Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming up on
this Tuesday edition, we look back on Monday Night football.
What does it mean moving forward for the Pittsburgh Steelers?
Are they a real threat in the AFC? Speaking to
somebody who's not a real threat in the AFC any longer?
That would be the Miami Dolphins. What does that mean
for Mike McDaniel and Tua moving forward? We're going to

(00:21):
have a conversation about surgeries in the NFL. Options, second opinions,
We'll talk about Philip Rivers getting the start yet again
for the Indianapolis Colts. JJ McCarthy may or may not
have pissed off his head coach. We've got Arch Manning
returning to Texas, the Great Dean Blandino stops by, and
we've got the leftovers. It's all yours coming up next here,

(00:43):
Two Pros and a cup of Joe on a Tuesday,
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
With you man, you got issues? Brother? Why you're so
pumped up? Would have got your coffee cup? Man? Maybe
it's that conversation we have with Ben before they have
that would have been a great first segment. I'll tell
you that. Yeah, let me tell you so.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Hey, the fifth hour or the fifth hour that Ben
does this podcast, just replay what we talked about.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
If you want to do some ratings. What up, Ben?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on it's no Brady Quit. It's LeVar Arrington and Jonas
Knox with you. You can listen to us on the
iHeartRadio app on hundreds of affiliates all across the country.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
If you're listening on the podcast, we appreciate you doing so.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
You can't even let us get through the open without
going two six shooters damn. But uh yeah, listen, we're
gonna be taking all the way up again. Nine am
Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. It is a black and
drag condition of the show here with LeVar and myself
for those of you that we call ourselves black and drag,

(02:07):
and it's just us toasting because yeah, and I look
like Dracula, So.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
No, you're related to Dracula. That's fair. It's in there.
You did that twenty three of me. It came back Transylvanian, Yeah,
Trent Silvanian. There's a lot of.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Lot going on there, but you can check out the
brand new YouTube channel for the show. Just searched two
pros FSR and YouTube begin. That's two pros FSR. Be
sure that the subscribe button don't stop there the thumbs
up icon coming away. Let us know who on the
show you agree with, who you think is wrong. But
check out our new channel on YouTube begin. Just searched
two pros FSR and subscribe.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Stiller. Yeah, the Stillers were They were vampires last night,
not bad. Sucked the life out of the Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I think I saw the stat four straight scoring drives,
four straight drives with a touchdown. It's the first time
they've done that since twenty eighteen, so that had to
show you where things had been at from an offensive
standpoint as far as the Steelers in consistency goes. But
I mean, I don't see Pittsburgh as anything more that

(03:13):
I think they probably win the division. They're probably gonna,
you know though, obviously host a playoff game. I don't
see them as anything more than what it's looked like
in previous Steelers years, especially the past close to a decade,
where they're won and done in the postseason.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
I don't I wanted to have a strong opinion on
them being good enough to have a winning season, being
good enough to make it to the playoffs, not good
enough to win the Super Bowl. I wanted to have
that opinion after the game ended, just because I don't

(03:54):
feel as though a Ravens team, a Miami team is
good enough right now where I could say I could
come from those games and definitively say that the Steelers
would be that type of team that could make a
run for it. But then when I stopped and really

(04:16):
thought about it, who's like, there's no dominant teams in
the National I'll say the Rams are pretty dog on good.
They're pretty dog on good.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
But even they'll have games where it's like, what was like,
like what was that rammant?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Go to Denverer? Ram rammant? Oh wait? Who were they playing?
The Green Bay Packers. So that's that's where I was going.
That was the point I was getting to the Packers.
They weren't a dominant team until they lost two of them.
What listen? Yeah, yeah, I just when I when you

(05:12):
I don't know, when you break it down, what team?
What team? Because the Broncos are pretty good, right, you
got you got a Broncos team that's pretty good. You
got a Rams team that's pretty good. You got a
Bears team that's pretty good. I mean, honestly speaking, come on, man,

(05:37):
all three of those teams are really, in a lot
of ways unproven teams. They're unproven teams. This isn't the
same Rams team that won the Super Bowl. There's a
lot of new faces. And the main face that isn't
there's Aaron Donald, Like, there's a lot of new faces.
The big lineman isn't there anymore that does Thursday night football?

(05:57):
And like Whitworth, if you don't have that core nucleus
of guys there, you still have the quarterback in play,
but you don't have the core nucleus of that team.
So they're a relatively unknown team as well. So when
I look at all the top teams, Buffalo their day
and night, they're hot and cold with how they do things.

(06:18):
They seem to be pulling off games right now and
doing some things to win games where it looks like
they're improving, but I don't think that they're far and
away better than everybody. The way they've played Cook and
when Cook gets cooking, they have a pretty balanced team
and they do pretty well, but they're not dominant.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Well, that's one of the that would be my concern
if I were a Steelers fan is that there's a
real possibility that you're going to be the lowest ranked
division winner, so you'll be the four seed, you'll be
hosting a playoff game. But the problem is that playoff
game could be against Buffalo. Oh wow, Well, and I
think right now the Bills would saw them off.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
No, I don't think so. I don't think so. And
and here's why I say to that, I don't know.
I don't I think if if Pittsburgh is able to
continue to solidify what they're doing right now and finding
themselves with a physical brand of football that Pittsburgh plays

(07:19):
and that's what they live in and that's what they
had success in, I think they're actually equipped to be
a saw off deterrent in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I just like, you watch them last night and look,
it's it's a good win. I think Rogers in the
postseason is a great story.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
You know, he was efficient and effected last night. All
that's great. They were able to establish the run, all
that's great. They were starting to convert third nows. They
just they don't.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
They don't strike me as anything different than what they've
been every other time they go to the postseason lately,
which is one and done. They just don't strike me
as as any sort of a threat to make a defense.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
But that's who they are. Like the last time they
went to the Super Bowl, or not the last time,
but the Super Bowl that they went to when they
had to go on the road, it was the same team.
If you go back to the stories, you'll you'll say
some of the same exact things that explains them right now.
You'll say it back then. Now, granted they had an

(08:25):
amazing defense. That's that's that defense that they ended up
beating the Cardinals. They ended up beating the Cardinals in
that that Super Bowl, but they had to go on
the road to get it. And I would say this
team isn't as good as that team. Obviously there's some
amazing football players, like ridiculously amazing football and Hall of

(08:47):
famers on that team. But you have Hall of famers
on this team. You have a Hall of Famer on
this team possibly, uh maybe one one more, two more,
you know, I mean, maybe you have two. You have EJ.
Watton and you have Aaron Rodgers, and you could possibly say,
cam heywork could be in that conversation.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
I mean, at some point, am I going to get
a little bit of credit for telling you guys something
was a little off about that story of his lung
issue he had the other day.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Well you called it. You call it money on, guys,
something something fishy going on there, you call it money on.
I don't I don't understand how ACU puncture needle could
collapse a rib alone alone. I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Once the story, once the one of the details of
the story was the NFLPA has been notified, I thought,
all right, what's going on here? Just but even but
even the like their explanation afterwards, dry needling. Then you
start to hear more and more about it, and we
were texting about it, and Brady's like, I don't.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Know how that's possible. I don't know either. Even doctors
are like, wait, what, I don't know how you like
the the the puncture that that the quarterback got, what
was Tyrod Taylor? That was you're putting like novacane, that's
a needle. That was the game of throne sword. Yeah,
that's a syringe. This is you're talking about little ass

(10:15):
like you know, the little needles that you can put
a sewing needle. They're very rainy and they're just they're
smaller than that just the top layer of your dermis.
Why is it going deep? They're they're smaller. Those those
needles that they use with with acupuncture are smaller than
threading needles, sewing needles. They're small. I don't understand it.

(10:38):
Something seems a little off about it, but I digress.
What I'm not off about is this Steelers team, and
they will have they will be suited to be able
to go on the road Jonas because they're they're Their
defense looks to be improving. I think adding Scantling is

(11:01):
what's probably the biggest move to improve them. Now. They
had a chance, as you saw yesterday, to get to
get uh, who's my guy number four? Who's d Metcalf.
You have the chance to get Metcalf, but he bully

(11:21):
uh Fitzpatrick there. You're giving him the opportunity to get
going in games. It's a nice that is a look
for that to be a very very interesting, very nice
development of a combo of receivers going into the playoff run.
If Scantling can do what he needs to do. Dk

(11:46):
metcalf is going to show up. That's dangerous. Then you
got the running game. They got the running game going. Now,
it wasn't pretty, but they they they they found an efficiency,
They found a level of success in the third quarter
on the third downs. They were very effective and efficient

(12:07):
on fourth down. They did not miss a fourth down conversion.
And they played lights out defense in the third quarter
against a surgeing Miami Dolphins team that was not to me,
that was not going to be an easy win for
the Pittsburgh Steelers and in fact, could have maybe exposed

(12:27):
warts that existed with this Steelers team. They passed that test.
They passed that test. Now they are two games above
five hundred. They're playing better defense. This was probably Aaron
Rodgers best showing as a quarterback for this team this year.
They're coming off of a big win against the divisional
rival in the Baltimore Ravens. It just says to me,

(12:50):
you cannot you cannot make the come to the conclusion
that this is a one and done playoff football team.
If you're looking at the entirety in the scope of
what's going on in the National Football League right now,
especially on the AFC side of the court, like there
are some good teams, they're just unproven. They're unproven.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
There's a there's another side of this story, and we're
going to get to when it comes to the game
last night. But first I want to let you know
that Makita tools at the Home Depot are built with precision,
without shortcuts, designed for the toughest jobs.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
It's the choice for pros.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
When the job calls for the best, call Makita bill
to be the best available at the home depot.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
How pros get more done.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Mike McDaniel's glasses were sweet, very just like kind of
a vinta, like a brownish tint, like old school.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
I liked them. His glasses were good.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
And that's about uh, that's about all I got as
far as positives. When it comes to the Dolphins last night,
even Troy Aikman was like, what are we doing in
the fourth quarter?

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Do you just like it?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
It felt like a team that had no interest in
playing in those conditions, no interest in playing in the cold.
Officially eliminated from the playoffs following last night's loss, and
here was their quarterback to a talk about Loah talking
about the mindset of the team moving forward.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
It is sough.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
We got to play better ball if we want to
win games against good teams. Yeah, I mean, it's disappointing
we didn't get the outcome we wanted to. Uh, and
and everything that goes on with the playoffs. But when
you start the season the way the way we did, uh,
you know, we made it hard on ourselves, you know,
so we we just got to come in on on

(14:34):
Wednesday and you know, we got to get back to work. Really,
at the end of the day, it's about It's about
pride that you have for for yourself, your last name
on your back. You know who you are as a husband,
who you are as a father, as a son, as
a teammate, all of that. So, uh, we'll see.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Come on Wednesday, gonna be plenty of time to be
a husband, a father.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
And the off season, oh yeah, because it just start
off season coming quickly. Yeah, I mean.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Ye're you gonna be around for the holidays. Now he
plays for the Dolphins. What do you mean, who's please?

Speaker 2 (15:07):
They have the Bengals on a short week, They're a struggling,
reeling team. They have a quarterback that isn't happy. I
think this is an interesting game because both teams, while
having down years, have everything to play for outside of

(15:27):
postseason aspirations. Everybody's playing for their jobs, everybody's coaching for
their jobs. So this is a tremendously big game. This
is a big stretch for both teams. So you'll see
a competitive team, You'll see a competitive game, and it'll
be interesting to see how how both teams coming off

(15:51):
of losses will react to this game. One having a
shorter week than the other, and it's in Miami, so
you'd have to say that maybe the advantage goes to
Miami because they're not going to be cold. Generally speaking,

(16:11):
they lose games when they're in cold temperature. So I
think after that game last night, I would say this
is a Miami Dolphins team that probably you probably need
to see it for another season, you know, get a

(16:32):
new GM in, see what they can do this offseason
before you make any more decisions in terms of the
future of your quarterback in the future of your coach.
I think that that's where you're at with the Miami Dolphins.
As far as the Pittsburgh Steelers, I have to say

(16:54):
I wholeheartedly disagree with you thinking that this is a
one and done team. How competitive can they be in
terms of making it to the Super Bowl. I don't know.
I'm not I'm not. I'm not super clear on that
they back in. They didn't reel me in. I just
think that it's just looking at process of elimination, right

(17:17):
If you look at the teams, if you look at
the teams in the AFC, are you are you a
believer in the Patriots? I just feel like they're a
relative unknown and you saw you saw a veteran team
find a way to beat them. The Steelers are going
to be the worst playoff team in the AFC. Okay,

(17:40):
but in looking at the AFC, so you got the Patriots,
you got the Bills, you got the Steelers, you got
the Jags, probably have the Texans. Yeah, then you have
the Broncos and the Chargers. Right, Yeah, I don't see
in a one game in a one game scenario, I

(18:02):
didn't say one team that the Steelers can't beat.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Who would you if you're Pittsburgh in that first round matchup?
Would you rather play Buffalo or would you rather play
the Chargers? I'd rather play I don't think it.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
I don't think it matters, and I'll say this, Yes,
Josh Allen is the better quarterback. If we're looking at
the teams in the playoff hunt that are going after it,
I would say easily, Josh Allen is the best quarterback
on the AFC side going into the playoffs. So of

(18:36):
course I would want to play against Justin Herbert and
the Chargers because I don't have to deal with what
comes along with what you know, obviously what you get
in in the Buffalo Bills team and having al in
that quarterback. But with that being said, the playoffs is
a different animal and when you bring that level of

(18:57):
intensity and it steps up at that that stage and
on that level. One of the teams that are the
best out adapting and playing at that level is the Steelers. Now, granted,
I know they've lost in the playoffs, but I'm just saying,
historically speaking, the Steelers are able to match physicality in

(19:20):
playoff game conditions, and I think they're a dangerous team
because there's not one team that I named that they
can't get out there and if their defense plays the
way that their defense played last night, and they're able
to get their running game going the way that they
got their running game going, and you have the balance
on the outsides, which, mind you, by the way they're

(19:44):
tight end their tight end sets are pretty pretty phenomenal
with friar Mouth and Big three hundred. What's Big three
hundreds name Darnell wash Darnell Washington and they got another one.
They got like three tight ends the way. Okay, he's alignment,
Like what is he doing? Hey, bruh, It's like it
should it should be illegal for him to be able

(20:06):
to run the overdudes Like that's that's that's dangerous. That's
that's not a safety Yeah, that's a safety issue. Is big, big, old,
big old one. I just it's rude, just what it is.
You cannot count the Pittsburgh Steelers out at this moment.
I just And that has way more to do with

(20:27):
the unknowns of the rest of the AFC versus the
knowns of what we do see in the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
Well, listen, it's a lot to look forward to final
three weeks of the season, A lot to look forward to.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
In this three hour extrava a draft excuse me, three
hour extravagance.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Things got in the way. I got hold of your tongue.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
So we are going to have the usuals coming up.
Later on, we'll have Dean Blandino stopping by. There's some
things to discuss with him because people are not happy
about some things that went down in the NFL from
a rule standpoint.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Over the wee weekend.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (24:37):
My gosh. I had the best time. People were so
nice at tailgates. Everyone just fed me all this food.
It was so great. Did they know who you are?
I did not go around, so people didn't know where
you They were just nice to you. Just huh interesting?
All right? Good? It was hot too? Oh was it hot?

(24:58):
It was so hot in Denver. I was sweating. I
took flannel tights, bad, bad ideas, plannel tights. I forgot pants,
so what I had was flannel tights all weekend. Okay,
better than nothing. It's it's it's holiday season too, so
I'm sure that at least you were warm if you

(25:19):
were moving around and checking out the sights and the sounds. Right,
Denver is a dope city. I love Denver. Yeah, Denver's
a dope great, Okay, great, all right?

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Well cool?

Speaker 2 (25:30):
Have you guys been to me? Now I've heard of
Howling Wolf and places like that where it was visited
frequently in New Orleans place is called, yeah, the Howling Wolf.

(25:50):
I mean, maybe there's a consistency of themes here, you know,
maybe there's good and bad. Maybe the reason why things
are the way they ours because of wolves versus vampires,
and there's like a girl involved in the middle of
the struggle. Maybe, But I guess in this movie the

(26:14):
wolf winds.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Maybe.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
I don't know. I'm not quite sure. That might have
been the under That might have been the best undercover
bit ever. By the way, that's a really good bit.
That was a really good bit. We'll be howling with
Patty speaks. What was it Jacob? Jacob versus? Who was

(26:37):
the other one? Henry? I don't know what was his name? Henry?
Can I not think of it? I didn't you know?
What's his name?

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Edward?

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Edward?

Speaker 1 (26:45):
You know what it was about Twilight. The reason why
I didn't watch it, it's because you didn't like it,
because I'm just not like a complete zero. Look it
does it does make your kind sparkly. It makes us
look soft, all right? So it is time right now
for the tire rack.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Rogers in the shotgun taps both sides of the helmet,
one on the plate clock gets a snap Dolphins bringing
pressure thrown over the middle. It is complete. The DK
metcalp pearls aside one defender stick the end zone for
the Pittsburgh Steelers touchdown whatever by.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
DK Metcalf Steelers Radio network on the call. That's your
tire Rack play of the day. For over forty years,
tire Rack's been helping customers find the right tires for how,
what and where they drive. Ship Fast and freeback by
free Road has a protection with convenient installation options like
mobile tire installation tire rack dot Com. The way tire
buying should be said, it must be hard tackling with flippers.

(27:48):
And that was literally her one liner.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
And she was done, like she was done with the
football game, like Penn, oh, yeah, he was watching the game.
Is we were watching the game? She was she she
knows she hates football, but she knows the Gays. So
we're watching and DK was running all over the place
and he goes in his scorts a touchdowns. She says, dad,

(28:12):
it must be hard to make tackles with flippers, and
then walked out of I thought it was a mic
drop movement. It was pretty funny, like they weren't tackling
well at all. She's had an interesting run during the
holidays since we've been doing this show. She has.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
She has remember that real crash out of the one
down when somebody might have walked into a room that
they shouldn't have walked into as the people were getting
ready for the holidays, may have seen some things.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Let me tell you something. That one is like bruh.
Last Christmas, she just went and started opening up the gifts. No,
she did, and she was nine, Like she's nine. She's not.
She's not like a little little girl. She's like if

(29:11):
you ever meet her, she's like very very advanced, like
like they're like you could have an adult conversation with her.
I mean, you know, obviously g rated conversation, but really,
I mean she's her profanity, da da, da, this, that
and the other. Like she's been around coaching. She was
my assistant coach. And anyway, nine years old, she's up

(29:32):
under the tree like the night before, like opening the gifts. Yeah,
I was like what, like like what I don't understand,
Like you do know, Santa hasn't showed up with his
like these are like family deals, and she was like, yeah,
I know, that's why. That's why I did it, because

(29:54):
Santa didn't bring the rest of them. I was like,
it's a hell of a yeah, it's a hell of
a defense. That's a hell of a different Her defense
was strong. That's all I'll say. Santa didn't bring these gifts,
therefore I can open them whenever. What didn't do that
this year? Though? It was a little different setup this year.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Your guy Michael Parsons did get confirmation did in fact
tear his acl According to sources, he's going to finish
with twelve and a half sacks. I'm curious to see
how he bounces back, just from the standpoint that we've seen.
Look Nick Bosa bounce back and played really well. Then

(30:39):
he you know, suffered another one this year. But I'm
just wondering, like he's already at Like, this is what's
crazy about Michael Parsons. He's already, Bro, he's halfway to
one hundred and thirty sacks. Yeah, he's already He's at
sixty five and he's less than five years into the NFL.
And I just wonder, based on his style of play,

(31:01):
based on how you know his style of play, What
does this look like after he has the surgery, goes
through the rehab. Do you expect him just to bounce
right back or is this going to be something he's
gonna have to learn to manage the rest of the rest.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Of the way. Well, you always have to learn to
manage when you have a serious setback injury, you always
have to learn to manage it. Some guys are way
more competitive and way more aggressive and how they go
about doing things. I would say he's like probably the
type of like mentality wired wise, like how Adrian Peterson

(31:40):
is and we know how he attacked his ACL injury.
You know, Micah is ultra competitive. He's one of those guys.
He always feels as though, you know, he's approaching things
from an underdog's perspective. You know, people don't believe in me.
You know, they don't give me, you know, the credit

(32:00):
or the just do that I'm deserving of none better
than Jerry Jones showing that this past offseason. So you know,
there's a lot to that. I know he would have
wanted to. I know he would have wanted to had
you know, a defensive MVP season a super Bowl season

(32:23):
so that it would make him feel validated. The way
things kind of happen and ended in Dallas, it doesn't
happen that way. And the type of person that Michael
Parsons is, he's going to make sure he gets back
to feel that feeling. He's going to do the work

(32:45):
and then some to get back to where he needs
to be to play the way he needs to play.
And that's just that's just factual information.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
He posted on social media. Quote, I may be sidelined,
but I'm not defeated. The injury is my greatest test
a moment God allowed to strengthen my testimony. I believe
he walks with me through this storm and chows me
for this fight because he knew my heart could carry it.
I'm deeply grateful of the Packers' organization and my teammates
for their unwavering support, love and belief in me during

(33:19):
this season. I trust his timing, his plan, and his purpose.
I will rise again from Parsons.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
I mean that bag to carry it in is a
very expensive on that is definitely able to carry you know,
heavy things.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
I mean, listen, I whenever MIC's okay, Yeah, when he
got that because I made the commentary.

Speaker 2 (33:41):
Yet, look at least he got paid. It been never
got any better than what it did today. His best
was great enough. Same thing. Remember David Bactiari the tackle
for the Packers. Never could get it right after that one.
But he got paid. He got paid like three weeks
before he suffered the injury. Ikeuld got paid before he
got this injury. And you hate to say it in
the sense, in the regard well, hey got paid like eh,

(34:06):
but he did it. I mean, it's easy to give
the lord credit when they can j Jesus jam. This
is my this is my greatest obstacle being motivated with
all these elms coming in. Yeah, all these elms popping

(34:27):
in my bank account is gonna be real difficult to give.
Give him my whole You starting to get that, hey, bro,
because he's he's he's got a he's got a life,
he's got he's got a girl, he's got he's got babies.
He's a very very family oriented guy. So when you
have family, you know, in times like these, he is

(34:49):
gonna work hard, but you gotta believe there's gonna be
a lot of food involved. He's gonna be eating, you know,
he's gonna be watching movies, watching TV, spending time with
his kids, stuff like that. You know, else it is
going to be doing that, Patch Holmes. Yeah, you'd say
the exact thing.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Here's the one thing that maybe this is nothing, you know,
because he's from the area, so obviously I know he's
back there all the time. By the way, I every
wanted to try an Olympic or an Olympic or Paralympic sport.

You're explain got many of the people through, kid, Can
you can you explain the reference to Lorna who was
not here.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
So I looked at you think I'm glad I wasn't.
Pat was making this face like he was doing something
that was real funny, like I ain't know what it was,
but it was like going back and forth, and all
I could think about was I could see him as
a baby in a high chair eating something that would
leave a ring around his mouth. And then I was like, man,
be FERRONI like like here we go, Like wow, so

(37:29):
there you go, like I could get you a matt.
He probably looked the same exact way he did when
he was a baby, and I could see him just
sitting there like throwing what what are the the o's
on the on the pagetios spaghettios, throwing them on like
eating them with his hands to swallow the meatballs hole
and then heaven, let's get to like like she swallowed

(37:55):
the meatballs hole?

Speaker 6 (37:56):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (37:57):
You don't chew him, that's a drop them. I don't
even know what, like what what were those made of?

Speaker 3 (38:07):
You?

Speaker 2 (38:07):
You totally you totally missed the big big I was
trying to you miss the big story. Steer past it,
past it. I was trying to get past it. I
just thought like that wasn't that wasn't real food, like
nothing and nothing in that whatever that was just just
move right on back, trying to thank you.

Speaker 6 (38:29):
Well, what else we got so for engase you missed it? Well,
we have a Guinness World record here, guys. So father
and son duo have broken the record for fastest.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
Time to beat hungry Hungry Hippo, saying look at that
swallowing balls. Yep, there you go. Oh my gosh, there's
a theme.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
There's a thing, there's a there's all swallowing, there's a
record for everything.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
Yeah, it was. They had to beat it for eight seconds.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Hey dad, you want to go play baseball or go
shoot hoops? Now, let's play Hungry Hungry Hippo. There's a
lot of chance in that too. By the way, there's
a lot of chance.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Balls flying everywhere and you got to catch them. What's
your mouth? In your mouth? It's crazy. So there's got
to be a lot of chance involved with you being
able to break the record, which, by the way, how
do you figure out and learn that there's a Hungry
Hungry Hippo record of swallowing balls?

Speaker 1 (39:26):
Everything about this story screams loser, Like I haven't got too.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
Much time on your hand. Yeah, Like, how are you
going to leverage that to make money? Like, get out
of here. I got to speaking of it next week
on how to be the best hungry hippo eater that
you can be. Get out of here. Yeah, good point.
