Hello, they're buying.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Yeah, they're back big time talking about baseball opening day?

Speaker 5 (01:36):
True, Oh no, some of the sweet sixteen oh h cool?

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
You seem to be real fired up about the NCAA tournament,
more so this year than others.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
For some reason.

Speaker 6 (01:46):
Can't imagine because his poll is his bracket is doing well,
my poll, whoa, I mean that's Doring well too.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Congratulations on the latest.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
Yeah, I'm just saying, you guys keep making about that.

Speaker 7 (02:03):
I just it's more exciting, like we're gonna get the
Donna national champion. We don't have a Yukon team that's
dominated the past couple of years, or it's been they've
been the clear cut favorite. They're out of the tournament now.
I mean Dan Hurley, he could be in some deep water,
but based on what an investigation finds. He was saying
after that loss, but we're gonna have a new champion,

(02:24):
and I'm really curious see who it's going to be.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
M I mean, but your bracket takes precedence over all
of that, Like that is that's not true.

Speaker 7 (02:35):
That's what it is. How I would phrase it is,
I am carrying the flag for our show. I mean,
someone's got to do it. Unfortunately neither of you two
did it, so someone's got to do it.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Damn.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
I mean, they say the sun shines on a blind
dog's I ask at least one time in its life,
and this is the time that it's shining on yours.
I mean, you've never been this high in the Brakeet Challenge.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
And that's not sure.

Speaker 6 (02:59):
You've never been this that's actually one hundred percent not true.
When have you ever been high on at? Like, when
have you ever finished?

Speaker 4 (03:07):
What?

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Top five two years ago? Top five? Probably top ten?

Speaker 6 (03:12):
Okay, top ten, everybody? I mean, we only have so
many hosts. One year, Brady picked the shu stink at
Bracket Challenges. Bro. Yeah, Brady, but you're good, You're good.
Today though Brady picked the n I t on accident.

Speaker 7 (03:26):
I mean, LaVar, we haven't worked together that long for
you have any clue what you're talking about.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
But that is status quo for one LeVar Anerton, you
know what I mean. You could think that you gave us.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
You gave us some great information last night. By the way,
in one situation that was like three days late. I
was like, this is a great text. It's just a
little bit late at this point in the week.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah, I like confirmation. You know, that was confirmation that
was sent on Sunday. There was a Wi Fi glitch
and it just went through yesterday.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
That's not true.

Speaker 7 (03:51):
Well, I don't get his. LeVar acts like I don't
talk to anyone that's in the NO on anything. It's like,
I'm not I don't. I don't act like anything. You
act like that, like say you think I'm let you.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Were late and you haven't worked with me long.

Speaker 6 (04:03):
We're on our second contract in this thing, man, chill out, damn.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
Good exactly, but we're also not on Apparently you don't
have recalling that many bragget challenges.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
I have not done bad, my friend.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
Oh my gosh, you've never finished in the top five. Bro, chill, okay,
relaxed man, what you're coming in?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Hot man? What's it's Thursday?

Speaker 5 (04:21):
I know it's basketball. I could be good at that too.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
It's a feel good well you gotta be good at everything.

Speaker 6 (04:26):
We know that.

Speaker 8 (04:27):
Just don't forget Lee's here too. I'm right behind you, Brady.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
You don't.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
Don't you know, don't even insert yourself in this moment. Bro, Like,
let us have our moment. Don't even don't even take
the focus away from from the tense moments. Me and
Q like to create every once in a while and
make everybody sit there and say, oh, they hate each other,
Oh my gosh, did you hear them this morning? Like,
we don't hate each other people, We don't. We're good

(04:55):
somebody as we can. We can break balls, you know that.
That is we're brothers. Part of what we do.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Somebody asked me about that one we're singing and work color.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
I see five.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
I told you there's just it's just a racial thing,
like it is. I wanted people to be calm.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
It is everything.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yeah, facial, it's just about that French tickler.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
And don't forget about the fangs either.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I'm so pale. I'm not even white.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Can't be race for them, you can't even see them
all right. So that being said, Lee, where where are
these standings at? Because I believe I'm right behind Brady LeVar.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
It's like I don't even know I'm seventh.

Speaker 8 (05:44):
You mean eleven points behind.

Speaker 9 (05:47):
That's correct, Jonas Brady is in second place, very high
in them all together, standings.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
With who's coming up with, who's holding us down in
the top ten, who's holding us down in the top ten?

Speaker 8 (06:00):
In third place? With fifty two right behind Bridge there
and a good job there.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yeah? Are you?

Speaker 6 (06:06):
Are you in that pole? I didn't see your name
in that poll in particular.

Speaker 8 (06:09):
I run the poll, dude, let's go Yeah.

Speaker 9 (06:14):
Yeah, geez uh, second you are?

Speaker 6 (06:23):
I mean, at least I heard it here first they
said there's no breaking news at this hour.

Speaker 9 (06:29):
LeVar, You are there with the likes of Steve Seger
and Aaron Torre is very high up there.

Speaker 8 (06:33):
So I think that's great company there.

Speaker 6 (06:36):
I mean, I'm going to move up after this sweet
six sweet sixteen round.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
I'm gonna move up.

Speaker 8 (06:42):
Yeah, I see it there. Uh.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
And so you're you you want to go there too?

Speaker 6 (06:48):
Do you want to be that guy. Yeah, you want
to be that guy because I mean, the Empire always
strikes back. That's have you not figured out I was
the leader of the key chat like, don't do it?

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Did?

Speaker 6 (07:01):
The Empire always straight back and they always strike back.
The Empire, no, bro, they like have different like if
you but how.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
Did it end? Didn't it end on like a high note?

Speaker 4 (07:16):
If you really.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
Pay attention to the Star Wars movies that the Empire,
like the what are they called the Federation and all
that other Listen, they're all they're the most funded. They're
they're like Duke, They're they're like, you know, notre Dame.
They're they're like, you know, the superpowers. They got all
the n I L. Money, they got all the resources,

(07:39):
they got all of the players, they got everything. It's
just you see these rebels and they do pretty good.
They do pretty well, and they like to make you
feel like there's a happy ending to the story, but
it really isn't.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
It really isn't.

Speaker 6 (07:52):
You you got you got the darts, you know, you
you got all these you know, they're they're super bad.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
The Empire always strikes back.

Speaker 10 (08:05):
Stick sticks.

Speaker 6 (08:07):
Yeah, yeah, just the fact that the rebels even fought
in the first place. That made it even relevant to
say that they fought back. But you ever noticed they
were always hiding from the Empire, and Empire has always
like got their big ships, and they got the Death
Star that's about to be completed. The rebels was always
hot and running being attacked. Every once in a while

(08:28):
they come.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Up with a little victory.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
Yeah, well they was getting spanked too, you know, is that?

Speaker 1 (08:36):
What is that like? Is this Star Wars stuff?

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Stars?

Speaker 8 (08:40):
I thought we were talking Harry Potter.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
No, I was.

Speaker 6 (08:43):
Always I was always in the Harry Potter isn't as
hard hitting?

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Were you?

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I wasn't really into the h what's that word? The
geeky stuff.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
I wasn't really reason I'd be doing lego sets with
my kids, like still to date, we do, you know,
Star Wars lego sets and we watch if you have Disney,
if you watch it on Disney, they have like all
of them, and you can like watch Bobo fet and
Han Solo and all whatever.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
I call him Bobo fat.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
What do you laugh at at? Boboe?

Speaker 6 (09:17):
That's what I've always called him, Bobo Fat. I've always
called him, so I'm gonna call him Bobo fat. Mom
said Bobo fat. I'm gonna say Bobo.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
By the way, what a lame name who came over
the cast and characters for that geek movie Losers.

Speaker 8 (09:35):
Jonas, you are in the place with forty three points.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Yea, well you know barely ten.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
That's all right.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
I flip flop to just flip flop this year.

Speaker 8 (09:45):
That's all.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
You got lucky last year? Didn't you get lucky last year? Brady?

Speaker 7 (09:51):
I mean, uh, John, I don't get it. I mean
it's literally one year last year. But I did great.
I mean I've done this for years. Has been hasn't been?
This has been bad?

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Is this truly? Is this true?

Speaker 6 (10:04):
Does he finish in the top five every year?

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Yeah? He does.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
Actually, you're usually in the mix, actually, Lar, I'm like,
I don't know where you get this from. I feel
like you just form your opinions based on how you
wake up, how you feel that.

Speaker 6 (10:16):
I mean, it's possible, that's not not possible. It is
certainly possible that.

Speaker 7 (10:26):
I mean, I'll put it this way. I've always filled
out the entire bracket. I cannot say that for Jonas.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
That's not a representation of my ability to fill out
a bracket successfully. That's a representation on the Wi Fi
connection and the fact that they can't embrace somebody who
likes to let everybody wait before he put his picks in.

Speaker 7 (10:47):
And also, well, I was gonna ask Lee, how far
ahead did you know? That, like Jonahs had only filled
out half the bracket that year.

Speaker 8 (10:56):
I probably wasn't on top of it that year, otherwise
it would have told him.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Why didn't Lee feel like you do? Know?

Speaker 6 (11:02):
Lee is the caretaker of one Jonas knock, Why did
you not finish out or fill out the rest of
the bracket form?

Speaker 8 (11:09):
No, until it's actually filled out and submitted. So it's
not like I'm over his shoulder filling it out for him.
I do that for some people like Ernie Spander and others.

Speaker 6 (11:18):
But I mean, I gave you my bracket. You know
I don't mess around with these electronics all like that.
So I gave you mine.

Speaker 9 (11:24):
Yeah, I helped you out last year by filling out, uh,
correcting one of your picks.

Speaker 6 (11:29):
Hold on now, relax, brother, So you're trying to say
that my success that I had last year was based
off of what you did to my to my bracket.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
What you're trying to say.

Speaker 9 (11:39):
An extra few points. I did, by miss bye, by
messing up your bracket, I did.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Help you out.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Got that touch, all right?

Speaker 6 (11:47):
Well, hey, what happened? You made the wrong picks from
it and it worked out for LeVar. Yeah, dang, I'll
never confirm that. I'll tell you that it happens sometimes.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
You know.

Speaker 6 (11:57):
I'm not giving you that type of credit. I'll never
confirment ever, not one time. So I don't even know what.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
You're talking see, you know what you know, it's kind
of a pain in the ass about this whole thing. Brady,
you have Duke winning at all?

Speaker 4 (12:09):
Correct? I do a.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah that too. Yeah, there, it's that Z's dead. So
here's here's what's screwed about the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
There's literally no possible way I win if the team
I also have winning, which is Duke wins the national
title because he goes because Brady waited until after my
pull my was in and.

Speaker 7 (12:43):
Then fact Scott reached out to me first and said
thank you for submitting years before.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
Jonas.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
I don't know that that's accurate.

Speaker 6 (12:53):
Jonas, you're such a passive, aggressive dude, bro, Like that'll
be ten dollars ten dollars for what because that, like
what you just did, it's unacceptable, man, it really is.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
Let me take let me take something this way. Like, nah, bro,
you do know that that you do know that.

Speaker 6 (13:12):
Brady goes into like a room that is set up
by somebody who attends to the Quinn family. They set
it up. He went there, he sat with his daughter.
They had like three monitors on the wall. They had
like three laptops in front of them. They they hit
jack chat GPT on one, they hit the other dip
on the other rock, they hit GROC on the other one,

(13:35):
and then they went online and just freestyled it on the
other you know screen. They pulled everything up together. They
took all of the data, they looked at it. They
pulled out highlighters, they printed out papers, they looked, they
did eliminations and came up with the bracket.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Bro. He says that every.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
Me and my daughter, and you know, she's doing a
little bit better than me. Like Bro, that like, if
it's a really just thing, don't mess with it. Bro,
That's That's all I can tell you can't. He comes
from Ohio, he played in Indiana. Clearly he's a basketball savant.
So like relaxed Jonas. Let me and take your relax

(14:16):
and take your l's Jonas.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Let me tell you something. If you were to put
your hands on me, I'm.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Swinging you swing it.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
If that man puts his hands on your hand, I'm
immediately swinging. What you swinging at? What you swinging at?

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Air?

Speaker 6 (14:33):
You're looking for air for your lungs? What you what
you're gonna swing at? I tell you what type of confrontation?
Why are you talking about confrontation?

Speaker 1 (14:42):
If LeVar puts his hands on me, I'm swinging.

Speaker 6 (14:45):
Hey, nobody mistaken steven A for no fighter. Man, that
you're too old in your life. Man, you don't even
got to say no mess like that. Bro. Leave that
one alone. That man that hits you on you like
disappearing cloud of dust?

Speaker 4 (14:59):
Relax?

Speaker 1 (15:01):
What has happened to this industry?

Speaker 4 (15:06):
I don't get it? Man?

Speaker 6 (15:07):
Why Why are these dudes so like? Why they're so
like valent though? Like I don't understand. Every time these
dudes get into like an exchange, it like always turns
into the see that's how you know they not defenders.
You never see defenders do this, man. You don't never
see defenders crash out like you never sit here and
hear me say something, I'll knock his ass out. Like

(15:29):
you know, I'll knock your ass out, you know I will.
What I'm gonna talk about some physical stuff for if
it's imminent danger. That's the only time you will ever
see LeVar be any type of violent. You won't ever
hear me talk violent. Nothing, nothing, just joking around. But
I'm not a valiant dude, you know what I mean,
which is crazy because my position called for me to

(15:51):
be a valiant dude. These soft ass dudes, I'll hear
me talking all this head Man, you wouldn't bust a greape,
You wouldn't work your way out of a wet paper bag.
So some wet toilet tissue talking about something. Who I'm like,
I'm gonna get at him immediately if he puts it. Man,
shut your ass up. Ain't nobody worried about all of that?

Speaker 5 (16:10):
You know?

Speaker 7 (16:10):
I was thinking too, because you know, being with my
kids on spring break, one of them found like a
little fishing lure that's like kind of.

Speaker 5 (16:19):
Shiny, and you know, my daughter was like, hey, Dad,
like what is this?

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Like?

Speaker 7 (16:23):
Why why would someone put the song with it with
a hook to catch a fish? I was like, well,
you know, it attracts to the eye of the fish sometimes,
and like even sharks and stuff like that, they'll say
like they can kind of see like the shininess or whatever.
And I was thinking, and going back to what you're
saying right now, maybe the shininess of that oxygen tank
happened to like with that whole you know, fish to

(16:48):
cuffs that went off out of that sounds like maybe I.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
Had to do with it, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
Maybe maybe the shark and it just happened to like,
you know, attract your attention or however that worked.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
For those you that are not familiar.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
LeVar was seen on camera assaulting a man on hospice,
So that's that's kind of where now that whole played out.

Speaker 6 (17:08):
It was a sent if I if I was like
if I if.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
I could have sworn somebody has given him his last
rites in the background, but again, what do I know
and walked up to him.

Speaker 6 (17:19):
They were if I was as valid as Stephen A
is and talking about being valient, then that dude would
have been in trouble.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
That's all I'm gonna say.

Speaker 6 (17:29):
You know, if I'm executing like what Stephen a talking
about I would immediately, you know, disarm that man of
his oxygen tank, of his of his lifeline, whatever it
is that's connected to him. Man, you know, but that
ain't me. You know, I turned over a different leaf
in life. Man, I'm peaceful. What we do like all

(17:51):
this time later, Like what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (17:53):
Man?

Speaker 6 (17:54):
Like you're an immediate like bro, like you're in the
you're in the media, even us a former players, and
I know he'll say he's a former player, which that.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
You know, take it or leave it, I guess. But
let's be.

Speaker 6 (18:07):
Clear here, man, even as former players, you are now
a civilian. Your superpowers really are gone. It's like you
went into the chamber like like Superman did, said he
wanted to be human so he could be with Lois
Lane took it, boom, came out, didn't have superpowers no more.
Went to the little little diner, was eating and then
the dude looked at him and was like, what are

(18:27):
you talking about? You know, Christopher Reeves look at him,
like what are you talking about? Dude, pops him in
the face. He's like, huh pluck Like, hey, bro, you
are normal Stephen Ay, we are normal.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
Them dudes that's still playing. They ain't.

Speaker 6 (18:42):
No. I don't care how old Lebron is, He's still
not normal. That man's body is in a different type
of conditions. It's trained differently than you. What you're talking about.
I'm gonna throw hands with him immediately if he touches
the man, get out of here, Bro, any of us
like state like we got to stay it, Like learn
that you are not the bigger star than these athletes.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Man, just accept it. You're not the same women.

Speaker 6 (19:07):
Like you may get some good looking women Stephen Ay,
but the same women that which I know, you gotta
chick whatever, but the same people are not gonna want
you that want Lebron James. The same people that want
to be around Lebron James if they want to be
around you, You're like, you're not in first place. Like
if Lebron comes walking in while they're talking to you,
they're gonna walk away from you to go try to

(19:29):
talk to and clamor to Lebron James. Just get over it, man,
Like these dudes just got to get over it and
understand you're in media like it holds a place, it
holds a purpose, But be humbling your approach and understand.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
What your role is. Man.

Speaker 6 (19:45):
Your role is to report on them, to give your
opinion on the real stars. Those are the stars. I'm
sorry if you if you run the game, if you're
if you're a Gus Johnson and you're running the game,
and you know you're a Joe Buck, you're running the game. Like,
if you're running the game, all right, you're a star.
You're a star of the show. You're one of the
stars of the show. But make no mistake about it, Stephen.

(20:07):
They saying stuff like that, man, that's like exposure. Man,
Stop exposing yourself. You sound like a straight douchebag for real, Like,
what do you mean you're gonna put hands on him immediately?
Like after all this time that it happened, Like it
don't make no sense, man, you're just looking for attention. Yeah,
well that's what sounds like. At least you're gonna talk violence. Man,

(20:30):
You're gonna throw violence out there, like for what you're
an old ass man.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
We old as hell.

Speaker 6 (20:35):
That stuff don't sound right, man, You like you're a
respective person in the industry. There are young people that
respect you. There are people in college that are aspiring
to be like you. People see your contract. Fight with
your contract, Like, just talk about how well you're doing
in the industry, in the field you're in, like like
fight like that. Don't talk about no violence, man, Don't

(20:56):
nobody want to hear about no fighting and no violence.
Upid man, that's like a lack of education that goes
along with that. We all know that he's not uneducated,
So why are you talking like low end man? Like
people handle things with violence when they don't have any
other recourse of how to handle this situation.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Like I'm gonna put my hands on him.

Speaker 6 (21:17):
Naw, I'm gonna put my hands on my cell phone
and I'm gonna call my lawyer up and I'm gonna say,
we're gonna get some of this Lebron James money because
he put his hands on me. Not No, I'm gonna
throw hands back, Like who you proving something to man?
Let me get some of that LBJ money. You know
what I mean? You could never have enough of them.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
Damn.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Right now, we are going to We thought this would
be a good idea to give to give everybody on
the show an opportunity to try and win the bracket.
Later on, we're gonna draw names out of a hat
we get sixteen teams remaining, Lee, myself, Lebar, and Brady
will draw names out of a hat live on the air,
and we'll just roll with whoever those four teams are,

(21:56):
and it's probably gonna go the way that it it
went because every his groove towards Brady in this tournament, yes,
is disgusting, but he'll probably get the top four favorites.
It'll be Duke, Florida, Auburn, Houston, and then we'll just
be stuck with the scrap. So I we'll do that
later on in the show. Albert Breer is going to
stop by. We've got another edition of In case you

(22:16):
missed it. We've also got Lee's leftovers. All of it
is yours here from the tiraq dot com studios. Up next,
though apparently everybody is sold on the answer at quarterback
for one franchise or are they.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
We'll get into that right here on FSR.

Speaker 10 (22:33):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady, Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (22:47):
I feel so close to you right now, Jesus, that's
like a force field.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Two pros and a cup of Joe.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
Fox Sports Radio LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with
you here coming up a little over fifteen minutes from
now from the tire Raq dot Com studios.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Something in the NFL is gone and gone for good.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
We'll explain what it is coming up here a little
over fifteen minutes from now here on FSR. So for
anybody who thought that the Aaron Rodgers to the Vikings
move is gone for good, we had some comments from
the Vikings GM Questia Dopa Mensea yesterday who spoke about
the discussions with Rogers and also what they're playing as

(23:36):
a quarterback.

Speaker 11 (23:36):
He's got a relate relationship with Aaron. They've had a
lot of conversations. Obviously, he luked us in and we
kind of met and go from there. It's a new
thing to talk about a player of that caliber. It's
our job as a personnel group to make sure we're
aware of every potential option. You know, we want to
make sure that there's a competition in the room to
make sure that if you remember last offseason when JJ
and Sammer really competing that brought the best out of

(23:57):
both of them. And so you want an environment that's
like that, a support vironment to also just challenge each
other with grow and learn and all those different things.
And so we're trying to solve for a lot of
different things at once, and you know, from all those
conversations comes to list of names and maybe an order
and an intentional plan on how the best solve for
those things. So you know, a player like him, he
is always going to be in those conversations. But you
know from our you know, delineations at that time where

(24:20):
we're happy with where we are going forward. But you know,
obviously the caliber player and just you know, all urse
is just we had to make our considerations.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
So there's the vikings GM talking about the Aaron Rodgers conversations,
his relationship with Kevin O'Connell, the head coach, and what
the plan is moving forward. I just think the whole
their handling of this whole thing is weird. I really do, like,
I like what is going on. And Brier kind of
mentioned this last week a little bit like what is

(24:49):
the doubt with JJ McCarthy, because it does feel like
there's something there with that that they're even this conversation
is even continuing with Rogers as opposed to.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Hey, happy with what we got this.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
It feels like they're always leaving the door slightly open,
like there's always the potential, and whether it was trying
to retain Darnold, Daniel Jones, the Rogers stuff. Even after
it's over, it doesn't feel like it's over when they
could clearly just cut it and say no, we're moving on,
it's done, like he's our guy, you guys.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
I think one of the things that stands out to
me is two out.

Speaker 7 (25:24):
Of the last three years, you know, they've won thirteen
or more games. This past year fourteen games, And for
Kevin O'Connell, I think it's it's a decision of like
do you want to take a step back, you know,
do you want the season to potentially feel like twenty
twenty three where you go seven to ten that missed
the playoffs. I mean, they are a team that this

(25:45):
was supposed this past season was supposed.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
To be a rebuilding year.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
Right.

Speaker 7 (25:50):
They draft JJ McCarthy, They draft Dallas Turner in the
first round to replace what they lost, and Kirk Cousins
and d'aneil Hunter and McCarthy gets hurt, Darnold comes in,
he's signed on there as a backup, and they end
up having a season where they go fourteen and three.

Speaker 5 (26:06):
In the last game of.

Speaker 7 (26:07):
The season, they're playing for the division and then number
one overall seed in the NFC. So I think there's
a collective thought that this team and the roster the
way it's constructed, especially with flow Brian Flores calling the defense,
is one that can compete and.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
Go into the playoffs right now. And so there's got
to be a divide in the thought of.

Speaker 7 (26:30):
Well, if you bring in Aaron Rodgers, you're bringing in
a veteran that you leaves have a better idea of
what he is.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
Than what he's not.

Speaker 7 (26:41):
At this point with JJ McCarthy, you don't really know
anything outside of what you saw up until the injury
last year, and I'm sure with what they saw was
he's pretty green. You know, it wasn't for lack of
reps during his time at Michigan as far as playing
the quarterback position. It was for the lack of being
in the position where he's really gonna have to carry
a team throwing the football and making those plays. We

(27:04):
know Rogers has done that can do that. The problem
with McCarthy is we don't wonder how healthy is how
he's responded to that, you know, to his overall command.
It's gonna be a lot different. You've got a guy's
a four time MVP coming in and he's choosing Minnesota
because that's ultimately what he feels like is the best
place to go. You know, I mean the Minnesota Vikings.

(27:26):
If we're really you know, playing that game and going
back to the bar scenario, they're the pretty girl at
the bar that he's trying to entertain and he's trying to.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
You know, take home.

Speaker 7 (27:36):
But the reality is is they don't necessarily want him.
Right now, still early in the night, they're still just
having fun. That's saying what they've gotten JJ McCarthy. So
David Dunn, who's the agent at Athletes first of at
Aaron Rodgers, has continually preached for Rogers to be patient,
and I think it makes sense.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
We keep talking about like the deadlines in regards.

Speaker 7 (27:57):
To how it relates to the draft, but also if
you really let this thing play out, maybe the Vikings
get to a point where they're like, man, we feel
like we're in a really good spots to compete this year,
and we're just not sure about JJ. I mean, if
you're Rogers and you sign with the Steelers, even though
I think they have a good roster and they're that
team that's been highly competitive, obviously, if it's second, the

(28:20):
second fiddle, second choice.

Speaker 5 (28:21):
You don't think he'd be sitting there in Pittsburgh having regrets.

Speaker 6 (28:25):
Potentially, I think there's some real, really big implications to
where Aaron Rodgers ends up in how he plays, and
I think that's probably directly connected to Aaron Rodgers and
how he feels about things. As far as why it

(28:46):
seems as though they're keeping the door open with Aaron
Rodgers and what they're doing. I think sometimes it's just
simply put right, like you just said, cute, they don't
really know what they're getting from JJ McCarthy. Yes yet,
And there are some variables now added variables in terms
of him coming back from an injury that kept him

(29:08):
from playing in last year's season.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
So when I'm.

Speaker 6 (29:11):
Looking at it and you know who Aaron Rodgers is,
there's no reason to come across in any other way.
But how they've come across, right, Like the bottom line
is is whether they're interested or not in Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers has had a brilliant football career. There's no

(29:32):
reason to ass on him, you know, there's no reason
to be like, ah, we don't want him, you know,
like there's no reason to like turn it into it
being like adversarial or confrontational. So, whether they want to
keep the door open and there's legitimacy to that that
they may want to bring him in, or if there's not,

(29:53):
I think that they're still executing or exercising I should say,
a level of respect towards what that man has represented.
They've gone against him for his whole career, and so
I think that there's a certain level of respect for
Aaron Rodgers and a certain level of reverence for Aaron
Rodgers that this is the team he wants to play for.

(30:15):
These are the conversations that are being had. Obviously they're
in need of a quarterback, but then the biggest question becomes,
do you need a quarterback to come in and start
right now versus a quarterback to come in and be
a safety net for JJ McCarthy, your top draft pick.
And that's clear. I think they've made it very clear
that it is the latter. They want a safety net

(30:38):
just in case JJ McCarthy either a gets hurt or
doesn't perform well, isn't ready to perform well, or doesn't
perform well that happens. But I don't even know, for
being honest, I don't even know if Aaron Rodgers is
the answer if they go to Aaron Rodgers as an
option or as an answer if JJ McCarthy comes up short, don't.

(31:03):
I don't know that to be factual information, that that's
just a given that, Okay, Aaron Rodgers is going to
wait on Minnesota. Minnesota is going to wait to see
what JJ McCarthy does, and if he doesn't do it,
then it's Aaron Rodgers. I don't know that that's how
this turns out. So to me, I just think that
this is one of those deals Aaron Rodgers. Maybe it's overstated,

(31:23):
you know, in terms of the idea what Aaron Rodgers
is going to end up doing, But I think it's
going to be Pittsburgh when it's all said and done.
You wait, he's probably waiting for whatever reasons he's waiting for,
and he's going to go to Pittsburgh because that is
really the only valuable team and valuable option for Aaron

(31:45):
Rodgers at this point and for Minnesota. You know, there's
no reason, there's no reason to create any unnecessary attention
or any type of ill feelings or anything like that.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
Based off of what you have to say about.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Aaron Rodgers and what you may or may not do
with them. It's good to see that you are coming
around on Aaron Rodgers of our You know what that means.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
It was just the.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Jets because he was there wearing that mask. You looked
at him differently. Now that you see, oh, it's just
because he was in a terrible organization. Now you're more
open to the idea of him coming to Pittsburgh to
play for your Stillers.

Speaker 6 (32:23):
I'm the one that said that. I believe that the
Stellers would be a great option and opportunity for Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
If you recall, I did say that day.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
One, does he get a primanny Sandwich?

Speaker 6 (32:34):
I think they would like For some reason, I think
they would like Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh. I think he's
got the personality for it. I think he just has
to be careful and yes, he could get a Primanny's sandwich.
They could possibly name one after him. I mean they
might have learned their lesson with russ I don't know,
but I mean there's the possibility as a promotional item

(32:55):
they could hav an Aaron Rodgers sandwich available.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
So there you go.

Speaker 6 (33:00):
I'm just curious will it have cheese curds on it
or will it have French fries because you know, we're
known for putting French fries on all our ass, but
they might try to do something creative like put cheese
curds on it. Even though that goes back to when
he was in Wisconsin.

Speaker 5 (33:15):
Did Russell have a sandwich or was that subway?

Speaker 6 (33:18):
I think they did have a name of a sandwich
for him on on the menu.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
The Danger which or whatever it's called.

Speaker 5 (33:24):
That was subway.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
No, he did, he had one in they took that.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 6 (33:31):
Know if they still have it, but it might have
been a promotional item.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
So really sound investment. You know, lasted all of a
few months, so you know.

Speaker 6 (33:40):
But the good thing about restaurants like that you can
change your menu with you know, special promotional you know
menu items like it's like having the Saint Patty's Day,
you know beer special with green beer, like you get
to put it on there for for a day, you know,
or two, and then you get take it right back off.

(34:01):
I mean, same thing when you do players, you know
what I mean, Like paus You put them on your
your your menu, and if they do well, boom it
it becomes a staple. The real question is does he
have his face on the wall. If they've painted his
face on the wall, then they really mess with him.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
You know.

Speaker 6 (34:18):
If your face ain't on the wall, then you really
didn't do much for the community that that Permanny services.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
So there you go.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
That's a good point.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
That's a big that's a big deal if you get
on the wall.

Speaker 6 (34:28):
Yeah, that's like what they're known for, French fries on
their sandwiches, and and all their their stores, their brick
and mortars. They have all the celebrities that are connected
to their community on the wall.

Speaker 4 (34:39):
So there you go. I'm look for his face.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
I meant to look at the State College Permanny wall
when we were there, but I couldn't.

Speaker 6 (34:48):
Or others, yeah, yeah, or others you know, but that's
only if you've done something, you know what I mean.
You just gotta you gotta work hard in your life.
You gotta go head down, you know, boots down, ten
toes down, and you just got to go do what
you gotta do.

Speaker 4 (35:01):
And if you do it well enough, you know they'll
put your face on the wall.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
That's all.

Speaker 6 (35:04):
You know.

Speaker 4 (35:05):
What'll work.

Speaker 2 (35:05):

Good good morning, everybody, Good morning, Jonas, Good Mornin LeVar, Good.

Speaker 8 (37:05):
Morning Brady, guys. In case you missed this, Hey Brady, guys.

Speaker 6 (37:11):
Why don't you do it when he's here? Jonas? Why
don't you do it while he's here?

Speaker 4 (37:14):
Jones?

Speaker 1 (37:14):
When he's here?

Speaker 4 (37:15):
Hey, you know that's how they say you say a
Lee c ball. You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (37:20):
Hey, Lee?

Speaker 4 (37:23):
I don't know. I defend you every time.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Are you off your meds?

Speaker 4 (37:30):
No? I am not.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
But that is not.

Speaker 6 (37:33):
That is not what this is about, guys.

Speaker 9 (37:41):
In case you missed this, our favorite rule in the
NFL Handbook is Rule twelve, Section three, Article one D.
And in section three, it talks about unsportsmanlike conduct.

Speaker 8 (37:53):
Well, in this rule they've now expanded it to uh.

Speaker 9 (37:57):
You know, this is the kind of rule that it
talks about, no throat slashing, no bang bang pistol, pistol
with your with your fingers. Now it's talking about no
violent gesture, including the nose swipe or the nose wipe.

Speaker 4 (38:11):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (38:11):
Famously donned by Ceede Lamb.

Speaker 9 (38:14):
Ceedie Lamb is taken to uh social media, saying smh.

Speaker 8 (38:17):
I have plenty in mind in order to replace the nosewipe.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
I don't like what is the nose white? What are
they like signifying? What does that mean like when you
smell your finger?

Speaker 8 (38:28):
You know, I thought it was one thing.

Speaker 9 (38:31):
Apparently it does have gang undertones, is what it's said
in the US in the.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
Oh my god, not the gangs.

Speaker 8 (38:41):
I would have thought something else.

Speaker 6 (38:43):
But okay, well maybe that's connected to the gangs. You know,
maybe that's why it's gang affiliated.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
You know, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (38:50):
I mean, you mean you're you're playing the basket of
ball and you're making millions of dollars, and yet you're
still doing those gang related activities. Oh my gosh, what's
wrong with them?

Speaker 2 (39:03):
I like the the throat slash gesture.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
I didn't even get the outrage on that one.

Speaker 6 (39:09):
You're not even allowed to do anything that that even
remotely represents valance in the league. You are getting your
you getting fine big time.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Do you guys have a go to celebration when you
made a great play?

Speaker 4 (39:23):
No, I didn't. I act like I've been there before.

Speaker 9 (39:28):
I remember there was a week when they brought out
this rule. And still on Monday Night football they were
showing Barry from the Chiefs doing the bow and arrow
into the crowd.

Speaker 4 (39:40):
You can do bow and arrow.

Speaker 6 (39:42):
You can do bow and arrow, but you can't do
a bow and an arrow at the player.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
You can't. You could do guns.

Speaker 6 (39:48):
You could pull guns out and shoot into the air,
but you can't shoot a player. Okay, I mean that's
the truth. Like, you can't make a valent gesture like that, and.

Speaker 9 (39:59):
Also was sexually suggestive. What is it two humps or
three humps where it gets you the fined?

Speaker 4 (40:05):
I don't know who used to do that.

Speaker 8 (40:06):
Bennett used to do it, right, somebody on.

Speaker 6 (40:11):
Bennett was the first one to start doing that though,
right in Seattle. You remember he make a dude to
ravish him Rick Rug, Yeah he was.

Speaker 5 (40:18):
He was actually the originator.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Yeah, so ending past two gets you fined.

Speaker 6 (40:24):
That's so funny. So what you gotta get it off
on one? I guess.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
Like I don't.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
All right, there's one, two, two, two, there's two, three,
three hip pumps.

Speaker 4 (40:40):
Fine them
