4 (32:47):
Is Lorena being like tuggled on, tossed, like trying to
be pulled apart?

Speaker 3 (32:53):
Well, I mean it does seem very competitive in the
control room these days. I don't I have no reason,
don't want to. I don't understand why it's become so
competitive as of late Q, but it's gotten very, very competitive.

Speaker 11 (33:10):
I think it's gotten better. They actually talk now.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
Oh well there you go, there you go. So, I mean,
maybe she's wearing them down, but I do know this.
On Lee's side, there's a strong possibility if by chance
she hears this now or here's it by some way
somebody said it, she goes and listens to the podcast.
He's going to have a not the size of a

(33:36):
woofle ball on his head when he wakes up tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
It's troubling. Yeah, man, it's gonna be pain involved in this.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
You know, I think I butchered last night.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
I don't know. That's an aggressive text. Todge on a spit,
go ahead, Oh wow, Iowa Sam.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
Here's why he lives within walking distance to where the
hall party was, and he doesn't go anywhere.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
He ain't lying.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
He doesn't go anywhere unless he's had at least a
couple before he arrives. And I think he walked back
and had even more after the holiday party was over,
and I think.

Speaker 5 (34:10):
He was complaining he showed up late.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
And then what a stunner. Yeah, a shock, right.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
I mean I think you could throw You can throw
Iowa Sam into that competition as well. And Iowa Salam
throws his hat into the ring too, man, and has
in that ring.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
That's true, is not lying? Had a lot of rings?
Yes he does.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
I mean, I think about this. He debated LeVar and
I about the Space show from when he was not present,
but we were.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
But that's an argument I'm still baffled by. He wasn't there,
and he's telling you what it was like, like upset.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
About it, like upset about it. It was amazing, Like
how dare.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
You guys like accurately depict where you were doing the show?

Speaker 7 (34:57):
That was the topic station too, was how Sam never
admits to being wrong about anything.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
So what was he pissed off about?

Speaker 7 (35:05):
He well, he just showed up late and he was
complaining about having a headache, and he was like, I
just took a bunch of pills.

Speaker 5 (35:10):
And then he was texting me. I went I went
home early. I didn't use all my tickets.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
I gave my tickets away. I just took a bunch
of pills.

Speaker 5 (35:17):
Well like Ivory Profen or something like that.

Speaker 7 (35:20):
You're assuming he yeah, uh, he was, Yeah, he was.
He was complaining about I was like, why aren't you
having a drink?

Speaker 1 (35:26):
I got a headache?

Speaker 7 (35:27):
And anyway, we were texting about the game. So he
did not get banged up. He was already banged full
of crap.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
I agree, lying is Scott Shapiro, don mar who goes.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
To the holiday party.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
I took Dawn's ticket drink ticket.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Yeah, there was Julie. Julie came into the studio. Julie. Yeah, Julie,
the Queen. I wonder it's probably better we're not there.
We don't go to those, right.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
I don't I want to one two years ago. Yeah,
you guys, we had a good time, you know.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
I mean, uh, well, I'm not able to go. I
mean Idaho.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
As my daughter just asked my wife, where's daddy. My
wife says Idaho, and she goes, do you mean you
don't know?

Speaker 1 (36:11):
She was well played?

Speaker 4 (36:15):
I love She's four years old, so she's still she's
still learning there.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
I don't know. Good call very good.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
So you know, Tris and I have been house hunting
and just so happens, I'm friends with Jason from Selling Sunset.
You know one of the twins. Yeah, shaw to Jason,
and we did. We did a showing with with Breed
yesterday from the family what's her name to lessis ts

(38:05):
Johnny Manziel's X Is It?

Speaker 6 (38:08):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Johnny Manziel's ex for real Johnny.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
Anyway, it was a very nice home man, super Dope
in the Hills, Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Hills. That's awesome,
super super I mean that view was looked pretty good.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
I mean it was phenomenal. Man.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
So there you go, that's pretty cool. I think I'm
gonna be on selling Sunset Wendy episode.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
I don't know. I'll let you know. That does not
sound like something that you would do, you know, you know,
it just kind of happened.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
It sounds like, yeah, that's that sort of thing just
happens to you, not something that you would force your
way into it all.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
No, I did it. No, I know, I know. I'm
saying it definitely doesn't sound like something you do. It doesn't.
But it was. I mean I wanted to see it.
It was interesting.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Yeah, I'm talking about house bad a way.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Okay, I'm really out of character.

Speaker 4 (39:04):
I'm just saying it's out of character for you. It is, yeah,
it is, But I did it. Definitely not looking to
get on TV. No, I wasn't. I wasn't but you know,
you guys are jerks.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
Man. God, anyways, that was my occasion.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
I didn't know who that was. Wow, she's changed, Yes,
really in a good way.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
I'm stunned. As a matter of fact, are you really? Yeah?
But no doubt. We had good time. Yeah what what?

Speaker 6 (39:42):
What?

Speaker 1 (39:42):
Why didn't we miss it?

Speaker 7 (39:43):
Well, we have just enough time for this sound bite
in case you miss it. Matl the Floor was into
in a heated conversation, uh confrontation with a fan from
the Detroit's One Pride Initiative who made his way onto
the field prior to the game.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
Take a listen to what mattle Floor had to say.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
He was talking junk to our players, giving.

Speaker 13 (39:59):
Him the throat slash sign, and you know, you're trying
to de escalate it and then he gets in my face.
So I thought it was pretty unsportsmanlike, like I've never
seen that. I've been on many fields and usually they
police that much better. I just I thought it was
an arrogant fan that you know, wanted to get in

(40:19):
part of the action, and just I would like to
see security or something step in there and get him out.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
Of there, because it's up. Shut up.
