the cost of water was so high, and they ran
out Like everyone talks about firefest. You got no clue,
(02:04):
Go back and watch what Stock ninety nine and what
did they do? Blamed it all on Fred Durst, Yeah,
because he's the one. He's the one that raised the
water prices and it made you guys run out of
a run out of sewage options to relieve yourself in

So uh so we uh in front of me. We
(03:08):
are one game in two week three of the NFL.
How do you feel about it? Well, they are who
we thought they were. Yeah, I don't look the first
game Miami lost to Indianapolis, and we'll start there. I
don't know, man, because the Colts are still winning. The
(03:30):
Colts haven't punted yet. They literally were not punted yet,
and so you look at the game last night and
it's like, man, Miami was competitive, there were opportunities there,
there was a chance there, and ultimately Buffalo figured it out.
But it was the interception by Tua late in the
game that a lot of people are going to look
at and go, all right, well that was the that's
(03:50):
the difference between him and everybody else. And it's like, well,
you know, he made a mistake. But it's it's not
as if And when I look at the Dolphins, I go,
it's not as if they went into this season and
were like, all right, we're going for broke all right,
this is a you know, we're gonna we're gonna empty
the clip on this roster and we're gonna we're gonna
(04:11):
let everybody know that we mean business here. Like they
were making moves, they were you know, Jalen Ramsey, like
all sorts. They're kind of in a rebuild, and so
I'm watching last night, going there's still some pieces there.
I just don't think they're at a point now to
where they can compete against a Buffalo long term or
(04:33):
some of these other teams.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
And as you mentioned, it just kind of is what
it is with Miami. Yeah, I think it is what
it is with both teams. I think I think in
looking at the Buffalo Bills, their defense was a little
bit uh easy to access early.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
On in the game.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I think I thought that Miami had pretty good game
playing coming into it, and we're able to stay close,
We're able to make a game of it, and it
looked like a competitive matchup between divisional opponents. They you know,
Miami played, played pretty hard, and it was it was
(05:11):
a it was an even game. I mean, it was
an even game. You gotta believe. The second half, once
the adjustments were made, it was still a tight game,
they were able to put up more points later on
in the game. I mean they put up ten while
Buffalo is on excuse me, while Miami was only able
to put up seven in the second half of the game.
(05:33):
So it it makes you wonder because when a team
is able to go into a hostile environment like Buffalo
and be able to play on a high enough scale.
Because if you were recalled last week, Buffalo, who did
they demolished last week?
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Somebody?
Speaker 2 (05:55):
A divisional opponent, right, So now you got another divisional
opponent that that you have to play against, and you're
playing in my home. I would have thought that if
you said to me, would Buffalo beat Miami worse than
the way they beat the Jets? The way Miami looked
(06:16):
against Indianapolis, what would your answer have been. I mean,
the point spread said that they was going to get
that ass beat. Yeah, what was it thirteen and a
half or something? Twelve and a half twelve? I mean still, geez, yeah,
splitting the hair right there right. So to me for
them to go in there and they covered, you know
(06:36):
what I mean, like they if you went with them
with the Dolphins that you know they covered. But I
thought that they were much more. I came away from
this loss not looking at Miami as Okay, pack it up,
the season's over. I came away from this game saying that, Okay,
this could be a team that finds a way to
(06:58):
start maybe getting some victories. And they were close in
this game against probably a top three team in the league.
So I know, I know it's never a good loss.
There's there's never a way to say there's a good loss.
But I do believe that the way that they operated
(07:21):
and the way that they were able to execute against
Buffalo in Buffalo, if you're a Miami Dolphins fan, it
gave a little bit of hope. It gave it gave
a little bit of okay, like maybe we're not as
bad as I thought we were coming out of Week one.
And if you're Buffalo, you got to add Oliver on
the sideline. You know you're not at full strength, and
(07:42):
add Oliver is a real difference maker for this defense.
If you notice, they were able to move the ball
at times by running Miami, And I think that Buffalo's
defense has got to be better, even if they have injuries.
They got to be a better unit. They got to
be able to play better defense. Otherwise they're going to
(08:03):
their destined to repeat the same same type of shortcomings
that they've had in seasons past. Like you know, Josh
Allen can't do everything and shouldn't have to do everything.
Their often shouldn't have to do everything, So their defense
is going to have to be a little bit better.
I mean, they pitched a shutout in the third quarter.
(08:24):
It just you know, it'd be interesting to see, you know,
how that all plays out.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
When I watched Josh Allen play, Now I look at
him and I go that right there is another example
of you know, maybe we ought to practice a little
patience with some of these quarterbacks when they come into
the league because him as a rookie and him early
on in his career, he was a wild man. You
didn't know how the hell it was gonna go. I
(08:48):
remember we would joke on the air about it. It's like, man,
the great thing about Josh Allen is that it's either
going n it's nine, it's going ninety yards in one
direction or the other. Either he's thrown at ninety for
a touchdown, or it's a to be a pick six
and take into the house the other way. And you
just see the way he's in control and the way
that he plays now as opposed to when he was,
I mean even his first couple of years, you know,
(09:11):
in the NFL. And you look at how he is now,
man Like, he's like, we're talking about a future Hall
of Famer. Like the way that this thing is shaping up,
and it's it's a long way to go super Bowl,
you know, the whole conversation around that. But I look
at Josh Allen and go, that's a product of give
(09:31):
the guy a little bit of patience, let the guy grow,
have some stability within your organization, which I think is
the big thing, and then ultimately you put him in
a better position to succeed.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
And that's what he's done. Man, He's fantastic. He's really
fun to watch. He played really well. He was very efficient,
and give give Buffalo's offensive line a ton of credit
as well. They they opened up toles, they kept him
clean in the pocket. James Cook was able to have
a well of a game. He looks good if he
can stay healthy. Having that balance of what he brings
(10:06):
to the table, Josh Allen did not have to run
as much as I forecasted he would he would need
to run. But I mean the running game was was
on point. James Cook was really really able to get
you know, integrated into the game, playing very early. He
had a lot of early success running the ball, and
(10:27):
they were able to ride that out. It just makes
you wonder if Miami's defense was was stout enough to
be able to stop the run, you know, maybe that
game might have had a different outcome. And that almost
seems to me as though if you can figure out
what happened against the run, if I'm the Miami Dolphins defense,
(10:48):
I'm that defense staff today, I was probably watching that
last evening. If I'm a defense of staff member on
that team, how where did we go wrong against the run?
Because everybody is so so committed to talking about how
it's become a pass first league and be able to
cover the pass and be able to pass past pass. Well,
(11:10):
they were able. I mean, Josh Allen was able to
get off in in the you know, in the passing game.
But I mean it was it was totally set up
by how dominant that offensive line was and what they
were able to do with the running again running attack.
You know, it just it seems like this is a
very very well balanced team and maybe the only thing
(11:33):
that they have to concern themselves with is can their
defense be consistent? Yeah, that might be the biggest question
that they have. The answer now you want to hear
from your guy, Mike McDaniel. Mike McDaniel, the head coach, and.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yeah, that's you know, Yet you got people out there.
I definitely wasn't one of them throwing out the idea
that if this goes really poorly for them on Thursday
Night football, are we talking about a coaching change the
next we are? Not yet they were competitive. The two
interception later on with about three minutes left was critical,
But here was Mike McDaniel, the head coach of the
(12:11):
Miami Dolphins, talking post.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Game frustration that turns to focus. I would say that
I'm very focused and motivated to continue eliminating things.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
That cost us games.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
And you know, you have a young team, a lot
of people that you're counting on, and you need them
to not be young for very much longer and continue
to grow. But the it's I would say focus because
you know, I know I have a locker room that
is all.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
In to growth. Through the process.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
You know, there's some tough tough lessons are tough things
you have to deal with the National Football League.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
So there's your guy, Mike McDaniel. Too bad, he's pretty good.
I think he's in almost an impossible spot. And there's
other coaches that are in similar spots. You know, whether
you want to say Brian day Ball, you know, pick
a coach. You can go around the NFL and just say, well,
(13:16):
there's certain coaches that you know going into this, Brian
Callahan and Tennessee the it feels like the writing is
on the wall. It feels like the discussions are already
so loud that, barring an incredible playoff run, that the
Dolphins are going to be looking in another direction next year.
(13:38):
And he wasn't given the best opportunity to succeed with
the roster based on the moves that they had to make.
There's still conversations maybe they're going to trade Tyreek Hill.
That whole thing's going on. That's not a Mike McDaniel.
And then you've got all the rumblings and reports out
there of going into the season, how he handled the
(13:59):
locker room. He didn't put his foot down enough. He
started to lose the locker room. You've got an assistant there,
you know, with the defensive coordinator there that people look
at and go, oh, well, well, you know, he could
be he could be the next guy in waiting. He
could be a head coaching candidate. It just feels like
Mike McDaniel's in a spot to where you know, you're
(14:20):
just trying to survive and and you don't exactly have
the roster of the Horses to go against a team
like Buffalo. You'll get competitive, but ultimately in the end
you're just going to succumb to the pressure. And I
just I don't know how this ends. They're own three.
The odds would indicate they're not going to make the playoffs.
They've got, you know, they've got the Jets, the Panthers
(14:42):
and the Chargers next. Maybe they could go too and one,
all right, maybe they could go two and one in
that stretch, and then they've got Cleveland afterwards. But I
just don't see them making the postseason. And if they're
not making the postseason, I think the conversation is going
to come back around to what have we gotten done
with him as head coach? And then we're having another
discussion on Black Monday after the season is over where
(15:04):
the Dolphins are going in another direction, and I it
just it feels like he's been putting that spot already
and he's got an entire year to go.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
They're all valid points you make. Tua has to be better.
You asked, what do you have to show for it?
You were brought in to help toa become a better player.
In the initial he did, he did make to a
better player. I think Tua has to play better. If
(15:34):
if they're going to move forward, if Mike Mike McDaniel
is going to move forward, forward, If if Tua is
going to move forward, and some of these other players
on this roster are going to move forward with this
this this franchise, Tua is going to have to play better.
(15:54):
So you take those two major elements, the two major
elements that have to take place and order for this
season to not be a miss a punt is that
the defense has to tighten up. They got to play better.
I mean, they weren't horribly bad, but giving up ten
points while you're in the game, sudden change, I get it.
(16:19):
But the defense's gotta the defense's gotta do what they
need to do to make sure that they can sustain
If the offense is able to get on track, and
the offense has to go through Tua. I mean, there
was not very much production in the passing game last evening,
(16:40):
very very dry, very very bland. You're just not gonna
win very many games that way. And so whatever it
is that they did with Tua early on when he
was cooking and they were having good things take place
for them, they're going to have to get back to
being a little bit more aggressive on how they approach
(17:01):
their game plan because that wasn't it. That wasn't it
last night. And if Tua does not play better, then
I think the things that you're talking about do become real,
a real scenario that plays out. But it's riding on
his shoulder. He was, you know, the coach was brought
in to make him better he initially did. I think
(17:23):
it's still early, maybe too just a tap bit too
early right now to tell if they can turn it
around the way that they need to and have a
productive year. If they don't, I think the handwriting, as
you mentioned, is on the wall. If they do, then
that becomes a more interesting conversation than the idea of
knowing where this team looks to be heading to right now.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Tui's concussions changed the entire course of the organization. Entire
course of the organisation changed because of his concussions, because
if he's available, if he's if he's ready to go,
if he's out there, you know, they're they're you know,
record and the numbers with him in the lineup as
opposed to not in the lineup are drastically different. And
(18:10):
him going out with those concussions. I mean, look, people
forget they went into Buffalo and were really competitive in
a playoff game a couple of years ago, and I
think Skyler Thompson was their quarterback because Tua couldn't stay healthy.
I think you look at that and you go, his
health completely changed how we feel about Mike McDaniel now
and how we felt about him back then. But because
(18:32):
the thought was he was one of these next, you know, bright, young,
offensive minded guys who was going to step in from
the Kyle Shanahan try, and they were to he was
going to make this, you know, to a player, and
he did and he got him paid and all of
that was good and well, but then Tuas started getting
injured and it was a completely different team.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
It looks different, It looks different now it doesn't look
the same. No, so, but that's something that they got
to get through. There's no there's no excuses for it.
He's still the quarterback. He's still your starting quarterback. As
he mentioned, he doesn't hear the noise, so he doesn't
he doesn't pay attention to what's being said and what
he's hearing. So maybe that could be to their advantage
(19:11):
that that Tua isn't going to hear the noise or
isn't going to see what's being said, and he's just
going to continue to plug away. But he's going to
have to plug away a whole lot more efficiently and
effectively than what he did last evening.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
I mean plug you know, at least they're in Miami.
There's something you know, you can always get away.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
And uh, well that's what you guys said. That's why
it's okay losing there. Huh, like, hey, you know, see
you at the beach.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Or checks still clear? I mean listen, are they clear?
Get paid? You know, take a walk, you get a
long weekend. I mean your college team is doing well. Yeah,
that's true. Always there's always that. Yeah, it's not all
uh not all gone there for for Miami. It is

Two Pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here coming up a
little over fifteen minutes from now. Somebody apparently can't read
the room in the NFL. You'll hear from him. That'll
be yours here again fifteen minutes from now in another
edition of In case you missed it, But right now
(21:30):
it is time for the tire Raq Play of the Day.
Where's the snap back to pass?
Speaker 5 (21:36):
Hire's a dinnercept it pipped up by Terrel Bernard coming
the other way and out of bounds at the forty
yard line.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Terrell Bernard, mister fourth quarter comes up huge. He read
to a like a book Bill's Radio network on the call.
That's your tire raqt Play the Day. For over forty years,
Tyraq has been helping customers find the right tires for
how what and where they drive, shipped asked and freeback
by Free Road has a protection with convenient installation options
(22:03):
like mobile tire installation, tire rack dot Com. The way
tire buying should be. That's Metallica, isn't it. Who is
that Metallica? No, who is that?
Speaker 6 (22:12):
It was Cohen and Cambria.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Doesn't it like morph into like a different dum dum dumb.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
Oh you're thinking of you're thinking of Mellica. You're thinking
of Metallica with the Symphony Symphony. Yeah, they kind of
sound the same, doesn't it. They did the San Francisco
Orchestra Metallica did with them. Yeah, that's a mean song
right there. I mean Ramstein did it too. We were
keeping score. Oh god, I'm just telling you. That kind
(22:39):
of sounded like it though, didn't it. Yeah, because you
had the the stuff in the background over the metal.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Oh yes, you know it's Friday, so it's like in
it's football season.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Yeah. And I don't I don't.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Really ever have the urges to ever go play again,
but I do relive moments, like I relive moments like
at one point like I was a bad mother effort
yeah right, and then like every once in a while,
I hear stuff that like takes me back to like
things that I used to like. And it's crazy because
to think that I could actually I was capable of
(23:16):
thinking of the things that I would think of like
going into a game, and like I was really going
out there to do those things.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
It's kind of scary. It's scary scary to look back
at your mindset and how much it has changed.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Well, so it's interesting question because my mindset is still
the same. I've just redirected the energy into different things. Right,
So it's like getting up every day and being on
time and doing the radio show the way that you're
supposed to do it from for me, and and being
(23:51):
a dependable teammate. That's that's always been my mindset, right,
show up. But then there's the aspect of like the
domination of it, like dominate it, like let's be great
at doing it. There's a rhyme, there's a reason basically
being intentional, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
So that hasn't changed.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
But I don't have to take on people like I
do here, you know, like in football, Like in football,
I was the position that I was playing was a
position I chose because I chose violence. I wasn't trying
to get away from it. I wasn't big enough to
(24:33):
be in the trenches where I could get it every
single play where I like, we just like, let's go.
But at linebacker, it was like, you chose violence. Like
you are a Special Forces player. They call you in
when the negotiations go wrong. You're the team that you're
the unit they drop in. Go get the person, Go
(24:54):
get whatever the main objective is, and get out. Like
that's what our position was. So every once in a while,
I hear music and it takes me to a place
it's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
And you guys were the guys I gambled on. See,
everybody's got a role to play. Everybody's got a roll. Hey, hey, buddy,
go out there and get violent. I got you. Guys
might have four and a half. Everybody's got a role
to play. Hey, go sacrifice your well being and your
long term health. I got bills to pay.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
I'd be sitting in my locker room during the week,
and I would choose, like the best player on their team,
whether it was like Fred Taylor, whether it was Emmitt Smith,
whether Donovan McNabb or Troy Aikman, whoever was, and I
would find ways. I'd be listening to music like that
before I go work out and stuff like that or
(25:43):
go practice, and I would find ways to hate them.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Like literally hate them.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
I'd be sitting in my locker just look just like
music like it just amp you up, like on fire
in your head. I am going to knock this man's.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
Soul out of his body hard. I'm smashing knock them out.
That's right, And it's right here.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
It is like it's like it's like so it's like
you see the highlights in your head playing to the music,
the symphony, the sound of the music, and I would
match what I was going to do to a dude
out there on the field with the crazy music that
I was hearing in my head.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Just imagine if the song was good just as serious,
Hey bro, are you are you serious?
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Just imagine if you're hearing that going through your head
before the sound before the play snap like for the
staff of the ball takes place. Like you're out there,
you're hearing that. I'm sitting there like people be like,
why is he smiling? Because I ain't wear a mouthpiece
in the league, but I had a visor.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
You didn't wear a mouth piece. No really, no, Jesus,
I didn't wear.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
A mouth piece because I was a communicator. I like talking,
so you had your mouthpiece in your mouth, slobbery coming
out your mouth, so i'd be I'd be to take
my mouth. You see my mouthpiece and my helmet more
often than not. But I didn't use like you know,
I knew how to hit, so I ain't need a mouthpiece,
you know what I mean. But I was knocking people's
(27:22):
souls out of every body. That's crazy. I've been geting
a lot of calls about that Dallas documentary. I guess
it's episode six whatever I ended it.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
I was wondering if you were going to show up
in that I did.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
I've still not seen it. I haven't watched it. Keep
caring about it, man, I'm not listen. Yes, damn, I'm
proud that I got to hit him. I mean, I'm
not I'm not never proud about hurting anyone, but I'm
proud about the connection. Like there's He's not the only one,
(27:59):
believe me, there are. There are quite a few quarterbacks
that are and there's a few few running backs too
that are on that list of dudes. That like I
put him to sleep. He's done all right for himself though, absolutely.
And the more and the more famous he is, the
better it makes my hit.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
You know, one of them made history together, you know, Troy,
keep going, keep going. Bruce Smith broke the record. We
broke that record together.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
I tell everybody that all the time I made history,
I just didn't make my own history.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
I was a part of somebody else's. Oh yeah, listen,
People ask me, oh, you never played in the in
the game, was like, yeah, I did. And LeVar and
I together combined made three Pro Bowl.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
There you go. Yeah, that's right. We sit here every
day on time talking about ready to go. Imagine that.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
Imagine that. You know. One of the things I did
hear about Troy Aikman was, and I think it was
in his documentary Is Football Life Documentary on NFL Network
a couple of years ago, was that he actually wanted
to come back, and there were conversations about him coming back,
(29:06):
and I think it was the Dolphins that he was
kicking the tires on potentially coming back, and ultimately he
decided not to. But that part of the reason was
that they had to play Washington again. Well yeah, but
the part of the reason that he also there's.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
A boogeyman in Washington, and I'm telling you, for real, Troy,
you do not want to.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Return to this. But part of the reason that he
walked away was that he just felt like there was
dysfunction going on in Dallas. Also like he had the injury,
but he felt like that man, Yeah, that he just
didn't like sort of where the organization was at, which
is interesting when you hear him be as critical about
(29:47):
them now and people like God's he's an all time
Cowboys Great, It's like, well, yeah, he had the concussion.
LeVar ended his playing career, but any hopes of him
wanting to come back, he was like, I like, I
don't want to be a part of this because he
sense even back then, I look where they're at now,
and and thirty years later he's been spot on like
he could sense back then, I don't like where this
(30:08):
is headed, Like I don't like where we are, I
don't like where this is going. And he just decided
I'm gonna call it, Like I've won my three Super Bowls.
He did get away. He did had a Hall of Fame, which,
by the way, is also something else that you and
him have in common because I think you sensed early
on Dan Snyder was gonna get this boy. That's where
you get to trust your gut, wasn't It wasn't hard
to It wasn't hard to figure it out.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
Washington, we wasn't coming off of Super Bowl, was trying
to figure out if we were falling apart.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
So you've actually, like all these years later being like,
damn it, I knew it. I should have just I
should have just.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Bailed all the people that was talking crazy to me though,
Like Dada, you're just mad, You're mad, You're disgruntled. I'm like, no, man,
this dude is like he is not good. He is
not good. All the years, Yeah, and then all they
finally came out, But you're right.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
You know who knew.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
Champ Bailey knew. Bailey knew you know what I was new.
Deon Sanders knew Cats was getting the hell up out
of there. Deon did one year out. I thought he
was retiring.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
He just did well.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
They brought Marty in there. He was like, I'm out
out with the Baltimore. Champ Bailey is like, yeah, I'm
not restructuring ish y'all either gonna pay me or I'm up,
and he was up and that was the trade, right, Yeah,
and that's what screwed me. You know, we just had
that conversation like a couple of years ago. He didn't
(31:35):
even know that. Him screwing the Commanders, the now Commanders
then Redskins. Him screwing them and forcing them to do
what they did with him put the Redskins in a
bind where I had to.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
I didn't have to, but I.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Was the biggest, one of the biggest, bigger contracts, and
I I restructured my contract to help the team. So
that's what led to my contract issue that ended up derailing.
You know what I had going on in Washington. I
ain't really had nothing to do with it other than
trying to help the team out. But Champ got the
(32:16):
hell up out of here, goes and has a pro
Pro Bowl Hall of Fame career in Denver. And I
believe he got a super Bowl. He got a Super
Bowl right now. He might have missed it. He might
have missed it. Did he get one?
Speaker 1 (32:27):
Was he did? He only got one? Maybe he didn't.
Maybe he didn't. That would suck. Huh. He might have
missed it. I feel like he got one, did he No? No, God,
I think he missed it by a year, like a
year or now a couple of years, because it was
twenty sixteen and that was sort of towards the back
(32:48):
end of his career. But what a hell of a
career that guy had, Jesus, twelve Pro bowls. But yeah, congratulation. Anyway,
he knew to get out of there. I'll tell you
that to wait to read the room or something.
Speaker 4 (33:00):
I said.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
I'm in the room, like, Hi, Dad, I'm telling you.
I still remember reading a Washington Post column on the
dysfunction there where they were from A to z. They
went from like A to z on it. I mean,
it was the most detailed, one of the most detailed
(33:21):
articles I've seen, Dad Steinberg. I don't remember who it was,
but I remember that it was they were talking about
Scott McLuhan, and Scott McLuhan was an alcoholic and he
had a drinking problem, and there was yeah, they said,
Bruce Allen would leave corps light cans around the building there,
and I like just went in this full detail and
I'm looking at it, going Jesus. And the impetus of
(33:45):
the story was because they were taking out seats at
the stadium because they couldn't sell out the stadium. They
can't sell them, and so we were like, man, what
happened to this team? Like what happened to Washington? And
then they started doing a deep dive and I'm eating
this column, going.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Jesus, what is going on there? Dan Snyder was an
animal dog. He was an animal bro.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
What were those what were those after hours parties? Like
in that place? I ain't gonna say it was all bad? Why?
What's not all bad?
Speaker 7 (34:20):
What?
Speaker 2 (34:22):
You just had to come to the realization that that bad,
that that all good. It wasn't all good. And then
the bat started getting worse. Oh my god, it wasn't
all bad after parties when he when he was, when
you was cool with him, it was cool.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
I tell you that I had on a swivel cannons everywhere. Damn.
All right. By the way, let's talk about something serious here.

Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment. Good thing. The guys are here to
bring you in case you missed it.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
And for that we turned it over to our executive producer,
Bree Mua.
Speaker 6 (36:15):
Yeah yeah, I don't so much to let me hang
out with you guys. Today, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was
kind of caught in like a crossfire. He posted a
picture of him wearing a Michael Vick jersey with his
pit bull, and he had this response after he got
(36:36):
a ton of backlash on social media.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
You think that's a little too.
Speaker 7 (36:41):
So, you know, condone, you know, animal cruelty or dog
you know, dog fighting, whatever it is for me personally,
y'all saw me where the Michael Vick jersey, the player
that I admire very much growing up. And then you'll
be in home with my pup who you know, my
dog Trunks and Swoosh. They both get treated like king.
So it's not like, you know, in no way, shape
or form doing that. But yes, I saw how it
(37:02):
affected people, and you know, decided to take it down.
Speaker 8 (37:08):
You you mentioned too soon, man, you mentionine not having
not having the thought that like, hey, you know this
guy used to hang up dogs with jumper cables.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
Maybe I shouldn't be wearing this jersey with my dog.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
I feel like it's way more intentional, you think, yeah, man.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Like it's like that's the only thing that would make
sense otherwise what are you doing? I mean he wore
a Mike Big jersey with his dogs.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
I mean, like you know, you know, I know, bruh.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
You don't think he thought about it like I knew.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
I know what Mike Big like, if he's your hero
growing up, you know that what is downfall was at
one point in his career.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
Like you know, like there was I just didn't think
that it would go that way. So I'm not saying
this is the same thing. But O J had a
reality show years ago where it was like a pranked show.
In one of the episodes, he like faked like he
was gonna stab somebody. Oh though, it's like, dude, read
the room. What's going on? Didn't they write a book
talking about if I did do it? You know, if
(38:12):
I did do it, just let you know, like if
I did do it, so it would be like you
too soon? How do you know it's gonna it's gonna
land light balls? I think there were bulldogs I don't
know if there were pit.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Bulls close enough either way, closely either way, it's.
Speaker 1 (38:32):
Like a VIC jersey to me.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
Yeah, I did.
