Speaker 2 (01:28):
Good morning, Hi, hey.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
It happened. It happened.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Uh, big things ahead, Just saying, come on, man, oh
stage a.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Trade within in the division during the season. You do
not see that very often in the NFL.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
They must not think too highly of Flacco. Damn.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
That's fine, but they're not ready to watch the fireworks
go off. Joey Flacco. He's now leaving the Cleveland Browns.
He's now going to the Cincinnati Bengals, a move that
was pulled off yesterday. He's headed to Cincy for a
fifth round pick, and here we go. When has Joe
Flacco ever had this to throw to? All right, when

(02:11):
has he ever had this to throw to? In his career?
The Cleveland Browns have got, you know, Dylan Gabriel and
shod Or Sander Sanders. But now, but now you've got
the Cleveland Browns deciding to move on from Joe Flacco.
He gets to Cincinnati and they're going to make a run.
They're going to go on a heater, just like Cleveland

(02:34):
Brown's making a run a couple of years ago.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Come on, man, again, I don't I don't know if
I'm the if I'm the Cincinnati Bengals, I'm excited because
you bring in a guy who's familiar with the division
and has no no fear of it, and well, we'll
be a positive contributor. We'll probably be able to ramp

(02:59):
up and get up to speed very quickly on the playbook,
you know. But on the other side of it, like
I said, when a team lets you go, that's one thing.
When a team lets you go within the division and
it's a trade, that's another. Like, I just feel like
that's there's something to that. I don't know what it is.
But I would have that's like one of those lines

(03:20):
if you're saying, why did the line come down so low?

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Why why did the.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Margin come down of what you're predicting the victory to
be by. I just I don't know. I don't know
why I'm so comfortable with it.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Let me tell you why. I think there's two reasons
why I don't really look at it in that way
and like worry or care what the Browns thing. I mean,
Brown's already had him once, right, he helped lead this
team to the playoffs. That was kind of like a
different time for the Browns team. This team feels like
it's in a bit of a rebuild Bade at least
offensively speaking, with some of the pieces. So I'm not sure.

(03:56):
I'm not sure it matters so much that they're like,
all right, we trade him to the Bengals. The Bengals
had a need. They got what Brown's got a fifth
round pick, which you could become meaningful when it's all
said and done. If I'm not mistaken, isn't shoudor a
fifth round pick. So we'll see how that works out.
But these two teams don't play each other until Week
eighteen and Honestly, if you're the Browns and the season

(04:18):
continues the way it's going, you might want the Bengals
to beat you because then you're securing up the number
one overall pick, or at least you'd have the potential to, right.
So I kind of look at this trade as in,
I think they have a lot of respect for Joe.
He's been in the league for a long time. I'm
sure Joe is kind of like, Hey, I told you

(04:39):
guys in the way in I'll compete for the job,
but I'm not here to really like babysit. So if
I'm not going to be the guy and you guys
want to bench me, just let me go elsewhere. And
if you can trade me, trade me. I still want
to keep playing. And I would imagine that if the Browns,
they probably reached out to a number of teams, and
I bet the Bengals gave him the best offer with
a fifth round pick. And now, to Jonas's point, he

(05:03):
gets to throw to two of the best receivers maybe
he's ever been able to play with. Unfortunately, it's behind
a not very good offensive line.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
If what you're saying is true, that's to me. So
we're saying that the Browns are punning on the season.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Then yeah, I mean the Browns have done some really
unique things with their front office in the past, right,
I mean, they basically bought a first round pick by
trading for shooting, a second round pick by trading for
brock Oswaller. They absorbed his cap hit he obviously ended
up not being there, and they got a second round
pick in exchange for it. Like, the Browns have done

(05:37):
some different things in order to maneuver and make sure
they built through the draft. Because again, if you really
look at this team, it's a very well built team,
with the exception of one position that has not really
worked out for them. Although they did draft that guy,
it's just they ended up not extending him and letting
him go, that guy being named Baker Mayfield.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
I don't know, it's so early in the season. If
I'm a Browns fan, I mean, if you're a Browns organization, like,
all right, you know we're putting on the season. But
if I'm a Browns fan this early in the season,
and I'm already showing signs of punting, because I mean, listen,
they were.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
You not follow the Browns. I mean, this is this
is what happens, man, this is what it's been. I mean,
think about the O win sixteen season, the one fifteen season.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
I'm almost like Deon Sanders with it. Actually I could.
I don't give a darn about.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
I know I can tell, but that's why, like, don
give it. In this summertime when we talked about you
how like Chador's going to make the roster and Chador's
going to play at some point, and you were like no, no,
and then you kind of, you know, flipped how you
felt about it. But uh, this has always been it.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
I didn't never flip anything.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
I'm closer to what I felt initially than I would
be to him.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
You one hundred percent at one point, so there is
no point, and then you flipped around saying, well they
just starting then, which again.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
I didn't flip if I said that in an ideal situation,
if I were making the situation, if I was handling it,
I would just start Shador, I would just start up.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
But well, he's gonna get to start at some point.
We know that, you think. But the question is like, yes,
Billy Zappi, Bailey Zappi's on the practice squad. He's probably
gonna start some games. Like, by the way, he's the
most experienced of all the quarterbacks that are there now.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
I think they're like, is gonna carry it out the
rest of the year, That's what I think.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
No, no chance, I bet if they don't turn this
thing around the next four games, which mind you the
uh they got the Steelers obviously in Pittsburgh, that's a
tough one. Then you've got the Dolphins. They should be
able to win that at home, you'd think. And then
they've got two back to back road weeks, and I
think if if, if not, I'm not sure if you're
looking for a soft landing spot Las Vegas, which would

(07:50):
be tantalizing from a from many for many reasons. One,
you know, Las Vegas is struggling right now. The other
thing is like there's a lot of conversation about potentially
taking a quarterback, and you know Las Vegas didn't take him,
so there'd be some storylines with that one. And that
might be, you know, that the softest landing spot as
far as a team you'll play. Outside of that, I

(08:13):
wouldn't ben till late in the season versus like Tennessee
or something like that.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
I don't think he plays well.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
It's not like the Giants.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
It's not like the Giants where they've got Jackson Darts.
They've got Jackson Dart in at quarterback, and it's like,
all right, he's our guy, and we're gonna see what
we got and we're just gonna roll him the next
the next few weeks, and we're going to see the
rest of this year what we've gotten our in our quarterback.
Dylan Gabriel is a third round pick. They're going to
be drafting a quarterback next year anyways. Why wouldn't you
throw shitor in there at some point?

Speaker 5 (08:43):
Why not?

Speaker 1 (08:44):
You're gonna be back back in drafting one anyways next year,
So who cares?

Speaker 5 (08:49):
That's so crazy?

Speaker 4 (08:50):
I mean, y'ah talking buddy, That is so crazy that
like that, like what you make I know what this is?
Like what you guys make that word and that brand
synonymous with is crazy?

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Like that's crazy.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
They stink, y'all, y'all make the Browns s anonymous with
dysfunctional stink.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
You know what the worst part is is they've got
a Hall of Fame you know, player in Miles Garrett,
who I mean, cheez man outside of the one playoff
year with Mayfield. I just there's not many bright spots
if you really think about their team's win loss record.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Only bright spot Ye, the checks.

Speaker 6 (09:38):
Why would you pay me because we went with me
on a team. He's like, you know what I want.
I want to win a supervisor. I'm not winning being
on the team. That's why you need to be I
need to get out of here. They slide a check
across the table. He's like, I don't mind sucking. Yeah,
I don't mind sucking that bad. I mean we can compete.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
I mean, you know, only thing that'd be well what
they say, the only thing worse than the loss is
what beats the loss is not trying or never it's
early never mind.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
So let me ask you this. I guess there's been
two decent seasons for uh Man. It's crazy, there's been
two decent seasons for the Browns since Garrett's been there.
But can you guys guess it's not even worth it? Okay,
they went eleven and six, obviously, you know a couple
of years back when they made the playoffs in twenty
twenty three, and then there's the Mayfield year leads in

(10:31):
the playoff they beat Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh and they lose
in the divisional round. That's it, man. Besides that Owen
sixteen seven, eight, one, six and ten, eight and nine,
seven and ten, three and fourteen and there are one
and four Now, yeah, that's Miles Garrett's career while he's
been in Cleveland.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
They were close to a win this past weekend.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
I thought, I thought Dylan and the reason why I
felt so positive about saying Dylan Gabriel will lead him
out the rest of the way is.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Look pretty good.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
I think with Jones's point, don't kick the tires.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
At some point, I think we've got to start readjusting
how we evaluate game to game success for the Browns,
and I think they should no longer just have wins
and losses. They should have wins and losses against this well,
it's because they're Browns. Well against the spread, anybody, that's
a home game for me, all right, trying to make
it out.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
Of live careful, y'all.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
I've been carrying this thing out, Y'all've been running this
thing all week man.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
I don't know about y'all. Man, I'm exposed.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Y'all have exposed a different out of me and and
the world this past week.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Man, you know the other thing that's a real kicking
the nuts for the Browns, really against Browns, you know
the other thing that's a kicking the nuts for the Browns.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
They were probably thinking of themselves.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Like, oh wait, we're going to get the Jags first
round pick next year two and the year after sweet
that picks now at twenty six right now, So like
they can't even get that right. So they've got and
they've got Jackson Mills and the way Jacksonville's playing, that
could be in the in the real high twenties at
this point going into the next year.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
So they didn't even really nail that one.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Just I mean, why not. For the Bengals though, the
question is how fast can you get Joe Flacco up
to speed? He'd been around, played a lot of football,
But they've got green Bay this week. That's a big
time challenge. I believe any Lamboat too, if I'm not mistaken.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
He did see him earlier this year, that's true.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
The one thing that when I talked to the Colt
staff and I was talking about Daniel Jones and what's
what's made him so successful in this Colt system? You know,
They were very honesty. They said, look, you know, we
saw a lot of ability in him watching his rookie tape,
and then it felt like, you know, over the next
you know, a few years really or you know that

(12:51):
y'arre moving moving there were thereafter their offensive line struggled.
They didn't have a consistent running game. Obviously, the wide
receiver position is like less set up than what we
feel like we've got, you know, here in Indye. But
it was like coaching, They're like, you know, the style
of coaching everything else, he just it wasn't conducive for
him to be able to have success there, and we

(13:14):
feel like this is much better the way we coach
how to read a defense, that the plays we give
him at the line of scrimmage and the options he's
got to audible and get us into the best play.
Like all that stuff plays to his skill set and game.
And I said, well, you guys had a little bit
about Joe flack Olashy and they go, yeah, but it
was different. You know, Joe, Joe sees the field and
how he sees, you know, where he goes with the

(13:36):
football different. You know, Daniel takes in so much pre
snap and then he's confirming post snap, and you know
he's going based on where he kind of should be
going where we talked about drawing it up. They're like
Joe gets back there, man, and he just kind of
sees and feels space. You know, he's he's looking where
the kind of the read should be, but he's not
reading a defender. He's not necessarily you know, going through

(13:57):
it in a certain way. That's as I don't want
to say, like robotic or regimented, but it's more of
like a very free flowing kind of slinging. It's kind
of thing, and which you know, for the Bengals that
could be a great thing. And also getting him up
to speed he's been around everything so much also could
be a great thing, you know, simplifying it and just
kind of going out there, Hey, Jamar, go run and

(14:19):
go out uh t go go on a comeback. If
they roll up the coverage to impress you just run
to go route till hit one of you guys. You know,
like that's that works. That works when you have those
two kind of receivers to throw too.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
We'll see and theory it's supposed to work, but why
isn't it working now? I mean, isn't browning, but isn't
he throwing to that same tandem? Like it should be easy,
It should be easy to manage with that type of talent. Though,
I get it different quarterback better results from Flacco. He's

(14:54):
had a better career obviously, but shouldn't you be able
to have success with a pro quarterback, like a professional
that plays football to make throws to those guys? That's
to me.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
I just you know, we'll see, We'll wait and see.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Well, that's interesting comment.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
Though.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Do you think this is about perception?

Speaker 7 (15:19):
Then?

Speaker 3 (15:20):
I think since that I just making it look like
they're trying to hold on. Correct, that's what they need
to do.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
Yes, correct, and as they should.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
There was an ESPN report that said they didn't even
reach out about Russ or Jamis.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
I don't know that that's the movee you would want
to make, just being honest, like, okay, Jamis.

Speaker 5 (15:40):
We've talked about Jamis and listen, does that make sense? Sure?

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Why not?

Speaker 4 (15:45):
Make why not make it make sense? But if we're
talking safe like not and listen, he could be a
lightning rod for some positivity and some fun and some
some you know, real entertainment. I mean he brings that
that element, But I do think it's perception and you're
bringing in a guy that has shown that he can

(16:07):
have success even at this late juncture in his career
and it can take. I think it gives the fan
base hope to have, you know, just stick in there
and stand in there for this season.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Yeah, I mean obviously he did it a couple of
years ago in Cleveland. The reason why I bring that
up is because I think there's maybe more pressure on
Zach Taylor than people want to give credit.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
I agree with that.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
I think, like to your point about the talent, to
your point about they should be able to get some wins,
they should be able to Like the ownership made the
investment in Jamar Chase t Higgins, Trean Hendrickson to bring
him back. I get it Flacco's not there, or excuse me,
Burrow's not there, but there's probably a thought of like,
we should still be able to find a way of winning.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
Success and a one year deal with Trey right like this,
that's a one year deal they did with him, So
you're saying we're one season with them.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
So if I'm if I'm ownership and you're the you know,
coaching staff. There's probably a little bit of tension there, right,
I mean just in regards to like, hey, this is
not the result the probably the way they brought it
into new defensive coordinator Al Golden, Like, this is not
the results that we want. And you know, we know
we have Joe Burrow, we know he's hurt, he'll be

(17:23):
back at some point, but we got to figure in
a way of like keeping this boat afloat. Otherwise we're
just kicking the can down another season. And I think
for a lot of Bengals fans that's got to be
frustrating knowing you've got a guy who's you know, able
to make it to a super Bowl and yes, again hurts.
So that's not part of the conversation. But you know,

(17:44):
we've seen other teams. Kevin Stefanski, the Browns are still
able to make a super Bowl or excuse me, make
it the playoffs, you know, despite having four different quarterbacks
play that season. So they probably look around saying like,
why can't our coach do this?

Speaker 1 (17:58):
I mean, if if that's and see job opened up,
that would be a coveted gig, Like there would be
a lot of people who would love the opportunity to
work with Joe Burrow and that cast that he's got there,
you know, especially that's why, Yeah, the Zach Taylor conversation,
I mean, since he hasn't been to the playoffs for
a couple of years, and they had this whole strategy

(18:20):
going into the season of well, you know, we're going
to play in the preseason and we're gonna come out
strong because we've gotten off to these slow starts and
then we're playing catch up later in the year and
we don't have enough time to make and then Burrow
gets hurt, and so they're probably looking at this going
we just somehow Someway got to stay afloat until he
comes back. And now Joe Flacco's gonna make another stop

(18:42):
in the AFC North, all right, He's got one team
to go. If he gets to Pittsburgh, he can you know,
pull off all four.

Speaker 5 (18:49):
In that division that he's played for. So how about that.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
Now we get to see it. It is really interesting
when you look at it from the perspective of like
Zach Taylor gets there, they really struggle in the first
couple of years, you know, two and fourteen, four eleven
and one, and then they get Joe Burrow, right, well,
and I guess they had Burrow that the four eleven
in one year, but you know, you look at the

(19:13):
next year, they go to the super Bowl, and so
in any like preconceived pressure that Zach Taylor felt in
twenty twenty, which mind you, I mean again, they're a
four to eleven and one team, and they had Burrow
as a rookie, so there were some questions about, like,
all right, is this going in the right direction. They
go ten and seven, They end up going to the
super Bowl that year, and that alleviated any concerns. Right

(19:36):
the following year again, you know, twelve and four playoff team,
they lose the conference championship. So you go go back
to twenty twenty two, like everyone's like, okay, like we've
got a team. We just we're still kind of figuring
this thing out how we can build it to to
win a super Bowl. And then it's nine in eight,
and then it's nine and eight and Burrow with some
injuries and obviously this year to impacting that. Now they're

(19:59):
two and three. You just go, all right, is it
starting to get like the tension and building again to
whether or not this team hit its ceiling? Whether or
not this is as far as they can go. I
just I think those questions are probably starting to pop
up a little bit right now about how this team
is gonna be able to manage this moving forward.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
They would be legit questions.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
I mean, if you're wondering if they hit their ceiling,
that would be probably a legit concern or question, Which
is interesting because Joe Burrow so young and you have
so much talent on that team. But you gotta stay healthy.
I mean, you got to be able to stay healthy.
If you can't stay on the field, then you can't
make a difference, you know. So that's it's interesting to

(20:41):
be in that type of situation though, you know, to
have so much talent, got everybody signed, you know, Cincinnati,
so to see that you were able to pull it
off and not lose guys to a trade or to
free agency, you know, and to be hair based off
an injury and see how it plays out. But I mean,
I think those are super for valid points that you
just made in terms of the concerns about this team

(21:04):
and where they currently stand.

Speaker 8 (21:07):
Remember when h Lafarus to do the Hey, Cincinnati, Cincinnati anymore,
ain't hurt that in a while.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
Well, I mean, I mean, I mean we have done that,
but just wasn't directly on the field. Cincinnati, Okay, you
did well, Cincinnati, all right? No, you know, not a
not a Florida quarterback of any sort, or no Vegas

(21:41):
or California. Imagine that your backup came to the plate
like that. And Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
When we were talking, uh, we're talking Browns talking Bangles,
Orange Orange, let's talk Home Depot. You recognize that orange
and everyone knows questions start with that first code. That's
why you can trust Kills Primers for a smooth and
professional finish. Kills Primers now available exclusively at the Home
Depot if you're a pro, you know, sponsored by the

(22:09):
Home Depot to lunch. By the way, we are going
to have the usuals coming up later on. We've got
another edition of in case you missed it. We've got
our Midweek Awards, Petros, Papadenka, Stopspy, We've got the leftovers.
All of it is yours here on this three hour extravaganza.
Up next though, the window is open. What windows that? Oh,
it's one that we've been waiting to get some clarity on.

(22:31):
In the world of football and it's yours next here
on FSR.

Speaker 4 (22:34):
No, the window you was talking about was to give
some air because when you get a cold of that
bluetoo gets hot, real hot. You need to kids some
air from that outside, some fresh air. You know why,
because you put it up and you put it down.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
But only have you got a hold of that blue
chew that is because it makes you a superstar. It's
your cheek code, oh your crotch, that's right. I ain't
lying to you, just got to tell you the truth.

open finally in the world of football. We'll get into
that for you here on FSR. But right now, it
is time for the tire rack play of the day.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
Here's the pitch hid.

Speaker 12 (25:42):
Flag ball dig left field plan on the left field line.

Speaker 13 (25:45):
It is off the fair ball Hey now, hey now,
hey now hover and jutt this game is tired.

the way tire.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Buying should be.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
We've got another edition of incase you mystic coming up
here in about fifteen minutes from now. The windows open,
the portal window, the transfer portal window is open, and
it will be open coming up in January, as the
NCAA officially implemented their one time Transfer portal for college football.
It will take place from January second to January sixteenth,

(26:34):
which feels like there's some actual college football going on
at that time, so I'm not sure how this benefacts.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Some important stuff. Yeah, this is tough because in January
nineteenth is the National Championship, So there's the chance that
you're going to have, you know, not only those two
teams obviously, but most likely the four teams playing at
that point in time are going to be dealing with,

(27:01):
you know, a backup getting offered to go somewhere else.
Bo Prebula from Penn State Laharn knows this better than
anyone else because Penn State was in this position and
Bo Prabula talked about how hard of a decision it was.
But but that's what the NCAA is doing. They're putting
these young men in a position where and in order
for them to be able to have an opportunity go

(27:22):
somewhere else in some and in some instances make a
million dollars over a million dollars, you know. That's that's
what they're doing. That they're putting that right in front
of them at that time of year. So obviously people
smarter than me, are you know coming up with this
window for most likely the academic calendar window. That that
would be my guess, because otherwise I have no idea

(27:44):
why you wouldn't have just doing the spring. It makes
complete sense to have one window like they've done. Kudos
to them on that, but put in the spring. You know,
there's so many reasons for why that makes complete sense.
So I don't know why they keep targeting this time
of year. There's so much on these coaches plates. It puts,
you know, players in such a tough position. I hate

(28:07):
everything about it, I really do. I'm all for transfer
portal and then I own all that stuff. Let's figure
out like a right timing for all of it, though,
And this doesn't feel like that.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
You know, why am I thinking about opting out opt outs?
Like just listening about the portal conversations and stuff like that. Like,
imagine you're on a team like I don't know, let's
just use Penn State as an example, and you don't
feel confident about staying at the school, and you know

(28:41):
that the portal is opening in January and that's something
that you may be planning on doing. Who's to say
that you don't start seeing that from schools? And I
threw Penn State out there just because of the big
loss last weekend. But take any any team that is
a highly rated team that would have high aspirations and

(29:05):
expectations to contend and get to the playoff, but yet
their season isn't unfolding that way. I mean, isn't there
the potential of And maybe that's always been there, but
I just started It's like it really kind of just
started resonating with me kind of the way I saw
like the body language of some of the guys that

(29:27):
were on the team, Like, man, what's to stop these
guys from opting out on continuing to play, especially if
they haven't played much and they and they have the
four or five star or or have something connected to
them where they could get into the portal and get
to another.

Speaker 5 (29:44):
School pretty easily.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
What's what's stopping them from opting out as soon as
they know that the playoffs are fleeing?

Speaker 3 (29:53):
You know, it's yeah, most most likely whatever is in
their agreement right now at the house and say settlement
there they're all being compensated to some degree and there's
probably some language in there that prohibits them from doing
that in very action.

Speaker 5 (30:05):
M m hmm.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
So this is the year because that was a big
that's a big thing for for bowl season. That's like,
that's a big thing, is opting out. So that's yeah,
there language now.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
So the interesting thing about bull season is Bull season
has has always been like the icing on the k
kind of something extra, and it's one of the reasons
why there's been a lot of players who for a
long time have tried to leverage that you know, extra
game calling an exhibition game, because that's kind of what
it is, right unless you're playing for the national championship,

(30:41):
it's an exhibition game. It's just another game after the season, right, like,
like what does it ultimately matter? I mean, look why
I played in two BCS games, the Fiesta and the
Sugar Bowl, and you know there's another opportunity compete, another
opportunity to play football again. You know, you get some
awesome prize gifts, you know, Bowl gifts, and you know,
you know, to a nice warm weather destination. It's like

(31:03):
that was it? Though, Like if you really pull back
the curtains, most of those bull games, you know, these
schools aren't making money, especially if they're not one of
the New Year six where there's like a payout. So
if you really, like if you really look at it, yeah,
like players have kind of already been doing that to
a degree, but now since thallasd SA a settlement, I

(31:24):
believe the things are more structured where it's harder for
players to do that necessarily.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Be interesting to see how that all plays out, because
you got to believe that these agents are going to
try to find loop holes or going to try to
muscle and you know just kind of you know, force
their force their agendas. I think it's I think it's interesting.
But one one transfer portal starting in January. I think

(31:54):
you know that kind of says you got to take
advantage of this one time opportunity. And I just wonder
how far out does does that planning take place if
you're one of these kids, if you're one of these families,
now that you get one go at it.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
The Prabula example that Brady brought up, like, that's that's
the one that I like, I felt bad for him
here in the way he explained it, and even the
way James Franklin defended the guy. I was like, look,
he had no choice. He had to do it. Like
he didn't want to. He wanted to be a part
of the Rod. He wanted to be a part of
the semi final, but he had no choice, especially if.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
You got a team on the table that you would
like to play for.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
And also it's not like he didn't get playing time
last year. Had aler gotten hurt in that in those games,
he would have been the guy they would have turned
to and they couldn't because.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
He's got that. I'm just he's playing really good football
right now. MISSOI is. And people kept saying, they're like, ah,
he'd be a better fit Forrandy Koloniki's system and looking
at it, you're like he would have.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
Been, can we are Why do you do this to me?

Speaker 5 (33:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (33:12):
We're now we're going to go what are you blaming
me for? I'm just saying, I'm saying what Penn State
fans are thinking.

Speaker 4 (33:17):
Okay, pick on my team every single day?

Speaker 5 (33:21):
Yeah, pick on me, and it's okay. It's a down moment.
It's a loud because.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Something I did see something that was interesting. It was
they're they're saying, Penn State has just checked all the
boxes to win a national championship. You lose to Oregon
in the regular season, you then turn around and lose
to an unranked team, and then you just put the
foot on the gas the rest of the year and
you go win it all good point. So maybe I
mean that's what how State did last year, or maybe

(33:48):
this is all they needed. I'm trying to help out
and be positive here.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
I think that I think that Northwestern is going to
get that wark this weekend.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
It's a pretty good They got some good Uh.

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Listen, I gotta see them improve. Like it's one thing
to let a game get away from you and then
go lose another game. It's the way we lost that
that last game, Like, I don't you know, if we
don't correct that that, I don't feel like that's something

(34:26):
that is going to go away. So and that's on
both sides of the ball. I mean, it's on both
sides of the ball. So I don't know. We'll see.
I'll be there. I will be there. I mean, I'm
not not going to stop going right. Tailgate still rolling,
Come to Stick City Tailgate byt to you boy, Louisiana

(34:46):
Hot by the way, Yeah, buy you some, buy you some.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe.

Speaker 1 (34:53):

Knox with you coming up next to here, though, somebody

get this pergola in the backyard and destroyed it, wind rain,

mother nature wants to act a fool. This year, I'm
gonna give mother Nature that work. Kills Primers came in handy.

sports or entertainment. Good thing the guys are here to
bring you in case you missed.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
It, And for that we turn it over to our
executive producer Patrick SWEEKA.

Speaker 12 (37:35):
Hey, what's up guys. Good morning, Patty? What is going on?

Speaker 5 (37:40):
Show him? Patty?

Speaker 12 (37:42):
It's your boy? What's up guys?

Speaker 7 (37:45):
In case you missed it, Here's what Dion Sanders had
to say. So with the whole trade with Chadour is
now number two quarterback under you know, Dylan Gabriel still
the one, but Flaco's gone.

Speaker 12 (37:56):
Gabriel's up.

Speaker 7 (37:57):
But you know what, Deon Sanders kind of dismissed it
trade in fact that Lorena played that.

Speaker 5 (38:01):
For me real quick.

Speaker 13 (38:02):
Yeah, I got it practice. I was just wondering care.
I don't give it d about the Browns at all.
I care about the Colorado Buffalo's. I do love me
something shut door cutting. Just don't believe that I care
about him and the rest of that means I don't. Okay,
I'm a coach trying to win just like they're trying
to win games. But I could care less of who

(38:25):
they traded.

Speaker 12 (38:26):
He does not care, dar Why would he?

Speaker 5 (38:32):
I don't give a durn about any of that mess
over there.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
He's got figure issues going on. There's health and his
team stinks.

Speaker 5 (38:39):
I'd be very true.

Speaker 3 (38:46):
They didn't draft his son.

Speaker 8 (38:47):
I mean, it's like they did draft him, they did
care a little You could care a little that protect his.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
Son a little bit, Like, I don't know, you should
probably care a little bit.

Speaker 5 (39:00):
You should probably care just a little bit.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
I mean, what does it matter? His son already got
his jeer asy retired.

Speaker 5 (39:05):
He's good.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
I mean, do you think statements like that could hurt
his chances of getting the opportunity to play?

Speaker 3 (39:12):
No, No, I don't. I don't think that matters at all.
I think also, you know, it's tough, like he's in
a position where he's trying to turn things around in Colorado.
You know, like ultimately he's dealing with his own health
issues and you know what he's got going on. But
this is a Colorado team that you know, since he's
been there, they haven't really faced this sort of adversity.

(39:33):
You know, they've they've lost now what three and four?
Two and four? Is that there now? I believe so? Yeah, yeah,
So it's just they've never been at this point. They've
got to face a top twenty five team in Iowa State.
He's one of the best teams in the Big twelve
this week, they have to go to Utah a couple
of weeks after that. I mean, it's a rough slave
for them the rest of the way. Like, I don't

(39:54):
know that they'll even get the bull eligible this year.
So he's got bigger fish to fry.

Speaker 5 (40:00):
Tang.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
Yeah, one three in conference too great And speaking of
bigger fish to fry, there, guys, And we're gonna stay
with the NFL.

Speaker 7 (40:08):
So we all know obj Odell Beckham Junior. For those
that don't know, uh, you know, great wide receiver. Well,
he doesn't have an NFL home right now. Uh, and
probably made it a lot harder for him because he
has accepted a six game ped suspensed from the NFL.

Speaker 12 (40:26):
Hi, let's go, what was he on Jonas? What was
he on the gosh, you're not.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
Even disputing it.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
You're not even gonna pull the DeAndre Hopkins there was
something in my shampoo, Like he could say, well, you know,
I unknowingly, you know, took something I wasn't aware. Not listen, man,
you pissed hot. It's all right, it's the NFL.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Nobody cares. Julian Edelman pissed hot cares. It's not major
League Baseball.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
You're not getting an eighty game ban and then a
lifetime ban if you do it three times.

Speaker 3 (40:57):
Get six games. I thought it was four, but guess
that's six now.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
Maybe he pissed like really hot. It was like burning
hot levels to it.

Speaker 3 (41:06):
Wow, it's not It's not a bad move. Though. All
these dudes once I uh, you know, got out of
the league, they all get out like what is a TRT? Yeah, yeah,
it's growth and they're like yeah, no, man, I'm just
truly hitting the weights. And I'm like, yeah, all.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
Right, you should see with the UFC, let fighters take
TRT for a short time. They're like, yeah, listen, we
think you know, to help you in camp, and no problem.
These guys got so jacked. The UFC is like, all right,
let's go ahead and take that back. This is not
a good idea.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
It's not great. You know, somebody could get hurt. It's fighting.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
But you know, by the way, why has OBJ still
talked about the way that.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
He is because of that one catch?

Speaker 5 (41:54):
Yeah, I mean he was better than one catch, but yeah,
you know how that goes
