Speaker 2 (01:53):
Good morning. I'm just saying I'm coming in hot for that.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
What I do?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
What did I do?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Yeah, you definitely aren't coming in hot, my bad Bruh.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
I didn't do it in here talking about his gas.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
I left it outside. I thought I left it outside.
It came in here with me. I mean it was
a creepy crawler.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
That's all we call those walkers.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
By the way, LaVar got a fart before the show
that had a key fab that thing walked into the building.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
I really did, I really was outside, put a mic
cover on, change the channel. How did you not smell it?
Like it had to have been a trail for you
to get in here.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
There was something like the hallway that it was a
little bit more spacious than the things.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
There's a little bit of space in here and not enough.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
The sad thing is you say you got poor smelling,
so so the fact that you like picked up on it,
and I wanted to keep a straight face so bad.
I wanted to keep a straight face. But I knew
when I did it, I knew it was going to
be bad.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
Did smell it, tour know?

Speaker 4 (03:01):
I mean he was shaking his head like he might add,
but I didn't. There was no indications by his facial
expressions or reactions that that I thought we were good,
like I didn't think nothing of it, honestly, like I
was polite.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I never ever tried to blow down in here unless
it just happens, you know what I mean. We've had
Kraft cakes in a while. I did have a jumbo
jumbo and speaking of bones to pick. Get back to
my original point.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
So now you know we got Patty the the spaghettio cowboy,
the beefaroni cowboy.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Orange ring mouthed cowboy.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Right.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
So we've been talking about bferoni and spaghettios for a
few shows now, and Lorena goes and post on her
story that she's trying it.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
She says, I'm not offended by it.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Da Da da shows the grilled cheese, shows the spaghettios.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Right.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
So when I get in this morning, like, I go
wash my hands, do my little usual thing after you know,
you blow it up in your pants and you know,
you feel like you gotta wash your hands, you know,
Dada datis. And as I'm walking around the corner, something
catches my eye and I look into the trash can.

(04:17):
I don't know why it caught my eye. Maybe because
of how bright it is, I don't know. And I
look down and it's one of the microwaveable spaghettio dips
in the trash fool. You know some people get executed arrested. Yeah,

(04:37):
they get deported for doing much less than throwing away
a full container of spaghettios.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
Bro No, that's where it belongs in the trash.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I'm back with you. No, it was the RNA, but
I'm backing her on this.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
That's why you didn't grow Coop. Oh, that's why you
didn't grow Wow, take that. You want to back her
on that one. You take your short ass and you
back her on that one.

Speaker 6 (05:09):
Oats are disgusting. It's it's it's peasant food.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
You have robbed yourself of a true young experience as
a person.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
That's why you acted.

Speaker 6 (05:23):
There's no nastier smell in the world than spaghettio.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
You weren't able to have a real childhood. And and
now I know part of the reason why. Yeah, Coop,
that's you grew up rich. So you don't know that.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
You don't know that one's pet You know what, rich
That's why King Henry and all of them were short
as hell because they didn't eat spaghettios either. It's let
them eat spaghettios. Okay, I do want that's why we're
taller than you.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Defend myself, though, I did dip the first half of
my sandwich in that spaghettio sauce until Coop sniffed it
and made a very nasty face.

Speaker 6 (05:58):
She forced me to try the grilled cheese dipped in
the Spaghetio said.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Don't knock it until you try it. I said, even
tight shirt said that it's it was really good and
it was like fundamental to his childhood.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
So I can't believe you two of all people are
judging somebody's childhood and and and that dish, actually all
dishes to judge.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Hey, Coop, when you're when you're walking the green wolf,
so to speak, you've eaten.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Worse, eaten worse. Let me tell you something. Nothing's worse
than spaghettio. Bruh. You have totally exposed yourself. Bruh.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
Let me tell you something. You ain't a real one.
I thought you was a real one, Coop, you ain't
a real one. You ain't a real one. I used
to like like like, I used to think you were
like somewhat like a hero to me.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
He's I'll never say, I'll.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Never do it ever again. It's retired. I look at
him differently now, man, you look at him.

Speaker 6 (06:55):
I don't expose my palate to trash like spaghettios. Does
it make me any less of a real one?

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Yeah? Man, you lost your card, your car. It's been
revoked bruh food snob. Yeah, man.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
And and then the fact that you would bring Loreina
in on on that hateful.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Behavior, almost going to get into it.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Those little those little rings were looking a little appetizing
because I know how smuchy they are.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
Listen, look, she tells me she was already on my side,
and that you convinced her to otherwise.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Tastes like poverty to me.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
But I just think that is crazy, y'all talking about
poor people food. That is crazy, just for people listening
out the poverty they'reking their ass off to pay for
the holidays.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Just know you got that ain't Yeah, that ain't us.
You got friends that ain't us talking like that. So
when you next time y'all see Coop.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
And Loraina out, make sure you don't offer them anything
because it probably isn't up to their standard of what
it is that they would put on their pallets.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Michelin Star restaurant next week. That is really ridiculously. No, Look,
it's not even. It's not even because it's cheap.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
Like there's other like you know, type of like poor
foods that are good like ramen. He just said, he
said poor food again. I put it in quotes because
you that's what you said.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Poor foods, poor people.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
That's what I said. Now you're gonna travistad you just
white boy me. You gonna you gonna make it like
I said it. That's what you did. Oh that's what
you said. You people are I'm gonna get arrested for
what did what Coop said and did he did it.
He's the one who said it. He's guilty, Like, oh no, no,

(08:39):
you just tried to turn around and saying that. I'm
saying it's nasty because it's like cheap food. It's nasty
because it's nasty. It has nothing to do with that.
How you guys are the one calling it peasant and
poor food.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I am.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
I am totally If it walks like disappointed and disgusted
by the conversation points that you guys have brought to
the table, I'm just telling you, and whoever's out there
listening at three oh nine or six o nine or
four oh nine in the morning, right now five oh
nine in the morning, they're discussed with both of you
as well. I'm just telling you, I'm speaking for the people.

(09:15):
What y'all have just said is totally out of pocket
and inappropriate and and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
It makes me want to go to home deep. I'll
tell you that right there, you go.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Makita tools at the home Depot are built precision, without shortcuts,
designed for the toughest jobs. It's the choice for pros.
When the job calls for the best, call on Mikita
bilt to be the best available for the at the
home depot. How pros get more done? Yeah, it's disgusting. Uh,
their their behavior, not the y Spaghettio. It's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Man. We do have a follow up. I mean we
did talk about it. Yeah, I'll be listened.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
We speculated that this was the direction this was heading,
and it headed that way, and it headed that way
in a hurry.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
The Miami Dolphins have got a new QB one in
South Beach, and that QB one is Quinn Yours Tua Tugobailoa,
the starter, the franchise quarterback, the two hundred plus million
dollar quarterback. He is now third on the depth chart
behind Quinn Yours and Zach Wilson. So that'll be your

(10:16):
your starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins as they head
into this weekend's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and Tua
himself spoke about his reaction to the news yesterday.

Speaker 7 (10:27):
Naturally, I'd say, I'm disappointed. I think it's normal, it's
an omal human emotion, you know. Outside of that, I
got to do my part. My role here right now
is to help whoever the quarterback is going to be
for the team, to lead this team. I can help
in whatever way I can, you know, to help the
team win in this game on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Why do you think this has happened?

Speaker 7 (10:50):
I would say it's the biggest thing, and it's being
honest with myself as well.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Had been my performance.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
I haven't been performing up to the level and the
capabilities that have invested.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
We played you last time with the Dolphins. I'm not
too sure. I can't predict the future. I can't you know,
you get any of that. So it is what it is.

Speaker 7 (11:10):
And as I said, you got to help out Q,
got to help out Zach, whoever the starter is or
is going to be, to do what I can.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
To help them in that role and helping the team
in the games.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
All right, So there's two discussing the news at a
South Beach Chester and you.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Can stay cool and you can stay calm and collect
it because you're a professional, and that's what it sounds
like he did, Jonas. But you can also stay cool,
calm and collect it when you know you got that bag.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Before your gut bench. Yeah. Yeah, he's good. You know,
he's good.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Like, Hey, you know, it didn't work out the way
that we'd like for it to work out, but hey,
that's for the Dolphins to figure it out. I'm gonna
I'm gonna have to do what I need to do
to make sure Q and and Zach are are ready
to go whoever it is that's going to start.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
From his words, you know.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
I think this is a sign that Mike McDaniel is
going to be back next year.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
Well, I thought it was a sign that he's saving
his job. I want to save my job.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Because well, I look at it and I go, there's
no way that Mike McDaniel thinks that, because if he
really needed to win out to save his job, then
Tua would still be the starter.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
I don't think so.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
Really, it's not about winning out because these are hard
games that they're going to have to play.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
I don't think it's about winning out.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
I think Mike McDaniel recognizes that, Look, maybe he needs
a refresher, maybe he needs to sit back. You're not listen.
They're not going to be able to trade him. You
can cut him. It's going to be one.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Hundred million dollars. So like all that.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
You know, So that's not on the table because nobody's
taking that contract and the Dolphins don't want to eat
a hundred million dollars in dead cap. Then they look
at this and go, what's the best way for us
to get this back on track and heading in the
direction that it was heading when he was playing at
his best under Mike McDaniel. And that's dude, just sit out,
all right, let's let's start fresh next year, and let's

(13:08):
let's try and figure this thing out again. Because if
it was about Mike McDaniel wanting to save his gig
or wanting to win out, I don't know how you
think quin yours is an upgrade on.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
I'm gonna take it a step further. Here's a step further.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
Maybe because head coaches always have conversations with front office
people after games. Maybe after the game they had a
conversation or the day after they had a conversation, and
they let the coach know, we're okay with it. We're

(13:45):
okay with you sitting to a We're okay with you
trying to figure it out with one of these other
guys that's behind him. We're okay with that. You're not
going to lose your job. So maybe it's to your
point if he was trying to win his keep his
job or whatever, some assurance. Here's the insurance you can benching. Yeah,

(14:06):
do it with confidence. Don't do it thinking that all this, this,
that and the other is going to happen. We got
your back. Yeah, that's possibly what took place. Yeah, maybe,
like now that I'm like kind of really trying to
like roll it in my head, like maybe that's what
took place.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Yeah, because it just it's kind of a I mean,
there there is the potential that you know, they they
went out and all of a sudden, you know, outside
of the loss that they just suffered against Pittsburgh, that's
a pretty strong finish to a season.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Correct that they had following nice winning streat.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Yeah, following the firing of their GM and Tyreek Hill
being out and for being fair to Mike McDaniel, it's
not as if they put them in the best position
to win this offseason. I mean, Jalen Ramsey, like, there
was moves that they made where I remember having the
conversation with Albert brew was going to join us later
on before the year, and Breer was just kind of like, well,

(14:58):
it's kind of rebuild without actually saying that there's a
full blown rebuild happening, like you have to you have
your butt. People are looking at the Dolphins going is
this really the best roster you could have on the
field for a team that you think is going to
go out there and really compete in that division.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
And it played out exactly that.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
So I just wonder if Mike McDaniel got that reassurance
that you mentioned and felt like, look, this is the
best thing for the situation. He's not playing. Well, there's
some people who were, you know, who think it landed
wrong that he's on the field celebrating or I'm not celebrating.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
He wasn't celebrating, but he was with Jaalen.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
They was they were key key in it up and
you're you're just way too happy. You're way too happy
to have just lost a big game. And listen, some
people that to me, that's like it's kind of almost
like a little bit like cap like, you don't get
to judge that man. If that man has put in
his work and he's put in his time and the
job is done, you can't no matter how mad you

(15:59):
get or how whatever you are, you can't change the
result of the game. Now you may say, well, maybe
that's the reason why they lost. He wasn't taking it
seriously enough. It's not for you to make that determination
or that judgment. So I would hate for that to
be a part of why people are upset and wanted,
you know, to see that he didn't play anymore.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
That's one of his homeboys.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
You see your homeboys after the game, they could have
been talking about somebody something that was really really near
and dear to their friendship. I don't have a problem
with dude key keyen with with Jaylen Ramsey after the game.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
But I will say the biggest issue.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Here has been the ongoing discussion of Tua not being
the guy. That's too much of the conversation at the moment.
And again, just like the conversation we had yesterday, I
think you know what you're getting with Tua at this point.

(16:54):
You know what you're getting, so you got three games left.
You don't, you're not going to make the playoffs. Why
not see what you have in yours. He's a very
very interesting name and player on your roster. The guy
had great success in a very very good, good showing

(17:16):
as a Texas Longhorn.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Why not see what you have? And I think that
that's the direction they're going. Now.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
What I will say is, ultimately you said, what does
that mean or taking it into a new start, a
new fresh start for next year for Tua. I don't
know what you do with Tua. And I think that
I made that very clear yesterday and I'll make it
very clear again this year. And I said, if they
bench him, you've now basically cut the legs from out

(17:46):
under them. I'm not bringing back a player that I
know everybody in the locker room is having questions, especially
after he called Cats out. They have questions surrounding how
they feel about him being the starter.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
You benching, You didn't.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
You didn't deactivate him like Jaydon Daniels in Washington.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
You didn't.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
You're not preserving his health, like we're not gonna win,
get healthy come back next year.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
They didn't present it that way.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
They could have presented it that way, and there's no
conversation about it. Right, three games left, let's just see
what we got in in our backups, Like we don't
want you to get hurt. Da da da, No, he's disappointed.
Why you think you're not playing because of my performance?
Very very direct correlation of why he's not playing. It
really exposes the question of you're going to have your night?

(18:41):
Is impossible for you to be able to just trade
him and move on from them if you, like you
said the dig cap, if you just let him go.
So now the question becomes what do you do with
Tua moving forward? If you're the Miami Dolphins, if you
have him on the bench, that's like dang, Like, okay,
you got Cleveland Brown's two point zero. You got a

(19:03):
major money dude sitting on the bench while you've moved
on and he's just there, or you let him go,
or you try to trade him, And probably the best
move is to try to trade him, and you got
to eat a whole lot of money in the trade
to do it, and I don't know who would do it.
But ultimately, the most complex question that you have coming

(19:27):
out of this announcement is what.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Do you do with Tua.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Now, I mean, you throw it out there if anybody's
you know, if there's any takers, anybody out there that says,
oh yeah, you know, we'll take that con which there's
not going to be, but we'll take that contractor we'll
do the or you know, we'll offer up the like
you throw it out there. But I think Miami just
looks at this and says, all right, we must this up. Coach,
you'll be You'll be back next year. We're going to
do this again with Tua. Probably create a little bit

(19:53):
of a quarterback competition there like we've seen in years past,
whether it be you know, Marcus Mariota and Ryan Tannehill
like Tennessee like they'll they'll probably create something along those lines.
Maybe there's an intriguing free agent out there that could
make him say, look, I mean you want to talk
about the system he comes from and Mac Jones. I mean,
maybe Mac Jones is a signing that you bring in

(20:14):
and go listen, Mac had success in the Shanahan system.
That's where Mike McDaniel comes from. Maybe Mac Jones could
be a guy that's brought in for a little bit
of competition. But I just I saw that yesterday, and
I thought Mike McDaniel had to have had some sort
of reassurance at some level to know, Hey, if you

(20:35):
make this.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Move, don't worry, like, don't go ahead?

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Yeah like not if do it, like, let's says what
we got.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Yeah, let's see how he responds.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
I mean, if he's if he's you know, regressed this year,
then it's a year involving him calling out teammates.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Let's see how he likes this move.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
And let's see if he comes back next year and
he's fired up, and who knows, we lose a couple
of these games, our draft stock improves and we've got
a couple of top ten picks, or we got a
top ten pick next year.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
And so yeah, I just I looked at that, Patty.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
You've crippled him. You want you want to see how
he responds to it. Have you ever seen a dude
with no knees walk? You have seen a dude with
no no ankles, no feet walk.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
I have no legs. I have no legs. I have
no legs.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
That's how they did to a like he's not there
is no way to respond to it, Like it's it's
over it's over.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
You're you're telling toua it's a rat.

Speaker 7 (21:32):
You know.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
It's pretty sweet though, What checks are still going to cash? Yeah?
Yeah they are. That's sweet. Yeah they are.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
That's why you could be cool, Like, all right, it
didn't work out, it's to work out same. I got
a national title. I'll be a college football Hall of Famer.
I got paid. I'm happy I got my health. I mean,
for what it's worth, I did take on some concussions.
I did take some of head injuries on. Like I'm
a just chill. Yeah, Like, whatever decision they make, it's

(22:03):
going to impact.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
My future positively. Anyway. If you don't play me anymore,
what are you going to do?

Speaker 4 (22:09):
Yeah, I just get to So you're saying, I just
get to get out here, throw the ball in practices,
Encourage guys, pray for him, I mean, be a good
stored over them as a mentor.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
Got got dinged up a little bit. I mean later
on in life, he'll be, you know, brushing his teeth
with a breadstick. Probably, you know, at least he got

Speaker 2 (27:06):
So we've got another.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Edition of in case you missed it coming up here
in about fifteen minutes from now. Rick Berkholder is the
Chief's VP of Sports Medicine and Performance, and yesterday he
spoke about the Patrick Mahomes surgery and the recovery.

Speaker 9 (27:24):
After seeing the MRI and my doctor saw it, they
said everything that he had in this injury was fixable, correctable,
and it was fixed on Monday night by doctor Cooper.
He had no artery damage, no nerve damage, no joint
surface damage, no meniscal damage. He's already started rehab down

(27:46):
in Dallas. He was their first thing Tuesday morning and
he'll do that through tomorrow and then he'll be back
here Friday. As you know in the past with Patrick
and his injuries, he attacks him and does very well,
and he's that mode right now. I've talked to him
every day. I know Coach has too, and he's already
he's already on it. He'll return here Friday and for

(28:08):
the majority of the rehab he'll do it with my staff,
and in particular Julie Freimeyer who's done is uh dislocated patella,
his toe injury, and his ico injuries.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
So that's Rick Burkholder, the chiefs VP of Sports Medicine
and Performance, talking about the Patrick Mahomes injury, the surgery,
the recovery timeline, and there's just like there's been so
many different variations of what the injury was. What was clean,
you know, it was just an ACL then you find
out no, it's the LCL two and it was well,

(28:39):
he's traveling, he's gonna get surgery done later this week. No,
as a matter of fact, he's going to get it
done Monday night. And it's it's just and I know
that everybody's looking at this like, hey, let's hope you can.
You know, we're gonna like their target is, you know,
beginning of next year. Dude, just take your time, man Like,
let's let's not rush back and have any sort of

(29:00):
setback or issue or anything pop up, you know, anything
like a Deshaun Watson where you re injure yourself and
all of a sudden there's a problem. Like I think
everybody remembers, you know, Chase Young, what happened to Chase
Young after he suffered his injury and what that turned
into completely changed the course of his career. It's like
everyone's like, yeah, you know, we think there's a chance

(29:20):
he could be back week one, dude, Just like like, like,
you're hopeful there's a long career after this, Like take
take your time, man. Like I look at next year
for the Chiefs and I go, that's that's kind of
a not a throwaway year, but kind of a it's
gonna be what it's going to be, and and you
hope for the best.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
But you know, I don't.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Think twenty twenty six is the year to look at
and judge Patrick Mahomes with an acl It feels like
it's always the following.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
Year that's the one.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
Everybody's bodies respond differently to traumas, and some people have
high pain tolerance, some people have very low pain tolerance.
Some people he'll heal up very quickly, some people don't.
So the only people that are going to really know
are the people that are closest to him, and really

(30:09):
he's going to be the only one that knows how
he truly feels as this thing progresses on. Let's let's
like kind of establish that to begin with. Now where
he's at in his career, all that he's accomplished, and
I'm sure things that he still wants to try to
accomplish as he moves forward. I don't think it's in

(30:34):
jeopardy by by the injury. But one thing you have
to know is once an injury of that magnitude takes place,
there is a difference.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Now.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
Obviously Tom Brady dealt with a torn torn a cl
as well at one point in his career, right, he
towards a cl miss miss missed the season, right.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
And it was the opening game following the the near
perfect season, that's right.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
Was it the Steelers? I think it was Cincinnatiency. I
think the Steelers heard a Cincinnati quarterback. Anyway, he can
come back and be just as good, maybe even better.
I don't know, like some of the some of the
things he's able to do, he's able to do it
because he's a mobile quarterback when he needs to be mobile,
and that makes a difference. Does that change his game?

(31:26):
I mean, we just got finished speaking on on Tua.
It was actually the Chiefs Iron the Chiefs, Oh, Bernard Pollard,
Oh yeah, yeah, that was the safety.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
That's interesting.

Speaker 4 (31:39):
Looking at where he's at in his his career. Will
he not just brought up to a Will this injury
change the way he plays the game? I think concussions
changed the way tua plays the game. And the TUA
that is avoiding getting hit is not as good or

(32:03):
effective as the TUA that will run and hold it
and do what he needs to do even if he
gets the life knocked out of him. Patrick Mahomes is
a guy that scrambles, yeah, and he buys himself time
and more often than not, when a player loses one
of their superpowers, they're either able to overcompensate with another

(32:28):
and everything is okay, or or they're not. They're never
the same player because the dynamics that made them what
they were don't exist at the level that they do
in every category. So I think it's a very intriguing
story more so than anything else. Injuries happen all the time,

(32:52):
big players, you know, no name players, it doesn't matter.
Injuries do not discriminate. It's like they don't pass over
on guys like Patrick Mahomes because oh he's a megastar.
He's a juggernaut in the game. Injuries come for all
of us, and and so how he responds to it
will tell himself a lot about himself, which is most important.

(33:14):
And I think the people who watch him play it'll
tell them a lot about who he is as a competitor,
you know, and probably as a person as well when
you see the way that he plays. But yeah, I
think that the stories of it, the reporting of it
is is probably more kind of like soap operaish, you know,

(33:35):
more cinematic, like movie documentary.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
Two stars on both sides of the ball, injured in
the same same game, same afternoon, like Michael Parson, same
Patrick Mahomes. So yeah, it's kind of a kind of
a jarring reality of the NFL and a reality of football.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
And that is the reality that is the reality is
that it's everybody gets hurt.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
Now how bad the injuries are, and you know.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
You'd like to believe that, you hope that they're not
too bad, but everybody gets hurt.

Speaker 1 (34:08):
That's why I wonder because like if you and look, man,
there's you know, a deeper dive that would need to
be done to go into this stuff. But if you're
just looking on the surface. Tom Brady following his injury
year twenty eight touchdowns, thirteen picks. Tom Brady, the year
after his injury year thirty six and four like so

(34:29):
or the year after you know, two years later. Yeah, so,
like that just goes to well, you know, maybe that
was something to do with he felt more confident, he
felt like he was more himself, you know, and he
suffered that injury in week one. Brother, this is December, Like, yeah,
this is so this idea isn't pretty much open. Yeah, Like, oh,

(34:50):
he's you know, he's like, we're aiming for week one.
That's why I look at the news and everyone's talking about, well,
we'll be back week one. I'm like, look, man, just
take your time. I think if I'm predicted, I think
he starts the season on the pup list and it's
going to be at least the first four games.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
That we're not going to see Patrick Mahomes next year.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
And that's probably the wise decision when it comes to
all this stuff like the same. That's why I wonder
whose recovery is more not that, you know, like it's
not don't do that, well, no, let me ask you this,
but let me ask you this.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
They're both equally important. It's not about importance.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
But who would you say has a more difficult time
playing the way that they play following this injury, Micha
or Patrick.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
Yeah, because you know he has to take on the
stress of these big guys leaning on him. Yeah, he
has to be able to turn the corners stuff like that.
So that's when when you say six months for me,
I I I would be bullish on saying Patrick Mahomes
will be back by the beginning of next season. I

(35:54):
don't think he starts on a pupp list. I think
he's back. Micah Parsons starts on pupp list and isn't back.
And it's all about being able to trust your leg again.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
It's it's a very very uh.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
It's a scary feeling not trusting your body when your
body has to produce the type of physical energy and
power and strength and quickness and speed all at one
time and then over and over and over and over
and over again for.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
A pass rusher.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
That's that's a that is a very daunting task to
get to the point of where you can trust your
your your your leg not being you know, in a
situation because you don't you remember the pain. Yeah, you're right,
you remember you remember how it felt, you remember how

(36:55):
how it went down, And that's very It's always say Jonas,
I know we gotta get to a break, but always
say it's interesting because when you have these types of
injuries take place, you diagnose it, you analyze it, you
create a plan, and then you attack it and you
rehabit and you fix it and then you're a healthy

(37:15):
a game, right, But nobody ever does the same assessment
for the mental emotional health of it, Like what is
the plan for that?

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (37:24):
Right, it's probably just as important as it is the
physical rehab and plan of what it is. But you
never hear about it is never a part of what
takes place.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
When did you feel right again with your achilles? Never?

Speaker 4 (37:37):
And that's why I was done. I didn't once it happened.
I just was like, I checked out. I didn't want
to do it anymore. I don't want to feel that
type of pain anymore based off of something that I'm doing.
I don't love this game enough to send my body
through what I'm going through right now and the pain

(37:59):
of what I'm feeling right now. Hell no, hell no.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
Well, you ever wanted to try an Olympic and Paralympics sport.
You know, maybe try fencing after I got that achilles impact.
Easy to start, find a beginner class near you at
USA Fencing dot org slash try fencing. That's USA Fencing
dot org slash try Fencing. Up Next is another edition
of In case you missed it right here at FSR.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
I could have put some hot sauce on the achilles
tendon too. Well, I'll tell you what. Put it on
a grill, cook it up, smoke it for a couple
of hours, probably would have been good. No, but seriously,
you want some hot lead to some hotly debated topics. See, well,
who's the MVP and this year's this year is pouring.

(38:45):
You know who's who's the one that, who's the one
that really really has everybody talking about him, who's excited
about him?

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Well?

Speaker 4 (38:53):
That most valuable poor it belongs to none other than
the original Louisiana Hot Sauce. That's right, here's why it's
the MVP of this year's sauce pores amazingness. It's because
of the original Louisiana Hot Sauce is made from three
hard hitting ingredients. Listen to this peppers, mind blower, vinegar,

(39:18):
and salt. I know, I really really shook y'all up
on that one. I surprised y'all. Y'all knew that those
were secret ingredients. Well, they've been doing it for close
to one hundred years, and they've been doing it at
a very very high level. So they found the perfect
balance of heat and flavor. And that's MVP material. So listen,
you want to know what makes a Valuable poor and

(39:40):
what makes Valua poor different? Well, it's because other hot
sauces their second string and they don't bring the heat
and the balance like original Louisiana hot sauce. On game day,
you know what, dress any of your favorite eats with
ease drizzle, the nachos, the burgers, the pizzas, the gumbos.

(40:00):
Your taste is going to score and you will be
the toast of the town, of the party, of the tailgate.
But you can only do that if you get you
some Louisiana legacy. In that Louisiana legacy. When you want
that most Valuable Poor, you want to own the title,
you gotta get you some original Louisiana hot sauce. All right,

(40:22):
it's not just my MVP, it's my VP. Make sure
you get some. That's Louisiana hot. Make sure you bye
you soon.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
