experience different things. Because college is a microcosm of the

thought it was interesting that they chose to They chose
to pinpoint Saquon and then generalize basically the entire football

population outside of who I guess they conveniently who they're
cool with, who they're bros with. Outside of the few
that they're cool with that they're comfortable about, the rest
of us are just the same as Saquon, which, by
the way, I have no problem being the same as Saquon.
If that's the comparison, If that's the comp that you

that guy. That's what you're feeling.

So that was Tyrus Halliburton on the interaction between his
dad and Johannis following the game last night, and so

there is some thought that he could request a trade.

big time player to want one out and be able

what he wants to do, and that's well within his

the one thing Dame Lillard didn't do in Portland. He
didn't deliver a championship against all odds. He didn't deliver
MVP of the League awards. He didn't deliver any of
those things. Johanna is dead, and he became a face

you see him on a lot of advertisements. So he
became a very, very leverageable, monetizable commodity for the NBA.
So to me, I don't look at this and say,
I feel like it's egregious that Jannis wants out like
he's got this inflated ego of himself or the way

he views the world around him. I think he's a
very down to earth guy. I think he's very sound.
And now all the interviews that I've ever heard of
him and just the different different, you know, specials that
they've done on him, he just comes across as just
it's a super super loving type dude. Like he's easy

to like as a person. So if that's where he's at,
then if I'm the Milwaukee Bucks, I got to take
a really really good hard look at myself because this
has really been the only time the Bucks have been
super super relevant. They've had some really really good players.
They've had some good players. Wasn't ray Allen a Buck? Yeah?

there have been players, there have been some fine players

So that was Tyrus Halliburton on the interaction between his
dad and Johannis following the game last night, and so
Jannis has its controlved, aren't they. Jiannie is under contract
through twenty twenty six twenty twenty seven. He's got a
player option ahead of the following season after that, but
there is some thought that he could request a trade.

Damian Lillard's going to be out for all of next year.
It looks like who knows what's going to happen to
his career. He's in his mid thirties now.

Jannie isn't even thirty yet, which is wild to think
about how long he's been in the NBA and the
things he's done up.

or is it over it as in like, let's figure
out how to fit. He just comes across to me
as a very very much a loyal a loyalist like

did this year. Jannis is looking at it like I
need to get out of here. He doesn't seem like
a runaway from the scenario type of dude to.

Me, well, he doesn't, but there is some thought that
he could request a trade that he's not been happy, I.

Mean, and that could very well be true. That Adriaen
Griffin got clipped. It's a lot of things that have
taken place that would be make it very justifiable for
Jannis to want to go somewhere else because the decisions
have led to this. You had it, you had it,

you got MVP, you you've won a championship, you had it,
Like why do you let Drew Holiday go? Like? Why
do you let that happen? How do you not hold
together the team that you had? Didn't? They like fire
their their head coach, like which one prematurely the one
that was Bootholder? I think Griffin Bootholzer. I just so

I can understand it from a logical standpoint, him feeling
as though, this isn't you know, I've gotten all I
can get out of this. I've done as much as
I can do for this team and for this city
as a player for them. I could see that being
his thought process, And if that's what it is, I'd
just say that he's aren't the right to feel that way.

What's interesting about it is that the other player that
this reminds me of in his loyalty to the organization
and wanted to stick it out and gave him chance
after chance.

And is Damian Lillard. Because Lillard was in Portland.

With the Blazers for a long time and there was
a lot of discussion years before he finally left, to man,
how much more does he want to put up with?
How much more does he want to stick around for this?
And he pushed back on it. He refused to to
you know, take take that and run away or go
anywhere else. And then all of a sudden he just

got to a point where he was like, all right,
it's time. And I wonder if now how Giannis is
looking at it, going, Man, I'm still in my prime.

I want to go see what else is out there.
I would love for him to stay put. I would
love for him to stay in Milwaukee because they think
it's great. You know, it's similar to Listen and Edwards
being in Minnesota. I think it's good for the league
because it's these other markets outside of your LA's, your Chicago's,
your New York's. The fact that they've got stars and

they can be paid like stars and stay put and
potentially win titles in those places. I think it's great
for the league, But I just wonder if Jiannis is
looking around at the organization going, dude, we just haven't
figured this out.

It's become a part of the culture. You know, this
wasn't a part of the old culture of the NBA,
so now it's it's very it's very commonplace for a
big time player to want one out and be able
to force their way out. So that's again, if that's
what he wants to do, and that's well within his

right to do it because he has proven to them
the one thing Dame Lillard didn't do in Portland. He
didn't deliver a championship against all odds. He didn't deliver
MVP of the League awards. He didn't deliver any of
those things. Johanna is dead, and he became a face
somewhat of the league. I mean, if you look around,

you see him on a lot of advertisements. So he
became a very, very leverageable, monetizable commodity for the NBA.
So to me, I don't look at this and say,
I feel like it's egregious that Jannis wants out like
he's got this inflated ego of himself or the way
(30:44):
he views the world around him. I think he's a
very down to earth guy. I think he's very sound.
And now all the interviews that I've ever heard of
him and just the different different, you know, specials that
they've done on him, he just comes across as just
it's a super super loving type dude. Like he's easy
(31:04):
to like as a person. So if that's where he's at,
then if I'm the Milwaukee Bucks, I got to take
a really really good hard look at myself because this
has really been the only time the Bucks have been
super super relevant. They've had some really really good players.
They've had some good players. Wasn't ray Allen a Buck? Yeah?

He came in as a Buck, didn't he I believe,
didn't he get drafted by the Bucks? Yeah? Or a Sonic? Anyway,
there have been players, there have been some fine players
that have gone through the organization, Jack Sikma, But when
have they ever been really really like significant to the
conversation of the NBA before now in the seventies, that's

a long time ago. Is that when did Kareema I

where it's all crumbling and falling apart. How did you
get here? How did you get to winning and having
an MVP and how did you get here? Listen?
