a Wednesday morning. How are we feeling good?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yep?

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Oh, yeah, that good.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I mean, I don't know. It is hump day getaway.
It is getaway day for State College. Isn't it gonna
be uh, boots on the ground there soon.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Boots on the ground.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
Man, I'm up out of here, soon as this is
as soon as we've done cracking the mic on last segment.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Out of here, Yeah, out of here, right out to
State College. It's nice to look so close. It doesn't
make the travel that bad.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Bruh. It is the worst.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Yeah, and I'm still shocked you just haven't moved to
the East coast by now.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
Yeah, but I have a daughter at Oregon, so it's
kind of like, I know, you know, I have very
seriously considered moving to the East coast somewhere warm, probably Florida.

(02:35):
I have considered it, or Texas, like a midway point.
But you know, I don't know. I don't foresee me
leaving where I'm at just yet, just yet. So we'll see.
But it is not an easy flight, by the way,

(02:56):
to all the people out there, it was sarcasm. I
am going on west east and it's uh it takes
all day.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
I won't get in until later on.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Are you going Harrisburg or State College? Here?

Speaker 5 (03:06):
I'm getting into State College. Yeah, again in State College.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
So the cafe are going to be open this time?

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Or no?

Speaker 4 (03:12):
No, that cafe to ten?

Speaker 3 (03:14):
What's up? Oh well two ten probably will be open.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Has that cafe at the airport ever been open?

Speaker 5 (03:20):
Yes, it's open early. No, hell no, it's open early
and they had good.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
You're lying. I'm telling you they got good. You're lying.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
At State College, nothing Ethic's never open.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
I have never seen it open. Hell no, I get
breakfast food from there all the time. It's just a
certain hour. It's a certain now I'm telling you the truth.
It's open from like seven to nine am on weekdays.
I mean it might be that window, it could be
that window, but nonetheless it is open.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Uh what when Yeah, it was like oh no, this
is like maybe like ten ish eleven ish that I've
gone there.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Yeah, they serve drinks you can get like a.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
No no, nothing like that.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
No, no, nope, Well then it doesn't count. It doesn't count. No,
I'm sorry. I mean, but they they do have some
some fresh food. They do make fresh impinadus. They're pretty good.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Totally.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Well, we do have we do have somebody that's also
arriving soon because according to Adam Schefter, Trey Hendrickson, Oh
here we go, he's planning to report to Bengals camp
later on today, ending his hold out without being any
closer to a new deal. Per sources, Reporting to camp

(04:46):
stops the fifty thousand dollars per day fines and also
serves as a good faith gesture to try to jumpstart negotiations.
So h not anywhere closer to getting the deal that
he wants passed the first year of game guarantees that
they're willing to offer. Reportedly, but Trey Hendrickson is in
camp for the Bengals, and maybe we're getting closer to

(05:07):
getting this whole thing figured out. And listen to a
shout out to Pete Prisco who called a shot. Maybe
he and his buddy at Duke Tobin were conversing about
how this whole thing's going to go. But Trey Hendrickson
is back. He is back.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Another win for the owners, another win. I mean, Pete's
right though, And that's one of the reasons why whether
you're holding out, holding in really doesn't matter. The owners
have all the leverage, you know, look at Trey Hendrickson's situation.
He's coming back. I assume they're going to wipe away
these fines. But he's coming back. And meanwhile, his replacement,

(05:41):
Shamar Stewart, he's be staring at him the entire time
this season. I mean, it just that's the reality of
the league. Every single year, there's a new class coming
in that can replace you. And even as good as
he's been, there's still always going to be that price
point where they say it's just too much, we're gonna

(06:01):
move on in a different direction. Tough business man, tough
business But I do hope he gets at least, you know,
a couple of years or two to three year extension,
whatever he can get done. I hope he gets it
done because he's been awesome so far.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
It makes you wonder, though, again, when you say a
win four for the owners I think of it. From that,
it made me start thinking about you making the statement
of is it good for is it better for Micah
to be there? And I'm like, well, it doesn't matter.
And I still I still feel like maybe it's an

(06:37):
apples to oranges comparison because Micah is so much younger
and is on his rookie contract. And that was kind
of the direction maybe my mind went in reasoning wise,
is that his good faith in being in camp and
participating and you know, feeling confident about a new contract,

(07:01):
knowing that he wants a new contract. I felt like, Okay,
maybe Micah has a different situation. But when I saw
the news that Hendrickson was coming in, I'm like, all right,
what motivation does does Cincinnati have to give him a
new deal?

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Now?

Speaker 5 (07:19):
I mean, do you come in participate and say, okay, well,
if I don't have a deal by week one, I'm
not playing, Like what what does Hendrickson now do in
order to try to ensure as much as possible the
opportunity of getting a new you know, a new number

(07:40):
connected to his deal. I don't see how he has
any more leverage at all, if any reporting into cap
You're basically saying, I'm conceding the battle of negotiating and
I'm going to come in and I'm going to take
the contract that I have. And Pete was right, you're
taking it because why would you one be paying the fines.

(08:02):
You're you're not only not making money, you're giving away money.
I mean you're making money, but you're giving away money
with the deal that you currently have versus you're not
losing anything and you're just waiting for them to give
you a new contract. I just, you know, don't I

(08:25):
don't know how this ends. I don't know that good
faith is good enough in the scenario that that's playing
out with Hendrickson.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Is it a bad look on hendrickson part because he's
been so vocal, Like it's played out more publicly like
the you know, We've got Cowboys stuff, you know later
on with Jerry Jones and Stid that whole fiasco, but
with the Trey Hendrickson stuff, He's been vocal about it
multiple times this offseason. He's been public about it, He's
gone to social media about it multiple times. And then

(08:53):
ultimately we're not even out of July and he's back
like it was just a few days ago, he posted
some picture on Instagram where he's driving down a road
in Florida like deuces, you guys, figure it out and
let me know when you want me. And less than
a week later he's back. Just feels like it's kind
of a bad look for him.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
I don't. I mean, look, I'm not judging him. Everyone's
in a different spot in regards to how they feel
about the negotiations and what they're looking for and everything else.
But you know, if you're going to go go do
it like commit one way or another. You know, either
don't drive home and say, all right, I'm gonna show up,
but I'm not gonna do anything while I'm here. I'm
gonna just to work out, stay in shape and wait

(09:31):
for something. And I'm gonna say I've got a sore
back or you know, tight hamstring, whatever you need to
say to to miss that time and so you get
the contract you're looking for. That's usually what players do.
Or you just hold out, man, I mean, you stay
strong with the whole situation and you force a team
to have to go into the season and you know,
deal with life without you. A team that you know

(09:52):
arguably their defense held them back.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Last year.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
One of the reasons why Al Golden comes in as
their defensive coordinator. So if everything he has been reported
is he's coming back and they're not any closer, but
it's an act of good faith. It's like, all right,
you're really putting a lot of faith in the Bengals,
given you a deal that's not going to be as
good as you'd like it to be.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
I think it's it's unfortunate, it really is, because I
think what gets lost in all of it is how
phenomenal Hendrickson has been as a football player. And there's
so many things that we'll be focused in on and
looked at and scrutinized and talked about outside of the

(10:42):
value that that man brings to the Cincinnati Bengals team.
How good can this team be without Trey Hendrickson out
there on the field. I don't know. I just don't know.
In a division like the one that they're in, for
as good as they're off is you have to have

(11:03):
a defense, and your defense has to travel. And if
you don't have enough guys that like it used to be,
you you need enough corners. You can have enough cover
corners in your in your your Arsenal. I think it's
understated to say you can't have enough pass rushers on

(11:26):
your team so much so I believe they changed it.
I mean they changed the position to edge. They don't
even call them dns anymore. It's an edge. You can't
have enough guys that can play the edge, and to
lose the main one that you have, I think you
you disrupt the possibility of having a larger level of

(11:50):
success on your defense if you even have a disgruntel
unhappy Trey Hendrickson on your roster. So I think it's
a bad move by the Bengals. But who am I.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
You know, well, listen, if you listen to Bengals fanboys,
they'll tell you, no, listen, you know what you're talking about.
Trey Hendrickson against the run was poor. He was this,
and he was that. It's like, dude, the guy led
the league in sacks. I mean, what are we talking
about here? Like he's gotten better over the years since
he's been there and signed his deal and got whatever
little extension they gave him a year ago. So now

(12:24):
he's back. Are you guys if you were betting right now,
like you had to go, like imagine you know, just
for example, imagine you were pitching for the Guardians and
you're a degenerate gambler and you had to go place
a wager right now, do you believe Trey Hendrickson has
a deal before a week one of the.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Season without a doubt. I'd put all my money if
I was that player in this quote unquote hypothetical situation
we're talking about, you know, not that this has actually
played out in real life. Oh not that, not that
we talk about this at some point, But this is
a wager that I would love to lay every single
cent I own to my name.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
When's wist?

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (13:09):
Can I not get a better one?

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Like something different than Mario video game?

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Yeah, when's the.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Last time you played a video?

Speaker 5 (13:22):
I'm not going to, but it should be Lee because
it's not right, it's not it's not Lorraina, it's Lee.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
That that has to be on top of.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
That, Brady, when's the lesson you played a video?

Speaker 4 (13:34):
Like decades? Golden?

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Did you heard Lee jump up in there?

Speaker 6 (13:40):
Ye?

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Trona's best said, I think.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
It's very fitting.

Speaker 7 (13:44):
Yeah, Lott Mario for Italian Stallion here?

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Yeah for sure? Okay, I don't think so.

Speaker 8 (13:51):
Lee how are you doing this morn By the way,
the ninety nine club is out for the EA Madden
this year. Josh Allen Lamar Jack in ninety nine. I'm
doing very well, Brady.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
How you doing well?

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Just I feel like every day you never know what
you're going to get with Leada lab I don't know
until I wake up.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
I don't think that's what we do. Know, you know,
you don't know what we're gonna get.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
That is really uh, it's really sound reasoning. I don't
I don't know until I wake up, you know what
I mean. I don't think any of Yeah, I don't
think anybody does. But yeah, so LeVar, you got to
make a call. Trey Henderson does he have a deal
by week? One?

Speaker 3 (14:35):
Said he will? So I go with Quinn on that.
I mean, he's going to sticks picks. I don't.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
I don't know that the deal will be what the
Hitdrison once, but there will be a deal, all right.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Yeah, I would bet it happens in the next week.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Honestly, I'm gonna say I feel like, well, here, I
hope to go, wow, oh gosh.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
You're gonna say a deal. It doesn't get down before
no chance, No the worst.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Now, let me tell you something. Trey Hendrickson lost me
as a supporter based on this move. All right, swallow
the fifty a day.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
Let's break this down. Let's break this down. You were
most irritated with the picture of the road and then
not seeing it through knowing you that really irritated.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
You can't stand it. I can't stand desperate please for
help or pity parties on social media without without real
context added to it. I can't stand it and him
posting that picture on the road like I'm really going
through with it this time. It's like a buddy telling
you he's done with there.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
He doesn't.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
It's over, guys. And then forty eight hours later they're
sharing a cop together. It's like, come on, I'll take
it a step further.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
I feel like as a parent, it looked like a
kid throw a temper tantrum, Like fine, and then you
watch them, all right, they're gonna come back in.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Ten minutes, Like why even let it play out in
the public, Like if you're going to do that, why
why why go to those extents, go to those lengths,
because it just I think it's a bad look. And
it was multiple times this offseason, he was public. He
spoke about what he's lost me as a supporter, and
that means a lot to him because I know that
he was counting on that through.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
I don't think Bengals fans really care that. They've been
pretty hard on us, calling the organization cheap. Which the
proofs of the pudding.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
LaVar you do show a t J. Huschman Zada. I
know that he's got stories about how cheap the Bengals are.
It's not like this stuff is made up.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
No, We've talked about it.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
This is not made up.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Buddy. The best man of my wedding played for them
for four years. Trust me, aluny of stories about the
lunch box lunches they got, all the different things they
had to pay for out of pocket. Oh wait, really
it is a Yeah, it's a cheap organization.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Albert Breer said last week they had to drag be dragged,
kicking and screaming to build a practice bubble Ohio. Like
they just couldn't it, couldn't come to know, can't do it, can't.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
TJ said when when Marvin got there, they he changed
a lot about what they do. You know, in the organization.
They they did It literally was a lunch box organization,
you know, they didn't have that's what for them.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
Yeah, that's why chadow T Singa Chad Johnson ever made
a big deal about how much McDonald's he ate, Right,
that was like a big storyline of how he eat
so much Mickey D's. But it was like, no, it's
because they didn't provide lunch. It was it was almost
the alternatives, you know.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
And this is an NFL franchise who.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
You got to love the fans on the outside, by
the way, who booze more than any other in the NFL. Congratulations,
given their two cents on it.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
That is true.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
They're not cheap.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
Why because the drinks are cheaper at the game, Like
tell me, tell me why because they give you a
good deal when you go into the ballpark.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
By the way. The fact that they've managed to go
to three Super Bowls, I think it's three. The fact
they've managed to go to they haven't won any. That
they've even gotten there with this nickel and dime approach,
you gotta commend very impressive.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Yeah, it's impressive. It's impressed.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Impressive.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
You got to commend him, it's impressive.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Get there.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
He'd be throwing some money around. He'd be trying to
get there, and he can't get there. I can't do it.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
Pressure and sleep on them. But by the way, good
sleep starts with a good mattress. I trust the mattress
from Sleep Experts to find my perfect mattress from the
premium selection guys. And for the great sleep you deserve,
visit matches for him to the best sale of the
year that makes sleep easy.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Wow, screw you, Lee, Yeah, and you doubt it. Just
so you know, Lee just put this intov about.

Speaker 7 (18:45):
No no there, and you doubt it.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
I watched you edit it. I watched you just put
this in there.

Speaker 8 (18:50):
I almost took it away because I wasn't sure if
you'd if you'd hit the post there?

Speaker 4 (18:56):
What what leeps? People actually work the rundown on the show.

Speaker 7 (19:03):
I'm gette.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
I'm gonna defend Lee. I see it.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
I bet you will.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
I mean, I generally do not ever defend him right there.
I might be the first one throwing him under the bus,
but it is in the rundown that I'm looking at.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
I'm just saying, you're welcome, Lee, who I generally let
them tear you up.

Speaker 7 (19:27):
But you know, I don't know.

Speaker 9 (19:28):
I'm on I'm on Lee's side with this one too.
Why because I I also saw it on the paper beforehand,
I didn't, and then we thought about you site, we'll
should move it to another watching Lee.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
I was watching Lee take it off and put it
back on, and he was having all.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Sorts of issues.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Yeah, I'm just shocked.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
I don't defend that because I'm not on that particular
I don't. I don't use that that deal you docs? Yeah, yeah,
I'm just looking at the hard copy of.

Speaker 6 (19:57):
That.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Right.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
You guys are too technologically uh advanced.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
All you need is an email, but you know it's
not too much to ask.

Speaker 5 (20:09):
I don't know, man, it's I'm old. I'm almost fifty.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Speaking of old, my truck ran over like a bunch
of wood on the freeway this morning.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
Oh yeah, Hold, why do you say your truck? You
were driving it? Yeah, you ran over a bunch of wood.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Yeah, but it was around like the turn and I
was in the fast lane and I was stepping on
it going like sixty eight and I just a pile
of wood.

Speaker 7 (20:34):
What was it?

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Fire fast for your truck? Probably that really is fad.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Oh yeah, were you running late? This morning.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
No, say no, just no. It was the same, same
as always. And there was just a pile. There was
a pile of wood laying on the freeway.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
And I'd get around.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
I just didn't see it until the last second. Was like,
and so now I'm like, you know, wondering whether or
not anything got in the tire, and I gotta worry
about that. So hopefully you know tire up. Yeah, not great, no,
but hey well whatever, maybe your tires need a blue shoo.
That's a good point.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
It is.

Yeah, I mean, but you know this is great for Milwaukee.
They'll just get to the postseason and gag one away again.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
I do everything that's probably true.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
And now, would it be nice if the Cubs got to,
you know, at least a wildcard spot, right?

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Sure? Would that that definitely would be nice. But we'll
see how plays.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
As of now, they're projected to still make a wildcard spot.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
They should be fine.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
Yeah, I mean, you know they're not. The division is
not out of their reach. I would also say it's
only two probably right off. If a show To can
bounce back from a rough start in a mad a
matchup in Milwaukee Land of Cheese, and he can go
ahead and put together a nice per four Romans, maybe
the Cubs will get this lead back down to one

(24:03):
and then we're off and running.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
The rest of the year.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
Maybe okay, maybe Now this is something that is developing,
and so for that it is time for our special
report here on the show. This is a special report.
Let's go live to lead to lap for our special
w OUR special w NBA report here for the latest

(24:30):
around that league.

Speaker 8 (24:33):
Lee's right, Jonas live from the Gateway Center in College Park, Georgia,
where the Atlanta Dreamer hosting the Golden State Valkyries.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Last night.

Speaker 8 (24:40):
Golden State Valkyries were able to pull off the win
seventy seven to seventy five, but in the final minute
of game time they did have to go to a
pause because something flew onto the court.

Speaker 7 (24:49):
Take a listen to the game audio and you can see.

Speaker 10 (24:53):
The objects the block right there, and the object comes
that green thing bounces and it goes to the sideline.
We're not exactly where. I'm not sure where it came from,
but to my knowledge, it's still underneath the seat.

Speaker 7 (25:08):
I'm looking right at it. That's right, a green object
flew onto the onto the court.

Speaker 10 (25:15):
I want to pick the object up, yet you got
to go my gosh, okay, no room.

Speaker 8 (25:20):
For yeah, yes, that's there was a lime green sex
toy flying onto the court in the final minute of
game time.

Speaker 7 (25:29):
There the lime green shoe.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
We have to identify what it is, right, yes, Jonas, Yeah,
it's go ahead.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Say you already said it.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Go ahead, I just said it. I'm going to say
three times, really lated. Yeah, it was a a dildo.

Speaker 11 (25:50):
Can you be specific, Jonas?

Speaker 1 (25:52):
Somebody threw a lime green sex object similar to what
they did the Bills games a couple of our few
years back. Uh, on the door at at at the
w NBA game last night, And so, I mean, like,
I think it's pretty reckless, and it also doesn't make
so much sense if you think about it. There's chairs there.

(26:13):
Why would you bring one from home? That doesn't make
any sense.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Let's let's bring in our live our w NBA expert Lorena,
any thoughts comments?

Speaker 9 (26:21):
Hello, Hello, Oh my gosh, it was so great to
see a lime green toy out on the floor tonight,
as I noticed looking at said toy. It does have
a suction cup feature on the back, which is great.
If you take it to a game, you can suction
cut it to your seat and have fun.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
WHOA, what do you think these girls will be using that?

Speaker 3 (26:41):
No?

Speaker 9 (26:41):
But you know how we were talking about how you know,
they're trying to get some new articles and keep their
names out, and Caitlin Clark is not playing right now,
so anything to get them into the media.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
I think this was a plan.

Speaker 9 (26:53):
I do thisase and it's not a metal one, so
you know that they snuck it in.

Speaker 11 (26:57):
In a purse.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
So let's just let's just invest to gate that quickly.
Caitlin Clark is so important to the league that if
she goes down with an injury, they've got wigs and
sex toys that they need to bring out in order
to get people to interested in having this discussed.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
Just so we're all on the up and up here
in case people were, Wow, if there's any data to
these ratings, the riddings have dropped fifty five percent since
she has been out of the WNBA with this injury
was a hamstring I think she's dealing with.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Yeah, The Indiana Fever have been down fifty three percent
for their nationally televised games. The All Star Game alone
was down thirty six percent from last year, so there's
no doubt her absence is killing ratings right now, which
is kind of an interesting flex too for her, only
because you know she didn't wear a T shirt that

(27:50):
all the other girls wore, so.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
You know it does if it does bring up the
question that we brought up when this was happening at
Bill's games, like there is security at the gate? How
you getting this thing in? You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (28:02):
I mean Loraina called it. It wasn't There's no metal to.

Speaker 11 (28:06):
It, pure silicone rubbery.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
They're not looking through bags.

Speaker 9 (28:12):
Even if you like wrapped it in your jacket, right,
you can put your jacket over your arm and put
your jacket on the table and have it go right through.

Speaker 11 (28:18):
I've snuck in multiple things like that.

Speaker 5 (28:20):
Oh gosh, I mean Lee's able to sneak in flask?

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (28:26):
Metal, Yeah, because you got a plastic Do you.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
Want to do you want to tell the joke? You
just sently?

Speaker 8 (28:32):
Well, you know they are the Atlanta Dream. They might
be getting tips from their neighbors. They're getting tips from
the Savannah Bananas on how to make the game a
little more interesting.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
Would the would the Savannah bananas be the tip?

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Oh Jesus, this is just classic.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Tip of the spears.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
I mean imagine like returning that to Lost and Found, Like, hey,
I don't know if somebody's going to eat this later, But.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Hey, how you doing this? Looks like it's yours. Did
you drop this? I think say that to someone, I
mean immediately the first person you take it to, and
you tried to say, hey, did you did you drop this?

Speaker 7 (29:09):
This looks like.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Imagine imagine somebody being like, hey, I got an idea? Yeah,
what something for the game tonight? Oh you want to
sneak in some booze? No, I got a I got
a neon dildo that I'm gonna throw onto the court
at some point during the first half.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
I'm telling you, guys, Lorena is onto something. This is
clout chasing, like the fact that it made the broadcast
and the thing was so bright, like it was a fluorescue.
Oh yeah, growing glowing the dark object and it.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
Made it's also grow in the dark.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Yeah we both. I don't know about all that.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Yeah that's true. Just like you on it. It expands.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
As well.

Speaker 5 (29:56):
But I'm just saying made the broadcast. And this this
is the second time Lorraina said it's clout chasing. Like
first you got a wig that comes off, then you
have a dial though that hits the court, and it's
like these are the headlines that have taken you know,
taken shape for this this particular league, Like you haven't

(30:20):
name an outrageous happening in another sport, and tell me
who was the high score of that game, in fact,
tell me who won the game.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
I'm not mistaken. I think Brittany Hicks was a high score.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
Yeah, okay, good for you. You got too much time
on your hands, bro.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
I'm just that that actually flew over your head. That
was a joke by one Shane Gillis at the SPS,
just like everyone else there at the SPS. You do
know Brittany Hicks was also not there you go, There.

Speaker 5 (30:51):
You go, there you go, there you go exactly to
my point, I went for a a cycled punchline joke
and and I didn't even like it didn't even register.
I'm just saying it's not it's not interesting. I'm sorry.
I think Shaq brought up an interesting point, and I

(31:13):
think that it there could be some validity or there
could be some relevance to what he's saying.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
Lower the rim. Lower the rim like volleyball.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
Girls, so you can make the dildo into the basket.

Speaker 5 (31:28):
Correct or dunk it, you know, shove it in and
shove it into the the you know, into the hole,
you know what I mean. But you might have had
to dump that one. You might have to dump that.
But I just I think, I think, at the end
of the day, lower the rems because the one thing
that's missing from women's basketball is the excitement of people

(31:51):
getting dunked on, and.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
Like, you know, the elements that are are brought to
you by explosive plays. Do we care about that anymore?

Speaker 4 (32:03):
Though, Like look at the look at the NBA game,
Like guys don't get dumped on as much. I mean,
outside of John.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
It's still there, it's still right. But it's just like, sure,
I guess thing is hard.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
I'm not sure. I'm not going to turn on a
w NBA game though, just because the rooms at eight
feet and someone dunks so of the it's not I mean,
no offense. They're not high flyers. They're not Vince Carter
like that. Like when you watch someone who dunked over Shakra,
they elevated so high in the air that was the jury.
It was like they were defying gravity. That's not happening

(32:39):
in the w n B. A Like, I don't care
what they do to try to help bring more viewership.
There's just gonna be an audience that is either you know,
enjoys that level of play in the style of play,
or they're not, like it is what it is. I
think here's the problem is we tend we tend to

(33:00):
we tend to make this more complicated than it needs
to be. We are as fans, we love sport because
we see guys or players you know, out there doing
things that you can't do. Like, that's why you love it,
Like you you are watching other people out there that
can do something only point zero one percent of the

(33:22):
world can do or ever have the opportunity to do.
That's what makes it different. You know, when you watch
a WNBA game, those guys sit on the couch, who
I could go out there and play and look, the
majority of them probably couldn't, But if we're being honest,
there's probably some dudes who probably could so, Like, if
we're being real about it, that's the attraction, that's the

(33:44):
allure to sport is guys competing at a high level
who could do something that you know, everyone else in
the entire planet cannot do. They're the best of the
best in the world. And that's the difference, at least
in my opinion, Like I'm not going to tune in
for something to watch like that. Again, this goes back
to even the Savanna Banana's conversation. I watched them play baseball.
I'm like, this is like, this is like low level

(34:06):
minor league baseball. This isn't good baseball. Like I don't
want to watch grown dudes dance with each other the
whole time in a baseball game.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
I don't get it, and I don't I don't like
people that go, ah, well, you know it's great for
the kids. No, man, this is like that Nickelodeon game
they show every year, Like, no, to show them a
real like an actual game, Like they don't need the
cartoons and all the other stuff to go along with it.
By the way, could you imagine if this was used
as one of the items thrown onto the floor at
the Malice in the Palace, Like you imagine that if.

Speaker 5 (34:36):
You saw them like like Rodar Test is laying on
the table and he gets hit with one of these
rubber chairs and somebody up in the like definitely that
probably is definitely even more offensive than getting what beverage.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
It would have diffused the whole situation because no, people
just they wouldn't want to touch it. They just get
away from it.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
All.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
That's true, But I think you would want to fight
more after that. But I just want to revisit the point.
I get where you're coming from, Q, But I mean,
you gave them smaller balls. They handle smaller balls than
the balls that are handled in the NBA. The NBA
guys they handle bigger balls, clearly, And so if you're

(35:23):
handling smaller balls and you took that into consideration, why
wouldn't you take the height of the rim in consideration. Again,
I don't know that I would be as interested in
watching women's volleyball if the net was as high as
the net is for guys. I just don't think it
would be as exciting because they don't jump as high

(35:47):
as the guys do. And so to see the way
the kills look for women when they're playing volleyball, I
find it to be super exhilarating. It's super exciting to
watch it, and it makes the games fun. So to me,
if if I see a girl cross somebody over, cross them.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
Up and she gets into the lane and she can
go up and dunk the ball, I think it.

Speaker 5 (36:13):
I just think it creates a different level of maybe excitement,
a different angle, a different vantage point of a game
that it's never had. That it's never had that element,
you know. I mean, I would knock until you try it.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
Come on, They've got girls who can dunk though, I
mean they have throughout time. It's just it's never the same,
it's whole, That's what I'm saying. It So well, we're like,
we're like getting excited about them getting a you know,
at a lower hoop, a little bit higher like.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
One would make it different.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
The one person who has lifted up this league and
changed viewership and changed how people feel about it, it's
Kaitlyn Clark. It's because they're three point shooting. I mean,
it's just that, by the way, that's happened for the
NBA too.

Speaker 5 (36:57):
I don't know if it's just it's one of the only
things that you can say is now comparable is the
way Caitlyn Clark.

Speaker 4 (37:02):
Shoots like it's doing which is which is which?

Speaker 3 (37:07):
And they can don't right keep guys.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
But Steph Curry came in and guys are still doing
the dunking that you're talking about. But he was able
to uplift the league at a point two where people
kind of got tired of that. They kind of moved
on to, well, the dude shooting from half court, he's
shooting from the logo like that lifted up the NBA
for a while too. So I'm just I'm not sure,
like what fixed they can do to, you know, gain

(37:30):
more viewership outside of you know, Kaitlyn Clark or more
players who are able to kind of have a you know,
attractive style of play like that. But I don't know.
I mean, yeah, do what everyone, do whatever you want
to do, Just stop throwing something.

Speaker 5 (37:45):
Try something other than throwing glowing the dark, Yeah, glowing
the dark objects that are snuck into I don't even
think it was snuck in there.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
I think it's a plant.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
And it's like a trickle down plant. It's like a
trickle down effect is now you know, you know, to
make up for that, you're like stealing somebody's street cone.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
It's like that.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
It's unfortunate. The whole thing is unfortunate, and I don't
know why you guys have to make them off.

Speaker 5 (38:07):
