Speaker 3 (02:04):
What up? Sticks?
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Good morning, sir?
Speaker 3 (02:08):
How we field? It's stay coold fine, spill your coffee.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Uh huh.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
I started getting hyped up. I was getting hyped up
out of music. The song jumped into my bones and
into my spirit, and my spirit started dancing on the inside,
and then it came out on the outside. Then I
started moving, wiggling and jiggling, and then my coffee did
the same exact name, ended up on my leg and
on the couch. So now I got spilled coffee. But
(02:38):
it ain't gonna hold me down, and it ain't gonna
hold me back. I'm ready to talk to some sports
this morning.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Green Bay looks pretty good, man. Woa, that looks uh?
That looks like a really good football team. And whoa
if you were one of those people, one of those
lucky individuals who could see into the future. Yeah, I
don't know if you know this. Some people have labeled
me knox Stra damas and I was able to see
into the future. And no, oh, that team's going to
(03:07):
win their division and that team's going to a super Bowl.
And after two weeks, I feel pretty good about it.
Feel pretty good about what the Green Bay Packers have
done because they look like a damn good football team.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
I know it's early.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Everyone can go down that road and we can say, well,
calm down and settle down, but they look like.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
They're the goods.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
Man.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Based on what we saw again last night.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
That was a really good team that they played against.
Obviously one game away from the Super Bowl last season.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Yeah, they.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
They made the Washington Commanders look like they were one
to two steps slower than.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
What they were moving on Green Bay side.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
They moved faster in the offense pace wise, they moved faster, running,
running their routes eighty eight and eighty five.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
You know up top. Uh.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
They they were having their way on the out routes
and attacking the flats. Jordan Love looked efficient. He looks comfortable,
He looks confident.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
I was.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
I was having a conversation at at the American ale
House last evening with my buddy Leon and my buddy Will.
We were talking. Yeah, we were talking about how Jordan
Love's numbers weren't gotty numbers, but nonetheless it looked like
(04:37):
a gotty performance. And almost to the tune of you're
now going to he has played himself in two weeks
time into the conversation of the m v P and
and the question now becomes, when you start to achieve
(05:00):
at that level where you are now entering into the
conversation of MVP with the likes of the Lamar Jackson's
and the Josh Allens of the world and the Joe
Burrows of the world, does he continue to go up.
Is his trajectory still continuing to go up? Does he
(05:21):
start to cool off and level off? Or does he
fall off of a cliff and does he knows dive?
These are the things that make sport and make you know,
obviously the NFL and more particular so interesting and so
captivating and so intriguing because you're seeing a team that
(05:45):
looks as though, I mean, this is as fast a
start in terms of how a team can.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Looks as I've seen.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
I mean, I think about how maybe like the the
old Rams looked, and how how fast they looked on
the field, and how they were moving around, and how
exciting it was to see, you know, Kurt Warner sling
it around to Tory Holton, Isaac Bruce and Ozakim and
all those guys. You know, I'm not calling this a
(06:20):
Rams Super Bowl run team esque, but this, this, this
offense looks explosive. And to have an explosive offense and
a quarterback looking as competent as as Jordan Love is looking,
I mean he even came up out of the pocket
(06:41):
and ran one point in time, ran the dude over.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
So he's not frail.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
He's not a fragile guy, and that showed he ran
straight through a defensive back, turned him around. Didn't look good,
wasn't a good look on the defender out there. But nonetheless,
that's what he did.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
And that's just I.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Haven't even transitioned into talking about the defense jonas well,
and that's scary.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
And I also think to your point when you mentioned,
you know, he's already in the MVP conversation, and again
people could go, well, it's just you know, it's two
games in. Those are kind of significant wins. I mean,
we're a week into when the season kicked off a
year last from last week the opener between Dallas and Philly,
we're a week in, they're two and oh.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
And they're two and oh.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
As you mentioned against playoff teams from a year ago,
and one of those teams was a game away from
the super Bowl. One of those other teams is a
division rival, and the year before was a game away
from a super Bowl. So it's like, this is not
just nothing and it's a well, just two games. And
on the MVP conversation, if you go to DraftKings right now,
Josh Allen is the favorite, Lamar Jackson is second, and
(07:47):
Jordan Love is third at seven to one in the
odds to win the MVP. So I look at it
and I go, this is not just your well it's
two and oh everybody relaxed. No, there's something there. And
you not only didn't get to the to the defense
when things start to chill out a little bit weatherwise
(08:10):
in Green Bay and starts to get cold, and maybe
you can't rely on that downfield passing like you have been,
the first couple of games of the year.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Oh, don't worry.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
About You got Josh Jacobs who's just gonna wear people
out and just wear people down and grind people down
if he stays healthy for the entirety of the season. Now,
Jordan Love did talk after the game with Katie Hartung
of Amazon Prime about where the Green Bay Packers are
the start to the season against these two contenders, and
(08:38):
it sounded like this.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
Ten days in to this NFL season, you're two and
zero against divisional contenders.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
How did you do it tonight?
Speaker 5 (08:45):
Just team team victories right there, back to back. You know,
defense has been dominant, been shutting people down. In offense,
we've been doing a great job putting up points and
you know, finishing these games off.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
But that's a great start to the season.
Speaker 5 (08:55):
We just got to keep building on it. What impressed you
most about the way your defense can James Danielson.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
The whole offense over there.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
That's a really good offense, and just the way the
defense been flying around. You know, obviously we didn't get
a turnover tonight, but they're hunting that ball and they're
flying around.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Making a lot of plays.
Speaker 5 (09:09):
So you hold a good offense like that eighteen points
and let us go go score, we're gonna.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
Win those games.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
So you know what else is kind of interesting about
the Packers if you just kept it in division in
the NFC North, and he looked at the storylines for
each organization going into this season. Detroit it was, well,
they lost their coordinators, how they're going to recover and
that was an awful look. In the postseason, Minnesota was like, well,
they're starting basically a rookie at quarterback.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Maybe Aaron Rodgers will be the guy.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
They kicked the tires on that, but they decided to
go in a different direction from Sam Dartle and they're
just gonna throw their all their chips into to JJ
McCarthy and develop him, And for the Bears, it was like,
who's gonna fix Kleb They got Ben Johnson, they took
away from the division. For the Packers, we waited until
the last minute and added maybe the best pass rusher
in the league. Like, it's none of the storylines are
(10:02):
the same when it comes to the Packers as opposed
to everybody else just in the division, and it was like,
they've got their quarterback, they've got their head coach. That
stable offense feels stable. The Jayden Reid injury from last night,
that's unfortunate, but he's going to return. The word is,
you know, it'd probably be November that he can come back,
But there's enough there to where they can get through
(10:25):
with not having Jade Reid. And on top of it,
they added Michah Parsons before the year, and he's just
slowly seeming like he's getting more comfortable in the system
and he's going to take off at some point.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Here go and take off. The Micah Parsons effect. The
impact is very real. It is very very real, and
his teammates are seeing the benefits of that. It's one
(10:55):
thing to have to worry about Rashan Gary and I'll
continue to say it. I'll continue to to ring his
name out there because he is he's a consummate professional
and he is a master of his craft, and he
is really good like that is a fine quality football player.
But when you talk about adding a guy like Micah
(11:19):
Parsons to your team and his ability, it doesn't even
look pretty at times, Like it's not. He's a very
workmanlike type of a football player. When you look at him,
it's not a lot of flash, even the way he dresses.
It's just it's not a lot of flash with the
(11:39):
way he wears his uniform or anything like that. He's
just tremendously effective and impactful with what it is that
he's able to do. And when you watch him, it's
it's very difficult. This is what makes Micah so special.
He's a he's not what you would say a traditional
(12:01):
size defensive end. He's a little smaller, he's a little shorter,
but what he lacks in in length and height, uh
and and like size and like you know, weight wise,
he's very deceptively big, Like he's got big features, like
(12:23):
big fingers, he's got big quad muscles, like he's he's
a very very very I would say past rushing perfectly
built and and it's because he's able to generate so
much power and so much torque when he takes off
from the ball, and it's amazing to watch the way
(12:47):
he's able to get into the blockers that are on
on on the offense side of the line, it's almost
impossible to block him one on one. I don't care.
Hanz had had had a time with him. Uh ya,
uh what what what vea?
Speaker 4 (13:06):
Is that? How you said? I want to say, uh,
who's uh for? For?
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Uh Detroit? What's his name? Come on the big the
big time lineman for them on the right side. Tripping out?
Speaker 3 (13:21):
I'm tripping out. You just threw a lineman at me.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
I don't know what the right the right, the right
tackle you geez oh, Lee helps you out and you
act like.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
You said, who's Vega?
Speaker 2 (13:35):
I'm thinking of Vega up here at Penn State. I'm
in the Penn State state of mind. Anyway, here's the
thing and that that was kind of that could have
been considered to be out of bounds because they're they're
I believe they're both polonies.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
No, yeah, you don't want any smoking.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
You gotta be real careful these days that stuff. But
but I digress. Uh you know, I think, I think
what again. What makes it so difficult to deal with
him is because he's already lowered to the ground because
of that lack of height and length of just a
(14:11):
traditional defensive end. He's quicker, and he's faster than a
traditional defensive end, and he is tremendously powerful and strong.
So you can't use one guy. And if you do
(14:32):
use one guy, he's going to pressure you. It doesn't
show up in the stat sheet. Sometimes the hurries shows up,
it's starting to they keep track of the hurries, but
it doesn't always show up the impact.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
That he has when they have to use two dudes.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
To basically wrestle them, which he was a wrestler, big
time state wrestler in high school. He just understands leverage.
He understands quick to you slow, slow to quick pacing movement, leverage.
I mean, he's just he really is a complete football player.
(15:11):
I know it sounds like I'm be watching him. I
know we were accused of that the other day, but
I gotta be honest with you, if you don't think
for two seconds that that energizes that entire defensive unit,
and you see how fast they're playing, and they're able
to play faster because they're able to use more guys
(15:31):
in coverage and sit back and read. They neutralize what
Jaydon Daniels does best, which is be mobile, get downfield
when he needs to draw the defense up to the
line of scrimmage because he's running the ball when you
sit back and wait for him to throw it. And
they were able to neutralize get pressure on him with
(15:53):
four guys most of the game and allow for those
linebackers and secondary guys to sit back in those his
own coverages and those coverages and wait for them.
Speaker 4 (16:04):
So you were minimizing.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
What Jaydon Daniels is able to do best because the
linebackers are just sitting there waiting on them.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
And if you want to.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Try to throw the ball, you gotta throw the ball
quickly because basically, it's either Micah that's going to be
breathing on your neck or it's going to be another
defender that's breathing on your neck because they're not getting
the type of attention that Mike is getting and it's
allowing for them to get home to the quarterback. So
this has been a tremendous pickup for Green Bay, and
(16:32):
I think it really has has really made this taking
this this Green Bay Packers team and defensive unit to
a whole another level in terms of what they're they're
going to be capable of doing. And you saw a
play out last night.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
So Micah was on the postgame show with Amazon Prime,
and of course the crowd was chanting thank you Jerry
as he as he came up to the desk to
talk with the guys.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
But he spoke with them.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
He also give a little shout out to Andrew Whitworth,
who's been a mentor to him as well. Too much
like you, here was Mike Ah post game.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Talk to me about the process and how much time
you spent just learning to playbook and make me getting adjusted?
Speaker 6 (17:12):
Yeah, you know. First, as soon as like you know,
the trade happened, I was like, man, when you want
me to come in, I'm super ecstatic. And then the
second process is are you willing to come in early?
Are you willing to stay later? And I just think
it's fun when I learned new things, I get like excited.
When the DC comes up to me, it's like we're
excited to have you. I got so many ways I
want to use you, but she got to learn this.
Like I'm like, all right, we'll hurry up now.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
So you know, it just gets me excited.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
I'm excited the jeff'son hell of a play call for you, Michael.
Speaker 5 (17:37):
With everything that happened in the offseason, how happy are
you to just be back on a football field, this
football field, playing the game that you love?
Speaker 6 (17:45):
You know, that's the that's the relief part. I'm finally
able to be me. Everyone knows just my happy place
and they're like, yo, it just looks like you having
fun out there, and I just truly adn't busted having
fun with no he was reaching out to me. I
was like, bro, I'm just happy. I free, like I
can find play great mentor Mom reached out to me
the whole process. I'm so thankful this dude. B y'all
don't understand how happy I am.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
Just been playing football.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
What advice did he give you?
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Through all that?
Speaker 6 (18:10):
They just told me all the time, stay pacing, it's
going to come.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Don't what's you're feeling like?
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Sometimes he's like, how.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Are you feeling?
Speaker 6 (18:17):
I see it's getting crazy out there. And then when
all passed through.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
He was like, now, just don't be great.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Do what you do, And I said, that's the easy part.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
So they are currently the Green Bay Packers, the favorites
to win the NFC on on DraftKings go. Not not
a bad start man to uh two teams like that
in five days. They're feeling it out in Green Bay.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
I mean they should. Good for them.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
By the way, you know the fact that you know
you threw it all Lee had didn't even sip.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
A centimeter of booze. Saw that, not a gram of booze.
Speaker 4 (18:56):
I saw that. He said that. Do you buy the
story that he's throwing out there?
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Oh no, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
I mean he was I could you know how you
once you really get to know somebody, when you when
you read their words, you can hear their voices in
certain situations. I could hear the happiness, the joy in
(19:32):
his voice as he typed those words of him not
partaking in buying a drink, having a drink, or getting
any sneakers or whatever it is that he was saying.
I could, I could hear at least saying it.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
But then.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
But then I stopped and I said to myself, this
is Lee. So whatever it is that I heard and
I thought, and I came to a conclusion of I
have to change it to the opposite because he's lying.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
It's like fading somebody who's a bad gambler. It's like, hey,
here's are my picks. It's like, Okay, I'm just gonna
go ahead and take the other side, just to play
it safe.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
Yeah, y'all starting to.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Truly believe that Lead the Lap has an alter ego.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
And he I think I've said this before.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
I think he's a homeless dude and and he's.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
A drunk.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Damn but Lee, but Lead the Lap the person like Lee,
the one that we get more often than not, it's
just easy. He's a cool dude, like down to earth
loving dude. And I bet you his alter ego was
watching that Green Bay Packers game drunk as hell. Oh yeah,
(20:54):
I'm talking, just juiced up and pumped up, talking about
go Hack Go for the entire duration of the game
with a Green Bay Packers jersey on. While the real
Lead to Lap, the one that that really has told
us he's not going to do that and partake in
drinking and all those things.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
He was there and he was sober, because that's how
he's not lying. He's not lying.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Because it's his alter ego that gets drunk. It's not Lee,
That's that's the thing.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
And what was it? It was Walt, right, Walt's his
alter ego.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
Is that what we call it? Is that what we
named him. His name was Walt. That's a great name
for him.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
By the way, Lee Lee is a fun, loving, good dude.
Everybody gets along with him. Couldn't set and put him
in any setting anywhere on the planet. He can find
a conversation to be had. A really good social social guy.
Oh she's dead now anyway, it doesn't matter. A right
social guy. Walt is wearing a pair of dickies with
(21:56):
holes in him, two different pairs of shoes. He's got
wore t shirts and a sweater he pulled out of
a fire that he started with some crystal mess under
under a freeway overpass. He doesn't have a mattress. He's
got two pizza boxes folded out that he sleeps on
at night.
Speaker 7 (22:13):
And he's got aluminum cans, washes and in public bath
and while he's there, he scoops up the change that
people throw in there because they think it's good luck.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
Yeah, Like that's that's Walt. So you're your safety.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
So you're saying that, saying that Walt was also watching Smash.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
Yes, Walt was on one.
Speaker 8 (22:41):
When did this conversation happens?
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Walt sounds great?
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Well, congratulations, Lee's fired up. The packers look off some
gay ye man. By the way, everyone knows first impressions
start with the first code. That's why you can trust

Speaker 2 (25:39):
Touch down Pa Lemon leap cut up, jutiful playfect Tyke,

Speaker 3 (26:20):
I do you want to mention this?
Speaker 4 (26:22):
You know?
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Obviously that was the ti Iraq play of the day.
The other ti Iraq player of the day should have
been the play that they made on going with the
uniforms they went with last night, because I gotta tell you.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Those are sweet.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
The standard confused. I was like, well, I thought they
were in Green Bay.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
I thought the same thing too, like what those they are?
Speaker 4 (26:45):
They're just wearing their uniform.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
Because their normal, typical And this is not to offend
our friends listening on the game here, because we love you,
but this is not to offend you. Next to Jacksonville,
Green Bays got the worst uniform design in the NFL.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
It's awful.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Lee.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
It looks like a box with jackson it looks like
a box of Mike and Ikes.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
It's awful. They're there, Their unis are awful.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Last night they rolled out a sweet all white with
some some golden green trending.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Kind of like Green Bay's uniforms. Man, I can't know
what you on that one.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Yeah, it's like the Georgia bull.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
I think the browns uniforms are hideous. It looks like
a do doo stain, It really does.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
I just you know, yeah, the packers, the packers normal
helmet looks like a Georgia helmet that somebody threw up on.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
Yeah, I wouldn't say that.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
I just think that it's a different color Georgia helmet,
or Georgia has a different color green Bay helmet.
Speaker 8 (27:48):
Lee, as partial owner, do you get to say and
what they wear?
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Like?
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Do you guys get to vote on the uniforms? As
an owner of the packers.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
He still hasn't brought that napkin in to show us
there's a good deal. Hasn't brought that knack and the
certificate of of proof of.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Because that's still in his clothes hamper.
Speaker 8 (28:04):
There's a story I saw yesterday, and prob there's a
story I saw yesterday, by the way, that Green Bay
is the last team who hasn't gone with the Nike
rebuk Uh consensus of how to build the uniform. They
(28:28):
still license out to a local I guess you would
call them Taylor on how to make their uniform so
that their their neck, their v necks are different. Everything
about their uniform has got a different mesh to it.
I thought that was a pretty cool, interesting story. I
gotta share with you guys.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
You know.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
We'd get you on.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
But we know what happened to that. So yeah, we
have more than a v neck. Excuse me.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
That thing would mean Walt got more than that thing
would end it. That thing would end up. Uh, cheese
curds yesterday, No cheese curds.
Speaker 8 (29:06):
By the way, I didn't see any cheese curds during
the broadcast.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Yeah, well, little Lambeau leap was not in effect.
Speaker 8 (29:12):
I knew one Lamba leap by Tucker Craft that we
just heard.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
I knew it was the under God dang it, I
knew it was whatever. Well, look I switched up.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
You know, we can debate the unis, we can't debate
the fact they're a really good football team.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
So there they look good.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Uh, it is two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you.
So we will have another edition of In case you
missed It coming up in about ten minutes from now.
And in case you missed it, we're going to mention
the fact that there was actually the possibility of something
happening in the NFL which made no sense whatsoever. So
that'll be yours here in about ten minutes from now.
(29:49):
JJ McCarthy. As if he doesn't have enough on his plate, congratulations,
he just became a father as well too. So JJ McCarthy,
twenty two years old started his Uh.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
You know, technically, I think that is meant.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
To be.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Well, No, I mean it's you know, we're happy for
JJ McCarthy, but uh, I can't imagine how much you've
already got on your plate as a rookie starting quarterbase
basically a rookie starting quarterback in the NFL, all the
pressures that come along with that, and on top of that,
you just became a father. It's an awesome time. It's
(30:28):
an awesome moment for him, But damn, that's a lot
to deal with in your first year as an.
Speaker 4 (30:34):
NFL Can you guys do it in college?
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Man, Kat's be having kids in college and you got
to add going to class to it. It's just a
different I think athletes, you know, they have different mindsets,
and I just think people see things as it's just
in the added responsibility you know, you don't put you
(30:58):
don't put too much weight on it. In fact, I
think uh, when you when you have children, it actually
it actually puts things in further perspective for for you,
and I feel like it adds more value to to
what you bring to the table as as a player.
(31:21):
You may have been one that prioritized you might I would.
I I've generally always seen guys prioritized even more, like
better with with their time and just how they delegate
what they're doing when they're doing it, and and and
so to me, you know, I've always you know, I
(31:42):
had a kid my rookie year as well. So Keno
Keno was born right before, like right after I got drafted.
He was born that that uh, that May of the
year I got drafted in two thousand. That's why I
never forget his age. Uh as I could just reference
back to two thousand and I know how old he is.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
You get a pro football reference, Like, how do you
get every right, I've got a few pro football reference
to see.
Speaker 4 (32:09):
Yeah, yeah wait I got drafted in two thousand. Yeah,
he'll be twenty six next year.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
So anyway, it you know, to me, it just it
adds again so much value to what you already have
going on. And you're in a position where you're making
the type of money that you know, I don't think
there's too many other jobs. You can come right out
of college and become a professional, get a job, be
(32:35):
employed and make that type of wage. So it's just
it's one of those things. I think that it's like
kind of like one or the other. You either see
guys get in the league and they they go they
get after it, you know, they go for it like
you know, parties everywhere, traveling everywhere, you know a lot
of other things everywhere, or they kind of take on
(33:00):
more of the like a slower a slower way of
living life, a more conservative, less chaotic way of approaching
their lives. So and I don't know. I mean, you
can have babies in both by the way, I mean,
(33:20):
Tyreek Hill probably just had another baby.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
Too, but he's the daddy.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Does so kids doesn't necessarily mean you slow down or
you calm down or you cool loft with what you
got going on. But I was saying most most cases,
some some cases, it does.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
Yeah, Well, congratulations a JJ McCarthy. Second career start in
the NFL coming up on Sunday Night against the Atlanta Falcons.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
That'll be your Sunday night football game.

of this happening was comical.

Friday morning, everybody, go back.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
Go baby. By the way, it.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
Is in the building.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
A guy by the name of Tommy on X sent
over an AI generated video or a picture of homeless Lee.
It's unbeliefble, it's uncanny. It's literally and basically all he
did was just go to Lee's Facebook and just find
find the.
Speaker 8 (36:58):
Picture's literally a picture of you that I don't know.
I think he just lifted it.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
I can't even believe it. I can't find it. You
gotta send it to me. So what do we got,
lad guys?
Speaker 8 (37:12):
In case you missed this, the NFL has spoken and
said they will not punish Lamar Jackson for shoving a
fan on Sunday Night Football. After the fans shoved, they
keep saying shoved. I think slapped is a better term.
Slapped Lamar Jackson and his teammate DeAndre Hopkins on the helmet.
They did say that, uh, the matter has been addressed
by the club and there is no further action from
(37:34):
the league.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
Yeah, you and me, Var were talking about it yesterday.
Speaker 8 (37:36):
That other angle from behind where you see Lamar shoving
the fan and he just gets launched backwards.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Why was there even the consideration that you were going
to suspend it? Why was that even a talk?
Speaker 8 (37:50):
You cannot touch a fan, no matter what, how about
they can't touch you.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Well, I mean that too.
Speaker 8 (37:58):
It's the same thing that that happens on the field,
right if you get punched in the face, the ref's
not going to catch that.
Speaker 3 (38:03):
But if you retaliate, he hit two guys.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
I don't think it's the same as on the field,
because at the end of the day, if a fan
takes it upon themselves where they're close enough to touch
a player, and they do it in the manner of
which that fan did it, you can't call that a retaliation.
You call that a reaction, you know, and I think
(38:30):
listening to the sound bite of Lamar Jackson, if you've
heard it, it definitely was a reaction.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
It was not a retaliation.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Now, on the field, it's always the second guy that
gets gets, you know, the flag because they retaliate. But
I don't. I think it's a little different. I think
the idea of it, the rules are different, the rules
of engagement are different, you know, when when it's something
like that, because you can almost look at that as
being you know, self defense really in some regards.
Speaker 3 (38:59):
I agree.
Speaker 8 (39:00):
But do you think if it were a lesser you know,
for lack of a better term, a lesser player, a
lesser profile player, they might have made an example of
them and like given them at least a fine or suspension.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
No, because you remember, like we've had guys like you
remember Peters went into the stands.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
Oh yeah, and when I.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
Like, there have been incidents where players have have mixed
it up with fans and and I don't believe my
if my recollection serves me collect correctly, I don't. I
don't believe there was any like disciplinary actions that were
taken in some of those cases.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
I think it was was it Vince Young or was
it maybe it was Corey Dillon who took their shoulder
pads off and threw them into the crowd?
Speaker 4 (39:45):
All right?
Speaker 1 (39:46):
Like that? All right, you want to you want to
punish somebody? Okah, I got it. That's that's an object
to thrown into the crowd. Uh to to some fans
that you know didn't lay their hands on you.
Speaker 3 (39:59):
This is different.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
And this guy shoved two players in the face mask
as as hard as he could for some who knows why,
reason drunk, whatever the excuse is. We said it earlier
this week Bowl in the ring, like, throw him in
the middle of a bunch of linemen, call out a
(40:20):
number and just light his ass up. It's either that
you pick your punishment that or your band for life,
like whatever you whatever you want to go with, and
then if there's anything left of you, maybe you can
attend an NFL game afterwards. I just I don't I
don't understand, and I've attended a lot of games as
a fan. Never one time if I thought, you know
what I want to do, I want to go shove
(40:41):
a player and try and assault a player. Like It's
never crossed my mind. I've never I've never had that thought.
So you got to have another drink. Yeah, that's good advice.
