start of football season, the NFL season.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Coming up next Thursday. Uh, you know, just kind of
mix things up a little bit.

Speaker 6 (01:47):
Say, football season's already started, dude.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yeah, NFL la las Yeah. I'm with you, man, I'm
a football guy through and through. That started in training
camp for me.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
You're late mother lovers.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
But so I am efforting a new intro song and uh,
that's you well, because that's important. Based on always well,
but based on what you guys rolled out the last
couple of times, I think I need to step up
and really try and make this.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Work to ship everybody.

Speaker 6 (02:19):
You know, I will give you a sneak preview of
mine because I've already already submitted mine. That's how fast
I can get this done. Jonas not one of those
guys where it takes you know, flip an hour. It's
very fitting for being football season. I'll just kind of
put it on. Okay, yeah, interesting, it's a great theme

(02:40):
music for like football, you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
But you guys will like it.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
What you got, var you got anything in the anything.

Speaker 7 (02:48):
You plan on switching mine up? I really really like
my song for right now, you know, no, just really do.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
I just like it.

Speaker 7 (02:56):
You know, I'll never let you guys pressure me. Got
you guys are not close enough to me an age
to pressure me, And I just stand on my business.
If I choose a song, I go with the song,
whether you guys like it or not. I know, I know.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
Q is only a one week type of guy. You know.

Speaker 7 (03:13):
I could tell how the girl when he was in
high school, like you know, she she got the kiss,
even got his chain week one, and then for some
reason that that chain broke apart and turned.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
To like corrosion and he was out.

Speaker 7 (03:27):
He didn't realize they didn't realize that he was giving
away fake change, like like candy bars.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
To the Georgians.

Speaker 7 (03:33):
You know, it was only one that got the real chain,
you know, much like Kelsey and.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
And take a scheme.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah I can, can I ask you guys a question?
And I look, maybe I've got a blind spot on this.
I literally couldn't care less that Travis Kelsey and Taylor
Swift got.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
Engaged and I was second that.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
I but the coverage it's gotten, I mean it should
get coverage. Why because they're both famous and and it's
two worlds that have collided. I mean, this is a
little bit more than Jesse James and and who did
who did he marry? Who was that that young lady
he married again? Like she was famous to I mean,
it's a little bit bigger than this, Like this is

(04:19):
like this potentially could be the biggest union between two
different worlds from NFL.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
You remember the best of the football player for the jeer.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Did he marry something?

Speaker 7 (04:35):
The girl's name Jesse James Denver met Denver? Yeah, I
mean I know they were both famous, you know, I
don't know she was like some TV stars. She's a singer,
Eric Decker. Jesse James is the singer Eric Decker was
was the player? Yeah, okay, there you go. Yeah, I
had a little mixed up. I'm thinking of Jesse James
or Jesse James. You know, Penn State has a Jesse James. Anyway,

(04:59):
when has their ever been a really really like when
has there been a very successful.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
Kind of you know, merging like that.

Speaker 7 (05:10):
I mean they made this the first the first family
of you know, of the NFL.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
No, I can think of one. I can think of
one who did it the right way.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
The real Pete and Holly Robson.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I would say, I didn't realize she was in Howard
the Duckman, I would say.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I would say Brady Quinn and Alicia Sacramony. Again, that
would be mine.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
I don't real But again, no offense.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
I don't I know she's a I know she's an Olympian.
I just ain't up on her like that, you know
what I mean. But then again, I'm not up on
Jesse James all like that either. I don't know who
a lot of people are. I know who Tate is,
I do, I mean, I know who they are. Then
there's probably that's interesting because I really don't pay attention
to people.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
You know, you have a Hall of Famer. Maybe the
greatest Tide end to do it.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Some people would probably argue that in this era some
people who are older wouldn't. And then you've got one
of the greatest centertanners we've ever seen, you know, and
their union. So here's the thing is, I don't mind
talking about it because it's it's interesting that this actually
worked out. Typically when these two things come together, there's
a period of time where it works and then it doesn't.

(06:23):
And just speaking from like my experience and marrying someone
who you know, contrary to what LeVar thinks, like that
when you're an Olympic gymnast, like they don't want to and.

Speaker 7 (06:32):
I don't want to be a contrary, don't don't. I'm
not a qualifier. She's probably super dope, super famous. I
just don't, you know, don't put that on me. Would
you're Brady Quinn, you had to do it, like it
had to be a dope one.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
So good.

Speaker 6 (06:47):
But they have a huge following, especially when you come
off an Olympic team, and so much so they tour,
you know, there's there's like they're on their own tour,
like they're gone, like they're gone for i don't know,
three four months, touring around the country doing different stuff
going on with that, So like again, there's there's all

(07:08):
sorts of stuff, but my general point.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
Is that you know what was successful.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Once that all ends, I mean, I can stop if
you want me. I don't know what you're saying or
getting your knees trained. Are we drunk, like what's going on?

Speaker 5 (07:20):
No?

Speaker 7 (07:20):
No, I'm I'm supportive. I'm saying I would love to
have a wife that travels and tours and and does
her own thing.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
For three to four months, I was right, I was
co signing you go ahead.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
You're not even listening tone because I'm not even saying
that that's what she was doing now. I'm saying that's
what they did then. And so my whole point of
what I'm trying to say, if you could let me talk,
is that this works now because he is playing, he
does have his schedule, he does have his other focus.
She's got hers, she's still saying, she's still performing. What
really becomes interesting about these relationships is when it gets

(07:54):
to a certain point when it's more about the kids,
it's more about the family old of it, and you
kind of got to sacrifice a lot of what you're
doing that's made you a star or a superstar in
this case, in regards to Travis Kelcey and Taylor Swift
and how they handled that transition, because it's an individual
transition that becomes really difficult. So I'm just happy they

(08:17):
made it to this point. But like once he's done, yes,
they have the podcast, there'll be other things. You know,
she can tour and do this forever, right, Like she
can be an entertainer and do what she's doing forever.
You know, he's you know, being to be at home.
He's gonna probably be it around the kids and stuff
if they want to do that, and who knows, maybe
he doesn't want kids, but if they do take a

(08:40):
break from it, all is she didn't want to stop
doing that all. I mean, you look at Tom Brady
and Gazelle Bunch and there's a lot again we don't
know all the details, but he wanted to keep playing.
And she was getting a point where it's like she's
raising the kids and she's got her own things going on.
But she wasn't as busy as she once was when
they first met, modeling and everything else she was doing.

(09:00):
So I find it interesting that it's working now and
like they're together, and you know, we'll see what happens
but it's like at some point there'll be some stretches on,
like the whole stardom that brought them together. Sometimes I
start them too as what kind of breaks you apart?

Speaker 2 (09:15):
I mean, it is just an engagement. I've been engaged twice,
I've been married once.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
You goo.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
I'm just saying, you know.

Speaker 7 (09:21):
Man, Jaselle was a little busy though, like she was
learning that tabo, you know, learning that jiu jitsu, you
know what I mean. She was learning them them escape techniques.
You know that you didn't escape from choke. I'm just saying,
you gotta be able to defend yourself out there these days.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
Man, it's a dangerous world. That was a hell of
a pool.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
I'm trying to think of colliding and clashing industries that
that was the best. That's probably the best one, Giselle
and Tom Brady. That's a good one, you know. And
I'm not drunk. You I'm not drunk. My knee feels amazing.
Can I be happy that my feels okay?

Speaker 5 (10:01):
I'm just well.

Speaker 6 (10:02):
We also, can you announce the the amount of ccs
that are taking out of it?

Speaker 7 (10:05):
You you hit, you hit. We weren't even close. I
said eight close I said that to Doc. Doc was like,
if it was eight c c's, he wouldn't have drained it.
Hit it was Brady hit it, I believe.

Speaker 8 (10:18):
Whens Whens, Yeah, he hit it.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
Oh, thank you, he hit it. Beat that thing up.

Speaker 8 (10:24):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
It was forty c c's. Man, that was a lot.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
I could have filled up a bag that you put
in the boob area, you know what I mean, I
want to dump that up.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
So forty c seeds? What would that fill up like?
What would that like?

Speaker 5 (10:40):
A syringe?

Speaker 7 (10:40):
A big one, A big, big one of those syringe
thing of the jiggy's. So and apparently I had been
doing some activities because it was it was really it
looked disgusting. I don't want to get into detail. I
don't want to gross people out, but it wasn't It
wasn't pretty. It wasn't a pretty deal. But let me
tell you something. When they alleviate that that pressure from

(11:02):
your knee and put that steroid in there to calm it.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
Down, you ain't lying.

Speaker 7 (11:08):
It takes you back here to those moments prior to
going out there on the football field, when they have
that long line that they wonder about, why is there
this long line coming out of this room and through
those doors and all the way down the locker room,
and then you see guys walking out and they look
like a different man. I received the nectar of the

(11:30):
Gods yesterday. I feel I'm not slunching slouching over today.
My back feels pretty good. I mean, that thing conquers
all I got about. Man, about eight nine more hours
of like literally a little bit of pain. It's like
the first time I felt pretty good in like a

(11:52):
couple months.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
So yeah, I'm happy. That's all. I came in hot
today because your boy's happy. So there you go.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Well, I congratul What do they call her? Tata?

Speaker 7 (12:02):
I mean that's what perfect called her. I don't I've
never heard that, but I thought that was interesting. We
just turned anything ghetto, don't we. I mean, we can't
just let her be Taylor. Somebody had to go ahead.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
And do it.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Cuts. Yeah, I didn't sound all that ghetto.

Speaker 7 (12:17):
Somebody was gutsy enough to make Taylor Swift a ghetto name.
Ta Ta Hey Tita? I mean I did hear Mariott
Travis Tita. He got experience with Tita's I.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Was listening to uh, I was listening to uh Petro's
talk about it yesterday on the Blowtorch and five seventy
l A Sports, and uh yeah he was. He was
pointing out, it really shows a wide range for Travis
Kelcey based on what he was accustomed to and what
he has ended up with getting engaged to, So, uh.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Two different worlds.

Speaker 7 (12:56):
You know, she seemingly know doesn't want to pay any bills,
you know, wants to be supported based off of her looks,
not my words hers. And I just found it to
be kind of curious that she happened to be a
black lady talking like that.

Speaker 5 (13:12):
I didn't.

Speaker 7 (13:13):
I didn't think it was a great representation of our
black women out there. Shots out to my black women
out there, Black women, if you fall on the side,
I'm gonna get up and go to work. I've seen
a lot of nervesations since I've been up here.

Speaker 5 (13:27):
Yeah, standing ovation for Lee.

Speaker 6 (13:29):
I don't know what that Lee needs a sugar mama.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
Lee needs a sponsor and not.

Speaker 7 (13:39):
He needs a different type of sponsor, one that can
talk to him and tell him about his experiences. But yeah,
I ain't you know, I ain't really feel like that
was the right situation. For Travis Kelsey because he was
walking down a lane that was going getting caught up,
you know what I mean. But now, I mean he's
the one that's gonna have to be wondering and worrying

(13:59):
about if it doesn't work out, what happens and who
gets what, and him having you know, emotional and financial
support and just needing to have the things that are
necessary when you get used to a certain lifestyle. It's
going to be him that's all going to be on
the right side of the coin for once.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
By the way, yeah, Brady mentioned this, she could do
this gig forever. She's what thirty five you got, You've.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
Got there, so she doesn't have to do it ever again.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
You've got Yeah, but you've got acts that are returning
in their sixties that are making millions on the road.
And she's already what a billionaire plus.

Speaker 7 (14:41):
She's making more than I believe us together right now, crazy,
not even awake. She's in her bed somewhere, tucked in
nice and comfortable sleep, making more than all of us
put the whole entire show put together right now, sleeping.

Speaker 6 (14:56):
It will be interesting to see if she, you know,
continues to you stay on the path she's on, like
if she wants to keep doing it, I mean, because
she hasn't made enough where she'd be fine. But you
know people always say that, like, oh they got enough money,
and people who have that sort of money are like,
I want more enough, Like it's never enough. It's never enough.
The best joke I heard about this relationship, this union

(15:18):
if you will with someone said this prenup will be
longer than any book Travis Kelsey has ever read The Geez.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
I don't find that to be insulted.

Speaker 7 (15:33):
I really don't, because there's going to be a lot
of clauses, a lot of outs, a lot of poison pills,
a lot of nope this that the other you leave
with what you came Would I leave? Would I'd be
like you think, I just you know it. Marriage changes things, man,
It just changes things like love and the person you

(15:56):
love in dating and even being engaged, and even that
first couple weeks of marriage that is not the person
that you being down the line. I'm just saying, not
saying that it's a bad thing. I'm just saying it's different.
And if you don't know how to adjust, which athletes
learn to adjust, Some people learn to adjust. You got
to be able to adjust because they turned from something

(16:18):
different than what they were when you when.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
You met them. I mean pre kids especially, Huh, what
do they turn into?

Speaker 7 (16:27):
It depends, you know, if anybody knows about which sometimes
you have kids before. Yeah, but Chewie was a cool dude.
Chewie didn't have no problems. You got to go to
like a Grimlin or something like that. Like you know,
Gizmo was a really really nice little monster. Gizmo was

(16:47):
was pleasant, he was lovable, he was cool. But what
happens if he got wet and it went what beyond midnight.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Or something like that, how they turned into a grimlin?

Speaker 8 (17:00):
Huh, don't feed them after midnight.

Speaker 5 (17:03):
Don't feed them after midnight. There you go. That's it's more.

Speaker 7 (17:07):
It's more comparable to Gizmo and a Grimlin than it
is to you know, Chebacca. He didn't morph in anything.
He's just Schebacca. Just got to be careful, that's all.
Like you know, some people have kids, like I was
always like a traditional lists you know, wait till you
get married before you have kids. I mean I didn't,

(17:27):
but I'm just saying you're supposed to. And I believe
in that. But I say this, Hey, Matt, you didn't
ain't know that. Hey, look, but if you have a
kid before marriage, I would say, it's not about figuring
out if you guys are compatible sexually. It's about figuring
out can they handle having a kid. That's what I

(17:48):
and maybe I'll leave it at that, you know what
I mean, Like, you know, you talk about like the
chemical imbalances that take place and just things like you know,
change in their bodies and in their minds, like in
their minds, like in their brains, like their brains get
like some type of worm in it or something like that,
and then go bad.

Speaker 5 (18:07):
And you got to be able to adjust and adapt
to the changes, you know.

Speaker 7 (18:10):
And then there's a kid that's crying and they do everything.
Even if you help, you still didn't do enough. And
then you do that for years and years and years,
and then they grow up and then they're gun. Then
you got to figure out who the person is that
you're dealing with after the kids have left. So there's that.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
That's marriage. Good luck to everybody out there.

Speaker 7 (18:26):
Congrats to everybody out there that's been able to do it,
because a lot of people aren't able to stay in them.
So there you go. I'm happy for Kelsey, I'm happy
for Taye. Take it one day out of time, you know,
and those tour dates that Q talked about. Enjoy those
three four months away because you know, once once it stops,
and you see each other every day for the rest

(18:47):
of your lives. Uh, you know, you find out a
lot about yourself, you know.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
There you go. I just figured out from the hip
and keep it real, that's all. Yeah, right, there you go.
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (18:58):
I appreciate this therapy that you I appreciate being able
to want people out there and ain't too late. Travis, Hey,
grab your button. Run Hey hey, Lee, you get in
the yard or what you getting in the yard?

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Why don't you get in the yard.

Speaker 6 (19:14):
I've been waiting backstage the entire time.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Not with this Taylor slander.

Speaker 8 (19:21):
No oh no, I'm watching the Aras tour right now.

Speaker 7 (19:27):

Speaker 1 (19:36):

Speaker 5 (21:50):
Last night? How?

Speaker 8 (21:54):
I don't know what did I do last night?

Speaker 5 (21:56):
Oh god?

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Oh yeah?

Speaker 7 (22:02):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (22:03):

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (22:13):
And Godzilla?

Speaker 8 (22:14):
Should Godzilla? Shouldn't Godzilla? With the boys?

Speaker 5 (22:18):
Oh? With the boys? With the boys? With the boys.

Speaker 6 (22:22):
You know it's hammered. Yeah, that's great. Q.

Speaker 7 (22:25):
You got a lot of dude friends like you got
some dudes that you're close.

Speaker 8 (22:29):
I'm just gonna say that, actually you.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
Hang with them as much?

Speaker 7 (22:33):
Do you hang with them as much as as is
Lee hangs out with his his guy friends.

Speaker 6 (22:41):
No, I barely see anyone because we always got kid stuff.

Speaker 7 (22:45):
Oh god, I'm trying to understand the amount of frequency
that you spend with your guy friends. Lee like, So
it seems a tid bit peculiar because we've been doing
this show for a lot of years to take inventory
on how many days and hours and minute a week
you spend with your boys, especially taught, I would be

(23:06):
curious as to how that matches up in comparison to other.
I won't even say girlfriend or anything like that. Well,
just say other.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Yeah, she's a workaholic.

Speaker 10 (23:16):
So you know I could only spend as much time
as I can with hers.

Speaker 8 (23:20):
I would spend I would spend twice as much time.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
As I could.

Speaker 5 (23:24):
It's a horrible excuse.

Speaker 10 (23:27):
Well, yesterday, So yesterday I was invited in Wait, Lorena, what.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
Did you just say? I said, if you hung out
with her more, you'd be twice as drunk at work.

Speaker 8 (23:36):
You said she drives you to drink, So they.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Say shake Orne.

Speaker 10 (23:41):
Yeah, so I was invited yesterday to a pool party.
But it was a pool party that required fifty dollars
just to get into the pool.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Tuesday pool party?

Speaker 5 (23:51):
Who invited you?

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Eh?

Speaker 8 (23:53):
People?

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Yah?

Speaker 10 (23:55):
I mean it's just nobody of note by what I
was invited to. The Roosevelt. The Roosevelt is a famous
I've been there. Yeah, the Roosevelt.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
T haed a buddy get kicked out because he urinated
in the pool.

Speaker 10 (24:16):
Yeah, yeah, so ridiculous. I did not pay fifty dollars
to get into that pool.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
Who invited you? Lee?

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Johnny?

Speaker 10 (24:25):
These are all code names. Yeah, I don't know what
you want me to tell. I can't give you a
name that matters. Buddy's birthday at the Roosevelt, which is
a famous hotel here in Hollywood, and they have a
famous pool, and you have to pay fifty dollars to
get into the pool, and I said no, so I
went and had sushi and beer instead.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
That's what I did. This is the story that story.
Don't you boys, hey, don't you press him for information?

Speaker 5 (24:52):
Is that an adult film? Is that an adult film?

Speaker 7 (24:54):
Is that one of the like descriptions that Q was
looking for in that segment the other week? Shinzilla shittendun?
Does that mean that Shinzilla? Light that that zilla like
down to the shin Is that what that means? Like Shinzilla?

Speaker 2 (25:10):
You know that sounds like a movie. I have zero
interest in seeing.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
No, man, it's definitely who some people are into. Down
to the ship.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
I can assure you nothing in that movie is our
tire rack play the day?

Speaker 5 (25:23):
But this is the two on an mo swinging a
line in the left.

Speaker 11 (25:27):
Center base head.

Speaker 5 (25:28):
Put it in the box. Cemets have made it.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Too straight over the Phillies, aren't tat horse.

Speaker 12 (25:33):
From third Comets poured out of the dugout Nemo's waiting
form between first and second. Here comes the shower of
water and sunflower seeds out. A group of happy Mets
are jumping up and down, celebrating a six to five
win over Joelandran.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
And the Phillies.

Speaker 2 (25:52):

Speaker 1 (26:06):
The way tire buying should be.

Speaker 5 (26:08):
All right, do it for our baseball coach, All damn.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Excuse your Pirates.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
Should have made that a golf highlight.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
So excuse you're a Pirates fan?

Speaker 5 (26:19):
Yeah right, Come, I like this topic.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Let's go come on, all right, So coming up fifteen
minutes from now, we're gonna have another edition of In
case you missed it, But in case you missed this, yesterday,
we discussed the banning of Dave Portnoy from entering the
stadium at the Horseshoe this Saturday for the Big game
between Texas and Ohio State on Fox. And Dave Portnoy

(26:44):
took the matter to social media yesterday to try and
explain the situation.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
And here was a little bit.

Speaker 11 (26:51):
From the big story involving me right now. Is Ohio
State banning me from entering the Shoe be part of
Big Noon Kickoff on the field. They also banned the
Barsools Sports College football show.

Speaker 6 (27:05):
We were supposed to be in Columbus. We talked about
being in Columbus and.

Speaker 11 (27:10):
Then we got word that Ohio State was not going
to allow us to be on campus with Big newon Kickoff. Now,
we formed this big relationship with Fox, and I'm always cognizant.

Speaker 6 (27:20):
Of our partners and try to do right by them.

Speaker 11 (27:22):
And they definitely got put in a weird spot because
they didn't see this.

Speaker 5 (27:26):
How could anybody see that?

Speaker 11 (27:28):
Cry and Ryan Day and Ohio State would be this soft.
I mean, they got a big game versus Texas.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
Coming up a game.

Speaker 11 (27:35):
I'm rooting for I'm rooting for the Big Ten. But
Michigan has just broken Ohio State. Ohio State has lost
four straight times. They haven't beaten Michigan in a decade.
They wake up, they think about Michigan. They go to sleep,
they think about Michigan. They see this face. It's the Boogeyman.
So Fox who was like, yeah, this will be great,

(27:57):
We'll bringing Daves spice things up. Now Ohio State literally
can't even focus on Texas, like just we cannot cannot
have Dave on the set.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
We just can't.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
So that was a little bit from Dave Portnoy yesterday
talking about the situation.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Now, I've I've heard, based.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
On good authority, a right, I have this on good
authority that this is not exactly something that just popped up.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
In the last twenty four hours.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
That that people knew about this for quite some time
makes the timing of the news interesting.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
But there's a lot of well, we didn't have.

Speaker 7 (28:35):
The former linebacker that confirmed it, and it turned into
a story. Was Sullivan or whatever his name, what's the
guys carpenter, I mean, it turned into a story because
one of their own leaked it out. I mean that's
the way I read it, you know, that's the way
I got it. It's like your own your own players,

(28:58):
your own player from your school leaked it out. They
talked about it and confirmed that it was the school
that indeed it was. It was the coach, the protecting
the coach from from this situation. I mean, it is
what it is, right, like, it is what it is.
My whole thing is I could see I really can't

(29:21):
see Ohio state side of it. Like to give that
much light in that power to it. Dude, Like did
Portnoy ever play ball? Was he ever on the field?
Like did he donned? Amazing? And and what is a yellow?
Amazing gold? What are they little pussy's anyway?

Speaker 5 (29:38):
Amazing blue? Okay?

Speaker 7 (29:41):
Like did he ever play? He's probably around my age.
I don't think he's never plead for them?

Speaker 5 (29:49):
Like, what are you working? What you mean the boogeyman?

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Like I always wanted to say that on the air, you.

Speaker 6 (29:53):
Said you're actually two dumps?

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Yeah, what is it?

Speaker 5 (30:01):
Marsman?

Speaker 1 (30:01):
Dumb twice two days in a row?

Speaker 5 (30:03):
Are up here? Man?

Speaker 7 (30:05):
You can't call yourself the boogeyman, and you're not You're
not a boogieman.

Speaker 5 (30:10):
You're not hutch You're not would you know you're not
You're not Tom Brady. I mean you're not. You're not Irons,
You're You're who are you?

Speaker 7 (30:21):
Like? Yes, you built an amazing empire in terms of
in the media game, But the boogeyman, Like, come on, man,
I think it's a great it's a great story because
it's entertaining because sports always takes these weird ass twists
and turns. But this right here, to me, I think

(30:41):
is so poorly played by Ohio State. Why would you
even give that any type of attention? So what if
Portnoy is there, you know, so what just worry about
whipping the team's ass. Oh he's gonna hate Ah you
beat Texas. It's not Michigan.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
So watched It's an awful look, Ryan Da, it's off
for Ohio State and it is.

Speaker 7 (31:04):
I mean, you won the national title. He can talk
as much trash as he wants to talk. Yes, you
lost to Michigan. Yes, you've been losing to Michigan. Sure
you can blame things if you want to to try
to lessen the pain or the disappointment of losing to
the Wolverines.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
I mean people lose to the Wolverines. I never beat them.
I hate it.

Speaker 7 (31:28):
I hate that I never beat them. Anyway, I digress.
All I'm saying is you won a national title. I
take a step away for two seconds and be like,
why would we even buy into some petty A type
stuff like this and we're we're national We're defending national champs.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Oh, thank you, thank you for not saying ass just now. Yeah, right,
appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (31:52):
It might have been the word that came after ass
that made me go with A so I could. I
just started censoring myself early to give me enough run
way to land that I find.

Speaker 6 (32:01):
What's interesting about this too, is for Ohio State, this
isn't great for your own brand. I mean, you can
talk about whoever made the decision and why they made
the decision, But I think about barstool Ohio State, which
barstool has, you know, all the different affiliates throughout you
know their network and obviously college campuses. They have one
hundred and eighty seven thousand followers on barstool Ohio State.

(32:27):
Like you're banning barstool being able to go on a
campus for arguably the biggest game of the year. Now
Ohio State Penn State might end up being a bigger
game because it might be one versus two depending on
how this first game goes. But you get my general point, like,
why would you want to be exclusive and away from

(32:48):
that brand? Regardless of you know, some of those feelings.
It doesn't that's not good for business. Maybe Ohio State,
it's like a it doesn't matter to us. You know,
it's our campus, to our stadium. You know, we're we're
you know, gonna be showcasing our team that just won
the national championship. So we get to the side.

Speaker 7 (33:06):
Was there ever a reason given? Because if you if
you listen to more of what Portnoy had to say,
he basically says, listen, I don't have a problem with it.
Just just say that that you own it.

Speaker 5 (33:17):
Own the fact that you said that this happened. That's all.
If he wanted to be over just own it.

Speaker 6 (33:24):
The problem too with some of the information out there,
And I'm not gonna say who wrote the article, but
there's an article out there that is wrong. I'll just
put it that way. A lot of the intel information
this this writer is getting and he didn't follows college football,
is absolutely inaccurate. And it's and it's not to go
on a long winded tangent, but it's one of the

(33:45):
reasons why the more I've been involved with the sports
media industry, and I know it doesn't it's not news
as well, but it's shed a light on that. Like
there are people who are on the take, and I'm
not saying they're taking money, but they get those they
get those little whispers of what's going on, or they're
the mouthpiece for someone who's behind the scenes, and they

(34:07):
don't want to tarnish those relationships. So again, I'll just
I'll set this record straight. Dave Portnoy will be with
us on the field on our desk outside inside stadiums
throughout this year for Big Doing kickoff that I can
assure you. Now when it comes to Ohio State, I

(34:28):
don't know about that obviously, not this week, and we'll
see what happens in the future. But there's no other
school that to the best of my knowledge, in the
Big twelve or Big Ten, that has any issue with
Dave Portnoy, any issue with Barstool. There's only one school.
So that is the truth. The other part of it

(34:51):
kind of leads to Ohio State's involvement in all this,
and it is interesting that without someone one of their
own bringing it out, it never would have been discussed.
People would have looked at the show and probably said, oh,
this is how they're going to produce the show. This
is the role that Dave Portnoy is going to play.
You know, now the cats out of the bag since

(35:13):
people have known for a while and it does make
Ohio State look bad in this case.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
It's so interesting because my whole thing is.

Speaker 7 (35:22):
Again, what is the reason why come out and say
the reasons why this got mixed up or this? Say something,
Ohio State, say something, and you know what else would
make it super simple, make it easy, like hey, I
forget about it.

Speaker 5 (35:37):
Bygones, be bygones. He can come issue a statement.

Speaker 7 (35:42):
Don't issue a statement saying that's not true, that's not true,
that's not true.

Speaker 5 (35:45):
You know what you do?

Speaker 7 (35:46):
You issue a statement, say, oh, we heard that Portnoy
had to cancel the production team and the plans for Barstool.
Ohio State, they're not going to do it in collaboration
because we heard there was a misunderstanding. If you're fabricating
or bending the truth that way, that's perfect or you'm sarry.

Speaker 5 (36:05):
You could get away with it that way. Say the
people like it or not.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Just say something on the lines of, yeah, we welcome
Dave into the stadium, he can come take a look
at our chance to ring and then it's.

Speaker 7 (36:14):
A rap and we have yet to hear that's fun.
We have yet to hear that come out and say
he's not the boogeyman. We're the national champs portnoy can come.

Speaker 5 (36:26):
We love our.

Speaker 7 (36:26):
Relationship with Fox, we love big noon kickoff show like
Let's Go. Nobody said that, Nobody has said that. Nobody's
saying it. And to me that like, like, you're guilty, dog,
you're guilty. Don't act like you didn't do it, and
don't act like you didn't turn this into a thing.

Speaker 5 (36:45):
However it became a thing. You're guilty as charged.

Speaker 7 (36:48):
I can't because nothing you have said or done would
say anything other than this is what y'all did. Whoever
said it, whoever did it, somebody did, and nobody's doing
anything to say this is going to offset what's being
put out there, and they need to do it. They
don't have much time, but they need to do it.
I'm telling you that that's what I think.

Speaker 2 (37:10):

Travis Kelsey getting engaged, but did you know that betters

betting on the fact that they would indeed get engaged.
One better put down twenty three hundred dollars for the

(38:46):
fact to get eighty seven hundred back Wood, Why is that?

Speaker 6 (38:52):
Lee or hammered?

Speaker 10 (38:52):
Aren't you yeavs in a celebratory mood yesterday?

Speaker 5 (39:01):
I mean, why did you make this in the country? Like?
I know that's a Taylor Swift song, but is this.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
I mean that's her first big hits.

Speaker 5 (39:08):
She's not a country music singer.

Speaker 8 (39:10):
Yes, yes she is.

Speaker 5 (39:11):
She just she's yeah, So I don't why are y'all making.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
This like elusive.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
Yeah, just throw we won eight thousand dollars like that.

Speaker 8 (39:22):
That's not like, come on, well are you being exclusive
with that? With that country title?

Speaker 2 (39:28):
I'm trying to figure out why why Lee's got the
Whale on TV.

Speaker 10 (39:31):
I put that on for you, like for what you
were Big Brendan Fraser fan. Not I mean, listen, big
Brittain Fraser fan. Whoa okay, huge huge?

Speaker 5 (39:45):
Oh whoa? I guess Lee would know. He knows you
best out of anybody.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
So what's this movie? Bad guy's just a fat ass?

Speaker 7 (39:51):
Yeah, okay, cool, No, don't try to get dump bro.

Speaker 5 (39:55):
You ain't on dump time.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
Nah, man, you got the dump league this week. Nobody's
catching bar this in the dumps?

Speaker 5 (40:02):
Yeah, nobody? Go ahead, Lee.

Speaker 10 (40:06):
Well, guys, in case you missed it, Jay Cutler is
going to be spending four days in jail after.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
You can do it now last fall, god forbid? He
uh you know, he offer.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
Offer somebody a couple of grand for we're ending him,
you know, uh, while licking the lid previously.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
Four days in jail. How do you think that's going
to go for him?

Speaker 8 (40:35):
Not?

Speaker 1 (40:35):
Well, good time off?

Speaker 7 (40:38):
I mean four days is a lot of time in jail. Bro,
I'm telling you, I mean, I've never been to jail
and I've never had to do it, but I know
people who have it.

Speaker 5 (40:46):
I'm telling you, sometimes doing.

Speaker 7 (40:48):
A short bit is way worse than doing a long one,
you know from what I hear. Hell yeah, it feels
like forever, longest four days of his life.
