Speaker 4 (01:03):
It is that Narcos dip.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
What you think about that Narcos dip?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Well, it's dipping. It's full of dip.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
See it is Two Pros and a cup of Joe.

(01:33):
Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific here. And look as everybody's
sitting around waiting for the NBA Finals to start, waiting
for the Stanley Cup Final to start, we just keep
trucking along, and we just keep monitoring and tracking the
developments at OTAs around the National Football League. And we

(01:55):
do have ourselves a little bit of a follow up
story on something that we have hit a couple of
times here on this show, because we were fascinated by
the Stefan Diggs boat video and his romance with Cardi B.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
And you know, I'm not fascinated by that part.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Why not just a I'm just not what I'm not
fascinated by the whole romance thing. That's an't really being
people's business like that, So I don't, you know, it's
not like, h what are we going to talk about tomorrow. Yeah,

(02:33):
I was just thinking about Cardi being Stephan Diggs like what,
you know what, I'm lying. You know why I'm lying
because I went on Cardi B's page yesterday to see
if she had any information from the boat ride, and
you were indeed correct. She did do a whole series

(02:54):
of like selfies and stuff like that. But she did
have a few pictures with Stefan Diggs too.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
In the one video she was you know she was.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
She was twerking that thing and telling Stefan Diggs to
well what appeared to be a motion to get closer. Yeah,
so there you go. I'm not being all the way.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Truthful directing traffic. So I'm not.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Really into the romance.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I'll be honest with you if it was more.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
To journalistic side of me.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
If if Cardi B walked in studio, I wouldn't know
who she was, just to be honest with.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
You, because you would feel the aura aura I did see,
by the way, I don't know if.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
There was a because here's the here's the problem with AX.
And I appreciate the hell out of what Elon Musk
did and he flushed it out and all that, but
he did open up.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
He made it an equal opportunity.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Linder, Oh yeah, but he but he did open up
the floodgates to He opened up the floodgates to a
lot of degenerates out there. And you don't even mean
to be looking for some of this content. It just
pops up in the comments or the feed if you're
looking for a particular topic. And I don't know if
this was her, but I just saw a video of

(04:12):
a guy who looked like he was being held hostage
and her firing off rounds inside a room with a handgun. Again,
I don't know if that was her. Okay, she looked
very different from the video on the boat, but there
was there was that that I saw some sort of
some sort of video out there, So you know, it's interested.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I don't know, I've not seen that video, but I'll
tell you this, there were plenty of rounds being shot
off on that boat. And I ain't talking about from
no gun.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Down, all right. So with that being said, you and
I were kind of kicking it around and saying, all right,
so what's gonna happen with Stefan Diggs. You know, if
in fact this was the substance, everybody was claiming it
to be, which was the tous See, and he was
on that boat being a little reckless.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Well it's on that boat.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Apparently, Stefan Diggs decided to get off the S S
two C and approach OTAs for the New England Patriots.
Very excited to be there. He was at practice. He
showed up, he waved to the reporters and said, nice

(05:23):
to see y'all. And his offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels spoke
about his arrivals at OTAs for the Patriots and said.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
This it's a voluntary part of the year. We know that.
I don't know if we've ever had perfect attendance at
these things in general. As a coach, Elfishy, you love
you love it when they're all here because you feel
like you got them all in the classroom and all
on the field and all the rest of it. He's
here today and we're excited to have an opportunity to
work with the guys that are out here and available

(05:53):
to us. I know he's staying up on the information
and the material and there's so many things and opportunity
for us to teach all our guys going forward between
the rest of the practices here in the spring and
then going into the summer, and you know the many
days we had before we actually kicked the ball off
in September. So I'm not concerned about Stephan in that regard.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
So I guess this does answer the question whether or
not the Patriots are going to cut him, right.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
This does. I wouldn't say that because he's not, you know,
he's not the one that ultimately makes the decisions. Sounds
like a humble man too, by the way, doesn't sound like,
you know, maybe the guy that they didn't like in
Las Vegas. Sounds likable. I don't know. It just sounds

(06:40):
like it's business as usual for now. But again, these
these types of situations, it's it's how deep the investigations go,
if there's any real investigation.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Going on at all. I mean, I don't.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
I don't see how the optics of it look good.
But I don't see how you can actually come to
a strong conclusion that it was some some tucy.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
I mean, I'll be honest with you, I don't see
how the optics of it look bad either, to tell
you the truth, I mean, that sounds that sounds like
a hell of a good time here.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
I mean the optics of it, outside of the substance
or whatever it was, the object that was in his hand.
I mean, it could have been some gourmet chocolates for
all weal, we don't. We don't know. I mean, if
we're being honest, like everybody's joking about it, who's talking
about it?

Speaker 4 (07:35):
But we really do not know what it was.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Unless somebody has the technology to be able to zoom
in on it and be able to post or the
people doing the investigation are able to zoom in on it.
And even then even then, like I don't know where
they were. Do you know, did it say where the
boat was?

Speaker 1 (07:59):
I mean, listen with a I can't trust anything anymore.
I mean, who knows, just doesn't green screen. They could
have he could have been in Nantucket right outside right
near Patriots, the Patriots training camp or Ota and their facility,
and he could have been maybe he borrowed Albert Breers boat.
I don't know, like Breer goes to Nantucket all the time.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
No, it's a good bit, it's a good bit. He
could have been like dude in Nantucket. On along came
Polly that was going looking for those big old waves.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
And then you find them picture about the looks of
the picture.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
He found some big old waves.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Man.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
I just I don't know where they were at in
the world.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
You know. There were no charges brought against him or
anything like that. The only thing I would say that
makes it kind of a weird situation is we're in
a day and age now where people pop up and
they accused and and are they gonna take that into

(09:01):
consideration that you got this substance possibly and you have
women that are involved.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
You're on a boat, you.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Know, I mean, dude, the dude diddies on trial right now,
so people could be touched extra sensitive. I don't really
know how it's going to be viewed Jonas. I just
don't know that from that footage. Is that enough to
say we're going to launch a serious investigation. And that

(09:34):
serious investigation to me being somebody's going to call them,
They're going to ask them to give an account so
that they have the testimony or the interview on file
just in case something were to pop up they cover
off on their basis. They might drug testing, depending on
what the policy is on that, they might drug testing,

(09:55):
and depending on what those results are, that could be
what the situation. You know, that could be the left
or could be straight down the street on that. I
don't know how from where we are right now, you
do anything but move on from it.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
I listen. I'm with you, and I think it's pretty
reckless by a lot of people out there, some of
this reporting, Like if we're going to sit here and
try and accuse the guy of having you know, a
little a little handful of pink booger sugar when we
don't know whether or not it could have been pop rocks,
it could have been like you could find whatever he
had there. You could probably find something that looks similar

(10:35):
on any ice cream truck you see this summer across
the country. If we're being honest and so the idea
that we're going to sit here and we're going to
condemn this man for he's out trying to catch some fish.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
There was an ice cream truck. There was an ice
cream truck that came to the school that my son
and my daughter went to, and he played and she
cheered at and there was some questionable looking stuff on
at ice cream truck and it was good and stuff
ended up being good, Like there was stuff that had
to heen on it that was in plastic, like was

(11:11):
homemade type stuff, you know, so you got to trust
the local, which everybody trusted the local ice cream man.
But there was some questionable looking stuff on there. If
you took a video and you didn't know any better,
you'd be like, what the hell is that?

Speaker 4 (11:26):
You know?

Speaker 1 (11:27):
I mean there's you know, when we could go down
the rabbit hole of like the hostess products and this
isn't the air out Hostess, but there's a lot of
questionable names. Two items there, ding dongs, zingers, zols. Yeah,
you know, like there's just honey bun, Yeah, glazed honey bun. Reverend,

(11:52):
you should probably stay out of this. You could eat.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Maybe he won't. Maybe he was in the back on
that boat.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
I mean there is there is the lead to lapse
special here I'm looking at, which is the hostess Chocolate lovers.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
Chocolate lovers.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Yeah, there's that mini muffins who need snowballs, disgusting chocolate eye.
I'm just saying, like this shock it down. The point
of his The point is that that we're all jumping
to conclusions here. I think the Patriots took the measured
approach here and said, you know what, water under the

(12:29):
bridge right water.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Under for now for now and uh and unless somebody,
unless somebody proves otherwise, it's that's it for now. Like
focus in on football and you're here. It's OTAs. He
didn't look like he had any issues walking onto the field,
which means that he already had had sit down conversations
with whoever he needed to have conversations with. Yeah, I mean,

(12:53):
I mean, did he do an interview yesterday?

Speaker 1 (12:55):
No?

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I didn't see anything from waved.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
The reporters are nice to see you guys.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
I saw, I saw that part of it, but I
didn't I didn't know if he did any you know,
if he did any discussions.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
It just didn't seem like it was a tense situation.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
He let his boat, He let his boat do the talking,
you know what I mean. Yeah, I mean he didn't.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
He didn't need to say anything or there was just
a lot of motor boating that could have been going on.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
The way to himself.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
He's look, you know, the one thing there was motor
boat material.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
The one thing that you do know about Stefan Diggs,
at least early on in his tenure with whatever team
he's with, he's gonna play nice. It's just eventually that
kind of runs its course, and then you know, if
he if when it's time for a new contract or
something like that, that's when things start to go sideways.
So I feel like, as long as he's healthy, he's

(13:51):
going to produce. Listen our friends listening on the Yalla
Horn of the Twin Cities k fan of Minneapolis, they
know all about the Stefan Diggs experience. When he was
with Minnister, he was all in and then it came
time to get paid, and you know, things sort of
went side. But he went to Buffalo. We saw how
that played out towards the end.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Early was great, good player. They had they had replacement
for Stephan you know Buffalo, Yeah, no, no, and in Minnesota, yeah,
you know, I mean that that who was who was
on the other side of him. Justin Jefferson had got there,
didn't he?

Speaker 1 (14:26):
I know, Justin Jefferson was basically who was there.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
There was another one. There was another guy that.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Was there though, or did they They they drafted him
that the same year he left.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Yeah, it was the same year exactly. Yeah, So they
they moved on from him and then added Justin Jefferson.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
And then buffalo was just it kind of ran its course.
It was just time for him to go. And and
I think it's a great point because to me, that
would be the bigger conversation here. Did that situation arising
make them feel as though is it worth to squeeze
to bring him in here? I would have thought that

(15:04):
would have been the biggest piece of the discussion. Puzzle
as it applies to this, like, I don't see them
based off of the lack of information or whatever it
may be connected to the video surfacing, There wasn't like,
again that's alleged whatever it is that he was holding.

(15:29):
If you look at him, he's not inebriated. He's not intoxicated,
at least not visually. You can't tell. It doesn't look
like he was sloppy or you know, he was falling
asleep or anything like. Didn't look like a zombie or anything.
He just looked like he was having a good time.
And if anything, it looked like it was an offering

(15:52):
of sorts. It didn't look like maybe he was part
taking in whatever it was. It just looked like it
may have been offering. But you just never know something
else might have been in there. It could have been
an edible, right, It could have been an edible in there,
and it could have been in the packaging or whatever
it may have been.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Are you going to get in trouble for it being
an edible? You know what I mean? Like you just
don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
There's not enough information on it, so to me, I
think the wise and prudent thing probably would be to
contact Stefan Diggs, which I'm sure the team in the
league did. They took his account of it, they have
it on file and if anything further comes of it,
they have the information ready to go and they were
aware of it. Moving on, the bigger deal is did

(16:38):
you feel did you come away from that feeling as though,
could he be a problem to our locker room? Could
this be a distraction? Could this guy be a person
that distracts and takes away from our locker room. I
think they will find that out now in OTAs and
how they feel about what he does while he's there.

(16:58):
So I think it's more out him being there and
what that feels like with him around the players, around
the coaches, and then they're going to probably make their
their final decision on which, By the way, that's probably
what they were planning on doing anyway.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Yeah, uh it is. We will keep you posting here
on this Tucy Tuesday here on t and a cup
of Joe, whether whether or not there is any any
decisions made here on Stefan Diggs in his future with
the Patriots, but he's back at ot as Josh happy.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
You could use some tuci. Oh yeah, never used any which.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
I got a little tack going on right now, man,
Oh yeah, a little.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
I felt it a little bit yesterday. Did what I
needed to do medication wise, but it still is trying
to grab hold. Man. I did it too. I did
it too much on graduation day. That's all I'll say.
Too much graduation party. I'm all right, we'll get I
drank a whole I drank a whole lot of Pacifico.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Man, a whole lot. You ain't live.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Yeah, well I know this what you know.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
I know.

Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with the air coming

for a couple of people in the NFL. We will
get into that for you here on FSR.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Well, we're trying, no, no, we're not damn.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
All right, So the Detroit Lions were dealt another blow
in an off season in which they've They've lost a
little bit as far as the roster goes, or as
far as the team goes, the cores, the coaching staff,
the Lions. All pro center Frank Ragnow announced his retirement

(19:54):
on Monday via social media and said the following. These
past couple months have been very trying as I've come
to the realization that my football journey is ending and
I'm officially retiring from the NFL. I've tried to convince
myself that I'm feeling good, but I'm not, and a
time to prioritize my health and my family's future. I've
given this team everything I have, and I thought I

(20:15):
had more to give, but the reality is I simply don't.
I have to listen to my body, and this has
been one of the hardest decisions of my life. The
Lines organization has been absolutely incredible throughout the process, and
I can't emphasize this enough how grateful I am for
this team and all fans. It was an absolute honor
going to battle for you all. From Frank Ragnow, who

(20:36):
had decided to call it a career after seven seasons.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
Not bad, I did seven.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
And twenty nine years old and just had a litany
of injuries, whether I think a fractured throat at one point,
which I.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Don't even know how that's possible about, say, can you
fracture it?

Speaker 1 (20:54):
There? Tow issue like I guess he called it. He
described it as the most vere form of turf toe
that you could get. So he's just I mean, he's
taken a beating and at twenty nine years old, like
he probably just looked at it and said, he got paid.
At one point, he was the highest paid center in

(21:15):
the NFL. He had his All pros, he had a
good run. But I'd imagine his body was just like, dude,
that's enough, Like we are. And he's not even thirty
years old, not even thirty years old, and he's calling
it a career because of the beating he took during
his football journey. That's wild man.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Well, I mean he got, like you said, he got
his time in, he got years, and he came in
in twenty eighteen. So I mean he had a full career,
and good for him. Good for him. You know, some
people have different they have different ideas and different approaches
to you know, the profession of football. Some say, you

(21:59):
got to get me out out and I'm going kicking
and screaming. I'm not leaving until y'all kicked me out.
Some dudes, you know, they see it as you know,
it served its purpose and when the time comes to
the end, it's come to an end and it's time
to move on. I mean, it's been guys who have
moved on earlier than that, you know, from playing the sport,

(22:22):
and not because they were forced to just chose to
walk away for one reason or another. Usually were health
health related reasons as to why they walked away.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
So I mean, it's not.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
I don't I don't feel like this is like extraordinarily
like you know, like sensational news or anything like that.
But it is another conversation about were were the Detroit
Lions prepared for this retirement announcement? Did they have a
contingency plan in play? Was this something that was being discussed.

(22:59):
Was he was he open been in candidate with the
organization and with Dan Campbell and his position coach. Those
would be the questions that would make this more intriguing
because it's a center is very very hard to replace,
that's the brain of your offense. Outside of your quarterback.

(23:20):
And that's not easy. That's not an easily replaceable position.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
And so they Sorry, I was just going to say so,
Tate Rutledge is a rookie. They took him out of
Georgia in the second round. He was a guard primarily
in college.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
That second round means they knew that they were going
to have to replace it.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
But and he's been taking reps with the first team
at center, so they probably got an inkling that, Okay,
this is you know, Frank's gonna call it a career.
Let's get this guy ready to go.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
You took a position, you took a position guy his
position in the second round.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
Second round is a high pick. That's a high pick.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
That's a guy that you're planning on he's going to
play and how soon you don't know, but you're planning
on that guy coming in and contributing to your team.
So that does kind of tell you the story. Now
they were they drafting him to come in win Regnaw
finally called it quits. Was that this what were they

(24:24):
assuming this year? Anticipating this year? Where they anticipating another season?
I don't know, but that's good that they were proactive
about and got a guy in the second round. That
means that's a quality guy and you just got to
wait and see. I think the bigger story here is
what will this new what will this new Detroit Lions

(24:48):
team look like this year? With more so the departures
of the coordinators to me versus anything else.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Yeah, I mean that's a lot of turn up. We
saw this happen in Philly. I mean when Philly lost
their core nat after they've made a Super Bowl run,
you know, the next year, all of a sudden, there
were conversations about Nick Sirioti, you know, his capability at
the job. I think it's a natural, probable step back
for Detroit and a division that feels like it's ascending. Minnesota.

(25:18):
JJ McCarthy's is as as good as they hope he is.
That's a team that they could contend. There's optimism about
the Bears. You've got the Packers and maybe there's a
bounce back for Jordan Love.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
There's optimism about the Bears.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
But that's all you got. Like, he can't I mean,
it can't go worse than what happened last year.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
It could go worse than what it was, Like, I mean,
it could go worse.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
I don't know that that's necessarily possible based on how
it went last year. But I was, you know, I
was thinking about this with with Frank Ragnow. So he's
twenty nine years old. His you know the turf toe
of the last name. By the way, yeah, Ragnow is
pretty what I play. That's what I play second hour
of the show. You know that Thirteenth Warrior move that music?

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Now?

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Is it? Is it?

Speaker 4 (26:08):
That's that? That's that Viking dip?

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Well, because isn't it Ragnar is.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
It's it's got to be the same if it starts
with the rag, it's got to be the the rag in.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
The end, right, No, I hear you.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Two segments in a row. Huh, you don't hit me
with the pause. Two segments in a row.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
I was, I was laying out. I didn't do anything.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
I was talking about that man's name.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
Well, listen, it is a sweet guarantee.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
You that gives you norseman name. You know, it gives
you Viking? You know Iceland?

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Can you look up the origin of rag now. I
want to make sure we have this correct because we
don't want to misrepresent.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
Here like Iceland or something like that.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Because it turns out he's Polynesian. We own apology here
on the show. Yeah, I've been looking into this. According
to the Internet, No, is it from German origin. He's
probably a Ramstein fan, but this is probably going to
be the first.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
I'm ignorant on this one.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Vikings, I mean, I know Vikings is like Iceland and
and you know, stuff like that. But is ragnaw Ragno?
In terms of Germany could that be? Could that be
a Viking?

Speaker 7 (27:27):
Well, Vikings are from Scandinavia, Norway, Denmark area.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
So not not Germany.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
No, okay, so he's not he's not a he's not
a Viking then no, all right, just sound it was close,
like you said, you said ragnor I guess Ragnar. I
guess you had to change it to Ry. You had
to go to the hard r for him to be
a Viking, okay.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Which is always, which is always, you know, you always
gotta be careful, definitely gotta be careful. So you mentioned
that you had retired early in your career, and I
just wonder, how is he going, like, how is his
body going? Because this is really the reality is when
he gets to say the holidays, which is you know,

(28:13):
later in the season. This is probably going to be
the first time in a long time during his entire
football career where he's not going to be in constant
pain walking around every single day. That's why I always
say when people are like, yeah, well you're making all
this money and you get a man.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
You got to rephrase that, bro, like, he's not going
to be walking around and constant. I played a game
and I practiced pain. Once the pain is there from
your career, it's there. Like I told you, I'm dealing
with my foot right now, like and some would say

(28:54):
that's your diet, and some would say this was self inflicted.
But there are all kinds of different aches and ailments
that pop up on you, like my back is torn up.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
Just just ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
I would feel more comfortable walking around in a in
a linebacker position, lower to the ground, like in a
squatting position to walk versus trying to walk normal, just
because of how much time you spend in your I've
spent in my position and and that's how I hit people.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
And that's you know, it's he's going to It sounds as.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Though he's going to deal with the ailments that that
made him think about if he even wanted to continue
to play. The key to it is is that you
got to stay on top of all of your your
medical issues. That's the key. Like you can't turn into
a self medicator. You got to just make sure that

(29:56):
you you figure out where you're living. If you is
he if he hasn't already, you got to figure out
who are the right people to go to, and then
he'll change his diet. Like Linemen, they're the weirdest dudes.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
Man.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
They'll lose like one hundred some pounds. Man, you'll see
him later on and you'll be like, who he looks
like a little kid.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Alan Fanica turned into Chet Holmgren.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Bro there's a whole bunch of them, man Fanica. Who's
my guy? From the Seahawks? Backus backus lost a ton
of weight and he looks like he looks like a
different dude.

Speaker 4 (30:29):
Hutchinson Hutchinson, Why am I call him? Back?

Speaker 2 (30:31):
In the Michigan Boys? Hutchison lost a lot of weight.
You know who else lost a lot of weight? Jared
Allen lost a lot. He lost a ton of weight.
The defensive end from the Vikings lost a ton of weight.
Those guys lose a lot of weight, so he'll probably
take take a lot of that pressure off of his joints,

(30:52):
probably live a healthier lifestyle, or just continue to live
the healthy lifestyle that he was leading.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Let me ask you this, though, when was the first time, like,
whether it was the first training camp you weren't at
the first fall that rolled around, that you weren't playing
games and banging your body up that you were like
got you know what, I don't feel completely awful.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
When I get up this morning, bro, I slept for
three years. I told people, I slept for three years.
When you stop when you when when you start playing
football and they know you're good and you get to
like a certain point, you don't sleep because you're working
out your you're preparing for school, and you're preparing for

(31:36):
for games like to play, and that becomes your routine
until you're done playing.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
So that's college. You don't You don't.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Get great sleep in college because you have work and
you have work, and you have work. You know, you
got the football work, you have the school work, and
you know whatever whatever else it is that you got
to do to work to get yourself to where you
need to be, you don't sleep. So when I retired.

(32:05):
All I remember was sleeping like wait, I don't have
to get up, and that realization that I was like
I had freedom, Like I was free, like damn, I
ain't gotta jump up and run to the facility. Dang,

(32:26):
you don't have to jump up and run to the
facility like it was like it was like the best
sleep ever. It was like I hibernated, I gained a
ton of weight. I was one of them. I didn't
keep working out and all that stuff. I told you,
I didn't even rehab. I told coach Coughlin I was
in pain and that I would rehab and that I

(32:48):
would get out, which I'm sure is the most damning
conversation you could have with your head football coach. I
told him I was in pain, man, and I'll honor
my contract, honor you know, the commitment that I made.
I'll get back in shape and I'll come in ready
to play. But I'm in pain, and they let me go.

(33:09):
And when they released me, it was it was a
big like for me. It was a big side relief
because I was done. Like people say, I see people
report that it was the motorcycle accident that I had
that led to me not playing anymore. I guess the
agent that I had at the time kind of made

(33:29):
that a story, and that wasn't true. He was trying
to keep me alive to want to play. I didn't
want to play anymore. In fact, when I left Washington,
I just didn't even want to play anymore. So I
made I made five games before I ruptured my Achilles tenant,
but I just didn't want to play anymore Jonas.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
So when I when when.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
They released me, I felt this big, like this is
just some large amount of weight fall off of me.
And I was like, man, I'm just going to get
to enjoy my new Marlee was born. Marlee was like
maybe one one and maybe going on two or whatever.
At that point, the twins were in the oven baking,

(34:10):
and I was going to get an opportunity.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
To be at home and be around my.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Family and and like be a normal person. Man. But
then I woke up like day one, and I was like, dang,
like this felt like an off season sleep, Like I
don't feel like I gotta go work out or do
anything crazy. I'm gonna just go get me some food.
I'ma sit on the couch and watch some some DVDs.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
Right this this, I'm aging myself.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
Then I got to like three or four days and
then Jonas I'm telling you, I don't know that I
remember too much. In between. For like two years, two
three years, I slept.

Speaker 4 (34:52):
I slept. That's all I did.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
I slept and when I got up, when I got up,
that was when I went like whatever it was I
was going to do once I got up, And that
was kind of It's kind of how it worked. Like
literally I would sleep until like noon one o'clock and
then it went down.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
It started to go down a little bit, but.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
Like I get up at like eight to nine not
but I don't know, but I'm back to getting up
again now.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
So what did it matter?

Speaker 1 (35:23):
Well, listen to hell of a career for Frank Rag now.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Congratulations to enjoy your rest and enjoy your body healing
up and all that good stuff.

sports or entertainment. Good thing, the guys are here to
bring you in case you missed.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
After that, we turned it over to our executive producer, Lead.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Lap.

Speaker 7 (37:27):
Good morning everybody, Good morning, Jonahs, Good morning LeVar.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
Didn't have my Micael on for that one. Guys.

Speaker 7 (37:33):
In case you missed this. Uh, Jason and Travis Kelsey,
I don't know if you knew this. They have a
beer brand called Garage Beer. Well, apparently that beer has
now just bought one percent stake of an Arena Football
League team, that being the Saint Joseph Goats out of Missouri.
As correct, a one percent stake in the Saint Joseph
Goats for the Kelsey brothers.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
So those guys haven't in any reason why Yeah, what's
what's the uh uh.

Speaker 7 (37:57):
You know in the press release, it just says that
from the beer fridge to the front office, the Goats
are now powered by the same crisp, uncomplicated energy that
fuels garage beer.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
This is more than a sponsorship.

Speaker 7 (38:09):
It's a bold, possibly confusing leap into the world of
professional sports ownership, and we couldn't be more excited.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
How much does a one percent steak in the Saint
Joseph Goats cost?

Speaker 4 (38:19):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
If you had to be like, that's putting our name on.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
It, like if you had to guess what, we don't know.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
But I would just say that putting their name on,
putting you know, Kelsey's the Kelsey's name on on the
sports team, is how much it costs.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
I'm gonna I'm gonna say, if we got to put
a dollar amount here, I'm gonna go like fifty.

Speaker 8 (38:39):
Bucks, Okay, knocks, okay, sixty geez, Sorry, everybody, Saint Joseph Goats.

Speaker 1 (38:52):
I didn't know we were talking about the giant person.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
They imagine like no type of skin in that game.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
You imagine Jason Kelsey hands of one hundred and expects
change back.

Speaker 2 (39:05):
Yeah, I think we'll take one.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
Percent.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
Yeah, alright, that's forty nine ninety five.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
I say.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
What else we got?

Speaker 7 (39:17):
Lee guys In a in a show of spite, a
husband ran a San Diego marathon with zero training just
to spite his wife. His wife was making fun of
him because she is a gym rat and he did
zero leg days whatsoever. But he told her he could
run a mile, so she went ahead and signed him
up for the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon last weekend,

(39:37):
and he completed it. I can't find a time, but
the TikTok video has gone viral six point six million views.

Speaker 1 (39:45):
Okay, so half marathon or full marathon?

Speaker 2 (39:47):
Full marathon?

Speaker 1 (39:48):
So twenty six miles in chain correct, twenty six point two.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
That is no good, no point.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
Oh how do you think he's feeling?

Speaker 2 (39:55):
Oh? Crazy bad, crazy bad. I can't make one mole.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
Yeah, that's not a that can't be great. My sister,
My sister runs marathons, and I'm like, yeah, I don't know,
Like that's you got to really work your way up
to that. And you start with like, you know, half
of a half and then a half and then three
quarters and then a foal. And this guy just as

(40:28):
an it might.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Be a military dude though, if he's wanted a military dudes,
you never know. Yeah, but he'd be working out if
he was a military guy.

Speaker 4 (40:38):
So who knows. I don't know, but that's a lot
of running
