fran And where do the Carolina Panthers sit. We're gonna

to pick against the spread and it's the usual shenanigans here.
It's two pros and a cup of Joe on a

six o'clock Pacific. Now we are hoping to catch up
(01:26):
with Brady Quinn who is at an airport in Columbus.
Then he may be checking in here in about fifteen
minutes or so. But again, he's pulled this stunt before
where he said he's going to call in and uh
not a shot now, like there's sometimes there's a better
chance that my dead dog will call in the Brady
Quinn will like, that's just that's the way this works
(01:46):
with him. So you know he's a busy man. Yeah,
sometimes we just got to fill in the gap. Yeah
you know what I mean? Yeah I do, well, not
really but not really but but yeah, from what I hear,
I don't know what you meant by that. You seem
to take my my terminology down the wrong roots every
(02:08):
single time sorry, Johnson. That's my that's my fault all
the way through and through. All right, So Thursday night football,
we are going to get into the trade that that
rocked the NFL at some point here very soon and
coming up shortly. But let's get into the game. Last night,
the Arizona Cardinals are back, right, you forgot the air
(02:29):
well okay, yeah, you're right, you're right. Berto had to
remind me. I'm sorry because we're down a man, so
threw me off a little bit. All right, you know
what today is, don't you. I mean, I didn't know
if it was proper for us to do it. I
didn't know. You know, well, I mean if if I
wasn't here, I would hope that you guys would do it.
(02:50):
Thank you. Russ? Uh hey, Russ. Laugh. If you think
we should do what we normally do on Friday, I mean, listen,
that's all the answer we need your LaVar. It's a
day of football Friday. Yeah, yeah, on Friday, a football
(03:20):
Friday here on FSR with the Russell Winson's laugh. It's
so bad, it is so bad, the level of cringe
with him. But Al Michael's he finally got so I
(03:41):
make it. Al Michael's finally got himself a high scoring
Thursday night football game. A couple of a couple of
pick sixes help the Arizona Cardinals get back on track.
Kyler Murray and Cliff Kingsbury, you're yelling at each other.
You've got DeAndre Hopkins talking about the comeback tour, even
though he got pop for p E d s. But
that's always a fun thing to do before you return.
(04:02):
But this is, uh, the Arizona Cardinals. We kind of
expected that we would get short week. New Orleans was
up against it a little bit, a little bit, but
the Arizona Cardinals get it done last night. How bad
it Yeah? They I mean, you're you're right. It was
a it was an action packed game. It was a
lot of explosive plays. Just happened to be too many,
(04:26):
too many errors um and in the second quarter, you know,
and in Arizona took advantage of it, um and kind
of that that kind of set the tone or you know,
set an emotion for for Arizona, in my opinion, for
for the rest of the game. So that's kind of
unfortunate in a way. But it wasn't because I love
(04:47):
to see defense. So the fact that it was a
high scoring affair was an action pact of fair and
the defense was involved in it. Uh, I kind of
you know, I like that. Bucky Brooks told me one time,
he said that we were doing a show together. He goes,
it's all about the middle eight. I was like, what
do you mean? He goes the four minutes before halftime
(05:08):
and the four minutes after halftime. And you go back
and you look at the four minutes before halftime, and
Arizona scored three times and so there were three touchdowns
in that span. And that was basically the game. I mean,
New Orleans came out and they did as best they
possibly could. There was some garbage time stuff happening there,
but that was a rat man. I mean, those those
(05:30):
two pick sixes and they got another score, and they
go in halftime at in halftime up fourteen. It was
over from there. I mean there was There was just
no no chance after that. So I mean, I guess
we could call it garbage to mean, listen to the
score most likely was what thirty one forty two? That's
(05:52):
like that that's like maybe the real score of the game. Yeah,
you know, and and I don't know that that's very close,
but it's not too far away if you ask me so, Uh,
you know when I was when I was watching it
and and just partaking in what was going on New Orleans,
(06:16):
isn't I guess it's kind of dangerous to say this.
They're they're they're better than their record. They're they're not
as bad as their record makes them look. There they're
destroyed with injuries. I mean they are that they I
mean they they you know, to me, they were super competitive.
(06:39):
Alvin Kamara was was involved in the game like you needed. Um.
I just think that there was just too many mistakes
in that second quarter and that costed them. And to
see to see uh Kyler Murray move around the way
that he does, and the way he he basically takes
(06:59):
the soul out of a out of a defense because
he can defeat you so quickly with his legs. It's
you know, they put it together well enough. I mean,
with the assistance of their defense, they put it together
well enough to to win the game. I think Arizona
(07:19):
is is kind of what we think they are and
and and moving forward, can they can they can they
get on track with with playing defense and having Kyler
Murray spread the field out and and create creates space
with his his ability to run. It's just I still
(07:43):
don't know that answers were were there for me on Arizona.
I think the verdict is still out on Arizona. But
you know, New Orleans, you kind of feel for him,
Like you said, they got so many injuries, and they
still came out there and were very competitive. They were
on the road. It's a hostile environment, and they still
(08:04):
kind of gave themselves, you know, I guess they gave
themselves a chance. You know. But but turnovers and then
turnovers that lead to points. I mean, it wasn't like
it was just turnovers. Right, You're turning the ball over
and they're converting those turnovers into into touchdowns, not just
field goals. They were they were getting touchdowns out of
(08:27):
those those uh turnovers. So those are way too that's
way too critical of of errors to be made, especially
by a vet like you know Dalton. So you know,
but it is what it is, right, Um, DeAndre Hopkins
returns and he clearly makes a difference. He's he's freed,
he was freed. Yeah, he's freed. He's been he's been
(08:48):
held back this whole time. So he missed the first
six games of the he had ten grabs for a
hundred three yards. Uh So, I mean he's awesome. Nobody's
ever going to dispute that. What's with your guy? Though?
With the music video that he put out on social
media before that, it's a don't call to come back.
It's the comeback tour for DeAndre Hopkins. The guy pissed hot. Okay,
(09:12):
he was on, he was on the gas. He tested
like it's not like you know, okay, and it may
well have been. We've talked about it, like that's a
real thing. People can scoff at it and say all
this tainted substance crap. No, that's like, that's a real thing.
Stuff flags that happens in m m A all the time.
But I mean, come on, man, like, like what are
(09:32):
we doing here? Like why why put together a music
video promoting your comeback tour? Like does he not have
enough recognition that you know might be a bad look?
Who's who's next? Is O J. Simpson putting together a
comeback tour? Or Lance Armstrong story? People love a good story,
(09:54):
and from what I can hear, some people really enjoy
O J. Simpson's stories. Something will enjoy Mr Armstrong story. So,
I mean everybody loves a good story, you know, and
what's better than a comeback story? Yeah? You know that's
that's yeah, it's it's you know, America's favorite story is
that they all comeback story, come back the shampoo. I
(10:17):
mean it was interesting though. I listen. My whole thing
is we are in a day and age where the
level of entertainment value is king. Content is king. So
you have the platforms to be able to create your
own content and push it out there, and if you
(10:40):
have major brands behind you, like he's connected to I
believe he's connected to Adidas. I think that was an
Adidas commercial if I'm not mistaken. But you know, it's
just one of those things to me where everybody's going
to take advantage of their opportunity to enterprise and and
leverage the content to do so. And that's that's what
(11:01):
he did. I mean, can't be mad at it? Well, listen,
good for I mean, you know me, I'm Mr social Media.
I mean you know when you when you think social
media influence, are you thinking, yeah, it's I mean, I've
got the social media following of a corpse, Like, I
have nothing going on social media, WI, so I'm probably
not the best guy to judge anybody's behavior on social media.
(11:23):
But it just did seem a little bit a little
bit odd the timing and all that. But hey, listen,
good for a great player, awesome player, and and the
Arizona Cardinals are much better on offense with him. So
two pros and a cup of Joe. Here Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington Jonas knocks with the Here on fs ARE,
you can hang out with us is always on the
I Heart Radio app. We are going to take you
all the way up until nine am Eastern times, six
(11:44):
o'clock Pacific. We're gonna have another edition of in case
you missed it coming up later on. We've also got
spread them our picks against the Spread as well too,
as we get you set for a busy weekend in
the NFL here on a Football Friday, and we do
it all live from the entire act dot Com studios.
Coming up next though, Uh, there is a big time,
big time move made in the NFL. But why why now?
(12:08):
Very very interesting speculation on the deal. We'll get into
that for you here on fs ARE. Be sure to
catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week
days at six am Eastern, three am Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
(12:31):
Jonas Kocks with you here. And you're probably wondering why
am I saying? Brady Quinn, He wasn't here just a
few minutes ago, but he is right now. Come back
from the tire rack to com Studios. Tell's happening Brady
Quinn on a football Friday? Where you at right now?
What's going on? I'm I'm headed right now to go
get picked up. We're we're filming a Veteran's Day special,
(12:52):
nice Fox, and so we're getting picked up in some helicopters.
I don't even know the destination we're going to after that,
but we get to go to some training and stuffing.
Should be pretty cool. But you're right, don't call it
a comeback, especially when you took up p d S
and I got popped for you know, you piss hot.
But it's it's a comeback. It's everybody else's fault for
(13:13):
trying to hold you back for six weeks. But nonetheless here, hey,
so you you you were you were talking about this
and we were talking a little bit last night, and
you were explaining why you can understand why Kyler Murray
would be frustrated with Cliff Kingsbury and yelling at him
to calm down. What what was happening there in your
mind from your playing days of being a quarterback with
(13:36):
somebody in your ear like that, Well, we've all experienced
this before. The only differences is, you know, it's just
a football helmet as opposed to being on a cell
phone with your wife or a significant other. You know,
those conversations were like you're maybe in a heated argument
and the phone starts breaking up, and like one side
can hear the other, but the other can't like communicate back,
(13:56):
and it just becomes really really frustrating. Essentially, one is
I mean, it's a one way street. You've got a
play callers sometimes that can get overly excited or upset,
and you can hear it in the way they're talking
and what they're saying, and there's no way for you
really to communicate back to them outside of taking that
moment once you get to the sideline to tell them
to calm down or calm the you know what down?
(14:21):
Yeah that's fair. Yeah, yeah, not the what, but the yeah,
yeah it is. Uh. Brady Quinn with us here on
Fox Sports Radio. All right, so you got you got this,
all this stuff going on here, You're gonna be in Columbus. Uh,
now is this gonna be? Are you gonna be able
(14:42):
to focus on the task at hand? You've got a
monster matchup between Iowa and Ohio State, and this is
expected to be a close game. Ohio State's only expected
to win by a little more than four touchdowns. But
are you gonna be able to focus? Are you gonna
be able to focus? With with all the the family
and friends are gonna be pulling at you in different directions,
You're jumping on Apache, helicopters and all that. Are you're
(15:04):
gonna be able to be a professional enough to focus
on the task at hand? A big new kickoff? No chance,
no chance at all. And that's why I'm thankful we're
here in Columbus for what should be a ployout. I mean, kids,
lay the points. Um, I don't know that Iowa's offense
can score. I think their passing offense is ranked like
adoint seven. Uh, and look as good as I was defensive. Uh,
(15:25):
this is just a it's a different animal. I mean, look,
maybe this is that game where you see Ohio States
struggle like Georgia did with Missouri, or obviously saw Alabama
losing Tennessee even what you could opponent, but even then
Alabama struggled with Texas. Maybe it's that game for Ohio State.
I'm not seeing it. I mean, I always been so
bad this year. Unless this is like a classic Kirk
Ferrens Brian Farrens, you know, pull rabbit out of a
(15:48):
hat trick. And and look, we've seen them pull off
a huge upset versus Ohio State before, but that was
in Iowa. You know, this is in Columbus. This is
just this is just the matchup where Ohio they should
win by by four touchdowns. Here, now, what's that and
a half? Yeah? I think so that was the last
I saw thirty and a half. Yeah, that might be
(16:09):
enough breaths there. All right, maybe I take the points tonight,
but I don't know. I just the more film I
watched to prepare for it, the more I just go
it's a bad matchup, and I'm not sure how I
would keep this one close because you know how State
defense has gotten really good and they can stop the run.
So all things to me are pointing to uh, the
point to the side with the team of a hard time. Hey, bro,
(16:30):
enjoy the trip, man, that's gonna be fun. You wish
you guys were here, Yeah, helicopter, I'll pass. But um,
so I just before we let you go, are you
expecting signage at the horseshoe? Uh? Any sort of you
know what about me pac Man? Any sort of Michael
Douglas signs, you know, anything like that? He expecting that
(16:52):
at the horseshoe in Columbus. I'm hoping for it. I'm
not expecting it. Okay, difference, but but but it is
a Midwest group that that that you know, listens to us,
and I do think there's a chance we'll see a
picture of Michael Douglas, Sean Penn estentially potentially what about
me pac man? Man would be maybe just a horse.
(17:13):
Um yeah, and there's just some name going on. I'm
not quite sure what to expect. But how do you
expect one time? Yeah? So so we will be on
the lookout for that. There is Brady Quinny is about
to jump in a helicopter and go do some training
and film an awesome you know feature and special for
Veterans Day. Always good catching up with him here on
(17:34):
a football Friday, half fun man, Thank god, there is.
There is the great Brady Quinn. By the way, LaVar
in studio right now speaking of the Devil. A Michael
Douglas movie BURNA. Which one is? I can't keep track
of all these very good? Yeah, that's the number one. Yes,
(17:55):
it is. Well, Michael Douglas is wearing a deep v
that it goes all the way down to his belt buckle,
and he's now being at a club with Sharon Stone, uh,
sort of grinding up on him. So things are getting
out of hand here on TV far Michael Douglas gets started.
Look in his eyes and every single film he's in,
and you know what's happening next soon as you see
(18:17):
that that look in his eyes and the scene that
that's that's playing, that's the idea. Ain't just to touch it,
you know, you got to touch it in situations we
gotta score. That's good. That was the Charger security guard.
Uh oh man, Yeah, they listen, Douglas stowes. Uh, you know,
he's you know, walking through the stables. He knows which
(18:39):
horses is. By the way, speaking of horses, the Breeders
Cup World Championships are coming to Icona, Keenland November fourth
and fifth. Don't miss the world's best thoroughbred's race for
their share of thirty one million dollars in persons and awards.
Visit Breeders Cup dot com to watch all the action
live on November four and five. It is two pros
and a cup of Joe Here on Fox Sports Radio,
(19:00):
LaVar Arrington Jonas knocks with you here on fs are
all right, so let's get into this. Uh the big
trade that went down last night in the NFL. This
was oh yeah, big time trade, big time trade. Yeah.
Christian McCaffrey, Yeah, is on his way. McCaffrey is on
his way to the San Francisco forty Niners. The Carolina
(19:22):
Panther fire sale is well underway, and so McCaffrey goes
to San Francisco. The Carolina Panthers received a second round
and a third round draft kick pick, coming up a second,
a third and a fourth rather, and then a fifth
round pick in four, so four draft picks in total
for Christian McCaffrey, who now goes all the way to
San Francisco. Obviously there's some ties there. Kyle Shanahan once
(19:45):
baby set for for Christian McCaffrey. Obviously, his dad, Mike
Shanahan and Ed McCaffrey, Christian's dad spent time together in Denver,
so the families are close. But Christian McCaffrey goes to
San Francisco. The ex spectation is that he could possibly
play this weekend for the forty Niners and some red
(20:05):
zone packages, but nonetheless another piece added for San Francisco,
who reportedly we're in competition with the l A. Rams
as the two front runners to acquire Christian McCaffrey. But
McCaffrey goes all the way to on the other on
the other coast to San Francisco. He's now a forty Niner. Well,
that could be a game changer for the Niners if
(20:29):
he can stay healthy. He's the type of game breaker
that they've been needing to have in their backfield. Um,
they're going to get Trent Williams back. Uh so that's
a big thing. You get your best offensive lineman back.
You're going to get Nick Bosa back. That's your best
defensive player, maybe defensive lineman. That's a big thing. Um.
(20:53):
So you're talking about a team that if can stay healthy,
here's the caveat, right, if they can stay healthy. That's
usually the main caveat of any team, especially you know
as you get deeper into the season, if they can
stay healthy. Jonas, this could be, um, a trade that
(21:13):
decided and defined the West. I mean it really could be.
It's it is a trade of significance. Um. It should
not be downplayed or underplayed. I think both sides got
good value out of it. I'm just curious as to
if McCaffrey can maintain the strength of his legs. Um,
(21:40):
knowing that the weather will be most definitely different where
he's going, and there's more opportunities for pool time and
you know, just just you know, leisure hangout time and
if you if you get my jury. And now he's
familiar with the Bay area. Obviously he played a Stanford,
so he's gonna he's gonna know his way around some
(22:01):
places there. But his circumstances have changed quite a bit. Yeah, yeah,
his money has changed. His uh, well, things have changed downtime.
His downtime is as a whole lot different than what
it was when he was at Stamp. Yeah, listen, and
I'm gonna do a little bit of research on that
obviously during one of the breaks here, and I don't
let you know what I'll send over one up there.
(22:24):
I'll be I'll be held. I'll be culpable of what
has discussed. Yeah, how this works there? Well, you know,
you see Michael Douglas movies on. Yeah, we start getting
a little frisky update he's being tied to a bed post.
So there's as if that wasn't predictable. But then we
(22:45):
can't get live sporting events. But we've got a forty
five year old movie O for some guys getting tied
to a bedpost right now. So so there's that now,
not just any guy, no Michael Douglas legend. Yeah. Um,
So I also think this move happens because San Francisco
(23:06):
looks around that the NFC and goes, why not US?
I mean, they're sitting at five hundred, but why couldn't
they win the NFC if you think about it. So,
like I mean, Philadelphia, Minnesota, the Giants, all great stories,
all sitting there atop the NFC at six and o
and five and one for Minnesota New York. But the
forty Niners look at this and go, look, man, nobody
(23:28):
in our divisions running away with this thing. And if
you're looking at just confidence level, who you've got confidence
in to win that division? I don't trust the Rams
at all. I think Seattle has been a great story.
I just don't trust they've got enough talent or enough
on defense to to win games late in the year.
And Arizona is a roller coaster ride, and we've seen
what they do late in the season. The one team
(23:51):
that you look at that says, all right, they're starting
to get healthy bosses coming back, Jimmy Ward, Trent Williams,
as you pointed out, and now they're adding Christian McCaffrey
to offense, Like why not, why can't the Niners come
out of the NFC and now and now Deebo Samuel's
gets an opportunity. You know, if if Christian can stay
(24:11):
healthy and they can establish him. Um, you've got two
guys that are are multidimensional and how you can use them,
and you're talking receiving and running the ball. You have
two of the same type of player. It's an explosive,
receiving slash running back player. So I mean, I'm I'm
sure cal shanahan is is super excited about about this opportunity.
(24:36):
But again, if if you're asking me what could be
the biggest caveat in this entire deal, it's it's McCaffrey's health.
You know, if it's health holds this your spot on
in terms of what what this could turn into. We
don't know that the Eagles are here to stay. They
(24:58):
are doing very well and and much better than what
probably most people anticipated. Um there, I mean they excuse me.
The Giants are doing well? Is also you know, but
there aren't very many teams right that You're not looking
at Philly and saying it's just a foregone conclusion. We
(25:18):
don't know. They've been bad for a little while now,
So for them to turn it around, is it fools
gold or is it a for real Like you know,
the Steelers, they were undefeated. People didn't think that that
was a believable undefeated team, and you know what it
turned out to be? Correct? Is this the same case
for Philadelphia? Are they are they on a time time frame?
(25:38):
Does does the clock strike midnight? On them at some
point and the season turns into a more you know,
kind of a grind and and and you know, up
and down season. I don't know, but I do know this,
there is not outside of Philadelphia. There's not a definitive
team in the NFC that you would say, now you day,
(26:00):
adding Christian McCaffrey that to San Francisco forty Niners can't
beat or or can't meet the expectation of UH getting
a record that would put them right in pole position
to be UM the winner of their division and possibly
you know, a number two Sea going into the playoffs. Yeah.
The updated odds on DraftKings UM. There's been some movement
(26:23):
obviously in other sports books on Draft Kings, specifically here,
the Niners are a seven to one to win the
NFC now trailing just Philadelphia, who's at plus two, and
the Buccaneers a plus four hundred. And I don't, look,
I don't know if you were to tell me right now,
San fran Tampa Bay, I don't. I don't know that
(26:45):
I can sit here and just say I'm gonna take
the bus honestly like that. That's why I no. Yeah,
so and and they're only and and that's the one thing.
McCaffrey has always been banged up. That's been the problem.
He's missed a ton of time. And actually the host
on this for those thinking like, okay, well you know
what about you know, trying to get a deal done
with Nick Bosa and things like this. I was looking
(27:07):
up some of the numbers on this. San Francisco is
only paying six nine thousand dollars for the rest of
the season. Afterwards, come next year, it's twelve million, and
then after that it's twelve point two and sort of
that's how the contract breaks down. But if you're the
forty nine and you're thinking, all right, we're giving away
three picks in this upcoming draft. These are these are second, third,
(27:28):
and fourth round picks, and then we'll give up another one.
I think it's worth it to take a shot in
a wide open NFC and you can add a player
like that. Think this is word. Look, he looked good
last game, Yeah, I mean he looked damn good in
the last game afterwards too, like damn good afterwards. Um,
(27:52):
but he's going to have to you know, he's gonna
he is going to have to endure the biggest test
and the biggest challenge that he's had in the in
the league, and that's that's the test of of time.
Can can he can he remain healthy throughout the course
of this season. If he does, it drastically, dramatically changes
the trajectory of this this Niner's team. So good for them,
(28:15):
you know, good for them because this is a jolt
of energy, a boost of of morale. To to bring
in a kid is dynamic as Christian McCaffrey, So it'll
be interesting to see how it plays out. It's Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe here on FS are
you can hang out with us is always on the
I Heart Radio app coming up next. Uh. This is
literally in case you missed it, because it was one
(28:37):
of the great moments in NFL history. If you don't
believe a stick around, We've got it for you right
here on Fox Sports Radio. Be sure to catch live

We've got some bad news. All right, So there's somebody
that is all of a sudden taking some headlines in
the world of sports, and now we've got some bad
(30:14):
news at about fifteen minutes from now. Hey man, I'm
doing my research. What do you want from me? A
fine job, man, you did a fine job. Oh yeah,
By the way, did you expect anything less than what
Roberto sent over? Was big fan of the produce sile
(30:34):
that Berto, he is a produce man. Yeah, good job
he made. He made a ciso jo joke earlier that
I almost couldn't go on the air because he's been
in rear form lately, you know, because he's back. Because
(30:55):
he's back. Yeah, the morning it's done, man, all right,
for get about the Dodgers's sorry, it's over with. You know,
trade trade turning is gonna be off the books. You
can add some new pitching. Uh, maybe like a legitimate bullpen. Uh,
you know, something to where a man. Yeah, well, you
know listen. I mean it doesn't seem like it, but hey,
(31:19):
Dodgers will be back. All right. We are brought to
you by Discovery. We can talk about how complicated other
banks make it to redeem credit card awards, or we
can talk about how we Discover you can redeem your
rewards for cash and any amount at any time. I mean,
talk about amazing learn more discover dot com slash redem
rewards terms apply. Sometimes you can't get to everything in
the world of sports or entertainment. Good thing. The guys
(31:39):
are here to bring you in chase you missed, and
for that we turn it over to our executive producer
Lee Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do
Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do
lap Fellas. In case you missed this, are you guys
ready for a little trip down memory lane? Let's do it.
It was twenty six years ago to the day that
(32:01):
Jim Mora, then coach of the Saints, suffered a nineteen
to seven loss to the Panthers to fall to two
and six on the season, and he delivered one of
the most famous rents that we uh that we uh
have ever heard. You guys want to hear it. Let's
hear it. Let's take a listen. Well, what happened was
that second game we got our ass kicked. The second half,
(32:23):
we just got our ass totally kicked. We couldn't do
diddly offensively. We couldn't make a first down, we couldn't
run the ball. We didn't try to run the ball.
We couldn't complete a pass. We sucked the second half.
We sucked. We couldn't stop the run every time they
got the ball and went down and got two points.
We got our ass totally kicked in the second half.
(32:43):
That's what it boiled down to. It was a horse
performance in the second half. I'm totally embarrassed and totally
ashamed coaching were are coaching did a horrible job. The
players did a horrible job. We got our ass kicked
in that second half. It sucked, it stunk. Of course
he resigned the next day. Yeah. You know, the one
(33:05):
that gets all the al the notoriety is playoffs. That
one blows playoffs out of the water, not not even comparaball.
That's one of the great rants. And so it was
what twenty six years ago. That man, that was great.
By the way, those and those Saints teams had some
players back then. Remember that linebacker corps was Sam Mills,
(33:30):
Cat Swelling? Um, God, who am I? Was it Van Johnson?
I forget the third Yeah, I forget, but yeah, that
that was one of that was one of the greatest
in the history of the gang. Oh man, that's Swelling
and Mills. And was it Bobby A Bear? Was the
was was the quarterback? Or was it Billy Joe Tolliver?
(33:52):
Remember Billy Joe Tolliver back then, like Man New Orleans
had some had some pretty decent teams back it's completely
just completely lost his mind and uh and aired everybody
out there. That's fantastic. I missed you more. We need
a little more more, Jim more in our lives. Yes,
(34:12):
So here we go. You're ready, Sam Mills, Von Johnson,
Pat Swelling and Ricky Jackson. Ricky Jackson because they ran
that one. It was a three four, right, and so
they had those guys at linebacker. God, they were good.
They were called the Dome Patrol. Now you uh so
you leave alone? Berto so you uh, that's exactly what
(34:35):
they were called. Yeah, I know, I know they were
just Now I was gonna say that rants Okay, yeah,
you don't think it's you don't think that rants good?
That baseball one is always better? Oh what was it? Uh? Lelia?
Do we have that one? John McClaren or John McLarin
old Reds manager playing every day and got nothing to
(34:56):
show for it. I'm trying to losing them, trying to
get my beating. So those guys, we're gonna change it
around and get after it. And only we can do it.
The fans are piste off, and I'm piste off and
the players are piste off. And that's the way it is.
Here's no easy way out this. Can't feel sorry for
ourselfs gonna buckle it up and get after it. Start
(35:20):
to damn losing his every night, we bust her. It's
gotta be a total team effort turn this thing around.
And that's it. I mean, it's a it's a it's
a very very hyped up contradiction. Though, what about Lee Elia?
Do we have the Lee Elia in the system? Lee Elia,
the former Cubs manager. How are you going to say,
we're playing our asses off but you keep losing? How
(35:43):
you going to change playing your ass off? Bro? Lee
Elia laid into the Cubs fans who were showing up
to day games because that was back when the Cubs
didn't have night games, and laid into the fans, uh,
talking about like get a job destroyed. He destroyed the
(36:03):
Cubs and their fan base. It's one of the great
if we could find that at some point. We gotta
play today because it is phenomenal. Lee Elia, the former
Cubs manager, who's speaking of what's what's next? Up? Le Yeah,
let's go lead to Lilia guys, we actually got a
good Thursday night, but that didn't stop people on Twitter
from trolling Amazon for pushing Taylor Swift. She was teasing
(36:25):
her new Midnight's album, which actually released at midnight tonight,
and fans weren't having it. Yeah, rightfully, so the whole
thing was awkward. Oh come on, man, I don't need
Kirk curb Street trying to pretend like he gives a
crap about Taylor Swift. He doesn't care about Taylor's first
of all, I mean that's part of the show. I mean,
you got to pay your bills, you know. I'm sure
(36:47):
somebody put in a lot of um financial resources for
Taylor Swift to have Amazon Prime. You know, do that?
So good for Amazon Prime, good for Kirk curb Street,
and definitely good for to tell you something, Amazon, I
got a better idea. Why don't you do this right?
Why don't you like not charge so much? Why don't
you fix your streaming issues so I don't have to
(37:09):
log out of the app to go tune to something
else if there's another game happening to do that, Okay,
And then and then also, why don't you figure out
how to properly package a box, so that I don't
order like a stick of gum and it comes in
a TV cardboard box, and I that that is true,
that one one box fits all in Amazon? Is that
(37:30):
the way we're playing this. It's kind of that kind
of seems to be what it is. Jesus just tired.
You had to pay for an entire dumpster. I really
did because of Amazon. I really did. I gotta tread
lightly right now, no one, but yeah, I really did.
It's like a four all my Christian mccafy downtop right now.
