LeVar Arrington. It is Notre Dame and it's Penn State
(01:33):
and it's the Orange Bowl going down. LeVar has got
a necklace that says linebacker you that costs more than
my truck, So you are my hotel security?
Speaker 4 (01:49):
What they say? Get up?
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Why were what was going on?
Speaker 4 (01:59):
I was acting like Lee.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
LeVar has already been celebrating Penn State's victory tonight, so
he is foreshadowing of victory. I don't think I was
celebrating our victory. I was just it was a pre celebration.
Can I say this much? Just from watching some of
the coaches press conference, James Franklin seemed to be a
(02:23):
lot more relaxed, a lot looser, you know, some of
the comments that he kind of talked about Marcus Freeman's hairline,
talked about joining a conference.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
He uh, but tell me, did you did it feel like.
Speaker 5 (02:40):
He looked more comfortable, Like I mean, Marcus was locked in,
But it also I think can sometimes can come off
as a little bit maybe some nervous energy, And it
looked like he wanted to fight right right then and
there and wanted a hug. Yeah, And it felt like
there was like almost like a father son moment, like
I've been around the.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Block for a while. This is you know, like, let
me show you son, Like.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
I'm like, all right, that's neither one of them have
been here before?
Speaker 5 (03:07):
Correct, neither one. But but James has been in some
big games before. They didn't go to the Orange Bowl
the year they won the Big Ten?
Speaker 4 (03:18):
What bullding do they go to? I don't know. I'll
have to go back and check. That's a good question. Yeah,
I don't. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (03:25):
I thought that year they were really like ready to
just stay like where I'm at, and you made me
want to think, I don't, I don't want can I
can you turn me up?
Speaker 4 (03:34):
Where am I at? My headphone? Yeah? There's my headphone?
Speaker 3 (03:39):
At where we are?
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Where's my headphone? Where's a snare? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (03:41):
He's more yeah right there? All right, but yeah, but
turn me up in my headphone. Yeah that was a
little hot, all right, But turn me up in my airphone.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
Right, we're making so So they've played in everything var
but the Orange Bowl. He's been in the Roads, the Fiesta,
Cotton Bowl, the Rose Again, the Peaceful. So it's literally
been every bowl but this so there you go check
this off the box.
Speaker 6 (04:07):
Hell yeah, well it's again it's a first for both
teams in terms of it being the college football playoffs.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
That's all right, this is listen. We can we can
get into the world.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
My pants are silly.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Can we just talk about what the hell happened last night?
Travel stories? What went down?
Speaker 6 (04:33):
What happened, what happened with you guys. The travel story
for me was I came straight here and I didn't
go back to my hotel. He got a good nap though,
because I did not want to miss the show.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
I know you're a dedicated individual.
Speaker 6 (04:51):
This guy just ran up on him and he was like, sir,
get up, looked at him.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
I was like, hell, so hold on, he was.
Speaker 6 (05:07):
He was he was correct, you can he was correct,
and I was incorrect.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
That's all that really massed.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
When I walked in, I see a security guy walking
more towards the door, and I see LeVar walking across
the like.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Main bar area. I did.
Speaker 6 (05:23):
I did not feel like what you did was acceptable
or appropriate.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Open the door for you. No, you laughed and you said.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Are you I was like, straight from being out?
Speaker 5 (05:40):
I was like, oh my god, Johnson, oh my gosh.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
Are you coming from being straight out? Yes? I am right.
Where'd you go?
Speaker 6 (05:49):
I will never tell No, nothing like that.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
I know where you started? Where did that start? Uh?
Do you want to say? I know you told me
were going to eat? Okay, where I go? Giselle? Yes,
how was that? It's good? Yeah, it's good. It's a
Brazilian food.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
Yeah, maybe that's a good call. Actually he told me that.
I was like, yeah, kind of food that is.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
But I swear I was guessing because I was bad.
Speaker 6 (06:16):
It was it was almost like a fusion of Brazilian food.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
Maybe got fused. What's in here? Lee was coffee? Lee
was all about the Lee was all about the.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
We all on second, you just assumed Lee's got what
like uh like rum and there is no he's got
He's got creamer right there in the white. So he's
got a creamer some sugars for you.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
So where's the where's then? Are you so listening?
Speaker 3 (06:49):
I do mine black? So I'm good like this.
Speaker 4 (06:53):
This is going to be it's gonna be a battle.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
It's gonna be a you know what though, when that
buffet comes opening and we'll get you some food, it's
gonna be great.
Speaker 6 (07:01):
Hey man, this is going to be a tough show
for me. But I mean, if it's only happened one time,
where I have to have a tough show. I mean,
I'm responsible ninety nine point nine nine percent of the
time outside of this one point one.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Of the time. Can I ask you, Lee, did you
end up in an elbow room last night?
Speaker 7 (07:28):
I tried, you know, I tried to hop in my way.
They didn't go, didn't make didn't make that third Just say.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
No, Lee, we we left out.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
We were at Batolo By, Which is that place?
Speaker 6 (07:38):
Look? Did you realize the response? We?
Speaker 4 (07:43):
Well, yeah, they were together. Did we go? Did you
go to the elbrow room? Well? Okay, hold on, are
you going to today? Are you going to today? Before
you leave? He's not.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
I have time.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
You probably go for the open ears. I'm not. They'll
be open mid days. You know. Let me check my schedule.
He've got time.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
I think it's gonna be a good beach day.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
I'll put on my pink shorts. Why do you not
have real sugar?
Speaker 7 (08:11):
Because I brought four different types of sugar. All the sugars.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
They have to see this. Oh you know what? Even yes,
somebody brown shug I usual brown sugars for me. It
was not it was not brown shut Maybe.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
It was well, I didn sugar.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
For my.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Trying to figure out what type of sugar, Brady, what
kind of sugar you got? I can't focus. That's great.
I want to entertain what Brady's doing.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
I wish I wish you all could to see me
when I walked in, though, because I was like, I
totally goes, how is this gonna work out?
Speaker 4 (08:49):
I was like, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (08:50):
The valet took me about twenty five minutes in my
car as the valley walked out.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
It's like, hey, perfect time. Perfect time.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
That's what they call me, baby every time I walk into.
Speaker 8 (09:02):

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Okay, we don't have me at the end of this segment.
Speaker 6 (09:25):
The first first hour, I got an hour to clear
myself up.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
I will clear shoes.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Have come off. Well they weren't one.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
That's true, they never were.
Speaker 6 (09:38):
I was attacked by the hotel security. I was not approached.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
You yelled at me when I tried to wake here at.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
That you were. I walked up to get a coffee.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
I don't remember the only the only reason I knew
that it was you was because I saw your chain.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
I was like, oh, I thought, I know, man, somebody
had a rough night.
Speaker 7 (10:02):
I look was like, That's the only way I stirred
him up was I started stroking.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
Jesus. I was so irresponsible. I don't think stroked anyone
else I was. I was so irresponsible. So I got
hard rocked. No. I was like, I'm telling you that
place is fun. Man. It was not heart rocked. It
was not. But I'm here, I'm here, I.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
Gotta get I gotta get Brady credit man, vodka sauce.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
What does that mean?
Speaker 3 (10:37):
I take credit for that.
Speaker 5 (10:38):
Have you ever had like a spicy vodka sauce? So
I'm gonna send you guys. There's a place called Carbones,
which we also had a debate I've heard of carbon
a debate about debate about the East coast West coast food.
Speaker 8 (10:55):
You got very territorial over West Coast food, and so
Jonas tries to spicy vodka sauce if it's hold, And
he was like, and I was like, yeah, the food
is better on the East Coast, especially like Italian.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
It's good, but it ain't spicy.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Why you said territorial man? Who cares?
Speaker 5 (11:14):
I's just like Mexican spicy vodkasa spicy.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Okay, you put pepper.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
Spice is not the same as West Coast.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
By the way, if you want to have a spice off,
you'll get that work.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
No, I'm with you. I'm with you, I with both
of you. Yeah, you're misconstruing what this say. The sauce
is good. That's what it is good to send you guys.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
Carbone, spicy, vodka, sauce carbon standing man, you put somebody
that sent me some sober, sent me some Please.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Somebody's some You can eat this, you can.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
I was really upset with the hotel security, and I

I'm going back to my room.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
I'm you know, it's gonna be great as he's that
guy's gonna be watching the game tonight.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
He's gonna see you on the sideline. There could be
like all football about Wait a second. That was in
a loppy I can't even remember. Mans are unbuckled.
Speaker 6 (12:31):
I cannot remember who he was, and I'm trying to
remember the moment.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
I had Lee.
Speaker 6 (12:38):
It wasn't Lee. It was the moment I had with
Brady in here. I just didn't want to be late here, Michael,
give me a drink next break.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
I got one ready to.
Speaker 6 (12:56):
Is the one time Lee can get away with being
with me is today?
Speaker 4 (13:05):
I will joy enjoy it because I judge you.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
Every other day.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Today I shall not Lee. How many did you have
when you got back here last night?
Speaker 3 (13:16):
I ponied up to the bar. I had two G
and t's.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
You had wanted dinner that I saw.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Yeah, you get squirrely after the line, well.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
Are my Are my pants crazy or what? They're They're different,
They're different. A lot of pockets you can put. What
are you talking? I'm just saying there's one right there
in the middle. I haven't seen a pocket.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
I mean their cargo pants, so they're going to have pockets.
I was talking about, Hey, buddy, I was talking about
that's our tech guy. Yeah, I was why do we
have Steve? Why do we have a Curt? Hey buddy,
why do we have a Kurt?
Speaker 5 (14:02):
I think it's to help with the sound. Maybe I'm
not it's nice. They whoever did it? Those pretty I mean,
someone put it together. So I almost feel is though,
trying to.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Keep the fans away.
Speaker 5 (14:15):
It's so now after doing the show yesterday, do you
kind of get a feeling?
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Oh yeah, make sense?
Speaker 4 (14:21):
People back and forth. Yeah, makes sense. I got, I got,
I gotta. I don't really like this hour. I don't
like the barrier. I don't like it.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
I don't like if you move the curtain, can you
open it up? I just don't feel like it should
be there.
Speaker 6 (14:39):
Yeah, all right, I just don't feel like it should
be there.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
These muting mics that he doesn't even know whose mic
it is.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Yeah, all right, So we'll give you a live play

front of Slide trying to actual.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Is trying to move the banner to the side where
people can see us because there's like a crowd.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Intelligence. Dude, we're basically like Monica Winz get the.
Speaker 3 (15:16):

Speaker 4 (15:28):
What what do you mean by that?
Speaker 3 (15:30):
What do you mean by that?
Speaker 4 (15:33):
Screw?
Speaker 3 (15:34):
Man?
Speaker 6 (15:35):
All right, I just feel like I don't have to
be all the way a one hundred right. Man, You're
out your mind with something like that. Man, I'm just
trying to recover. Yeah, and what Lee just did really
gave me motion sickness with no results.

LaVar Arrington, Yeah, I had to clear my throat.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
There's no real cough button.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
Just for the record, like, I'm trying to be helpful,
helping on the situation, unmuting people's mics and then Jonas
has to mute it and then unmute it again.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Professional broadcast on the air. Something you posted on your
Instagram that I mute.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
No, you're good.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
You posted on Instagram that chain that you got, the
linebacker you chained that I posted that thing's heavy?
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Man?
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Is that real?
Speaker 4 (17:37):
It's real? Bro? What'd you get a shop taking up
my chair man, Those are sweet. You don't have to
sit here and do that. Lead your chair right there?
You do have a chair. Why are you stand?
Speaker 5 (17:54):
The chain was in the chair, I know, but there's
a chair lead you could sit down.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
I feel weird you're standing.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
The chain was in the chair.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
I was respecting the chain, Beason.
Speaker 6 (18:03):
And I was with John And I was with another
Miami great linebacker who's one of the greatest linebackers that
played DJ Williams.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
He does he does TV now, Jonathan Vilma. There you go, Okay,
that was with Jonathan.
Speaker 5 (18:23):
Hey, all I know is if he were the genos DJ,
if you're with him, you weren't making the show.
Speaker 6 (18:29):
I was not with DJ because that duele DJ would
be proud what he was supposed to be there.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
He was supposed to be there. He is one of
my favorite human beings. Don't do They're all good guys.
I did it.
Speaker 6 (18:44):
J's got different, But I did it like I was
with DJ DJ. I did it like I was with DJ.
You know how they like do it like Jordan Nord?
What about do it like James? Do it like James
Frank and Baby I've never seen James party as hard
as I did last evening.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
Old old James Franklin.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
And it wasn't even like it wasn't that old gimmation
Jimmy Franklin.
Speaker 6 (19:12):
It was not a celebration party last night. It was
just a party.
Speaker 5 (19:16):
By the way, if we called him Jim Franklin, Jimmy
frank it doesn't sound as strong as James, you know,
like James is the head coach. Jimmy's like, hey, what's
this car to be known? With my wheel check?
Speaker 6 (19:26):
You know, I really believe we need to call him James.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Is that? Is that what's on the line tonight? If
James Franklin loses, we'll call him Jimmy Franklin.
Speaker 5 (19:36):
From here it's called like the Commandos. Is that what's
gonna happen? I don't know, because it's the same thing
with Marcus. It's like you can call Marcus, but it
really is called Mark. There's a big difference between Mark
Freeman and then Marcus. Like Marcus has like a Marcus
you had to earn it, but you say Mark, it's
like just Mark.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
I just know that James was envious of his hairline.
Well it's Philip tabit awkward. My hairline ed is moving
back just to tab it as well as all of us.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
Man, thank you. I appreciate that all of us. I
mean John Skips wear a hat. His is just gonna
start falling apart. We're not going to know it. You
doing all right? Good guy? Got it? Yeah? This hey.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
Co signed d osmeo.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
All right.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
So, speaking to James Franklin, he did.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
Have some observations what's going on.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
James Franklin did have some observations of college football, and
in talking yesterday at the media, he was up there
next to Marcus Freeman and he was discussing just conference play.
He was discussing how he feels like things should be
even across the board, and it sounded a little something
like this, I think.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
It should be consistent across college football.
Speaker 9 (21:02):
Again, this is no knock at coach or Notre Dame,
but I think everybody should be in a conference. I
think everybody should play a conference championship game, or no
one should play a conference championship game. I think everybody
should play the same number of conference games. Just the
numbers are going to make things more challenging if you're
playing one more conference game I just think things need
(21:23):
to be consistent across college football.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
So that was James Franklin discussing he did that in front.
Speaker 6 (21:29):
Of coach Yeah, with which I mean again coach Freeman,
by the way, which is crazy. Well, it's it's not
as if you know, Coach Freeman determines he doesn't Notre Dames.
That's conference affiliation, that's the president, that's the that's a
lot of people involved, and it's always been the stance
of Notre Dame. And again, if you want to go
(21:50):
through the history of it, we can, but Notre Dame's
always fought for their independence and they've been one of
the only programs who can successfully do it for such
a long period of time.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
Had NBC because of NBC, Like.
Speaker 5 (22:05):
There's multiple reasons, Like NBC has been part of it
because they've able they are able to get a TV
deal that makes it work, They've able to find conferences.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
For their other sports. That's a huge deal.
Speaker 6 (22:15):
You know.
Speaker 5 (22:15):
Obviously their affiliation with the ACC and with that came
five games a year. So I know it's not you know,
nine or eight, but it's it's more than half in
both those cases.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
So if Penn State would have had an NBC of
their own, would they have stopp being independent.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
I've argued for they were, and they wouldn't, But.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
I'm saying would they have would they have joined the
conference had they had a network like NB No.
Speaker 6 (22:38):
Other team has had a TV deal in place that
would lend to them being able to do what it
is that they're doing, like Notre Dame has had and
and they're like, you gotta and in a lot of ways,
you got to respect it because it's it's unprecedented.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
Yeah, way a hit.
Speaker 5 (23:03):
That's all I was gonna say is if we really
look at what's happened in college football, I would argue
that most schools, especially the big blue buds like a
Penn State, you know, like Ohio State, they all should
have broke off and become independent for football.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
You could have left the Pac twelve. Let it be,
Let it be.
Speaker 5 (23:18):
You never would have broken up the Pac twelve had
you just kept football and made it independent and allowed
the blue blood schools to go figure out either a
league to join or create, or just have them broker
their own playoff deal like that would have their own
TV deal for the playoffs and everything like that would
have been a much simpler way of doing all this.
(23:39):
So the way I look at it is Notre Dame's independence.
They fought for it in part because NBC has been there.
It's also their ability to schedule a schedule that allows
them to touch each each coast, the middle of the country,
always different alumni networks for their fundraising. Like that's a
big component too that not a lot of people talk about,
and the importance of that, you know, playing an East
(24:00):
Coast game like in Yankee Stadium, then playing out there
in Southern California, Northern California versus Southern Calige Stanford. And
the other thing I just say is this this is
a year where, yeah, the schedule did not look great, right,
Florida State's stunk USC wasn't great. Those are two of
your supposed big matchups coming in the season. But the
reality is more often than not they do have a
(24:20):
more difficult schedule. It just you know, the partnership with
the ACC has been in one in which the ACC
hasn't been that strong since they've joined with this kind
of half affiliation. And obviously the non conference scheduling, like
what I'd say is non conference, right, like outside.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Of your traditional USC Stanford.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
They always are going to play Navy, dating back to
the World War Two and that agreement. But a lot
of those matchups they've had, they have made them almost
like they're like their conference games because they're playing them
every single year.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
Like I just look at it, and if you could
work for yourself and you didn't need a boss, everybody
would choose that path. And it feels like Notre Dames
at a point, and they've built this up that if
they don't have to join a conference, why the hell
would they like if you're gonna end up in the
same place, and here we are, they're you know, to
try and argue they're not one of the twelve best
(25:10):
teams in college football based on there.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Look, you've seen it. The proof is there.
Speaker 9 (25:15):
They are.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
They had the outlier loss to Northern Illinois, which I
was honored to be able to play by player played
by play for for Brady on the phone. But I
just look at it and go to knock them for
and not that he was knocking it, but to be
critical of well, you know, they're an independent and they've Dude,
if you could be an independent too, wouldn't you like
if more teams around college football had the gravitas to
(25:38):
be able to be independent Ola, to to be able.
Speaker 6 (25:42):
To Kenny just say hello to you. You know he
can't you just say hello by the way she's because
oh it's it's I mean, just just say hello, Joan.
It's like, I don't know your language is not Spanish.
What are you saying O law for? It's a game, man,
(26:02):
You never know if you're not if you're not going
to speak one hundred percent Spanish. This is one thing
that bothers me at times. Why are you going, like
I even I am guilty of this. It's like, why
are you going to say two or three words that
(26:23):
fall into the Spanish language, which is like ninety eight
percent of what you're going to say to a person
where they can understand that two percent in English?
Speaker 4 (26:41):
Like you say O law or poquito or any words.
Speaker 6 (26:47):
It's like all of those, all of those things that
you're going to say to them that fall in that
two percent of of what you know as someone using
a different you know, your main language is different. They
understand they understand your language enough where you can just
(27:12):
say it the way you were going. What does O
delay mean? In English?
Speaker 4 (27:15):
It's getting fancy. Well, it's not getting fancy.
Speaker 6 (27:20):
It's actually if if like for me, like where I'm
at right now, we're having no filter on right now,
there's no filter.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
It's like it's offensive.
Speaker 6 (27:33):
Okay, it's actually offensive for you to only have two
percent adequacy and speaking a different length their language and
you're speaking that person sec opportunity and they know those
are the They know that that's the percentage that you're using.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
Percentage. I just what you guys are doing right now
is inappropriate.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
Here's here's why you just throw out an ola instead
of a hello at randomness.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
Please.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
It's the same reason why on a fast break a
guy doesn't just doesn't just lay it up off the glass.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
And it doesn't because why when you can get a
little flashy.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Ola is the slam dunk to the layup of language
Hello or Ola.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
Next thing you know, people are looking.
Speaker 6 (28:21):
Around and go, oh context must they know you're saying
ola because it's like, oh, I've got a different gripe
right now, this guy speak trying to speak my language
and can't speak but two percent of it out of
one hundred, and you're using the two percent like it's offensive.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
It's offensive? Oh all right.
Speaker 5 (28:43):
And what's more offensive is I'm here to tell you
there's a fly. There's been a fly kind of bothered
me around here for the record here yesterday.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
No, there was.
Speaker 5 (28:52):
There was not a killed one. It's someone ain't bathing,
someone's not doing proper high.
Speaker 4 (28:56):
That's my flybait. I don't know where. I don't know
that hair. You don't wash it enough. I can tell yeah,
you pulled that hat off yesterday. I was like, oh, yeah,
does have a look? Why does why does Lee have
a rosy red tent TOOLM? Because hey, it's perfect time.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
Man, that's what they call me. Are you getting a bloody?
Are you gonna get a bloody?
Speaker 4 (29:16):
I asked?
Speaker 3 (29:17):
He said, he can't give me until ten a m.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
Really, that's not a rule. That's the faus when they open.
It's not doesn't mean you can't make one.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
Does he know who you are? He doesn't. He actually
the He wasn't the one who gave us the coffees either.
He was a little late to the game.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
By the way, LeVar Lee did fib a little bit
on the area yesterday about the mini bottle.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
I didn't want to sound too degenerated. Yeah, So, so
what was what was the number you gave?
Speaker 7 (29:40):
Gave the real I said six bottles, I said to tequila,
to Evan Williams, to reality, to vodka wrap in reality,
four vodkas three.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
It's six bottles three and three.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
Uh, he actually got ten.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
I didn't want to sound too bad. It's a long
flo I only had one. I only had one on
the flight, and I had a nap in the middle
of that one. Yeah, but you pissed off somebody in
your row.
Speaker 7 (30:07):
Yeah, he got up and left, which fine by me.
I'll piss off anybody if it means I get extra
leg room.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
But what do you mean there's a fly right there?
Speaker 4 (30:16):
It was round late. For the record, that fly was
not here.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Yes, they called me pig pen.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
I got up.
Speaker 7 (30:22):
Nobody woke me up. Nobody woke nobody woke me up
for the for the drink cart by the way.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
Which was upsetting.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
Why do you make a guy mad?
Speaker 4 (30:30):
What do you do?
Speaker 3 (30:31):
Well, Okay, this is just a theory. I don't know
for sure.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
So I wake up.
Speaker 7 (30:36):
The drink cart had already passed. People next to me
had had their drinks, and I wave them down. They
were kind of yeah, of course, you have your soda.
Speaker 5 (30:44):
Yeah, because those aren't flight attendants who are like traded
in CPR, et cetera.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
They're really your bartender.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
Of course, that's what they're supposed to be doing. Yeah, hello, folks,
we have an emergency. At which bar keep? At which point.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
I don't know what that is? A bug? Oh that
was a bug? Did you get it? Of course?
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Good job. That was impressive.
Speaker 4 (31:07):
I do not need your I don't need that.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
So you why did you pinch the guy off?
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Well?
Speaker 7 (31:14):
Okay, So at which point he turns his back to me,
like you know, we're sitting next to each other, and
he goes ahead and like does a whole flip his
back to me and like gets the attention of He's like,
excuse me, is that seat over there available? And then
he made some call I couldn't hear, Like he was
whispering under his breath kind of thing.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
If I was snoring for the first forty five minutes
of the flight, I probably was.
Speaker 4 (31:36):
Did you smell like?
Speaker 3 (31:38):
I don't think so. I remember the old lady on
a flight back from Ireland.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
I do remember that.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
But I woke up and I was like, you know,
I had the window seat was that.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
The dinner last night? I did. Oh god, well, I.
Speaker 7 (31:49):
Figured I was gonna go up and dress into something
else after right after. Nobody's gonna see me right now.
Well I get that, but people are for sure, there's
people walking right now.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
Flight back from Ireland, the lady just like, hey, well hey,
I was you're breathing all over me.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
In my defense, I was in the middle of a
four seater.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
There was nowhere I could go.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
I was either snoring on someone. I was either snoring
on you or her.
Speaker 4 (32:15):
This one, I was snoring into the window.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
I was full.
Speaker 10 (32:19):
I know you were not, because I walked by. He
used to this dude, know this the window, Hey, you're
breathing all on me.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
Lady had a COVID mask off. I have to remove
the mask to tell him.
Speaker 4 (32:35):
Hey.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
After forty five minutes, this dude just up and left. Yeah,
and he had full Notre Dame track suit on.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
It was full regalia. He had.
Speaker 7 (32:45):
He had an attitude. I am sitting next to two
dudes with attitudes before they even sat down.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
Oh no, this guy was the last guy on the
fust there, last last guy. He was you know, you know,
you know you we've all been there where you're damnit
see that fly?
Speaker 4 (32:58):
Yeah, I see him.
Speaker 7 (33:00):
We've all been next up, We've all been next to
that person who's the last person on the flight. You're like, oh,
I got a free seat next to me, and then
it's the last person strolling onto.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
Then you were probably the last person the last person
wants to sit next to.
Speaker 7 (33:10):
Probably, yeah, he was not happy to see me immediately.
I had my penn state on, but I didn't see.
Speaker 4 (33:16):
I think it was you were like farting or something
in your sleep. That's what I'm wondering if.
Speaker 7 (33:23):
I was Probably because I didn't. I didn't let one
go the entire flat. I was very happy with myself.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
I don't know, man.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
I walked by, and uh.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
I walked by with about an hour the flight, and
and Lee looked like he'd been dead for three weeks.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
Like he was stumping back and forth. He had a
trade toll tray in front of him.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
But was I snoring?
Speaker 3 (33:47):
I didn't get that close, but I'm gonna say yes based.
Speaker 7 (33:50):
On because I'm a loud snore, so you would have
hurt your You were only three rows ahead of me.
Speaker 4 (33:54):
And what do you call when you snore?
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Saw on lugs.
Speaker 7 (33:59):
On lugs because also the guy who was on the
aisle seat again I'm on the window. He also had
an attitude to the point where the attendant was asking him,
are you okay, sir?
Speaker 1 (34:09):
If two people in the same row that don't know
each other both have a problem with the road that they're.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
In, you're the common den. You pissed somebody off your logs.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
They had a problem before they and he knarked on you, right,
He told him you had a mini bottle on you.
Speaker 7 (34:27):
I heard him say, he's like, you can see it
between his legs, and at the at that moment, I
was literally pouring.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
Probably.
Speaker 3 (34:39):
Oh well, I'll tell you the guy was a jerk.
Speaker 4 (34:42):
He was a notame guy.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
We are all right, problem all right?
Speaker 6 (34:46):

Good morning again, everybody. Good morning, Jonas, Good morning, Brady,
Good morning LeVar. Guys and Casey missed this. Hey Brady,
good morning to you. In case you missed this, we've
all had our eyes on the wildfires that are happening
in the Los Angeles area. The Kings and the Calgary Flames.
They they postponed their game. The NFL is now giving
(37:10):
out their contingency plan for that Rams Vikings game. That
is the wild card game that's gonna be played on Monday.
It's more likely than not that it's probably gonna be
played in Glendale, Arizona.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
I mean, huh, I could say this being at Lax
yesterday if that game was yesterday, not a shot and
how that goes on because the air quality was so bad, Yeah,
like really bad, and fires are just popping up left
and right, thoughts of risk.
Speaker 6 (37:35):
I had three close friends who lost their homes really
and yeah, man.
Speaker 4 (37:42):
It's you used to live out there, well out out
to Dina and Pasadena. I had. I had three, three friends,
three families that lost their homes.
Speaker 6 (37:52):
It's just very very sad news and very sombering news
and definitely hit home. You know, sometimes things hit close
to home but don't necessarily touch down on the home front,
but this one did, so you know, thoughts and prayers,
you know.
Speaker 4 (38:13):
It's it's.
Speaker 6 (38:15):
These fires have been pretty like kind of in a
way like very almost like catastrophic in a way where
it's like the fires take place and you know places
where it's like dang, like all right, that happened, Like
you hope they're okay, But it's not very it doesn't
(38:38):
seem like it's like mainstream maybe is the word I've
may be looking for. Yeah, but these fires have been
pretty mainstream in terms of where they have hit and impacted,
like almost like it's expected when there's a wildfire, you
expect the places that are hit. It's like, okay, it
hit that right, It's hitting areas where you wouldn't have expected.
Speaker 4 (39:02):
So on PCH there's you know, Pacific Coast Highway. Yeah,
there's are not from.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
The California moonshadows.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
There's all those restaurants that are on the coast there
master that all just burned up like ra I mean,
to the ground.
Speaker 4 (39:16):
So yeah, it's it's terrible.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
Man.
Speaker 4 (39:19):
What else we got? Later?
Speaker 3 (39:20):
Guys, we always look for trends, numbers, things like that.
Check this out.
Speaker 7 (39:26):
Trent Dilfer, aged twenty eight in two thousand and one,
wins the Ravens first Super Bowl. Joe Flacco age twenty eight,
twenty thirteen, twelve years later, Lamar has the second Super Bowl.
Twelve years later. That's now twenty twenty five. Lamar Jackson
just turned twenty eight two days ago.
Speaker 4 (39:40):
He's only twenty eight. I feel like he's been in
the NFL forever.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
So if this trend hits, that'll be a third twenty
eight year old.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
I mean it feels like it's been at least five years.
When did he win the Heisman? Yeah, I've looked back
in that. I think, like gotta f decadgo seven years ago.
Last me more than that. He must have gotten an
the league at twenty one, really yeah, because he had
a year of eligibility left. I think didn't he very interesting?
Speaker 3 (40:05):
It wasn't the year after he won that better than
his actual.
Speaker 4 (40:08):
Highest twenty sixteen, which would almost be ten years.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Yeah, it's years, No twenty eighteens when he came into
the league.
Speaker 4 (40:15):
He said twenty sixteen as well. Oh yeah, he came
back the next year.
Speaker 5 (40:19):
Remember, had an equal as good around better, didn't win it,
which is Iraq because he won the MVP last year,
has had a better season, he might not win it.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
Kind of crazy. Plus five point fifty to win the
Super Bowl. People leave in that history. If you get
paid at work, work,
