(01:32):
football and Shenan Against coming up here over the next
three hours. I think it's some week zero picks, all
sorts of fun stuff. We must start in the mud though,
um yeah, well kind of men not thrilled about it.
But LaVar started a problem. There we go, good, good heavens. Yeah,
here we go. So, I mean, you know, I don't

(01:54):
know if if you guys want to just go ahead
and get right into it. And uh, you know, LaVar,
I was hoping to get off on a lighter note.
But okay, well let's get off on a lighter note.
I'm good with whatever. Yeah, let's go with the light. Now, yeah,
let's go with the light. Now, what do you not yea,
what is it? There is no light note? Yeah? This
I mean now we do have good news. Um, the

(02:16):
what we're about to talk about has been taken down,
It's been removed. Um, but Lavarre you identified really Yeah,
we did a little bit of research, a little bit
of research here and um, you know, LaVar was very
opinionated yesterday about the Tom Brady situation and Tom Brady returning.
We have the sound from LaVar yesterday. Yeah you want

(02:37):
both versions? Well, yeah, we need to get the entire version. Okay,
very good, you want the entire version's LaVar yesterday. I'm sorry,
as a grown ass man, I can only go so
far with Yeah, it's Tom Brady. At some point I'm like,

(02:59):
that's Tom Brady. You know what, I take everything back.
Let's let's hit rewind, let's hit the dump button, because
there's nothing like making sure you handle your business at home. Tom.
I'm not disappointed in you. In fact, I'm even more
proud of you. Yes, I can change my mind that quickly.
I've changed my mind. I'm I'm I'm still teen, Tom,

(03:22):
and you know what a right and listen. But the
problem is, and so because of it, yesterday we noticed
that something very interesting happened when Fox Sports Radio set
out the Instagram reel of LaVar laying into Tom Brady

(03:45):
just the first part and not the second part. There
was somebody who happened to like that that video that
was set out that real on Instagram LaVar laying into
Tom Brady and it was none other than Tom Brady
starting left tackle dont and Smith. So, um, yeah he is.
Since I don't know who got to him. I don't
know if somebody said, hey, you might want to go

(04:06):
ahead and uh and steer clear of that, or if
maybe Tom Brady founded on social media and got a
red ass about it. But um, we do have the
evidence that it was up there for quite some time,
but we checked recently and it is now no longer
on the on on Instagram there. So the bar you
kind of started a little bit of a problem, Well,
I wouldn't say I started a problem. There's a possibility here,

(04:29):
and I'm just gonna be honest, right, Donovan Smith is
a Penn Stater and and I know him, and so
there's always the possibility he could have liked it just
because you you you're scrolling through and someone that you
like or someone you're familiar with is on your timeline
and on your feet and you just hit like you

(04:50):
didn't listen to it. You didn't do anything. You you
just interacted with it in terms of you saw it.
It was, it was there, and you hit like, there's
that possibility. Now, then there's also the possibility that you
hurt what I said and outside of uh Q Brady
uh doing doing what he did with with that sound

(05:12):
bite right there. You know, I know, I know that
Braden Braden was up to that, and I know that
was him him that it couldn't have been. Why do
you why do you think it was Brady doing it?
I have no ability to do that. I know it
was a request from Q. It had to be a request,
because that's too it's too funny, right, like is it's
like old but I know you changed your mind anyway.

(05:36):
The point is, here's the point, right. The point is
is that when I made that point, there's so many
people that said, well, he's Tom Brady or you weren't
that good of a pro. Like I was looking at
the comments I even made times of respond to something. Yes, wait,
did they really go there? That was? That was one
of the arguments. The whole thing is I could have
been the worst pro. Ever, like it doesn't change, like

(06:01):
regardless of me messing around and changing my opinion and
stuff like that, because I basically said I changed my
opinion because if you're not taking your wife to to
the Bahamas, maybe somebody else is. So I I go
with that. But on a more serious note, I think
you gotta take into consideration that what I said and

(06:24):
how I stated it, whether it's Tom Brady or it's
someone else, it could have been Joe Montage. You know.
I asked the question to one one one person because
Andre Collins chimed in as well. And Andre Collins is
a Super Bowl winning linebacker for the Washington football team.
Are the commanders? And and he was like, you know,

(06:46):
don't let me stir up the pot. He was like,
you know, the greats are treated differently, but better players
are treated differently. And we all know that. I'm one
percent aware of the fact that players get treated differently.
But how many times had how many times in your
career did the best player on your team take a

(07:07):
an eleven day, two week or whatever, however many days
vacation away from training camp to go to uh an
exotic place to vacation. How many times? How many times
did it happened for u Q? How many times did
the best player on your team regardless of like you know,

(07:28):
their reputation and and this and that, like they could
have had, you know, a ton of Super Bowls, a
ton of success. How many left? How many left for
vacation during training camp? Zero? Right, So so my whole,
my whole thing is at some point, you know, I know,
it's like, all right, F tom Brady was probably the
thing that stud stood out to people when I said it.

(07:49):
But when I said F tom Brady is it's not
like I'm saying F tom Brady. What I'm saying is
it's like at some point where you're saying, well, it's
my teammate. So it's like a F. Tom Brady, if
you're willing to leave us while we're here doing these
things and everybody else is signed on in his hair,

(08:11):
you know, getting prepared and getting ready for season, you
don't take the rings that he's earned, You don't take
the seasons that he has has had, and you use
that as justification to say, oh, yeah, you know what, Tom,
you're Tom Brady. Go to the Bahamas for for however
long it's training camp. We don't need you. We just

(08:32):
want to win when you get back. Like that's that's
such a it's an easy take, but it's a shallow take.
And it's a shallow take because leaders lead. One. One
of one of the comments one of my UH, one
of my coaching colleagues said to me yesterday, was what
was it, Uh, the captain of the ship. The speed

(08:53):
of the captain is the speed of the crew. You know, basically,
like the ship is going to go the way that
the captain leads it the way that the leader leads
the crew. And if that's how your leader is leading,
if that's the example that you're setting that you feel
like it's okay for you to leave the team. You're
the only one that's going to leave the team and

(09:14):
go be on a vacation in the Bahamas. And that
becomes knowledge or wasn't prior knowledge to the players. Uh,
some players are going to have a problem with it,
regardless of anyone's feelings, you know, regardless of what you
think about me personally. Some some of those guys are
gonna have feelings towards that. Well, let me let me

(09:36):
pick on one thing, because this is something that it
was funny. I was talking to you. I have a
mailbox service where I get everything set and he had
asked me. He's like, hey, what's going on. He's like,
I heard you said you stuff about the New York Jets,
and I was like, yeah, I did ago. It was
kind of funny, though, you know, I was really more
taking a shot at the New York media um for
the rose colored glasses they kind of have. I said,

(09:58):
And I don't know if the kids ready to annoy him?
Is this guy yet I go and everyone seems to
think it's criticism about the player, and it's not criticized
to play. Didn't criticize the player. Uh, just kind of
pointed out that for whatever reason, though the media New
York doesn't seem to see it that way. And he's like, yeah, yeah, yeah,
you know, you know it's like, oh, you know, people
spotting off the different things. And I said, you know,

(10:19):
the interesting thing about that is this, you'd think that
even people who like obviously my NFL career did not
go anywhere close the way I dreamt, envisioned, etcetera. But
the reality is is just that a lot of the
people who want to criticize are the people who never
had anything close to that experience. And and and the

(10:42):
only thing I'm saying, like even to like someone who's
in the position of Zack Wilson, And like, really, I
think where a lot of my comments come from is
the fact that I have been there. I know what
it means to be a first round pick. I understand
the signs and the things that start to build up
and happened where you've got a lot of hype, a
lot of moment met him, and then all of a sudden,
some things start to not work out because you're part

(11:03):
of a bad organization. Regardless of how talented you are
or the staff of the front office, all those things
that look to be good on paper, it's just a
bad run organization and you're in a division where you're
gonna be tough to you know, to get any wins
can compared to who you're playing up against. And so
I've been there, I can see those signs. I've experienced
the firsthand. And so actually, no one can probably speak

(11:26):
better to that than me. And people will always will
always talk about how well, yeah, but like someone like
Tom Brady's got way more credibility, well he does when
it comes to winning super Bowls. No one's got better
credibility when it comes to him for that when you
start asking Tom Brady when it feels like it feels
like to fail. I don't know that he's gonna be
able to tell you that, you know, like, I'll be
honest with you. I don't know what other than the

(11:49):
few instances where he's like, yeah, man, I remember the
time it lost the Super Bowl. It's like, okay, what
about the time when you want a crappy te Oh
now that's never happened. Yeah, okay, So you don't really
know what that feels like. Like, trust me. Like people
can take shots about how people in the media talk
or what they say or what their career was, the
reality is when they've been there and they've experienced it,
they can speak more passionately about it. And and I

(12:12):
took what you said, LaVar yesterday as yeah, there's to
be honest with you. There's probably some players, veteran players,
who are thinking that they don't want to say what
you're saying, but they're thinking. But they're thinking it, and
and and the and the reason why I think Bill
Belichick and Tom Brady we're such a good match together.

(12:37):
And maybe even you could say, you know, pat Riley
and Lebron when he went to Miami to be with
the heat. You can look at Phil Jackson, Michael Jordan's whatever,
head coach and and quarterback or all Star player, whenever
they've been a great match together. It's important because that
coach holds that player accountable. And I said this yesterday,

(12:58):
I stand by it. This didn't happen if he's in
New England. There's no way Bill Belichick would let him
go on a ten eleven day vacations the Bahamas during
training camp. No way. And you know what that was
because of the culture there. He didn't want him to
be treated different than anyone else. And I can look,
I was had all the coaches that basically came from

(13:21):
that regime in New England, Belichick, okay, And that was
the one thing that you learned right away is they
would take in a film session, and the film sessions
got brutal the star player and they would literally sit
there and critique every little thing and make you feel
like you were the worst player in the league. And
you don't want to know why they did that. A
because you could take it and be Because that they

(13:43):
could do it to the star player, they would do
it to anyone else. And that was the culture. That
was how they build it. And so when you when
you had a culture like that, everyone feels the same.
They're gonna all work in unison towards the same goal.
When you start making exceptions for players, and look, I
understand you know there's gonna be exceptions made for star players.
There is, and especially if this is part of Tom

(14:05):
Brady just be able to come back and play this year,
you're gonna make that exception. But the reality is, yeah,
there's some guys who are gonna think that. There's some
guys who are gonna be upset about that. That's just
human nature. So I didn't think, you know, you said
anything out of lines. Maybe the toy, but but I
was going for effect. I was going for the effect
of it, you know what I mean. It was a

(14:25):
good media move. I was hoping you actually said the
effort so we bleeped it, that we actually should go
back and bleep it just so it makes people think, oh, man,
you never know what LaVar is gonna say. Just don't
want what a wild man be. Honestly, I do never
know what he's gonna say. It makes it I have
no Hey, I have no effing clue what you know

(14:46):
what's you know what's funny. You mentioned what it was
like in New England. Remember like the last year or
two when he didn't show up to minicamp which was voluntary,
and it was like, God, there must be some drama
going on. Dude, He's two years removed and he's like
disappearing from training camp for ten days to go on
vacation like that. Like the difference between how things were

(15:06):
there and how things are here are night and day
and and even just from last year. You made the point.
No way Bruce Arians is okay with this, and I
would love to hear Bruce Arians give his opinion on it.
If you notice, he's been nowhere to be found, he's
been nowhere to be found. The other thing, all you
all you idiots out there who when you hear a

(15:27):
take from Brady or LaVar and then you need to
all of a sudden start pulling up the resume. It's
one of the dumbest arguments I've ever heard. What does
any of that have to do with any point that's
been made. It's got nothing to do with anything. It
would be like me condemning some guy you know who
committed a hit and run and him saying, oh, yeah,
well you've had a speeding ticket. It's like, wait, what

(15:50):
what are you talking about it? That's not even the
conversation we're talking about you. It's a completely different subject
that everybody that goes that direction. What are you getting at?
What's the point is anything that anybody has said wrong?
Is it that far fetched to think that there's some
people in the locker room there who are sweating their
ass off trying to make a team playing in a
contract here, who realized, if we play well, this is

(16:12):
going to set my family up for the rest of
their lives. Generations upon generations who are thinking, wait, but
our best players taken off to go to the Bahamas
for ten days. It's not that far fetched to think,
regardless of where you are in the pecking order, that
somebody would be piste off about this. That's why I
had no issue with what you said, and I thought
it was funny, and I thought the fact that you
went around the complete opposite direction afterwards was even funnier,

(16:35):
because now you know, now you've cornered the market on
both tapes, and nobody else is allowed in its great
Thank you very much, well done, glad you say it's fantastic,
thank you. Brian can around. You know what, though it's
a college football Hall of Famer right there, it would

(17:00):
be like, so you have like those classy comments that
you hear in soccer, you know, all brilliant touch you know,
I'm like that sounds so cool, Like why can't we
just do that in football? Come on, you can do it,
you can do it. Yeah, come on you. I'm gonna
let someone else try to attempt that and try to
make it work. I don't have a good British act.

(17:21):
Brady be that tone center, except this time come back
in the game, you know, like like the kid you coached,
you know, let's do that convince them to appreciate it
is well, yeah he was walking around, he couldn't find
his feed. Yeah, I get back in there. He'll be
all right. The other kids in there. Uh. It is

(17:44):
two pros that a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio
brought to you by Discover. We can talk about how
complicated other banks make it to redeem credit card rewards,
or we can talk about how it Discover you can
redeem your rewards for cash in any amount at any time.
I mean, talk about amazing learned more discover dot Com
slash redeem rewards terms apply. All right, So we are
gonna have another dish and of in case you missed it,
We've got the good, the bad, and the ugly. The
b Q News, Petro's popa Acis is gonna stop by

(18:05):
later on. We're also gonna make some week zero college
football picks with zero prep involved. It's gonna be so
much fun. But coming up next, though, we do have
ourselves maybe the most appropriate conclusion to a story in
the NFL off season that you will ever hear, and
it's yours right here on FS are. Be sure to

(18:27):
catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week
days at six am Easter three am Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio. That's a bad song.
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knocks with here on FS

(18:48):
are coming up in about twenty minutes from now, we
are going to get into one of the more ridiculous
stories over the past several months. If you've been following along,
you must feel like an idiot now based on based
on what is happened over the last twenty four hours.
So we will get into that for you right here
on fs R. So, Tony Grossy, who has been covering
the Browns for well, he was there when you were there,

(19:09):
right Brady Um covering the Cleveland Browns. Tony Grossy, Yeah, yeah,
he was. So he's been there for years and years.
Well no, no, I just I was. I was asking,
he's been there a long time, like even all the
way back when you were there in Cleveland, like that
was I think he's been there longer than Cleveland. Um.
So my my point was he sent this out on Sorry,

(19:33):
I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to catch anybody
off guard there. My point was that he watched the guy.
I just asked the question. It was just a question
that I was only asking a question. That's it. We're
all good, everything's fine. But he pointed out that Deshaun
Watson is now going to be running the scout team
for the for the Cleveland Browns obviously because he's not

(19:55):
going to be available week one, and so he's running
the scout team for the Cleveland Browns. Meanings he's running
the you know the offense at the quarterback they're playing
with Reek one is is running and that quarterback would
be Baker Mayfield. So a little uh, a little interesting
there that how how the tide has turned and now
Deshaun Watson is playing the role of Baker Mayfield to
prepare his team for Baker Mayfield. So well, I'm sure

(20:19):
Baker Mayfield would gladly, you know, play that role for
what Deshaun Watson will get paid this year. Yeah, it's uh,
it's just the whole this whole story and just the
story arc and and where we've come around to and
the fact that he's gonna be would you even have
him on scout team? Would you would you have him
out there or would you just say, dude, go away.

(20:40):
We got to focus on what's happening. It's just gonna
be another distraction. Does he get to do that the
entire I thought want Ye, He's got exactly right. He
gets to do it up until the final cuts. Yeah,
I think I think they're going. I mean, that's wise
to do it. I mean people might not be fond
of it or happy about it, but it's wise to
get him as many rips as you can possibly get

(21:02):
him as a Cleveland Brown and an anticipation of him
coming back later on in the season, but he's leaving
for another two and a half three months. Their games
couldn't be any different, you know, that's not you know,
Deshaun Watson's game and how he plays from the pocket
um or even extends plays is not the same as Baker. So, um,

(21:24):
it doesn't really matter in this instance. I mean, you
can speak this better than I could, but I always
kind of sit back and look at it and like, well,
if the guy is the type of guy that gets
the ball out of his hand quick or plays primarily
from the pocket, and you've got another guy who can
you know, extend and plays and run, um, it's just
it's two completely different challenges of defense is going up against.
So it makes for a good like story, but otherwise, like,

(21:46):
there's not really much more to it than awkwardness. I
think people putting putting the comparison to Baker would be
to me, I don't know that it's it's on base.
Like I think that they are trying to get Deshaun
Watson as many reps as they can get them, and
if I can house that and saying that he's he's

(22:09):
doing the scout team, then I'm a house it in that.
The bottom line is you have him on the field
and he's still learning. You gotta keep in mind he
is he's still a new quarterback to this team. This
is his first year with the team. And the fact
that he's gonna be on you know, suspension and be
on leave. Uh, you don't know. I don't. I don't

(22:32):
know how they're gonna have it set up to be
able to educate him and to be able to keep
him in the fold and keep him in the loop
of development during his time and suspension. I'm sure there's
something that's going to be there for that to happen.
But while you still have the opportunity to have him
on the field and coach him up and talk to him,
I think that's more important than any type of scouting.

(22:54):
You know, him filling in to be break or mayfield
for their first game. Can he sit in on like
quarterback meetings via zoom during the course of his time
away or is that something to where you can't have
any communication whatsoever with communication there's no way around that. Huh.
They can't figure out that would be a way around it.
But if the NFL ever came by for whatever reason,

(23:18):
they'd probably be pretty upset about it. Disconnect, close the
laptop real quick, get down under the massage table. Can
you imagine that you just you looking through the hole
the massage table, like making sure nobody sees him. Yeah,
that'll be that. That'll be fun to watch if this

(23:40):
whole thing plays out. Two pros and a cup of
Joe here on Fox Sports Radio coming up, and we'll
call it a little over twelve minutes from now. There's
a story in the world of sports that if you
followed along with over the past several months, you probably
feel like an idiot right now. So we will get
to that here on fs are um So. Sammy Watkins
is the brand new wide receiver there and Embay with

(24:00):
the Packers. He's going to be one of the replacements
for Davante Adams, and he was asked recently by Randall
Cobb to compare the differences or compare Aaron Rodgers with
Patrick Mahomes, and he talked about how Aaron Rodgers is
on a whole another level. And so Watkins was talking
recently with Packers dot Com Larry McCarron and I was

(24:22):
asked about this story that came out involving a conversation
you had with Randall Cobb early in camp. Randall Cobb
asked you in front of your locker Rogers. You said,
I think Pat is incredibly good, but a rod is
on a whole another level. He's amazing, how he controls

(24:42):
the ball, how he put everybody in place. I've been
with a lot of quarterbacks and I've never seen Jim
care Day stuff like Aaron Rodgers. All right, so here
we go. We got ourselves a good old fashioned Wait.
Is he saying that Aaron Rodgers is better than Patrick Mahomes?
You know that debate shows are going to have at
it with this one. It's literally what he's met on

(25:03):
the bone. This is what we need. Can I just
say this? Look is? Is there is there a debate
about that? And I think like Patrick Mahomes is a
fantastic talent. That doesn't take anything away from him. But
people regard Aaron Rodgers is like a generational talent and
anyone who's watched him, who's been around him, has coached him.

(25:24):
That's what they say. They're like, literally this guy and
and you're looking at a green Bay Packers organization that
moved on from a Hall of Famer because of what
they had in Aaron Rodgers. I think about the entire thing,
and I know people say, well, he's only one super Bowl.
Well the reality is, man like, you can be an
unbelievable one of the best players ever. Like people still

(25:46):
compare every quarterback that comes out in the draft that
Dan Marino, and damn is he Dan Marino is Danny Marino.
Dan Marino never want a Super Bowl so name. It's
like it's a team sport. It's not about that conversation station.
No one's gonna debate Aaron Rodgers talent and how good
he is. And that's why, to his point, people who

(26:06):
go to Green Bay to play with him, because he's
that good. He just is. What are people going to
say about Aaron Rodgers. What's the thing he just did?
The impersonation of the one super Bowl? What's it? What's
the towne they use? I don't know, come on, probably dismissing.
It's just it's just your super Bowl. I just said,
I love when you make fun. When you make fun
of people, it's fun, you know, you do get in personally.

(26:27):
I just I feel like that conversation comes up one superho,
It's like, come on, man, what is where Patrick Mahomes
only has one Super Bowl. True, it's a little early
in his career, but yeah, but I mean I'm just
saying I'm just just for what it's worth. I mean,
he's only got one too, and he could have lost
that one, by the way, you could have very easily.

(26:49):
So But anyways, I mean listen to to to make
it simple and plain. When a player has an opinion,
that player has an opinion, and his experience is his experience.
And sometimes you could be at different points during your
career where it hits you differently. Like if Sammy Watkins

(27:11):
was younger in his career and was with Aaron Rodgers
and you know, and had the comparables to to you know,
Patrick Mahomes. Maybe his experiences are different based upon his
level of inclusion into the scheme, or it could just
be honestly his experience from just an outside perspective, or

(27:33):
or maybe a perspective of being in the locker room
and being on the field with both the players. I mean,
to say a guy is on another level is to
say it's not even close, which I found to be
the most interesting part about him answering because he didn't
seem to be confused about it. He didn't he didn't

(27:54):
stumble on it. He didn't say, you know, I don't
know and and then said it. He just kind of
came with and was like, man, it's like Aaron Rodgers
is on another level, and I don't think that there
should be any offense taken to that. You know. It's
it's like, that's funny because we were talking about in
the first segment in terms of oh, I can't have

(28:14):
an opinion about Tom Brady and why this isn't a
good thing because I haven't won championships or you know,
I didn't have a type of career that Tom Brady had.
But in reality, it's still my observations are still going
to be my observations, right. So it's it's like you
can't look at it as as as a fan and say, okay,

(28:38):
you're taking away from what what Sammy Watkins may have
to say for anything other than you know, I don't know.
I don't even know what I'm trying to get at
right now, but I will say this, can I ask this?
I mean, Simmy Watkins is still trying to make a roster. Yeah, yeah,
so what is he gonna say? No, Man, Patrick Holmes
is much better knowing that Aaron Rodgers is looking for

(28:59):
a guy that he depend on. That very well could
be what what his approaches as well, it's schmoozing, you know,
that could be it. But I don't think that he
would put himself out there. I think he would be
a little bit more coy about it or a little
bit more like kind of off about it, like I
don't know, you know, like that's a good one, but
you know, I don't know like he he like definitively

(29:21):
is like this dude's on a on another level, you know.
I just you know for me that that says a lot.
That says a lot that you know, his experience or
his his his his takeaway from being with both quarterbacks
is that it's not even close that Aaron Rodgers is
that good of a quarterback. I mean that says a
lot about Aaron Rodgers more so than any No matter

(29:41):
what he says, he can't win either way because somebody's
gonna take it and say, well, that's a slide on
Aaron Rodgers. You can Aaron depend on this guy if
he's already talking about his former quarterback. Does he want
to go back and like and now he's there's gonna
be people that are gonna take this and say, well,
is why is he showing that sort of disrespect? He
want a super Bowl with uh? With Patrick Mahomes and
like either he can't. That's why you just got to
say next time, I don't like either one of them.

(30:03):
I'm just not a fan of either. Just go that direction,
have fun with them. If you're gonna be painted into
a corner, just start having some fun. You could take
the approach like Tom Brady takes and give be very
diplomatic about everything, or you can just be a little
bit of a smartass and see if anybody catches onto it.
I think that's the art of this. I just didn't.
I just didn't don't feel like he had any reason

(30:25):
to not be, you know, upfront about it. Like, that's
not one of those ones where you gotta be strategically
or or politically correct on saying it. Do who you
think is better? Who would you rather have? If you're
saying one over the other and you're given a reason why,
I mean, I guess it does put him in a
compromising position if he would have said Pat Mahomes. But

(30:47):
I don't think anyone would have been offended other than
I don't even know that Aaron Rodgers would have been offended.
Well you know, you know, I mean, you know, he
would have gone on Pat McAfee show and maybe taking
it taking a shot or two at him. You know,
he's already had some comments about his young white receivers.
You know, you don't wanna piss him off. You know
it's gonna be. It is Two Pros and a Cup

You can tell Roberto's not with us Iowa. Sam is
so he's playing all the songs that uh Iowa State
plays when they come out on the field. It's like
it's like the cy Hawk Classic. This is like the
theme song for the cy Hawk. Sam. Yeah, Wait, Sam,

(32:38):
did I miss something? Are you a Cycling a fan
not a Hawkeye fan? Uh No? This is what Jonas does.
He inverts everything. He's Mr Chaos. What do you mean
he keeps going to take the opposite of I don't
know that he deserves that title. He's gonna take the
opposite of everything I am and try to invert it. Yeah.
I don't know to Rention in my life, I thought

(32:59):
you were and Iowa eight fan. I didn't know that
you were an actual Iowa Hawkeye fans. He's selling you
a snake oil here, Hey Sam, Sam? Yeah, eight and four,
nine and three. How's that for prediction this year for
Iowa eight and four nine three? Ye, somewhere there take
nine three. That's the This is this is what I
love about Iowa fans is that's basically you can say

(33:20):
that every season for Idowa. They're like, yeah, I'll take that. Yes,
you will better than program. That's probably what you guys
will be this year. But it's just funny. You never
hear them be like, oh, we should win you we
should go to eleven and one and go to the
big tension. Brady, That's not how it works when you
set the bar in nine and three. You guys can't
championship game last year. I know. But they got a

(33:43):
good defense coming back, but some work, doesn't The offense
always need work, though? Are they? Are? They the quintessential
Midwest team like old school Big ten team, except that
Wisconsin just does it better. They just they just run
the ball. That's not true. That's totally true. I would
have taken Iowa's passing game at least in the first

(34:05):
half of the season over Wisconsin's the first half, okay,
But when comes to running the football, the Badgers and
the Buckeyes do it best in the Big Ten. Well,
Michigan did the best last year. That's true. Michigan was
very good last year. And by the way, is Iowa
opening up with Iowa staying is that the season No, No,
they opened up with South Dakota State is actually really
good FCST. I just gonna say that's like a low key,

(34:27):
not an easy game. But Jack's well, listen, you can
probably get some action on that if you go to
Draft Kings, because if you're looking to turn a small

(34:52):
Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment. Good thing the guys are here to
bring you in chase you missed it. After that, we
turned it over to our executive producer Lee Do Do
Lab the Lab guys in case you missed it. After
officially requesting a trade on June, Kevin Durant has a

(35:12):
decided to officially stay with the Brooklyn Nets, who issued
a statement saying, we have agreed to move forward with
our partnership. This season will mark the beginning of his
four year, million dollar extension that he signed last offseason. Managin,
hold on, what was all this about? That? Listen, if
you were a member of the media and you followed

(35:32):
along to every little nugget that was out there, every story,
every angle, every rumor, you're an idiot. They were never
gonna part ways with him. It was all a bunch
of crap. They called his bluff and now he's going back.
This was the biggest non story. And I'm pretty sure
did we ever talk about it at all on the
show because it's the NBA and no one cares. I mean,

(35:55):
here's the other thing. He just signed this deal. Didn't
he talk about wanting to be a Brooklyn for a while.
I mean, it's I'm not even sure what's to make
anymore of NBA players when they get to this point
where they just constantly keep looking where the grass is greener,
the grass is green where you water it, man, like
like go within a championship in Brooklyn. Good god, Yeah,

(36:17):
come on, labar, pile on, come on. I'm not piling on.
I'm just saying I don't get it why NBA players
are never happy. They're never happy, are spoiled gosh, and
doesn't make it look even worse that he went through
all this and just to have to end up going
back like privately because you can do the privately behind

(36:39):
the scenes exactly. And they tried everything. Man, they brought
in the Celtics were going to make a move, They
brought in everybody. Kevin Duran, he would he would consider
going to Miami. It's no, you don't think, wow, interesting?
You know what this was? This was an NBA fight.
This is like one of those fights you see where

(37:01):
you're like, oh, someone's gonna do something, someone's gonna throw up. No,
nothing actually happened, Okay, Yeah, Like that's that's that was.
It was an NBA fight in a nutshell where you
guys are threatening, like hold me back, no hold me back, Thick,
the other guy needs to hold me back, and no
one's gonna do something. No one's gonna do anything. You're
just gonna keep playing back. Yeah, what a waste of time,
What a waste of segments and so many shows? Did

(37:23):
you should have done what we did? Just give wall
to wall coverage of how many games you thought de
Shan Watson was going to be suspended? You know, you
could have could have gotten through a lot of stuff here.
You played that role at me Broum at least more
of a climactical ending for it, you know what I I mean.
I'm just saying, see what you did there, guys, in

(37:47):
case you missed it. After originally shooting down Oregon, Tux
are reportedly heating up between Oregon and Big Ten for
a possible join up. All right, Brady, come on, give
us the details. Come on, what do we got here?
The Ducks going to the Big Ten? Huh? Well, they're
searching whether or not they're compatible. And if I know
anything about the Big Ten with what we've learned recently
with bringing us in U c. L A, and the

(38:08):
Big Ten likes long walks on the beach, Okay, they'd
like to have some fine dining where they can see
the sunset Oregon. On the other hand, they're more of
the the hiking type. You know, they like to go
out with wilderness and go on a hike together. I'm
not so sure they're compatible right now. They might have
to work out their differences and maybe find another team
to join them if they were actually gonna go along

(38:28):
with This may have to be a group situation. If
