Two Pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here coming
up on this Football Friday. Of course we're going to
talk football. We're gonna try and figure out what the
hell that was to start off Week ten in the
NFL between the Broncos and the Raiders. Is Denver just
a giant tees? And are the Raiders as bad as
they seem, especially when you can't get Brock Bauers the ball.
(00:22):
We'll discuss. We're also going to have a discussion about
somebody who's got an alter ego after three starts, imagine
that in the NFL he's got an alter ego. There
were some history made in the world of college basketball
as well too. Speaking of college could Pats Fitzgerald be
making his return? We will discuss. We're also gonna have
another edition of Quinn's Wins. You got somebody who realizes, oh,
(00:43):
this team in the NFL sucks, So I'm gonna go
to a team in Major League Baseball who also suck. Plus,
we've got our picks against the spread, and we've got
the leftovers. It's all yours. Next here, Two pros and

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Yeah, do you how we join this Friday morning?
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Do you think Chase Brown of the Bengals is watching
that Broncos Raiders game, going why can't we get that defense?
You know what, We'll trade you. You give us your
awful offense, and then we'll go join that team. So
we got an awesome defense, and then we would just
beat everybody in the history of the league by thirty
(02:44):
five points. Because Denver's offense is brutal.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
It's bad.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
We didn't have a great night, n you know, it's
a little care at least.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
But neither quarterback did, neither offense did. And these are
like short weeks, familiar your opponents, division rivals. This always
kind of works out that way. You're gonna have bad games,
and this was one. Offensively, Denver found a way to win.
I kind of look at this team as like, I'm
not saying a team of destiny. Did I say, Oh God,
(03:14):
did you do it? If I look a they're finding
ways to win. You gotta take your hat off given credit.
It's ugly. But you know, we always talk about the
best teams know how to win in multiple ways.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I think the Broncos have defined that.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
This season, have they They know how to win it
multiple ways?
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yeah, because they look across the field.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
Sometimes they go up, really gonna do this, and they
get it done and they make that job done.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Bar dang, they go down that lane. Huh, even when
they supposed to get it done.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
But they're winning. They're finding a way.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
You know, I'll say this, I would rather a team
developed during the course of a season winning this way
early on than the latter, like then then blowing teams
out in you know, like we were talking about the
Colts and stuff like that, right like they've been beating
teams by too to possession, uh deficits and can you
(04:10):
can you handle playing from behind?
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Can you? You know?
Speaker 6 (04:14):
I always like, well, that's probably a bad term these
days because Peter probably get caught up.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
No, no, no, no, Ain't that's funny.
Speaker 6 (04:23):
I was going to say, you know, I put to
you like this, I'll take it out of dogs. I
put it on wrestlers. I like a wrestler that knows
how to fight on their back, right, Like uh a
m m, A fighter, right, Like it's easy to be
able to try to get things done standing up, you know,
it's it's easy to be front running when when you
have a situation.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
But what can you do when you're on your back?
What do you do when.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
When you're in when you're in your guard?
Speaker 4 (04:49):
You there you go, there you go when you're in
your guard.
Speaker 6 (04:52):
You know, if you know how to fight in your guard, man,
that that is one of the most roofless There you go.
Gallon is back and Denver is the team.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
So it's not weird when two guys are wrestling like
that and grabbing each other.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
That's right, that's right, that's right. It's not something else.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Yeah, that's right. It's it's not they lovers.
Speaker 6 (05:19):
No.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Anyway.
Speaker 6 (05:24):
And if they are, hey, that's that's your choice. That's
your call. But I'll say this, Denver is loving winning
and they're getting it on their back.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Like Jesus.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Jonas will fall this up.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
You know, I've just been watching the game last night.
I'm like, as somebody, as somebody who grew up as
somebody who grew up a Bears fan. I was watching
that game last night, going, huh, I've seen that before.
I know exactly what that feels like, dominating defense and they're.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
Even, oh, you're talking with ye you're too young for
for Mike and all.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Yeah, no it was, but there was a year I
can remember for them. I can remember early years being
a Bears fan. There was a year they had more
rushing yards and passing yards in a season. I remember
that being talked about on TV. And yeah, I mean
like Neil Anderson back in the day, Flordigator by the way.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
Jo isn't that old like he he's old enough to
remember the eighty five Bears?
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Nah? Yeah, yeah, I mean really it was forty four.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yeah, I was around old.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Enough. I'd be talking like, I'm way older than eighty one.
You don't remember, Yeah, you don't remember.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
I don't. I don't remember that. I just remember seeing
Bears teams where it's like they couldn't score and you
were just hoping defense and special teams were going to
make plays. And that's what Denver like, how we just
tried to make you older than you actually are. Oh,
I don't care, I mean.
Speaker 6 (06:58):
Forty four sounded old. I was like dang, I'm only
that a little bit older than it's geez, you old ass,
your old ass old.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
There's there's times where I forget Jonas is older than me.
Just from our conversations. I'm like, oh, all right, dang, yeah,
just kind.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
Of but you sound like you should be the older brother,
but you definitely sound like you're the younger brother. Like
it's it's funny you you have. You have an interesting dichotomy. Yeah,
it's like you have that that command did not feel
like how you owned Albert yesterday, Like you have an
old head command of your how you handle things. But
(07:35):
but you can tell by some of the things you're.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Saying, dude, that you're the younger one. Sure what it
is you obliterated yesterday?
Speaker 5 (07:48):
Peacock and around However, number one, I'm hold on a second, pal.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Albert, need to do uh, like, just go take a shower.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Afterwards that was Albert looked at check itself.
Speaker 5 (07:59):
Out walking in Peacocking like that, look, there's tempo football
playoff rankings.
Speaker 6 (08:05):
Then he looked at his seat. He had a straight
stain on his seat. After that call, right there, I
tell you what I felt.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
I felt.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
I felt like I was getting it. I was like,
god dang, but where did this come from? Hey man, No,
I don't want it at all. Like I'm just you know,
I'm just here for for the rat guys, you know,
and so is Denver. I tell you what, back.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
To my original point, if you know how.
Speaker 6 (08:33):
To win these ugly, ugly games, because it was an
ugly game, you got that right, Bronco's baby. And in
spite of poor quarterback play, in spite of limited offense production,
and that's putting it lightly limited offensive production, this is
(08:54):
a team that all they have to do is stick
to the script because again, like Sean Payton mentioned in
the interviews that he's done, they're learning how to win
games no matter what the odds and circumstances are. And
they've been very, very extreme on the other side of
they should like you've met you highlighted it yesterday, Q.
(09:17):
There were games, There's plenty of games that you could
look at and be like, they should have lost that game,
they should have lost it, but they didn't. They didn't
lose it. And now they're doing it consistently. And while
I'll agree with Sean Payton, get to a point of
where you don't have to win that way, get to
a point of where you're starting to win and it
doesn't have to come down to the wire, it doesn't
have to be so close. But nonetheless, getting that type
(09:41):
of experience as a team I can only imagine builds
a tremendous amount of confidence and belief in one another.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Like when do you ever feel like you're out of
a game? Never?
Speaker 6 (09:52):
So I think it's interesting to see a team like this.
While I'm not ready to crown them as like the team,
you got to give Sean Payton a whole lot of
credit because systems tend to struggle a little bit more
and generally don't have the type of success that you
(10:14):
had that you were able to create at at other places.
And while Sean Payton doesn't have a Drew Breese on
his hands, he's he's finding ways to win, and you
got to give him and his coaching staff a lot
of credit for that.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Okay, is it Sean Payton or Vance Joseph that deserves
some love because as.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
The head coach? Hey coach?
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Because here here's why I say that, and both Andrew
Whitworth brought up this point that I think people forget about.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
You.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Remember, I think it was last year when the Dolphins
scored seventy points on the second defense, and.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
It was year two years ago, two years ago.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
It might have been too. That might have been to.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
You, look at where this team's at now. Their defense
is made. I think it's the best defense in the league.
Like Gino, Smith had no time, He had no time
the entire night, and he.
Speaker 6 (11:01):
Ended up sitting down, yeah the night like like we're gonna,
we're gonna, we're.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Gonna wrap this up.
Speaker 6 (11:07):
You know, give me that doggie bag, give me that
to go bag, Like we're gonna leave.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
Uhah, we're leaving a restaurant.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
But you're your guy. Sean Payton did talk afterwards about
getting to eight wins the first.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Team in the Did he say.
Speaker 6 (11:23):
Are you comfortable with the scripts of just kind of
how these games those coaches?
Speaker 7 (11:28):
But there's no butts, So you're asking my comfortable as
a coach.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
We're never satisfied.
Speaker 7 (11:35):
If my answer were to you, I'm comfortable, that'd be silly, right,
So obviously we gotta we gotta, we gotta clean up
the penalties. We got to clean up some of the execution,
and and that is an ongoing thing that probably never ends.
There's you know, you, sir, you search for that shangri
la right now. You know, we're team sitting at eight wins.
(11:55):
I think, uh, we're the only team sitting there. So
and yet we're we're constantly looking internally starting you know,
but that was it was a tough night offensively obviously,
and and uh, you know, and I.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
Give them credit, you know they did they did.
Speaker 7 (12:11):
Some things differently that we hadn't seen.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
And you know, you.
Speaker 7 (12:14):
Start looking at your call sheet with your subplan, and
so we'll look at that tape and we'll warn from it.
Speaker 4 (12:20):
We always will.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Do you think, Uh, guys on offense are afraid to
look defensive players in the eyes after a game like that.
Speaker 6 (12:27):
Like, no, no, man, you win, that's all that matters.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
You win, you make, can correct the mistakes. You move on.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
Man, Can I get you a quick reminder?
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Yeah, the Raiders stank?
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 (12:44):
You you you pulled out. You pulled it out against
a funky team. That team stinks. And I know they
have familiarity. I know it's a divisional opponent, divisional rival rival,
but they stink like this team is bad. They're bad.
(13:04):
They're bad.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
Not the Bears. They're bad.
Speaker 6 (13:08):
That's what I'm going Let's just keep that in mind, Like,
let's keep it in a proper perspective. They didn't pull
out a ten to seven win over the Chiefs, you
know what I mean, Like, they didn't do that over.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
The Chargers, even though they did beat the Chargers. They
did beat the Chargers.
Speaker 6 (13:24):
Right, they're three and on the division, I think in
the division. Yeah, I mean they're number one in the
division and the Chiefs are number three. Can you imagine
we live in a world right now where Patrick Mahomes
and Andy Reid are third in their division. That is crazy.
But with that being said, let's keep it in whoa
(13:46):
they coming for it?
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Yeah, I mean the Chargers, they're coming four. Chargers are
too banged up, Like they'll make a run. Chargers are
too banged up.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
They can't.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Joe also out for the year.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
It's every game the Chargers lose a key piece, either
on the offensive line or elsewhere. Just it's every year,
every year this happens with them.
Speaker 6 (14:02):
So you know, they got to figure it out before
before it gets too late in the season. Like, it's
great to be able to win this way. It's great
to have that confidence but ten to seven, like, is
that sustainable? Like to me, that's the question. If I'm
Sean Payton, the question I'm asking myself is how sustainable
is the way we're winning?
Speaker 4 (14:23):
Is that sustainable? I don't know.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
Yeah, but they have one shootouts too. I mean this
this is just one again, short week divisional opponent. Like
they found a way to get it done.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
Yeah. I just I'm not going to read too much
into it.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
You know, I think when you have a poor offensive performance,
you look back through some of their other offensive performances
and you say, the offense, you know, hasn't always been
the issue.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Maybe slow starts.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
You know, they've been a fourth quarter team, second half team,
and that's something you want to address. You'd like to
just kick someone's teeth in right away and not have
to worry about it. But that's the NFL. Like, it's
it's not gonna work out that way. So again, I'm
I'm more impressed with their ability to find ways to
you know, to find resolve and win football games. It's
(15:06):
hard to do in the NFL. And I don't care
who they're playing against. I don't care if it's the Jets.
I don't care if it's name of your whoever you
feel like is the worst team in the NFL. Win's
a win, man, Win's a win, And I'll take that
any day of the week if I'm Denver, and we'll
see how it stacks.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Up at the end of the year.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
So you played obviously with the Broncos, Brady, and I'm
a weather geek, and al Michaels was pointing out that
the wind.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
Was So I played with the Broncos before.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Did you?
Speaker 3 (15:36):
Well?
Speaker 1 (15:36):
Okay, So all right, so let me.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
Ask I mean bang, I banged them boys, I mean bad,
like talk about violation.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
Ban them boys up?
Speaker 3 (15:47):
All right, King, let me go back.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
But no, I mean, I'm feeling frisky. I don't know, man,
it's that State college air man, I think.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Because I mean, if you played there, this is one
I'm wondering. So I'm trying to find, you know, some
sort of a logical explanation as to why they struggled
the way they did. Obviously, special teams weren't great really
on either side, especially for raiders. Well, the winds were swirling.
It looked like it was the first touch of fall
weather in Denver. So did that have any impact? And
(16:19):
does that have any impact on an offensive performance, and
is that any reason as to why maybe last n win.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Of course it could.
Speaker 5 (16:27):
I mean, I don't know that it played that big
of a role last night, but it definitely plays a
bit of a role in the passing game, kicking game,
you know, in different stadiums. That's not one that I
felt like was overly difficult because of the structure of it.
You go, like Cleveland to me was a tougher one.
If the wind got you know, you know, whipping around.
(16:48):
In Kansas City, that was tough because it was again
more of a bull and so you kind of had
to understand if you're throwing into the end zone out
of the end zone, which direction, and like.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
You know, that was that was more of an issue
with that. Uh, it just depends.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
The hardest stadiums are the ones to me that that
are bowls only because you've got multiple ways in which
you've got to change how you're kicking or throwing. Whereas
if it's if it's like a Cleveland for example, was
really only one way, Like it was one direction that
you had to worry about. You're either with or against
for the most part, and that kind of dictated how
(17:22):
things went. So I just I look at it and say,
I don't think when was as big of a factor
last night. I mean, it definitely plays a role, but
not not why their offensive performance was was poor. I
thought the Raiders had a good game plan, and you
take your head off, you give them credit.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Yeah, I think you said it depends.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
I thought he was a segue smooth.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
He just kept going though.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
I was like, no, I wanted to talk football.
Speaker 5 (17:46):
I didn't want to talk about but I will if
I have to, I will because depend on the prostate Cancer.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Get your butt checked out, Get that butt checked out.
Speaker 3 (18:10):

You know what I mean, We all can do it.
Make sure you got a healthy butt, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Check those LaVar wasn't even scheduled.
Speaker 6 (18:19):
To say what By the way, you know, I went
back for it for for a second time around because
I had to make sure that they they saw everything
they needed to see.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
That's how much I'm into.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
My long game of smoking sick. He walked out, all right, So.
Speaker 6 (18:36):
Hey, there was a good looking nurse up there. I
was sitting there like, oh my god, she's about to
see me with my ass out, Like what what?
Speaker 1 (18:44):
You gotta appreciate the cute ones.
Speaker 6 (18:47):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I'm like, but but I'm going
to be like vulnerable, like passed out vulnerable, Like they're
sitting there around my butt talking about Oh.
Speaker 8 (18:58):
Yeah, that's that's a good look to be the biggest
difference though, between like men and women, because I do
feel like there's more female nurses than than than male nurses.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
So like when women go in, you know, they're not
going to be like checking out the rest. They're probably
having a nice conversation. Men are always like, oh that's
a nice looking nurse.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
Hey, bruh.
Speaker 6 (19:18):
Don't you got to ask yourself the question when you
go to when you go to get that that checkout
in particular, do you want a man or do you
want a woman to do it?
Speaker 7 (19:27):
Like?
Speaker 4 (19:27):
Which one is it?
Speaker 6 (19:28):
Like, Like I'm sitting there like thinking to myself, I'm
having a conversation with my doctor about my butt.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
He's telling me how beautiful my film look. I'm like,
what what it was?
Speaker 3 (19:46):
It's getting their ticket.
Speaker 4 (19:47):
Look, everything looked amazing. Hey, you know check that.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
Out, Jonas. Let's see that beauty.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Hey, let's go get a drink later. Huh. Hey, I
have somewhere when.
Speaker 5 (19:58):
You go to East Lanson, man, moon you different there.
Like it's not just like they bend over. You see
the crack. They spread the cheeks.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
So it's it's like you do they cheeks. Yeah, that's
a nasty Philly y'all.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Are a nasty man, bru.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
That is taking it up a notch.
Speaker 5 (20:16):
Yeah, you don't need to do I don't need to
see anything other than the crack if you're going to
moon me, all right. I just remember from the playing
days many there are some nasty people there in East Lancing.
Speaker 6 (20:26):
Talking about ust slanting the gobblers out there that day. Boy,
I tell you that, like dude talk about spride what.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
So I I did want to mention this obviously on
the subject of football, that Yeah, there's a Friday and
you know what that means.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
Friday spread these cheeks.
Speaker 9 (21:02):
Spread cheese, prid spread cheese, little.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
Okay, let's do it for Eddie. Let's do it for Eddie.
There we go.
Speaker 9 (21:44):
It's good.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
If he's gone, it's gone.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Oh wow, Hey, Brady, got your wish? The old one
is gone? Yes, how you mean to give that to you?
Speaker 4 (21:58):
It sure would have been.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Gotten a spot on my it's somewhere that's just not where.
It's so nice to be.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
Well, thanks, yeah, any time.

Speaker 9 (23:34):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
And the mall and the mall.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Do it all?
Speaker 6 (23:45):
Oh yeah yeah, okay, loreta out the what b out
the health of frame?
Speaker 3 (23:58):
I'm bed breaking?
Speaker 6 (24:01):
QB sounded like me with my words sometimes, man, y'all
can't be sounded like you can't be stealing my swag.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Man of the frame?
Speaker 4 (24:10):
You know what I is that a record of me?
Speaker 1 (24:12):
You know, even when I'm not working, I'll catch myself
sometimes almost about to go damn, damn, and it's like
it's like, and my son could say something, I'm about
to go damn, But I realized I'm not. I'm not
on the air of LeVar who kind of caused all that.
So I can't you know, catchy man, you're a real trendsetter.
Speaker 4 (24:31):
Man.
Speaker 6 (24:32):
Well, we got one on your on your the X
that just hates it. He hates the way or her,
whoever it is, they can't stand that. I dang it,
But I love dang, dang. It's so relevant. I mean,
we probably are so relevant.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
Honest, but.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Well I know this. It is two pros and a
cup of joe here radio for me?
Speaker 4 (24:55):
What did I do?
Speaker 7 (24:58):
It?
Speaker 4 (24:58):
A little bit too much self awareness? Brady's judge. Brady's declined, Okay,
there you go, moving on.
Speaker 6 (25:07):
Yeah, first down, first out, Yeah, I go, there you go,
new set it down, go all.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Right, So we will get into somebody, We'll get into
somebody's alter ego coming up here is brand building covering
up here in just a couple of moments from now.
But right now, it is time for the tire rack.
Speaker 6 (25:26):
Play of the day, empty set three to the right
to the left, Nicks drops back, throws a ball to
the end zone.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
The passes taught and that is a Denver touchdown.
Speaker 6 (25:36):
Troy Franklin with the catch at the gold line and
he had Eric Stokes on his back.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Man, oh man, what a play.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
It was.
Speaker 1 (25:44):

(26:06):
We're going to get into coming up here in about
fifteen minutes from now. But if anybody wonders how JJ
McCarthy's feeling after three career starts, don't you worry. He's
already building his brand. Let's take a listen.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
I feel like I do.
Speaker 10 (26:20):
Yeah, there's definitely a level of a switch that gets flipped,
you know. For me, it's you know that I call
him nine nine comes out and I gotta understand, like, okay,
he can't be at his peak performance throughout three and
a half hours. So how do I find little ways,
you know, on the sideline, you know, get back to
(26:42):
my breath, get back to my visualization that could kind
of maintain that intense, you know, competitive stamina throughout the
whole game. But yeah, it's just you know, the pure
will determination to get the job done.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, all right.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
I mean, can we just calm down? The guy started
three games?
Speaker 5 (27:00):
We focus on football and not do this whole like
we need to have an alter ego and referred third
person about nine.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
I just I'm like, what are we doing here?
Speaker 5 (27:11):
I mean, seriously, can we just focus on just playing
another good game of football and let's get to another
point before we start referred to our alter ego is nine.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
I don't, I don't.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
What is it with these kids nowadays?
Speaker 5 (27:24):
You know, it's like and it's society too, Like one
good thing happens and they're like, oh, that's a trend
that let's just run with that. It's like, all right,
that's it. It's called a flash in the pan. That
was the old phrase people used to use. That's the
last thing you want to be. You want to be
sustaining if you can't pants pan p an flashing the pot.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
It was flashing the pants.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
I think flashing the pants is illegal. I think you
get arrested. Or maybe that's something that Lorena does with
her boyfriends.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
I don't know, plural.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
He did say he did?
Speaker 2 (28:02):
He did?
Speaker 4 (28:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
I don't know what her personal situation is.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
I kind of like it. You want to know why.
You want to know why. I like alter egos that
because I have one.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Tell the mammals I have one.
Speaker 6 (28:17):
And and you know what, when I do my daily affirmations,
my alter ego stare me in the mirror.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
Oh yeah, I do my affirmations.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Man, wait, like like the Dude and Lady Bugs?
Speaker 4 (28:29):
Did you not watch in Selling Sunset? Did you not
see me on selling Sunset?
Speaker 3 (28:34):
You go? Are you serious?
Speaker 6 (28:36):
Well? When I was I was house I was house hunting,
and and I did. I did an affirmations on Selling
Sunset with Brie, one of the realtors.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
You got balk to yourself. Huh, Bree Miro the producer here, No,
not Bree, our producer. Breathe breathe you.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
Like Rodney Dangerfield and Ladybugs. I'm great, I'm wonderful. Everbody
likes me?
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Is that what you do?
Speaker 6 (29:01):
I mean, it's a it's a great pool. Because Rodney
Dangerfield is one of my heroes. You know, I've patterned
and modeled some of my you know, the way I
do some of my sticks sometimes, you know, I kind
of do it a little bit like kind of like
Rodney Dangerfield, Like, hey, man, I do all these things.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
I get no respect, you know what I mean, Like.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Look at the yard here, looks like the trees threw up.
Speaker 6 (29:20):
I mean, think about it. I do this show with
Jonas and Brady, you know. I mean I sit there
and I do my dank and they don't like my dang.
They said, I do it do much like huh. I
get no respect. You know, I get absolutely no respect.
But it's okay. Go like me a cigarette. I'll go
smoke a jack and I'll go walk away.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
You give yourself anyway.
Speaker 8 (29:39):
I do.
Speaker 6 (29:40):
I do it in the morning land because you know why,
because can only person, well, it's the only person that
won't lie to you, like it's the only like when
I look at that person that you.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
Are a lot of yourself and the man no, hell no,
how can you.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
Lie to yourself?
Speaker 6 (29:57):
It's the only person that knows the one hundred percent,
one hundred percent, raw, uncut truth, Like nobody else knows
more than that person that's looking back at you in
that mirror.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
No, it's not true.
Speaker 5 (30:10):
But like if you say something and then you go
out and you do the opposite of that, that would
be hypocritical.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
Would you be lying to yourself?
Speaker 7 (30:16):
That?
Speaker 6 (30:17):
I mean, that would be the worst type of habitual liar.
That would be the worst type of person because you've
actually convinced somebody that knows the truth that well you
haven't convinced them, but you're trying to convince them.
Speaker 4 (30:30):
And that's bad for you. It's bad for you if
you lie to yourself. Yeah, you can't. You can't you Hey,
it's bad for you. You can't you you cannot lie
to yourself. So I get in the mirror.
Speaker 6 (30:44):
I get in the mirror, and I say, man, get up,
like you gotta do it, like, come on, man, like
let's get cleaned up, let's let's get it right. Is
just the look you like today? I don't know if
I like this look today, but all right, well shave
it off. All right, Well I'm gonna shave it off,
you know.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
Line it up. All right, I'm gona line it up now.
You need to go to a barber. All right.
Speaker 6 (31:00):
We start with like kind of the looks and stuff
like that, but then it's like you gotta get out
here and you gotta do it.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
It's got to be.
Speaker 6 (31:07):
Gotten because it ain't gonna get itself, and you're the
one to do it. Like the dude in the mirror
starts pointing at me, the alter ego like JJ McCarthy
was talking about, the man in the mirror is pointing
at you saying it's you, bro.
Speaker 4 (31:22):
It's you who's got to get it done. You.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
You're also pointing to yourself, right, Yeah, that's correct.
Speaker 6 (31:29):
That's the that's the beauty of it all. It's like
your mirror imaging like your your energy. Like you may
be having a down day. You may you may wake
up on the wrong side of the bed. You may
be upset, you may be sad, you may be frustrated.
Speaker 5 (31:45):
It's or is that just self talk where you're pumping
yourself up, like, because I feel like it's like, were
you turning on you a completely different person?
Speaker 4 (31:55):
Yeah, it is.
Speaker 6 (31:56):
It is a different person, but that different person you
can't you can I can see my different person in
the mirror, right, I could see my different person.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
I look in the mirror, I just see a piece
of crap trying to screw an app.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
All right, that's your alter ego. You wouldn't like me
when I'm angry, dang, so you like the incredible Hulk. No,
I've not.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
I don't. I don't recall ever looking in the mirror
and saying nice things to myself to get the day,
really get you.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
It's kind of reflected in how you do things. Man.
Speaker 6 (32:28):
You know, I don't know what to tell you. Jonas,
I don't. That's kind of passive aggressive too.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
What is.
Speaker 6 (32:37):
You're You're you're passively throwing out like I'm put myself
down so that other people will give you compliments, tell
you you're like you're the nine Jonas and all that stuff.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
You're the man Jonas Brady you know me ten years?
Speaker 11 (32:52):
Is that me?
Speaker 4 (32:54):
Am? I one of these?
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Hey look at me?
Speaker 4 (32:55):
Everybody that's passive aggressive? Now you're looking for you, now
you're looking for support.
Speaker 5 (33:00):
I would say, you too, are a nice ying and
yang because like it's very it's very different in that
respect because my encounters with Jonas is Jonas would rather
stand in a corner and not talk to anyone and
just correct observe LeVar, LeVar, rather talk to everyone like
you'd rather impact like everyone, or you know, touch everyone,
you know, talk to everyone.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Very different. You guys are like polar opposites that but can't.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
I don't even think vampires.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Like switches up what he wears.
Speaker 5 (33:26):
Jonas is always going to be in black like he
you know, the same leather jacket and the ross stressful
West jeans forever.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
No see he wears the sweatpants for radio. He wears.
There's a certain pair of jeans he only wears when
he goes out.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
I have never seen Jonas and jeans. Correct shout out and.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
The white soul bottom.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
It's actually it's a Canadian jeans company called Buffalo David Bitten.
You can find him in the Macy's loss, all of
them in Code factory. They're really comfortable, they're fantastic. Yeah
that's me.
Speaker 3 (34:05):
You you went so deep into that when you didn't
need to. I want to give that might be fine
worthy house, fine worthy.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Because I'm giving a shout out to a jeans company.
Speaker 5 (34:15):
Yeah, well, I can't talk about your discount clothing bs
like you stop with that.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
Come on, judge, Hey, I wore the I wore the
what are they called the air Jordan's that LeVar got
me for the first time. You last Friday?
Speaker 4 (34:30):
Where'd you go to church dinner?
Speaker 3 (34:34):
He went out? Yeah, wow, really good for you guys?
Speaker 4 (34:38):
What color ared ag again? I forget them?
Speaker 1 (34:40):
Black and white?
Speaker 3 (34:41):
You think?
Speaker 5 (34:42):
I wish I wish Jonahs would talk more about some
of it's, like, you know, adventures in his personal life,
because you know, we'd find commonalities. Like I always like
when I travel, I realized, like most people are just
really really rude, Like it's just the way people travel
and conduct themselves. I could go on forever about it,
but there's never a greater like time where you go.
(35:06):
I think about it, Like most people get in like
car riage incidents on the highway, right, they can cut each.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Other off, they get upset. It's like the same way
walking in an airport.
Speaker 5 (35:15):
You know people that get upset with like someone's racing
body go catch a flight where I'm I'm kind of
like I'm a faster walker. But usually if someone flies
by bumps, but I'm like, all right, they got somewhere
to go. You know, they're not just like trying to
bump me.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
You know, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (35:30):
It's it's a really weird thing. When you travel, you
see all sorts of different there types of.
Speaker 6 (35:34):
People, especially especially when you're getting off of the plane.
Oh there goes theirs, especially when you're getting off of
the plane.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
Are you at the same B and B? Are you
the same one?
Speaker 4 (35:47):
Absolutely? For a while. I'm gonna move to a hotel.
Do that dishes today?
Speaker 3 (35:57):
Yeah, you better get in that work.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
Why y'all sweating me? Man?
Speaker 3 (36:04):
What do you mean you need to make sure he's clean?
Otherwise you're not getting a deposit.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
We were, we were getting off the plane yesterday.
Speaker 6 (36:13):
And by the way, with this whole kiss the ground,
I didn't fly into state College. But I do that
every every time, every time. No, not Harrisburg State College,
Stay College. No, because I flew into Harrisburg. But yeah,
I know, Hey, I'm sorry it didn't you know, the
(36:34):
ground didn't get blocked.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
I still need a video of this. I've never seen
the video of this.
Speaker 6 (36:38):
We're gonna have to do it. We're gonna have to
do it. So, yeah, you ain't lying. We've got four
left and it's a raight.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
I can't bring how fast the season's going.
Speaker 4 (36:50):
It's going crazy fast.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
It's just weird.
Speaker 6 (36:52):
It's going crazy fast. I don't know it's my story relevant, No,
I don't even know. All I was going to say
is we were getting off there. Oh here's a person
walking there dog with the deer. So people are like, oh,
you know, you know, the whole rush I got. I
got four minutes. I got four minutes to get off
to get to my flight. I gotta catch my flight.
I gotta catch my flight. Right, So we're letting people go.
(37:14):
We're letting people go, and it's like more and more
people are like pushing and pushing through, right, and then
there there is one person in particular that really really
hit it in a very very rude manner, right, And
I was like, it's cool, like, you know, you got
to get to where you're going, Like I'm not, like
I got time to get to where I'm going, Like,
you know, we're letting people go. So the worst part
(37:35):
about when you see people do that and then you
get into the terminal and then you see them at
like at the pretzel stand or.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
At at the fast food.
Speaker 6 (37:48):
Like what like, weren't you just saying you had a
rush to get to your like you had five minutes.
Speaker 4 (37:56):
Bro.
Speaker 6 (38:00):
Then it makes me like it almost messes it up
for the people next time because I'm on something like
next time, I'm like, nah, man, you don't like we
paid for where we're sitting on the plane, Like you
freaking wait, you got to like, you know what's crazy?
You gotta wait to get on. Why you're gonna let
somebody rush to get off? Think about it, Like, you
(38:21):
gotta board by group unless it's southwest, right right up,
unless it's southwest until that changes, you.
Speaker 4 (38:28):
Gotta wait to get on. You gotta wait to get on.
That's right in here.
Speaker 6 (38:34):
And they always say they always make it unless it's
a small plane. Small planes are the only time they'll
say they're gonna board from the back to the front.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
That's the only time.
Speaker 6 (38:44):
Otherwise you're getting on by your group, and your group
is generally super high. Like if you're in group eight,
group nine, you're in the back of the plane all
right now. I don't have no judgment on where you
sit on the plane. That's your ticket, that's your business,
you bought it, that's on you. So if you're sitting
in the back of the plane. Then you know what,
just like you're the last ones to get onto the plane,
(39:07):
you're gonna be the last ones to get off of it.
That is just what it is like, So understand that.
Like and if you're going to miss your flight, you're
going to miss your flight. Get another flight.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
Some people, some people get real spicy about it though.
That's a problem.
Speaker 6 (39:20):
Oh man, I'm gonna miss my flight. And then you
see them standing outside in the terminal. I was like, oh, man,
like did I just started noticing that? I noticed it yesterday.
I ain't gonna ask the first time I noticed it
where I was like, hey, that person like was pushing through.
That person pushed through to get off of the plane. Yeah,
it's kind of crazy, man. But anyways, I know this
(39:43):
when you're when you're on those planes, you know you're
gonna want to make sure that you bring your portable
hot sauce with you. You know, I throw that out
on my meals when I'm on the plane, and it's
the original Louisiana hot sauce. So make sure you get it.
Put it on your tailgate food, put it on all
your food. It's got that bowl handcrafted flavor. Make sure
you get you some Louisiana hot bag.
Speaker 7 (40:03):
You some.
Speaker 1 (40:04):

Burs Oh my god, so you guys probably missed it

Speaker 3 (41:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (41:26):
The defending.
Speaker 11 (41:28):
College basketball national champion Florida Gators got their first win
of the season against North Florida. The reason why this
is significant is because Oliver Reu checked into the game
and played two minutes, breaking a record. He became the
tallest player to ever play in college basketball. He is
(41:48):
seven foot nine. When he was twelve years old, he
was six ten. This guy's gigantic.
Speaker 6 (41:55):
He's almost eight foot tall. Is that considered a giant?
Are you a giant?
Speaker 3 (42:01):
I think you would be the one to.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
Declare that he doesn't look like he has any giantism
though he's got the.
Speaker 4 (42:07):
Why would I be the one to declare that. I
don't know what.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
I don't know. I just feel like you've got a
good feel for this sort of thing.
Speaker 4 (42:13):
Yeah, he doesn't look like he was He tried podding
like was he like the court? Good?
Speaker 1 (42:25):
It's too late to does that even mean good?
Speaker 4 (42:30):
Good? Go to break
