everybody's sleeve. We're at the track in slow motion. I
feel like an after night and uh oh, said Jonas.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Do you give me the a A?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (00:55):
What you know about Horsey a little war?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Ah? Yeah, that's the one right there. That's the one
that matters. What you horses know about it? Oh, they're
rolling the deep if they win this. That's why they
call it the breeders cut. You know about.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Told you any more activity there?

Speaker 6 (01:15):
No, So there's just people setting stuff up. We were
by the way, we were live. It's two Pros and
a Cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio. LaVar Arrington
Jonas Knox lead lap Or live in sant Anita at
the Breeders Cup here in Beautiful Arcadia. Brady Quinn's in Austin, Texas.
We got boots on the grounds, just what we do
all over the country. And so there are guys that

(01:35):
are they're just setting stuff up like a lot of
the uh you know, upstairs, like in the grandstands, you
got people. I can I can smell food being put together.
So there's some breakfast stuff that's being cooked. We probably
can't get our hands on any of that stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I think they're trying to bring a horse out, but
horse like. I think I saw his face. He's like,
hell no, that's cold out here, Like let's go back here.
We'll come back out a little later. By the wait,
I think that's yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
I think.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I just saw him shake a little bit.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
They turned.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
This is probably gonna be a dumb question, but screw it.
And Brady, look, you you were a horse owner, so
you would know this better than anybody. Do horses sleep
standing up or they lay down?

Speaker 4 (02:15):
How does that work?

Speaker 1 (02:16):
They stand up?

Speaker 6 (02:17):
They wouldn't you get tired of that crap?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I mean, you're you're an amazing creature like they can
do it standing up. They can do it.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Just asked, or if he gets tired of that.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
No, I'm saying like like if you're a horse, wouldn't you.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Sometimes I've fallen asleep standing up before really yeah you have, yes, Yes,
I could take a nap any type of way, bro
on everything. What are you talking about. I've fallen asleep
with pins in my hand and the pin was still
in the same place, remote all kinds of different stuff,
and I'd be in the same position like narcleptic. No, No,

(02:56):
I won't just just go out. If I'm just really tired,
like get a happen, like I'll take I consciously make
the decision like I'm going to take a quick nut
right here standing up, I can do it.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Geez.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
I mean I'll be leaning up against something like I'll
be up against the wall or something saying it but
my leg ye out.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Yeah, I do say it.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
I don't have my hand on the wall though Ersay
has the patent that. Like when I envision irsay singing,
I envision his hand on whatever it is he's leaning on.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
I don't envision it as a shoulder. It's more of
a hand. You know he's reaching out. Yeah, yeah, it's
it's a little bit moreths ish. Good call. Yeah, but me, Yeah,
I've done it before. I've leaned up against the wall,
took a nap, like in the airport or something like that.
Like you got like you get there super early and
you're tired, like super super super super tired from partying

(03:47):
really really really hard.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Has there ever been like a kid that's flocked up
in mister Harrington, Mister Harrington, I was popular when I
was doing that.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I definitely I put my headphones on. Okay, I put
my headphones on, and I'd have my alarm on vibrate,
so when I needed to wake up, my alarm would
vibrate in my pocket and I wake up. That's how
you just gotta know how to get it done, man.
That's that's when you're in the trenches. You gotta know
how to get it done. Man. Yeah, I gotta be honest.

(04:15):
I'm a horse.

Speaker 6 (04:16):
I'm laying down, just laying it like a stack of
hay and just go go take a nap.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
My horse out the.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Front doesn't have any hay or anything comfortable to to
PLoP down on.

Speaker 7 (04:25):
You know, stay up, what's the story with the goats
sit in the stall with the horses.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Is that a thing?

Speaker 1 (04:32):
I don't know anything about that. Yeah, they have.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Big big Lebowski's do that's for sure.

Speaker 7 (04:39):
Well, I do the alpaca thing.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
But Hai, when's the last time you said I hid
the alpaca Halloween night?

Speaker 4 (04:48):
What did you say? Hi?

Speaker 6 (04:50):
Ell? Sam?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
What did he say?

Speaker 6 (04:55):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Hell?

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Update day? By the way, by the way, we have
it up. Let's go live to Uh. I always say
I was gonna talked about update.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
I'm still talking.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
I was. I know I did the update. Man, he
sounded like, you.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Have an update.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
You walked by the outpack on Halloween? Yeah, what were treating?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah? I was.

Speaker 7 (05:25):
Yeah, well I wasn't treating myself, but I went walking
through the neighborhood.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Oh that's kind of creepy.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
So you hold on, did you stop by a house
and get Candyly?

Speaker 7 (05:36):
I was looking for the houses that had the bowls
of candy that just sitting out out front, and.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
And I did walk up.

Speaker 7 (05:45):
And I walked up to one and I had and uh, yeah,
the dad was there. He's like, hey, Bud, I said, hey,
trick or treat?

Speaker 1 (05:51):
And uh, you know, big brown as up.

Speaker 7 (05:58):
He popped out of nowhere.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Too damn old to be taking kids trigger treating. There
was there was one where there was.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
A bunch of trig or treat me something totally different.
There was a wrong part of town, boss.

Speaker 7 (06:13):
There was one driveway with a bunch of adults drinking
and they had games out front.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Hey, but you can't take the kids candy. That's just creepy, bro.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
You asked them if you can sit down with them
and have a pop or two and do what you
do them.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
That's that's like Lee going to chuck e cheese and
playing the balls with that.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
I don't have one having fun.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
There was no kids there.

Speaker 7 (06:39):
It's not like I was standing in line with the kids.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
And it's not like.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
Walking in the same same path they were to get candy.
You were doing the same thing they were, just they
weren't there with them.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
It's so good.

Speaker 6 (06:52):
It was all right.

Speaker 7 (06:53):
It's not like I walked up to the door. It
was on the side. How old are you now, I
don't know, thirty.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Four, dude. I can't do that anymore.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Be I was practicing, you know what, you know what,
we're in ninja out for the least like you.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
To Lee's defense. You know he was expecting. He walked
by the alpacat you have like a little bull that
said take one, and it was like don Julio mini bottles.
And then he passes by and he says, you know what,
if I can't get any love there, I'm gonna go
to a house. And he walked up there and then
the dad was a j off to you.

Speaker 7 (07:27):
He was very nice. I just didn't see him right away.
It wouldn't have was in the bowl.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
What kind of candy we like?

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (07:32):
What was it? U?

Speaker 7 (07:34):
Was it sour patch? Minis like a smaller patch.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
He couldn't afford.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
I asked like, how old you were? Did you think
you were like homeless? Like what exactly happened there?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
There's these days, man, I ain't gonna lie. I see
a couple of them, boy, I'd be like, you either
dumb as hail or your your parents did you wrong?
Because you looked like you about thirty forty years old?
What in the tenth grade? What do you mean you
in the tenth grade? Go shaved your face? Player, You've
got plenty of time for that.

Speaker 7 (08:04):
I did feel weird about it. Now I'm feeling weird.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I didn't feel about it.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Lee, you should. We're trying to shame you to never
do this again. You're taking a little kids candy. It
was the end of the night.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Those there's left it was left over candy rope.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
I even walked up to my house and you asked
for candy, I'd be like, get the hell out.

Speaker 6 (08:21):
I did not.

Speaker 7 (08:22):
I did not walk up to the house and ask you.

Speaker 6 (08:25):
Looking like walking up there? Why didn't Why didn't you
dress his big leabout look?

Speaker 7 (08:33):
I did look like the big label and everything.

Speaker 6 (08:36):
Sunglasses.

Speaker 7 (08:38):
I have what I always have, which are like my
shades that hold up my hair. And uh, I think
I had a what did they call those.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Cobbler pipes?

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (08:48):
That was part of my costume corn cup pipe, corn
pop pipe.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yeah, now that got super way creepy. It got creepy,
cop I know exactly what you're talking about. Like this,
I was looking like Popeye, Popeye right, the pop eyed dip. Hey, man,
that's really creepy, bru. Like, we don't have to do
an intervention with your bro. That don't even sound right
right now, man, Bro, he was walking down the street.

Speaker 7 (09:11):
Like I was grabbing a handful.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
I grabbed one little piece. Why are you out You
don't have a kid trick or treating? Man, what are
you walking out to?

Speaker 7 (09:20):
So like you were saying, Brady, my whole that whole neighborhood.
It's like a parade. It's like the whole we were
going down the middle of the street excuses.

Speaker 6 (09:28):
Fred Rogan told me. Fred Rogan told me they were
fifteen hundred kids came to his house right over there.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
I don't know how.

Speaker 7 (09:34):
I don't know how people had still a candy because
how many people were there. People were busting in.

Speaker 6 (09:38):
Like the news, Like the news, they do that over here.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
They do that. They had like a big Halloween little
dip over here where they close off all the streets
and they decorate the houses and have music playing and
stuff like. And they got people.

Speaker 6 (09:51):
People have made thirty showing up.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
There's a whole bunch of adults out there.

Speaker 7 (09:57):
I went through a hunted house.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
If Lee was smart, you gotta blend in with families.
Like as they're walking up and they're like trick or treat,
you gotta be right there with them, like, hey, how
you don't like your dad? Like I just love it,
like you know, like let me get one of those
I just wish I could have been there.

Speaker 6 (10:10):
The moment when the guy gives lead a salute, like,
what are you doing here creeping yourself?

Speaker 1 (10:16):
If you're rolling up out yourself like you wanted a
kid's trick or treat you, that's a terrible man.

Speaker 6 (10:21):
That was the first thing you could think of.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Terrible.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
Did you have a hard time getting to sleep that
night or you just pass out like a baby?

Speaker 7 (10:28):
Slept like a baby baby with you?

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Zero shame, serious, zero shame.

Speaker 7 (10:36):
I did feel weird about it. I feel worse about
it though I should have said anything.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
I'm glad you you said it because you got that
evil up off of you and out of your heart.
You know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
But you can't well, this is what makes for a listeners,
This is what makes you the big Leabowski.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
Yeah, because your.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
Life is just kind of I don't even know how
to describe it. It's it's like a Chimmy buffet tour,
buffet tours.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
If he would have saw a celebrity like, yeah, I
saw Pamela Anders and she was in a you know,
a sweatsuit, and you know she was given out.

Speaker 6 (11:06):
Okay, I delivered pizza to her, like he delivered pizza
celebrities and all the.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Bill I was like, yeah, you know. I was like, wow,
I used to deliver pizzas to you, you know, and
I get a Snickers.

Speaker 6 (11:18):
I mean, yeah it it never fails with lead to
lat Well.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
I mean, I have so many questions, but when you
delivered pizzas, you strike me as the type to be like,
I'm sorry, but can I use your bathroom? Like as
you're delivering the pizza to someone, like, I can picture
you doing that.

Speaker 7 (11:35):
No, But I wasn't invited in a few times.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
That's weird. I was invited in by le Well.

Speaker 7 (11:42):
There was Super Bowl Sunday and I was a Packers fan.
It was Packers versus the Steelers, and they let me
come in and watch for like a few drive driver too.
And then there was one random people, Yeah, random people.
And then there was one we are in the valley,
we are in the heart of a certain industry, and
I was asked to come in.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Oh wow.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
With long hair.

Speaker 7 (12:07):
They were like messing with me a little bit. It
was it was weird.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Culture speaking that would never happen. I didn't know what
I was say. Hey, hey, hey, buddy, come in our house. Uh.

Speaker 7 (12:23):
Well, I went into the room and no act taking place. No,
the actress was there, and they said, hey, come on over,
say hi, and I was like, no, I gotta go.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
How long ago?

Speaker 4 (12:36):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (12:40):
How long ago was?

Speaker 6 (12:41):
This was at least sitting on the end of the
bed having a martini with Wesley Pipes and he goes,
you know, I got to get back to work.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
So the so the scene was being recorded behind you
while you were sitting on I think the scene had
recently ended.

Speaker 5 (12:57):
Left after man, what would lead you to think that
the scene just ended?

Speaker 6 (13:05):
She was she was because they stopped pulling his hair.

Speaker 7 (13:08):
So normally you would say she was taking off her wardrobe,
but she was putting back on her original wardrobe.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
But she was not quite there was a wardrobe, it
was up or there was something else going on there,
you know, maybe there was clean them on our FLF.
It's a mess. Hey, what's the gospels?

Speaker 6 (13:25):
What's the map here for?

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (13:29):
Now, is Lee chose to leave as soon as he
met the actress?

Speaker 4 (13:37):
Like you think that, like, no, I'm staying.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
Must have been disappointed? Oh man?

Speaker 5 (13:43):
Uh, just.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
She was a lovely lady.

Speaker 6 (13:47):
Okay, that's just tremendous. Well, it is too late.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
You would have been there like an hour earlier. You
might you know, it might have been different to that.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Hair, seen anything else besides the hair.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Lets you know, that might have been the most inappropriate
segment of radio we've done since doing this show man.
Thank you, yeah, thank you appreciate.

Speaker 6 (14:13):
And uh yeah here we are live at the Breeders Cup.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Say something different so we can distance our from this
before we do our read all right, says something good?
Distance us from this.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
A big win. Yeah, Pittsburgh Steelers a four point wins
four point. They're at formerly Hinesfield, normally a puncture stadium,
but they still got that. The Steelers are five and
three somehow, some way. As we discuss it all live
here from the tire rack dot Com studios, tire rack
dot com. We'll help you get there. An unmatched selection,

(14:46):
fast reshipping, free road has a protection and over ten
thousand recommended installers tire rack dot com. The way tire

Speaker 1 (14:52):

Speaker 6 (14:53):
All right, So there is something that is just it
started off slow. People are like, all right, is this
going to pick up any more? And week after week
after week building No, no, no, no, We're talking about
Quinn's wins.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
Oh, that's nice Quinn's wins, all.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
Right, and that is yours live here from Santa Anita
and Austin, Texas here from the tiraq dot com studios.

Speaker 8 (15:21):

Speaker 6 (15:35):
It's Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here Fox
Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you,
LaVar Arrington and myself and Lee to Lap are live

we're in the final stretch to get tickets to horse
racing's biggest moment of the year. The world's best are

That's today, on November third, and tomorrow the fourth. The

(15:58):
countdown begins. Now get tickets today at Breeders' Cup dot Com.
So coming up later on this hour, we're gonna spread
them our picks against the spread in the NFL, so
those will be yours here. Coming up later on, we'll
call it a little over twenty minutes from now here
from the tire raq dot com studios. But right now,
it is something that has taken the nation by storm.

(16:22):
Every single Friday at this time, nobody gives a better
look ahead and preview to the top games in college football.
With a little hint, a little pinch of gambling added
to all of it. It's the next dal trying to
sell this there and touching a little pinch of this,
a dash of that.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
It's a little bit of that wing.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
It's like Bill Raftery kiss ow.

Speaker 6 (16:52):
It is time for the week ten edition of Quinn's Win.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
All right, here we go, that's right, and we start
off in Uscaloosalabama for a big one. The number eight
Crimson Tied are hosting fourteen LSU and this game is
important because remember, folks, ten of the last twelve seasons,
the winner of this game has gone on the play
in the SEC Championship Game and represent the SEC West.

(17:17):
And so it should be a fun one and it
really is highlighted by the quarterback.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
For illishe Jade Daniels.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
He's not a Heisman front runner, but he's somewhere up
there in the mix. He's been phenomenal this year, twenty
five touchdowns, only three interceptions, and five rushing scores to
add two those numbers, and has thrown for over twenty
five hundred yards. He's taken on Alabama defense, It's only
given up around seventeen points per game and can get
after opposing quarterbacks. And this game should be a higher

(17:45):
scoring affairs, so I do like the over. But in
this case, Jade and Daniels we talked about this earlier,
could be the first quarterback since Drew Brees to be
the Nick Saban coach team in back to back years
since Breeze at Pernew when Sable was at Michigan State.
Can you do it for LSU? I don't know, but
I'm gonna go ahead and take the three points. And LSU,
despite their defense being wollful this year and gave me

(18:08):
up a lot of big plays, I think Alabama's gonna
have a hard time stopping Jaden Daniels.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
To Malak Neighbors, they're the playmakers.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
And also on the flip side, this Alabama offensive line
is the worst in the SEC at giving up pressure
on Jalen Millroad. Their quarterback LSU is not great at it,
but I think they can get some pressure. So take
the three points and LSU in what should be a
close game. Next up in the Pac twelve, we've got
the undefeated number five Washington Huskies at eight to zero

(18:37):
taking on Southern Caalents still number twenty despite the two losses,
and this is set up to be well, really a
shootout between two of the top quarterbacks in college football.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
Michael Pennix has been.

Speaker 5 (18:49):
Phenomenal to this year this far, aided by three NFL
caliber type wide receivers, but it's been a run of
really close calls when you look at the margin of
victory so far dating back to September thirtieth versus Arizona
and Oregon obviously a loss there, and then you're looking
at Arizona State was also a close one. So despite
the fact that they have excuse me, obviously undefeated through Oregon,

(19:12):
but despite the fact they've all been close, it's been
a little bit iffy at times. The defense has been
starting to show some weaknesses as well. This sets up
for a great opportunity for USC and Southern cow to
surprise a lot of folks as the offense for Washington
started to go by the wayside, I would say take
the three points and Southern col at the coliseum.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
In this case, this line was at Ford's come down
a point.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
But I think Caleb Williams has what could be a
potential Heisman moment for itself.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Taken on the high scoring Washington Huskies.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
Next, let's go to Bedlam as Oklahoma takes on Oklahoma State,
which will be the final time at least in the
foreseeable future between these two teams.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Remember this matchup dates back to what the nineteen he's
in nineteen ten.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
Every single college football season since nineteen ten has had
Oklahoma Oklahoma State so crazy that it's coming to an end.
By the way Oklahoma's dominated this series. We always talk
about rivalries and so forth. Oklahoma in this series history.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Is ninety one, nineteen and.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
Seven against Oklahoma State, and they've won seven of the
last eight. They win this one as well. Dylan Gabriel
and the Sooners will bounce back. Their defense is going
to have to figure out a way though, of stopping
Allie Gordon the second He's leading the country and rushing
for Oklahoma State just over the past two games alone. Guys,
He's rushed for over five hundred and fifty yards and

(20:40):
six touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
So Mike Gunny's got the Cowboys playing well.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
After that two and two, that slow start, they've ripped
off now full in a row.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
But their identity is really based in the run.

Speaker 5 (20:50):
I think Bret Vnables and Oklahoma loads up to stop
the running game, to stop Ollie Gordon, and they're able
to find a way of not only winning this game,
but covering lay the six points here with Oklahoma. All right,
let's move on to another huge matchup in the SEC,
Missouri taking on Georgia. Remember just a year ago this

(21:10):
is a Taiwan in Columbia Missouri. Georgia had to come
back down from a ten point fourth quarter deficit to
survive against Missou. And this is once again a different
Missouri team, but very very good. Brady Cook's one of
the best quarterbacks in the SEC for Missouri. Cody Schrader
running back is one of the top running backs on
Luther burn the third is one of the best wide

(21:32):
receivers in college football.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
But the different here is gonna be Carson Beck.

Speaker 5 (21:37):
Yes, they don't have Brock Bowers, but we saw last
week connecting with the receiver Dominic Lovet, who happens.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
To be a Missouri transfer. Mind View is.

Speaker 5 (21:45):
Now the top target. With the Bowers being out with
that ankle injury. I think Georgia at home in Athens
takes care of business. You lay the fifteen points. This
line opened at actually fourteen, now up to fifteen, but
you lay the fifth points with Georgia. They are on
a move and on a run to go to the
SEC championship game. Then try to three p for the

(22:05):
first time since Minnesota did it back in the early
nineteen hundreds. And finally the matchup that I'm here for
in Austin, Texas, Number seven Texas takes on K State,
who's sitting right now at number twenty three.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
And this will be an interesting one because remember Quinn
Viewers is out.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
It'll be Bleak Murphy. They're a backup who's taking on
a K State team that's also starting to kind of
find its rhythm. It's a five way tie, by the way,
on top of the Big Twelve, So this is a
quasi elimination game amongst the Big twelve potential contenders for
the Big Twelve championship.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Whin it's all said done, Murphy.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
Last week and has first start for Texas through about
forty two percent of his passes.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
Behind the line of scrimmage. However, he did make.

Speaker 5 (22:46):
Some big plays down the field with a couple of
mistakes that have an interception, that have a fumble that
was lost. So k State is kind of poised to
potentially keep this one close, keep this one inside the number.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
Will Howard takes care of the football.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
You got get into the ward in the backfield, and
then Philip Brooks on the outside that can make some
place for him.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
This is one of the more.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
Sound, solid defensive teams you'll find that Chris Climban's had
for in quite some time. So I like Texas to win,
but I think you can take Case State and.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
The four points. And that's it for this week's edition
of Wins Wins.

Speaker 6 (23:17):
So I'm talking about applause.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Sound is so good he sounded recorded.

Speaker 6 (23:23):
Yeah, God, dang, dude.

Speaker 5 (23:26):
You know what's crazy is I could have picked like
there are so many other good games, Like I'm fascinated
to see what happens with Oregon State and Colorado. That's
late tomorrow night. You've got Penn State taken on Maryland,
which I think Penn State rolls takes care of business.
I would lay the nine points there, but I mean
Notre Dame Clemson. That line looks fishy. Clemson's getting three

(23:48):
at home. I thought that number might be a little
bit bigger the th way Clemson's looked. There's just there's
a lot of really really good games on this week,
and jonas you obviously touched on it, it should be
a lot of fun.

Speaker 6 (24:00):
WI one nineteen and seven. Is Oklahoma's record against Oklahoma State?
Is that that shocks me?

Speaker 5 (24:09):
Well, it shocks you because like everyone makes a big
deal about Bedlman Roberies and you see that, you're like, oh,
And here's what I'll always say is rivalries are funny
because it's usually.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
Never like hey, it's back and forth every other year.

Speaker 5 (24:24):
It's usually like one team goes on a run and
then the other team goes on a run, and the
other team goes on a run.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Like it's pretty standard.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
That Like, that's how rivalries work is one team gets
the best of another team for a period of time.
They're never both really really good at the same time,
or it's hard to be and if they are, usually
still one team just has their number.

Speaker 6 (24:44):
Now I know you a touched obviously on the Washington
USC game should be a good one at the Coliseum,
USC getting the three points. You like USC there. What
you probably wouldn't like if USC schedule next year. The
Big Ten schedule has come out for USC his first
year in the conference, and not great. Not great for

(25:05):
the USC Trojans, who are going to open up the
year against LSU in Las Vegas. They're also going to
be at Michigan. They've got Penn State at home. They're
gonna be you know, they've got the at Washington game.
They finish up with Notre Dame, but you're also gonna
get Wisconsin, they're at Minnesota. Like it feels like they
could be up against it next year as well too,

(25:26):
And we've talked about it. The USC this year could
could finish seven and five if they lose this game
against Washington. It feels like we could go down kind
of a dark path for Lincoln Riley and company there
as he finishes up his last season with the USA.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
I keep trying to tell you all, if the NFL
comes knocking and a team wants to pair him with
Caleb Williams, could make a lot of sense.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
It's the right time to kind of jump shippy. As
good as that contract is that he signed.

Speaker 5 (25:51):
And all that stuff, I might like living in southern California,
I think there's gonna be a lot of people who
wanted to make staff changes, which he might not want
to do and also concerned about Like Caleb, I'll put
it this way, I was watching some of his tape
last night. Dude, he's incredible. He like, I don't care
who ends up winning the Heisman this year. If it's

(26:13):
not him, he should win it. Like he is the
best player in college football. And it's no disrespect to
Marvin Harrison Junior. It's no disrespect anyone else because Marvin
is the best wide receiver and he's also is going
to be in New York and up for it. When
you watch Caleb Williams, it is a different experience. That
dude does things and is so beyond like the college

(26:34):
level what you see.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
It's incredible And it's.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
No disrespect to the other quarterbacks who are part of
the conversation.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
But some of these guys have been playing for six years.

Speaker 5 (26:44):
That's not the case for Kayleb Williams, Like he's three
years removed now like he's he's draft eligible. Some of
these guys are like they should be in the league
for two years, like, which makes it even more incredible
to see. To me how much he separates himself from
everyone else with the way they look at how they play.

Speaker 6 (27:00):
Better prospect than Trevor Lawrence.

Speaker 5 (27:03):
Man I would I'm kind of leaning towards it. Yes,
I'm telling you he does some of the most freaky
things that I just there's not many guys who can
do that with their body, the way he can get
out of get out of stuff. I mean, I think
I watched him last night Pirouet twice last week versus Cow,

(27:25):
and I'm like, I don't Like, these are drills that
like you'd see quarterback coaches do, and you're like, when
does this ever apply, because you're most guys are sacked
or most guys are getting rid of the football before
you get to that point or after the first Pirouett
like he did it twice and like puts dudes in blenders,
I mean, breaking ankles, breaks tackles and then then throws

(27:45):
a ball on the run, or or like the way
he dances through the pocket. It's just it's so unique.
I am He's one of the most fascinating prospects. I
cannot wait to see play at the next level. Yeah,
because all the stuff you see at college is incredible.
I just I don't know how when he gets to
the next level, Like you got to kind of play

(28:07):
from the pocket more, and he can definitely do that,
but it seems like he gets a lot more comfortable
he's outside the pocket. But the hard thing is so
many teams play like off zone coverage and they'll rush
through or maybe they'll just rush four that they almost
you know, they're almost like baiting him just to stay
in the pocket and be patient, and sometimes it's hard

(28:28):
to do because you know, they either get pressure or
he gets you know, he wants to flush out and
get outside. So you just you don't know at the
NFL level how that's going to translate. But man, he
is special. He is special special.

Speaker 6 (28:39):
I was watching the USC Arizona game and I was
texting with my sister fiance and his buddy Keith who
played quarterback at Arizona, Keith Smith, And there was a
play Caleb Williams made in that game where it was
an incompletion, but I think it was on a two
point conversion and he threw across his body in the
end zone and the receiver dropped it. But the throw

(29:01):
is on the money, and I'm just like even that
right there, Like that's gonna go down as an incompletion.
But how many guys are making that throw like at
any level? And they were both saying, like he's he's ridiculous,
Like he's he's a borderline cheat code for USC and
gives him a chance every single week.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
It's crazy. Every week, it's ridiculous, it really is.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
They should be undefeated. Then that's just my opinion.

Speaker 6 (29:26):
Talked to him, Alex Grinch, talk to your buddy.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I think he's an outscore. If you're saying he's the
greatest quarterback prospect.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
Of all time, have you watched him? He does, That's
what he did last week. They were down fourteen points.
He brought it back to win that thing. Be undefeated.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
If you're going to be in the conversation, you can't
compare him to Trevor Lawrence. Trevor Lawrence is one way
too much. Well that's my bottom line. Can you smell
what I'm cooking?

Speaker 6 (29:59):
It's Bellet you know, I think I'm going delirious right,
that's all right. Listen, I think the temperature is getting
to me. So coming up next here, it is a
Friday traditionary the football season. We're gonna spread them our
picks against the spread right here on FSR.

this one. I could get with this one.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
What the hell are you doing? Jonas?

Speaker 6 (31:46):
Just sounds like this is the type of lyrics that
would go with this.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
You kind of ruined it. I was really I was
digging it. Sorry, Jonah.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
This is from Mission Impossible, is it?

Speaker 1 (31:58):
I felt like it was like Iron Man that first.

Speaker 6 (32:01):
Oh, this is muse music. Good band, got good music.

Speaker 4 (32:05):
That's like a nice compliment, Jonas.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
First listen, it made me want to kick one of
these turf walls down. Damn right.

Speaker 6 (32:12):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, Slavar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
here coming up top of next hour a little over
we'll call it ten minutes from now from the Tirak
dot com studios. You're gonna hear some honest thoughts from
you know, some people in the NFL about somebody who
was once in.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Their building not that long ago.

Speaker 6 (32:32):
So we will get into that for you again, coming
up here a little over ten from now. Now, before

Speaker 8 (32:54):
Five lines, not those kind of lines. Five five spreads.
Time for picks against the spread?

Speaker 6 (33:04):
All right, Lee, how much should I win? By the
last night?

Speaker 1 (33:08):
How did you guys do last night? You had no idea?

Speaker 6 (33:11):
All the overhunders.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Sure I don't have it.

Speaker 6 (33:14):
I don't have them in front of in front of
me today there in the bar they play. He dropped
him in front of the Alpaca.

Speaker 7 (33:24):
I was taking out with John almost last night, so
I wow the spread?

Speaker 6 (33:33):
How much did I win by last weekly?

Speaker 1 (33:36):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (33:36):
Let me tell you. We'll go game by game and
I'll let you know here. Jonahs, So last week we
had Rams and Cowboys. Jonas LeVar, you guys correct that
Dallas would take it to the Rams. Forty three to
twenty was the end of that game. We went onto
the Eagles at Commanders where we had to push line
was a seven points favorite for the Eagles. Of course,
they did win thirty eight to thirty one, so push there.

(33:59):
I think Joe just took Washington. Brady LeVar, you guys
so Philly, but it doesn't matter. We had Jags at Steelers.
Everyone was wrong. You guys were all bullish on the Steelers.
Jags up put their win streak to five. They took
that win onto Bengals at Niners. Uh, you guys all
correctly picked Cincinnati. They won that game thirty one seventeen.
And you guys all correctly also predicted the Chargers would

(34:21):
beat the Bears on Sunday night, everybody, Jonas and LaVar,
you guys tied three one in one. Brady two two
and one but LaVar, you still maintained a healthy lead here.
Six game leads.

Speaker 6 (34:34):
So six game leads to diminish starting this week, I
have every week.

Speaker 5 (34:41):
I only missed five last week, and you got somehow
three of the five that I mixed.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
That's how I picked these games. Thanktually make it hard.

Speaker 7 (34:54):
So on the week nine, let's kick it off.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
Chiefs.

Speaker 7 (34:58):
Hell yeah, an NFL Horses, let's do it.

Speaker 6 (35:02):
We are next hour. There's been some some adjustments here
due to two circumstances that we.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
Will yeah, yeah, don't worry about it. We're gonna do
league right here.

Speaker 7 (35:16):
So as you heard it, Dolphins at Chiefs game and Frankfurt.
Chiefs are two and a half or excuse me, two
point favorites versus the Dolphins.

Speaker 6 (35:24):
I'll take Miami. I don't like the travel idea by
the Chiefs. I tell you I'm money lining Miami.

Speaker 5 (35:33):
You don't you get yet?

Speaker 1 (35:36):
You care? They're gonna spank them. They want to spank
the Chiefs. What do you take?

Speaker 4 (35:40):
Two points here?

Speaker 7 (35:42):
All right, guys, we got the Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
Next one up, Vikings and Falcons.

Speaker 7 (35:47):
This is an interesting one, you guys. Falcons are four
point favorites at home.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
I guess who gets the Vikings.

Speaker 6 (35:54):
This is the most difficult game all weekend.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
I'm laying the points.

Speaker 5 (35:58):
By the way, it opened three and a half or
two on a little bit. I'll take four points in Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
I'm with Brady.

Speaker 6 (36:07):
I just god, man, why'd you pick that one?

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (36:11):
What a j off?

Speaker 1 (36:12):
That's right, I'm laying the points.

Speaker 6 (36:15):
So you taking?

Speaker 7 (36:16):
I don't know, Taylor Handikey, who are you taking?

Speaker 1 (36:20):
What does that mean? I'm laying the point, by the way.
Do you see two points? Four points? Is the spirit?

Speaker 5 (36:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (36:26):
You know the falcon?

Speaker 6 (36:27):
The falcons?

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Yeah, I'm taking a falcon.

Speaker 6 (36:28):
Do you see Taylor Heineke's Halloween costume?

Speaker 3 (36:31):
No?

Speaker 6 (36:31):
What his girlfriend? He was dressed as a deer and
she had headlights on deer in headlights.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
I put that one together?

Speaker 6 (36:41):
Yeah yeah, don't what else together?

Speaker 1 (36:45):
All right? Next one up?

Speaker 3 (36:46):
Cold said Panthers.

Speaker 7 (36:47):
This is the only game this week where the road
team is the favorite, where the Colts are two and
a half point favorites versus the Panthers.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
I'll take the Panthers. I'll take the two and a
half points.

Speaker 6 (36:58):
Frank Raich revenge Colts will cover. Yeah, I'll take Indy here.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
Next up, Cowboys and Eagles.

Speaker 7 (37:07):
Eagles three point favorites at home.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Interesting, Eagles will cover.

Speaker 6 (37:12):
I'll take Dallas getting three.

Speaker 4 (37:15):
I'll lay the three of Philly.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
Last one, Bills and Bengals.

Speaker 7 (37:21):
Sunday Night football, Bengals two point favorites at home, Sincy.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
I'll take the Bills of the two points.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
The Bills aren't the favorites about to No Bengals ares
are two. Bengals will cover.

Speaker 7 (37:42):
They've been learned. Baby, I'm taking all of ours picks
from going forward.

Speaker 4 (37:49):
They've been learned.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Update.

Speaker 4 (37:51):
You know you're not gonna pick is any candy for
little kids next year? At hell?

Speaker 1 (37:54):
Yeah? Updates, Sam? You never know.

Speaker 7 (37:59):
I might be a fight next year, who knows.

Speaker 6 (38:02):
Listen, we're coming up on five am Pacific time. These
horses gotta.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
Wake their asses.

Speaker 6 (38:06):
It's too cold, man, get your lazy asses up. You
gotta race.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
I hope they got them them horses like like garbed
up with some warm, warm blankets and capes and stuff
like we've done some heaters.

Speaker 6 (38:19):
Are we done?

Speaker 1 (38:20):
Are we done?

Speaker 6 (38:22):
You ain't do nothing, You ain't gonna be nothing, just
like your deady wake up horses lazy ass.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
