Deshaun Watson is not expected to play this coming Sunday
against the San Francisco forty nine ers at home. Now

(01:53):
apparently they're also going to be out. Joel Botonio, David
and Joku, both of them are going to be out
as well too, So it feels like the odds are
pretty much stacked against the Cleveland Browns. But on the
subject of Deshaun Watson, it is a little curious, and
we've talked about this on the show, because he was
medically cleared according to his coach, to play against Baltimore

(02:17):
and then didn't play, and then they had a bye
week last week, and now he's got a game against
San Francisco this week and it's being described as a
bruised rotator cuff. So some people are questioning what's going
on here, and so his offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt
was asked about Deshaun Watson's toughness at practice yesterday.

Speaker 6 (02:39):
I would never ever ever doubt his toughness. Never, I
would never doubt his toughness. I've seen him play, I've
seen him do some amazing things, fight through things.

Speaker 7 (02:47):
That is not the issue at all, whatsoever.

Speaker 6 (02:50):
If I'm a running back and I can't run full speed,
I don't know if I'm going to be able to
make it. I might be cleared medically, but I can't operate,
you know, with my strength, which is my legs as
a runner. So same as a threat over for him,
I would never ever ever doubt his toughness.

Speaker 7 (03:02):
He's tough his nails.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
So there's, uh, there's the latest from the Browns coaching
staff on Deshaun Watson.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I'm curious as to how C's going to approach this one.
I'm I'm gonna sit back and spectation. Yeah, what kind
of intel you got, I've got none.

Speaker 7 (03:17):
I Mean.

Speaker 8 (03:17):
The only thing I'd say is it sounds like there
as they behind the scenes, and this might shock you.

Speaker 7 (03:23):
Do theyone know who Deshaun Watson's representative by.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
U all the moolaghana.

Speaker 7 (03:30):
You had to if you had.

Speaker 8 (03:32):
To look at how he likes to kind of go
about protecting guys. He kind of throws some things out
the different sources in the media, So, uh, Mary kay
Cabot comes out with a report, you know, or oh,
this is an injury that you shouldn't be able to
come back from for two to six weeks. Well, by
the way, he's three weeks removed from when the injury occurred. Now, okay,

(03:54):
let's start there. The second thing is then they're talking
about all medical experts. They had a medical expert talked
about this who has not actually looked at Deshaun Watson,
but is claiming that like, yeah, he probably couldn't play,
or this is the timeframe at which he couldn't play. Okay,
But typically what you see is his agent's trying to

(04:15):
look out for his best interest. He's going to the
media to kind of help without and getting out the messaging.

Speaker 7 (04:22):
The truth is the fact that he's paid.

Speaker 8 (04:24):
And this is very similar, in my opinion, to load
management in the NBA, where if guys aren't feeling one
hundred percent, they don't have to go. They have guaranteed contracts.
Deshaun Watson has a two hundred and thirty million dollars
guaranteed contract. No one can say anything to him, not
even a doctor who supposedly cleared him.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
I mean, isn't that what we heard a couple of
weeks ago.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (04:49):
So, I mean we can listen to what coaches say,
we can read reports and so forth. But if the
medical doctor who's examining him cleared him, then it comes
down to, in essence, what degree that he feels close
to one hundred percent? And this is how I'll pass
the ball back to LeVar to talk about this subject. Hey, LeVar,

(05:10):
this deep into the season so far, is anyone playing
at one hundred percent?

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Not one?

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Okay, I feel confident saying probably not one. Even backups
that I haven't even seen playing time are not at
one hundred percent. I don't think one person that is
on an NFL roster is physically at this point in
the year at one hundred percent.

Speaker 8 (05:33):
And I'll ask this question, if he's on a one year,
two year deal where you know there's not many guarantees involved,
he's got to prove it. And I know that's a
hypothetical he's playing. He's probably playing right.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
No, he's not probably playing. He's asked yourself this question,
would you play if you were in that scenario?

Speaker 7 (05:49):
One hundred percent?

Speaker 8 (05:51):
I've been at Cleveland Brown quarterback who's played where I
wasn't one hundred percent? Well, I've already been there, and
I know what it looks like when you try to
play through something doesn't play well.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
You know, Baker Mayfield did this for.

Speaker 8 (06:02):
Cleveland, Yes he did, and you know maybe that factors
into it, maybe because of you know, the fact that
no one really gave him any appreciation that season, or
the benefit of the doubt that Deshaun Watson feels like
he's got to protect himself because so far it hasn't
been stellar and you feel like if he continues to
do this that maybe it'll only build to some of
the frustration with how he's played.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Well. I wonder if Deshaun Watson and David Mulagetta and
Deshaun Watson's camp are pissed at Kevin Stefanski for saying
out loud he was medically cleared but he decided he
couldn't go, Because that does give that does change the
way you look at this whole thing as opposed to well,
you know, he's just not healing as fast as we
thought to. Wait a second, you were cleared two weeks ago,

(06:46):
you had a bye week. It's not like you've been
playing since and you still can't give it a goot.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Let me weigh in on that a little bit, all right,
So first of all, you have to release injury reports.
So the fact that said he was medically clear, that's
that's kind of if you ask me, that's bare minimum.
You gave a bare minimum response to what his his
his health status is. So it's not like Stefanski came

(07:13):
out and was like, well he's clear to play. I
mean we were expecting him to practice. I mean, it's
just gonna come down to what you know Deshaun wants
to do.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Yeah, but if you're medically cleared, then why aren't you
playing again?

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I'll say this being medically cleared, if if Stefanski wanted
to throw shade, there's ways coaches can word what they're
saying in the reports or in their interviews that would
lend to you being able to draw your own conclusion
and it being maybe considered if you're a pro person

(07:53):
getting healthy or you're a pro fan of that that player.
That may sound offensive, like, oh, you're trying to throw
shade at him, you know what I mean? But that
isn't what happened here. Stefanski isn't throwing shade at him.
He said the dude was medically cleared. He didn't play
like we're gonna play it by air. You just heard
Van Pelt just say doesn't question his toughness, so they're

(08:14):
in support of him. To me, that would make me
if I feel like my coach is putting his trust
in me, and I feel that from the coach toff,
I feel that from my relationship with my teammates. If
I'm physically able, I'm in here right now. I got
crutches like I'm If I'm physically able to go, I've
done the show with my grains. If I'm physically able

(08:37):
to go, I'm gonna go for my teammates bottom line,
like I'm gonna go whether I'm one hundred percent, whether
I'm not. Now, that doesn't mean he's wrong for what
he's doing. It doesn't mean he's wrong. If he's saying
he's protecting his interests, he just ain't cut the same way.
If some other guys. That's I just think he's just
cut different and that might be what it is. I

(08:57):
might just be exactly what you're learning is that he's
just not built that way. And I don't know that
that's not a horrible thing. I just you know, you're
just not going to say a hero's return, you know,
I mean it just Superman go out there and protect
you know, the world at one hundred percent all the time?
Did I bat Man used to get his ass whipped?

Speaker 7 (09:20):
That?

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Did he?

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Did he always protect Gotham at one hundred percent?

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Are you trying to say we should cut massage Man
a little bit of a break here, I'm not saying
that you're saying.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
I'm just saying there's you know, I'm not saying that.
I'm just saying there's different perspectives.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (09:33):
Are you saying that all those massages maybe softened him
up too much?

Speaker 1 (09:38):
His tissue might be a little too soft. Say it's
like finding a right right candy.

Speaker 7 (09:42):
It's hard enough.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
What you're saying.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
You don't want to bruise it, saying are your thoughts
on a brain?

Speaker 1 (09:50):
You certainly need that rotator cuff to be able to
move correctly.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (09:56):
It could be more it's less a physical thing, maybe
a mental thing about him harding.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Yeah, it could be.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
I mean, listen, I just I don't get it. I
just don't get it. I don't understand how you're told
you can play. Look with you know, NFL doctors on
notice with what happened obviously with TUA and concussions and
all that, and there's been doctors that have been sued

(10:24):
or players that have sued team medical staffs and whatnot
that's happened over the past several years.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
When people start talking about.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
The safety issues in football, I find it hard to
believe that a medical staff would clear somebody unless they
weren't absolutely positive they were going to be okay playing
with whatever ailment does happen.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
That does happen where a guy gets cleared and he
comes back too early and he reinjures himself. It has happened.
But I don't know that that's the to me. I
don't feel like that's the debatable point here. I think
the debatable point is is if you're clear to play,
I think that you should show some way, somehow your
teammates and in some cases even your fans that this matters,

(11:07):
you know, it matters to you. I think that the idea,
the whole conversation is is like you're leaving them out
to dry when there's probably other guys that I mean,
for all intents and purposes, I almost could guarantee you
if you were to do a health evaluation on some
of those offensive linemen that are protecting them, I bet
you they have worse injuries and they're not even on

(11:29):
the medical report. Real talk, like some of these Davids
can't even move.

Speaker 8 (11:35):
This isn't even something that I believe needs to be
surgically repaired from at least all reports and accounts that
whether they're putting them out or are being put out
from what the Browns are giving them. But there are
guys who, to Lvar's point, who literally put off surgeries
till the end of the season, and it's because they
can't afford to go on ir if they have what's

(11:55):
called an injury split where they get half of what
they're owed for the rest of the year, or they
need to stay on the active roster in order to
be able to have a shot and could make an
active roster the next year.

Speaker 7 (12:06):
And here's The thing is, there's.

Speaker 8 (12:08):
A lot of people out there who are probably Watson fans,
that are like, well, he's going to do those situations,
so it doesn't matter, But there is there is an
element of being a leader and playing through stuff and
fighting through stuff that does matter, that makes guys rally
for you, play for you as well. That does matter,
And that's an element of it that I wonder how
much is factored in.

Speaker 7 (12:29):
This is a.

Speaker 8 (12:30):
Game coming up that has no conference or divisional ramifications.
They're playing the forty nine ers right arguably the best
defense in the NFL.

Speaker 7 (12:40):
So you know, if he doesn't want to suit up
for it, that's fine.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
But say you're scared, that's all set, Well, I want
to wait.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
The problem is too, It's like.

Speaker 8 (12:49):
When Anthony Richardson goes out in Annapolis, you're kind of like, well,
they have Gordner Minshew, he's got experience.

Speaker 7 (12:53):
There's he's a good player in the spot too.

Speaker 8 (12:56):
He's proven that like he's going to be out for
a like Richardson will be out for a while, but
like they'll be able to survive. You don't feel the
same way with Cleveland and for that fan base. For
me growing up as a fan. It's tough to watch
for me at having played quarterback there at being in
snarios like this, it's tough to watch because you only
get so many shots, that is, trying to capitalize on

(13:19):
a roster and making a run in the playoffs. Because
once you get in the playoffs, and who knows if
you get hot teams going runs all that, but you
start dropping some games because you don't have your starter
out there, a guy you're paying two hundred and.

Speaker 7 (13:31):
Thirty million dollars guaranteed. That's a problem.

Speaker 8 (13:35):
And you know he's got to You can't make him
want it, you know, he's got to be the one
that want.

Speaker 7 (13:40):
To be out there.

Speaker 5 (13:41):
Yeah, I just like LeVar, you pointed out you were
working with migraines. If if we found out that you
were cleared by your doctor that you didn't have that
you were going to you could work and your migraines
wouldn't be an issue, and you still decided not to work,
I would just take that as, Oh, you just didn't
want to work, just didn't want to do the.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Show, or I don't care enough about the show. So like,
I can't imagine. I think that that's the point that's
the point that we're making.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
Like I find it.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
You know, there's got to be at least a handful
of players in that locker room who are like, wait
a second, So he just didn't want to.

Speaker 8 (14:14):
Maybe fourhands full of players, you know, and I would beforehand.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Let's be clear here, this isn't a great point.

Speaker 7 (14:21):
I know.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
We may come across as Deshaun Watson haters on this
show were talking about.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Which I don't know.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
I would not him.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
I don't know Deshaun Watson weird.

Speaker 7 (14:30):
I mean, we may lubricate some of the conversations. Wow.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
And I am hashtag team Mulagetta here on this show. Wow,
I'm not a Mulatto fan. I've made that known. But
that has nothing to do with Deshaun wats.

Speaker 8 (14:42):
We may have to erect like certain conversations, oh wow,
you know, to be able to that's where dance around subjects.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Oh wow. But like we we put it all on
the table exercise.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
You're you're giving Amendment rights, you know, different things. Yeah, yeah,
I'm gonna just leave it there. What do you mean
I'll just leave it there? I mean, under the event.

Speaker 7 (15:04):
About our fault, we try to bring the naked truth.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
To under the advice of my lawyer.

Speaker 7 (15:10):
One advice lawyer.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
I serve my rights under the hit the minute.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
It strikes me as a stand up guy, that's for sure.

Speaker 7 (15:18):
It strikes me as a face down guy.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
It have been better that way.

Speaker 7 (15:23):
Maybe face up actually when there you.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Go, as far as you know, whether it's p J.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
Walker, dtr you know, I just hope they don't, you know,
stiffing up out there when they get the opportunity to
see those niners. So that's that's where we're at with
Shohn wattson conversation.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Trying to preview a game.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
We can't preview a game without being judged.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Just real relaxed about how y'all talking about this topic?

Speaker 7 (15:48):
Man, Yeah, we are right.

Speaker 8 (15:50):
I mean you can't pull it all out at the beginning.
What that is to waste that juice early on? Yeah,
make sure you get through for course.

Speaker 5 (16:00):
Oh no, no, you cannot. Oh though, Hey, listen, this
is the way this works. It is two pros and
a cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. You
know what, Brady's done A good job. I've done a
good job. I feel like LeVar you're going to take
center stage here. So Brady let's go grab a towel
and let LeVar have it from here.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
We do have a Is that okay?

Speaker 7 (16:21):
Sam? Can he say that? Sam?

Speaker 4 (16:25):
Another edition.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
Quinn's Wins and It's Yours here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you hair coming up?

Speaker 2 (17:12):
I at that?

Speaker 1 (17:13):
What do you mean somebody up at four thirty am
cooking my pregame meal.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
That's very down right there.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
Every Friday you need one of those Chopper shakes, growing
upper shakes, Ribbi and peanut butter.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
That s worked, I'll tell you that. God dang, I mean,
who wouldn't want to have a.

Speaker 7 (17:32):
Ribby and peanut butter was in those shakes? It wasn't that?

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Or was it a tomahawk all pro?

Speaker 2 (17:40):
What was it? Tell us the truth? Hey?

Speaker 4 (17:41):
Come on? Was in tell us the secret?

Speaker 7 (17:43):
You look the way I think I think?

Speaker 8 (17:44):
He well, I was skinny, so he just wanted to
put weight on me, so he would put there was
like I think it was Joe Wheters. Does that sound
like the right brand? Remember jos like Heavyweight two thousand?

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Yeah, it sounds familiar.

Speaker 7 (17:58):
No, Joe.

Speaker 8 (17:59):
It was like w I E D E R Posters
or something like that. But he uh sounds he cracks
some eggs in there, so it looked like rocky.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (18:09):
I think he added like a little bit of a
vanilla extract just to make it taste a little bit.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Yeah, like like French toast.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Yeah yeah, okay, so put a little centnamon on there too.

Speaker 7 (18:20):
No, No, that was it. That was the extent of
the good, good tasting stuff.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
That's how you build the.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
Of this.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Joe Winners, I remember the name, honestly. Was he a
bodybuilder or something?

Speaker 7 (18:33):
I think so.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (18:35):
I think Chopper at that point was like, yeah, he's
just gonna be yoked up.

Speaker 7 (18:38):
I don't know if he could do anything, but he's
gonna be yoked up.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
Okay, yeah, but but your son's getting all his pregame
prep getting.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Done right now.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Every every week his mother does that every week. He likes, uh,
chicken of what is it? Alfredo Fetini, Alfredo, yeah, pasta,
that's a that's his deal. And he takes in like
four or five containers to his teammates like that that
have had it. We used to actually, when I had

(19:08):
a whole bunch of kids that you know, you stay
at the house and all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
We used to.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
It was like a thing, like a pregame meal thing,
you know. But da've all since graduated, and so now
man man takes it to school with his class group
of guys and it's pretty cool. Man, it's pretty cool deal.
Like she's up right now. Four thirty shouts out the
trica ly, you know what. I hope he has a

(19:34):
good game though, Like can you have a good game tonight?

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Sheez?

Speaker 7 (19:38):
Oh wait if he doesn't, it's like that, are you
gonna be mad?

Speaker 1 (19:41):
No? No, no, I'm not that type of dad. I go,
I go, and I'll be chilling like I really, you know,
I'll give him some advice here and there, tell him
you know what I'm looking.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
At, you know.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
But but other than that, you you would have liked
me to be your dad, bro, like I'm telling you,
like I'd have been at the games, like you know,
we got this whole unwritten or unspoken type of you
know communication. He'll he'll look over and I'll tell him
like if it's like long arming, like I'll put out
my arms like he's long arming. You like long arming.

(20:13):
So we have we have techniques that how you defeat
long arms. Or I'll hold it close. I'll be close
to my bike like he's close, like he's grabbing you.
He's like getting up in you close, and we have
like you know, he's he's been tied to know like, Okay,
if it's long armed, that's how I do. If it's
you know, short sets, long sets, he's running on you
like you know, different things like that. That's the extent

(20:36):
of it. Though, that's the extent of it. I don't
be sitting there like going crazy like hey you mother
and getting what grab go grabbing like go you know,
there's some dads that be going down to the fence.
They be grabbing their kids face mask, like we got
we got dreams on the line here, man, Like these
dudes is really trying to make it to the pros.

(20:59):
Hey man, I've seen someone and I mean that's why
it's funny because that's kind of what took place when
that fight broke out on seven on seven. It was
somebody's dad that they going to the pros. They didn't
like the way that a kid that was better than
him was was doing it on the field, and he
came out and defended the family name pride, like the

(21:19):
honor of their family. Some of these cats take this
as way too seriously, man, way too seriously.

Speaker 5 (21:27):
Not me. I'm not that dude. I just I'm a spectator.
Because you have class. Well, I don't get into all
of that. Now, don't put that on me because that's
a segue to something now I don't even want to do. Listen,
you're a classy guy. And speaking of class, look at
that Graduate Hotels. He's your college game day headquarters of
more than thirty hotels and all your favorite college towns
looking stay this season and save up to thirty percent

(21:48):
with the code two pros. That's two pros at Graduatehotels
dot com. That's two pros at Graduatehotels dot com. So
we all take that class. Yeah, I take Graduate Hotel.
But people there next Friday is going to.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
Be a movie.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Yeah, I hope you come around, like I hope you
guys come check us out at that that pregame t
Lgate party because well, I think that you'll get an
opportunity to understand why we have such an amazingly, ridiculously
successful radio show in the morning.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
It'd be fun. Yeah, man, it's gonna be a lot
of fun.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
Now we are going to spread them coming up in
about fifteen minutes, and from now we're gonna have our
picks against the spread. But it is something that is
sweeping the sports talk radio nation. It's college football, it's
college football expertise, and it's college football expertise starring the
star of Big.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Noon kickoffs one, Braden T.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
Quinn.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
It's Quinn's wins.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
Come on, come on, Quinn, Yeah, come on.

Speaker 7 (22:46):
All right, are we ready? Yeah.

Speaker 8 (22:48):
As always, we try to highlight the top twenty five
matchups in college football each week. This one starts off
down in Chapel Hill, North Carolina undefeated so far. Take
it out of the Hurricanes. The Hurricanes gotta get passed
quite possibly one of the worst coaching decisions last week
by Miami not kneeling on the football, fumbling the football,

(23:10):
allowing Georgia sek doing two plays go down the field
end up throwing a touchdown pass to win the game.
But I think this line right now has unc favored
by three and a half. Could be a little more
than that depending on the book. But here's the problem.
This is an overreaction, all right. This Miami team is
a much more complete team right now when you look
at them, Tyler van Dijkes completing over seventy percent of

(23:31):
his passes, two hundred and seventy four yards, thirteen total touchdowns,
only four interceptions on the season. And also the UM
defense their number two scoring defense total defense in the ACC,
and they're the number one rush defense in college or
excuse me, in the ACC. So far they haven't allowed
over one hundred yards rush on them all year. So
the bottom line is this UM team needs to look

(23:53):
to focus to rebound.

Speaker 7 (23:54):
I think they will. North Carolina's got Drake may a quarterback.
He puts up a lot of numbers.

Speaker 8 (23:59):
He's averaged over three hundred and sixty yards passing per game,
and he's got Tesz Walker back. He was the wide
receiver who they had out on a transfer winning for
his eligibility.

Speaker 7 (24:10):
He got it back. We saw a little bit a
bit bit of that last week.

Speaker 8 (24:12):
But the problem is they can't do it all UNCS
the worst scoring defense, total defense, pass defense in the ACC.
So to me, this is an overreaction from what we
saw last week. Take the points. With the Hurricanes on
the road. Next up, we've got a great matchup in
the Pac twelve Oregon State they're we're gonna be hosting UCLA.

(24:35):
Both these teams have suffered a loss so far this year,
so really, with as much parody as there is in
the Pac twelve, there is zero room for air and
this one it's gonna come down to simply this, can
Oregon State stop the rushing attack of UCLA and really
Carson Steele who had over one hundred and forty yards
last week in their win. Ucla average about two hundred

(24:57):
yards on the ground, and that's the concern for Oregon State.
They give up over two hundred and forty yards last
week to Cal in the last two of three games
they get up over thirty eight points defensively. So this
is another one where take the points and UCLA as
the underdog on the road here. Next up in the
Pac twelve, we're staying for Washington hosting Oregon.

Speaker 7 (25:18):
This is the first time this long.

Speaker 8 (25:20):
Matchup between these two schools that both teams have been
matched in the top ten and if you like any
bet on this particular play, it's the over. This two
of the top three scoring offenses in all of college football.
Both quarterbacks have combined to equate to thirty two total
touchdowns only three interceptions.

Speaker 7 (25:39):
This should be a fun game too. Remember last year
they had six lead changes.

Speaker 8 (25:43):
You dub end up coming back winning in the end
with ten unanswered points for a tight one. But bo
Nix is one of the best quarterbacks in the country
up for the Heisman. He actually may set an NCAA
completion percentage record. He's completing eighty percent of his passes
right now. However, the Ducks are going to have to
be without running back No Whittington. They do have Bucky
Irving George James. Those guys are very capable of taking over.

(26:05):
And then on the flip side, Washington's got Michael Pennix.
Heavages more yards pass than anyone over four und yards
per game, sixteen total touchdowns, only two interceptions. He's also
a Heisman candidate. However, the question is will Jalen McMillan
be back for them. He's missed the last two games
with an injury. They've got Romo Dounza and Jalen Polk
as well. The difference in this one to me, guys, though,

(26:25):
is the Oregon defense. This is one of the better
defenses in the Pac twelve. They've got twelve sacks over
the last couple of games. It's the number one pass
defense in the Pac twelve as well, So I think
the more complete balanced team in Oregon. You take the
three points, and I think they don't even need the
three points.

Speaker 7 (26:42):
They'll come away with the win.

Speaker 8 (26:44):
And finally, last up, Notre Dame hosting Southern Cal. Big
question for Notre Dame is can they rebound off their
lost last week to Louisville. It's two loss this season.
They're no longer in college football playoff contention, but they
can try to play spoiler.

Speaker 7 (26:59):
For Southern cow who has some issues of their own.

Speaker 8 (27:02):
Last couple of games now to Colorado and Arizona. They've
given up forty points and over five hundred yards per
game in each one of those.

Speaker 7 (27:12):
So, yes, they've got Kayleb Williams. He's special.

Speaker 8 (27:15):
He proved that in the final moments last week versus Arizona.
But this defense has missed thirty four tackles just over
the last two games. It feels like it's a reoccurring
theme from last year's USC teams that struggled defensively. The
big thing for USC is to get back zacharyah Brants,
their outstanding wide receiver and returner. Corey Forman at defensive
tackle could be back, and Demonni Jackson should also be

(27:37):
back at cornerback for USC, so they should be full strength.

Speaker 7 (27:41):
This is one though that was a little bit peculiar
to me.

Speaker 8 (27:44):
I thought with Notre Dame coming off the loss, even
though they're hosting USC, I didn't think they'd be favored
by two and a half points, So it's fishy.

Speaker 7 (27:52):
It looks fishy.

Speaker 8 (27:53):
I think Notre Dame is the better overall team defensively,
able to run the football, more complete team. I think
the Iris not only win, but this number at two
and a half and there are your picks for this week.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
Damn right, that's what I'm talking about. Well done, well done.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
Huge by the way that total on the Oregon Washington game,
I'm seeing that at sixty six and a half.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
On Yeah, Jonas was over this joint taking notes. I was,
I swear to God, I'm going to be an expert
on this.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
Just keeping track here, you know, why not let me
listen some you know, some teams getting points.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
You know, you can't do this segment for our health.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
By the way, By the.

Speaker 5 (28:31):
Way, Miami North Carolina is going to be interesting because
I'm really wondering how that team is going to respond
to what the hell Mario Christobal did last week.

Speaker 7 (28:39):
Like I really there's so much better than people give
them credit.

Speaker 8 (28:43):
Like overall, like watching tape, man, they I'm not saying
they're back to what they used to be.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
They're good.

Speaker 8 (28:48):
That offensive line is physical, Like I think my frustration
would be. I mean, even though they struggled offensive in
some ways, and it's more about their own demise. Like
Shannon Dawson's inn a great job as the o C.
But I think Mario Christobal just wants to run the
football all the time. And they have the ability to
create big plays in the passing game. It's just like
they don't let them throw down field more. But the

(29:08):
one team I talked about that I think will be
interesting college football to keep an eye on is UCLA.

Speaker 7 (29:14):
UCLA's defense is really really good.

Speaker 8 (29:17):
They're actually they allow the fewest yards per play which
is like a metric people look at of anyone in
college football, and they've held every single opponent below eighteen points.
Like that's a team that if they beat Oregon State
they start kind of working through some things. They can
run the football as long as they don't put too
much on Dante More, the true freshman quarterback. Like that

(29:37):
team could surprise a lot of people this year with
Chip Kelly and no one's talking about it right now.

Speaker 5 (29:41):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here

leave the laugh after that, imaging leave.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
How did we do last week?

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Interesting week?

Speaker 10 (31:49):
Last week Fellas everybody took correctly the Jaguars to upset
the Bills in London.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
Good job everybody on that one.

Speaker 10 (31:57):
Next up, we had the Panthers at the Lions, where
Jonas and Brady correctly took the ten points with the Lions.
We had Saints at Patriots. Brady and LeVar correctly took
the Saints to upset the Pats.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Brady's in the league chief said.

Speaker 10 (32:11):
Vikings, Brady LeVar again, you guys took k C correctly.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
Good job there.

Speaker 10 (32:18):
And lastly we had the Cowboys at Niners with the
Niners and bearss Dallas, Brady and LeVar again, you guys
saw that one, so Brady about one mongus week for
Brady Brady, good job going undefeated five and o last
week LeVar right behind him four and one.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Jonas, tough week for you, buddy, two and three.

Speaker 5 (32:41):
Kiss No, it is funny, he drags it out interesting week?

Speaker 4 (32:49):
What was interesting about going two and three?

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Well, Brady went five and oh that was very interesting.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
I mean that's far away from two and three. You know,
I want to fact check that. I don't know that
I can trust out getting giddy.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
Yeah, audit, audit those picture.

Speaker 5 (33:06):
Hold on, Lee, how do we know that you were
sober when telling this stuff up and listening?

Speaker 7 (33:12):
Now, this is what I like to go to too.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
Yeah, it's a good one.

Speaker 10 (33:18):
Sober last week during the show, this time last week
on Thursday. Oh no, we have to check the table
on that one.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
All right, So let'sten. I'll take your word for it.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
So now I'm only one to hit.

Speaker 10 (33:29):
Now you actually have a three point lead. Still, what
Brady did? Jump Jonas here? So Brady, you were three
games behind LeVar and Jonas you are two games behind.

Speaker 4 (33:40):
Brady tang so far away from me?

Speaker 2 (33:43):
Jonas killing it here?

Speaker 7 (33:45):
But on to Hey, hey, Jonaky, let's get a high
five for that.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
You know what? Brady up top?

Speaker 10 (33:51):
Baby?

Speaker 7 (33:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (33:53):
You know, Irish don't want to do it one more time?

Speaker 7 (33:57):
Yeah, I'll do one more time?

Speaker 5 (33:58):
Yeah, yeah, damn slapshit?

Speaker 4 (34:03):
Can I get one for the TV? Up tire for
the TV up top.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Yeah, hey, if you were here with us, Levo, how
much do you love that? It's really good. It's one
of the better ones of all of them. Actually, yeah,
that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
She does look good.

Speaker 10 (34:23):
What where we start in week six? Let's start in
London Ravens and Titans, where the Ravens are four point favorites,
even though the Titans are technically at home, but they're
not at home.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
Oh, I mean okay, so Baltimore, please good.

Speaker 7 (34:41):
I'll say one quick piece of information. Uh.

Speaker 8 (34:44):
We went out there in twenty ten, and we went
out late in the week. San Francisco went out early
in the week. We were dead tired. They beat our
butts and we weren't even competitive. And I think we
got popped like film in there.

Speaker 7 (34:55):
Walkthrough to it. It still didn't matter.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Where's London.

Speaker 7 (34:58):
It's in London.

Speaker 8 (35:00):
And Tennessee went over early in the week, Baltimore went
over late. I'm gonna take the four points in the
Tennessee titles.

Speaker 5 (35:07):
Wait, I thought that was in reverse. I thought Rabel
left after practice. The Titans left after practice on Thursday
said yesterday.

Speaker 7 (35:16):
Yeah, I thought I read it the other way.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Around.

Speaker 4 (35:18):
Yeah, I mean, Lee, we can look that up.

Speaker 5 (35:20):
But I thought it was the Titans who left after
Thursday's practice and they wouldn't be arriving until Friday. And
Rabel did the same time, did the same thing the
last time they were there, and the Titans got blown out.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
Got it.

Speaker 8 (35:32):
Say well, if that's the case, I thought I read
it the other way. But if that's the case, I'll
lay the four points.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
Can you confirm it? So I don't, we don't have
any like, just confirm this. Come on, efforting, Come on,
efforting league, Come on.

Speaker 7 (35:47):
Have coople.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Cooper is already smoked out and then the big Coops.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
Had a poker tournament.

Speaker 10 (35:53):
He's not here online in his mind, Titans are sticking
to the same routine as they did in twenty eighteen
where they traveled to London.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
Yeah, I said, I see this now, Yeah, okay, all right,
Why is here if it didn't work though?

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (36:11):
Because their ownership is cheap and they don't want to
have to pay for the additional week oft Yeah. Absolutely,
the thousands of dollars, Like, trust me that they've got budgets.

Speaker 7 (36:20):
Like people act like they don't. They do utterly the
four points of Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Oh yeah, I think Baltimore. They have to have a
good showing. I think they're going to cover. So that
means laying the points right, That is laying the.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Points all right.

Speaker 10 (36:35):
Next up, Colt said Jaguars the Minshew revenge game were
first place in the NFC South is on the line.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Jaguars are four point favorites at home.

Speaker 7 (36:45):
This is tough. I will think, shoot many a baby.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
I think the Colts are going to win outright. Really,
I'm going with the Colts.

Speaker 7 (36:54):
Wow, you know, I'll go with LeVar.

Speaker 8 (36:56):
I'll take the points here and the Colts lea Jonathan
Taylor boss beIN towed that rock.

Speaker 7 (37:01):
Jacksonville struggled to stop the run at times.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
The defense has been stepping up lately too. Yeah, they
look pretty good, man, Surprisingly, they look pretty good.

Speaker 5 (37:12):
I'll take Jacksonville. I don't want Jacksonville. I want Minsheets,
So I'll take Jets. I've just told you that's as
long as you pick against, you should be good.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
Damn Lions and Buccaneers.

Speaker 10 (37:24):
NFC South leading Bucks play host to the NFC North
leading Lions.

Speaker 2 (37:27):
Lions are three point favorites on the road.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
I got Tampa got that down, then, yeah, what's the
lot against?

Speaker 2 (37:34):
Sorry, Jonas like the lines three point favorites on the road.

Speaker 7 (37:39):
I'll lay the three points there.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Yeah, me too, all right?

Speaker 10 (37:44):
Next up Eagles at Jets met Life Stadium. Jets aim
to give Eagles their first loss on the road. Eagles
are touchdown favorites, seven point favorites at Jets.

Speaker 7 (37:53):
Do you guys know the Jets have never beat the Eagles?

Speaker 1 (37:57):
Well you may ever, Well, it ain't gonna start this week,
but they ain't gonna lose more than seven.

Speaker 7 (38:04):
Playing the seven points with Philly, I'll take Jess plus.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Yeah, I'm laying this Land the seven points, last one Giant,
said Bills.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
Bill's fourteen and a half point favorite Sunday Night, Land the.

Speaker 7 (38:13):
Fourteen and a half points.

Speaker 4 (38:14):
Bills, I'm not Bill's.

Speaker 5 (38:16):
I'm not You're taking the Giants getting fourteen and a half. Yeah, man,
they won't beat them by more than that state rivalry.

Speaker 4 (38:24):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
