I don't know, not yet.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Pay attention, Yeah, but it could be. You gotta pay attention.
Is it? Is it delivery Wednesdays or Tuesdays? Wednesday? Oh? Yeah,

Speaker 5 (01:42):
I'm on my dad's Couchy kind of depends day, isn't
it kind of depends that, doesn't it?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah? It does.

Speaker 6 (01:48):
Aren't they all delivery Wednesdays?

Speaker 3 (01:50):
In the end, it's going to be a show. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:56):
That was my first head banging in a while. My
hair's gotten finally long again, so feels good.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Yeah, Lee, Did you sleep in your bed last night?
Or did you sleep on your couch? Or did you
sleep on Carol Mom's couch?

Speaker 6 (02:13):
It was a mixed match.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
It was the old man's couch and then my bed,
so little split time.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
What's the difference between Carol Mom and your dad's couch?

Speaker 6 (02:22):
She's dad, Caro is long gone, God bless all right?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
All right? What's your mom's name?

Speaker 6 (02:28):
My mom's name is lady.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Lady, So ladies lady's couch. You were on ladies couch.

Speaker 6 (02:35):
Ladies out of town ladies in Hawaii this week?

Speaker 3 (02:39):
So did y'all like, what do you mean you did both?

Speaker 6 (02:43):
I was I was hanging out with the old man.

Speaker 7 (02:45):
I've been keeping him company because ladies out of town
and Hawaii for vacation with the girls, and so I'm
hanging out with the old man. So I was kicking
it with him, watching some movies, sleeping on the couch,
and then I woke up and was like, I need
to go home.

Speaker 6 (02:56):
I'm getting out of here.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
So you did it by choice, not by not by demand.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Okay, so yeah you were good. You were welcomed home
kindly when you got home.

Speaker 6 (03:08):
That is correct. Ye, everything's good at on the old
home front.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Quiet, it's quiet in the Western Front's right. You've been
drinking ly. I wish no I can tell what stop
you're stumblingly? I like that registration, all right, you can
set up the show now, Jones, I know what time.

(03:33):
And I'm not going to get frustrated with Lee today.
I had nothing to say. I got all the information
on the you've.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Been been drinking registration.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
You were serving. Can you please stand over here, sir.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I told you if anybody wants to pony up and
get it, get a breathalyzer test for the show. I
think that would be fun for everybody involved. I mean,
just see what we got.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
That's a good idea.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
That's crazy. That would be interesting. See how many times
he pops hot or blows hot. Yeah, I gotta get
my knee drained. Guys, Oh no, I know, man. I
did this march on the soccer game. I stood the
whole game. I've been walking around campus. I spoke to

(04:25):
to Penn State sports staff yesterday yesterday, Yeah, yesterday, day
before Monday, Monday. Then well that was Monday yesterday. Yeah,
I've been doing a lot of walking, and I realized
this morning when I pushed my quad, my VMO and
all that stuff, it is super super jelly field. I'm

(04:50):
gonna have to go find an emergency room and get
my knee drained. Go figure out.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
I saw your knees the other day when you showed
me it was something you like working out.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Right, No, that would not have been me. That would
have been with you, because I.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
Mean they're coming about you know, the legs.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Maybe there's no way that showed you my legs.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Five hour energy.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Oh yeah, said that's right, that's right, that's right. And
you said do the legs if you recall, yeah, do
a little my legs are you said, dude, do your
legs legs.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
I was like, you need two more legs, so this
is a chronic issue for you or or what's happening?

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, my my left.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Because those things are so skinny, Like I like, what
does it look swollow up?

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Oh it's swollen. It just looks.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
I did more legs, it would it would help it
or hurt it worse.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
I don't think it would do anything because my legs
are just my legs. They've always been little. I've gotten
accused of being a wheelchair football player at times, like
there have been a lot of very cruel and mean
jokes made about how little my legs are.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Yeah, I'm not trying to do that this morning either.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
I'm just curious. Well, thank you. I just feel like
right now.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Well, it does feel like they've been neglected over the year.
Is like, if you're trying to blame really messed up
you taking the women's soccer team the.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Field Jonas, do you see what he's doing? What he's doing.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
I'm just saying I feel like that's at around place
to place like Jonas does.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
I wouldn't need legs, but I do need my legs.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
I don't think you need to blame women's soccer players
for your knees.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
I need some bat wings, is what I need. So
I need to get around better. But hey, you know,
it is what it is. Something. Now the bigger my
belly gets the worst. It looks because I have little legs.
I don't have Yes, I don't have legs. I don't

(06:56):
have legs to offset my belly. So it's like it's
just the it's the word. And now I haven't been
working out, so my arms get puny. At least I
could have like big arms, big belly, little legs. I
got little arms, big belly, little legs, so I look
like the captain from that Damn. My arms aren't short.

(07:18):
And t rexes have big legs, by the way, like
they have little arms. Lorena, let's just stay out of it.
Just stay out of this. Gonna try to call me
a dinosaur? Like what anyway t rex could be considered
Trey Hendrickson, how about yeah there you got that shit

(07:40):
it you get it?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
You know Rex and and the words of p Rex
Pete Prisco.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Yeah, they all show all show up one away away.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
What I tell you boys, show well, he was already there,
he was, he was already there. So is Terry McLaurin.
They were both there. They were going to show up,
but we don't know what they weren't.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
But yeah, the Trey Hendrickson details are as such, not
an extension, but he does get a little bit of
a bump. Trey Hendrickson gets a bump on this year
of fourteen million dollars that's going to push him to
the thirty million dollar range on the season. He's still
set to become an unrestricted free agent after the year,

(08:28):
but at least he does get that extra fourteen Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
He basically got them to pay fourteen million more, which
is a long departure from his productivity the past couple
of years and getting him close to some of those
other defensive players. I mean, remember TJ. Watt, Miles Garrett.
Those guys are in the ballpark at forty one to
forty million per year average annual value. So if you
thought that this is what is holding up the Micah Parsons,

(08:54):
you know contract, it's not like this is nowhere even
close to where Parsons is going to be. The Parsons
Jerry Jones contracts being held up purely by Jerry Jones
because that's how he does business. That's how he does things.
So this is a if you're looking at Trey Hendrickson
and his agent, I don't know what their expectations were

(09:15):
for a deal or a contract, but this has to
be a huge disappointment. And I'm sure look there, I'm
sure there's Bengals fans who wo be out there and
be like, see the kid, pay them all. They got
it all done. So yeah, you're right, they got it
all done. But this is kicking the road. He'll they'll
you know, go their separate ways after this season, which

(09:36):
is unfortunate because I think Trey Hendrickson still has a
lot of good football left in him. But for the Bengals,
the Redding's kind of already on the wall. They drafted
Schmart Stewart, they have He've got his replacement in house.
This is probably best for them to allow schmar Stewart
to come along as an edge rusher, given how long
it took them to do a greater terms. And for
Trey Hendrickson, he gets a pay bump, gets tough out

(09:59):
there and play for year than proved hopefully maybe to
someone else that they can actually pay him, you know,
like other teams out there. But I asked, you know,
Lee for some sound. This was actually earlier, I think
either Friday last week or Monday. But I'm not sure
what Lee's doing right now, So sure.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Get there trying to sober up.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Not sure, I'm not sure that's the you know, maybe
send over the specific sound because I don't see Lee
anywhere inside.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Where is Lee?

Speaker 6 (10:28):
I think he's making a sound right now.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
Actually is that sound a fart or is he actually
doing work?

Speaker 3 (10:35):
He's making a sound?

Speaker 1 (10:36):
He was he was just here, he was.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Gone.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Yeah, he's in another studio, which makes sense if the
show's in the studio.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
I am one of those guys.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
Don't get you the way, have things ready, getting another studio.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
My first message to you guys in the text message
chain was now Jerry will move to get Mica done.
I am one of those guys that think that, whether
right or wrong, I think that Jerry Jones does not
did not want to be coupled in or boxed in
by another guy at the same position getting a deal done.

(11:13):
I think that plays a part in it. How big
of a part, I don't know. I still felt like it.
You know, this is a personal thing between him and
Mike's agent. How true that is, I don't know. I
do think that the fundamental thought that he does it
when he wants to do it, and that's when he
does it. That's probably that that probably is the end

(11:35):
result of it all. But I will say this was
one of the most underwhelming conclusions to a I'm waiting
for my contract situation. You know, the fact that Hendrickson
is such the same age as TJ. Watt, and TJ
Watt gets rewarded. Now, granted, TJ. Watt is a Pittsburgh Steeler,

(12:00):
And I'll come back to that and say, I do
not believe that you can say Tree Hendrickson is a
Cincinnati Bengal even though the production says he's the man
for the Cincinnati Bengals, He's just not a draft guy
for them. And it just, you know, maybe they looked
at it more so as we have a stop gap

(12:21):
for now that we're not gonna want to pay and
for what it's worth. You know. The information that that
Q disseminated the other day kind of drives home the
point maybe it doesn't even matter if you're a Cincinnati Bengal,
because even if they're putting you in the ring of fame,
you know they're not going to pay for your flight,
that they're not going to put you up, and they're

(12:42):
not going to take care of you. So what the
hell does it matter to be a great for the
Cincinnati Bengals anyway, To all you fans out there, your your,
your your, your franchise, it is cheap. There's there's no
way around it. You could call it what you want
to call it. You can make the excuses you want
to make. But I find that to be very, very

(13:06):
very telling that at some point, what this says to
me is that when when your boy comes back, when
Joe Burrow comes back and is inducted into the Ring
of Fame, they don't even plan on paying for his
trip or putting him up to receive his award. I
gotta ask TJ, because I know TJ got into the

(13:29):
Ring of Fame or something. He was honored by the
Cincinnati Bengals at one time. I got to ask him
was his expenses covered? And if they were, I got
to understand why was boomers a Siasin singled out to
be the one that has to cover his charges to
be a feature attraction for the Bengals team. Anyway, I digress.

(13:52):
I just think this is you know, super underwhelding Man.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
You're on a great track, because that was a sound
I was hoping to pull from and just and again.
And here's the nuance of the conversation. And this is
what Bengals fans would say in defense of their organization
is that if we can get a player like Trey
Hendrickson to come play for us for eleven million less
next year than what TJ. Watt's making, then kudos to

(14:18):
our owner and to our front office because we're getting
a very productive, great player at value. And a lot
of people took issue with me saying, you know, comparing
them to the Browns, where the Browns will throw money
at pretty much everyone, or Miles Garrett for example, who's
making ten million more, and they'll say, well, you know,
compared to that, what they're missing on guys. You're missing

(14:38):
the point then, because the Browns at some point will
be able to turn the corner. If Jimmy Hassel's got
deep enough pockets to keep this thing going, Eventually they'll
find a quarterback. Eventually they'll have a roster that's built
on a round them. And then we're obtain that talent
This is an example of the Bengals organization that great.
They get to keep Trey Hendrickson for one year, then

(14:59):
he moves on well Schamar Stewart Biale to replace his productivity.
We don't know, He's gonna have a nice year to
learn and grow and you know, even play with Trey Hendrickson.
We'll see where things go from there. But who knows
what happens down the road with t Higgins or another.
And you wonder, like, are they truly willing to spend
the money in this window of time with Joe Burrow

(15:20):
to go win a Super Bowl? Because it does take cash,
It takes money, It takes the ownership willing to spend
a lot of dough on a roster with signing bonuses
over just the salary and not having to get in
these disputes every off season. So it's of a distraction
for your team. You know, who never has distractions in

(15:41):
their contract negotiations. The Philadelphia Eagles just so happened to
win the Super Bowl just so happens they have the
best roster probably in the NFL. So how about that
for the Bengals fans that think every time we make
a reference to them, being cheap. We use a team
that's not cheap, in fact, just traded to have not
only what they I believe to be a good number

(16:02):
two in Tanner McKee, who had a great preseason in
training camp, but also for Sam Howe, because Howie Rosman
seems to look at his roster and say, you know,
Jalen Hursts just won us a super Bowl, but God
forbid anything happens to him. We've seen this before here
in Philly, and we had a guy named Nick Foles
who win us a super Bowl. So let's have Tanner McKee,
Let's have Sam how Let's have any guy at any

(16:23):
position we think we need to have in order to
stockpile our roster to be able to go win a
super Bowl because injuries are going to happen. It's a
seventeen game season now, and then should it'll be eighteen games.
There's just different styles of ownership, and I hate to
admit it to you guys, but there's a right way
and wrong way of doing things. And I'm not saying that.
You know, they ended up paying him, you know, extra

(16:45):
fourteen million. Some people were like, hey, he's under contract anyway,
they should have paid him anything well, then you can
side with you know, you know, a billionaire owner. I'm
gonna side with the player. I think Trey Hendrickson has
proved his party should have got paid even more. But
I do I would love to hear the sound of boomerisisin.
If Lee's alive at this.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Point, we'd be for the love of God, we do
have that.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
We've vamped as long as we can pay. LeVar brought
it up. He did his part. I'm trying my best
to get you there late.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Lee.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
Are you alive?

Speaker 7 (17:15):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Lee? Oh gosh, m.

Speaker 6 (17:18):
M No, he's here, He's just not here.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
By looking for the sound, we got the sound.

Speaker 8 (17:25):

Speaker 6 (17:41):

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Usually when people say a block of rooms, it's like
a wedding thing and you have to go on there
and say, I'm part of this party.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
But this is why he's this is why they sent it.

Speaker 8 (17:54):

(18:17):

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Thank you? And who Dai? Who day? Who?

Speaker 6 (18:22):
Who they think they are?

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Maybe you pay for your own a cell room.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
That's what I would say.

Speaker 8 (18:26):
You think I'm an elitist.

Speaker 6 (18:28):
If I say no to that, I mean look.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
For that to even be a conversation from Boomer assiasin
Boomer as Sizin like that is so damning in so
many different ways. If you ask me, I don't know.
You say side with the player versus side with with

(18:53):
the organization? Well, I side with super Bowls? Like how
many Super Bowls do they have? And say, see, oh, okay,
something they they ain't doing something right. I'm sorry, something
is not being done correctly because count how many count
how many rings the organization has, but count how many

(19:14):
amazing football players they've had through the years. That's all
I say.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
I mean, listen, I think, uh, I think it was
kind of them to offer that discounted rate. I mean,
I don't know why we have to complain about it. Right,
Let's say, you know this is I mean, that's how
you celebrate a legend.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
You know, you offer them a.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Discounted rate if they want to come in and be
truly appreciated for all their work there within the organization way.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
TJ is not in the ring of honor. He most
likely was going to see Chad Johnson, who did get inducted.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
He got a jacket whatever it was. Now it may
not be a ring of honor, but it's something maybe
greatest Cincinnati Bengal or something he got they got. He
got a jacket. They presented them with jackets. I don't
I don't know what the honor is because I really
don't don't care about the Cincinnati Bengals. But but it
was some type of an honor. I do. I do

(20:05):
recall seeing it, you know, him and who else was there?
I don't even remember. I think maybe Corey Dillon was there.
Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Diana Rossini did report of the Athletic that Trey Hendrickson
the Bengals had offered him a three year, ninety five
million dollar deal, but that they rejected it because there
was no guaranteed money past the first year. So you know,
I don't know what that does for anybody, but that's
sort of where things are at with Trey Hendrickson. I mean, hey,

(20:36):
I'm with LeVar. I was expecting him to really dig
his feet in and stand his ground, and then ultimately
it was like, here's an extra fourteen million dollars, we'll.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
See you inside.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Set up, shut up and play. Yeah, all right, Oh wait,
this is a white player. Never mind, I can't use
that one. Damn what a let's see take your money
and play. How about is that better? And it always
seems to be in Ohio when that happens. I mean,
it was your door, and it was Cleveland, like with

(21:07):
or not Cleveland, but it was Lebron James. So there
you go. It's it's kind of a consistent theme for
for your hometown, Brady. You know, shut up and play.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Well.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
First off, Cincinnati's not my hometown, all right. I do
not claim Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
Your home state, your home state, my bad.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
But you've got very contrasting you know, parts of the
state like Cleveland. Since that is true, very different clubs,
is best different?

Speaker 3 (21:33):
That's fair, that's fair.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
That'd be like comparing Philly to Pittsburgh.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
Pittsburgh one and they are so not the same.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
And there you go, so not there you go Cleveland.
Cleveland fans would not appreciate.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
We don't claim each other. Yeah, that's fair, all right,
I rock with that. That's that. I rock with that.
But Cleveland was where, you know, the whole thing with
Lebron went down though Cleveland.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
We'll rock with this.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
The owner wasn't the owner caught up in all that
that stuff going?

Speaker 9 (22:05):
Yeah, Dan Gilbert, Yeah, Gilbert caught up in what, I
don't know, the conversations around Lebron. And there was never
really a contract dispute.

Speaker 5 (22:16):
It was more of again, like was he going to
do what he needed to do to build out around him?
And I think that was some of the frustration of
you know, that era of basketball where the Big three
became Okay, you know, so you went down to Miami,
won a couple of sampionships, got experience.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
You know that. Well, yeah he did do that.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
Well, yeah, it could have been worded better. I think
we can all agree on.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
That, right, Jonathan. Yeah, it could have been handled.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Yeah, I think he could have done a better job.

Jon knocks with you here and right now it is
time for the tire rac play of the day, the three.

Speaker 12 (24:59):
To other with a Cal swinging a well, they ball
deep the left field, head into the upper deck. State
fair up perdec goodbuye baseball not for fifteen for Cal Rawley,
he becomes one of only thirty three members of the
fifty home run club. And the magical scenes of just

(25:22):
tissues for Cal Rawley, ho he smokes, what a shot?

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Mariners Radio Network on the call. That's Levar's guy, the
big Dumper, Cal Rowley fiftieth.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
Home run on the air.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Yeah. For over forty years, tire Rack has been helping
customers find the right tires for how, what and where
they drive, shipped fast and freeback by free road hazard protection,
with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation tire rack
dot Com the way tire buying should be so we'll
have an other edition of in case you missed it
coming up here at about fifteen minutes from now, I

(25:54):
was thinking about this. I feel like, in case anybody
has missed this show, in discussing the Cleveland Browns quarterback room,
that there was somebody that could see into the future.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
Wow, we're standing in Ohio.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Somebody that could peek into the future.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
Y'all got the sound? And get the sound? I mean,
is this the set up?

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Did we get the sound?

Speaker 3 (26:21):
I mean, I mean did he get it on this segment?
I mean, you know, do we have it right now
or do we gotta veage out again?

Speaker 2 (26:29):
So Lee, go ahead and uh, do you have a
date a time stamp you want to apply to the sound?

Speaker 6 (26:34):
It be May approximately seven fifteen in the morning.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
Long time.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Wow? How about that? All right?

Speaker 1 (26:42):
What do we got?

Speaker 5 (26:43):
If you're Kenny Pickett and you don't win the starting job,
you're gonna be looking for an opportunity elsewhere because the
future is sitting behind you with two guys they've already drafted,
and if you're not starting in the immediate future, there
may be an opportunity to go somewhere else. And it's
all almost where they would be doing him a bit
of a favor almost if they allowed him, if they

(27:04):
released him to go somewhere else and have an opportunity
to get on another team and play. If that was
how the reps and if that's that's how things were going,
bang bang.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
I tell you what. AI is an amazing thing. Bro boy. Yeah,
I wish I do a job and that's everything.

Speaker 5 (27:22):
Though sorry, I don't I don't ever want to leave's
job to get in the way of him betting the elbow.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
AI has surely changed the game.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
What I mean, what happened.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
I mean that was clearly generated by AI, like the date,
the around.

Speaker 5 (27:44):
All of this. And it's funny because LaVar, you actually
sparked this. Do you know what started that whole conversation
about the roster, because there's a whole long clip and
basically you had at that point in time, because this
is May. This is not when you turned the corner
on Shador and said just start them. This is back
in May, and you were saying that you didn't think

(28:05):
he was going to make the roster, and that was
when I kind of pushed back and said, if if
anyone's gonna move on from like one of these quarterbacks,
it's probably pie. So the funny thing is it's played
out for that reason. But this what's baffling about all this.
It's not how it played out because I thought this
was how it was always going to work out. It's

(28:27):
more of like, why do you trade for it in
the first place? Like he's now been traded three times
in the past four seasons, which I believe it's him
and Sam Howell that are making their way towards some
of the most traded players in NFL history we've ever seen.
Side note, it's terrible for quarterback development, but this is

(28:49):
life now playing quarterback in the NFL. But the greater
point is what was the point of that? Could someone
help me understand why they traded for Kenny Pick in
the first place. If you're then going to turn around
and draft the quarterback in the third round, draft the
quarterback in the fifth round, and then also have a
guy who you could bring in off the street who'd

(29:11):
been there before in Tyler Huntley, who would eventually be
coming to camp. I mean, it's not like that was
a secret back then that they could, you know, find
Tyler Huntley on to their roster or he would be
a backup option of a veteran, you know guy for them.
So now it makes the whole picket situation even that
much more confusing. Why you would even waste any of

(29:34):
those reps Because I go back to the spring, I
go back to OTA's mini camp, training camp, and go
every rep you gave then, Kenny Pickett was a rep
that could have gone to Shador Sanders, It could have
gone to Dylan Gabriel. It could have helped further their development.
It was all for not it was all waste.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
If you if you go back four years.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
And Huntley into that, sure, yeah, I mean you you're
giving all these reps away, go ahead, don't.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Well, if you go back four years to the Baker
Mayfield transition into Deshaun Watson all the way up into
present day, find me another organization that has mismanaged the
quarterback position more than the Browns have in a four
year stretch. I mean, it is mind boggling.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
It's epic, it's history.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Oh yeah, I think it's I mean fascinating, But none
of it makes any sense. Like even when you finally
did have a guy like Joe Flacco, you still let
him walk. You let him walk and eventually he came
back like he did this offseason. But you still let
that guy walk and he was comeback Player of the Year.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
Has been clear playoffs. Just none of it makes sense.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Pickett made it possible by not being physically able to go.
I wonder if that was a soft tissue injury. I
wonder if this was deliberate and intentional that he wasn't
able to play. Do we recall what it was that
he was dealing with hamstring? Oh gosh, mm hmmm. That's

(31:08):
one of them. Injuries. Hammy is one of them. I'm
not playing injuries. Hammies is one of Hammy is one
of those. I need to get the hell out of
the way injuries. I just I'm curious because when you
look at the mess at the position that you're talking about, weird,
Like I bet you Kenny Pickett was looking at what

(31:32):
was developing and how that looked and was like, you know, flak,
oh you can have this. To be honest with you,
I think he's put himself in a better situation going
to Las Vegas. Cause to me, bringing in Kitty Pickett
at this time, at this moment says to me, they're

(31:53):
not all the way sold on Geno Smith, and you're
gonna have him as as a backup. And if it
doesn't if it doesn't work out, I mean to me,
I would rather be around Tom Brady and this Vegas
team for some strange reason. I mean, I feel like

(32:14):
it's like the battle of the losers, Like do I
want Cleveland or do I want Las Vegas? And at
least I don't have to pay taxes in Vegas, so
maybe I'll make a couple more dollars. I got an
opportunity to possibly play because this is a team that's
trying to find his way. They just added gent so
I got a nice little backfield with me. They they

(32:36):
got Brock Bowers. Uh, who's on the receiving corps. I'm
not sure how good the receiving corps is. Didn't they get.

Speaker 5 (32:42):
They they got to just sign when you're deal.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
I don't know how I feel about that, but I
just I'll say, maybe there's the problem. I mean, maybe
there is the possibilities, not problems, the possibilities that for
Kenny Pickett, for him doing all of this traveling around
and so little of a time, maybe that was a

(33:06):
you know, this is a better option than Cleveland. Which
sounds crazy because it's the Las Vegas Raiders, but just
possibly it could be a better situation for him in
terms of having a chance to have some success rather
than staying in Cleveland.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
Well we know that right because obviously with drafting the
two guys after him after they traded for him, there
really was no future for him if he didn't win
the starting job. The injury prevented him from really being
you know, competitive in that and I think all along
he was going to have to make some big time
waves in order for them to think that, you know,

(33:48):
he was going to be able to replace Joe Flacco's
experience and previous experience in particular with the Cleveland Browns
and what he did. You know Joe again, Joe Flocker,
that's Eddie veteran hand that can get this team into
the season. And look, this team can win some football
games with a lot of the other pieces. They have.
The job that Jim Schwartz has done with this defense,

(34:10):
the stars like a Miles Garrett and the rest of
the roster on that side of the ball, they can
win defensive battles with a ground game. With this offensive line.
So if you just have a quarterback that can go
in there and distribute the football, You're gonna able to
stay in the hunt and win some games like that's
how talented this roster is. And look, Pickett needed to
come in there, and he needed to find a way

(34:31):
of outperforming Joe Flacco leaving no doubt, and that clearly
didn't happen. So you get something back in return for
what you lost in the trade the first place. And
you've got two guys in Dylan Gabriel and Schade or Sanders,
who are rookies. They're not there yet, but they obviously
made Tommy Reese, their offense coordinator, Kevin Stefanski, their head coach,
feel comfortable enough with both of those guys potentially going

(34:55):
in as the backup.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
Was gonna get messy in Cleveland. That you got all
of these these Shadora Knights and Dylan Gabriel is going
to be in the wings, I don't think it's just
going to get ugly. I think, because I don't unless
Flacco plays well and quiets down all of what would

(35:18):
be considered to be a mounting amount of noise surrounding
the fact that there is going to be a tremendous
outcry for Shador Sanders to play. I don't think that's
going away. For those who think it's going to go
away now that the regular season is starting, I think
that's that's poor judgment. I don't see it going away.

(35:39):
It's going to build up because the narrative that that
has been created has been created to say that he
was not given a fair opportunity to show that he
can compete for the starting job. And that's going to
be something that continues on. It's going to continue to
grow unless Joe Flacco plays well, That's what I think.

(35:59):
So because it's it's going to be a messy situation
in Cleveland, a lot of lot of noise. Can they
block it out? How good is this team going to be?
I mean when they were supposed to be good, when
when Q was high on them, they underperformed. How good
are they supposed to be this year? I don't know.
I don't trust their backfield. You know they got they
got still some of the same weapons at some of

(36:21):
the skilled positions. But how good can this Cleveland Browns
team be? Regardless like take away all of the drama discussions,
just looking at the team, how good can the team be? What?
What is this team projecting out.

Speaker 5 (36:33):
To be better than four half wins. That's what I'll say.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
Yeah, yeah, that's that's so damn it.

Speaker 5 (36:41):
Quinn Swins.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
By the way, to the point that you brought, I'm trying,
I totally agree with you, LeVar. I don't think Schor
was given a fair opportunity, to be honest with you,
I mean, yeah, hype being allowed to start a preseason
game as a fifth round draft pick, I mean got screwed.

Speaker 5 (37:02):
Completely screwed over, by the way. Five drives. That's not enough,
right in the most recent one, Like you need at
least what ten twelve? Yeah, I mean like the entire.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Game, at least six, at least six, and they shorted him.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
At least the entire preseason. You know, it's over the evening.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
Maybe even go in and play overtime and like another
team's game, like not even the Browns, but any just
fly him in, let him go take over and over.
Oh wait, they don't do overtime of preseason. Gotcha, Okay, yeah, gotcha, gotcha.
Sucks man.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
I hate that whatever it is going to be, it's
going to be that. That's just know that. Just know
that whatever is going to be it's gonna be about you.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
I don't I don't truly think that the people that
are saying he didn't get a fair opportunity actually believe
what they're saying.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Yes they do, Okay, well, yes they do, all right, Cee.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
RG three doing that on his part podcast. Yes they do.
They do believe it. They do believe it, and they're
pushing it.

Speaker 2 (38:03):

Lap.

Speaker 7 (39:41):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning, Jonas, Good morning, Brady, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Levart, Hey Lee, Get in the yard.

Speaker 6 (39:48):
What are you in the yard? I am in the yard.

Speaker 5 (39:49):
You in the yard?

Speaker 6 (39:50):
See you in the yard.

Speaker 7 (39:52):
Speaking of being in the yard, guys, did you see
this wild viral video from over the weekend? Right now
the LAPD is investigating rod Shaw Jackson, the son of
famous Quentin Rampage Jackson of the UFC, for an incident
that happened inside a wrestling ring just down the street
from here. He got in and basically destroyed this guy,
Psycho Stu, who's now in critical condition.

Speaker 6 (40:15):
But LAPD is is investigating it.

Speaker 7 (40:17):
He clearly, from videos that you could see that have
gone viral, premeditated a real attack inside the wrestling ring.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Yeah, the guy went unconscious and then he just started firing.

Speaker 3 (40:26):
Off going yeah he was. I mean, he he rampaged him.
You know that slam that that pat Nts slam that
he used to do to cats. Yeah, I mean he
rampaged the head out of you. Then something earlier happen,
like where the dude did something hittinghim upside his head
or something.

Speaker 6 (40:44):
Yeah, he smashed a beer over his head. Right before
the fight.

Speaker 5 (40:47):
It looked like there was something what not. Right before
they're outside, it looked like there was a dispute over
like them the guy thought Rampage's son was a fighter,
and there was some sort of altercation and he like,
I don't know, it looked like there was some argument
about that. And then he was taken back by because
they were because they were trying to say like, hey,
he's not a fighter, dude, Like he's not like one

(41:08):
of the wrestlers either way. I mean, there's a lot
to that story. It's incredibly unfortunate. You hope the guy
just is able to recover.

Speaker 3 (41:17):
I didn't even know that it was real. It looked
so staged at first, and then as like, dang.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Like this, I think that was real.

Speaker 2 (41:25):
That was sort of the mix up is because some
people were under the impression that it was a quote
unquote work beinging fake and then some people thought that
it was you know, unscripted, and so that's why some
of the wrestlers who tried to come in and break
it up were like, is this part of the show. No,
this looked like real, real punches and the guy was
out cold.

Speaker 3 (41:45):
So I just know if that was me over top
of you Jonas, there would have been no question

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Oh man, real or not.
