(00:24):

Speaker 1 (00:46):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
It is two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio. LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you no,
Brady Quid will be back on the show coming up
on Monday, hopefully.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
I mean, who knows.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
I'm just saying, with his run of travel luck recently,
probably not something we can guarantee. But that is the
plan with Sticks and I will take you all the
way up until nine a m. We sent time six
o'clock Pacific, and we'll do it all live from the
ti rack dot com studios. Tirac dot com will help
you get there an unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free
road hazard protection, then over ten thousand recommended installers tire
(01:23):
rack dot com. The way tire buying should be fun.
Night in the NBA if you are not the number
one seed in either conference. The Boston Celtics getting mutilated
and the Oklahoma City Thunder lose to the Dallas Mavericks,
and you probably think of to yourself, well, I'm sure
you got some postgame sound you can play, Yeah, but
(01:44):
just not really considering that while Luca was having his
postgame press conference, I have no idea there was a
what there was a woman moaning in the background. Cated
some speculation to where exactly.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
It was coming from, and uh.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Maybe somebody was watching something they shouldn't have been watching
as the press conference started, or maybe somebody got a
you know, a head start.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
On the the after party and just said just needed
a little attention, you know. I mean sometimes that people
just be neating attention, like Pat Beverly, you know, cats
like that. You know, people be needing some attention. Man'
that's what it seems to come down to.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Did you ever have a postgame press conference?
Speaker 1 (02:32):
You know what's crazy? I never had a postgame press conference.
Well not even at like geez so, not even I had,
you know, the media surround me at my always did
it at my locker. I didn't never.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Really that sucks. Yeah, I never did a podium You
would have had somebody moaning in the background.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
I mean, I guess if I was lucky, you know
I got I guess if I was lucky enough to
know maybe.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah. So if you were wondering, uh, where you can
find that stuff, you can find it on social media.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Oh, we don't want to play it, you know, it
could be kids going to school, you know, maybe not
the most appropriate thing in the world. I would love
for us to play it. Yeah, what do you think, Coop? Yeah,
there you go.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Please let that be on the air. I wish that
was on here just.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
So clearly too. Bo I'll tell you what man that was?
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Uh dang, yeah, so superstar, I know who knew? Who knew?
That cute little kid wish that his dad wasn't a
you know, pathological liar in a movie would turn into
a foul mouth like he is here Audi show making
fun of somebody's truck from the early two thousands.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
But nonetheless, uh, that is where we're at.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
When it could look like.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
We're tires on it when it comes to uh, it
comes to the Dallas Mavericks taking and I also thought
about them.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
You know, can I say this about the Boston Celtics.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
What are you saying this?
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Go be it?
Speaker 2 (04:07):
I just it's one of the most annoying teams that
should be great, that shows dominance, was the best team
in the league all year long, and yet they'll do
crap like this, and it kind of reminds it's almost
like people that have they don't believe in cheat meals.
(04:27):
They'll have cheat days where they're like, well, you know,
I already had like a piece of cinnamon toast for breakfast.
I'll just let it all go today and next thing.
You know, they've got pringles in the glove box. They've
got you know, pizza for lunch. Uh, they got a
rack of ribs. After that, they've got to have like
a cheeseburger and fries with a you know, a double
(04:47):
milkshake afterwards, and then they'll well, you know, I gotta
have dessert because it's my cheat day. It's like the
Celtics look at it and go, you know, if we're
gonna lose, let's just get annihilated, Like, let's go out
and get embarrassed and look like we're not we're not
even trying, and then we'll just figure it out in
game three like we did against Miami, and then in
Game four, and then we'll just you know, finish this
series off in five or six games.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
It's got to be annoying if you're somebody who bets
on the Celtics, or if you're somebody who's expecting a
team like that who comes in as big of a favorite.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
As they are to get wiped out at home like
they do wiped out. It's just weird.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Man.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
It's just a shooting league now. Everybody just shoots. Like
I'm sitting there here even watching the highlights, like when
the team gets hot and they're making making shots.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
It's just hard. It's hard.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
It's hard to win unless your defense is the type
of defense that can you know, can slow you down.
But I mean Cleveland they were on, you know, they
were they were, they were hot in the second half,
and you know, it's just one of those things. I
think that it's I don't know, they they just they
(06:00):
I don't think that's sustainable for Cleveland.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Lived by the three, died by the three. I mean
both teams. That's that's the only way in Miami got
a game in the previous series because they got hot
in game two, Like it looked a lot like what
that game two look like. And it's just like afterwards,
you know, it says, eh, you know, I mean, yeah,
bad game. Well yeah, you just got destroyed at home
(06:22):
by twenty five twenty six points, Like you know, it's
more than that, Like there's a problem here and it's
just okay, well we're just gonna, you know, I have
a bad game and we'll come back. It's like, okay,
all right, I guess that's guess that's how we're doing it.
I mean, if you're gonna lose lose in that fashion,
but nonetheless, at least we got some series. At least
we got some competitive series, and we got a one
(06:43):
to one between the top team, the Celtics in the
East and the Cavs and a one one between the
Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks. And who knows, uh, maybe
we'll get some postgame moans in game three for that
series as well. That's crazy, man, it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
I mean some people do. Look people, people like, what
what are you doing? People? Lucas, like, I hope that's
not life? Like you do know that he's like to
say it, like I believe he's what he's meaning, is
I hope that's not real life? You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Like, I hope that's not like really going on.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
So this was my speculation because I don't know the
how close I don't know in Oklahoma City, Jonas, I
don't know how.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
I never heard that before.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
I know I heard I figured to help you out.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
That's foreign language to me. But so I wonder, and
I don't know how the how it's built there at.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
The arena, Oh my gosh, is that it?
Speaker 1 (07:42):
But I wonder you're done? What do you mean you're done?
You know you do have the full song. You paid
for the full song, didn't you.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
But I just I wonder if the way that the
arena is built, if maybe the showers, if maybe the
showers are close to where the press conference was at,
and maybe somebody was, you know, on a website or too.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Is that what you think? I don't know, trying to get.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
To the bottom of this.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
It was too loud. It was too loud, so you
think it was I think we should hear the sound.
I mean, it doesn't seem like it's a I think.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
We should hear the sound. I'll let all right, a
go ahead.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
We were open shots, so I'm just how sharing the
ball and our energy was great? Do you think? Okay?
Moving on?
Speaker 2 (08:51):
I mean listening what I don't know what they do
in yoga classes.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Now, maybe there was one going on. Maybe they saw
a roach or a rat or something. You know, that's
the noise you make when you see a rat.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
I mean, maybe it was.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
A tennis match. That's a good one. Yeah they were
playing tennis, and yeah they were game set and match. Yeah,
advantage malfunction the window open. No, now we're assuming that
(09:38):
it was not involving Patrick Beverley because it wouldn't be
on ESPN.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
No, no, that would not be on ESPN. But you know,
Pat Beverly was probably celebrating somewhere the fact that he
only got suspended four games, which look, I know they're
listening statewide in Wisconsin right now. I can't imagine there's
anybody in Wisconsin talking about the Bucks who are going,
oh yeah, four games. Seems seems right about where we
(10:05):
expected this to be. The guy threw a spaulding at
somebody's face and then threw it again, yeah, twice, and
got popped four games. What am I missing here? Like,
do you imagine in the NFL somebody took a football
and threw it at somebody's face and then got the
(10:25):
ball back and then threw it again, like actually made
contact with their face. They're probably getting suspended four to
five games, But that's a fourth or so of the
season in the NBA. Four games, like a big whoop,
and that's all he gets is four games for that.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
I don't know what you were expecting.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
I thought we were looking at like a ten game minimum,
and apparently that's not the case.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
I just wonder was there any legal action that was taken.
They're investigating it. Yeah, I did see that figure that.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
It's like the punishment ESPN gave him where they him
from appearing on any other.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Which wasn't even based off of that.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yeah, it was based on the postgame interaction. Like that
was a harsher punishment than the four games he got
for throwing a.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Ball band him. You can't come on ESPN like you
know how.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Many players are probably thinking of themselves like, wait a second,
all the crap that gets said to us during a game,
I only get suspended four games if I throw a
ball at somebody in like, that's probably worth the four
game suspension to be able to rifle a ball to somebody's.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Dumb I mean, he didn't get his money's worth. He
chest passed it. It wasn't like he could hurt somebody
got it right in the side of the head and
she didn't even do it. I could see if he
like really stepped into it or whatever. It wasn't egregious.
It was just uncalled for and unnecessary and the conduct
(11:48):
of it should not be tolerated. And again, you know
TJ made a great point on and this is why
I think the penalties should have been harsher and why
what you're saying makes a whole lot of sense, Jonas
is what if that incited what happened in Malice in
the Palace, Like think about this, like you threw the ball,
(12:11):
you hit a young lady in the side of her head.
I do believe there were dudes that were next to her. Yeah,
And I'm just you know, we we made the conversation
point like, Okay, what if that's the Rrington family. What
if that's the hushman zide of family. What if that's
the Burst family. Which, by the way, if you wanted
to hear that, you can go to up on game
you know wherever it is to get your podcast, listen
(12:31):
to it, you know what I mean. But I'm not
standing there like, oh, you just hit my wife upside
to hit right especially do anything. I'm coming to get it.
And I'm telling you right now, that security guard that
stands behind the NBA bench, it ain't gonna be good enough.
(12:52):
Not if you hit my wife upside to hit I'm
I'm not a violent man. I don't pretend to be
this this you know due that's going jack people up.
But that's what that's there's a no no, there's there's
a couple no nos. Voilating your family is a no no,
and that could have incited some type of some type
of riot. You run down, you run down to throw
(13:16):
down on them. Then the players are going to try
to help their teammate. So now they're in it. The
fans see it, there's going to be at least one
or two fans that feel like, hey, I want to
get some of this. I'm going to go get in it.
And but now you've got a melee taking place at
the game, all because he threw the ball. That to
(13:37):
me is the reason. It's not what didn't happen, or
excuse me, it's not what happened. That is the reason
why I would say four games that throwing the ball
is it's dumb, it's dumb to do it, it's not professional.
But it's what could have happened. It's what could have
(13:58):
it's what did not happen, And is the reason why
I'm gonna give a firmer disciplinary action against that player, because,
like you said, if you're like I got four games,
you're not gonna think twice about possibly maybe acting out
that way. But what if the next time that happened
(14:19):
the people you hit wasn't playing that type of game.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Yeah, Like you said, a precedent.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Now, now you got a whole thing where you got
to sort the whole thing out. I just you know,
I think you had to be a little bit more
firmer on that so that you don't have, you know,
a level of comfort of sorts to to actually do
something extra as it applies to taking what you do
into the stands with the fans. So not in that manner.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
So when we talked about when the suspensions came out
for guys in the NFL that were gambling on on
games and all that stuff, and it came out and
it was like, well they got suspended for an entire year,
and it was like damn, like there's serious. Like that
was sort of a flare gun up into the sky
of NFL players being like, Hey, you mess around, this
(15:07):
is what happens. You set a tone, you set a precedent.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Tom banned a guy in basketball.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, but like you you set a tone, you set
a precedent, Like, this is what will happen if you
go down that road?
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Is more important?
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Yeah, well, like, but the point is is that on
the opposite end of that. Now you've set a precedent that, hey,
if you do this and you base and which is assault.
He threw something at somebody and hit him in the
side of the head, that didn't do anything, they weren't involved,
and then did it again and you only got four games.
Like I don't know how, like like what was what
(15:39):
was the conversation, Like, I don't know how that.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
I think that's a conduct issue, and I think you're right.
And I gotta say, I think you're right.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Jamal Murray throwing a heat pack on the floor and
then flashing the money sign, well he got you gotta
find one hundred thousand dollars no suspension. Yeah, Like it's just.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
Like there's one thing, like I know you want to
be the quich one is wors though, throwing a heapad
on the floor, throwing the ball out all.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
The basketball easily, Yeah, the basketball, because I mean, you
know you throw the heat that's within the game.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yeah, and this is your assault. I think that should
have got him a game. Honestly, yes, at least a game.
I totally agree, shot least him.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
And it didn't.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
And then Pat Beverly gets four get it. Just the
whole thing. I don't I don't get the thought process
behind it. It doesn't make any sense to me. But
watch if something like this happens again and one of
these NBA players is like, hey listen, man, like, we're
we're on a bad team. We're getting it from the
fans if I'm only going to get four games. And
(16:39):
and by the way, this is a guy in Patrick
Beverly who's had issues in the past. So so there's
been stuff that's been in his past where he's had problems, altercation, shoven,
Chris Paul in the back, all of that, so it's
not like he's a first time offender. Stuff has happened.
And still he only got four games, all right, man, Like, Okay,
(16:59):
I know Adam Silver wants to be the cool guy
commissioner and he doesn't want to be David Stern. But
if this was David Stern, David Stern would have emptied it.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Had dropped him, Oh my god. Yeah, he would have
of course rolling over somewhere. Yeah, disgusted.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
But you don't have to be disgusted here on this
show because and this is really important, especially coming off
the heels of talking about nothing but NBA to open
up the show. It's a football right, oh yeah, oh yeah,
come on.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Right, oh no, got to block.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
Come on, spare finger, come.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
On, spare finger, Spare Binger, spring bigger spirit Finger, come on,
come on, come on up with that. That's enough of
that one. Let's do it right now. Let's do the
real day Friday night and y hey Friday go purp. Yeah,
come on, come on, I'm planning the Papertowl come on Friday.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you hair.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
That's all the reason why Lee likes to sol right
because the one Warren Buffet. I'm rounding me a boat.
Wrong Buffett, but I'll take it. H what's your off it? Jimmy,
there you go. Warn is the one that got all
the money. Yeah, JB is a billionaire or it was
you know your your Jimmy. Jimmy was a billionaire billionaire
(20:11):
with a B baby.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
No it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Yes, he was look up his network.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
Look it up.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Spend it all on cocka deals and booze cocka deals. Yeah,
it's a bird. I know it's a bird.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
So coming up in we'll call it about twenty minutes
one billion. That ain't true, Yeah, man, the ain't got
no one billion.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Dollar coming up in about twenty minutes from now from
the tire round dot.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
God it is. That's got We got a you left
a lot of money behind. I got we do have
an update on one of the big sporting events coming up.
It's gonna be real tough for you. You think that
got be happy in the afterlife? Man, if you believe
in the afterlife, do you think, like, hey, you know what,
I created some high net worth in the life. I
(21:02):
was just in like, do I get a VIP entrance?
Like when you go knocking on Heaven's door or wherever
it is that that you believe you go? Is there
like VIP lines? And you know, because you gotta believe
that that's a that's a long ass line that. Yeah, Well,
I believe a lot of people are in line, you
know what I mean? So how many people you think
(21:22):
die in a day? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
I haven't thought about that.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Just wondering because it's like, man, like, Okay, I'm out here,
Like where am I?
Speaker 3 (21:32):
Oh you're in.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Line taking number fifty five thousand, window eight.
Speaker 7 (21:40):
One hundred and fifty thousand people die a day.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Think about that. That's a long gas line. Do you
have VIP lines?
Speaker 2 (21:46):
You know what I mean? Do you have membership card lines? Alphabetical?
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Alphabetical?
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Maybe.
Speaker 7 (21:53):
Meanwhile, three hundred and eighty five thousand babies are born today.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
That's bad math. The numbers is going up.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
It adds up when you see how much more traffic
there is on the road.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
Oh bro, it's bad. Yeah, it's bad. An hour and
a half to go thirty thirty miles, twenty miles.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Just disgusting, crazy, yeah, just ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
But anyway, yes, my bad. No, listen, I'm just saying.
I just you have a billion dollars. That's work when
you roll up out of here. I mean, I know
they say you can't take your money with you, but
god dang if you did that, well, you know what
I mean, Like like when your boy got up out
of here, who is the Microsoft dude or the Apple guy?
What Bill Gates? No, he's still alive. Which one is
(22:35):
the one that got up out of here, Steve Jobs. Yeah, dang,
Like did that? Did he have security escorty men? And
you know this way, mister Jobs, like like, here's the.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Door for you for you Like he gets there, like
it's like, hey, I'm Steve Jobs invented the iPhone. They're like, no, yeah,
Edgar over there, didn't cheat on his wife or fire anybody.
So I mean, like, what.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Do we talk He got to the other side there,
like we've been waiting for you, sir. Security details Steven
Steve has arrived security premises. Yeah, mister Jobs here, Yeah, yep.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
By the way, I don't know if he actually did
any of that stuff.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
I'm just saying, oh dang.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Part of you know, just discussing scenarios now speaking to
scenarios and speaking of firing people, you know, uh, robber
Craft in essence fired Bill Belichick.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
I mean he did and that gets that gets you know,
breezed over a little bit. But he did do that.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
And so we were wondering because you know, at this
Tom Brady roast, they took a shot on stage together
and it was like he's you know, talking about Belichick
and the greatest coach of all time and this and
that and we were kind of making the point that
if you actually look at Belichick, he didn't seem like
he really wants to be on stage doing a shot
with Robert Kraft.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
It looked like he should have had some some leather on. Yeah, yeah,
I mean, if you know what I mean. He looked
like he was ready to like get the job done,
like the job was going to get done to dates. Yeah, well,
with a with an empty golf bag in the back
of his car.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Ready ready to yeah, ready, something that aren't clubs. And
so you just looked at it and you go, all right,
So Belichick seems a little uncomfortable. He didn't seem like
he wanted to be there. And so Julian Edelman, former
Patriots wide receiver, was talking with Drew Bledsoe on Games
(24:33):
with Names podcast. I think we're running out of names
at this point. I mean, this is ridiculous. But he's
on the Games with Names podcast and he was describing
the interaction and the atmosphere between Belichick and Craft at
the Tom Brady Rose.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Ention in that room. Though it was it was real
head cut, it was, it was very real, real.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
I was so awkward.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
I was like I was watching coach, and I tried
to give coach a heads up.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
I'm like, I see Craft walking.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
I'm like, you know, coach, you know, like locker room
like five o five.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Oh, you know, like he did. Of course he didn't
see it right, and he came in and I was
just like, oh, this could be some fireworks. I just
walked away and.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Bledsoe went on to talk about how yeah, you know,
it seemed like they talked for you know, like fifteen
minutes in the green room and all that stuff. But
it's like you see the what has happened and you
see robber Craft come out afterwards after the you know,
the the Apple TV you know, Dynasty or whatever it's
called that was you know, put together by Robert Kraft
(25:38):
and Craft Production LLC or whatever it was, and you
see the stories that come out and just how they're
you know, they started to fracture towards the end, and
their relationship just deteriorated towards the final years, and Kraft
wasn't happy that he got rid of Belichick, like all
of the stuff that's gone on, and then to see
the way it ended, I just find it hard to
(25:59):
believe the Belichick going to be like, you know, water
under the Bridge. We spoke for fifteen minutes at the
Tom Brady Roast over a couple of cocktails and everything's fine.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Now. I just I find that hard to believe.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
And it feels like Robert Kraft knows that the documentary
and how Belichick's been portrayed has been a little bit
of a smear campaign, and that's why players have spoken
out in defense of him. And that's why I think
he went above and beyond to try and make it
seem like they were all on the same page and
he appreciated everything he did for him, because I think
(26:28):
Robert Craft knows he stepped in.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
And Tom Brady gave him the allotted him the opportunity
to do so. And that's probably you know, when you
think about it, as we continue to put more and
more of these types of details together, Was this a ploy?
Was the Tom Brady Roast a ploy only to really
really divert the attention and maybe lessen the attention or
(26:55):
lessen the blow of what seemingly has now become common knowledge,
which is what Robert Craft's intentions were connected to to
Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. Tom Brady's like, yeah, roast me.
But this gives me the opportunity to put everybody's eyeballs
in one place for Robert Kraft to fix his his image.
(27:19):
Like I do that for you, Like I know I
could have. I could have actually had Lorna que Us
up for for some you know, some unsolved mysteries or
what these conspiracy theories. But but I mean not that
I feel like listening to what you're saying and continue
like him step jumping up. Well, I mean I already
(27:40):
made the point. I mean, but it's fun. But if
you really think about it, he jumps up. He tells
the comedian, don't say that. That's again that had to
do with Robert Kraft. You you you finished the show
up with a toast and talking about giving you gave
Robert Kraft the ability to talk about one person in
(28:04):
specific in particular and haling him up. And that was
Bill Belichick, Like just maybe Tom Brady's like, look, I'm
gonna cash in, give me a quick little check. I'm
having a good time. I'm gonna drink me some cucumber
tequila after this this joint is, oh, some avocado tequila.
(28:25):
After this bad Boy is over, We're gonna have a
good ass time.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
You ever had halopeno?
Speaker 1 (28:30):
I have. It's really good meal. I had a poloma yesterday,
did you I did? I did? It was good too,
It was good. Yeah. I had nineteen forty two? Is
it nineteen forty two? Lee? Yes? I had a shot
at nineteen forty two? Because I know Lee would have her.
I'd be messing up the year all the time when
(28:50):
I don Pablo, right, Don Julio, Don Julio. Correct Polo, Yeah, uh, Julio.
That's my wife's uncle. Believe which one, Julio or Pablo
probably dolls.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
So, I mean, I'll say this, if that was the
reason behind getting everybody together to try and unite.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Those two, man just just came out of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
He might be the greatest teammate of all time because
he wore it from multiple people and he sacrificed his
personal life.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
And that's nothing though. Right he made the point like
you didn't even jump up, like, don't say that again.
You know they talk about jiu jitsu and all that stuff.
He'll beat your ass, dada da doesn't.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
I mean, he Brady had his opportunity and took some shots,
but he got carved up by a lot of people.
And I do find it funny though that that roast
there's been so much that it's led to conversation wise afterwards,
like you met, like a lot of people became well
(30:05):
known because of that one night. Like there's a lot
of those comics that are making the rounds doing interviews now,
So to like feel like, well, like Tony Hinchcliffe, we
were familiar with, you know, his stuff, and he you know,
he's a buddy of Joe Rogan's, but we didn't know
he was that good. And you're just seeing like everybody
sort of you know, get a little bit of something
out of that that I think was maybe unexpected. I
don't think a lot of people expected the NFL players
(30:28):
to be able to keep up the way they did,
and they let everybody have it. It just it's funny
how that roast ended up becoming what it became. And apparently,
you know, things were real. The tension was real between
Craft and Belichick.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
So I mean, why wouldn't it be real? Yeah, Belichick
was pissed, and I just I just feel like when
when you pull those types of personalities together, knowing everything
that took place, I said this before there was an agenda.
What was the agenda? Were there multiple agendas? Was there
(31:06):
one agenda? I think for certain the more you talk
about it, the more I listened to it, and knowing
the backstory of like you said, Bill Belichick was fired,
he was relieved of his duties. However you want to
look at it, how you want to call it, measure
it out. He was, he was let go. And Robert
Kraft is now known and synonymous with UH as you
(31:31):
mentioned a docu series or whatever that that depicts Bill
Belichick and not so shining a fashion and kind of
Robert Kraft is wearing that on his face. He needed
an opportunity. If it's as serious as as the conversation
(31:52):
with Albert Breer and que and yourself and me, that
this could actually keep him out of of the Hall
of Fame or at least make it harder for him
to get into the Hall of Fame. Why why would
this not be an opportunity for it? Clearly was an
opportunity for Robert Kraft to try to clear clear things up.
(32:15):
Clearly was Yeah, clearly was, and and maybe that's what
the roast was for.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
Yeah, it could be.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
I think you nailed it, and you didn't even know it,
but I think you nailed it that. I'm certain that
you're you're onto something there. I think it was yours
though these years, Yeah, maybe not think you pulled it.
Speaker 2 (32:35):

day Lewis.

There you go.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
My left foot's Daniel d Lewis. He's the dude.

Gary Oldman is a better actor than.

Gary Oldman is awesome. Daniel da Lewis is prolifically the better.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
The look who the hell you are when you're acting,
you're the best.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Gary Oldman is the actors actor. If you ask actors like, hey,
who's the guy? Daniel day Lewis, Gary Oldman the guy.
He was the pimp from True Romance, and he was
Oswald and JFK.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
He was Abraham Lincoln and he was Benny the butcher
dog like I mean. And he was in the country
for what No, No country for old folks or something
like that. No country, no, no, no, I was there
will be blood. He was in There will be blood.
You don't even know who he is, that's how good
(34:36):
of an actor he is. He's the dude in the
Last of the Mohicans. Did you know he was the
main dude in the Last of the Mohicans, not like,
come on man, the lasts playing around, bro, I'll take
Gary Oldman. Gary, and Gary, by the way, I'm pretty
sure he listens to this show. No proof of that,
but why wouldn't he.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Gary just wants you to know, I'll take you over
Daniel day Lewis any day of the week.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
Did this come up? Because we have Dark Knight on these.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Yeah, And it's like you see Gary Oldman in Dark
Knight and you go, he's like the cop with the
glasses and I'm like, that guy was the pimp and
true romance and wasn't he Also? Uh wow, god, what's
the the movie? I think he won the oscar for
it was Churchichill, Yeah, Winston Churchill. He was like, come on, man,
(35:20):
Gary Oldman, pound for pound.
Speaker 7 (35:23):
Well, it's not like it's not like Daniel d Lewis
doesn't have an oscar either, That's what I'm saying, Dane Cool.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
He's probably a kiss ass. I mean, you know this
one is just really good, all right, and he's better
than your guy. No, this is just disgusting, Daniel day Lewis.
Speaker 7 (35:38):
This this can't be right. Does he have six Academy
Awards for Best Actor?
Speaker 1 (35:43):
Yeah, because he's a kiss ass. Come on, stop that.
Daniel day Lewis is a g.
Speaker 7 (35:48):
Yeah, he's a kiss ass. That can't be right. This
has to be nominated. I think he has three Okay,
it doesn't matter. Yeah, three six. I mean that's fine.
You turned out your pocket you can about Daniel de
Luis relax.

Tickets for the Mike Tyson.

Versus Jake Paul fight are already getting sold out or
getting sold but the lowest selling tickets are at five
seventy five, so with some ringside tickets going for a
little over eight k.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
I mean, and this is it is this it?
Speaker 7 (37:26):
Cowboy Stage is at Cowboy Stadium on July twenty first.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
I wonder how many they're gonna get in there because
it won't be a sellout. I mean, I can't imagine
they would say, I don't even think that man when
they sell it out, because I don't think Manny Pacio
Josh Claudi sold it out.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
Yeah, and that was as big as this spectacle. That
was Paki in his prime. Yeah, but this ain't as
big as Mike Tyson and Jake Paul and there this
is a bigger spectacle. I don't know large audience. I'm
gonna say less than seventy percent full. Nah, Yeah, I'm
gonna go full. That's my prediction. I'm gonna go full.
