Uh we again, we were having technical issues. Lee's melting down.
Uh Lee's Lee is literally melting down here in the studio. Lee,
(03:27):
what's Lee? Are you're right? What's no?
Speaker 3 (03:30):
No?
Speaker 4 (03:30):
I'm not all right.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
He keeps yelling.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
Lorena too many times.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
It's not her fault.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Lee's yelling. He's yelling at everybody. And so, you know,
as soon as we can get everything off and running
here with Brady, we will be ready to go. He's in,
all right, We're in.
Speaker 6 (03:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Oh gosh, Hey Brady walking to the circus.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Oh gosh, how's are things going over there?
Speaker 6 (04:00):
Hey?
Speaker 7 (04:00):
Lee?
Speaker 6 (04:00):
How's that zoom link coming along?
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Don't even ask talk about the zoom right now.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
I just say the word on on on air, Okay,
zoom man. That's That's as close to say that as
you get. What was it so?
Speaker 1 (04:25):
During but during one of the last breaks of Ben's show, Lee,
what were you saying in the studio? You walked in
and you're like, that's so and so Larado. What was
he saying? There was something on the TV that he
was yelling at.
Speaker 7 (04:40):
Yeah, it is your boss right now. This is the
one happy moment of my day.
Speaker 5 (04:45):
I think that was the only.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Time Who's the Wizard of Laws?
Speaker 3 (05:10):
This is the most and coherent segment of radio I've
ever been a part of my entire plea.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Why are you melting down? What happened?
Speaker 7 (05:23):
Because the computer systems have changed operating systems today, today
was the day. Apparently on the fifth of August, they've
locked us out of.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
I guess you would say communal log in.
Speaker 7 (05:39):
So you got and they haven't quite figured out all
the kinks, so I can't print, so.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
Nobody has any hard copies. I'm a very I'm very
much a hard copy guy.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
Big deal. I mean, if only we had a Google
doc to go off of.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Well, thank god we have the Google Talk.
Speaker 8 (05:56):
Thank god we have the do over there, Lee, let's
get the Google doc.
Speaker 7 (06:03):
We have the Google docs, so we're not a double.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
So thankfully we are all working off with the Google doc.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
That's good.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
And I mean there's some other behind the.
Speaker 7 (06:20):
Behind shut up, we have some other behind the scenes things,
behind the scenes something, some other behind the scenes.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Thanks, Lee, tell us more, Lee, Yeah, okay things.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Oh my gosh, you do this to yourself.
Speaker 9 (06:38):
I want you to know that everyone out there who
listens to us, thanks, we give you a hard time.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
Yeah, you do self.
Speaker 9 (06:46):
You're the one that wears the arm with stupid T
shirt and then walks around.
Speaker 6 (06:50):
It's like, well, yeah right.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
Actually, I'm just by myself.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
I'm happy with that.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Thanks, all right, Well he.
Speaker 7 (07:03):
Had to get you, had to get you on two
minutes late. Sorry, that was another thing.
Speaker 6 (07:09):
Snitching that really made a difference late.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
No, it didn't really did.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
It's definitely why he yelled at me though. Yes, from
not happy.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
Well, hey, here's the good news. The Browns have signed
another quarterback. So congratulations, Snoop Puntley. You you're now into
the quarterback room of the Cleveland Browns because apparently hamstrings
are are an issue there in Cleveland. Uh, Kenny Pickett's
got a hammy, Dylan Gabriel's got a handy too. Is
(07:42):
that the yeah?
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (07:45):
So you know, the Browns who started off training camp
with eleven thirty eight quarterbacks are dropping like flies. Snow
Puntley is in the building. And then you got shid
Or Sanders talking yesterday about not wanting his dad at
training camp. Doesn't want the distraction and had this.
Speaker 10 (08:04):
To say, I don't want him coming to see me
right now because I want to get to where I
want to go in for him to see me.
Speaker 6 (08:11):
I don't want him to come and see.
Speaker 10 (08:12):
Me, you know, get a couple of reptions. You know,
he's hearing like a good dad, like, Nah, you can't
be proud of me right now. I got to get
to where I'm going, and I know it's a lot
I got to do to get there. So it's kind
of like, I just want everything that I'm doing is
just like focus on this time. And I don't want
to know distraction because we know out of media, we
know how everybody would take it and take away from
(08:32):
the team just from him being my own dad showing up,
So you know, it's a gift in occurrence.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
At the same time, so there was talking about, you know,
potentially Dion being a camp. I mean, if he just
plays his cards right and just stays there with the
way they're dropping out in Cleveland, he's gonna get some
et pretty cool.
Speaker 9 (08:52):
I mean said he's gonna have to start, whether he
wants to, whether he's he's ready, he's gonna have to
start at this rate. I mean, you've got Joe Flacca,
who's vastly approaching forty I think, so what thirty nine,
and then you've got Kenny Pickett, Dylan Gabriel Hamstrings. The
problem is he's dealing with a shoulder, shoulder swordus or fatigue,
(09:14):
which is one of the reasons why they signed Snoop Huntley,
So he's a part of the equation as to why
they've signed someone else too, just to have a camp
arm and obviously snup Huntley who's been there recently.
Speaker 6 (09:26):
He knows the system, he's you know, played.
Speaker 9 (09:29):
And this is the sort of move you make as
an organization where if you're going to go into the
season and let's just say again, I.
Speaker 6 (09:37):
Like Flacco's number one in the depth chart.
Speaker 9 (09:39):
I've said Flacco all along Pickett, they'll probably I would say,
they'll either release to allow him to go have a
chance to go somewhere else, or they could keep him
as a backup. But I don't think they're gonna get
ri rid of either of the draft picks. You bring
in Huntley now because it gives him a refresher on
the offense and that way in case of anything that
goes wrong dur in the course of the season. With Flacco,
(10:00):
you have a veteran guy who started games, he's played
in the league, he's been in the league a while,
he's a pro bowler, a former pro bowler that knows
the system. So that's more of the thought behind it.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
It's a red flag bottom line, it's a red flag list.
You're gonna you're you're most likely going to deal with
injuries during training camp. But you have five quarterbacks. One
isn't active, but yet he's still a quarterback. So you
got five.
Speaker 9 (10:31):
He's not on the rock, he's.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
There, he's there. I'm just counting it. I'm just counting
how many you know, the thousands that that Jonas is
throwing out there, like you do have Deshaun Watson there.
I mean, even though it doesn't play a part and
in who's going to start? And well does but he's
not on the roster. But you're not talking we're not
talking about an established guy for one. We're not talking
(10:57):
about figuring out rounding out what what the backup is.
They literally do not have a quarterback. That's That's what
that says to me. You're you're you're in training camp
and you literally do not have a quotime. That's what
I'm saying. I don't. I don't feel as though if
(11:19):
that's if that's what you have, Blacko emerges as your starter.
I was thinking that they wanted Picket to be the starter.
And they wanted Flacco to be the insurance policy. If
that's not the case, I mean, there's conflicting conversations about it.
Some say Flacco, some say Picket. I don't know, I thought,
I said, I mean not that that has been a
(11:40):
conversation that I've read and have heard in conversation that
Picket was No, it was more, it was a more
co it was a more coherent conversation then, and it
was actually and it was actually I think I've I
believe I've read it like I believe that I've read
that they're looking at Picket because he's more mobile than Flacco.
(12:03):
He's the more mobile quarterback out of the quarterbacks outside
of Gabriel. So that's what I heard. That's what I thought.
The fact that Flacco is your starter, which I believe
Flacco has the experience and has had the success to
be the starter, but nonetheless he's a journeyman at this point,
and you're going into a season with a journeyman that's
(12:27):
aging as your starter. You don't know what the health
is of what you're projected, either starter or backup is.
You don't know what you're getting from your two draft picks.
I just I think it's a red flag. I think
not having an established quarterback that is either on the
(12:48):
trajectory of being a franchise guy or is a franchise guy,
I think it's a red flag. You cannot win. To me,
you cannot win in this league unless you have an
established quarterback that's doing one of those two, either on
the way to being ones or already being an established
(13:09):
franchise guy.
Speaker 9 (13:12):
Said well, okay, but that being said, he did win
four or five games to finish the season twenty twenty.
Speaker 6 (13:16):
Three and help him get in the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Yeah, I just again, that's it's great to have a
nice story. It's great to have a nice story. It's
because it's Cleveland. He doesn't want to give anything. It
could be that could be very well, the conclusion that
I've come to that is Cleveland. Yeah, that is very true.
Speaker 6 (13:38):
I get that you could have just said that, you
could have led with that.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
You know, there's there are some tremendous there are there
are some tremendous concerns about what's going to take place
with with this team because it's Cleveland.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Yeah, but Gabriel is not going to play in the
preseason game coming up against Carolina on Friday, and I
don't know the status of Kenny Pickett. Flacco's probably not
going to play that much, which means Shador is probably
gonna get as Brady Quinn.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
Brady just but Brady just said it. They were resting
Shador because of his shoulder. Ye, but they were resting him.
Speaker 6 (14:16):
He practiced yesterday, but it's it's still been an issue.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
They've been resting.
Speaker 9 (14:20):
But to Jonas's point, there is a reality of if
picketting and Gabriel not going to play, you know, you
need literally someone to go in there run some plays
just to get through the preseason games. I mean, that's
where we're at right now, because you've got teams who
are making roster decisions to get through the preseason.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
That's not a good sign if it's real flag. But
here's here's a I guess maybe a silver lining. If
it is an opportunity for Schador to do it, you
better forget about that shoulder fatigue and you better get
your you better get it on out there, and you
better get after it. Get it out of the mud.
Like we all said, I get out of getting as good.
(15:01):
You got an opportunity because of circumstances. Circumstance it presents opportunity.
Preparation is is the way you take take advantage of opportunity.
I'm getting out there and I'm going will and I'm
going deal if I'm Shador Sanders, I don't care. I
(15:22):
don't care. I don't give a damn what. I'm going
to be out there and I'm going to be balling.
If that's the situation that I'm in, you gotta get
after it, and you and you apply that pressure. You
get out there and you play well. You show the fans,
you show the media, you show the world that you
can do what it is that people said you could
do coming into the draft. Then now the draft story pops.
(15:46):
It's going to keep popping back up as long as
he makes it relevant. If he does things that are significant,
then the conversation of why did he go so late,
why was his fall so far? It becomes a bigger
conversation and it goes in his favor of how the
conversations will ensue in terms of if he can start
(16:07):
for this team or not. But you don't take advantage
of this opportunity. I don't see there really being any
other ways that he can maybe prove that he should
have an opportunity to possibly get that those starting job right,
that starting role. It's a good chance.
Speaker 6 (16:22):
I don't think the starting role is really in play here.
Speaker 9 (16:25):
I think it's more of just legitimifying himself as a
backup as an option for them.
Speaker 6 (16:30):
But that's why I think it's on the table. I
think no matter how things look in the preseason, it's
gonna be Flacco going into it. Just it just is so.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
I just think because it's such an up in the
air position right now for their team, whether they start
out with Flacco or any other, I think.
Speaker 6 (16:49):
They're pretty set up like it was gonna start.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
I don't trust it. I don't trust understand. Maybe I
understand maybe the decision will be Flacco. But if even
if that's again I don't care which one it is,
it's not. I just don't feel like it's a stable deal.
I don't feel like it's stable. Anything could happen, and
(17:11):
if it's going to happen, it's going to happen with
a journeyman quarterback and a quarterback that hasn't been able
to get get fully launched in his career as a quarterback.
A lot of question marks around Pickett, and for what
it's worth, there probably will be a lot of question marks.
That's where Flacco is in his career, on on how
much he can do. He could be in and out.
(17:34):
Poor play could be an injury. I don't I don't know.
I just don't.
Speaker 6 (17:37):
Trust it pretty well. I don't trust its prey consistent.
I don't trust you I trust it.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
You know, it's kind of funny about from Ohio. You know,
it's kind of funny about this whole conversation is that
all of this is going to be irrelevant because they've
got two draft picks in the first round next year
and they're probably taking a quarterback again. So like, whoever
this is, this just feels like a stop gap year
unless ye unless Gabriel or should or Sanders light it
(18:07):
up and they go all of a sudden, we've got
a guy like it just doesn't feel like long term Flacco,
you know, for this year yet well obviously not Kenny Pickett.
I mean, who knows he could get dealt before the season.
I mean that you know that that's a possibility. I
just it feels like we're just going to be back
talking about the Browns taking in another quarterback next.
Speaker 6 (18:26):
Year after they took You have to look the picket
situation this way.
Speaker 9 (18:29):
They traded for him, so if they were really you know,
if they're gonna utilize him or I guess I just
put it this way, he would have had to get
off to a fast start where it became very apparent
he was going to be the guy for them not
to roll with a guy who's been there, who's won there,
who's got a world of experience, has won a Super Bowl.
And if you're Kevin Stefanski at this point, you know
(18:51):
that's what you're looking for. You just want to win
football games, like you're tired of dealing with the circus
of different quarterbacks. And Flacco will bring a level of consistency,
a level of professionalism that you don't have to be
concerned about with everyone else.
Speaker 6 (19:06):
It's just it's such and especially.
Speaker 9 (19:08):
Just doing a game with him last year and talking
to the Colts organization and the difference just between Anthony
Richardson and Joe Flacco and the level of just this
is just how things are run. You know what to expect,
you know what you're going to get. Now, can Flaco?
Could he run and make the special players. Anthony Richardson
could no, but there are elements to the game on
(19:29):
third down, moving the ball down the field, where Shane
Stiken had a much better idea of, you know, staying
third manageable, being able to convert on third down, the
ball going to where it needs to go to, the
checks and everything else. And that was a guy who
you know, got picked up last year and was a
part of that team just in one year's time. So again,
(19:51):
I kind of go back to how important it is
for a lot of these coaches, especially when their head
coach is an offensive mind to head coach, and something
that it's hard for people to understand how side of
that is, how hard it is to bring guys.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
Up to speed on an offense.
Speaker 9 (20:05):
And once you've had a guy who's been in the
system who knows it and can execute it, there's a
huge sense of relief and there's a big time weight
that's taking off the shoulders of the coaching staff when
they can have a guy who they trust out there
running the system. And right now it's only Flacco, but
you just brought in and signed a guy Huntley who
(20:27):
knows that a little bit too, which helps at least
giving you that again, camp arm guy who they could
bring back during the course of the season. But that's
why I keep harping on the fact that there will
be a significant advantage for Flacco starting. I think it's
already done and he will start because there's nothing that's
going to happen between now outside of injury. There's nothing
that's gonna happen between now and then now on the
(20:48):
start of the season that's going to change. That doesn't
matter what it looks like in the preseason. And by
the way, the Cleveland Browns fan base remembers, that's cool and.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
The season has even started yet, they're cool.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
You guys are pretty disrespectful to Joe Flacco talking about
his mobility. Guy.
Speaker 9 (21:06):
Literally, you guys, you never said that that's a island.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
I mean the guy guy live on that island. The
guy ran out of his down joy trying to scramble
and make a play years ago.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
I literally broke his many years ago.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
Yeah, okay, yeah, so what it was a do you
think can do the same thing right now?
Speaker 6 (21:25):
Hey, guys, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
Your thoughts.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Malfunction malfunction, system analysis hibernation hibernation malfunction.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Just say uh there.
Speaker 6 (21:53):
Passing out at some point during the show, pretty high.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
It looks like he's got to upright him to go
along with the down or that that he had going on.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
I mean, I don't know, Lee, what is this computer
in front?
Speaker 3 (22:06):
It just says no Internet?
Speaker 7 (22:07):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I put that in front of you,
so you know, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
There's no internet.
Speaker 7 (22:23):
The weird thing is is I look at you guys,
and there's a big reflection of a cthulhu, which I
know is weird to say. Uh yeah, Londa Lorena has
a big stuff.
Speaker 5 (22:35):
He calls my big squid looking thing over here.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (22:38):
And all I can see when I look at you
guys is a highlighted cthul.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
What is a cthulhu? Is A is A a mixed drink?
Speaker 4 (22:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (22:48):
Sometimes if you're on Catalina Island it is uh?
Speaker 8 (22:51):
It is a uh is a fictional character, a godlike
beast from the sea.
Speaker 7 (23:06):
Anyway, Lorena has a humungous stuffy that I can't I
can't see past.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
Anyway. I'm having a I'm having a bad day.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
No you don't say.
Speaker 6 (23:25):
You let me take a wild guess.
Speaker 9 (23:27):
Did your good day yesterday or good night last night,
play a factor into uh today?
Speaker 6 (23:34):
What do you think.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
It could have been? Yeah, Brady, I can see you now.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Oh god, man, can I get a cthulhu on the rocks?
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Please?
Speaker 4 (23:43):
A man, it's usually a greenre.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
You're breathing of bringing it all over me? He started.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
Snorts. Take us the break the laugh.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Yeah, when he does the Michael Jackson lab backed off
every box when he does that, Michael Jacksons not my fault.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
Fried fried chicken. Oh god, brid chicken.

the tire Rack play of the day.

hend to left field.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
Dumingos goes back.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
Watch us with the rest of us has Josh Young
has just walked off the New York Yankees.
Speaker 1 (26:05):

eight to five. Rangers Radio Network on the call. That's
your tire Iraq play of the day. For over forty years,

(26:28):
way tire buying should be. Speaking of quarterback situations, we
are going to get to see for the first time
in a long time, JJ McCarthy get some burn time
coming up this weekend with the Minnesota Vikings in their
preseason game, and Kevin O'Connell, the head coach of the
Minnesota Vikings, was talking with the media yesterday just explaining
(26:53):
the decision of JJ McCarthy getting a chance to be
out there with his teammates there in Minnesota. Let's take
listen to KOC.
Speaker 6 (27:02):
JJ on Saturday.
Speaker 12 (27:03):
Kevin, Yeah, we've got.
Speaker 6 (27:05):
That plan in place.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
I have not talked to him about it.
Speaker 12 (27:08):
We're so day to day right now, so I'll update
him on that plan first and then let you guys know.
But yeah, I do plan on playing JJ Saturday, which
I think we've kind of talked about before.
Speaker 11 (27:21):
Is that us building if we're playing the second or
third game, or would probably be just one game and
then he won't play.
Speaker 12 (27:28):
Yeah, yeah, I think you'd love to play him, you know,
as much as possible. But I think with those two
days of joint practice, the guys that you know, the
type of repetition that they got, the other guys on
the offense will get. From a physicality and workload standpoint,
we'll more than likely use those two days as our
real days. Obviously subject to change based upon how those
(27:48):
practices go, how we feel coming out of those, If
we need to get a little bit more work, we will,
and then we'll assess that final preseason game when it comes.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
So that is the plan in place from Kevin ok
And when it comes to JJ McCarthy and the preseason
opener against the Houston Texans, he's a rookie.
Speaker 9 (28:06):
Yeah, this isn't like a revelation. You need to see
what you've got in him. I mean, he didn't really
didn't play last year, So this is what we got.
You know you're going in the season. There's a lot
of hype, a lot of high expectations based on things
coming out of training camp. That's great, but at the
end of the day, we have no clue what this
(28:28):
team's going to look like. We know they've been able
to win despite different circumstances, but this is one of
the storylines we had to follow.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
This is one of the.
Speaker 9 (28:36):
Biggest I would say question marks. It's probably the best
way to put where they're at right now. And I
know there are a lot of people who feel confident
JJ McCarthy. We haven't seen him do anything at this
level yet, So yeah, he needs to play. He needs
to be able to ramp up to be able to
get to that game speed come week one of the
regular season, when the games actually matter.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
They have a lot riding on him and a lot,
you know, a lot of things that I guess My
feeling on is, I guess pretty consistent with a lot
of people's is that he doesn't have to be a
world beater for this Minnesota Vikings team to be successful.
You know, they have balance on their offense, they have
(29:23):
a ton of talent and so and taking I guess
taking in the information of what JJ McCarthy is going
to be. I guess the idea of seeing what you
do have in a game rep does matter. But I
just got to say, I've been kind of confused on
how these teams are approaching their preseasons. To say that
(29:47):
they wouldn't use JJ McCarthy that much in preseason games
wouldn't be shocking to me at this point. Like it's
kind of like whatever it is I've come to expect
in terms of how how these coaches view preseason, how
they view the health of their players, I wouldn't be
shocked if they didn't play them very much, even not
(30:08):
having known what you know, knowing what he's able or
capable of doing. But I think it is necessary. I
think it certainly serves the purpose to be able to
give your team, you know, a little bit of confidence
and the fact that you know he can be that
guy in a game situation, but also give your fans
(30:29):
the opportunity to fill that as well. So I mean,
but I would not be surprised if he doesn't play much.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
I mean, last time he played was last preseason opener,
and then afterwards he you know, that's when he just
you know, felt the knee pain, and that was it, Like,
why wouldn't you take these opportunities in the preseason to
you know, get the rust and and all that sorted
out and then be more ready to go for the
regular season. I mean, it's just you know, they they feel,
(31:00):
and all the reports on it is they feel like
they've got a championship window and they're going to go
in this direction with JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 6 (31:07):
Wait, who's they, Well, what kind of championship?
Speaker 3 (31:09):
Who are they? Like a three year report?
Speaker 6 (31:14):
We're thrown around that a lot. Yeah, I've read somewhere
as reports like grown.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
I mean I've seen that. I think it was Albert
Brear had mentioned it. I think maybe reciving.
Speaker 6 (31:25):
We could asked Breer is he coming on this week?
Speaker 1 (31:27):
I had mentioned it. I think that was the in
one of his I think somebody reached out to him
in his mail bag and he'd responded and said, the
reason that by this direction is because they feel like
they've got a championship window here and so that's why
they're going to roll with J.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
J McCarthy.
Speaker 9 (31:43):
What would like what's happened in recent history that would
make us think the Vikings have a championship window, like,
I assume that they're referring to a super Bowl championship, right, No, yeah,
of course, I mean because the last time they were
in a conference championship game that was eight years ago,
and that was with case Keenum. So even with Kirk Cousins,
(32:03):
even with Sam Darnold everything, they have been bounced at
best by the divisional round where they got there with
Cousins after what Saints fan Sants fans would call a
push off that led to the Vikings getting that win
in New Orleans.
Speaker 6 (32:18):
They've been one and.
Speaker 9 (32:19):
Three in the playoffs since, Like, this is a team
that's probably a playoff team in the NFC if you
looked at them in comparison to the AFC. I don't
know that they're making the playoffs. Oh god no, So
I'm not sure what championship window looks like. I think
they're intriguing. I think they're a really good team, and
(32:39):
I think they can make the playoffs. I don't know
much more outside of that, because it feels like once
they get in the playoffs they can get buzz side
by a team like the L. A.
Speaker 6 (32:48):
Rams.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
I think there's possibilities there. They have a ton of talent,
but can you know, can JJ McCarthy be that guy
that that is able to you know, man that position
a quarterback again, I think that the confidence that they
have coming off of the fact that they were able
to do it with Sam Darnold in one year's time,
(33:13):
I think there's a lot of confidence in what it
is that they bring to the table. So in the
NFC is going to be the division that if you're
going to have a chance to kind of maybe you know,
have a strong season or have a decent season and
still have that opportunity, that open window to be able
to do something in the playoffs. It is on the
(33:35):
NFC side. I look at the Philadelphia Eagles and I
say that that is the only team that I am
one hundred percent confident that they're going to be a really,
really good team. And I look at some of the
other teams. Can can can Washington be the team they
(33:55):
were a year ago if things don't turn out the
way they need it to turn out. For Terry McLaurin,
I don't.
Speaker 6 (34:00):
Think it's San Fran not one of those teams.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
I told you I'm not high on San Fran. Yeah,
I'm not. I have not been high on San fran
and I'm not I'm not going into this season high
on Sam Fran.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
I know what you guys are doing?
Speaker 3 (34:11):
What are we? What am I? I mean, I'll stand
on it. What what am I doing?
Speaker 1 (34:15):
You guys are trying to get me to release my
power rankings? Oh god, and I'm not ready yet? Oh
so sorry?
Speaker 2 (34:21):
What?
Speaker 3 (34:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (34:21):
Yeah, Brady's a big fan of the my power rankings.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Yeah, of course who doesn't. Why are you powerk Why
wouldn't I?
Speaker 6 (34:28):
I guess are everyone's got power.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
I'm a respected broadcast professional.
Speaker 6 (34:32):
Why wouldn't I have power rankings? I guess that's true.
Everyone's got power rankings.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
Lee probably has his Booze power ranking beyond beyond Philly
and and maybe San Francisco. I mean, I wouldn't mind
borrowing a couple of teams from the AFC who don't
qualify for the top seven and throw them over.
Speaker 6 (34:51):
In the NFC.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Please, A man.
Speaker 9 (34:53):
I've told you before, no one wants to have this conversation.
The playoff format for the NFL, and everyone's.
Speaker 6 (34:59):
Well, what are we going to do about divisions? What
do you want the best teams to play in the
playoffs or not? Because it sucks.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
It's awful.
Speaker 6 (35:08):
It's awful kind of I get it. Philly won last year,
and give them credit.
Speaker 9 (35:13):
They are they are one of those teams that we'd
be like, no, they'd be a part of it, like
they they make it, they'd be a part of it.
Speaker 6 (35:19):
The NFL as they.
Speaker 9 (35:20):
Continue to keep building up their viewership, building up ways
and make it more intriguing, I mean, they should really.
Speaker 6 (35:27):
Look at allowing you know, only the top.
Speaker 9 (35:32):
Top teams to make the playoffs. Meaning if you've got
a bunch of stinkers in the NFC, like we don't
want to see them, like we don't want to see
someone and this is Look, I'm just throwing this South there.
I know the NFC South has struggled, but you know,
and look, Tampa could be one of those team this year.
Speaker 6 (35:50):
Champa could be could be a good team.
Speaker 9 (35:53):
But I'm saying there's years where you've got those like
whole hum crappy you know, division winners that get in.
You're going there was a wildcard team that won double
digit games that didn't make it, and they're in the AFC.
Speaker 6 (36:05):
They're on the other side. I just I really do feel.
Speaker 9 (36:08):
Like the NFL should look at the playoff formatting, and
we've talked about the whole you know, not giving just
because you're a division winner a home game and instead
giving a team like the Vikings last year who won
fourteen games, giving them an opportunity to host a team
when they earned it in the regular season. But I
would also look at that saying, well, if only you
know four teams could make it out of the NFC,
(36:31):
that's all the make it, that's all the make it.
And you allow the AFC to be better represented because
I don't know, maybe they should be.
Speaker 6 (36:39):
It's a better conference. By and large, Navigating the AFC
to get to a super Bowl is a much more
difficult task than the NFC. I'm sorry.
Speaker 9 (36:48):
And people can refute that or argue that all you want,
but go have another one with lead.
Speaker 1 (37:02):

Hi, guys, you know I'm obsessed with these relationships with
celebrities and sports people. So as we last heard, you know,
Cardi B's BBL stank, right, that's why her and Steffan
Digs broke up. Well, it turns out they're busting these rumors.
She posted a picture this past weekend and Stefan was
all up in it.
Speaker 5 (39:24):
He even put sniff's.
Speaker 13 (39:26):
BBL like actual like like like he's sniffing her BBL
and she goes, oh, that's how I got you stuck
with like oh face Right, So they're still flirting.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
They're totally still so confused.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
Either your BBL stinks or it doesn't.
Speaker 13 (39:46):
See So I'm curious where this rumor even started and
why they didn't nip it in the butt to begin with.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
Nip it in the butt, nip it in the BBL.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
I don't know. Well, you were the one that tried
to explain why that would be have it opened right.
Speaker 5 (40:02):
It is true. It is Those claims are not false.
Speaker 13 (40:04):
But Cardi B also said, I used to be a stripper,
so you got to make sure it smells real good.
Speaker 5 (40:10):
That's what she said.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
Okay, you don't have.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
To make sure it smells it would be to your advantage.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
Is she going to be in a robber Crafts booth
this year?
Speaker 5 (40:19):
I hope we see a lot of her tang all day.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
Yeah. Interesting, y'all saw Nicki Minaj was going after dad's bright.
Speaker 5 (40:30):
Oh my gosh, they're all getting.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Smoke from her.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
He was beating up or his mama.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
Dan Brady said that to me, Oh no, oh no,
