Joe show over a Fox Sports Radio dot com or

Sports Radio. You know we are definitely going to get
(00:41):
to uh one team in the NFL. Who he right
when you think they took a turn? The the old
days are gone. This happens on a Sunday, absolutely brutal.
We are gonna get to that here coming up in
just a couple of moments from now on Fox Sports Radio.
Here on Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks. But we must address a de
veloping situation here in the studio. LaVar Arrington and I
(01:04):
are sitting here trying to prepare for the next segment,
going over a notes, discussing with lead to lap on
our production crew here where we want to go things
like that, just really mapping out the show. Happen to
take a gander up at TV two and what do
we see Brady Quinn in a Wendy's commercial sitting in
the driver's seat of a car. You know, yeah, of
(01:27):
course he was a driver. Of course, yeah, he had
to be the driver, you know, eating, I'm just driving.
Just say, like you could let Liner drive the car.
You had to drive the car. I mean, the big
New boys, you're you're the he's left handed, he's left handed.
The car was built, it was a right handed car. Okay,
that's that's fair. It's like a left handed cigarette. You
(01:51):
can have a right you know, you have a left
handed cigarette. That's a completely different thing. It's so different
than a right handed, you know, left handed cigarette. Same
thing with cars. That's a right handed car. Okay, how
many takes? Um? Honestly, that segment was our last shoot.
And for any shoot that you do on a commercial
shoot like that, here's what happens. All the stuff they
(02:13):
do before they take way too much time on. And
then that particular one which um coach Stoop has had
some flight trouble just getting in so we actually had to.
We waited for him and then he came in and
we popped that thing. We probably did that in twenty
minutes maybe maybe. Third, do you have do you have
(02:34):
any by yourself where you're holding your two sandwiches with
the finger, the pointer and the thumb like not, No,
I do not. I have zero by myself. That was
all all a team or that was all designated for Rench.
You know, interesting carefully with the mannerisms here in studio
(02:55):
there's a you know, traffic passing by at some point,
to be careful. I'm just saying, especially when meat goes
on to them sandwiches and it ain't no good. Yeah,
I don't want that. It could be a problem. Now,
how many fries did you have during that take during
that shoot there, Brady, Because it seems like there's there's
(03:17):
one they haven't shown. I don't know if they just
cut it out altogether or not, but there's one where
like I actually had to eat a decent amount because
of how the the commercial starts. So that was the
only that was the only one that I actually ate
a bunch of fries where you guys on stage um
(03:37):
while the singer was singing standing over top of one
of you guys, maybe that ranch. I don't know why
you were stuffing your mouth full of French pretty much
pretty much, that's right, rain. Yeah, but listen, by the way,
(04:07):
you know Wendy's is from Dublin, Ohio. I don't know
if you know that, Brady Dublin. The headquarters are in Dublin.
That's actually the first one. The first one was actually
in Columbus. Yeah, you know hometown boy does good. Uh yeah,
how about that first one's downtown Columbus runs from Costa LaVar.
Any anytime you need any information on Dublin, Ohio, you
(04:28):
just come to me, like I'm gonna go to here.
He's been there once and he was blacked out trunk
for about a good portion of it, so I'm sure
he remembers. Not my fault. Heavy heavy poor they're you
know from the bar keeps at You know, you keep
saying heavy poor man. You can't heavy poor beer man beer,
just trying to slip that by Okay, I'm just saying
(04:49):
a heavy poor on a beer like you can't use
it for a heavy poor whatever. Speaking of Ohio, have
you ever put to Keilan serves? No, I haven't. Yeah,
that's that. I forget what it's called. One of my
buddies told me what it was called. It's called death.
It's amazing. You put it in pacifico. You put put
a shot on the top of your Pacifico. They were
(05:11):
serving that on stage. Now, just drink responsible responsibly. Oh man,
all right, speaking of Ohio, the Cleveland Browns are back, folks.
Uh the brown keep drinking, Brady, What the f man?
(05:31):
I thought we I thought those days were over. They
go into New England yesterday and get absolutely electrocuted by
the Patriots. They got destroyed. That game wasn't close. It
was bad on every level. And uh and here we
are the next day trying to figure out what the
hell the Browns are post Oh b J. Just getting
(05:52):
shelacked like that by Belichick and company in New England.
But look, if this was a close loss. I'm never
one for like the whole horseshoes and hand grenades analogy, Like,
I don't know that it matters quite as much. But
the optics looked bad in this one. I mean because
this was a team and we talked about it, like
(06:13):
this is a team that you're competing with for a
wild card spot. As it stands right now in the playoffs,
and you look like you're so far apart. And we
only had you know, one game sample size of no
O b J. And we saw the Browns light up
the Bengals, and so you're thinking, like, Okay, this is
the same Brown's team we saw get on that run
(06:35):
when O. B J got hurt last year and it
wasn't even close. Mac Jones stole the show. The defense
for New England looked outstanding, Baker looked awful, and then
he he gets a knee injury that I mean, I'm
not sure what exactly happened or how how bad you
(06:56):
know that injury is. He's been pretty banged up this season.
But if you're a Browns fan, you're waking up today,
you probably feel like I do. You feel like a
fool because you bought into the fact that this team
was gonna be a double digit win team this year
and go on and and they take a step forward
again from where they were last year. I mean, the
narrative around this team was, hey, super Bowl contender this
(07:18):
year if with what they did last year, Uh, it
does not look like this season is gonna even end
in the playoffs. The way they looked this past Sunday.
Um I was. I was at a loss, and not
because they lost, but because they lost the way that
they lost. I mean, they scored seven points in the
(07:40):
first quarter and that was it. The ernest, right, the
Ernest Johnson, who is obviously the guy who's in when
Chubb isn't around, and and he he did what he
was supposed to do. He was just under a hundred
yards Russian. But what's what's damning is he was your
leading received ever and and he was your leading receiver
(08:03):
at at under sixty yards. So you you think, uh,
maybe Jarvis is sitting there looking at at Obi Obi
the first you know, wait wait Obie, no, no, no, okay,
the second because Beckham Jr. Has got to be the
first because the dad posted the video. So it's the
(08:25):
first one. You know, you gotta you gotta think that
Jarvis is like, uh, Dad for for receptions for yards
you uh could you make me? Could you put together
a highlight film and just anonymously, you know, release it
for me so that I could get a little bit
of love too as well. I mean, you're not gonna
win games when the guys you're talking about have to
(08:47):
deliver for you. Uh, the illustrious Donovan People's Jones, who
was supposed to come in and and fill in the
void left by by O b J had a whopping
one catch for six teen yards. Uh. It just that's
just not the recipe for for winning. And and when
you can't generate a running attack that which yards is
(09:10):
nothing to sneeze at. But if you can't generate a
legitimate running game that can get you in scoring position,
and you're out of sorts and you're out of sync
within your passing game, you know your defense is going
to have to give you an opportunity. And you know,
give their defense a little bit of credit, you know,
in the sense that you held them to seven points
(09:32):
in the first quarter. Um it got a little bit dicey.
They put seventeen up in the second quarter. Uh, It's
just that's not it's not a good recipe for being
able to win what we saw Cleveland Browns go out
there and do. And Baker Mayfield spoke after the game
after that brutal loss to the Patriots, we just need
(09:52):
to find ways to win because teams are gonna play
us differently. You just need to find ways to win.
And that's, you know, obviously stating the obvious, but that's
the truth. Whatever it takes, and we need to do that.
Everybody in our building has to look in the mirror
and just kind of re evaluate and be accountable to themselves,
to each other because we're we're sitting somewhere where we
thought we'd be in a better place right now, but
we're not. So it's, uh, it's time to reevaluate and uh,
(10:15):
everybody needs to hold themselves accountable. Is Mac Jones a
better quarterback than Baker Mayfield right now? Oh? Wow, that's
a loaded question. He's he's playing that way. Yes, like
to answer that question, Yes, he's playing as a better
quarterback than Baker and he's a rookie. And you know what,
I've kind of I said this in my notes to you,
(10:36):
and I sincerely mean this. I sincerely mean this. I
do feel like there's an element of like Bill Belichick
understands better how to how to basically when you look
at the players. He understands basically that players have a
floor to ceiling, and instead of looking at their potential
and looking at what they're capable of, he more saying
(11:00):
like I just want to know what the worst is,
Like I want to know what their floor is, and
I want to be able to say, no matter what,
going into a game, I I know, I know what
their worst is, and then they're they're steiling might not
be that high, but there's a much greater chance that
even on the worst day, they're still gonna play well
enough for me to win. Like, I think that's one
of the brilliants of Bill Belichick with the players who
(11:20):
puts on his roster and drafts are signs he gets
guys who don't always have the highest ceilings, but they
got the higher floors, and he's able to find guys
like that, because that's kind of Mac Jones in a nutshell,
Like I think he'll continue to play at a high
level like this will play well, but because he's not
a guy who's gonna escape and and run around and
buy a ton of time, he has to play within
(11:41):
the confines of the offense and a talent he has
around him. But you're also not gonna see him have
one of those god awful games because it's just not him.
It's it's not the type of player he is not
when he was at Alabama, and really not you know
what he is in New England, and so I think
there's something to that with the way Bill Belichick's built
his teams and had consistency, is you know, they just
(12:02):
look at these guys are like maybe maybe they just
turned on like the worst games and the worst tape
when they're evaluating players, and they're just like, well, if
this is as bad as it gets, like I could
deal with this, like like I I can have this
guy on my team because I still think I can
win with this guy even on his worst days. And also,
the Patriots scheduled down the stretches is pretty tough, and
(12:23):
so there's a real chance that they won't make the
playoffs even as well as they're playing right now. They
got Atlanta next, Um, you would assume, especially after what
we saw from Atlanta, that they could get a win there,
although it's a short week and they're sitting at seven
and four. Even if even if say they don't make
a playoff run here going into next season, don't you
feel great about mac Jones? Is your Quarterbine, I think
(12:44):
you feel great about Belichick and the New England page
because they're just getting regardless, they're getting better. It seems
like they're improving every single week and mac Jones is
getting better. And I just look at it and go, man,
if going into next year, I feel much better about
we're at it at quarterback. If I'm a Patriots fan
that I did go into this. Let me reverse that
(13:04):
on you. How are we looking at the Cleveland Browns
going on to come on? Here's here's what Hard does.
He's a Partsburgh guy, all right, he just takes a
Cleveland steamer on uspace that. But I feel like I'm
having flashbacks from my childhood playing days there. Man. I
just I just want to pronounce to be good man.
(13:26):
I just want I just want to pose this one
on you based upon what we're seeing and how we're
seeing it play out. I don't want to talk about it,
I know, I mean, I'm sorry. I gotta do this
and I gotta ask the question is is Baker Mayfield
playing himself out of that contract? Because we do know
(13:47):
that it's that time for it for it to either
be a do or don't scenario. I mean, I can't
see you franchise tagging him or he's still got the
fifth year. Okay, so it's it was a fifth exercise
the option on the fifth year they already have. Okay,
now you go, so then there will be no contract negotiation.
(14:08):
There there's no reason for him to assume that there
would be a contract negotiation. They could offer from something
substantially less than what other quarterbacks have signed it this
morning a year, take it or leave it like this
morning they should do? How how do how do you
feel that will work? I love the fact that Brady
has the details. I gotta make sure I'm up on
these details. But alright, so he's got his fifth year exercise.
(14:32):
How am I looking at this? If I'm Cleveland? I mean,
I think you're obviously you know, like the truth is,
this goes kind of back to last year, and there
was questions about his ability to take over games for
them last year and if he was deserving of the
contract for that reason. And this year. I don't know
that it's changed your mind as much, honestly. I mean,
(14:55):
only behind closed doors they know, you know, what they
feel like he's doing from an execution extino standpoint. But
I think that they're still gonna offer him one. I
just don't know if it's gonna be the contract that
he wants. And I think he's the type of player
that he gets paid a lot of money innitors on
under his fifth year option. Um, it'll be what I
(15:16):
think close to twenty million something like that. And then
you look at after that. They got the two franchise
tags to to model whatever offer off of, or he
could play it out, and he strikes me as the
type of player to play it out and to take
that risk if he's not getting what he wants, because
I think he's just the type of guy that wants
(15:36):
to bet on himself. And I'll tell you this much,
he'll he'll he'll come around, Like I truly believe that
from seeing him play his college days and through his
time in the NFL. I know people have a lot
of strong opinions on him, but I think he'll come
around and he'll have one of those big years when
he needs to have one in order to get that contract.
So whether it's after this year he agrees to something
(15:59):
or in a couple of years is going to franchise
tag route, I just think they feel like they've made
this bed and they're gonna land. I don't think they're
gonna start all over again at that quarterback position. It's

Are they closer to the start over or to the finish?
With Baker Mayfield, That's the question I asked myself. Yeah,
it's uh might be actually easier to go back to go. Well,
(16:41):
listen to it, it's gonna be uh. The remember the
Dak Prescott contract debate. Everybody nobody's questioning how good doc is?
You know what I mean? Like, there's no question, but
there was a there was a similar question of is
he deserving them the same contract as Pat Mahomes. Yeah,
and I think that's where But is that he been
a debate for Baker Mayfield this morning though? Are you
(17:04):
closer to go or are you almost around the board
to go around to go? For to do you have
to keep twisting the knife? Brady? Sorry, but I don't
know what Scott didn't do him all right? Coming up next,
trying to figure out how the hell a certain somebody
was on the field yesterday in the NFL. We're gonna
(17:25):
try and answer that question for you right here on
Fox Sports Radio. Be sure to catch live editions of
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn,
LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week days at six am
Easter three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
I Heart Radio. Unbelievable. I just now see this, Uh,
(17:47):
two Pros and a Cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio.
So rust did is a pregame two minute drill stuff
before the Packer game too. I didn't know that. I
didn't work again any points though. That's amazing, I know.
I Yeah. How about that? The things you learn? All right? Um,
coming up later on this hour, we're gonna have another
edition of the prop at Monster. We have a major
(18:09):
matchup coming up, a division battle on Monday Night football,
so we'll have all that for you later on this
hour here on Fox Sports Radio. Um, why was Dalvin
Cooke playing yesterday? Trying to uh, trying to figure that out?
Why was anybody got an answer on why Dalvin Cooke
was playing yesterday. Here's here's the hypocrisy about when like
(18:31):
you throw that out there, you have to make sure
people understand there is some damning I don't know if
you call it evidence or photos. I mean, yeah, it's
gonna be um, there are some damning photos and exchanges
that where there's an emission of guilt. Yeah, and and
(18:55):
so I don't know that everyone's seen that for so
for those who haven't, this kind of us back to
the conversation we had last week about Dalvin Cook and
what his attorney pumped out and Adam Schefter and all
that stuff. But that's beside the point where this becomes
a hypocritical issue for the NFL. Is we weren't sure
about Deshaun Watson and his status if a team traded
(19:18):
for him and if he'd be able to play this
season right until Ian Rappaport, who works for the NFL Network,
which is owned by the NFL, which was sending out
signals two teams by essentially saying, hey, if you trade
for him, we're not gonna put them on the commission's
exempt list. And the rationale was because what he has
(19:41):
done or being accused of isn't um physical or violent
in nature. That that was their awarding, meaning how Ian
rab Report communicated that message out to all the teams.
This with Dalvin Cook is in entirely from you. It's
shocking that the NFL wouldn't act quicker on something that
(20:05):
literally literally has ended players careers in the past. And
you've already got stuff that's out there publicly. Yet here
we are on a Sunday in November and he's still
playing in the game, not only playing, but just listening
to the way they were announcing when he ran the ball,
(20:27):
and it was never maybe I missed it, but it
was never even brought up. There was no no acknowledgement
of the possibilities of it, the alleged aspects of it.
Nothing was brought up. It was just like, oh, oh,
he was almost out of there. If that's that defender
doesn't get his if he doesn't get his body on
(20:49):
his feet, he that could have been. I mean, this
guy's got home run speed like, and I'm sitting there
and all I could sit there and think about was
dank like, just we're gonna gloss over it. And I
was listening when I saw my my, my homeboy, sent
it to me, and I saw the messages like like
(21:09):
I can't even go home for the holiday. I can't.
I can't go see my family looking like this, like
you really jacked me up and him apologize oh man,
and like, oh, I will handle it the way. You know,
I understand if you go to the police and this
that another well clearly that isn't the case you You
clearly switched it up and and now it's a matter
(21:32):
of it's against you, you know, And it's kind of like,
I don't know, man, that that one left me feeling.
I have daughters, so I get real like touch sensitive
on topics that involve you know, the you know, the
abuse and and and assault situations with women. So to me,
(21:52):
I just I don't understand that one. I'm hoping that
we get some clarity on why why this isn't being
handled in a for men or than what it is.
And and there's people that are going to say, well,
you know, he hasn't been convicted of anything yet, you know,
he deserves you know, innocent until proven guilty, and all
of that is true, and all that and holding and
holding all of that is true, and we're not We're
(22:14):
not saying that, you know, Dalvin Cook is guilty. But
what we're saying is the NFL has shown you time
and time again, even if you're not yet guilty, if
it looks a certain way, we're gonna we're gonna be
cautious about this, and we're not gonna put you out
on the field to go play a game with all
this looming. Yet here we are, and and and I
(22:36):
think the issue that people have, to Brady's point, is
that hypocrisy. Because they've set a standard to where this
is how we're going to treat and handle this stuff.
Then it's almost like the past couple of years d
but kind of theory they have there hasn't been a
standard set. The standard is inconsistency, yes, kind of what
the standard is. And now Goodell is like, well, you know,
I'm just gonna take more of a hands off approach. Well,
(22:58):
it's not what you were doing years ago. That's it's
not that's not what's been done in other situations, whether
Zeke Elliott or some of these other at times when
when guys have been in trouble and they've gone ahead
and you know, taken them off the field or put
them on the exemp list. It's just it's a bad look.
And to see all the the physical the pictures that
are out there and that stuff, and the fact that
he's on the field playing it was just bizarre. And
(23:21):
it was almost like there is nobody like paying attention
to this, like this is not like getting coverage. I
don't get it. I'll tell you this much for because
Lavarre kind of brought up with the broadcast team and
I wasn't sure if they had touched on it. At
some point I thought I thought they did, but maybe
they did. Like I said, I could have missed it,
but I didn't hear it when I was watching it.
(23:41):
I did not hear it either way. I think the
NFL put them in a tough position. Of course, they
should have never been in the spot where they would
have to describe the nature of play, which in the NFL,
we know it's physical, we know it can be violent,
we know it's you know, it's all those things. But
they should have never been in a position where they
would have to talk about a player that has this
(24:02):
sort of stuff out there looming and maybe you could say, well,
you know, then, what would it be any different for
Deshaun Watson, like the NFL has already come out and
said like it's not the same, like an apple's to
oranges comparison between the two and when we're not far
along enough with with everything on Dalvin Cook. But to
Jonas's point, this is more about the hypocrisy of the
(24:23):
NFL and how it reacts to public outrage and what
it was ten years ago versus what it is right now.
And that can of worms that Roger Goodell opened up
when he wanted to become the jury judge and executioner
of all these players for their player conduct under the
collective bargaining Agreement. He's the one that when he came
(24:44):
in in two thousand and seven or six, when whatever
year he came in, he's the one that they basically
brought in to have that iron fist and to rule
the you know, the NFL in that way for the owners,
for the NFL. And now it seems like he's taking
his hands off the steering will and and that's the issue.
That's when you run into a ditch, that that's when
you end up having a huge crash. And so if
(25:06):
I was the media right now, like that would be
one of the things that I'm kind of surprised that
there's not more of an outrage. Uh, you know, that
would be the thing that I'd be kind of picking on,
is why is the NFL taken such a different stance
than the precedent that it's set years ago, and how
they handle these issues with players, and like the exempt
list was utilized as that place where look, we need
(25:29):
to figure out the details, but we need to protect
the shield and the integrity of the NFL. And when
we can't put a player out there when all of
this stuff is looming on the outside, and you can say, well, hey,
there haven't been charges broad and and all this other stuff,
and and maybe they reach a settlement, but that's beside
the point, because there's already too much out there where
you're putting a lot of people in some bad positions.
(25:50):
And I wouldn't be shocked if something doesn't happen here
in the near future moving forward, it's too pros and
a cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio, you know,
going to give somebody an opportunity here quickly to get
a little bit of revenge. You know, LaVar was given
it to Brady over the Cleveland Browns earlier in the
show and um, you know Brady they gets you know,
turn about his fair play. Um, anything you want to
(26:11):
say about LaVar's Pittsburgh Steelers based on that clown show
that we saw yesterday at hines Field. What the hell man,
hold on, hold on hold? I mean, like, like, here's
here's what I'd say in defense of the Steelers. I
did tell you when they were ranked at the bottom
the f C North, throw some money on them to
win the division. Um, ironically the tie, it actually puts
(26:34):
them in a good spot, keeps them alive there now
in the fifth spot as a wild card team in
the a f C playoff picture. I would just say this, Look,
Ben got diagnosed with COVID late in the week, which
puts everyone in a bad position. T J. Walt gets
hurt in that game. Um, it just overall, it was
a sloppy game. Yante Johnson had him in a position
(26:56):
to win a one point fumbles the football, you know,
was a friar mu with it end there. I mean,
it was just it was a sloppy, sloppy game. I'm
not I'm not writing off that football team. I think
they had a lot of odd things before the game
even started. To win the game, started playing impacts and
all that. Well, yes, it was an ugly game and
(27:18):
they could have won the game. They didn't win the game.
But when you think about it, they're still right there
in the mix of things. I mean, the Ravens didn't
handle their business, the the Prowns clearly didn't handle theirs. Uh,
and then there's the Bengal Like everybody's together, everybody's right
(27:40):
there together. The Ravens are only one game ahead of
the rest of those teams. So this is one of
those week the week things in the a f C North,
like somebody is going to slip up or somebody's going
to catch on. And you know, I'll say this, it's unfortunate.
You know, you made a comparison between Cleveland, you know,
(28:02):
and obviously Brady's a Cleveland guy like Ohio guy. For
Cleveland fan, I'm a Pittsburgh guy. I'm a Pillenburgh fan.
I'm a Stiller's fan. But but my situation and circumstances
are different than yours. Brady, my starting quarterback was not
playing yours was correct, and for for it to turn
(28:25):
out the way that it did for the Browns, um
that's kind of in a lot of ways. If you're
going to be a team that's going to be respected,
and you look at what what what's ahead for them,
you can't lose like that. I gotta be honest. I'd
rather lose on the road at Foxboro then tie at
home with Lions. Well here's the thing. Here's the thing.
(28:47):
This is still the National Football League and those are
still pro players that are playing for the Detroit Lions,
so and and and all due respect, you lose your
already quarterback. You see the importance of what he represents,
which I thought what was kind of curious was they
did go with Rudolph and they didn't go with Haskins.
(29:10):
Um that was that's something to pay pay attention to. Well,
here's what we found out. Here's what I say about
the Haskins, Rudolf whatever is there the guy to replace Ben,
which will probably be next year. He ain't on that
right Like, he's not on that roster. What you know
where you know where he's at. He's practicing in their facility,
(29:30):
he's practicing in their indoor facility. He plays on that field.
He just does it on Saturdays. I'll tell you right now,
if if you're listening, and you're a Steelers fan, just
go go to those home pit you know, Panther football
games and watch your next quarterback, because that dude is
(29:52):
slinging it. He's got a howitzer. He could scramp, you know.
He he's he reminds me of a smaller Ben Roethlisberger
coming out of Miami, Ohio. He's not as tall as
Ben was, but he sure as hell is good as
good as an athlete. He has got a howitzer for
an arm. All he does is take chunk plays left
and right. And he's literally playing in your city. He's
(30:15):
already set after a game. All he wanted wasn't nice
cold beer? Mean that sounds like it's still a player
if I'm not mistaken. And unfortunately he's not from Pittsburgh.
I mean he's from New Jersey, but he might as
well be now man. But he understands the motto there
cold beer after a big That is very true. I mean,
we do accept him and listen that he's done an
(30:37):
excellent job for the Panthers. Not saying Panther Nation, I'm
speaking on your behalf. I'm speaking on Pittsburgh's behalf. I
would certainly be okay with us taking him to be
one of the next quarterbacks for for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
You guys want to hear from Dan Campbell, alright, he's
looking for his first win as Lion's head coach, getting
(31:03):
here after Look, I think that's a good football team,
and that's a winning football team. They've done it right
for a long time. You know, we went to and
top with him, and I think that's what it says.
We were able to go on there and no, we
didn't win the win lose either. And all you asked
for his improvement, we improved. I gotta be honest. You
(31:26):
can if you can move beyond the wins and lost
totals of what's going on in Detroit and and they
actually give Dan Campbell the opportunity to really really change
the culture and really really shift some things, not just
on the field, but just the way things are done
(31:48):
in totality. He could be the right guy for this
job because one thing about him, he truly cares. You
know that you're not gonna you are not going to
confuse what Dan Campbell represents as a coach. He cares
about the game. He cares about his players. You know,
he cares about winning and and when you have somebody
(32:12):
like that that's as good as he has been as
a coach, uh and even as a player in his background,
you gotta take a step back and say a team
a franchise like the Detroit Lines, it is not going
to be a quick turnaround to make them a winning
product on the field. You're gonna have to have somebody
who has all of those qualities that I just mentioned
(32:35):
about Dan Campbell. They went into Pittsburgh and they played
head to head, as he mentioned, a scrappy style of football.
They scrapped with the Pittsburgh Steelers in that game. You
gotta believe seeing some of the things that they've done
in games past, it's the same mentality you're seeing this.
(32:55):
I'm getting punched in my mouth. He told us, we're
gonna get punched in the face. We're gonna get knocked down,
but we're going to get up. I thought it was
funny at first. They are getting punched in their face,
they are getting knocked down, but they keep getting back up,
and at some point you start to realize that I
can take the punches, and then you start delivering the
punches and maybe you just might start knocking guys down
and they have to get back up. And that's a
(33:16):
possibility that that's what Dan Campbell is doing, you transforming
you know, this team, and they'll beat the Bears on
Thanksgiving anyway, So we'll be fine. Everything will be fine.
I don't know about that. We'll see lock of the
centry there. I don't know. I think that that's you
really don't want us to come in here talking bad
about you and Chicago. Listen, I got nothing to say
about that awful team, all right. It is Two Pros

It's two pros and a cup of joe. Here on
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks coming
up top the next hour you talk about strange, weird,
(34:41):
awful luck for somebody in the NFL. We will get
into that story here again about ten minutes from now
on Fox Sports Radio. Uh, what's wrong with LaVar? Why
are you coming to your phone? Nothing? It's that bad
steak that you Uh man, we might have a situation here,
all right, you know, bigger problem all right? So, uh,
(35:07):
it's time to do something that we normally do on
the show called this. Yeah, defeat your degenerate gambling soul,
the prop bet monsters, and it is time we got
ourselves Monday Night Football, LeVar Arrington, looking to even up
(35:30):
the standings, he took Thursday's propet Monster. We do this
every Thursday and Monday night. I make up some prop bets,
I throw them at the guys and we'll see what
you guys think of these options here. All right, so
we got rams at the forty niners. First prop bet
here this week is the first oh b J target
of the game results in a completion or an incompletion. Completion.
(35:56):
I'm saying completion. It might even be a screen or
something you short. Simple, I have to agree it's going
to be something short. What's gonna They're they're going to
try to protecting the lead good for you? No, No,
They're just going they're going to try to get a good,
feel good situation for his entry. So I don't trying
to punch a kicking net, you know. Yeah, No, no
(36:18):
early meltdowns. No like the much of the saying, come on,
you know? All right? Next up, Color of the flat
bill hat. Kyle Shanahan is wearing red, black or white
where they playing this in San Franz. Yes, that's a
tough one. I feel like for some reason, I mean,
(36:41):
it's either red or black, but for some reason, I
feel like it's gonna be black at home. Maybe I
don't know why. So you're going with black, I guess
I don't feel good about it. I'm going with Red.
He's that's an easy one, all right, I don't know
why I picked all right. Next up, which graphic is
(37:03):
shown first after the game starts, Kyle Shanahan's record against
Sean McVeigh, the forty Niners record at home this season,
or the number of draft picks the Rams now have
in the next couple of years. I think Shanahan's record
versus McVeigh. Yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna double down
(37:24):
on that that you are protecting the lead. You are
look at him, all right? Next up? Who has more
catches in the game? And this is the wild card option?
You earn an extra point if you take one of these.
Who has more catches in the game, Cooper Cup or
the field meaning anybody else? And if you take the field,
(37:46):
you will get an extra point if that turns out
to be true. Really, I mean Cooper Cup is he's
been dominating so far. You're talking all together. I'm talking
not not somebody else, somebody other than Cooper Cup. It's
going to catch more. No, I'm gonna take Cooper Cup. Okay,
so I'm gonna take Cooper cup. It's got to be
(38:08):
so it's a hit to hit anybody could be as
somebody want San Francisco taking the I'm taking cup, alright,
so and and Brady does take the wild cards, so
that will wearing you an extra point here if you
get that correct. Alright, last one here? What happens first?
And oh b J touchdown a tray lance pass attempt
and Aaron Donald fight or Sean McVeigh rips his pants
(38:31):
celebrating a touchdown. S mcveys with that hot step. Those
things are painted on. I mean, what are those dockers?
What's you wear? Dockers? He enjoys the way his legs
and and stereor post stereo look well you know yeah
when he's moving postereo. Okay, that's gonna sure we save that.
(38:55):
They're figured. I mean it is a stereo. Okay, I
am getting light. I may say I'm not safe because
it's yeah, yeah, there is. It's probably not safe to
be there when you consume that much fiber and broccoli.
It's gonna be a bat next to tell you what
this is? Oh um, what was the first couple of options?
(39:20):
O b J? Touchdown, Trey Lances attempt, Aaron Donald fight,
I mean pick. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports
