Speaker 3 (02:15):
Good morning, good morning morning, What a what a great
weekend like of sports? Just all at all?

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
I mean I won't won't talk Ryder Cup hopefully a
little bit, but I mean things seem bleak, and then
Sunday it got really interesting. Great football was awesome, college NFL,
great weekend baseball had some teams. Uh, you know, take
your break spots.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Yeah, the uh, you're gonna have to explain what the
hell the chaos was at the Ryder Cup. Uh, and
walk everybody through it, because that I just assumed it
was over and apparently it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
So trying to keep up with that.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
I would say this, though, you kind of got the sense,
after seeing Virginia Florida State on Friday night and the
way those fans ran on the field, that it was
going to be a little bit of a wild weekend
in the world of college football.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I had visions of that taking place in state college.
No such thing would take place, though. What happened, Uh, well,
our fans instead were shocked and stunned, and well we
walked out the regular exits.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Well, well, let's talk about it.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
We don't have to talk about it. I mean, everybody.
It was the college weekend. I don't think it was
the best game. I thought, name a better one, probably
the Georgia Alabama game.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
No chance, How was it better?

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Well, because I felt like it was an upset, you know,
like that was the Florida State Virginia game. That was
probably a better game.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
I mean, I know it was the day before Orgon
winning was upset. It was just an upset too, and
they went at the white out.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Yeah, it was disappointing. It was double overtiming. I mean,
there was some drama that played out, you know.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I thought, once you got no overtime, Pennstale was gonna win.
And it just felt like, really I thought.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
When when the when the fumble got called back, I
was like, here it go, here we go here it is.
This is my life, this this is my reality. And
I thought about you too, Like on God, that was like,
why in that moment would you guys be the ones
I thought about?

Speaker 5 (04:39):
First?

Speaker 4 (04:39):
I could have thought about my kid, I could have
thought about my life and in general, I could have
thought about so many different people and different things in
my life at.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
That moment and the moment they called it back.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
I was like mother f and Brady and Jonas, I
know what I'm gonna have to deal with on Monday,
and you know whatever, man mother efforts and I was
saying it out loud.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
I was turning around kids.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Tris told me when I made a kid crack as
I said, mother effort too many times and I just
lost myself in that moment.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
I didn't, you know.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
And then I came back and then it was all right.
I was okay, it was okay. Yesterday was a healing
day for me. I didn't I didn't live in it.
I didn't sulk in it. Still a lot of football
to be played, and.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
You know, so you can go from there the scene one.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Where where does that stack up with the whiteouts you've
been a part of, you know, other than this show.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Yeah, this white out is is pretty consistent. You know,
it brings it every day, you know. I guess in
comparison to the show and other white outs that I've
been a part of. The scene was was really really dope.
But I think I've been to a more electric white

(06:02):
out before, like it A lot of it was really really.

Speaker 6 (06:09):
It was.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
It was great, but I felt like it wasn't It
wasn't the best. I didn't feel like it was the
best in terms of like it being loud and crazy.
I feel like, I don't know, I feel like I've
been to a better one before. So that's just kind
of where, you know, kind of where I was at

(06:31):
with it. But nonetheless, I mean that's just me probably
splitting hairs. Because the environment was electric, the weather was amazing,
The stage was set for there to be a you know,
a game, and so and it happened. It took place.

(06:51):
I mean, there was a game and they played. And
give give Oregon credit. I mean, they came into a
that's all that was a hostile environment to come ment was.
It was an overwhelming amount of energy that that was
in favor of Penn State, and they were able to
they were able to operate and do what they needed

(07:14):
to do, so you know, give them credit.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
It's interesting because, you know, Dan Lanning made some comments
about the white out after the game. I thought the
flow of the game might be why you felt that way,
because Oregon, for the most part kind of you know,
it was a low scoring game initially, but then once
they jumped out to a lead, that kind of held
that for a while until like the comeback, which which
then then I thought, I mean again, I was at home,

(07:40):
so it was hard to tell, but just on TV,
it it felt like it started to get back into
that environment. That's why in overtime I was like, oh, like,
they're just going to steam roll them here, and especially
the way that like initial overtime series kind of went,
I was like, all right, like they're just gonna buoy
them and physically dominate them for for the next couple
overtime until like they break.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
But that's what they did to us.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Well, it kind of flipped.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
And I would say because our defense, I think they
we ran out of gas.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
You know. We we held that the.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
Score wasn't indicative of what type of game. It was
like our offense just didn't give us very much. And
the defense, they they were bending and not breaking. They
weren't dominating Oregon. They were not breaking, and and for

(08:36):
as many plays and as long as they had to
be out there, and then the three and outs that
kept taking place. I mean, I just thought that the
defense they played their hearts out, and they could have
been they could have been better, but I'm not I'm
not looking at it and saying to myself, man, like
come on, d like like y'all got a score, to

(08:59):
which they almost did and it got called back, which
I again I think was the difference in the game.
And I guess I saw video or a still shot.
Dude's knee was down, but you know that was to me,
that was the moment that we had the same type
of moment at Ohio State the one year and Curtis

(09:22):
Jacobs gets it, runs it for a touchdown. I believe
that would have been the difference in the game. We
would have grabbed. We needed a momentum shifter, and that
would have been it. And like I said, the first half,
I mean, you figure you come out of the first half,
it's three three, no matter what, no matter how you

(09:43):
chop it up or slice it up. Like I thought
Oregon was the better team in the first half. I mean,
I don't think it was hard. If you have eyes,
you could have saw that that Oregon was like if anything,
You're sitting there and you're like, dang Oregon, like you
only got three points in, You've done all of this.

(10:03):
It's three three going into halftime, and it's like, Okay,
what are we going to do? Adjustments wise, what are
we going to do to to be more you know,
explosive and prolific. I thought that we stayed committed to
what we wanted to do, which was try to run
the ball, and they just were not able to get

(10:24):
it going. I mean, I thought Taj had an amazing
game plan, like he was. He was overloading the line,
and they played well up front. I mean they were
they were defeating blockers one on one. They were overloading,
so somebody was coming free and they did not. They
suffocated the line, and our passing game did very little

(10:48):
to to anything to loosen that defense up, and and
they rode that. And we tried to continue to you know,
force the run, and it just it just didn't pan
out that way. But again, all in all, it still
was a close game. I mean, it wasn't like this
was a blowout. It wasn't like, you know, I came

(11:11):
away from the game feeling as though, like we're not
what we needed to be. I think that it's said
I feel for Drew. You know obviously that that can't
do anything to help his stock raise. So I think that,
you know, that's a you know, if the assessment was
coming out of the game, drew Aler maybe hurt himself,

(11:33):
you know, status wise, or you know, in terms of
what he is as a quarterback. I get it, I
feel I feel for him. But there's still a lot,
you know, I talked to a lot of the guys
after the game. There's still a lot of football to
be played. Watch the you know, watch the film on
the game, and and try to figure out how you
can be better, you know, moving forward. So it took

(11:56):
two overtimes for there to be a victor to be decided.
It so I don't think there should be any shame
or any any you know, hard feelings towards it.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Just just be better.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Next time you mentioned obviously, Dan Lanning, he spoke afterwards,
had nothing but great things to say about the environment
and obviously the huge home field advantage that Penn State had.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
This is this is a huge growth moment for our
entire team, right because you know that that crowd is
probably worth seven points, right, and they really weren't tonight,
Like I didn't feel that. You know, the only time
we beat ourselves is when we beat ourselves, right, The
only time that we really struggled when we beat ourselves,
and it was gonna be a bad We had.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
To figure out what worked.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
But they handled this environment and it ended up being
not a factor for our team, even though like that's
why you play college football. That environment was unbelievable.

Speaker 5 (12:43):
Jeez, I think it was accurate. That's a it's an
accurate assessment. They did not. They did not.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
It did not look as though they were impacted or
affected at all. So good for them.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Yeah, noon or primetime doesn't matter, I guess there. I
would say this, There was like three things that came
up that I thought were interesting. Targeting. You know, there
was a hit in that game, and granted it happened
to be on some Penn State players, but generally speaking,
this isn't like a like looking at Penn State or Organ.
They do need to create a rule where there's targeting,

(13:22):
but they're not ejected because like there's too many times
where like we see a play that happens and you're going,
all right, like was the player in this particular case,
I can't remember which Organ receiver was, but he caught
the ball. It was a tight window. You know, you
could have made the case he wasn't quite a runner yet.

(13:42):
And then when you looked at the hit, you looked
at the Penn State defender and said, well, it's not
the exact top of his helmet, but it's pretty darn close.
And and I just look at it and say, like,
what are we trying to accomplish with the targeting rule.
It's obviously for injury prevention for both the offensive player
and defensive player. However, there's too many times we see

(14:04):
these hits and you go, oh, man, that looks like
it should be, but the way the rules written, it's
not going to be. And and that where that's where
I feel like we're losing, Like we're losing in the
sport of college football, where I think the NFL somehow
has has kind of created an environment that's better for this,
Like we kind of know, and that's a personal fouer.
We know, you know when it's when when a player

(14:27):
is defenseless when they're not, it just it feels different.
It feels like because you only need one foot down,
you only need one foot in bounds on a receiver,
that the whole timing element of a you know, receiver
catching the football being considered defenseless like that that speeds up,
you know what I'm saying, because now they catch the football,

(14:47):
they got a foot down, they had a second foot down.
That hit comes You're like, well, they got a second
foot down, they established possession, they became a runner, they're
no longer defenseless. And meanwhile, we watch in the NFL,
We're like, yeah, that's the like, that's still establishing possession.
So that's going to be a personal foul. So that
was one thing that came from the game that when

(15:07):
watching all of that, I thought, man, like, there really
does need to be a rule fort targeting where the
player doesn't get ejected, but there's a penalty that comes
along with it because it falls within the guidelines of
that you know you mentioned the Aller you know, draft
Stock combination. The touchdown pass might have been the best
ball he's ever thrown, and that was just a beautiful,

(15:28):
beautiful pass, beautiful throw. I came away like this. I
came away thinking like, didn't love the game plan, Like
didn't love the game plan by Andy Kotoiniki. But I
always feel that way when I watched penn State versus
Ohio State, or Pennas State versus any of the teams
like Michigan and who they struggle to beat. I always

(15:49):
walk away thinking like, all right, everyone wants to like
put this on James Franklin and this is his record.
How much is he a part of the offensive game plan?
It always feels so vanilla. I mean, granted, when they
started to come back, there was some creativity. There are
some things that came into play. They're like, all right,
now they'll kind of bring out their bag. But that

(16:11):
first half I'm like, dude, if you can't trust d Rowler,
like now, then when are you going to I just
I always come back like, well, I just And then
so it led me to think, like, all right, is
it Drowler? Is it? Is it Andy Kotikki? Is it
James Franklin? I mean eventually after a while and I

(16:32):
keep saying, like the offense, the offense, the offense, I'm like, well,
there's a common denominator to all of it. It's yeah,
well it's it's Franklin. And then you go, well, Al's
been a part of it too, So I don't know,
it's tough. There's a lot of football left he.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
Played before him, though, That's the only thing.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Well, and that's the other thing, is like when you
go back through the fact that I don't think they've
won or upset a top ten team since why twenty sixteen. Yeah,
during the regular season at twenty sixteen. Yeah, like I
didn't have kids, like my entire like one of the
like Urban said this, Urban said this on the set.
He goes simpler, he goes, I don't true, he goes,

(17:14):
I don't feel like it's the same when Ohio State
and Michigan lose compared to Penn State. And I kind
of said, no, I don't buy that. What I think
has happened now is they've become conditioned to not react
the way Ohio State and Michigan have because it's been
so long since they've had that game, Like it's almost

(17:34):
been a decade since they've had that upset. And I
kind of sit there and just go like, yeah, I
get that because again, like literally I didn't have a
I didn't have a family. I was married, you know,
it just gotten you know, married and all that, but like,
didn't have kids, didn't have My entire perspective on life
was different back then. And so yeah, when it's been
that long, you kind of look back and go, I

(17:55):
could see how the fan base would almost be conditioned
to be disappointed and that's.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
A terrible custom or even expected like because there was
just like this, and maybe that was why I didn't
feel like you guys asked was it electric? Why maybe
it didn't feel as electric. It's almost like.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
You're waiting for something bad to happen.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
You're waiting for something bad.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
I swear to God, growing up a Cubs fan, that
was life.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
You just assumed all and then and then when they
get when they trail, when they were before they finally
won the World Series, when they trailed in a playoff
game at home, that place turned into a morgue. Wrigley
Field turned it because they just assumed, oh, here we
go again, like there's got to be something to that,
and you got this, you got there's got to be
a sense of that in the stadium.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
It's hard.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
It's hard to say what I'm going to say right
now because I'm so close with Coach Franklin and I
love our program. But if I'm being totally totally in
my job and being an analyst and just giving a
break down of it, I would say the epiphany I

(19:04):
had when I was watching the game was when we
got down, when when Oregon scored and it was like
oh oh, this is now a two this is now
a two possession game, and we are in a desperate time.
They opened offense up and we scored, Like and when

(19:27):
I tell you, we scored, and I don't want to
say it was easy, but it wasn't hard. It wasn't
hard to go down the field. And the ball that
you were talking about that Drew Ailer delivered and we scored.
I was like, oh, you know, yeah, I'm sitting there
and I'm in my mind like if we played with

(19:47):
that sense of desperation, like, oh, this is getting away
from us, we got we gotta score, and we gotta
score now. And they did and it was in the
air and it was down the field. If you watch
our games, we do not stress defenses out enough, especially

(20:10):
in big games. And and for what it's worth, the
one common denominator has been coached. And and I don't
you know this is that's hard for me to say
because I love James Franklin. I don't just like James.
I love James Franklin, but I think I think he
has to be okay with losing the game being aggressive

(20:35):
versus losing the game with the formula of we're gonna
play We're gonna we're gonna stay within our scheme of
we're going to establish the run and we're gonna pepper
on what passes and we're gonna play defense.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
It's got it.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Let him sling the football. One of the things I
kept saying, and not honestly like this is part of
like our big new crew, like group text Pennstina invested
in the receivers, right, They brought in Trevor Pania. You know,
they brought in Ross, they brought in Hudson, and it
just never feels like you're like, dude, you invested in
all these kids, and yet you're not gonna try to
air this thing out. And if there's two weaknesses of

(21:14):
Oregon's secondary, their secondaries have been an experience even though
they're talented, Okay, there's a bit of an experience there,
so you could test them more. And then look, they
struggled to stop the run. You know, they gave up
you know, four yards of carry. That wasn't too bad
versus Penn State. I think, all things considered, because that's
a really good you know, O line and Tanema backs.

(21:34):
But I sit there and just go, what do you
have lose, Like what do you got to lose? Like,
let your quarterback, who I'm sure is being compensated Hansen
Lely by the way, let him sling it around, spread
it out, go to empty, just take a series like like,
I'll be honest, it's the most frustrating thing in the
world at the college level. And I'm not like trying
to go back to my days and say like you know,

(21:55):
YadA YadA YadA. But you know when Charlie Weits got
them my junior senior year, like he really kind of
anointed me to kind of just be like, yeah, you go, audible,
do like do all this stuff. It is crazy to
me how much they handcuff these kids. And these kids
are as talented as ever, like their ability to make throws,
their ability Like I look at I mean not to

(22:15):
use notre name as example, but CJ. Carr, he's a
redshirt freshman. The kid can absolutely dice up a defense.
He's played phenomenal. I think he's second in the country
and like quarterback rating right now. And you look at
like Dante Moore, like you know, obviously the young man
who's playing an organ. He's a red shirt sophomore, super
super talented kid, Like they're all capable of doing this stuff.

(22:35):
Like you said that with Drew Allerry, You're like, oh,
he knows the game. Like stop like putting like a
caboose where they feel like they're you're dragging these kids down.
Like let these kids sling it around with it. Twenty
five pass attempts, that's it. Like twenty five pass attempts
for a game that win in double overtime. I just
I don't know, man, that it bothers me. Like in

(22:56):
a dan age when we look at the NFL and
we're like, oh, yeah, like a quarter back matchups, you
talk about that all the time. You know, those guys
are gonna do whatever.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
It takes to win.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
In college. For some reason, these head coaches they don't
want to put the ball completely in the quarterback's hands.
I don't understand why. Like they are ready for it.
A lot of these guys are draft eligible and they're
ready for it. Let them go show you, like, let
them prove it to you.

Speaker 5 (23:20):
And lose it. You know, lose if it doesn't work,
you lost.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
But god dang it, when he threw that ball and
we scored that touchdown, I was like, my guy, that
was like they like there.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
Was life, like whoa, we went downfield?

Speaker 7 (23:40):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (23:41):
Like I don't know.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
And then when it worked, it was like why not
try this that? Like the defense has got to play
defense regardless. Like I can understand controlling the line of scrimmage,
controlling the time of possession, limiting your opponent. I get,
I get the game plan, I get the thigh process.
I just for me, I was just like, dang, like

(24:04):
this is the white out, this is this is a
year where we got such such high expectations. Just let
it go, like and if you if it worked, it worked.
If it didn't, at least at the least you could
go into the press conference you can had a conversation
and be like, hey, look we let it all hang

(24:24):
out and we didn't get it done. Like I just
felt like it was like, hey, established a run. We
got two of the best in the game, established a run.
If it doesn't work, kick the ball, play defense it.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
That's what it felt like, I'm gonna go that far.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
What's that my missionary style? Just feel like all right,
same same game plan, and we're going to you know,
keep it, keep it to keep it on your back,
keep it, keep it on your back. One thing we
do need to acknowledge the ending of game with you

(25:00):
up there. That was pretty cool watching that stealing the
stick city ale like sitting outside of your That was awesome.
That was that was a cool moment.

Speaker 5 (25:09):
I was.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
I was glad you got to experience that or a
part of that that looked cool.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:12):
I didn't know that that imagine if won.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
I didn't know that people actually got to drink that beer.
Because we've been hearing about it for a while and
good to see other.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
People get it.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
It's sold in Pennsylvania. Bro Okay, Well, so I'm gonna
get y'all package. I told you, I'm gonna get y'all

(28:17):
Com the way tire buying should be. We are going
to have another edition of In Case you mystic coming
up here in about twelve minutes from now. The return
of Micah Parsons to Dallas last night and we get
a damn tie. What the aff Green Bay deserved to
lose any time. They deserve to lose that game with
that clock management at the end in regulation and in overtime,

(28:40):
just ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
It was a game, you know, it was a game,
And I mean Dak Prescott showed up, Jordan Love showed up.
They were slicing and dicing. They played some football. I
don't I don't know. I don't know where the defense
is where. I thought that there would have been more
defense in the game, especially for Green Bay. I thought

(29:06):
that they had a distinctive advantage hitting into this one,
just because you don't have Cede Lamb in the game.
But I mean Pickings stepped it up for him, made
some big plays for him. Their defense they played well, yeah,
he did he did, but he had some big moments
for him. I mean, he had some big catches like
at at good times from so deterbined listen, I think

(29:28):
Dak Prescott and give credit to Schottenheimer. I mean, I
haven't seen this offense not look prolific since the season started. Now,
they didn't have the greatest of records. They still don't
have a great record right now was one two and one.
It's not a great record, but it isn't because of

(29:52):
the offense isn't isn't doing what it needs to do.
So you know, if the defense can find a way
to be better, Dallas could be an interesting team to
watch as the season continues on.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
I think the one thing that stands out to me
is I think Green Bailey had one sack. You know,
so as much as I mean it kind of plays
to Jerry Jones point, like as much as you miss that,
you know, presence of Micah Parsons schematically what he can
do Cowboys, I think had a sack, you know, Green
band a sack and DAWs about it like it was.

(30:29):
And by the way, Dallas's front did a decent job
getting a pass rush too, So I felt like watching
it even though Parsons is clearly the best edge rusher
on the field. You know, the impact that it had
wasn't as big of a mismatch as I thought it
was going to be going into it. And obviously, but
by the way the game ended, you know, it's gonna

(30:50):
kind of take it away and just go all right.
You know, maybe that trade, which I thought there would be,
you know, definitively in the hands of Green Bay as
far as winning that trade, maybe what Dallas does with
the assets they get back in return, and you know,
looking at them in the long term, I mean, they're
gonna be all right. You know, maybe they're not gonna
need him quite as much as I thought they were
gonna need him. Looking at how last night's game win.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
Yeah, I think we all owe Jerry Jones an apology.
Dallas won that trade clearly based on what we saw
last night.

Speaker 5 (31:20):
So how do you figure that that's a pretty like
that's a harsh conclusion.

Speaker 4 (31:26):
I mean, you could what Q said doesn't have to
be like that's correct, Like I could see the logic
in that, But that doesn't mean that Dallas won the
trade situation. I mean, he's clearly made their defense better
and he was literally centimeters away from causing a fumble

(31:50):
or getting a sack. Other guys were clearly very close
to getting sacks. They pressured Dak Prescott. He's made this team,
this green Bay Packers team, a much formidable, formidable defense.
So I don't know that it's necessarily like I look
at Green Bay and I think that Green Bay is

(32:11):
a dangerous team. I've just recently maybe feel comfortable saying
that Dallas is better than what that what I thought
they would be.

Speaker 5 (32:21):
But I don't think it's moved the need on saying that.

Speaker 4 (32:24):
I look at Dalla Dallas as the as the league
dog in the NFC East, and is hitting in a
direction where they're they're truly a formidable opponent. Like, I
don't think that they necessarily won. They did not become
a better team when they got rid of Michael Parsons.

(32:47):
How do we how does that game play out? If
Michael Parsons is on Dallas's side of the ball, Maybe
a play happens that that dictates or determines the outcome
of the game. That's I don't know that it's necessarily
an easy thing to say, Oh, Dallas won the trade,
Like Nah I think that's irresponsible to say that.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
I mean, based on the score, we know that on
either side he would have given up forty points on defense, and.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
We know that, so I don't know.

Speaker 4 (33:12):
Again, I don't know that to necessarily be true. He's
not he wasn't on Dallas's side last night. He's not
in Dallas's scheme. I think he's still trying to get
to where he needs to be. He's dealing with his back.
I mean, obviously he was going in and out his back.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
It's fine.

Speaker 4 (33:28):
Doctor doctor said he needs a backyotomy said his back
was broken. But I think once he gets a little
bit healthier, if he is able to get yeah, if
he could get healthier during the season, he'll he'll have
an even more of an impact. So it's just a
wait and see type of deal. But I don't think
that Dallas did not win the battle of the trade.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
Like I broke my back.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
Yeah, the most dominant player on the field last night
was Kenny Clark by a mile.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
Well, I'm not buying it that considering my bay rushed.
So that's the That was the one definitive thing I'd say.
If you want to make a case for why Green
Bay won it's because Dallas was not good against the
run last night. And that was the whole commentary from
Jerry Jones following the Traders, Oh we got better against
the run, Like all right, well you just gave up
about over one hundred and sixty yards last time.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
But imagine how much worse it would have been had
Kenny Clark and not been there, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
I don't think that's making a case, and you sound
like a Penn stater. So there, imagine if we had
thrown the ball all game, you know, more aggressive than
the past.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
I get it.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
It's the what ifs that that always will plague you
because in your mind you really believe it.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
By the way, in all seriousness, Green Bay almost lost
that game because of whatever they were trying to do
in overtime, Like they were like, if that ball just bounced,
is you know, half a yard to the left or right.
There's not a second left on the clock, and they
lose on whatever the hell they were trying to accomplish there.

(35:10):
And I don't know if it's because Brandon Aubrey's on
the other side and that guy can hit seventy yarders
and they're like well, we don't want to take any chances.
But what the hell was that? I don't understand what
they were planning. I didn't understand what they were doing
at the end of the regulation. It just it didn't
make any sense to me, and they nearly lost that
game because of it. So instead we get a damn tie?

Speaker 1 (35:32):
What a bummer?

Speaker 5 (35:34):
So bad?

Speaker 3 (35:35):
I mean, I don't I'm so tired of this. Can
we not just implement some sort of rules, some way
of figuring this out? It's stupid?

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Yeah, yeah, it's not great.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
Am I only what it feels that way?

Speaker 4 (35:47):
No?

Speaker 3 (35:48):
Do you guys like ties?

Speaker 2 (35:49):
No?

Speaker 5 (35:49):
I don't. I do not. It was a bit of a.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
Cherry on top of my disappointing, disappointing weekend. How was
it that you guys can hear my throat? Is I
got the the I got the Brady Quinn throat right now?

Speaker 5 (36:07):
That I do?

Speaker 4 (36:08):
Bro, I can't. I can't get my octave above where
it's at right now. I can't like my voice wants
to go, it really does.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
So there's a lot of street hang on, you gotta go.

Speaker 5 (36:23):
Yeah. From the diaphragm, it sounds like I'm sitting in
the bathroom so I.

Speaker 3 (36:33):
Give you give me one more.

Speaker 5 (36:34):
Though we are we are, We're always we are. Now
I tell people you, yeah, we are. And then somebody, by.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
The way, we don't have all good.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
We don't have time for it now, but I'll bet
people in State College got butchered on Saturday that.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
We had a good time. Now we ain't gonna not
party because we lost. Definitely got it in.

Speaker 5 (39:08):

He went to Damn, damn, what an opportunity.

Speaker 8 (39:25):
Damn it.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
I tried, well, look, I don't want to get into
politics of all this, but when we went out there Jonas,
there's I had some late nights and we were actually
staying like the other side of town, So I had
some definitely some late night like strolls back to the hotel,
and there's some characters out and I'll say that there
are definitely some folks out looking, uh looking for nothing good.

(39:51):
I'll put it that way. So I was fortunate enough
didn't have any issues. You know, maybe that's because I
you know, in those moments, you just got a little crazy,
you know, you take your shirt off, you just start
walking in the middle of the right, like, what's this
guy doing because.

Speaker 5 (40:04):
You just bark at me.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
