One more time, Hey, why was Steph Curry crying when
(01:30):
Draymond Green got kicked out of the game last night?
Becaicking on him?
Speaker 4 (01:35):
He wasn't crying.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
I think he was.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Oh, he was wiping his eye.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
It's a little odd, but what's the surprise. Draymond Green
got ejected from a game four minutes in four minutes, yeah,
like four minutes in. Boy, there there's a just a
stunning development.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
Good. An idea for an NBA basketball show is Mike
up Draymond and let's hear like every signal time he
gets ejected. What he said, Well they somebody I would
love to know exactly what it was said, Well, somebody.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Did some lip reading last night. Had his parting shot
to the official was well the acronym is b A
n oh. Okay, so you can't, uh you can? Yeah,
you probably lip read for yourself. Yeah, the first one,
the second one. I'm not going to.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
Absolute refusal. But but and and and Beverly Hills. I'm sorry,
didn't they make a movie about I don't know, Karate
and Beverly Hills. I'm not quite sure.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
But you put on the black uniform and and you know,
you like look like Shinobi. Maybe could be by the way.
Some guy wrote, have you ever found yourself saying that?
Me saying it? Yeah, have you ever found yourself saying
that to somebody? I'm still here and I.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Would be.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
I would be here by the way. Some guy wrote
in his name's Walt, he needs to pick a Major
League Baseball team, he said, for what it's worth, I'm
a Browns fan, so I'm used to the suffering. Anybody
got any ideas on which MLB team he should root for?
Speaker 4 (03:15):
I mean I would tell him the root for the
team that we used to root for in Cleveland, but
they changed their names, so you know, now the name's
kind of odd.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I'm telling the root for the Guardians.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
It just doesn't. It's not the same.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
The gargoy, the logo is not the same.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
You know, these aren't the same. It's like the oh,
the Guardians, it's the Guardians, you know, Guardians in the Night. Then,
I just it doesn't. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Major League would have felt a lot different watching that. Yeah,
it just it wouldn't. I don't know, like there's something
about it just it doesn't seem the same. So like
just and you know, some other teams are look LeVar
I know you longtime Pittsburgh Pirate fan. You know the
Pirates are possibility. But can a Cleveland guy root for
a Nationals fan?
Speaker 4 (04:01):
No, that's that's off. You don't want to root for
a Pittsburgh team if you're a Cleveland Yeah, I'm just
telling you right now.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
What about the Reds?
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Now the Reds? That would be a consideration. I don't
know though, I mean the same thing though. You're at
the Battle of Ohio in most sports where you align
between Cleveland and Cincinnati.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
So football, baseball, I don't know, see, But our dilemma
as Pittsburghs are we don't have a basketball team.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
No, you don't.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
So it's kind of like who do we Who do
you root for as a basketball team When you're from Pittsburgh, we're.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
For a p A team and you're not rooting for Philly.
I never root for Phillies. Yeah really no, No, that's.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
Just technically Cleveland's closer.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Anyway, if we're being honest, Philly is worse than Ohio
to a Pittsburgh We we dislike Philly more than we
dislike Ohio. Yeah, we come together as Pennsylvanians to hate Ohio.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
D Yeah, we do. We do hate Ohio together, but
that just doesn't mean we like each other though.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
You know what's interesting, And I don't know why this
thought dawned on me. I think it was the last
time I was in California. I like, forget sometimes Sacramento
has a professional sports team. Yeah, it doesn't make any
sense like it. I don't know why that's not the
franchise that never gets disgusted and potentially moving if.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
They're gonna be good, their basketball day is pretty good.
I got some talent, you know, yeah, a little. There's
nothing there though, the Aaron Fox. I've never been to
Sacramento in there, but I hear there's not a hole
like going on in and around those parts.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
And because it's the capital doesn't mean that e really anything.
And also, you know, I mean Columbus is the capitol
of Ohio. It doesn't host an NBA team.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
I feel like Tim Donahey was probably responsible for, you know,
their lack of.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
Is it Sacramento even in the playoffs right now? They're
in the plan. Uh, they're the plan right now.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Harrisburg is the capital of PA exactly right, and they
got a minor league baseball team, but that's you know.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
No, Sacramento is a game out of the six seed,
but right now, yeah, they are in the play and
they would get the Lakers in the first round, Like
that could be a bad matchup for the Lakers in
the plan.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Are you sure that's it? Is there four teams?
Speaker 3 (06:24):
Yeah, the playoff so Phoenix, Phoenix seven, the Lakers, and
Golden State Old State.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Yeah, Phoenix, Sacramento, Lakers, which is a hell of.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
A play in group of teams A listers. I mean,
nothing beats the n season Tournament, I'll tell you that
because I mean that just you know, seems like the
best idea in the world. Now looking back on it,
just just a brilliant job by the NBA to to
do something everybody's form.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Glad of factors into as well the postseason, right, Like
what they did in the end season that matters, Right,
there's there's like some something that plays a role.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yeah, what a waste of time?
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Could you imatches solely focusing on the NBA? Like if
that was your job, Like I'm an NBA, I'll be like, oh,
this is just not fun.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Yeah, at some point you just got to be honest
about it. Like there's there's a lot of it that,
like people get worked up about that. Just don't it's
not interesting. And then like a lot of the why
not though, it's just too there's too much drama. It's
too much like you know, the load management stuff. People.
It just doesn't sit well with people. Like there's just
you know, the n season tournament like it just a
(07:30):
lot of it feels really gimmicky until you get to
the playoffs and then things ratchet up a little bit
and then it's fun. But even in the playoffs, because
it's a seven game series, there's times where like a
team will be down.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
It's it's not that for me, it just doesn't feel
as physical. The game's too spread out. It feels like
it's like isolation basketball. It doesn't feel like what it
used to feel like, where you know, guys were going
to the rim, guys were you know, just it was
a different style of play.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Man is a man be going to that room? Bull? Oh,
Anthony Edwards, he's fine, he goes after it dies on. Yeah,
he gets.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
You. As a defensive player should be able to recognize
there's not as much physicality as there used to be.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
No, I agree that's as funny because I may alluded
to a Coming into the show, Rob Parker said he
thinks that Caitlyn Clark could play in the NBA, and
he said, just figure out a way to get her
to run off of some some picks and some screens.
There's so much open space is as long as you
can shoot. I mean, if she can handle this, the
switching of the weight of the ball, I mean, why
(08:46):
couldn't she. I mean, it'd be an interesting shake up.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
It's kind of a big deal.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
It be an interesting shake up if Kitlyn Clark could play.
I mean the Big Three offered her some money to
come play. I mean, that's against dudes, isn't it. They
don't have a woman, they don't have a Leomen's Big Three.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
I mean, I'm not quite sure Rob was able to
keep a straight face while giving that take. I don't know,
like that's that seems like one of those ones where
he puts it together and then goes, well, here goes
nothing and just kind of throws it on the air
and then.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
We uh, if Lebron wasn't so old, would you have
the argument and the discussion point if Lebron is playing
in the league that actually could support a Caitlin Clark
making it in that league. How can you say, how
can you have a goat conversation? Because no girl would
be able to play woman excuse me, no woman would
(09:36):
be able to play in in the in the nineties.
You're not making it in the nineties. It's too physical,
just way too physical. The physicality of basketball is not
there in today's NBA. There is a lot of kind
of going through the motions. There is a lot of
just you know, dribble to half court, pull up shoot.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Yeah, but you had designated shooters like you had guys
like him, Legler, Steve Kerr. They weren't driving to the basket. Craig,
Mark Price, sa, dude.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
I mean, if you got somebody who can penetrate a
defense and get deep on in there, like get real
deep into the paint and challenge the rim, there's going
to be someone open spotting up.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
That That was that That was nineties basketball. That was
how it worked.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
You had somebody that was a slasher and they either
going to the rim or they're going to kick it
out to the guy that's open, and all the open
god had to do was make the shot. I mean,
what else did you see, Craig Craig Hodges do honestly,
like no, no, no shape. But I'm just saying, what
else did you see Craig Hodges do other than spot
(10:46):
up and shoot.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Win the three point contest? I think you want like
two or three times. I'm not mistaken.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
So if she was a designated shooter, why would that
be so outlandish to think that she could play in
the NBA? I mean, at a glance, it sounds ridiculous
to say it, but in the end, she is the
greatest college basketball player to ever play, and it's been
based upon her ability to really shoot from anywhere on
the court, So why would that be outlandish?
Speaker 4 (11:13):
I was gonna ask this question, like, is she the
greatest ever to play? Just because she has the scoring title?
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I mean, I think and I wouldn't say that, but.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Because Lebron's gonna has a scoring title and people still
view Michael Jordan better, some people still view Kobe Bryant
is better. I mean depends on who you ask with all.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
That, Like, its given the same amount of time in
college though, like it's like you have a you have
a set amount of time that you can get to
the record.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
Yeah, but much like we kind of pointed out how
the game has changed over time because people want to
compare Kaitlyn Clark's you know, records to Pete Marivitch. Right,
they didn't have a three point line, they didn't have
a shot clock. He did in three years, like the
amount of points he had. So not not to say
it's it's apples to apples because it's a you know,
a male to a female. But there already have been
(12:06):
those changes.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Rob Parker is out there saying that she could play
in the NBA, then why not compare them?
Speaker 4 (12:15):
I personally am not really trying to compare off that
that's fair. I can't really. I mean, Rob Parker also
doesn't look at Tom Brady as the you know, greatest quarterback.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
And he's the look east of all time.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Stop. So I can't respond to everything Rob Parker thinks.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
I mean, I tell you this right now, and I
hope he hears this. If there's one thing I hate,
it's Rob Parker, that screw.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
I'm still trying to get some of this perch. He
told me he would send some, but then I think
he was trying to give me an apple, Pam or
something he wants. You can't really hook up a coworker
with you.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
You want your your information, He's got to make that.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
The worst is like, well, I was back there one
time when I was in the studio because he's got
like those patches or whatever on there's you like the branding. Yeah,
I sorted to peel that off because I noticed it
was starting to fall off. I was like, oh, yeah,
ability it stays off.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
It's a mall Kiosk special. He goes to the key
the Kiosk, get the mall and he gets them patched
on and then slings them for triple the price. That's
Rob Parker and his by the way, ordering from him
if you work here. The four ninety five shipping and
handling is him going up to the fourth floor, pulling
it out of a cardboard box and bringing it down
(13:32):
the elevator. That's what four ninety five is. And then
didn't even bother wrapping it, just handed me the shirt
and said did you just get this from upstairs? Yeah?
I'm like, no, why'd I pay four ninety five shipping
and handling? Well, I handed it to you, didn't. I
I pike five dollars, But I could just grab it
from the box upstairs.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
You just go give Rob five dollars.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
It's like, all right, here it is.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
That's that's what you get charged for. The shipping and
hand of conversation.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
With right, It's just like you'll figure out a way
all the time. So there it is. There's there's our cover. Clark.
Does she take the five million or no? Yes or no?
Speaker 4 (14:11):
I don't think so no, because I mean, one would
you think she would have chase championships in the w
NBA if she could.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
I mean, I feel like she can do both. But
it turns into a spectacle if she wants.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
I mean, I mean, if you can hoop into Big
three and ball out and then go be a baller
in the w n b A, why would that be expected.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
To that point? Don't you feel like it's it's becoming
something where like, oh, now we're just offering her money
because we feel like she's gonna draw attention, she's gonna
bring viewership. You know. It's like there's like, is there
legitimacy behind long term her playing in it or is
it more of just about the early on drawing attention
to the Big three and they kind of see them
(14:54):
where it goes.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
I think you got to see where it goes. But
if you're going to invest in something and go big
with it, that's pretty big. I mean, if you think
about it, who is hotter in the sport of basketball
than Caitlyn Clark And.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
To that point right now in March who in sports? Well?
Show hey, show Hey? But who else? But who else?
Speaker 4 (15:17):
That's probably not why you want to be hot.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
I mean, that's a little infamy there, but I know
it shouldn't necessarily be. But it's my.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
Only question is if they lose right in their next
round match a versus Colorado, which I think they should win,
but if they were to lose, how much hype is
there still around it? I mean, I'm still gonna watch
because I think Notre Dame is gonna be Oregon State
and they'll have a shot. They'll probably have to play
South Carolina to get to the finals. But like it's
(15:44):
I don't know. I look at it and I just
I wonder how much attention will there still.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
Be a She's gotten so much attention on the sport
of women's basketball.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
It has been ridiculous. Yeah, I mean it's ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
So I mean, if you're going to offer her five
million dollars to come play ten weeks max. Nine weeks,
you come up short. Eight weeks is the regular season,
and you can do that, and you're gonna and I
guess on average what what WNBA players the highest paid?
They make what like one hundred grand a year or
(16:18):
something like that.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
It was like three hundred okay.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Three hundred grand. Even if it's three hundred grand, you
get five million to go play salary.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
I don't know what they can make an endorsements.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
But what did you think she's still going to make
those an endorsements anyway?
Speaker 4 (16:33):
I don't know. I don't know if the partnerships of
the Big three are as big as the WNBA.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
Yeah, but what I'm saying is she's still going to
get the WNBA endorsements anyway.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
Well, you're you're assuming she's playing both.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
I would assume that if she did it, she would
do both. I don't think that she would choose one
over the other.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
They might the Big three might be saying they're making
your choose one or the other because otherwise you don't
have exclusivity.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
I think I think ice Q came out and that
she could do both and his Innerny he did an
interview with McAfee. I think he said that that she
you saw it to Eddie? Yeah, yeah, yeah, So I
would do both. I mean I five a million dollars
and that's you're not coming close to that in the
w n b A in a year.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
She could do both all she wants. I'm not watching either,
so have fun. Let you know, Wow, it's not going on,
shots fired. I don't have to tell you it's cold blood.
There's just a lot of cold blood, cold blood, cold
There's just there. There's a lot going on. And I
don't have time to watch Caitlin Clark in the Big Three,
all right, I just ANDVI it's Joe Clark. That's different. Yeah,
(17:37):
you playing basketball, don't you like? We'll go ahead and jump,
but you know, my my ha is falling. It didn't
Portnoy offer a ten millionly like Dave Dave Portnoy offer
ten stool at the intramural. Yeah that one, that's the one.
Ten million dollars to play that too, say, because I
(18:00):
would choose that, and I would choose that over there. Hell, yes,
you would dominate.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
But I would make them commit to like three four years,
like you got to give me a four year, five
year deal ten million or more and then just bail.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
Why not?
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Why not quick forty million?
Speaker 1 (18:16):
I don't give a damn at that point? Why not
WNBA please kick rocks ten million a year? Come on, man, Yeah,
well we'll see for you Portnoy.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
Yeah, we'll see what happens. It is Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you coming up next here
though from the tiraq dot com studios, We're going to
tell you about how there could be a major change
involving not one, not two, but three levels of football,
and that's yours here on FSR.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific

(19:23):

We've all used different tools. Listen to Unbreakable with Jay
Glazer and Mental Wealth podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple
Podcasts or wherever you get podcasts.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Two Pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up in about twenty minutes from now from the Tireraq
dot com studios. Somebody is going to be given an award.
They deserve the award because they don't get enough respect.
We'll explain who that is coming up here again twenty
minutes from now on FSR. So we've talked about the
new kick off rules in the NFL, what they're going
(20:03):
to do to try and save the kickoff the XFL
say it type, Well, there's you know that. But the
thought is does this also need to apply to college football?
Does it need to apply to the high school level?
Is any necessary thing when it comes to this new kickoff?
If they're trying to be safer about things, does this
(20:25):
mean that they should also apply this to all levels
of football? If they're trying to do it at the
NFL level, doesn't make sense.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
I mean, it's I don't know if it makes as
much sense, in part because the kicking at at least
the high school level is nowhere close to what it
is at the NFL level. So as far as getting returns,
I would think for the most part, you're going to
get returns and you're gonna accomplish that portion of it.
(20:55):
If this is purely a move to make sure players
understand what they're going to be asked to do at
the next levels, I could see maybe how they'd want
to have them be in alignment with the formations of it.
But I don't know. I feel like it's going to
be hard. I mean, you're gonna have to go through
with the officials, all the associations and the different states
(21:17):
for all of this. You know, at what point do
you stop? I mean, we have eleven on eleven football
in some places there's what's seven man like in smaller
places where they don't have as many kids. How do
you apply it? I mean, there's just there's a lot
of questions that kind of go around, like where do
you stop it? I mean, there's kickoffs even in but
junior high. So are we going to teach it? Then?
(21:40):
Are we going to teach it there? Like, what point
do you believe it's in the best interest for safety
and for making sure these players are prepared for the
NFL one day, which point zero one percent or whatever
of kids playing in high school get to go. So,
I mean, I guess, how how important is that maybe
be because you have such a fuel amount that go
(22:01):
from high school to college to college to pro Maybe
you say college is where a little makes maybe more
sense to do it.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
I would say for continuity purposes, maybe college, but that
would probably be about it. Maybe college, But again, on average,
most college college kickers are kicking the ball out at
the end zone as well as touchbacks in college pretty
much as well. So I'm with Q on the first
(22:32):
the thing he said yesterday, Just move them back, move it,
move the te back.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Here's the other point, by the way, one point six
percent of NCAA players college players go to the NFL.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
So does it need to be I said, you have
a better chance of getting hit by lightning or when
in the lottery than to make it into the NFL. Really,
that's what they say. So they say statistically speaking, look
at you guys, that's crazy. One point six percent. Geez,
that's crazy, man. But if you think about it, thirty
(23:07):
two teams, their rosters are already pretty much made up.
How many dudes do you think come out of college
and get onto uh an active roster?
Speaker 4 (23:18):
Well, I mean, and that's not even like getting a
credited you know, or vest excuse me, Yeah, we have
to do three seasons. So I think that this stats
showing point zero two three percent are those that go
from high school to college to become draft eligible, so
not even necessarily make a roster, but draft eligible. It's
(23:41):
zero point oh two percent.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
That's why when I hear like if somebody you know
will mock like, because there was this thing years ago
where Brian Scalabrini played like a bunch of like, yeah,
Brian Scalabrini played for the Nets, He played for the Celtics,
he was on the championship team from eight and he's
an analyst now he's actually yeah, he's great. Yeah, And
he played a bunch of guys who were who thought
(24:04):
they could beat him because he was looked at as
sort of a scrub NBA player, and he completely wiped
the floor with them, like he dominated them. And you
see that, and then you put into perspective the numbers
that you just laid out and the percentages of people
that go from that that actually make it to the NFL.
When when we get like when people will take shots
(24:24):
at a player for struggling in the NFL or a
guy who comes on.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Bus, it's just the funniest thing in the world when
you hear somebody call one of us a bus.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Do you understand how difficult it is to get to
that level, Like what you have to go through, the
sacrifices and everything to even get a sniff, let alone
be a starter at some point in your career, let
alone get any playing time or be a first round
Like I look at that and I go, how do
(24:54):
how does has it lost on people's mind when you
when you put those numbers in comparison to some of
the criticism comes along with it.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
Because they most likely, at no point in their life
have ever actually achieved or had to be put in
that high level scenario in a physical sense at any
point in time. I mean, and that's why I get like, look,
I'm in the media. I don't talk about busts and
all that, because I understand going through the process, like
(25:21):
how hard it is, like every point of it. But
you get a lot of radio pundits in people who
use that vernacular and use those phrases because they've never
come close and if they are in and now they're
doing it for whatever reason is to make headlines or
to talk about it in that sense, when anyone who's
been a part of the process understands there's a lot
(25:42):
that goes into it. But we're kind of veering way
off the topic.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Yeah, it's probably a better discussion.
Speaker 4 (25:49):
Yeah, I mean it is interesting though, because the NFL
when they make policy change, they make rule changes, I
wonder how much do they take into account the transition
from college to the NFL or high school or college
to the NFL in the sense of how they're teaching
the game of football, Like the decisions they make ultimately
(26:09):
could trickle down to impact a huge massive coaches and
players and officials even at the high school level, as
far as what they want to adopt, how they want
to teach it. So that's one of the reasons why
I keep going back to just you could have moved
it back, you didn't need to take this drastic change
to the formation, to the land the landing zone, whatever
(26:30):
that else you want to call it. You just move
to back ten yards, all right, Let's see if guys
will still be able to kick it out of the
end zone consistently. Let's see if guys will still want
to take a touch back instead. If you moved to
back ten yards, it would probably change the dynamic of that.
If you want to say, what was in a safe play?
Now we're getting more kickoff returns? Like okay, and I
(26:51):
guess you could change the formation again. But if you
really wanted more returns, just could just move the kickoff back.
Not that big of a deal.
Speaker 3 (26:59):
I don't get that. Why is it one foot in
bounds as a catch in college? But you need to
at the NFL level? Why can't they change that?
Speaker 5 (27:07):
What?
Speaker 4 (27:07):
Like?
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Like you have them both be the same.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
It'd be a lot easier to officiate, woun't it.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Yeah, Like I just I look at it and I go,
why is it? Like that's got to be? And I
know it just well you just figured out. You adjust
when you get to the next level. But if you
played you know, three four years and well that was
a catch if I got You know.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Why are the hashes different?
Speaker 3 (27:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (27:26):
Yeah, that's that's the biggest one, right there is the
hash marks. That's the big one.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
You think being a kicker in college is more difficult
than the NFL because of the hash marks. Some of
those angles weird A pain in the ass. Yeah, I
wonder if I keep the field open, though, I wonder
if the ball is more difficult to kick as well too,
in college as opposed to the NFL. A little different,
balls a little different.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
I still got the kicking ball though, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
They do. They foul them down, don't they. They key
them up?
Speaker 4 (27:57):
Yeah, and those things look all they're like bloated in
the and they try to make them look like rugby balls.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
What they do those up? They take their keys out
and the carving up the damn quarterbacks did it?
Speaker 4 (28:08):
They basically go find a bunch of the players x'es
and they have them wait outside the equipment room. They
just go ahead, look, guys, they didn't they didn't mean it,
but could you help us out? And brushing in these
balls is hilarious? But what do you mean? Girlfriends? Quarterbacks
key in the cars key and the footballs.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Our quarterbacks do that too. They key up the ball,
they're rough them up a little bit.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
We don't key them up. We brush them in. You
know what we do is we go over to the
baseball field. We steal some of their pitching mound. That
mud you put that, you cake it all over the
top of it, and then you take a brush and
you brush that in. And that you look off that
like red glossy fitness that you see when you buy
(28:55):
those football You gotta get all that stuff off and
then that little that dirt and then like the mixture
of it kind of it gives it just enough of
like a nice tint color and tackiness. That's what you're
looking for, Yeah, I look for to tack Yeah, it
feel sticky.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
Otherwise that bad boy be slick like a.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
Wet bar soap man, like a wet bar of Irish
spring soap.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
You don't want to drop that. So it's a great point,
not in football.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
Yeah, well I did see.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
I think something go beyond the flash.
Speaker 4 (29:23):
You don't want to drop it, but maybe some dudes
want to. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
P Diddy will want you to. Jeez. So here I
was thinking we were going to get some silky, smooth
transition above this mag Why do you do that? Man?
You want do you hit me with the silky smooth
like a real, real slick like Jonas.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
Has got off the radar from the rundown today, I
wouldn't talk about anything this hour supposed to.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
You got to realize, Yeah, that sucks, So then we
just sort of getting onto a different time.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
Actually about the two toleic strap for this one would
have been good.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
Well, speaking of sucking, let's down some silk. How about
that They got a ton of flavors. Yeah, it's nutrition
in your mouth and in the recipes. One thing that
doesn't get enough attention about silk though. It has shelf
stable options which will stay fresh without refrigeration until open,
(30:19):
which means all of that goodness that you are able
to put in your mouth and enjoy with all those
nutritional values. Well, you could go ahead and stock up
on it and you don't even have to put it
in your refrigerator. You want to learn more about them
products from silk that is, go to silk dot com.

defending champs, the top team in the West, losing at
home to the Suns one o four to ninety seven.
Phoenix is Kevin de Rant thirty points and thirteen rebounds
in the wins. That Denver loss opened up the door
for Minnesota and Oklahoma City to gain some ground. Timberwolves
due with the one oh six ninety one one over
the Pistons, so Minnesota, just a half game back of
Denver for that top break from the West, but the
(31:32):
Thunder remain a half game back. They lose at home
to the Rockets one thirty two, one twenty six in overtime.
Houston has won ten in a row. Trying to make
a late playoff push, Clippers edged the seventy six ers
one eight, one oh seven in his first game back
in Philadelphia. James harden for La had sixteen points and
fourteen rebounds, got booed throughout and also the officials getting
booed after this one. There was a late foul call
(31:54):
that wasn't made Kelly Ubrey Junior going up for a
game winning shot. There was some contact, no foul called,
but after Rizzy officials well, they reviewed the video and said,
at we should have called a foul and he should
have got a chance to either tie the game or
win the game with that's the free throw line. Lakers
beat the Grizzlies one thirty six, one twenty four, Warriors
over the Magic one oh one ninety three. Golden State
still a game up on Houston for that last play
(32:16):
in spot. Draymond Green ejected in the opening minutes of

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Anybody got a guess as to what the final will
be for Kelly Oubrade Junior, who apologized after the fact,
but went to each and every official, pointed directly at
him and called him all a bitch, Like, what do
you think the final will be? Since he apologized, well
that lower twenty d's you think twenty t's. I got
a feel it will be more than that. It'd be
a little more.
Speaker 4 (32:58):
Eddie.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
What's your guess? How much do you think the final
for you? Kelly Ubradge Junior calling each official a bitch
and then apologizing afterwards.
Speaker 7 (33:07):
I almost say ten grand per b.
Speaker 3 (33:10):
So you're going what thirty?
Speaker 4 (33:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (33:12):
Youet thirty? Brady, you have a guess on this, like,
how much you think the the fine will be for
Kelly u Brad Junior? Like, what is calling everybody a
bitch gets you? I'm gonna say fifty thousand. I'll go
fIF fifty. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna go twenty. All right,
So there it is. There's the There are picks on
(33:34):
how much when the first edition of how much will
Kelly Ubrade Junior be fine? For calling officials a bitch?
The first ever edition and multiple was hanged randed out.

So the NCAA tournament resumes coming up later on tonight.
One of the teams that finds themselves in a spot
in the sweet sixteen looking to advance into the next round.
They've got a tough matchup coming up, They're going to
(35:25):
be facing off in their pursuit of getting to that
next round against a tournament team that you always see
seemingly every single march. Try and make a deep run,
and that would begin Zaga And it is Purdue number
one ranked in the Midwest region and their star player,

Pro the week, the produced star looking to advance past
(36:09):
the sweet sixteen kill.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
Us top of the arc.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
Back to Smith, whyde open three long and right eighty
offensive rebound one dripled going up, Hey put today with
a fowl and Zach eighty with the right index finger
mimicking the officials call you better believe it's an end
one for the force of nature known as Zach eighty
west Wood one on the call. He is our Express
pros Pro of the week. So congratulations and Purdue looking
(36:34):
to advance into the Elite eight as a take on
Gonzaga coming up tomorrow. I know we've talked about this before,
and I know his coach, you know, gets a little
bit upset, and people get a little bit upset that,
you know, maybe maybe some might diminish what he's been
able to do at the college level. Do you think
there's he's going to get to the pros and it's
(36:57):
going to be a drastic difference between what he's been
able to do at the college level and there just
because of the perimeter game, or is this something to
where that size is going to translate to some degree
and he's going to be a serviceable player for a
long time. Serviceable. Yeah, I think he could be. He
could be elite.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
I mean, bigs aren't skill Bigs aren't a thing too
much anymore.
Speaker 3 (37:20):
He's a skill big.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
I think it would be Excuse me, I think it
would be serviceable. And I think it's important because of
how the makeup of so many teams with some of
these stretch forwards and the way you see them play now,
like he's gonna he's not gonna be able to sit
and be a rim protector. I mean Rudy Gobert, I
would say, is more athletic, maybe not quite as big,
(37:43):
but he's one of the better rim protectors in the league.
And if you look at his impact on the game,
you know, if you can't stretch, go out, shoot threes,
and really space out a team at your your impacts
only going to be rebounding and guarding the rim at best.
So I think it will be serviceable. But I think
that's the difficulty for any big man center is you
(38:07):
have to be skilled, like Wimby if you're coming into
the league at that sort of height and want to
have a huge impact and be able to change the
way people look at it. I just I think at
that level there's so many other guys who are close
to as tall but much better athletes that you're going
up against than what you're going to see at the
college level.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
And by the way, I watch Wemby play and I
still don't get it. It's incredible. I just don't get it,
don't It.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
Is like him and Giannis for their size, for how
athletic they are, how they move, it's it really is
impressive to watch, like how skilled they are for for
as tall and long as they are.
Speaker 3 (38:43):
You like Chet Holmgren is a skilled player.
Speaker 4 (38:46):
I just I don't.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
I don't look at him the same as we like
Wemby just looks so fluid.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
Who looks more like a wind puppet? Between Chet and Wemby.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
That's a great question.
Speaker 4 (38:56):
Like if you had to put one or both up
and out in front of a car dealership, which which
would you pick?
Speaker 3 (39:02):
I would go chat. I would go chat. But I
would also say on a holiday weekend like a Labor
Day or Fourth of July posts, Yeah, you put both
of them? Yeah, are too much? What what you pay
for both?
Speaker 4 (39:13):
You have to it's a big weekend.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
Yeah, man's have to be high five in each other?
Two different lines.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
What's Memorial Day? What's the biggest holiday weekend for sales
for the auto industry?
Speaker 3 (39:33):
It must be a memorial to President's Day?
Speaker 4 (39:36):
Is the President's Day?
Speaker 3 (39:37):
You think it's Labor Day?
Speaker 4 (39:38):
Lorena?
Speaker 8 (39:39):
Yeah, of course.
Speaker 3 (39:41):
I don't back our so I don't know. Oh you
haven't bought four you I don't. I'm just not in
the cars. What are you talking about it? I'm seeing
seeing Martin Luther King Junior Day for some reason. Hell yeah,
I could tell you what that's based on algarorith.
Speaker 4 (40:00):
You see what this one says Black Friday?
Speaker 3 (40:03):
Did you hear what you just said? And then he
doubled down on it.
Speaker 8 (40:07):
Look, I'm looking at it. This is based off a
Google search. Don't what is what holiday to do with
Black Friday. Let's just let's be clear here, Q Q
was firing off at me. I was excited for it,
but you were firing off on Lee and it was
really funny. And I hope that didn't slide through the
cracks while Q was hit me, because while you were
(40:28):
hitting me, you pulled the M sixteen out on leave.
But you said it was his algorithm, and in reality
it's a different holiday.
Speaker 3 (40:37):
But the algorithm came out.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
A few years by the way, says New Year's of
a Mortal Days. I just want you to know I.
Speaker 3 (40:48):
Looked my mind sets, SINKO to MYO for some reason,
you're yeah, you.
Speaker 4 (40:52):
Go mine, says fourth of July presence Day.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (41:01):
I don't think the internet works anymore.
