Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox. Coming up on this
Monday edition, we look back at Game two of the
NBA Finals between the Warriors and the Celtics. Draymond Green
called a shot and he delivers. Deshaun Watson had a
bad weekend and it wasn't even his fault. This time,
we're gonna have another edition of in case you missed it.
We've got some Russell Wilson contract rumors out there. We've

(00:23):
got the FSR I R and it's the b Q News.
It's all yours. Coming up on this Monday edition of
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio.
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. It is a triumphant
return in the world of sports. We will tell you
what it is coming up here in just a couple

(00:44):
of moments from now. It is Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio. LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
Jonas knocks with you here on fs ARE. He can
hang out with us as always on the I Heart
Radio app. You can find us on hundreds of affiliates

so we're gonna take you all the way up until
nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific here on fs

(01:05):
are Yeah. Yeah, Fox Radio Fox tas Fox Sports Radio acts. Yeah,
how bad. It feels like I just saw you bar
a couple of hours a little a little little shift

(01:27):
change on a Saturday here a little wait, what am
I missing out on? We were both in studio Saturday. Yeah,
in studio. So when when my show is ending, his
was coming on, and uh, what LaVar do? I jumped
on your show and got us dumped immediately, and not
think me backed up the entire lament literally, but that

(01:50):
really was not my fault. That was easily Iowa Sam's fault.
He's way too touch sensitive. He clearly doesn't listen to
our show during the week. Radio will put it this way,
when LaVar comes in a little bit loose, having fun
because you know it's not three in the morning and
so there's actually like a full night sleep, and then
the South Carolina mascot gets brought up. You know where

(02:13):
LaVar was gonna take it, and uh get dumped. I
mean how do you get dumped for saying gamecock like
that's what they are? Yeah, that doesn't make sense. That
is what they are. That's overly sense. That that's Sam.
I mean, did you never talk about South Carolina sport?
Is he a big USC fan? He's offended that it's
actually called the University of South Carolina? U see that one?

(02:38):
That one started first? I mean Q, I was like
I was flabbergasted. I mean honestly, like how and that's
your word of the day, Flabba, I just don't. I
just don't understand, Like how do you dump that? And
then I felt bad because it was like literally the
last segment. So Jack, is there a chance? Iwa, Sam
doesn't know that the game Cocks like that's their mascot.

(03:03):
I mean, he's a big college football fan, so I
think that he would know. I think he was just
be he's he's dumped me on Saturdays before for like
just kinda yeah. After them. Remember the old remember the
old three bar hats. That's what they would call them. There,
they were the white hats. They had one bar and

(03:23):
it would say like if it was UM, if it
was Penn State, it might say like p s U
or might say like Nitney Lyons, and then there's another
other two bars and then a very small have smaller print.
It would say, you know, Penn State University underneath whatever
it be, right. They used to have one that literally
said it said apostrophe Cox University of South Carolina, and

(03:47):
it was like the like the the frat boy hat
of choice. I mean, I think that that's awesome because
that's what they are. That was like peak LaVar Arrington
in college those hats, and those were the dopest hats
and no one has them anymore. It was I look
for a three bar hat all the time. I don't
know what happened. Someone needs to bring those back. I

(04:09):
didn't those things are awesome. I didn't know that's what
they were called the three bar I worked for a
short amount of time at like a lids and literally
it was because I wanted to, you know, have like
a discount on getting hats. And then I realized how
boring it was sitting that store. Do you want you
want that three bart? That three barroware one? I got

(04:30):
cocks on kated and then the hard the hard bar
was people will get offended if you're like mentioning their head.
You're like, oh god, that's a big big you know.
You know what I have noticed though, Uh, if you
go to a hat store, like first of all, you
buy a hat, a fitted hat, they don't all fit
the same. So like if you wear a seven and
a half, it's just you're gonna have to go back

(04:53):
and try every single one on. And I remember trying
a hat on with my wife and she's like, you
really got to try that. They don't all fit the same.
They all fit different. Like Berto, you don't want to
talking like you think you about that suits now? Yeah, yeah,
but when you want them, I want my bill to
be flat across my head. If you're a fall you

(05:15):
go with that flex fit and ain't going It's got
to be like a harder material for that you to
get that straight across bill. And I have a two head,
all right, so I have less than a forehead. And
so if I wear the curved bill, that's how they
measure intelligence. That is, I appreciate it other things too.
But if I if I were Carolina, if I wear

(05:37):
a curved hat, I can't wear glasses sunglasses when it's
bright out, So I gotta go flat bill. You know
these are the rules. And let you wear some lokes.
You know, you wear some lokes. They go straight across,
you know what I mean. They're not real big. The
frames aren't big. They real sleep. The second, do they
make loakes? Now know that they make lokes? And remember
those like liquor store sunglasses. They're like ten ducks. Still

(05:58):
make still make loakes. They were looking online right now.
They do have these three bar hats. So you know
Litz has some fanatics has them, but I just haven't
seen people wear them. I mean, I feel like that
three bar hat, a little yacht rock and you got
a little drinking. That's you know, I hear. Funny story.

(06:21):
So I had I had a three kid party this
this weekend. Alright, my twins and and my oldest son.
They celebrated a party for their birthdays. Ones on. The
two of them are on the sixteenth. One is on
thet of May. So we celebrated this past weekend and
to Brady here you know, and to you. But anyway,

(06:45):
so here's the point, right, and so we're throwing the party.
And I got on. It was the funniest thing because
I thought about you guys. I put on yacht rock, right,
So I got these young ass kids out there party
into yacht rock, right, the worst, right, But I had
to do it because when I first started it, my

(07:06):
wife was like, look, man, like, there's like two sets
of parents that are here. You know, we've already gotten
complaints a call that they found out that there was
a twenty two year old party um connected to fifteen
year olds, right, so it's like you just gotta be cool.
Played as cool and I was like, well, first off,
Keno's here by himself, like it's there's there's only one

(07:27):
two year old. There's more adults here than there are, um,
twenty year olds or whatever. So anyways, I got it
playing and we get later on into the night, I
go inside because I was getting chewed up by mosquito.
So I'm inside and Itch comes running through the door.
She goes hit pause. That's why what's a Cardi be?

(07:51):
So song had switched to Cardi besa cardis Everything's how
the playlists had changed on my phone. Hey, by the way,
I'm not disappointed. And the party just turned up a
little bit. The mom and dad that was it right
front of the speaker had to listen the next thing,

(08:18):
you know, Cardi b comes along. It's not allowed on
my seat. I was crying so hard and that was
the one. Not even I know that. We got all
the way through the first round of the song. She
can't run it through the north. What's wrong? Is it

(08:39):
a bear? Like? There is there a wild animal attacking
the kids to see what? Like? Turn that's off? Okay,
so so what it now? Is there a Pandora station
called yacht Rock? Is there like a like a station?
He looked it up on on Apple Apple Music and yeah,
I brought up a play list for it. Yeah, got

(09:03):
station on most places. So yat Rock was for the
sixteen year olds and now wop came on. My gosh,
oh my god, two year old parents were walking out
like an hour later, like good party, Thanks you know who? Carty?
Now no Brady, Just so you know, Roberto has done

(09:31):
it again. The movie Colors is on one of the
televisions here at the studio. It never fails the fas
one of them scenes, Oh my god, get it on
like the right I don't I don't understand. He's literally
like the three bar hat and Colors have been brought
back by this show, like this show has brought back

(09:51):
things that were we weren't that have popped up on
the screen alright on the screen, it is two Pros

I R, We've got the b Q news. It's all
yours in this three hour extravaganza here on Fox Sports Radio.

(10:36):
Coming up next though, uh interesting tactic, right, somebody basically
called their shot and then called the bluff of an
entire league. We'll get into that for you next Here
on fs ARE. Be sure to catch live editions of
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn,
LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week days at six am
Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports Deo and the

three hours? No? Yeah, actually, probably good. Actually, uh, it's

(11:25):
two pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Odd
fs are. By the way, we do have some good
news for a member of the show. It is looking
very promising towards an eventual trip later on in the
next couple of weeks. We will get into that for
you here. About ten minutes from now. We'd like to

(11:46):
welcome blowouts in the NBA. Back to the conversation again
yet again, another double digit win in the NBA Finals.
The NBA is delivered yet again last night all Golden
State a nineteen point win. They even the NBA Finals
at one game apiece. Uh. And look, it wasn't an
early blowout. It was a game like it wasn't like

(12:08):
it's almost like you're trying to make it sound like
it was snooze able the third quarter. And really how
it ended, I think Golden standing on when a six
team to run something like that, Steph couldn't miss. I
don't feel like Golden State really missed on that stretch
that was that was where the game was essentially yeah,
it just and it felt like once it got to
a certain point. And we've talked about this, the Celtics

(12:30):
are like, oh, they called it quit, they called it
is like the strategy now in the NBA. I feel
like we've we've seen that for years throughout the playoffs.
When when you get down by double digits and like
really twenty and they get in the fourth quarter, it's like,
all right, the starters are both teams are kind of
sitting unless those backups can kind of bring you back

(12:50):
into it. But that's more of the strategy more often
than not. Is it not the woudest thing though? Is
he kept you know, Kirk kept his guys in and
he kept dray on him for a while. He took
out Staff, he took out Steff, but he kept Clay
and to try to get clay man. It must be
a cover on top of the room for Clay because

(13:12):
Clay his legs look kind of flimsy. It's it's not
it's not the Splash Brothers like the splash its splash
and splat right now because he is not he got listen.
They even were talking about they kept him in the
game to try to get him going. He can't he
couldn't make he can't make shots. He's like, I mean
he was missing bunnies. They they were all missing bunnies

(13:35):
last night. I mean, it was it was an interesting game.
You know. The cool thing about it is, as you
talk about, you give your your analysis on what you
think is gonna take place, and then you see that
Golden State clearly study what they needed to do. Draymond
Green clearly went into the Draymond Green, you know, dressing

(13:57):
room and and brought the Draymond Green now that that
was going to dictate the game. And and and it's
it's interesting. Do you guys think that if they had
gave him that second technical, that maybe we're having a
different conversation about this series for over unders, But probably not.

(14:18):
See to me, I don't know that they win that
game A Draymond goes out with that that second technical
he had, he had a clear motive and a clear
understanding of what his responsibility was. That he did the
entire game. And credit to him. He was the guy
who talked most about, you know, they can't do it again,
those guys can't repeat their performance. And he came out

(14:40):
and it looked like what Miami did to Boston a
couple of games sore. They just out physical them and
the Celtics had no response and things started getting chippy,
and it was exactly what Draymond Green called for. Can
we get a round of applause? Though? For the NBA
actually getting physical again, I enjoyed. It was nice. It
was nice. I've been I'll be clamoring for let's get physical,

(15:02):
you know, get physical physical. I meant physical, but it
was kind of close. You saw elements of that. Do
you want to hear? Jalen Brown had some comments, so
he had a little, uh, you know, the altercation with
Draymond Green where you know the short about pants here,

(15:28):
Uh pants, pants sounds better. I always said it was
deep pants, and someone correct me and said, it's just pants.
You can go either way. I think I looked it
up and I was like, I've been saying it wrong
my entire life. You can use a lot of people
say deep pants. Well, a lot of people say I
think that might be more cultural. Deep pants might be
more cultural. Though it's your cultured, you know what I mean,

(15:50):
you're one of us. I mean you think in in
Italy he's Italian. I mean the guys, what are you
trying to say here? Don't take them from us? Just
everyone in the while rocks gone, you know there you
go every once in a while, Every once in a
while we take one. Who was the last one? Oh?
Good today? Right now? Who was before that? I can't remember?

(16:15):
Has been so long? Hey? Where is where is Jonas?
Come on, Johnson? I don't know that he's on that
lie about Lee. Lee is on that list. Alright, Lee
is on that list. Lee can roll with us. So

(16:37):
Jalen Brown, Uh, this is uh? Tell me when you
spot the the dig that he takes a Draymond Green
sort of the the subtle jabb he takes it Draymond afterwards,
explaining the altercation they had last night back on the
Draymond play. When you're kind of going back and forth him,
are you aware that he has one technical already? No?
Not really. I'm just trying to play basketball, and I

(16:58):
feel like that was an illegal play. Feel like they
could have called it, but they let it go um
in terms of a technical on either way. But I
don't know what I was supposed to do there because
some guy he got your their legs on on the
top of your head. And then he tried to pull
my pants down. I don't know what that was about,
but you know, that's what Draymond Green does. He'll do
whatever it takes to win. He'll pull you, he'll grab you,
he'll try to munk the game up because that's what

(17:18):
he does for their team. It's not nothing to be
surprised about, Okay, I mean, I think the whole thing
was a dig what you make he pulled my pants out.
I don't know what that was about, honestly. In context,
he was in a compromised position and he knew he was,
and that was how he got up. It was really

(17:39):
how he pulled himself up. He used his pants to
pull himself off. That's what he did. He didn't get
up after he pulled his pants. He did. He pulled
himself up off the ground when he pulled his pants. Yeah,
he did on everything I promised I'd watched it, pulled
himself up. Look, this is a tactic. Let's be real
about this. He's right, like, this is what teams to

(18:00):
Oftentimes they try to get you know, and they try
to get your head in various ways. And when you
do something something like that, Yeah, I mean, Jalen Brown
went cold, especially fourth quarter. So I'm just saying, like, look,
if it works, it works. I remember we're watching Clemson
and I don't know if it was Christian Parkins or who. Yeah,

(18:21):
he went, he went, he went grabbing for for some
ball bags, and it got like people were like, wait,
wear pressure, did the air pressure good? Up? Because you know,
if it's hot the air don't want anyone that. I

(18:42):
don't want anyone rubbing them to me. Those balls are
perfect when it's cold outside, you know, they But I listen,
I understand the tactic. UH. I refuse if my if
my coach alluded to, Hey, you know, when we're out there,
you know, if you need whatever you needed me to
get an advantage, that's not an advantage I'm willing to

(19:02):
participate in. UH. And And you know, based on you know,
some of the you know, the people that have come
out of Clemson and into the NFL just makes you
wonder what was going on there in general, and based
on us, I mean, some other people that have been
in the news. Look, I don't knock Draymond Green for
doing it, but it is kind of funny that I'll
pose a question this way, if he didn't have a technical,

(19:24):
would they have called him for a technical in that play?
And that's kind of weird, right honestly, honestly, they should
have called it the technical there. I mean he put
his foot, he put his leg on it the man's head.
That was what started the whole thing. Like, first of all,
Draymond was trying to take him to the ground all game.
If you notice early on it was like I'm I'm

(19:45):
I'm getting into these dudes bodies and every chance I
can get, I'm going to take dudes down to the ground.
He literally had like three or four takedown like literally
and when he went down with Jalen Brown, he like
flopped on him. Yeah, Like that was like the follow
through of the flop on top of him to begin with,

(20:05):
what's technical foul worthy? That that in itself was technical.
That's that's like taking a quarterback and driving him into
the ground. That like it's the equivalent of that. Then
he puts it he puts his lag at his feet
on top of the man like he basically I'm laying
on the court and I'm gonna rest my feet on
your head like like that. Like there's there's certain things

(20:28):
that you have on your ultimate disrespects list. You don't
let like, you don't want another man to slap you,
You don't want somebody to spit in your face. Like
there's there's certain things that you just don't allow. I
gotta believe a dude that knocks you down while you're
shooting and then rest his legs and his shoes on

(20:48):
your head and your neck has to be on that
list of that's that's two district. You've become like an ottoman,
you know, like no one wants to be like everyone
talks about a doormat. Well the other thing that that
is an automan, And so you don't think that that's
kind of I don't. I don't want to save the game.
But it doesn't matter if it's dirty. There's been players

(21:10):
who've been like that forever. Listen. I just I do
think the conversation's funny. But it would have been called
it would have been a double chad easily. So they're
basically deciding how to like they're picking and choosing when
to make a call that that we I think can
all agree it would have been called a technical if

(21:31):
not for a previous one he had already received so
they're doing what they can to make sure I loved
the call. I love the way that they played it.
They're they're aware of that he had a second technical
Like the thing about it is, here's the thing, right,
and everybody alludes to it, they talk about it. Draymond
is an agitator, not only to the other players. He's

(21:53):
a he's an agitator to itself, and he's an agitator
to the referees like he like for if you take
another player and that other player gets into the referees
faces and touch to the referees the way Draymond Green
talks to those referees, they're getting technical fouls. They don't.

(22:13):
They just you would have to give Draymond. You know
who was like that and they gave him technicals was
Rashid Wallace. They gave him the text. But but here's
the thing. They actually gave Rashid the text. They don't
really give Draymond text like he really like he earns

(22:39):
the text that he gets like he earns them. And
he could have got he could have gotten several texts
after the first one or before the first one that
could have got him out of there. Just by the
way he interacts with with the referees and some of
the antics of what he does with the players. Do
you think Draymond Green is gonna get thrown out of
a game and the in these finals? But he might

(23:01):
have he he might have to. I think I might
have to because I think the league is gonna They're
looking at this go on. We can't justify this if
it would have been automent people. Yeah, he can't just
put his feet up on folks, act like he's watching
you know, the Sunday Sports. I mean, he might as
well just crossed his feet, you know what I mean,

(23:23):
Like you had them both sitting there and them big
old feet on that man's head net. Could you imagine
if he came out before the next game and like
a robe and some slippers that would started and just
put his feet up. It was like, I'm gonna do
it to the rest of them on his walkthrough though,
Like just came out on his walk through the court
in Boston with a robe and and and some slippers
off man, luck, good luck. I mean, he's in their

(23:45):
heads now. The question is now, we talked about it.
We knew that they were going to adjust and create
a game play. Give them all the credit in the world.
They did something that I didn't think they'd be capable
of doing, which was out defense the Boston Celtics. Yeah,
they out defense them. They beat them on the defensive
side of the court. But but then secondly, then secondly,

(24:08):
you allowed the one guy that you knew was gonna
come out and be the way that he was. You
allowed him to execute and do what it is that
he wanted to do. And Draymond Green like, as I mean,
give him credit. So now Kim Boston go back and
do the same exact thing and adjust and adapt to
what they just got from them, because they still don't
have Wiggins did not play well. Um Clay Thompson did

(24:30):
not play well. He shows up in other ways though,
Well that's fair, that's fair to me, Like he doesn't
have to score it ton of points as long as
you get some rebounds plays. Good defense kind of helps
facilitate a little bit, Like I don't you know, it's
not about him to me, it's more about Steph. Steph
continues to go off the way he can, and you
have others who can pitch in. I mean, it's got

(24:51):
to a point where like Steph becomes like I think
when he gets hot, it almost becomes contagious. Were like
when Jordan Pool came in, you watched him shooting, You're like,
he's got this, like he's feeling it too, Like it's
almost like a vibe. And and I don't know why
class and felt that vibe, but um, the reality is
to me, what was fascinating is we kind of made
it about the shooting of Boston. I mean, Draymond was right,

(25:14):
He's like, they're not gonna shoot as well again the
next game, Like that's just that's just the status. But
think about this, I think about this. They both made
the same amount of threes. They both took the same
amount of threes. We everyone keeps act liking the three
point shot and the the amount of attempts and the
way teams now strategized has ruined the NBA. Last night,

(25:37):
it didn't play a role either way. It didn't play
a role in the outcome of that game. Golden State
was just better, flat out defending the mid range, defending
the rim all that. They were just flat out better.
They didn't make more free throws, they didn't make more threes.
They were just better overall. Not only defensively playing better,
but finding ways of getting to the rim. Finding way

(26:00):
is defending the rim like it was. I don't want
to stay closer to old school basketball because when you're
shooting what's seventy four attempts from three? Like, that's not
what it used to be, but it's it's a large
departure from what it was in game one, when you're
over the eighty attempt mark. Right, at least in my opinion,
it's two pros and a cup of Joe here on

all right, thank you very much, Christo, start okay doing
We'll start it off with the Game two of the
NBA Finals. If you guys have been talking about the
Warriors winners over the Celtics one oh seven to eighty
and now it's a big fourth quarter in Game one
that gave Bosston the victory. This time a big third

(27:02):
quarter for Golden State where they outscored the Celtics thirty
five to fourteen. In routes of the nineteen point victory,
Steph Curry twenty nine points the lead Golden State. Jordan
Pool off the bench, tipped in with seventeen points, Jason
Tatum twenty eight points to lead Boston. Al Horford, who
was their Game one leading scorer in the victory, finished
with just two points in the game. Matter of fact,
three of the five starters from Boston finished with just

(27:23):
two points. Series is tied at one. Game three in
Boston on Wednesday, NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, Game three, Eastern
Conference Finals, the Lightning rally to beat the Rangers three
to the final. Tampa was down to nothing in this one.
They get an Andre Polot goal with forty two seconds
left to get the victory. Home teams won every game
so far. Rangers still have the lead two games to one,
Game four in Tampa. On Tuesday. In baseball, we had

(27:44):
the Yankees beating the Tigers five four and ten. Walk
off win for New York was their sixth victory in
a row. They sweep the series from Detroit and there
now major league best thirty nine and fifteen and on
top of the NL East battle of division leaders in
the National League and L East leading Mets taken on
the NL West leading Dodgers in l A. New York
gets the five four victory in ten innings. They split
their four game series. Cardinals beat the Cubs Sunday night

(28:06):
at Chicago five three and eleven. St. Louis now just
a game back in Milwaukee for the NL centrally, the
Brewers lost to the Padres six, four and ten. J
cronin Worth the three run homer in the tenth for
San Diego's. Milwaukee drop three or four against the Padres
Twins on top of the AL Central, I'll score the
Blue Jays eight to six. It was the Astros on
top of the AL West, beating the Royals seven to four,

(28:26):
and the Phillies get a Bryson Stock three run homer
for a nine seven walk off one of the Angels Philadelphia.
Gainst the series sweep, the Angels have now dropped eleven
in a row. Now back to LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn
and Jonas Stocks and the Fox Sports Radio Studio. Thank you, Eddie.
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on FS. Another edition of Vacation Mist coming up in

(28:50):
about ten minutes from what you just did. So let
me know, Man, a little a g one. Um, Hey,
how about those Colorado Avalanche come over one way? Break
out the brooms, Brady, let's go Jack Johnson going to
the Stanley Cup Finals. Well, and it would be ideal

(29:10):
if Tampa, who obviously clawed back a little bit, they
won a game, because then I could go to Tampa
and Deaver for both a. Right, we'll see, I'm going
out for one. I'm telling you right now I will
be doing a show from Denver because I'm going to
a Cup game. Eddie. How confident are you that Tampa
Bay can get back into that series so we can
make the commute a little easier for Brady in Florida there,

(29:33):
I'm very confident in that series. All right, let's go, man,
Man the Colorado getting getting fitted for you before before
the series, Eddie, I thought it would be a little
more competitive than it has been. I mean it's been physical,
but I mean them being up the way they are,
and I know the odds said that. I think they
what was it beating him in five? Is that what
it was? That was a favorite? Yeah, which is just

(29:55):
a little bit surprising, but yeah, well listen, it's uh
it's a time close. During the season, I went to
a Penguins Red Wings Stanley Cuff game nine two thousand
nine at the Old Iglue LaVar, and uh, it is
one of the best sporting events I've ever been to.
I just hockey in general is like I said it,

(30:16):
it's to me, the biggest difference between regular season to
postseason is playoff hockey, and there's no to me. Because
of that difference and how much better it is, it
makes it feel like it's the best postseason atmosphere. Ask
a good question. Yeah, I was. I was thinking this
the other day because they said there was like what
did they say was the capacity thirteen thousand or something

(30:38):
like the teen I know for that it was eighteen
or something like that at the ball Arena and then
Colorado for the game for Golden State, and and and jeez,
why am I playing Celtics? Celtics? How many people were
there in attendance? Kinda list? I mean it was a
full house, but it was like it was a weird number.

(30:59):
It was like a really low number. Was less than
twenty I believe, right, let me get it right now.
I just I just started thinking to myself, how can
you even begin to kind of like discuss the popularity
of a sport when you're talking about, like I with
with a hundred thousand people plus show up for a

(31:23):
basketball for any how about any other spectacle outside of soccer?
Would there be that many people that show up to
watch a game? Well, you'd have to You'd have to
look at it this way. There have been like hockey games,
for example, in football stadium, but the attendance isn't as
as big, if I'm not mistaken, Eddie, is that fair

(31:47):
like a Winter Classic that the attendance isn't you know,
sixties some thousand? No, Actually he usually is. For they
had a game at the Big House that was I
believe it was sold out. Uh, they had a hundred thousands,
I know the one in Notre Dame. They had a
Winter Classic there. I don't believe that was sold out
and that's like close to eight thousand. They didn't. They did. Uh,

(32:08):
they've done a couple of Wrigley, but it's impossible to
get anything over. I think forty and Wrigley, like Regally
is just not big enough. Um. But yeah, like at
the Jerry donme, you think they would pull that off
at the Jerry Don't. Like they've had a hundred thousand
people for WrestleMania there. I don't see. I don't know
if they could pull that off with hockey. I wonder.
I just I just find it to be interesting. Like
I was listening for some reason and I was hearing

(32:30):
the attendance numbers and I was like, dang, Like we
like really really crush on attendance, Like the teams that
crush attendance in football, they crush attendance. It's also, I mean,
they're bigger arenas, it's bigger stadiums. It's it's a little
unfair compared. Yeah, but not really because if you could
build a hundred thousand plus stadium for a spectacle for

(32:52):
basketball or for hockey, I'm sure they would do it.
Because they're gonna try to maximize their their their revenue
or their profits, right, but you also have more games,
So like, I think it's true that as the element
of like supplying demand, where if you had less games
to go to, I'm sure more people would want to
go because they're like, hey, I only have eight or
nine chances to go see them play basketball this year,

(33:12):
just like doing football. So I think that plays a
little bit of a role to maybe that's I mean,
it's fair. I mean I just in my mind, I
was listening to the numbers. I was like, dang, let's
than I mean, maybe I've been inundated with you know,
like what big numbers sound like, and it just kind
of hit me like I would have thought it would
have been more people that were there to watch a game. Still,

(33:32):
it could be loud, Like that's the one thing I
always point out is in those arenas, I mean, it
doesn't have to be a ton of people to be
able to make it loud and like impacting your communication,
impacting how you play, and and probably you know, basketball
more so than other sports inside. But that's that's still
a crazy part to me, is like eighteen thousand people
doesn't sound like a lot in comparison to like NFL stadiums,

(33:54):
but it's still loud as hell, and they turn up

The guys are here to bring you in case you

(35:43):
missed it, and for that we turn it over to
our executive producer leads to the Lap, Phil Lap. In
case you missed it, The curse lives on the Drake curse.
That is, Drake posted on Instagram Sunday night that he
had put a parlay down on the Warriors as well
as the Rangers to win it. You had talked about
the Warriors winning. You had heard Eddie talk about the
lightning coming back, so obviously that four wager, which would

(36:07):
have won him one point six million dollars, was no good.
This Uh, this goes along with his final four losses,
his NFL playoff losses, and now the NBA a gambling problem. Um,
I wonder do you see? I would rather though the
fact that the Rangers lost first. At least he knew

(36:29):
going into the Warriors game, all right, I'm not gonna win,
like you know, the parlay's over. I needed both to hit.
The first one went went down in flames. They were
up to oh and they lost. So at least I
know going into that game. If it was reversed, like
if the Warriors had won, and then he's hanging on
to a two nothing lead and then the Rangers collapsed
like they did, Uh, that would be really depressing. I

(36:51):
would never gamble again, a right, that would that would
completely ruin my I don't believe that for some reason.
I don't either. That's a good point. You know, It's
that you know, it's it's the it up, you know,
through adversity and go back to the window again, do
it again. That's the live Bed Jesus, the The Jonas
Knocks on Fox. Yeah, good point. What else we got

(37:13):
Box Sports Radio? That was the Utah Jazz are now
searching for a new head coach, announcing that Quinn Snyder
after eight seasons, is stepping down. I mean, they haven't
been able to get to that next that next level,
and they've been good enough. I think they've been want
of Clearly during the regular season, they were the best
team in the West, um more often than not in

(37:34):
terms of record, But they just haven't been able to
get to that that next level. Is that the guy
looks kind of like Scarecrow from Batman. Oh yeah, I see,
I was gonna I was gonna go on. I mean,
that's not a bad pool. I was gonna go Patrick
Bateman from American Psycho, if you remember, just sort of
has the kind of the same features. You just like

(37:54):
referencing that movie which you'd be referring to. You're talking
about Christian Band, Yeah, Christian Bai Yeah, yeah, yeah, just
he kind of he kind of reminds me a little
bit of him, because you wanted to know he wanted
to be that guy. I didn't definitely you thought you
could play that part yes, I wanted to throw a
chainsaw down a stairwell somebody. That's what I wanted to do.
That was my that was my goal that I could

(38:17):
see you playing that part very well. All right, So
can I can? I just threw out a little conspiracy, alright?
Just want so. So Danny Ainge is now involved with
the Utah Jazz. Al right, he is now the guy
in Utah. And I don't know if he's pulling all
the string. Um. Yeah, so I don't know if he's

(38:38):
pulling all the strings. But I just wonder do you
think I think Danny Ainge had a little something to
do with this? And maybe Danny Ainge after the season
tries to reunite with Brad Stevens in Utah because Brad
Stevens has not shut the door and coaching completely. He's
now running the front office in Boston, maybe a year off,
depending on how this goes in the finals, and maybe

(39:01):
maybe Danny Ainge kind of, you know, calls up Brad
Stevens and says, hey, what do you think man? We
got we got players here, this is this is a
good roster. Uh, why don't we figure out there? You know,
you think that's a joke. Um, what else some comparison

(39:21):
shopping you guys? Over the weekend, Wayne Gretzky's final jersey
Warren jersey for the Edmonton Oilers sold for one point
four or five million. Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant's Game warn jersey
from his rookie season that he wore in the playoffs
sold for two point seven three five. I don't I
don't get this. What what is it like? You're not
are they gonna wear them? Just hang them up bad?

(39:42):
You just hang them up? Why can't you just buy
a replica and say it's the game one? What do
you mean it's not the same? Get better? Telling lies?
Who would you ask? All right? If you needed to
figure out a way of this whole this whole scheme.
Is there someone who's done it before? That's Jonas? No,
I mean no, it's not not that that I know

(40:03):
of anybody that would pull something like this. I mean, look,
if I were going to make a couple of calls,
I'd want somebody with that kind of had a family business,
like a family run operations shown up. Yet that got stolen.
They did recover that, I did recover, Um, But I
mean if it had I'm not sure you can as
Peyton and Eli, though I'm sure they would go one.
