How we feel in here on this Thursday morning?
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Fine?
Speaker 5 (01:56):
So boys, you know, just try to keep my voice,
that's all.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
Been a battle this week. Boy, it's been a battle.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Uh When did that start?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
By the way, was it?
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (02:05):
Sunday I started to notice. I was like, oh, it's
it's going it's going away here.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
So what's the remedies. What are you doing to get.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
All the remedies that you do as well? Same thing?
You know, I don't do them.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Salt some warm salt water.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
None of them ever worked for me. Like the whole
honey and hot tea thing never really worked. Like everything
just feels temporary. And then you go back to.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Doing ggle gurgle warm warm water with with salt. Yep,
got to help your throat.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
You're trying to not talk as much too, you know.
Told my wife, you know, we went on a walk
with me. I said, I'll give you a one word
response as the answer. So I was like, it's on
you to figure out how you wanna, you know, propose
that question or how we're gonna you know, converse, which
was interesting but also fun. I mean it it led
us to a point where she she was kind of.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Like I was like, yeah, this is what it's like.
You've got to ask very specific questions.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
So room temperature water was always the trick, and to
this day, I don't drink cold water. It's only room
temperature water, so that way doesn't the coldness doesn't mess
with my vocal cords.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
It doesn't shock your vocal cords. Yeah, I heard that, so.
Speaker 7 (03:23):
Yeah, it's always been always been my approach.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
And then Jonas likes to also drink just playing coffee.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
People used to call that black black coffee, but you.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
Say that racist? Can you call black coffee now?
Speaker 5 (03:37):
It's messed up.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
I don't know, But we gotta be careful, man, so
that we live in a sensitive world these days. You know,
people come after you.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Yeah, by the way, yeah, I mean you know, I
don't know if you guys want to get into this
discussion here now or or if we want to wait a.
Speaker 7 (03:58):
Little bit later on. But that was that was brutal yesterday.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
I mean you got to ignowledge. We got to acknowledge it.
I mean, yeah, it's a historical happening, you know, very sad, disgusting.
I can't believe our our you know, if you don't
find a way to rid rid yourselves of the ills
(04:25):
of the past, you're destined to repeat them. And I
feel like we're seeing a lot of things that you know,
our grandparents you know, have have seen an experienced and
it's it's it's sad, man, It's it's super sad. You know,
people can disagree, people can have different beliefs. They could
(04:48):
have different different convictions and and you should. You know,
that's what what makes the world go round. Uh, But
when it crosses over into now you're taking away people's
freedoms to to be open or about raising topics and
(05:12):
having discussions about uncomfortable conversations for right or for wrong.
When it ends like this, it's it's uh, it's disheartening.
It's it's it's it's super sad. And you know, it
doesn't it doesn't matter what side like. All these I
always hear I stay away from it. I always hear
right left, all that stuff. Conservative liberals always hear all
(05:34):
those things that stay away from it. But it's just
sad to think that these things have gotten so pronounced.
Color barriers, you know, racial barriers, you know financial monetary barriers,
you know economic barriers, you know, all these different barriers
could actually lead to us getting to such a place
(05:57):
where the hate for another person that is an American,
you're an American more more likely than not, and we're
we actually are executing hating one another. It's it's just
it's a it's a sad place to be in. And
and you know, for me, yesterday was kind of like wow,
(06:20):
like when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it did,
And and I thought some prayers to that that man's family,
and I hope they catch a person who did it.
Speaker 6 (06:33):
Yeah, I believe they did. But yeah, Charlie Kirk is
obviously who LeVar is referencing. I think the thing that,
you know, there's a lot of things that scare me,
bother me, make you angry, frustrated, but none more so
than than the manner of which he was attempting to,
(06:56):
you know, preach what he believes. Was you know, he
believed in, you know, being able to argue or debate
and have that sort of discussion in a civil manner.
You know, it wasn't as if he was inciting anything.
I think if you looked at what he did at
turning point, whether you agree with his views or not,
(07:19):
he was willing to always sit down with you, willing
to always tell you, you know, what he believes, why
he believes what he believes, listened it to what you believe,
and have that conversation. That's what makes this country great.
And not to like parallel today with what happened yesterday,
but it's also nine to eleven this is also a
(07:42):
day where I hope people don't forget what took place.
I hope people remember the sacrifices that were made after that,
you know, to defend this country for the liveries and
freedoms we enjoy every day. So really, really tough day.
I think for a lot of us out there who
(08:03):
knew who Charlie Kirk was, who followed and listened to him,
And again, whether you were a fan or whether you're
believed in what he believed or didn't, the fact that
it came to that is what's so sad is that
someone felt like they couldn't just have civil discourse. They
(08:23):
needed to take away this man's life, which is it's
crazy to think that that's where we've gotten to in
today's world.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
And yeah, I mean, I hope.
Speaker 6 (08:33):
It's one of those things where like, I'm not sure
anything really prepares you for how do you respond to
something like this?
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah, I just think that there's got to be at
some point a level of common sense that you would
think would kick in to where why don't we just
let's all come to some sort of an agreement. All right,
whatever your beliefs are, that's cool. Everybody goes home safe
to their family.
Speaker 7 (08:54):
At the end of the day, that's it.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
And now he doesn't get these chances to do that.
And now he's got young kids, he's got a wife
that are never going to see their dad again, which
is the worst part of all of it. And you know,
it's politicized, it's all that. At its core, it's a father,
it's a husband who's got a family that's going to
grow up without him. That's terrible. And I don't know anybody,
(09:19):
and to see that people take celebrating people like you
just got scumbags left and right who have no thought
to if you've ever been around death or anything like that,
or had someone close to you pass away, you understand
the finality of it. And once you understand the finality
of it, you realize, oh yeah, like that's that supersedes everything,
(09:44):
any discussion, any debate, any disagreement. And you still got
these wackos and these dirt bags that just don't think
in that, that don't have the thought or the foresight
to look at things like that, or the ability or
and it's just whatever your issue are, keeping to yourself,
don't ruin somebody's else's life because you haven't figured yours
(10:05):
out and that's what it feels like.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
So it's awful, super sad man. It's a sad day
in our country for a lot of different reasons. And
you know, I just I hope that it is a
wake up call of sorts. The magnitude of what this
was that took place. I hope it can open up
better conversations. Again, I think we all echo the idea
(10:30):
that you can harbor and feel differently than other people.
That doesn't mean that you know your fellow man like
this is your fellow man or your fellow woman. You
doesn't mean that you take it to that level. And
then you know, that's just that's the sad part of it,
because you should be able to sit down and reason.
(10:52):
I've sat down with many people that I don't agree
with them, you know, viewpoints, vantage points, you know, and
sometimes it's it's the most interesting conversation that you can
have with somebody who isn't of the same mindset or
isn't of the same beliefs and convictions that you have.
(11:12):
You know, just yesterday brought me back to a lot
of different things that I experienced when I was growing
up and and just to kind of relive some of
those those thoughts of you know, why people feel the
way that they feel. You know, I can recall having
conversations like, you know, why do you hate me? You know,
what is your reasoning for hating me? And just if
(11:38):
you're willing to reason with someone else and have the conversation,
then you just might open yourself up and open that
person up to two conversations and points that really can
lead to, you know, healing. Sometimes it's just hurt. Sometimes
(12:00):
times it's just misunderstanding. Sometimes it's just a lack of
of knowing and and and it just takes a conversation
and and it's just it's just sad to think that
someone who's willing to do that and and obviously Kirk
did it on a larger scale than just a person
(12:20):
a person type of interaction at times, but it's just
it's just hard to think that if you have, you know,
strong convictions and strong beliefs that you actually can't talk
to somebody who would actually go to the length that
that person did yesterday to shut you up, to stop
(12:43):
you from being able to talk. You know, I don't
I don't feel like there was any type of a
leading of you know, he wasn't a leader of a revolution,
you know, and I didn't feel that. I didn't feel
like this was leading into something different. Now, a lot
of people may disagree and say, you know, you've heard
(13:04):
a lot of different things thrown out there during the election,
but you know, at the end of the day, the
guy was just saying, you know, believe in family, believe
in church, and you know, and it's just kind of
for me, you know. I mean, there were some things
(13:25):
that could be called into question depending on what group
you're you're attached to, but even then that's not it's
not big enough. It's not big enough for the totality
of what took place yesterday.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
He never he never sat on a rooftop from two
hundred yards away and shot somebody in the throat on
in front of the world to see with two young
kids like it just none of it is justified. And
anybody trying to make the argument that that it is,
if there still are people out there doing that, you're
an idiot, like you just it's ridiculous.
Speaker 6 (14:00):
My hope is that, I mean, someone needs to step
up and you know, fill that void. I think what
he was doing was important, and I don't care again
what you believe. It was important for both sides to
learn and see that you can. I mean, I'm not
sure if you saw the video of how big the
crowd was, but this is a sort of grassroots movement
(14:22):
that had thousands of people and young people in particular,
and I think it was a good lesson to teach
people that you can have a conversation even with people
you don't agree with, regardless of what you believe. So
I do hope that there is someone out there who
will continue, you know, to show that you can do
that and that you know, what happened that Charlie is
(14:45):
not what this country is about. It's not what you know.
It's the craziness of one person. But I do hope
someone can stand up and and continue to do what
Charlie was doing.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
No doubt.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe.

Play of the day.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
I have a pitch on the way to Leo.
Speaker 9 (16:24):
Not Buddy swinging fly ball deep right field, down the line,
walking up, Leo Revas. Oh, walk up to run home run.
Good bye baseball. The Mariners sweep the Kurdinals in the
three game series. They have won five in a row.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Oh, look up home run.
Speaker 9 (16:44):
A two run shot by Leo Reevas. The Mariners win
at four to two, head thirteen innings. Leo getting bobbed
at home play.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Mariners Radio Network on the call. That's your tire rack
play the Day.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
For over forty years, Tiraq has been helping customers find
the right tires for how, what and where they drive.
Shipped fast and free back by free Road, has a
protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation, tire
rack dot Com. The way tire buying should be. Week
two in the NFL kicks off later on tonight. Are
friends listening in Wisconsin? You know that your packers are
(17:18):
a three point favorite as they host the Washington Commanders
coming up from lambeau Field, and while there are several
storylines to get into, there's only one storyline that this
show needs to attack, and that storyline is Will Lee
as a Packers fan, hold out and hold strong in
(17:41):
not boozing during the week with his team playing on
Thursday Night football.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
Lee, this is where things go sideways for you.
Speaker 10 (17:50):
I believe, well you bring in the details in the
caveats of this week or during the week. So, I
mean we've talked about this, whether or not if Michael
Parsons gets a sack, you know, you get a little
bit of a celebration drink.
Speaker 11 (18:05):
But you implemented that rule, nobody. That is the rules
that I have implemented on myself. Yes, no, no, drink
to do it.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Don't don't, don't implement any rules, bro, Just drink. Because
the thing is you're either going to do it or
you're not going to do it. So it's off, Like
the bet, the deal is off, man, Like, just just
go take a bath in it, take take a shower, totally, totally,
just get all the way into it.
Speaker 5 (18:36):
Yeah, I mean, I think it's pretty evident we've lost
all faith in you.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
So you know I love that.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
Yeah, yeah, no, I appreciate no one believes in you anymore.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
No, that's the way I like it to be.
Speaker 10 (18:46):
I hate disappointing people, so I like starting and keeping
it right there at the bottom.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
That's a disappointment. That is a disappointment in itself.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Even let me get up off the ground.
Speaker 7 (18:58):
Man, you're keeping me on the ground.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
You put should be while I'm down you guys.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
No, no, no, no, no no, no, no, no, don't
it's our fatality deal. We're not keeping you on the ground.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
Hey, LeVar, stop making him drink. Man, seriously, no.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
That's not that's not what we're doing.
Speaker 10 (19:15):
LaVar says, I have to drink, so I'm gonna I'm
gonna stick to the show, stick to the rundown, and have.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Some lose weight. So I guess we're both in it together.
If I can stop eating so much food and lose weight,
then you can stop drinkingly. So the moment I start
dieting or trying to lose weight, and then you got
to stop drinking because you don't have an excuse. But
for now, because I'm fat.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
It sounds like misery loves company.
Speaker 10 (19:46):
So it sounds like this is a you thing, like
you don't believe me because you're because you're going through
your thing.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
I totally believe easily. Just overweight.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
First of all, what a lie?
Speaker 2 (19:59):
And what is it?
Speaker 4 (20:00):
What makes you think to your ovoys it State college?
Is the food? They're just too good. I don't understand.
What's the point.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
It has some primanny wings yesterday and you know they're
really good.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Yeah, but you could do worse than wings. You know,
the sandwich might be a problem, but you know it.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Was the French fries that probably were. They're so good.
So so there's that Lavarlex Fudley, you look ashamed of
yourself when you admit it.
Speaker 5 (20:33):
I can't say I'm seriously he does this? Why are
you so down about it?
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Because I wish I could be better?
Speaker 8 (20:42):
Man?
Speaker 2 (20:44):
And it doesn't help when you're sitting at at a
at a restaurant and a bunch of college people are
continuously walking by to the gym. Yeah yeah, and even
the ones that aren't hitting to the gym look like
they go onto the gym or will eventually go to
the gym. And then you start to realize that not
(21:07):
just the gray facial here is the dig giveaway that
you're an old man sitting on a campus at a restaurant,
but that your your pot belly is really a firm
indication of it is as well, Wow, you're eating wings
(21:28):
and French fries.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
But your face is on the wall.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
At that when I had the bodies they have walking by,
this one frat dude walked by. He looked at me
as like, hey, hey, hey, yo sticks. I said, with
my fat ass. He was yoked up, yoked up his
(21:56):
a yo sticks. It's like, dang, I bet you you
have a really good time. Atter fact, you know, well,
guys pulling up in their Broncos, nice cars. They drive
really nice cars these days too. By the way, I
don't know, man to life has changed, bro. Culture, society
(22:20):
has changed. Bro. I don't know. But I felt really old.
I felt really old and I am. I mean, I
was sitting there with my daughter. Go figure. My daughter
is more popular than I am. Like we were sitting
there and way more people, you know, recognized and talked
(22:40):
to her than me. So it's pretty cool. He's the daddy.
I am the daddy. Sure is just a little difficult,
you know, kind of you know, grasping it.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
All and Now let me ask you that are you
going to be out and about when Michael Parsons is
being featured on Thursday Night Football on tonight in State College,
You're going to be out and about as they celebrate,
you know, game number two for Micah with the Green
Bay Packers.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
I think he's going to play. I think he's going
to play really well tonight. He's familiar with Washington and
there should be that should be an added bonus while
he's still trying to adjust and adapt to his new surroundings.
I still think that's a thing. Becoming comfortable with your surroundings,
(23:33):
your locker, you know, moving around, like the different smells
of the building, the different people, like there's a sense
of comfort and really like routine, Like players are routine driven,
and so you come through the door. It's a certain
(23:55):
certain way you park, There's a certain way you greet
the people when you get to the building. Your the
way your locker is the you build a relationship with,
you know, the staff, the equipment staff, they treat treat
you and treat your locker a certain way. The treatment people,
they treat you and handle things a certain way. In
(24:16):
the weight room, they everything is a process and you
create kind of a routine and now that's been disrupted.
And so I would think that going into this game,
there's going to be a level of comfort seeing a
team that he recognizes, and and it may, you know,
(24:37):
in his mind, it may trigger a level of like okay,
like let's get let's get to it, and this could
really be Like I know, people were excited the way
that he played last game. I thought he looked uncomfortable.
I thought he looked a little out of place, Like
it was the Green Bay Packers defense and Micah Parsons.
(24:57):
I thought the coverage of them was was so oversaturated
that if you understand the game, it made it very
obvious that he was not comfortable in the game. I
look for that to be different tonight. I look for
him to be more a part, more a cog, a
(25:19):
piece within the machine of the Green Bay defense, versus
it just being Mica out there doing something. So I'm
excited for him.
Speaker 6 (25:28):
That's actually a good good band name though, huh Michael
Parsons and the Packers, you know, huh, yeah, Michael Parsons
that you can figure out something else that cool to
have make a nice T shirt, you.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Know, I don't work one and the Packers.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
Now, Michaeh.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Parsons did talk a couple of days ago about he
advocated for more playing time in his thought process and
wanting to get out there as opposed to resting so
they don't push it too hard here he was.
Speaker 12 (25:55):
I told him, you know, the the day when they
were talking to me about the snapcowns like, I mean,
we can run gassers, we can be in practice and
you give me these plays. We can run to the ball.
But I was like, at the end of day, like,
you gotta let me push through some things. You gotta
let me, like you know, get tired and get war
out out there. That way I can become better and
get better from it. And you know, that's when it
was like, Okay, your reps can go up, like you
gotta really like sometimes you gotta fight for your own
(26:18):
right to play.
Speaker 7 (26:19):
So there was Michael Parsons.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
That's one hundred percent authentic too. That's Michael Parsons. Like
if if you're sitting on the couch right now, if
we're sitting on radio doing an interview right now, we're like,
you know what, we need to get some cardio in
right now. Let's go do a gaser, come back and
jump on the microphone. That's the type of person Micah is, like.
He takes on all challenges. He turns down no challenge,
(26:44):
So that is authentically him.
Speaker 5 (26:47):
All challenges. I mean, that's a slippery slope, pal.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
That I mean, And I've never seen somebody stop going
down the slippery slope to go back up. So I
don't know. I don't know that it's all challenges Q.
But competitively, speaking within the realm of reasoning, I would say, yeah,
those challenges. Yeah, I think green Bay is going to
(27:15):
be really, really good. Man. I'm excited about the game
because obviously Washington is a good team as well. They're
both undefeed it right now. It's going to be a
good game.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
I was just going to say that outside of Philly,
these are two teams that you're like, well, that could
be a problem too, like like in the NFC as
far as that goes, because green Bay looked like that's
a team that's going to go far. Like maybe you
know some of these results you're not really sure about
after week one, but I think I think Brady might
have mentioned this. You looked at the Packers and it
(27:45):
was like, if you had the Packers going far before
the season with your picks, you saw Week one and
we're like, all right, I was on the right side
of that.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
That's what it.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
Felt, you're Pete priscoing, Yes, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
I mean right.
Speaker 6 (27:57):
I would just say this, I think this is a
playoff preview. That's what this is. Both these teams have
high expectations they should be playing in the playoffs. You
get a little bit of a sample or a taste
of what it looks like now. But you know, I
think Washington has obviously an incredibly bright future with Jane
Daniels and the rest of some of the pieces on
that team to continue to grow together. But also Micah
(28:19):
in this defense and what it's gonna look like now
is gonna be drastically different than what it looks like
at the end of the season or even once they
get into the playoffs and these two teams square off again.
Speaker 5 (28:27):
So that's all I'm excited about.
Speaker 6 (28:29):
Is, you know, there's different I'm not sure if we
were talking about it yesterday, but.
Speaker 5 (28:35):
It just it feels like there's like tiers now in
the NFL.
Speaker 6 (28:40):
We see it in college football with some of the
top teams in the power for conferences or even on
the big ten sec if we're being honest, and then
you see like some of the other other teams like, oh,
there's a separation between them.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
It feels like that the NFL now too. And this
is one of those games where if you.
Speaker 6 (28:55):
Look at the NFC picture, these are two of the
best teams and it's gonna look differ, feel different than
other Thursday night football games. We get with with two
lesser teams.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
If you will, you guys ready for impromptu game show
time here on the show. All right, it's a little
two pros and a cump of Joe improvement music. What
do you mean we have a studio band?
Speaker 7 (29:16):
Of course we do.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Please come on, man, they're throwing out money for stream
Yard Premium Plus or whatever it's called. We've got a
live studio band that we're paying to perform here.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
So here is some music listens to while he's drinking.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Well, he's brushed his teeth with jin So here we go.
This is an impromptu game show time here.
Speaker 7 (29:41):
On the show.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
Can you name the NFL team that Micah Parsons has
the most career sacks against in his career in his
career most sacks against, which NFL team For Micha.
Speaker 5 (29:56):
Departments, it's got to be a divisional opponent, right, I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
It's the Commanders, all right, Brady, who you got?
Speaker 6 (30:07):
Well, I mean, I'm figuring you're asking the questions, so
he's probably right, but I'm not gonna copy.
Speaker 5 (30:13):
So I'm gonna say that.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
This obvious thought.
Speaker 5 (30:15):
You know it can't Ben s New York Giants.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Oh, I'll go with Eagles, all right, And the winner
is lav Arrington.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
LeVar Arrington, congratulations, you are the winner.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
This.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
Well, it's by it's by a large. It's by a large.
Speaker 6 (30:36):
You were the first to respond, so you won.
Speaker 5 (30:39):
You know this, Lee, Lee Shirley didn't.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
Win Michah Parsons in his career ten and a half
sacks against the Washington Commanders. Next up on that list,
interestingly enough, is not a division team from the East.
It's actually the Carolina Panthers. He's got five and a
half against Carolina Panthers. Uh, the Giants he's got four
and a half against, and the Eagles it's five. So
(31:02):
the Commanders, by a large margin, are the team that
he's had the most success against. So to Levar's point,
he's catching him on a short week. They're gonna probably
you know, maybe you know, up his playing time a
little bit here. But if history would tell us anything,
it said he's gonna have a hell of a game
coming up later on tonight.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
So if you, Jade and Daniels look.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Forward to that, which all that did was put a
smile on Lee's face, because if he's gonna go with
the Micah Parsons gets a sack, I get a drink,
History would tell us Lee's gonna have cirrhosis by about
the third quarter.
Speaker 4 (31:36):
So I'm going for two two sacks at least.
Speaker 5 (31:39):
He's Libois.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
He's most effective when quarterbacks are on the move. You know,
he's a grinder like he'll he'll push through you know,
heavy blocks. I mean, watching him and Sewell go at
it was was pretty cool. But grind out games like
run games, run heavy games, that's not really that's not
(32:06):
him being at the best of what it is that
he can do. It's when guys get to move in
outside in the passing game where they leave the pocket.
Different things like that, or an extended amount of time
of holding the ball where he has an opportunity to operate, which,
by the way, which gets overshadowed all of a sudden
(32:26):
by all of this. Gary on the other side is
a menace. I don't know if people pay attention to
Rashard at Gary, but let me tell you something, dude
is a bona fide pass rush, defensive end beast. So
(32:47):
he's someone that guy should be paying attention to as well.
And like all the reports have said, if they're going
to die on the hill of putting two and three
guys on Micah Parsons to prevent him from having the
ability to get to Jade and Daniels and create that
(33:10):
disruptive flow of the game, then there's gonna be two
or three other guys that have one on ones or
may even come free depending on how they scheme up
the game. So there is that idea and that aspect
of looking at it that even if Mica isn't getting
the sack, that this defense will be effective and being
(33:33):
able to flush Jaydon Daniels out, make Jaydeon Daniels move,
which he's comfortable doing. But it's going to be fun
to watch because Jaydon Daniels is very very good on
the move. He is able to deliver the ball and
he is able to run the ball, so it should
be a fun game to watch, but make sure you're
watching Gary on the other side as well. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (33:55):
I think the thing that when I initially heard the
trade that I thought, because obviously we're saying he's solid
and he's done a good job there, is it allows
them to not have to.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
Pressure as much.
Speaker 6 (34:06):
It allows them to, versus a quarterback who can run
like Jade and Daniels, you know, be able to play
more man coverage. And the reason why I say that
is because you have two guys who can get to
him or pressure him, and then you don't have to
devote a guy to necessarily drop back or spy. There's
just there's a lot of different things that when you're
game planning for.
Speaker 5 (34:23):
Washington you have to be aware of.
Speaker 6 (34:26):
With Jane Daniels, because he is so dynamic running the
football or even on a pass play, you have to
account for him taking off and running and having two
guys that are that good at pass rushing, it allows
you to then be able to say we don't have
to bring a fifth player, we don't have to bring
a sixth player. We can put those guys in coverage
(34:46):
we can put those guys as a whole player.
Speaker 5 (34:48):
Who are waiting for him. There's so many different things
you do.
Speaker 6 (34:51):
Hell, you can rush three and probably get a lot
of pressure or eventually have one of those two guys
get to him, because half the time Michael parts is
staking double teams anyway, and even if you're double team
or Shawn Geartt, those guys are used to that, they'll
split it every once in a while. You give them
enough time to rush, they'll eventually get there. You'd put
aiden coverage, let those two go after it like they'll
(35:12):
eventually get there. So it really frees up a lot
of what their their defense can do, and especially when
you have a quarterback, it's a duel threat, like Jane Daniels.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
Did you guys hear the shade that they threw out
at Michael Parsons? Though? The team who did they play
first game? Who did you hear how they were saying
that they were glad that the defensive tackle that went
to to Dallar. They Yeah, they were more excited that
(35:44):
he was leaving rather than the fact that they were
nervous that that Michael Parsons was coming in. Did you
hear the the broadcasters, you know, high like that. I
thought that was pretty interesting to think that. I think
they said a couple of the coaches or whatever from
Detroit basically highlighted that they were happier that dude was
(36:07):
leaving rather than Michael Parson's coming in, which I think
is preposterous, But that that seemed a little bit shady.
You know, that's a little shade.
Speaker 5 (36:16):
Dallas Cowboys were saying that.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Yeah, I mean they were saying it too, but they
were saying it during the game that Detroit Detroit. Detroit
coaches were basically saying that they were happy that Clark
was gone, so not not taking into consideration. You you
you got rid of uh, you know, you got rid
(36:40):
of a goony, but you brought in a goblin. You know,
that's a I don't know, man, that's some that's some
bulletin board material. I meant to bring that up too.
I don't know why I didn't bring that up, but
I thought that was pretty interesting that they were more
they were happier about that. But I'm I'm with you
if I don't have to bring pressures. And that was
(37:03):
one of the coolest things as a coach, if you
could scheme up a team where you could get the
pro the pressure without having to add extra people into
the scenario. If I'm just gaming with the guys up front,
I have more guys in the back end to be
able to play defense, and you should be effective more
effective against the offense in total, if you're able to
(37:27):
get pressures off of four and three man you know,
three man fronts.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
So in fairness, you were going to bring that up
earlier in the week, but you're saying, we're fixing your
sink during one of the breaks because he had an
issue there, so I was fixing my think, So.
Speaker 5 (37:41):
That's I think you're a handy guy, you know I am.
Speaker 6 (37:44):
I'm just saying that I will reach out to big
brother LeVar and he'll tell me exactly what I need
to do, just to make sure I get things turned
back on.

for a Dolphins fan to reach his goal on GoFundMe
of nine hundred dollars. He has chartered a plane to
fly a banner over the stadium this coming this upcoming
weekend with a banner reading fire Greer Fire McDaniel. In
his GoFundMe, he says, I understand asking for you to
(39:53):
donate money to fly banner asking for someone to be
fired may feel mean, but please think of Tua.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
And his family.
Speaker 4 (39:59):
Uh talks about you in racial trouble.
Speaker 10 (40:00):
But yes, he has raised over eight hundred to nine
hundred dollars to fly this banner.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
How much did it cost?
Speaker 2 (40:05):
Again?
Speaker 10 (40:05):
It costs eight hundred, but he made a gofundmet that
has actually raised seventeen hundred and seventy five dollars as
I read it.
Speaker 4 (40:11):
Now, so a tip for the pilot as well too.
Speaker 7 (40:14):
There you go, that's pretty cool.
Speaker 5 (40:17):
I mean we're one game into this season.
Speaker 6 (40:20):
Do you know there's been a team that's lost in
Week one by double jays and made the playoffs like
the last three or four years.
Speaker 5 (40:26):
Maybe it's the Dolphins.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
Just say
