Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knocks. Coming up on this
Monday edition, we're going to have wall to wall coverage
of the National Football League and there's a UFC implication
all of a sudden and what could have been for
an a f C contender. We'll get into all that
for you here. Lee de lap is back. We've got
stories from his bizarre trip to Europe. It's gonna try
(00:23):
and make sense of all of it, and we're still
confused by it. We'll get into that as well too.
It's another edition of In case you missed it. We
also got the b Q News and it's a usual Shenanigans.
It's yours coming up next year. Two pros and a
cup of Joe on a Monday, Fox Sports Radio. You're
listening to Fox Sports Radio. Yeah, two pros and a
(00:45):
cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio. Brady, come on, it's
best get him, get him a happy Monday. But my friend,
(01:11):
I'm the prettiest man to do radio. Come on, Jonas,
don't don't do it. Come on my sitting here. Let's
say you gotta mock up by intro do a show
respect to yours mine ten dollars. Come on, who knows?
Who cares? Sounded really interpret? There's a lot going on here.
(01:34):
We are by the way. We are happy. I lead
to lap Is back our executive. Yea, his hair looks longer,
he looks happy. He's been gone for three months, but
Lee is final that. Yeah, came back from the mountains
of Nigeria. Back from the mountain. He came back from
Sharon getting deep deep Ye Nigerian mountains, mountains, cheery, racist,
(02:06):
But we are going to take you all the way
at altitude you know. Uh, we are going to take
you to nine am Eastern type six o'clock Pacific. Thanks
for hanging. I was here on the I Heart radio
app but on hundreds of affiliates it was gonna be
(02:28):
a wild one here on a Monday. Um, all right,
who wants to start off with a fun little what
could have been story? They came out of nowhere when
nobody was expecting it from a busy weekend in the
world of football. You guys ready for this. At UFC
two seventy eight, Dana White, the president of the UFC,
was taking part in something called a grondcast. Now if
(02:50):
you can guess it. It is starring Rob Gronkowski. Yeah,
I believe it or not. And I don't know. I
don't know who else was there because the screen was
so small, I couldn't tell it qualifies. And and all
of a sudden, Rob Gronkowski brings up this, you know,
(03:10):
potential scenario that could have played out. And I don't
think Dana White was expecting to have to talk about
this with an actual audience there, and and this is
how it played out on Saturday night. I worked to
put that deal together for Brady and Gronk to come
to the Raiders, and it was almost a done deal,
(03:33):
and at the last minute Gruden blew the deal up
and said that he didn't want them, and all help
broke loose. Man, it was crazy and and and Brady
was already looking at houses and it wasn't being said
yet that Gronk was coming. So Las Vegas would have
had Brady and Gronk the year that the Bucks won
(03:54):
the Super Bowl, except Gruden blew the deal up and
were going to tell that story until just said it, Yeah,
there's that. He doubled down on it. Well, Gruden day
want it. Gruden killed the deal, that that deal would
have been killed that or you know, the the irony
(04:15):
and all of it is, it would have worked out
where Josh ry Daniel said comes and eventually takes over.
Tom Brady is very familiar with mich Lombardi like confirmed
that that's true. Story. Well, I came out and it
came out and like tweeted about it. I mean, gron
(04:36):
confirmed it too. He said, hey, man, this was the deal. Yeah,
I totally biden. If you go back and think about
the Raiders were a team that was talked about as
a potential landing spot for Brady at the time. What
does that mean for for car and and how amazing
would that have been for ticket sales? Oh god, and
(04:58):
and just the amount of attention and on that team.
Hold on a second. I mean, in the end, John
Gruden did pick Derek Carr, Yes, he did. Like that's
that's got to be kind of like, hey, like this guy, obviously,
if you're gonna pick me over the greatest quarterback to
ever do it, I don't know, man, that's that's like
(05:18):
picking you know, picking you over Jordans for someone else.
I think that's that that's a pretty big statement right there,
that is big. Why do you think John Gruden acts
to the deal. Why do you think he did it?
Because he wanted to be the biggest name in Oakland.
That's what I think, and that's why I got rid
of Khalil Matt. It was more manageable to have just
Car because Car isn't like the big, big personality type
(05:41):
of dude. I think Gruden wanted to be the star,
and I think he wanted to be the focal point
of the Raiders and Brady being there, Gronk being there,
all of a sudden, that's gone. They're the stars. I
could have seen it being Tom talking of about out
and saying look, because they run two completely different offenses.
(06:04):
And I remember this happened during when Peyton Manning became
a free agent and there's the Payton sweep stakes. There
were some places who were like, hey, pay we want
you to recome around our system, right like they didn't
want everyone else to have to learn payton system. They
want to Payton to learn their system. One guy, you
know their system, instead of everyone else on the roster
(06:26):
and on the coaching staff learn his system. The Denver
Broncos said to Peyton, hey you wanna come here, we'll
do whatever you want, Like, we'll do whatever you want,
We'll run your system, we'll all learn it, we'll figure
it out from there. And and that's how they that's
one of the reasons how they got them, because it's
such a difficult thing to do at that point in
your career to learn a new system. And I can
(06:48):
promise you Tom Brady wasn't gonna sit there and say
I'm not gonna learn the entire West Coast offense that
the way John Gruden called it, which is the old
school way, the Marty Morning way, Marty warning away, which
was like a two centence long play call. He wasn't
gonna do it. And I can guarantee he sat back
and goes, yeah, like this isn't, this isn't. This is
(07:09):
what I'm gonna do at this point. You're either gonna
take me and my and what I'm gonna run and
what I'm gonna bring, or you can go find someone else.
I bet that was one of the things they talked about,
because it was talked a lot about in Tampa two
that they were going to run a you know, Bruce
Arians system all stuff. Guess what, at the end of
the day, end up being a lot of concepts that
Tom Brady was most familiar with, and how they ended
(07:29):
up calling that. That's why Byron Leftwitch and Tom kind
of worked well together at b A and Tom didn't
because it ended up being Tom system when it was
all said and done. I think that played more of
a role than people realize. Also, this was that kind
of brings up the speculation. Everyone wondered who Brady was
talking about when he was appearing on the shop. Was
this last offseason I think, or was it earlier this
(07:52):
offseason when so he was on the shop and was
talking and I remember that one of them and a
lot of people thought a lot of people thought that
he was like posturing though right, I believe when he
said it, I thought he was talking about a different quarterback.
And we actually remember jonas I laid out an entire
(08:13):
entire like like sheet of like reasons why it was
another quarterback. But we'll get to that a second. Here
was Brady on the shop one of the teams, and
they weren't interested. At the very end, I was thinking,
you're sticking so were there was There was a lot
of about who it was going to be. I don't
(08:34):
do the with Oakland play Tampa. I don't think they
do that. Needs to schedule this, no, I mean, yeah, yeah,
that's vague. They need to schedule that. They need to
like flex it out and replace that with with them
playing one another. The need to make that happen absolutely,
I mean one week prior to uh, the return in Cleveland,
(08:56):
just swap teams. Hey, we don't like this matchup. D
Yeah said oh yeah, grudge match. I mean, look all
to me, all of it checks out like data. White
even doubled down. He was asked about it after the
press conference and they were and he didn't want to
talk about it, like this was something that Gron brought
up for some reason. Here was White afterwards. It's true
(09:18):
and I thought that I would never tell that story publicly,
But what the hell Gron was doing that he brought up?
But it would have been amazing for the city, and
it would have been amazing for the Raiders, I mean
the first year there, they got the Brady and grown. Yeah,
Davis real happy to hear the story. Yeah, So that
was something that I don't think anybody thought was going
(09:39):
to get out. But you know, when when you think
back to it, it makes a ton of sense. I've
seen some people try and shoot it down and say no, no, no,
this is uh Dana White's just talking out of his ass.
He doesn't. It's like, dude, Gron confirmed it. Uh You
when you go back and think about everything that was
playing out at that time, they were a serious content
(10:00):
or in a threat to be able to land Tom Brady,
and it would have made a ton of sense in
the world. I think we even talked about it. I
think when we were having conversations Brady back then, talking
about well, there's some things that do make sense about
why the why the Raiders would be a potential landing
spot because nobody was sure whether or not John Gruden
bought into Derek Carr. There was always speculation that maybe
he was going to make a move at quarterback and
(10:21):
go in another direction, just like he did if you
mentioned with Kalo Mack and it just so to me,
I think a lot of this does check out. I
just I wonder if it all was because of ego
or whatever happened when it came to Gruden wanting to
act the deal, and I'm surprised that Mark Davis would
let him just whack the deal like that and say no, no, no, no, no,
(10:43):
you have full control here, all right, you do whatever
you need to do. If I'm Mark Davis, if I
could deliver Tom Brady, especially in a pandemic here, I mean,
come on, man, like, like, who's not who's not signed
enough for that? To me, that would make all the
sense in the world. But here we are. Derek Carr
got a new deal and now the rest is history.
So you can't say it's about money, because I think
(11:03):
Tom Brady when he first signed, they kind of signed
that like old man's deal where him and Drew Brees
were both getting paid like twenty five million a year,
like that was about going great. Well no, like okay,
I mean I'm not being agist right now. I'm just
telling you what it was like when when Drew Brees
and Tom Brady were looking at the side extensions, it
was like everyone's like, god, they're so old, like, but
(11:24):
what do we I mean, they're so good there, Hall
of famers, what do we do? And they're like, well,
you never know. I mean they could twist an ankle
walking down the sidewalk at the point, So let's just
each to give him twenty five million a year. That
was like the going rate. It was like they were
both were together going back and forth, you know, beating
each other in the old time passing record and the
regular season, and and they're like, yeah, well this guy's
getting paid, this guy's getting paid twenty. I was like,
(11:46):
kind of it, um, I mean, it couldn't have been money.
It couldn't have been because it wasn't that. I mean,
Tom Brady has been making that much money there, or
at least wasn't initially in Tampa. You know, it wasn't
really until this most recent deal where he started making
a little bit more. But I just think the interesting
thing is the fact that you know, this was actually
(12:07):
a possibility, for whatever reason, they chose not to. I
thought it was Tennessee. That was Tea. That would have
been easy. That's an easy one, you know, if you're
comparing Tanna hit Tannehill to connection. Yeah, I think we
brought that up to you remember remember his last game
in New England, what it ended with Tennessee. And so
(12:31):
I was like, okay, like he's still bitter about it,
like he played against him during his time, and I
thought it was Tannehill for sure, and then now this
comes out I was like, whoops, who let me fix that?
Brady at a hole at a whole board with like
the red string tied to another picture and aware of
(12:52):
yeah it was. I mean like yours was more fun
because Prable the tan Hill stuff, losing his final game.
You know why. It makes more sense for tax purposes
playing in Tennessee. Financially, everything was covered, the entire break down,
No Stone on turn LaVar. It got to the point
where I was like, my wife's like, what's wrong with you?
(13:13):
I was like, I don't know. I can't stop. I
was staying late at night trying to the numbers, had
an obsession with finding out who it was. Man, Well listen,
well now we know. Yeah, sometimes you don't never get
the answer. This came out of nowhere. We got the answer.
Now we know you did. You better play your ass
off the rest of the way because Tom ready said
(13:33):
this epping guy, you chose to keeping What's what means
that after this year Tom wanted to keep playing. We
don't know what's you know why he's gone, but he's
supposed to becoming He doesn't Joy McDaniel, Yes, that's what
I'm saying. Um, I just I love how data. White
was just like, you're really bringing this up, like we're
really going you're really doing it, really do this sitting
(13:55):
there with that big smell and laugh on his face. Yeah, yeah,
we are. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know if realized. You know,
Tom still is playing, by the way, so as if
he's not gonna be asked a ton of questions, I'm
sure this is gonna be one of the first ones
the media finally gets their hands on him when he
returns from the abduction. He's on right now. So so
there's that. By the way, we'll have more on that
(14:17):
story coming up later all throughout of the show. Yeah,
the abduction. Yeah, so uh it is two pros. Dick
up with Joe, brought to you by Discovery. We can
talk about how complicated other banks make it to redeem
credit card rewards, or we can talk about how Discover
you can redeem your rewards or cash in any amount
of any time. I mean talk about amazing learn more
discover dot com slash redeemed rewards terms apply. All right,
(14:38):
So we got the usuals coming up later on. We
got another edition of Vacacia missed it. We've got the
fs R I R, the B Q News. All of
it is yours. It's a three hour extravaganza on a
Monday here on fs are. Coming up next though, um
it's about that time. It is about that time, and
somebody should be very, very concerned about their starting position
in the NFL. Will get into that for you right
(15:00):
here on fs ARE. Be sure to catch live editions
of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn,
LaVar Arrington and Jonas knocks week days at six am
Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the

Joe Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks
with you here on FS. Are you canna hang out
(15:22):
with us? As always on the I Heart Radio app.
Coming up later on this hour, it's another edition of
In case you missed it, and apparently somebody was thought
to be cheating, maybe cheating in the world of football,
so we'll have that for you here in about Yeah
well listen, I mean yeah, I mean, there's there's that too.
(15:43):
Although you know, beat some of the behavior at the
Oakland A's game yesterday, I'll say that, what does that
mean if anybody saw that video people actually at the game. Yeah,
sitting pretty high up there. There were two people. Yeah,
that's about fighting the fight. That's a capacity crowd there
at open and uh, well you know at some open
(16:06):
mic night apparently just at luck going on when when
nobody's around or they think nobody's around. So there's that.
There's a lot a lot of things out there that
you could, uh you canter the weekend. Um uh's open.
Hey listen, man, we're two preseason games in. The Kenny
(16:28):
p Show continues to rage on Kenny, come on, man, listen.
I feel bad for Mitch Drobisky. I like Mitch Drobisky.
He got a raw deal in Chicago, but but now
he has found himself in the same spot he was
in when Mike Glennon was signed and then they drafted
him in the first round while Mike Glennon was at
a Bears draft watch party and had no idea to
(16:51):
pick was coming. Well, now Mitch dr Bisky's in Pittsburgh
trying to hold onto the starting job and Kenny Pickett
comes in and he is slinging it stick slinging it.
I like it. Come on, hey, listen, I like it.
And if it plays out that way and they're comfortable
enough to to give the keys to the car to him,
then more power to them and more power to to
(17:12):
the organization if they feel as though, you know he's
he's ready to come in and do it. I still
subscribe to the fact that I don't believe that that
he will win the starting job in preseason games, but
that's not to say that that can happen. I still
am leaning on my reasoning of bring him along, make
(17:36):
sure his understanding is there, and if Rabinsky can get
them into the season and get them comfortably going, then
that's who you go with. And if he's not that guy,
then you go with pickt and and at least coming
out of the preseason, you know that he has the
ability to compete at a high level um at the
(18:00):
the pro level. Now, which starters in regular season? Will
that translate? I don't know. You know, it's hard to tell,
hard to say, but I mean, to put himself into
conversation at this point in the season, I think is
is commendable. I mean, I'll say this much. The throw
that did it for me was the one over the
middle of the tight end. I think it was to
(18:20):
friar youth, but he had pressure on his face. It
took a little bit of everything of what you need
at the NFL level. He's got to stand in there,
take a hit. He delivered the ball early, it was
it was really before the tide. Dn't even like made
his stick to go vertical, and then he got the
ball out with a little bit of arc and pace.
It was perfect. And it's one of those types of
(18:42):
throws you watch it go okay, like he's ready at
least to this point. You know, whatever tests you want
to say you give him or whatever, you know, whatever
you need to see as a coaching staff to go
check like like he's got that down, he's got that
feel ford, he's he's seeing the field well, Like that's
to those checks to me where you feel like you
can almost start to get a sense of if you
(19:03):
can move forward with him because of that type of
throw and play. So I'm you know, I'm kind of
with you, Lavor in the sense of I don't know
that it changes anything as far as it's starting week one,
but it's sure as heck puts a lot of pressure
of Drabinsky for him, you know, and if he's gonna
start a week two because if he doesn't play well
week one, and and I've witnessed hi man, Like I
remember my rookie season. We we we had a you
(19:26):
know it was you know, Derrick Anderson and Charlie Fry
who were battling for our starting job heading into week one,
and they benched Charlie after half. I mean that entire offseason,
all those reps, all that time, half of football he
was benched. And it was Derreck Anderson that week two.
Like I remember thinking to myself, all those quarterback workouts
(19:48):
before O t s and minicamp even began, even before
training camp, and then you're just gonna trade the dude
after like benched after one half of that's it. I
was like, my god, there's no loyalty in this league.
And so that's that's what it does, is it really
builds up I think the fans and the pressure for Trabisky,
(20:08):
which at one point in the game he had he
had like a gift worthy uh play he was gonna
scrambled around and he was just trying to make a play.
He almost threw a pick on the sideline. But that's
the thing when you're up again, when you're when you're
feeling pressure, you you do a lot of you do
push to make it work because you watch him scramble
(20:31):
like that, and it was like the out. It was
like the Eli Manning play on steroids, because he like
spun around two or three times to get away and
then he throws that ball. It's like that's a double
coverage sideline and it looked like I was about to
get picked off. I just by the way on the
Charlie Fry wasn't he the team captain that week too?
(20:54):
So he was team captain week one, gets benched at
halftime and then traded in the next week, week one
of the season. That's uh, I see a lot of
stuff and you're you're brownie, what happened to join the club?
(21:17):
Washington joined the club? We could start our own group,
you know, like uh, the scrunt old players and fans
and coaches and everybody else included club and it would
be jam packed. Start giving the real stories away. Here's
really why this dude missed the game. That s would
be jam packed. Oh some of the stories that like that,
(21:40):
come on, man, you guys getting cut after a week
in their team captain? Oh man, I've seen some wild
I've seen. I'm with Brady on this one. I've seen
some wild es go down in that building, some wild s.
Bro I'm gonna leave it alone. No, No, he's trying
to He's trying to get us, like Groncott Dana White,
(22:03):
come on, trying to get us. Yeah, No, I'm not
gonna do it. What wild stuff? What are we talking
about here? Yeah? What do you mean? Was it like?
Was it like any given Sunday somebody released like a
Komodo dragon in the shower or something. Man, you know,
I ain't gonna do it. No, I was gonna give
like a little little precursor. We'll get it out of
(22:24):
you for the end of the show. I really was
ready to be bold and and brave about like just
saying one word in particular. But I'm not going to
do it. Why, come on, you gotta do the audience now,
come on, people are listening. They want to know. It
involved a word that rhymes with propane. And that's as
(22:45):
far as I'll go. Huh. I love Coca cola. There
you go, there you okay, there you go, a little
Booker sugar, there you go. Alright. I didn't say anything
to say Jonas had to say, did Yeah, I'm talking
about a nice I'm just saying there's some pretty there's
something pretty interesting. Brady was talking about pop. I mean
(23:08):
that's where I come Where I come from, we call
pop guy again, that's just that you know Midwestern. Well,
we've changed to soda because we've made it in life
and we don't live in places where they call it pop.
They call it soda by then, So there was, Yeah,
there was some of that soda flying. I don't say
pop anymore though, I can't remember. Like this is like
(23:28):
the first time I'm saying pop, let's bring it back.
I don't know that I can get there. I don't think.
I don't drink enough of it to be involved with it. Like,
I don't that big of a jump, though, is it
for you? I've said soda for so long now, and
I don't even know when it took place. But can
I get a soda? Like? I have no idea when it?
(23:51):
I sold I sold out Pittsburgh, I sold out the
Midwest roots. I don't know. I don't even know why
we were called the Midwest, to be honest, but we are.
That's fair. I don't even know it's like a lot
of things that confused me. But we do say pop
shots out there, everybody in the berg. I love y'all,
and and I will try to start saying pop You
(24:12):
know me is because Pittsburgh's on the western part of
the state. Because nobody calls Philly the Midwest. That's interesting.
We are we are western part two different states. I mean,
we are closer to Ohio than we are too to
the other side of Pennsylvania, same time zone, same everything,
and you guys are just called the Midwest. Yeah, there
(24:36):
it is. I went to a Permanni Brothers an airy
p a and there was and there were just as
many Cleveland brown pictures and Cleveland heroes on the Permannis
wall and there as there were Pittsburgh heroes. I was
disgusted at first, and then they started just explaining like
(24:59):
the the whole geographical like setup of it all, and
I was like, God, dang, like they're they're actually closer
to Cleveland, kind of closer to Cleveland than they are told.
I think it's pretty close. I'm not sure the hours
in time, but it's pretty close. It's it's it's so
close where you have a mix of Steeler and Browns fans.
(25:26):
And then obviously they have a basketball team because we
don't have a basketball team in Pittsburgh, so they had
the opportunity to be p A people that represent p
A sports, but nonetheless of Western p A sports. They
get a basketball team out of Cleveland. There, let's go
live to are I know the distance between Pittsburgh insider
(25:47):
legal after the leg Yeah, it's actually an hour and
a half to Cleveland opposed to two hours to Pittsburgh miles.
It's close Serrie, Ohio. It's kind of strange, but there
are a lot of die hard Cleveland Browns fans in
an area, and I enjoyed it, to be honest with you,
(26:10):
like I was giving people the hardest time in permanties,
Like permanties is a Pittsburgh shop, Like that's ours. So
the fact of the matter is, I don't care where
you put them. I think they have one in in Miami.
They had one in South Beach or something. I know
they have one near me. Isn't there you there's one there?
You dude, I got hammered one. Sant Patrick's love it.
(26:33):
I haven't told this story on air, but I literally
it was like, dude to worst of my car. It
was like one of those days. I mean it was
I was all because of Jeff Darlington's Jeff Jeff Darlington's
basically a percent Irish and then pretty much up until
twenty three and me came out. I thought it was
and then that in my entire childhood. But that's neither
here nor there, um. But I just would get absolutely ripped.
(26:57):
And this is like like literally, I've lived down in
South Florida since like oh nine and so, and Darlington
has been down here the whole time. So we would
always meet up St. Patrick's day, just get after it.
And I remember one of them, like we started early
and I like, I ended up cabbing home. I had
no idea where my car was, and one of my
(27:17):
one of my buddies came over and we're like trying
to search for my card man. Actually we're like, let's
just go to Permanti Brothers. And so that was basically
how the now now it's interesting as the y'all getting
faded part is to me, Yeah, and you know it's funny.
I call it drinking whatever you're not call again faded anyway. Anyway,
who was on the wall? That's all I want was
(27:38):
it Florida? Was it Florida? You don't even remember. I
honestly don't know that location because it's right, it's right
on the beach. I don't know that they have anything
like that. It's car yeah, but I would not wrong,
I would not remember from that from that there. I mean,
you might have saw it at the beginning, like you
might have walked in and saw like Jason Taylor's head
(28:00):
looking at you, or you know, it's like don Shulo
or I don't recall it being like Ernie Pyah, you know,
you know, I don't recall it being anything like that.
It was recall it being more like a like pizza
real type sandwich shop, like on the beach, were almost
diner esque than like sports at I was hammered. So yeah,
(28:22):
all right, that's I mean, that's one of the signature deals.
And what they do at Perman is that they have
a wall and they put famous athletes on the wall.
And I'm just like, my whole thing is why am
I not on the wall? Yeah? Like I went to
I went to the one. I'm in the one in
State College. But it's like, you know, that's that's like
kind of like all right, I'm gonna change that. I'm
(28:44):
gonna make sure this st Patrick's say this next one,
I get absolutely ripped to make sure. I'm gonna make
sure I go. I don't bringing a picture of you
and drunkenly just put up on the wall and I
don't know if it's gonna be I just want a wall.
I'm gonna put it up something, you know what. That
would be smart because it least they can just take
it down and you won't get in trouble, so that
that's good. I was gonna say, just draw a Mr.
(29:05):
Yuck Face and put LaVar under it, because that would
be easy to do. You guys remember how popular Mr.
Yuck Face stickers used to be. What are you talking?
You don't remember the Mr. Yuck faces? Really, you guys
didn't have those green Mr. Yuck Face stickers that went
(29:25):
on like poison stuff, like stuff you weren't supposed to
ingest or put it in your mouth. I mean, I'm
looking at it. That was like a big thing in
the nineties. I never seen this yuck face. Yes, I
was created by the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Maybe it's
a Pittsburgh thing. I haven't seen this before in my life.
Mr Yuck, like stay away if you see the Mr.
(29:47):
Yuck sticker, like you look, how great that branding is, right,
I'm creating. But think about LaVar where I came from, Like,
we hated Pittsburgh so much. We probably would have drank
that bottle with a sticker on, just to be like, here,
we're tougher than you guys in Pittsburgh. You know. That's yeah,
I mean that's possible. That is possible. Or maybe we're
(30:12):
just a little bit more ahead of people in Ohia.
You know, maybe there is this natural rivalry here where
I really wanted to engage in that from more of
a trash talking perspective, but I'll leave it alone. Yeah,
that's the Big thirty three because that we used to dominate.
You well, I don't recall that, but I do recall
(30:32):
you guys name hair in there. I do remember it here.
I know we won the one I was in. I
will say that, you know, I will say that that much,
you know, And they had some pretty good players in
that game, by the way, speaking of them, you know,
our star player was James Mongro, you know, by the way,
you know that was the big name player on our team.
(30:53):
James Monro yeahs from him and appeared from him, Bernie
Parmelely and Mr yuck Face on the same second. How
about that he had a bad knee injury. Yeah, I'm sure. Yeah,
but he made it. He made it to the league,
(31:14):
he played and he went to the Colts. Yeah. Um,
it is a two pros and a cup of Joe
here Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks.
We already gonna have love Ohio. Though another addition, they're
like us, They're like our clone, except they just don't
win spot in the pros. That's all. That's that's my spot, Dublin.
(31:34):
They went in college though, they definitely win in college
at multiple schools, and they went in basketball. Even Youngstown
State was good. Are they still good? Penguins? Jim Trestle
still running the show there? Right? Is he the a
D I think it's the president? Jeez? Good for him?
All right, It is two pros and a cup of
Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. Coming up next. Apparently

(33:02):
that for you here top the next hour on Fox

we do on the show every single morning, and it's

world of sports or entertainment. Good thing. The guys are
here to bring you in case you missed it. And
for that, what do you know, we turn it over
(33:22):
to our executive producer. He is back finally, ladies and gentlemen,
I'm back. Maybe feels some fresh pipes right there. Yeah,
it feels like one o'clock in the afternoon to me
right now, because you are not and I'm Nigerian mountain right, yeah,
(33:45):
there is no time zone. Yeah, Lee, what is the Sudan? Like?
You were hot out there? How are the pool parties? Ah? Wow,
(34:08):
missed it and let you know it was far from desert.
Oh my god. Alright, I'm proud. I'm proud of you,
proud of you. Alright, alright, alright, alright. Well, in case
you guys missed it. Preseason football, we had a Saints punter,
Blake Gillikin. Yeah, he rocked an eighty one yard bomb
(34:29):
against the Packers. Surprise, surprise. The next day he got
a random drug test in his locker. Why is so?
Is this in the c B A that randomly any
any moment, how many times a year unlimited? Yeah, I
think they could do it times Jesus. So they can
just pop up and they did the moles Garrett. You
(34:50):
remembered mouse Garrett did something. He did something. Yeah, he
didn't have sleeves on. Do they So? Can they are
if you're asleep, can they walk in and be like, hey, hey,
come to your door if you have if you're in
a program. I believe, if you're not in a program,
they can't just randomly pop up on you. But if
you're if you're in the program, they can randomly. And
(35:12):
that's more for drug testing, I believe, for for like
substance abuse or something like that. As far as steroids
and performance enhancers, it's when you come to the facility
or if I believe, if they call you in for one,
you have what twenty four hours or something like that.
Where yeah, some to that effect. UM Paulo Costa, the
(35:33):
UFC fighter who thought this weekend the UFC and Dana
White got pissed because who saw a UM. The United
States Anti Doping Agency they do these random tests for
these guys, and they showed up while he was sleeping
the day he was cutting weight to try and make
weight at five in the morning to draw blood. And
(35:55):
they're like, he's cutting weight, and he's cutting a lot
of weight, and you're putting from from while while he's
in the middle of this trying to get a couple
hours if you see the guys, and there's been speculation
that when you get like that, you know it could
possibly be that tained it meat. You know, you gotta
be careful. Yeah, gotta be careful. Yeah, to be careful
(36:17):
that all right? What else have you got? Leave? All right?
The curse lives on Drake lust almost a half a
million dollars on night speaking of it, uh putting two
k on Jose Aldough to win and two separate bets
on Usman, who of course got knocked out. But do
you think he's are these actual true bets? Is he
showing proof of the ticket like Floyd Mayweather? Or is
(36:39):
this is this somebody who's not not telling the truth
there when it comes to Drake, I don't pay Or
do we have actual proof confirmation that he's making these bets.
He typically post pictures of his tickets, but I have
not seen a picture of these two or three three
bets specifically just in case you don't win. Why do
(37:00):
you not talk about the bed before about to say
that's that's that's rich people's stuff, man, that's rich people's stuff,
like you know, like like next level rich bottle. Not
not like rich people. I'm saying, like next level rich people. Like. Ah,
I put two fifty on it, I lost it. I
put put another two and you know, you know on
(37:21):
fifty there, you know I lost it. That's all right,
I get it back next time. That's rich people, bro. Yeah,
I can't even imagine. And I got a couple of coins.
Good fight, right, Yeah? I was okay. I mean if
I was very judgmental, No, I just listened. The ending
of the fight was what made it good. But the
actual fight wasn't you know? It was kind of he
(37:41):
was breezing Usman was in control and then got sleft.
I mean, he got cracked. But Brady scored all the rounds.
He knows that's not true. What do you mean? Fox
