You should look it up, man, I mean yeah, oh,
Kevin de Oia?
Speaker 3 (01:33):
What is that? Kevin d o you drinking? Sure? Excuse me?
Do you know that's Kevin?
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:40):
The Cafeta Gofe.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Would you have to have some.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Six son of them?
Speaker 1 (01:48):
All right? You came in out today?
Speaker 3 (01:50):
You Yeah? Have you guys seen that Chris Farley? Skip, sure,
that's that's one of the best ever man.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
After the weekend and some of us are right in
high after.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
That's sad, Jonas, don't even that's sad.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
I really don't know what cafe is. I'm trying to
look it up. Mexican spice.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Have you seen the skid Jonas? Have you seen the
best of Chris Farley?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
I don't think I've seen that one. I don't know
how much TV have you seen, Jonas? Do you have
a TV? Somebody said your amish bro. Somebody did say,
you don't use that makes sense, you don't use you know, technologs, Lorana.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Have you seen the skit I'm talking about.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
No, but I haven't seen a lot of Chris Farley stuff.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
I know Ku probably has. And this is just sad.
This is really sad.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
I was with you, Q. I don't know why Jonas
wanted to out, you know.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Yeah, man, it's like it's literally worth watching during the break.
It's awesome. It's a great skit.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
What was the skit the giants were putting together?
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Oh, almost going to get you, almost going to get you,
almost going to get you.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Almost going to get you. I was going to get you,
almost going to get your almost going to get you.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
I don't know if it's almost gonna get you. I
mean that was an epic collapse. Your defense gives up
thirty three points in the fourth quarter, the most in
NFL history ever. I mean, this is what's cool about
a game like that is we have all those microphones
and like all this different sound that we're gonna get
(03:20):
like I don't know if it's a year from now
or ten years from now, we'll be like, hey, remember
that time the Giants absolutely collapsed and gave up thirty
three points, like nineteen nothing, gave up thirty three in
the fourth quarter.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Damn I watching it happen. I'm looking at going, all right,
twenty six, sixteen, okay? Had they get sixteen? And then
it was just they got the next one and Denver
takes the lead. And what makes it even worse is
that the Giants still somehow Someway figured out how to
(03:53):
get the lead back after that missed the extra point,
and then you knew it was just only a matter
of time they were gonna give it up, Like you
just knew. You watch it, like they literally gave away
that game twice in the fourth quarter, and not like hey,
chipping away in the third quarter and then you get
to the fourth quarter. No, it was in the fourth
(04:14):
quarter with not that much time left and they completely
melted down. That's a bad loss, man, It's really really bad.
Not that they were gonna be a playoff team or anything,
but it went from man, huge statement win, go on
the road beat the Broncos you got a rookie quarterback,
you got Camskataboo, there's like feel good vibe. They look good.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
I know it's not a good I'm with you on
it can't be considered a good loss. Like I get that,
I get that, the collapses epic, I get all of that.
But they were playing their asses off for three quarters, man,
and they looked good for three quarters. It was impressive
for three quarters. And for three quarters you sat there
(04:58):
and you said dang, like they were on a run.
And what I will say is, even though there isn't
a such thing as a great loss or good loss,
I will say that this is a different New York
Giants team that we're watching play. It's not the one
where we sat there and we say it is day
Ball going to be able to keep his job. I
(05:19):
don't think you walk away from that game saying that
he's not adequate enough to beat you think so.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
I think there's people who are very, very frustrated Giants
fans because they're thinking to theirselves, if this wasn't our coach,
we don't give up thirty three points in the fourth quarter,
we somehow win God dang.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
But if it's not your coach. You're not up about
that many to begin with. I know it was an
epic collapse.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I get it was a collapse, but this is not
First of all, they wouldn't have been able to put
that many points up before, not too long ago, not
too long ago, they wouldn't have been They made that way.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
That's because of Jackson Dart.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
All right, Well, I mean, I don't think that they
would have been able to put those points up with
Russell Wilson.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
I'm gonna say it.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
But that's the thing is they're not talking about They're
not talking about the coach the time, about the player.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Russell Wilson's not even in the vicinity of playing. All
I'm saying I can't get out of their All I'm
saying is this is a different team. It was a
different team. They were almost on a three game winning streak.
It came to an end and in a horrible manner.
But that horrible man or wasn't They were down thirty
three the whole entire game, and then went down thirty
(06:32):
three more.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
They were up, they gave it up. I get it,
But they were up by a lot and they collapsed.
It is what it is. I feel like that's correctly
correctle what it is? That one is? That one is
I mean you give us thirty three points. That's an
outlier to give up thirty three points in any given
quarter of a game. NFA, how it's.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Ever happen before.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
It's like usually you don't survive this right like that was,
but it was advanced Joseph when he was with the
Dolphins and gave up however many points to Baltimore, they fired.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
I think the end of the season, Like, I yeah,
I don't know about you.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
How do you overcome that? Though? Like, have you guys
been a part of a game where you gave up
a lead like that kind of anywhere close to that
kind of lead?
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Because I was a part of a game where we
came back, but not that big of a deficit.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Let me put it this way, like Dan Quinn and
the Atlanta Falcons, and I remember calling a game it's
probably a year or two after they had the twenty
eighty three collapse in the Super.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Bowl, and they did all these things to move on from.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
It, and I was like, I don't know if I think,
if you're being real, you don't try to move on
from it. You literally have to just recognize what it is,
bring in some sort of psychologists toward counselor, and just say, look,
we blew arguably the biggest lead in the Super Bowl ever, Like,
(08:06):
we collapsed. We made a mistake, however you want to
describe it, like, instead of just not talking about it
or trying to avoid it or saying that we're past
it so many times to convince yourself you are, instead
of going that route, just be like, no, actually, we
were gonna be motivated every single hour of every day
of the rest of our lives as NFL players and
(08:28):
coaches because we had the worst collapse in the Super
Bowl anyone's ever seen, and it's gonna get us to
get back there. But instead they took this different approach,
and the approach ultimately ended up leading to them like.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Having a lot of finger pointing in the front office.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
And then it eventually, you know, Kyle Shanahan becomes the
head coach in San Francisco and Matt Ryan never kind
of plays quite up to the level he did with Shanahan,
and you know, they end up moving on from Dan
Quinn and that's just how it ended up working out.
And obviously Dan Quinn's doing his thing with with Washington now,
But you know those moments, I don't.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
I don't feel like you move on from.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Like I think if you're real about it, like now,
it's like every damn to remind myself that we give
up thirty three points in the fourth quarter. If i'm
if I'm part of that defense, and like that's that's
part of our identity and until we rectify it, every
single Giants fan is gonna be like, oh, we're.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
We're up three scores in the fourth quarter, suite.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
I mean, we could always just give up thirty three
points and lose this game because every fan is gonna
think it, every single person, the media is gonna think it.
It's part of your identity now, So like I don't.
I don't think it's just like an outlier, like, ah,
that little guy. I don't worry about that little guy. Yeah,
we just gave up thirty three points, media, thirty three points.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
I just don't. I don't see that happening. I don't
see that no quarter, I get that part. I don't
see it happening again.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
We're really gonna do this.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
It's really not going to happen again.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
I know.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
It's not gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
It's more likely, to me and my estimation, it's more
likely for Philly to win a game, or a team
to win a game the way that they did with
that block field goal, picked up scoop score and win
the game than it is to see a team score
thirty three points in fourth quarter.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
But once is enough, Once is enough. You don't need
it to happen again. That's you do say demoralizing loss,
because yeah, you mentioned for three quarters, if you can
go on the road and win shut them out, yes,
for three quarters. If you can go on the road
and win at Denver against a team that a lot
of people think is the goods and going to be
a playoff team. Look, the conversation surrounding the direction of
(10:35):
the organization is completely different. Now you're looking around going
what the f was that?
Speaker 2 (10:41):
You can't say they took their foot off of the gas,
And it's like that track runner actually didn't.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
I mean they still scored points much they.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Did thirteen fourteen, I don't know, but they did.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
There's no other way to explain giving up it a large.
Speaker 4 (10:58):
Belief touchdowns in the fourth What are you gonna say
they took the foot off the gas.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Yes, this isn't This is a defensive collapse.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
This isn't the offense like dart through a terrible pick
that was part of it, kind of sparked it. But
outside of that, like, come on, man, Like, if your
offense is scoring a couple of touchdowns per quarter, that's
like way more than.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
The league offense. The nerve of you if your offense
isn't keeping their offense off of the field, are you
don't have to worry about them scoring.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
You're the only personall the offense.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Yeah, I'm way not the offense. Damn. Yeah, go get
a penalty flag. Yet do what you always do, get
bailed out, batter revs. They did actually did all right.
We Sean King got fifteen yards like they It was
there like every.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
This was a defensive collapse, LeVar, It's okay. You can't
lose see this any other way, are you?
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Guys?
Speaker 2 (11:55):
You can't give up elite like that and then not
be a team. A team deal, a team deal. It's
not one side at the ball.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
But they probably could have ran more time off the
clock on the touchdown that put him back up to
thirty two or whatever it was like on the dirt.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
You never convinced me that one side of the ball
was the reason why thirty three points of a deficit
was a race thirty two You'll never you'll you'll never
take I've never never You'll never convince me that that
was not a team effort. Sorry, you won't. What maybe
one side of the ball played a little bit more. Okay,
(12:33):
maybe they have a little bit more to blame, all right,
but no, but you need to tell me no.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Point in time.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
So at no point in time out of the one, two, three, four,
five possessions the Broncos had in the fourth quarter and
no point, you can just get one stop. I mean,
that's ultimately what they needed because their offense again scored
a couple of touchdowns like they did their part, and
no point of the five drives the Broncos had scoring
(13:00):
touchdowns of four of them could get a field go
on the fifth.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Are you serious? Like they couldn't even stop a couple
like a two point conversion in there somewhere.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
I am did serious team effort. Team effort. It takes
to lose that big of a deficit. It takes every
scene some way, somehow, even special teams had something to
do with it. All three phases of the game had
something to do with this two extra points. All three
phases of the game had something to do with it.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
I mean, Coop, who is producing today as mister Bronco fan?
And did you booze up while you were watching that game?
Were you about to Coop? Because you texted me that
you were stressed out? I think I lost like ten
years off my life watching that game.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Now, Coop, would you say it was a.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Defensive collapse or just team effort over there?
Speaker 5 (13:52):
Like?
Speaker 3 (13:53):
How do you say this?
Speaker 1 (13:54):
I would say it was mile high magic?
Speaker 4 (13:58):
Oh god, yeah, now I know you're high?
Speaker 3 (14:02):
All right?
Speaker 6 (14:10):
I heard that that was all bow and if and
if I'm high, it's it's I'm high off of bocaane.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Okay? Is that a thing they they roll with that?
Speaker 3 (14:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
All right? Snorts and bocane, that's right? Yeah? Why do
you have to snort it? Why couldn't he smoke it? Yes?
You could? You know if you wanted to? Which one
did you do, Coop? Snort or smoke?
Speaker 5 (14:34):
Damn?
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Well? I think if you who? I think if you
smoke it, then it's then it's more like I mean,
Loreno always jumps in on them moments. I mean, he does.
And yeah, it's just so funny. How many inn windows
you guys drop. I didn't drop, and you didn't you
(14:56):
dropped it? There was not one.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
I was just talking about a narcotic of some sort
being swallowed.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
That that was it. I mean, it was.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Up to you to to me. You could also not
jump in on it, you know.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
You know what because she jumped all the way into that. Yeah,
I know you're.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
Putting us an awkward spot. How are we supposed to act?
Speaker 1 (15:22):
That was a comeback from behind? Wait, hold on, it's
not me all right, Yeah, that's brutal. All right?
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Well, well, I mean I think that that's I can
settle in on agreeing with that.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
That's a brutal loss.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
That is a hell of a plane ride back home
after losing that type.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Of a game.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
Oh man, team loss.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
But I will say this.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I will say this, if I'm on that team and
we lost, I wish the offensive player would say some
some crap like that out of their mouth. I wish
they would gonna be moving, We're gonna be thumping on
the plane. Yeah, I wish I wish Brady quick will,
I wish he would walk up.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
On the second. The second.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
I didn't like kas laughing after we lost. I didn't
understand it. Yeah I laughed, but I don't know a
lot of people laugh after.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
This is one of those moments where I don't know,
maybe LeVar.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
And the defense didn't look in the mirror.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
But if you don't stand up in front of the
team and go like, that'll never happen again. No defense
is ever in the history any game ever giving up
thirty three points in the fourth quarter ever, And by
the way, wasn't like a pick six.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
You know, it wasn't like Jackson. It wasn't one of those.
It was a collapse, that's what it was.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
And by the way, if I'm not mistaken, the only
at the highest scoring quarter in NFL history belonged to
the Lions. I think they scored thirty four in a
quarterback in seven. So like this is history.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
You know, y'all be on y'all a out like acting
like that's your knowledge that you're going to just impart
upon the listening audience.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
No point defense, you have the mirror, and you know
that was the most pathetic.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Ever two thousand and seven. It was the Detroit lines.
And if your memory serves you correct. Get that out
of here before your memory serve you correctly, if your
eyes and your fingers serve you, if my ears served
me correctly.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Because I heard that from Steve de Sager last night.
I got that from all right, yeahs, who needs a
I when you got Steve Sager?
Speaker 2 (17:45):
I mean, when you type as quick as Q types,
you're not going out doing on on debates concerning information
from AIS.
Speaker 4 (17:54):
And it's not hard to find his fingers the article.
His fingers tell you so historic defensive collass. Fingers are
historic quick defensive collapse. And I don't like your your
your voice in my ear with that type of tone
right now, so early.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
And defensive colad.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
I just don't. It's like, it's like and I don't know.
And by the way, you know, you're you're the Giants
next week agonizing at the Eagles, and you know, after
what happened, what a couple of weeks ago, Philly's going
to chew their ass up and spit them.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
How do we do on our picks this week? I
totally forget I was I was the way we got.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
Here's the thing is, I don't know why we picked
the games we picked because instead of like having one
game left or like none, we still have two games tonight.
But so far for this week, we've got LeVar at
one and two. LeVar missed the Rams at Jaguars. I
had to dagh no, no, you got excuse me, excuse me.
(18:58):
You got that. You got the Rams Jaguars. You missed
the Vikings.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
Eagles, Chargers, I mean the Colts, and you guys keep
saying it, that's the best team in the.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
I'm having a hard time grasping it.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
That's hard.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
But whoa, I'm surprised you jump in on that. I'm
not surprised you I jump in on that. I figured
you just just zipped all on that one. But anyway,
it's good to see me. They look pretty good, man,
Good to see me.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Brady were the only professionals here on this show.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
Jonas is one in two as well.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
By the way, Jonas missed the Jaguars Rams game. Jonas,
who got the Eagles right but then also missed the
Chargers game.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Why would have.
Speaker 5 (19:46):
You know?
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Why would you have? I don't so what does that
mean for you? What did you do for I knew
there was a setup to that, Like there was too
much pleasure.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
Eagle, Hey Colts money line up in this you money
line at the Colts'.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
Money line, the coat. I'm a believer, this is my team,
this is my Colts.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
We will have you.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
I haven't seen that, dude.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
You're a horrible winner too, I see.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
Have you seen that? Dude?
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Though?
Speaker 4 (20:23):
Now he's like doing like in game performances for the Colts.
He went from singing like preseason like YouTube songs that
everyone's laughing at, and I was like, he's laughing at
everyone else. It's getting all the attention. Tonight will be
interesting though. In our picks, Jonas and LeVar both took
the Bucks, who are getting six points in Detroit.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
That line looked funny to me. So I'm on the
other side of this one.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
I'm laying six with Detroit and then the Texans Seahawks.
Jonas has the Texans with the three points. You got
the Texans money line, and then I've got the Seahawks
laying three.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Hell yeah, yeah, Barrington, I'm talking about Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
You two are kind of riding together against WHOA.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Now I don't ride with Joanes not you don't ride now,
don't do I don't do hurst. I don't plan on
doing a Hurst ever. To be honest, I don't.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Do that back there. Some people aren't trying to sleep.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Dam Here's one thing I know, all right, you should
ride the Hurst for Jonas or not, but either way
it depends. It depends in the Prostate Cancer Foundation. They're

about this. Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox
Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox of the air.
We are going to have another edition of in case
(23:32):
you missed it, coming up here in a little over
fifteen minutes from now. Right now, though, it is time
for the tire rack Play of the Day.
Speaker 8 (23:39):
Thirty six trailing thirty four to fifteen time expires. He
just got to snap off, flushed out by Odicky zoa
and he's gonna be almost hit by Clark throzen away.
Speaker 9 (23:49):
It's intercept and he throw up a duck. Here comes
pland down the sideline. HiT's a pet six. HiT's a
pet six. The first touch of the ball by a
Cowboys this.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Year Cowboys Radio Network on the call that your tire
Rack played the Day. For over forty years, ti Raq
has been helping customers find the right tires for how,
what and where they drive. Ship Fast and freedback by
free Road has a protection with convenient installation options like
mobile tire Installation ti iraq dot Com the way tire
buying should be So. Jaden Daniels had been dealing with
(24:23):
a knee injury. Has come back to the last couple of games.
Obviously they lost Monday night. They had a short week.
They go to Dallas. They're getting waxed, I mean wax
Now he's got a hamstring issue. He set for an
MRI later off over topping Station. He came back too early.
Terry McLaurin has been out like it just this feels
(24:43):
like a team that's got snake bit vibes this year,
that they reached the NFC title game last last year,
overachieved by all, you know, expectations going.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
Forward, seem to be having that type of excuse to use. Yeah,
people get injured, man. Now granted you you're a franchise
guy is dealing with injuries and can't play the way
that he usually plays, They're not going to be as
good as they usually are. I mean, you see it
with Lamar Jackson in Baltimore. I mean you see it
(25:18):
with a team like Washington. He is the catalyst for
that offense, and I would expect or assume that if
he's fully healthy, even without scary Terry, this is still
going to be a pretty formidable team to have to
deal with on the offense side of the ball, because
you got to play eleven on eleven football. So but
(25:42):
I don't know that was to me, that was the
most interesting game of all the games this weekend. The
way the way Dallas looked and whooping the Washington Commanders
is pretty impressive. Bron Schoenheimer has this this offense cooking.
(26:05):
If they're if their defense can catch up and be
as as good as their offense is, this could turn
into a pretty scary team for other guys out there,
other opponents out there. But if I'm looking at that
at Washington, if you don't have a healthy Jade and Daniels,
you can forget about being competitive for all the games
(26:27):
that he's not at full full strength, Like that's just
what it is.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
Yeah, it's over, Like it's not. I just it's over. Yeah,
it's over. I mean it. You just if this hamstring
at minimum is going to keep them out what two
three weeks? Like, so then that's another two three weeks
you're gonna go with Marcus Mariota. The defense has not
(26:53):
looked good, especially the last couple of weeks, and it
just seems like health and falling back to reality based
on exceeding expectations last year. I just I don't see it.
And and to Lvar's point, Dallas offensively has been phenomenal,
like really like Scott's been great, Oh yeah, pretty much.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
I think they had one game, one down game, like
the first game that that CD LAMB was out, I
think they had like maybe they're they're off game, but
they've been pretty impressive from from from the jump, Like, okay,
they look pretty good on offense, I see what they
can do. So give Sean Haimer a ton of credit
for that. Many they look explosive. Dak Prescott looks really good.
(27:36):
I hate to say it, but what's that With that
being said, Michael Parsons had a dominant day yesterday, by
the way, but just make sure I had that in there.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
You know, he's never had a three SAT game in
his career until the opposite of.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
The Giants of the fourth quarter.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
I dang, it might have been MICA's best day as
a as a pro.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Yeah, well, can we just like go with the conversations
sead of time about Washington talking about how the DAK should.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
Be the m DV. I mean, he's balling, he's playing great,
he's balling.
Speaker 4 (28:11):
He did Why wouldn't you like he's literally carried that
team at one point. I think what last week they
had the worst defense in the best offense, Like that
was at least what the numbers kind of showed.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
I'm one of his biggest critics when he when when
it's easy to be a critic of him. So I'm
gonna praise him when when he's you know, doing doing
what he's doing right now. So I'm with you on
that easy. I mean, he looks really good.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Can I give you a list of guys.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
Let's just let's just go one step further, Like stay
on Dallas for a second.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Stay on Dallas.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
He's saved Jerry Jones ass when you trade away.
Speaker 4 (28:45):
Micah Parsons and you do what he did and their
defense has stunk, like this thing could have.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
Went down in a ball of flames.
Speaker 4 (28:57):
But Dak has legitimately saved Jerry Jones ass for making
that decision before the season and not allowing to come
back and bite them. Despite the fact that even though
the defense played decent yesterday Jane Daniels was banged up,
there's still an offense that's operating at such a high
level they're able to overcome it.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yeah, like Sam fran I mean, they've overcome the injuries.
I mean, but they get Cede lamback, if Pickens can stay,
if he can stay solid and sound mentally and emotionally,
this is I mean, it's a dangerous team. Man, they're
pretty dangerous. They got weapons.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
You guys want to hear a list of guys ahead
of Dak Prescott as far as MVP odds go, Like,
Patrick Mahomes has got to be there right now. So
Patrick Mahomes is one, all right, He's at He's the
favorite right now plus one fifty according to DraftKings. Next
Baker Mayfield, after that, Josh Allen, Drake May, Matthew Stafford,
(30:02):
Jared Goff, Daniel Jones, Jordan Love, and then Dak Prescott.
He should be way higher on that list. And maybe
it's because you know, you look at him and you're like, well,
they're not I guess as competitive, or they're not record wise,
they're not where Tampa is, they're not where you know,
Buffalo is. But I mean I would take Dak Prescott.
(30:26):
I think he's had a better year than Jordan Love.
I mean, Daniel Jones is in the discussion, but I
think he's had a better year than Jared Goff. I
think he's had a better year than Matthew Stafford. But
you know, he's his teams aren't as good and trading
away Micah Parsons and not having help on defense. I
think he's probably impacted some of those numbers as well too,
So that's a but that's your Jerry Jones. That's you know,
(30:49):
he wants to wants to swing for the future, and
he's looking at you know, multiple multiple first round picks
and whatever came along with Michael Parsons to try and
make up for the fact that Dallas made that decision
and moved on from him. So what do you guys
think about them for this season? Dallas?
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Yeah, I mean the way he's playing, he's playing well
enough for them to be a competitive team out of
the NFC. What how do you guys see them this year?
I mean they've pulled to five hundred eight nine win team,
playoff wild card team. Is it still Philly? Philly had
(31:28):
a nice bounce back victory. I will say they needed
to have a good showing because they were kind of
slipping there for a moment. So do we still look
at Philly as the that's the team to beat in
the NFC East?
Speaker 1 (31:42):
Or it could have been the Giants?
Speaker 3 (31:46):
Their schedule's brutal in the second half the season.
Speaker 4 (31:49):
You know, like that buye comes out the right time,
but unfortunately it comes versus the wrong opponent.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
See they have a buye before they play Las Vegas.
Speaker 4 (31:58):
But you know you got to go to Denver, which
maybe that looks you know, like you're looking at your
chops if you're Dak Prescott knowing that any given quarter
you can put up thirty three on the you know,
that's the Giants, the end of the Giants, so flipp
them around. Yeah, well, I guess you gotta worry about
them putting up thirty three points right in a quarter,
so you know it could be a shootout there.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
Cardinals, I Do'm not I mean maybe Murray's pools Gold.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, yeah, they're not even fools gold anymore.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
They're just Rocks.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Looking at the second half of the schedule.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
That like, they get the Raiders on the road after
the bye, and then the Giants at the end of
the season, which again, when you give up that many
points in one quarter, that that could lead you to
feel pretty confident about your chances. But outside of that,
man like Eagles got passing game going on yesterday, they
look better. The Chiefs look like the best team in
the NFL. They have to go to Detroit and they
(32:52):
host Minnesota and the Chargers. But I still think the
Chargers are a formidable opponent for them. The Vikings will
be tough. I mean back to back weeks to finish
the season, Washington, New York to finish, even though I
think they could beat the Giants. So I don't know,
Like they probably have three more wins that I feel
(33:14):
like confident in saying that. So that gets in the six,
three and one and the rest are like, I don't know,
they have to pull something off.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
Man, the NFC is better than I think a lot
of people thought they would be. That's the other part
of this. If they're not going to win the division,
they'll need a wild card spot.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
And I'm not gonna say better. I think there's more parody.
I think that's a better way of putting it.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
No, I'm gonna say it's better. I think I think
people looked at the NFC as the weaker side of
the of the NFL.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
Have any have anyone play Kansas City. They're not beating them.
Speaker 4 (33:47):
I also feel pretty confident in Buffalo, like there's a
there's a few like right now Indy. I feel very
confident in Indy, like there's a few teams where I
feel way more confident in their upside.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
You just ran three elites on on the A. See
run three elites on NFC Jonas, Let's see Chicago. No, no,
come on.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
They did win again though, good for them, big win
against the Saints.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
I think tonight's gonna tell us a lot Tampa and Detroit.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Tampa's pretty good. Tampa's pretty good. Detroit is they're They're
two they were, They're hot and cold.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Right now.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
I don't trust I don't trust Detroit right now. Yeah,
I don't trust them. The Rams. The Rams are good,
but are they elite? They're good, lost a couple like that,
are they elite? I mean, hell, Buffalo, Buffalo had a
couple of down moments. I mean, that will go against it,
but I'll go with saying their quarterback is is pretty
(34:42):
they're pretty loaded quarterback and they're preloaded.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
It just feels like there's gonna be a lot more
traffic for a wild card spot for Dallas.
Speaker 4 (34:50):
By the way, didn't even mention Pittsburgh just because if
they're kind of they lost to I mean it was
early last week, but I mean we're throwing the Bengals
with Flacco, you look at them different.
Speaker 1 (35:02):
I'm just kidding, because they did pop out, but kind
of not on kind of they.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Popped out though, I mean, what if they're about to
go on a run.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
It's possible they could play a spoiler. Flacco did it
with Cleveland a couple of years ago. It's not it's
not like he's true on this before.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
I don't see I don't see that being far fetched.
But I don't look at them as an elite team
with Flacco. I look at them as a team that
can make it into the the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
That's all they're looking for. Get Burrow back.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
I don't look at any NFC teams as an elite team,
like straight elite. Like if I were ranking, if we
were doing just just for the sake of saying a
top A top three teams in each each side, or
top three teams in the NFL, top five teams in
the NFL, I think AFC is going to be the
(35:56):
vast majority of those teams in the top five. If
we were saying both sides nothing, sides don't matter, just
choose the best five teams. I think is AFC dominated.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
If Tampa wins tonight, Tampa, the Rams, and the Eagles
are your top three in the NFC.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
I think the Eagles have potential to be elite again,
doubt again, and maybe they do catch on later on
in the season, but right now I.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
Don't see them as elite. Yeah. Well, I'll tell you
what it is. Elite what Oh yeah, I'm coming up

Speaker 6 (37:43):
Hey, guys, Hey guys, hey, hey, hey, Well, unfortunately we
have a bit of a somber in case you missed
it today the rest in peace the muscle hamster Doug
Martin pass away at age thirty six, my age and
the latest reports on this. The police were called to
(38:05):
a possible home breaking in East Oakland around four fifteen
am Saturday. A brief struggle reportedly occurred before Martin became
unresponsive while in custody and apparently apparently died in police custody.
So was he the intruder? Is that what we're to sue?
That's yeah, I mean, that's kind of what it seems.
(38:26):
But that's that's the all the details. That's the latest
details that they have out.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
There that you got a way to see what the
details are it's a sad, sad story.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
Yeah, you know you can always count on Coop to
keep things upbeat here, Thanks Coop.
Speaker 6 (38:41):
Yeah, Coopy, that story though as it is. I mean
I wanted to give a shout out to him. One
of the one of the best nicknames of all time
in my opinion.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
I don't think he liked that nickname either. No, what
makes you say that they think there was a story
out that he was not a fan of the muscle Hamster,
Like really, yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (38:59):
Mean the muscle parts cool is because it's the hamster part,
and they thought that was you know.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
I thought, I mean when I heard it, I thought
it was kind of fun. What was the hamster part?
Was it because he was like.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
Jonas? What was that?
Speaker 5 (39:12):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (39:12):
No, I just was, you know, talking about the muscle
hamster nickname. What if they would have did Richard? It
would have been better.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
Whoa Richard gear in the background? That was all. I mean,
he's a good actor. I'm not sure what you're referring to.
Speaker 1 (39:30):
By the way, Coop, what do you think of Unfaithful?
The movie Unfaithful? What about it? It's a great movie,
might be the scariest movie of all time too. I
mean so realistic.
Speaker 6 (39:43):
Oh wow, really okay, No, it's it's it's good viewing
Diane Lane, right, yeah, yeah, fantastic.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
Yeah, wonderful.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
You love Diane.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
I do. And and she was already you know who's she?
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Connie in that U in that film. I think, Wow,
Edward and Connie.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
And somebody likes Gerbils and hamsters.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
Yeah, I mean you can go back and play back
the sound that was Jonasy brought that up.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
I didn't.
Speaker 6 (40:10):
I only heard that from you.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
No, go back and listen.
Speaker 1 (40:15):
Definitely underneath.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Yeah, difference between a Gerbil and a rat anyway, aren't they.
That's a good point.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
Jonas likes Gerbils.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
Jonas hates rats, Is that true? I don't like rats.
There you go, but you're okay with Gerbils. You can
lose them.
Speaker 3 (40:37):
Really, Hamsters same thing.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
Capsters are a little cutter, gurbles a little hardcore.
