never tried it?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
No?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I heard heard different things about it, mixed mixed reviews.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
I mean, I would say my review of it is
it definitely works, That's what I would say.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, there's some bad stuff, bro.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
I didn't even look. I just my son got like promo,
he got promo products and the mail.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
I'm more of a five hour energy guy.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
I am too. I mean, and pumpkin spice is my deal,
like I bang would it. But right now, in this moment,
I have a Prime and it works. That's all I'm
gonna say. You guys sound like paid men over there. Man,
Well with pumpkin pumpkin spice, Yeah, definitely, there's seventeen flavors.
To be exact, there's one out there for you. If

(02:46):
you go get a five hour in little five inches,
well done. Yeah, there's nothing better than your blue shoe,
though your blue cho read is I mean, theo is
what it is. I mean, if you want to put
that lead in your pencil and go ahead and and
and create and write the way you need to write out.
And I ain't talking about a number two. We're talking

(03:06):
about them goli or if you've got.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
A couple of eight balls in between your legs.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Uh, you know, corner pocket for to win because.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
The gun hasn't been fired quite some time.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
Tang bang bang?

Speaker 4 (03:23):
We are who you talking about? Care to answer?

Speaker 6 (03:27):
No?

Speaker 2 (03:27):
You know what I'm talking about. Sit right next to you.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Ah, hey, I didn't do anything.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Some people call the yonis.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Not lately or roads traveled? Never heard of them?

Speaker 6 (03:41):
All right, we want to get in Uh, I want
to get into this, uh this conversation. Uh.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
We mentioned that if, oh, if you're an own three
team in the NFL, show is ridiculous. Your chances of
making the playoffs are pretty slim. And there's only four
teams that have done it in the history of the league.
One of the most recent was the Texans back in
twenty eighteen, since the expansion of the playoffs to seven
a side in each conference, nobody started owing three and

(04:19):
has made the postseason. So it's a long shot. Like,
the chances are really really slim of this happening. But
if we had to, if we had to sell you
on an Owen three team, and this was a Brady
Quinn creation, which Owen three team would Beington.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
I want to go.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Because we were.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
The easiest one you took me.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I was just say I was like, f off, Then
I'm gonna take your team.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Go ahead, take it.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
What then, what are you gonna do?

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Go ahead?

Speaker 7 (04:55):
Yeah, exactly, And see what I'm gonna do. Go ahead, LeVar.
That's not how we set this up. I gave you
the opportunity, all right to pick which team you wanted,
So take it, because I'm not gonna stand here and
let you let you you know, bitch or get upset
when I take your team, then.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Go ahead, you guys put me in the toughest spot.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
I mean, I'm ready to go go ahead and go ahead.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (05:16):
So here's what we need though, Ian Before we do
this segment, we get some some music that may make
the most sense here all right, all right, we have anything?
Oh yeah, yeah, well a little river band, tang, loads
of loser.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
It's perfect, all right, Jonas, all right? Switch?

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Oh and three team.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
You're riding with? Which is your ride or die? All right?

Speaker 5 (05:41):
So, uh, I want to I want to preface this
by saying this isn't going to happen. But if it
were going to happen, let me sell you on the
Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Now.

Speaker 5 (05:57):
Now, they have been the butt of mini jokes on
the show, and they will continue to be right. I
would say that their fan base handles that a little
better than the Bengals do. They're not. The problem is,
I'm not sure that we know very many Dolphins fans.
I know one, and you can't tell them anything about
the organization. But I look at this organization and I go,
all right, we understand the end is near. It seems

(06:18):
like for Mike McDaniel, we understand that they're own three
and the chances are slim they're going to make a
run of this whole thing. But if you look at
their three losses, Indianapolis put them in a clown suit.
I don't think anybody saw that coming. But upon further review,
Indianapolis is much better than people expected. They've punched once
on the year New England. They should have won that game,

(06:40):
all right, Special teams, gaffes that sort of slipped through
their hands. And then they go at Buffalo on a
short week and they were competitive, and you can argue,
if not for the interception by Tua, maybe that game
turns out a little bit differently. The final score not
really indicative of what that game look like. On their
schedule remaining, you've got the Jets, too are awful, the Panthers,

(07:02):
who aren't very good. You do have the Chargers mixed
in there, but you've got Cleveland, You've got Atlanta, who
the hell knows what's going on with Atlanta. They've got
coaching changes and guys moving from the booth down on
the field. There's a winnable set of games for the
Miami Dolphins down the stretch. New Orleans, the Jets again,

(07:23):
the Bengals are probably still gonna have a backup quarterback
at that time. You're going to close with New England,
and I'll say this the afc'st I thought New England
would be better than they are.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
They're not.

Speaker 5 (07:35):
Miami's got a decent shot at making something of this year.
Is it going to happen? Probably not. But if I've
got to sell you on one team, I look at
a team who's probably of all the own three teams
outside of Houston, got the best quarterback of the bunch.
It's two a tongue by Loa and the Miami Dolphins
potentially making a run.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Well done, we're out of applause.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
Well dodge, Oh well done, Yellena LeVar up. I'm gonna
take the Houston Texans sticks picks. They've been here before,
and this is a very simple explanation. They've been here before.
They're well versed on it. Their offense has not played

(08:19):
well yet this season three games in and they have
a very healthy amount of quarters that they have not
scored points. The positive is is that they really kind
of look rock bottom on the way that they're playing
offense right now. And I think that there should be

(08:42):
a little bit more time, a little bit more buy
in in terms of confidence for CJ. Stroud to be
able to start playing better. And if he does, I
would say that that would bote very well for this
team because their defense has played very well. Think about it.
The Rams game, they were in it could have been

(09:03):
able to win the game. You're talking about a fourteen
to nine win. That is a very low scoring affair,
and your defense has put you in position to win
that game. The same exists with the Buccaneers game where
the Buccaneers were able to muster a very very average

(09:23):
twenty points, and exactly the same type of story in
the Jacksonville Jaguars game where they were able to muster
a staggering seventeen points in the game.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
So to me, when I look at this Houston Texans team,
if I'm looking at the positives of this, sure you're
zero to three, but your one good game of getting CJ.
Stroud in this offense back on track. And if that defense,
which has shown that they can be consistent in the

(09:59):
limit of what offenses are able to do output wise
against them, they should be able to put together a
nice string of victories that if they take it one
game at a time, they can climb back to five hundred.
And if this team feasibly that can climb back to
five hundred within their schedule, especially the division that they

(10:21):
reside in, they have a strong opportunity of finishing and
being right there where they need to be in a
division where we've seen a team that actually that is
leading the division, they could take a nosedive. It's possible
that they could could fall off the cliff and they're

(10:45):
what they're uh, you know, what their accomplishments and their
wins look like as well. So it could be a
seesaw shift for this division, and it could be the
Houston Texans that make a strong push.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
To be that.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Yeah, all done hanging through God's work.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Talk about that's just the snails trail right there, that's all.
I'll take the snail trail. Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 7 (11:10):
All right, Well, as we uh maybe foreshadowed in a way,
I'd let you guys pick first. So you guys took
two of the teams I think were decent options. But
I've got one for you. I've got a team that
there's kind of a love hate relationship probably with me
and uh in this particular organization, I would say probably

(11:30):
more hate towards me than love.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
But I digress.

Speaker 7 (11:33):
I told this fan base back when Zach Wilson was
the quarterback, they would stink. They didn't listen. They got
upset about it. I even donated some money to charity.
But you know what happened in the end.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
I was right. They didn't take to that very well.
Then I told them I was I was behind them.
I was rude for them.

Speaker 7 (11:48):
When Aaron Rodgers got there, well he got hurt, kind
of threw a wrench in the entire thing there in
New York.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
But I'm back. I'm back with you, you New York Jets.
That's right.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
So we're going to see you do a celebration down
the side line too.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Huh oh.

Speaker 7 (12:06):
I'll be ji hip thrusting, doing all kinds of motions
and things like I'm on soul train. But if you
really think about it, all right, this is the schedule
they've played so far. Pittsburgh, Buffalo at Tampa. Those are
three of the best teams in the NFL, two of
which they could have beaten. You could make the case
they could have beaten the Pittsburgh Steel Is week one.

(12:28):
They probably could have should have, you know, maybe beaten
the Bucks the way everything worked out last week, all
right down in Tampa. Now, the Buffalo game got away
from him. Full disclosure on that. I would admit that
Buffalo's a little b ahead of him right now. But
going to Miami to play that hopeless team at this moment.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
All right.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
You got a Dallas Cowboys defense after that that's letting
anyone walk in the door like a like a super eight.
And you've got a Broncos team that struggled thus far,
but the Panthers then a backup quarterback in Cincinnati with
with Jake Browning a bye week before you played the Browns.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
This thing sets up for the Jets to climb back.

Speaker 7 (13:05):
Out of the cellar, all right, crawl off that Motel
six bed like some bed bugs. So New York Jets
don't feel like the lonsome loser, all right, don't feel
like the loadsome loser you got.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
You got a shot. You got a chance.

Speaker 7 (13:24):
Whether it's Tarad Taylor or Justin Fields. I hope that
proounced torod Right, it doesn't matter. This team can run
the football, they play good defense. The passing game needs
to improve. But you got a shot, and it starts
this week against the Miami Dolphins. Against Levar's guy, which

(13:44):
what's what what's he gonna say after this game?

Speaker 2 (13:46):
LeVar?

Speaker 4 (13:46):
If the Jets beat the Dolphins. If the Jets beat
the Dolphins, I don't know what you what do you think?

Speaker 5 (13:54):
I don't know well.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
Where we could climb back into it.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
So so really it all comes down to ie, we
were right here at it. So Brady and ice Picks
are facing off this week, so a lot of it's
going to be uh, a lot of the hope is
going to die this weekend.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Die this week.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
I knew that.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
You're one hard hit on two away from basically a
dying that way.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
That's really uh, nerve wracking to think about. Yeah, that's
that's already off the rails. I got Dolphins fans reaching
out to me right now as we talk about their team.
So your team stinked.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
I mean, I was stunned to see. I was stunned
to see nobody pick New Orleans. Nobody wanted to Nobody picked.
That's like the guy who that's like the guy who's
so guilty that no lawyer or lawyer or represent him. Like, now, listen,
we got no shot winning this game.

Speaker 7 (14:57):
They are, But can I tell you why didn't pick them?
Because I almost went the other But then I was like,
here's the deal. We haven't seen Jackson Dart yet, but
I don't think Jackson Dart or even the quarterback positions
the issues there. I think they're going to continue to
struggle regardless of who's in that quarterback. Look, defensively, they're good.
They might get that little pop because they've got a
younger guy in there. Everyone's excited. Blah blah blah. I

(15:18):
just I have a hard time believing they're gonna be
able to turn this thing around this year.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
I do.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
Weren't they like some long field goal kicks away from
beating Dallas in a big game. I felt like that
could have had a major impact on the early part
of their season if they get that dub and it
looked like they were about to get it.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
The same thing for the Jets. If the Jets, well,
the Jets have had.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Yeah, they've had some heartbreakers. I mean listen, like those
those celebrations didn't age well. You know, Coach Glenn was
like bulking up, bucking up against the Steelers.

Speaker 7 (15:53):
Look at those hips, man, I was like, damn, back
out there in the secondary. He still got it runs
through them. He needs to give some those hips for
that for that Super eight.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
Yeah, my left hips get in there. My left hips
getting worse. Didn't Liner get two hips done? You get
his hips replace this week this offseason?

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Yeah, I think it was. Yeah, I think the soft season.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
Yeah, all I've heard when you get your hips replaced,
what are you doing that for?

Speaker 5 (16:24):
Is it for hip thrusting or is it just for
wa functionality?

Speaker 2 (16:27):
I think it's yeah, I think it's for general general movement.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
And Andy Furman told me he got his done and
you're walking that day like you're up and out of
the bed walking that day on new hips. Really, yeah, yeah,
they've already told me. Yeah, there's like in my left hip.
They look said, sir, you've been so active on this hip,
you need a new one just the left side.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
Huh yeah, how does that work?

Speaker 4 (16:52):
So when I you're not balanced? And how you hip thrust?

Speaker 5 (16:55):
When when I dislocated my kneecap, it threw off its wrong?

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Which kneecap?

Speaker 2 (17:01):
You act like that one injury has like plagued your
because it did.

Speaker 7 (17:05):
I imagine all the other dude, imagine all the other
athletes out there who have like other serious injuries and
then they're like dealing.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
With the rest of it.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
By the way, that's the nicest thing he's ever said.
All the other apps, all.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
The other athletes.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Yeah, he did say that. I was I was perplexed.
When he said it, I ain't gonna lie. I was like, wait,
other athletes, N. I tuned out the rest of it.
I didn't even hear the rest of it. Like the
other athletes we talked about the same game. What did
you just say?

Speaker 2 (17:32):
All right, Okay, damn.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
That totally disqualified his pick for the New York By
the way, all you Jest fans out there, I was
okay with radwiod Q until he's hit all the other
athletes referring to that done, I need a hip replacement
from all the athletes.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
I donated like five hundred dollars. I think I donated
one hundred dollars. It's different well that year.

Speaker 7 (18:02):
For Jet because yeah, because the Jets fans there's like
people were outraged and there were such big Zach Wilson fans.
I'm like, dude, I'm sorry, I just don't get it.
He needs development. He's not ready yet. And like everyone
took issue with that, and I was like, all, I bet,
like what's there over under on unwins where I was like,
I'll give one hundred bucks to a charity for every
single win they get, and I think they got to

(18:23):
like five and then Jets it's like, oh yeah, and
I was like, yeah, I'm legitimately donating to various New
York charitable organizations and then it stopped, you know a
long time.

Speaker 5 (18:34):
You know, what I don't understand is the people that
think that it's an attack on the player as opposed
to know the situation they're in. Because if you remember
that offseason two, their quarterback coach died. He was in
a bike accident, died right before the year, so they
had that going into the season, and then Zack Wilson
gets out there and like what did he have to

(18:55):
work with? And so if you're if you're making an
assessment on hey, this guy's been putting a crap spot,
it's not going to be ideal for his development, somebody
comes out, Oh, why you said a haters, what are
you talking about?

Speaker 4 (19:07):
Like this is the reality because I am a hater.

Speaker 7 (19:09):
There was There was a lot though that went into
it because I said during the draft process, like, I
didn't Zach Wilson. I didn't have him as like a
top five quarterback in that class, had him as like
the sixth. And the reason being is every time I
watched him that year because I was during the COVID
year they were playing against lesser opponents, he would sit
back in the pocket and have all day to throw,
and then when he did throw, he would throw into

(19:31):
like a team meeting where they've got a twenty six
year old dude who's playing wide receiver, who's just like
would Moss this lesser opponent they're going up against over
two dudes, and I'm like, yeah, that's not translatable to
the NFL. And people had issues with that. I'm like,
he doesn't throw with a sense of anticipation. You know,
a lot of the big plays you're watching, You're like,
it's kind of like broke down plays that doesn't really

(19:53):
work within the confines of an offense. And they were
a team that was playing against a group of five,
you know teams, so like, yeah, this isn't like, this
isn't good. And I went back and watched the years
before and I'm like, I see upside, but I just
don't see a guy who's ready to walk in right
now and start. And when you take a guy number
two overall, that's what you're signaling to your fan base,

(20:13):
and that's what they kind of tried to do. So again,
it wasn't anything against him. It's not that he doesn't
have the ability to do it. It was just he
was gonna need more time to develop in my mind.
And and again, Jets fans and fans in general just
took that and ran with it and the rest is history.
But we did help out some good organizations.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
Yeah, you all know, on a separate topic, totally random,
but I found this out and I thought it was
pretty interesting what you got. I know, we got to
go to break But did you guys ever realize that
the buffalo that the Colorado Buffalo's run out with is
a female? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Yeah, Ralphie seven is a female.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
I just never knew.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Like, do you know why that is?

Speaker 4 (20:52):
Hell? Yeah, I would have loved for them to run
out with a male that they can't control. I know
he that that male would be way too big a bull.
They're called bulls, right, I believe they're bulls. I know
he would be too big, But could you imagine how
physically imposing that bull would be if you came running

(21:13):
out with him? So now, listen, I get it, like,
you can't have the mix of men and women running
out with with him or I mean with her, But
why would you name or her him and act as
though you're running out with a dude like Bevo isn't
He's not a buddy, he's not a girl.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
We got we got that going on. Just walk outside
the front door. Got that going on?

Speaker 4 (21:35):
Fry you're in California, buddy, rolled down the window. Oh wow,
So so what you guys are saying is is that
that Yeah, that buffalo that buffalo identifies with being a male.
A lot of people in these parts aren't happy with
their plumbing.

Speaker 7 (21:54):
Yeah, buddy, Like it's twenty twenty five. Have you not
seen what's crawling outside around you?

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Oh wow?

Speaker 7 (21:59):
A buffalo identifying as a meal as a male. It's
it's except that's the least surprising thing.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
In fact, you're the weird one.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Yeah, you're the problem.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
My mind was blown having this conversation. Point just now
you mind any more? Mind? Sales that I had were
just destroyed by what I just said.

Speaker 7 (22:22):
I do appreciate when you then apply like the nature
aspect of it to that discussion, how ridiculous it sounds.
You're like, wait, like imagine like a like a bunch
of buffaloes. They're like, hey, why is uh? Why why's
Felicia call herself Ralphie. You know, it's like she wants

(22:43):
to run out with the Colorado football team. It's like, Okay,
I get it.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
Hey, Melissa, why are you at the urnal?

Speaker 4 (22:49):
Well, go try to milk the real Ralphie. Hey, just
just go try, you know, go try there. They're bulls
like they're they're they're animals, you know what I mean.
So you could probably mills. Nothing to grab down there
there is, but it ain't the same. That's what I'm saying.
It's not a nudder.

Speaker 5 (23:09):
How did we get here?

Speaker 4 (23:10):
It's not a nudder? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
But you gotta be careful because if.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
I'm just like that man, you might be you might
be able to have a brisk wind.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
That a brisk wind.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
The right scenario, how you realize you have to identify
with what you are because that right there is a
snail trail.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
The dude's so gassed up over there.

Speaker 5 (23:43):
That'll wrap up our coverage of oh and three football
in the NFL. This is Bros And a cup of
show here on Fox Sports Radio. LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
Jonas knock to you all right. Coming up next here,
we are going to talk about the end of an

(28:14):
out as head coach, and that Jerry Vocaloma state tang.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
If you go just are you going to miss Elmore?
The hair like a mullet, a mullet, but it's a
Jerry curl mullet. It's got a curl, nice little curl
to it looks wet, but it's probably dry.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
I would say, he's got waves.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Is that what you call it?

Speaker 2 (28:35):
Yeah? Those are like the white boy waves.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
See I feel like that's the white boy curl. That is,
that's a Jerry curl. That's how it would look. Too
much product for a Jerry curl. Like you can get
waves with nothing. You know, you can get that up bang.
You can brush your hair. See to me about that
up bang. I don't know what an upbang is? Is
that like like the Johnny Bravo type dip buddy.

Speaker 7 (29:01):
I walked out of the hotel one morning and usually
I put like products on my hair or whatever, and
I don't put anything in it, and Ingram looks at
me and he goes, oh, man, look at you with
that up bang? And I was like, what the hell
is an upbang? Like I guess he was just saying
because the way like my hair was sitting called that
like a bang.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
But an up bang?

Speaker 4 (29:21):
Yeah, your your bang went up like because of how
there's like there's there's like a way.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
I don't even know how to describe it. I don't
know hair, I know.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
What he's talking about it's like a Johnny Bravo, Like
instead of your hair exactly over your forehead, it's so
exactly it stands exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, I'm with you.
That's the thing is like I was like, it was
super great. Great as your face is in the place
where you got that up bang.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Someone someone else help me get that up bang.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
Yeah, stiffing it right on up damn.

Speaker 5 (30:01):
But yeah that up banks Jonas Knox, Yeah, that that
up bang is is out.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
It still water.

Speaker 5 (30:08):
But I was so I knew that Mike Gundy had
played obviously at Oklahoma State. He was a quarterback there.
If you played with right, remind.

Speaker 7 (30:18):
Me Barry Sanders, Oh yeah, yeah, that's Herman Thomas if
not mistaken in the same backfield.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
By the way, yeah, Barry was younger, came after dude.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
Those were his those were his running backs. That's crazy,
it's absurd.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
And by the way, Barry Sanders was to me the
greatest college running back of all time.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
It's not even close.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
Yeah, I think he's the greatest period of all time.

Speaker 5 (30:42):
Really.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, Barrier, I want to make it. Yeah,
we're not going to make that mistake on the show.
I just want to make it not even by accident.
I just want to make sure. So Mike Gundy was
there for thirty five years in some capacity.

Speaker 5 (30:56):
Good for him. That's a hell of a run. He's
fifty eight years old. That's a majority of his life
was in one place, and now it's gone.

Speaker 4 (31:03):
It should be more of a celebration than it should
be a disappointment. I mean, you hate Ford to end
that way for him, obviously, you hate for it to
end that way. But I mean, that's a hell of
a run.

Speaker 7 (31:16):
So there's some people who are asking, like, you know,
they kind of get the why now because of just
how dramatically they've dropped off. I mean, this was a
team that you know, competed for Big twelve championships, a
team that you know could could.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Play with some of the best.

Speaker 7 (31:30):
I mean, throughout his tenure there, like they've been ranked
as high, like a top five team, but of late,
like their high watermark was plot probably with twenty twenty three,
most recently maybe twenty twenty one, but last year was awful.
I mean, and it seems like since they've transitioned to
the NIL and Transfer portal, they've been decimated and I'm

(31:55):
not sure, Like I don't know enough to know whether
or not he's resistant to it.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
You know, some of these coaches, they don't like having
a huge.

Speaker 7 (32:03):
Payroll for players because then they can't really tell the
players what to do, because it's more about a contract,
it's more about an agreement.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
And there's there's some coaches who don't want that.

Speaker 7 (32:12):
Like Mike Gundy played there, he went there before all
of that, so his perspective might be, if that's not
good enough for you, and yes we can get you
a little bit, but we're not paying you millions of dollars,
then I'm sorry, go somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
And because of that, some of them has been decimated.
I mean, their roster absolutely pillaged last year. So they
were three and nine. Last year, they didn't win a
game I don't think in conference play. And now this
year to start off one and two, and it just
it looks ugly. It looks ugly.

Speaker 7 (32:41):
I mean that Oregon Oregon State or Oklahoma State game
was an example of the difference between the haves and
have nots and and a program that, like again a
couple of years ago, was a ten win team, like
was a good football team. A top twenty team, and
that's how that's how fast they could fall off. But
my thing is, like knowing Mike Gundy, and there was

(33:03):
a report out that they offered him the chance to
finish out the season the coach the rest of the season.
He said no, So I'm sure there is a butting
of heads. I mean, he's a fiery guy. He's the
type of guy if you like coaching like that, you
want to play for him, like he's got your back
no matter what. And you know, I could see him

(33:25):
someone telling him like, hey, this isn't going and we're good,
Like we're gonna have to move on after the season,
and he's like, but do it now, Like, don't wait,
do it now.

Speaker 4 (33:32):
And remember there was the discussion after last year they
restructured his deal because there was some thought, man, is
he going to stick around and he ends up restructuring
his deal.

Speaker 5 (33:42):
Well, they've lost. They've lost eleven of their last twelve.

Speaker 7 (33:45):
Going back to life, I'll go as far as saying
I heard from a really reliable source last year on
conference championship weekend that they thought Mike Gunny was getting fired.
And that all turned around in about twenty four forty
eight hours. So again it gives you an idea of
how wild college football is because again a very very

(34:09):
reliable source and we're like, oh man, and so we
kind of talked about like who would make sense, they're
all stuff, and then all of a sudden it changed.
So to your point, like this has kind of been
on the burder for a while.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
That sucks.

Speaker 9 (34:23):
Man.

Speaker 5 (34:24):
That's because if you're him, all you know is that place.
So I wonder if he's even if he's even in
his mind thinking I'll just continue on somewhere else like that,
that's all he's known and so to see, and the
only guy who's been at a school longer is Kirk Farrens,
who seemingly is never going to leave for Iowa. I

(34:45):
just wonder for Mike Gundy if he looks around and says, man,
I don't.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
Know that amount of time being at one place, being
probably the most important figure hit as appla to the university.
He's probably a part of so many different things that
have developed the area, so many off the field opportunities.

(35:11):
Bro he's insulated. I would assume I would assume that
you know, he's he's been insulated with so many opportunities
that he's just a part of that community and he
can choose after that amount of time, he could choose
what he wants to do, and he really doesn't have
to vacate the area.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
This is one of THEO and his brother already came
out and and that's fine.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
It's like I said, it's I believe it's It's one
of those rare instances where you could sit there and
say he could make the decision that he wants to
make and it's void of any type of real malice
or or hate or venom connected to it. It didn't
in the way that you might have wanted to end.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
But this is not a.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
Severing of ties, so to speak, overall with that community.
He's a part of that community. So to me, he
goes and continues the coach, that's fine. If he wants
to go into media broadcasting, he would easily have local
access to doing it for one. For two, he pops
with his name recognition, he could do it nationally as well,

(36:23):
So he has options. It's not like he doesn't have
options if it didn't quite work out the way that
he would want for it to work out. Being a coach,
that's what I would offer.

Speaker 7 (36:34):
Well, I do know this.

Speaker 5 (36:35):
We're brought to you by DraftKings, the official sports betting
partner of the NFL. Right now, use the promo code
two Pros. That's the number two pros to claim your
special offer at DraftKings. Again, that's promo code two Pros
at DraftKings. The crown is yours, all right, it's coming
up next year on the show. It is a Wednesday tradition.
It's the good, the bad, and the ugly and of

(36:55):
yours right here on FSR.

Speaker 9 (37:00):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and

Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific.

Speaker 4 (37:11):
All around in my own town. They trying to meet down.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Trade.
They want to bring me in guty.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
For the killing of the Deputy LeVar Marley, for the
life of the Deputy Brady Quinn.

Speaker 5 (37:36):
I'd say, Jonas knocks of the hair.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
Say it a little bit more excitement than you boys
that yeah, don't want step on you.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Oh though you guys stepping on me.

Speaker 5 (37:46):
By the way, this isn't just a game. It's a
once in a generation event. The Harlem Globetrotters one hundred
Year Tour. Come be a part of a legacy that

at Harlem Globetrotter dot com. Up in a little over
ten minutes from now, we are going to have the
old p Petros Papadaka stop by a lot to discuss

(38:09):
with Petros. The Panic Brothers are out in full force
in LA with the collapse of the Dodgers' bullpen.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
So Petrialley bent a little bit about that. Yeah, not
great last night, that was not great. But right now
it is time for this.

Speaker 9 (38:25):
There are some good things that happen, and there's some bad,
and then there's some downright ugly things. It's time for good,
bad and lovely, all.

Speaker 5 (38:35):
Right, Ian Roddy, executive producer, who's got what? All right?

Speaker 4 (38:39):
That's right? It is the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Let's start off with the good.

Speaker 5 (38:43):
And I want to hear from Brady Quinn. Brady tell
me what was good this week?

Speaker 7 (38:47):
Oh thanks, Ian, I appreciate the opportunity. They don't really
give me a chance to do the good very often.
So maybe it's names because you're doing our producing. I'm
gonna say the good is. I know I'm gonna get
a lot of flak for saying this. The Ryder Cup
it's a cool event. I'm all about the USA, I'm
all about America.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
There you go. See, I just I get it.

Speaker 7 (39:09):
But any time I think you can represent your country,
all right, there's something to that, there's something cool. But
I know LeVar is not that patriotic because he's gonna
try to act like he is. But I'm like, all four,
anytime you can represent your country. We've got some golfers
doing it this week in New York. It's awesome if
you've never been. And by the way, I challenge LeVar

(39:30):
to go, because I'm sure he's got a lot of
penn State a lums who I guarantee you are going
to the Ryder Cup at some point and then coming
in for the game. It's an incredible atmosphere and incredible experience.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
So that is the good for this week. A really
really cool golf tournament.

Speaker 5 (39:46):
All right, very nice. Let's get to the bad, LeVar,
What do you got this week? What was bad?

Speaker 4 (39:50):
Brady's good?

Speaker 7 (39:55):
I can actually substitute one. It's gonna be Penn State
beaten again.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
The clip and the maybe we could say Notre Dame's
record right now, maybe that's the bad for the week.

Speaker 7 (40:11):
And I was gonna look at the end of the season, though,
you look at each other being like, it's the same record.

Speaker 4 (40:15):
Dang, dang, you know my my bad for the week
after all of Brady Quinn Shenanigan's with his good and
what he just did. I saw what he just tried
to do.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
Uh, you had to caught back. Oh goodness, look at that.

Speaker 4 (40:34):
I can take it. Wait, hold on, Paus, I can
give it. And here's what I'm giving, tang. You know
what I can give. I'm gonna give you the injuries
of one Nick boach Bosa and as well as Cede Lamb.
Two teams that desperately need those two guys. And well

(40:56):
Dallas is one of those teams. What are they going
to do with this season? And to lose Ceedee Lamb
to that high ankle sprain is a terrible, terrible loss
for them to have to try to figure it out
one out and you know the forty nine ers are
already dealing with a ton of injuries. They're plagued by them,
and to lose their defensive end that has been such

(41:21):
a pillar of their defense and their team, that's a
tremendous loss for them. So that's my bad for the week.

Speaker 5 (41:28):
All right, Jonas, bring us home with the ugly.

Speaker 4 (41:31):
What was ugly this week?

Speaker 5 (41:32):
It's what's going on in Nashville with the Tennessee Titans.
Brian Callahan, the head coach, who already going into the season,
was up against it. He's got a rookie he's going
to be starting, He's got a front office shift where
you're moving pieces around guys that were in there when
he was hired, and now there's guys that were not
there when he was hired that are now taking over
the reins. Yesterday, he announced he's going to be giving

(41:55):
up play calling duties and he's going to He wanted
to let everybody know, you know, I don't I'm not,
you know, not concerned about my play calling. That wasn't
an issue for me. But I'm just gonna go ahead
and hand over the reins and become a better head coach.
Uh this way by giving it I can't imagine any
play calling head coach looks at that as a positive.
It feels like the writing is on the wall. They're

(42:17):
not a good football team. It doesn't look like they're
going to be good anytime soon. And instead we're going
to be looking at another case of a quarterback who
was drafted in the first round who one year in
is probably going to be looking at a different head
coach based on how things are going there. So that's
my ugly for the week, The Brian Callahan Tennessee Titan
situation there in the AFC South.

Speaker 4 (42:38):
So there's that.

Speaker 5 (42:39):
Did you think about that?

Speaker 4 (42:41):
Just trying to make sure that there is a breath
on this this this mic cover matches mine? Well, you
mean I must have left it on. Oh no, no, man,
that's like a Super eight bad huh what say?

Speaker 5 (42:56):
The smell like a great super Yeah?

Speaker 4 (42:58):
You got to make sure that this matches your smell,
you know what I mean? I must have left my
cover on here because it was in a communal place.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
Still bring its own.

Speaker 4 (43:08):
Yeah, I don't know, but I'll tell you. I'll tell
you what I bring the pink one Oh no, no, no,
that's gone
