(01:01):
Championship is on and live right now over at Royal
Troon in Scotland. Eddie garcias Yeah, Royal Troon over in Scotland.
Eddie Garcia has got updates top and bottom of the hour.
Have fun. Everybody wants to call it the Open Championship.
I'm calling it the British Open. Line in the sand

(01:22):
and I'm crossing it British Open, and that's what I'll
be referring to it as. So congratulations to who is
it Alex Norin, whoever the hell that is. You are
our leader at the British Open over at Royal Troon.
Maybe you have that, Brady Quinn, why don't you put
that in your gulf blow hard pipe.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
And see it's the first round, pal, I'd give some time.
You know, the winner's not announced still Sunday, so let's
not get too excited. It would be nice to see
live bet loser show up. I mean, in place a
bet this morning that probably won't win anyone money. But
here's a smart thing. If you bet against live bed Jesus,
I can almost assure you eighty percent, maybe nine of
the time, you will win that bet.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
That's why he doesn't get offended when people make jokes
about him losing, because they're focused on that as opposed
to Wow, I could actually make money to your point
and just bet the opposite, but they don't do that
because there are a bunch of cheap skates and morons
who don't pay attention to an opportunity and they want
to blow past it to be rude. So that's fine,
but again.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
We've we've tried to encourage people to be able to
bet against him, but they kind of get lost because
he never shows up. He gets he gets so insecure
about how bad he is it betting, So that's more.

Speaker 6 (02:32):
Of the issue.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Well, name calling is not going to get anybody anywhere
on this show to that right now, Dag all right,
it is uh something we've got to do.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
Really be going hard on lab Bite.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
I don't know what it is. I really don't like.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Literally, he's got it bet for lab Bet Jesus the
most lbj ain't got nothing on King Call.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Literally live bet Jesus has done next to you and
I the third most appear pearances with Brady Quinn on
the air in the history of the network.

Speaker 6 (03:03):
That's that's not I don't think that's true. That's one
hundred percent not true. I mean for sorters, Lee would
have more than a live bet loser. That's pretty much
everyone else that's been a part of our show.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Uh, Petros ab no, no, no, he's got a lead
on Petros.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
You think, oh he come up with doesn't mean y'all
seven years?

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Yeah, y'all came every week handed out winners.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
It was once a week though, Dude, you see how
you just said he gave out winners. Yeah, Lee, seriously
give me the Tracklad, you could probably count on two
hands how many bets he's won of him doing stuff.

Speaker 6 (03:36):
Yeah, over six years.

Speaker 7 (03:37):
Problem is I can't remember. I can't remember any That's
the problem.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Dang, there should be a show that's called Lave bet
Jesus and Lee.

Speaker 6 (03:48):
You know what I mean, Like Marley and Me type deal.
Like lave bet.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Jesus means here's the problem.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
That'd be great.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Lee is basking in celebrity because he got recognized at
the watering Oh yesterday, my listener of the show who
also got to meet Todd and like a legitimate listener
to the show. Lee, you want to retell that story?

Speaker 7 (04:08):
Yeah, Peter at the at Chimps.

Speaker 8 (04:10):
Yeah, the trivia master over at the local bar, was
talking sports with him, and then all of a sudden
he's like, wait a second, are you lead a lap?
And yeah, he's listened to the Third.

Speaker 7 (04:23):
Hour every day on his way to the gym. He's
we talked shop. It was a good time, Peter.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
You were pumped up that he knew who you were.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Yeah, doesn't happened too often.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
Lee loves the fandom that comes along with the mullet,
with the stories.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
You know it score top five or whatever. The you know.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
The best part about all that the guy never thought
to ask, what are you doing here? He's like, oh, well,
this makes sense. We're both here in the middle of
the day, bellied up to the bar or your Lee
with Todd.

Speaker 6 (04:58):
Yeah, actually that makes a great point.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
There's actually a better chance of people seeing Lee at
a bar than there's anywhere else in l a.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
Hey.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Lee the lap said that that Todd would actually try
to rival h Ingrid's rendition of the national anthem. I
thought it was an interesting, uh you know, interesting uh
discussion point there, you know about about Todd and.

Speaker 8 (05:25):
He should he should definitely uh do that some someday,
maybe at a Triple A game.

Speaker 7 (05:30):
Who knows.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
I would love to hear it.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
I'll tell you that maybe at a at an A
game he could off.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
Could you imagine him standing up in the AA.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
He need to get sounding off with before we get
started on our stories.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Alliance. He's got his left hand over his heart.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
It was a very serious thing. We're not making fun
of a a believe me, We're not. We're not doing Yeah,
listen to me. But it would be funny to hear
to hear him seeing the star spangled banner before they
got started with a meeting.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Listen, a lot of great ballplayers have to go through
double as truly need.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
And from what I hear, it's like, you know, rehab
is a super fun thing anyway, according to.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
To be nervous about.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
It, according to Ingrid, Yes that is true. All right,
So we've got the very latest on the DeVante Adams
rumors out there. Uh, you know, there's been a lot
of speculation whether or not DeVante Adams is going to
get traded at some point.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
You know, it doesn't appear like the Raiders are going
to be a playoff team this year. But nonetheless, he
was on with Club Shaysha with Shannon Sharp and he
did talk about the potential of reuniting with one Aaron
Rodgers and you know how he views himself with the Raiders.

Speaker 9 (06:51):
I answered like this, if I'm be reunited with anybody,
it would be Aaron, but or be you know, relocated
and be anyway would be with their But that's that's
not really my you know, it's a lot of that
stuff going on last year in the media and them asking,
you know, what are you gonna do about this? Are
you are you thinking about going here? And they talk

(07:11):
about whatever without even being involved in it, and it
ended up getting all the way to the point where
it got in the locker room and people was thinking
that it was you know, I was having force, and
I'm like, y'all just don't understand, man, I'm actively on
the Raiders. What do I look like sitting here talking
to other people about being on another team, you know,
And that's how I still feel about it right now,
Like I'm locked in with the Raiders, and I really

(07:33):
feel good about this team, and and you know, as
far as I know, they feel good about me. And
if that ever changed, if that got to a point
where they weren't feeling the same way, you know, I
ain't done playing, so obviously we would we will figure
out whatever we needed to figure out. But and the
thought of playing with Aaron, it's obviously amazing. Likes I
already know what that's like, you know, which was similar
to why I came here and and reunited with Derek

(07:56):
was because I had familiarity with it, you know, and
anytime you have that, you do a little bit more confidence
than starting fresh with somebody that you never played with before.
And it helps that when they're the best to ever
play the game.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
So that was DeVante Adams on Club.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
Few people opened up to huh.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
My favorite part of that was, Yeah, that's part of
the reason why I came here is because they.

Speaker 6 (08:18):
Can't play with the.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Familiarity of it about twelve games and he was gone.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
Better than playing with some people you don't know. Hmm.
Love playing with Aaron Rodgers. I mean, what would that
sound like saying.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
That that all stands up until you hear that Aaron
Rodgers has has a quote a sound bite that says
can't wait, can't wait to play with Davante Adams again,
Like where does where does that?

Speaker 6 (08:45):
Where? Where do we go from there?

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Doesn't that create a conflict of what Davante Adams is
saying versus what Aaron Rodgers has put out there.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
He's not finishing in the Year of the Raiders. I'll
say that I don't know if it gets done soon
now because of all the chatter. Maybe they wait for
it to calm down. Maybe it's a trade deadline deal.
But I just I don't see him finishing the year
with the Raiders. I think they're gonna be at a
point to where they're like, all right, he's what thirty
two and he's gonna need a new deal eventually. What

(09:14):
are we doing here. We're not in the playoff run.
We're not in the playoff hunt. We're gonna be drafting
a quarterback next year anyways, Like, let's.

Speaker 6 (09:22):
It's thirty one turns thirty two this year.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
I just before we go to the interrogate interrogation room,
you're a good cop. I'm bad cop. No no, no no,
I'm bad cop. You're a good cop. No no, no
no no. This is gonna work better if if you're
the good cop and I'm the bad cop. All right,
you go in there and you tell them everything they're
supposed to hear. Listen, I love playing for this team.
As long as they love me playing for the team.

(09:44):
Because I feel like they love I love playing for
this team, then we're gonna be good. But if something
were to go wrong with that, I still want to
play ball. This that great cop Yeah, I can't wait
for my man to come and play with me.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
Bad cop like.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
You putting it out there is out there, you know
what I mean? Like to say that it's baseless. It
is great on Devonte Adams on his part. And to
your point, Q, people open up the club Shay Shay
that you know why they open up to him, because
you're on a platform where you know everybody's gonna hear it,
and whatever it is that you're putting out there agenda wise,

(10:21):
you let him know what it's going to be before
you go on that show, and he supports that. That's why, guys,
that's why guys do the show. I wanted to take
my level up to this place. Kat Williams goes on
there and starts airing people out. Everybody wins in those scenarios.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
So let me ask you this though, because there's an
element of I guess with podcasting interviews. It's not like
a journalistic integrity right where you have to feel like
you need to dig down to the truth of something,
because that's that's typically how like when we've I've seen
things interviews mostly when when you watch them, you're mostly thinking, Okay,

(11:05):
this person's telling their side of things, but sometimes there
need to be needs to be some pushback. I don't
watch enough of Club Shays's interviews to know whether or
not he pushes back on things, because what you're saying
is basically like they tell them what they want to
talk about, and then they just lay into it and
he gets the content off it.

Speaker 6 (11:22):
He's able to, you know, profit off, and that's how
it works.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Sure, that's what I mean. I guess that's what it's about.
What I'm asking is, though, like what.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
You're saying, he doesn't. He doesn't push back. I've listened
to enough episodes to where it's it's a conversation where
he lets the guest let the people listening know all
about them.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
He'll hag it on to forumll it's a forum. He'll
eg it on a little bit like he'll hype it
up and he'll give his he'll give his opinions on it.
But it's definitely more conversationally driven, not more not based
in journalism per se. It's not you're not going to
he's not going to say, well, I spoke to such

(12:07):
and such and and having that conversation with this person,
they said this, how do you like you know or
whatever it may be. It's definitely just it's a conversational form,
but it's a conversational forum that's based off of, you know,
coming into it. There's a reason why that guy is
on the show. For one, on Club Shayhay's part, and

(12:28):
then for two the person that's coming on. They generally
have an agenda when they come on the show, so
it works out for both sides.

Speaker 6 (12:36):
You know, Yeah, that's what that was.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
You guys have talked about in the past, how you've
been on teams to where it was pretty evident early
on the saying looking good. Do you think at some
point this offseason or that DeVante Adams has seen something
from this team to where he's like, is this really
going to be how I spend the final post years

(12:58):
of my career? Is this going to be how I'm
gonna spend it? And maybe that's why this conversation in
the chatter got a little bit louder. He doesn't want
to be so vocal about it and kind of let
everybody else hand the message out and he's saying all
the right things. I'm blocked in on the Raiders, I'm
focused on the Raiders, but maybe so.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
When he ends up going and playing with Aaron Rodgers again,
that he can always reference back to Club Shaysha, Like
I told y'all I wanted to be here. I told
you I wasn't trying to get up out of here.
I told you guys exactly what I was feeling. So
there's no reason to have any malice or ill will
towards me based off of what's happening. It has to
be someone else. It can't be me, because I told

(13:38):
y'all during my interview what exactly what it was I
was thinking and what I was feeling. You're creating an
opportunity for plausible deniability. You've already laid your alibi out
and put it out there for everybody to consume on
a major platform where people listen.

Speaker 6 (13:55):
That's what I think.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Yeah, it's well, I mean, if only we had some
sort of a connection to the Raiders, like if we
could get somebody from the Raiders, like I feel.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
Like Jonas should be disappointed if Adams doesn't go to
the Jets. Because you've been saying this for like a
week and a half now, this has been your new
What story did you keep beating a dead horse with?

Speaker 6 (14:16):
There's something earlier this spring. You just could not stuff.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Oh, I mean Rogers, I mean the Rogers stuff we
went all in on.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
Hey.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
By the way, I think it's because you like how
you sound when you say Rogers.

Speaker 6 (14:27):
You know, it's like the commercial, Like you like how
it sounds.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
You listen, now, that guy's a clown. I'm anything, but
I'm a paaso and you know what that means. Here's
what about? What about this from Diana Rossini who said that, uh, yeah,
it's about Rogers and Robert Sala. Your your your guy lebar.
According to a report from The Athletic, after returning from

(14:52):
his trip to Egypt, Aaron Rodgers went to Robert Sala
to quote question why he would call it unexcused. Diana Rossini,
who reported this story, went on to say that Rogers
and Sala iron things out and everything's great now. So
there's yeah, they ironed everything out.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
So so is that translation?

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Aaron Rodgers had to set Xerxes straight on what he
needs to last time I ironed something.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
Mhmm, yeah, I never iron.

Speaker 6 (15:22):
Are you a steamer? You're more of a stammer than
an irony. No, I iron, It's just it's tough. Nowadays,
I try to find clothes in a wrinkle.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
You know, maybe that's like my relationships and people still
use starch.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
Good point, I don't think so.

Speaker 6 (15:36):
I grew up using starch. My mom taught me. Yeah,
heavy starch, heavy stars.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
There's some spray that you can get when you travel.
You like spray it on your No, no, you sprayed
on your clothes. It's like fabric softener stuff and you
like it gets out the wrinkles in your clothes and
then you just hang them up afterwards and you're good.

Speaker 6 (15:56):
I doubt you even ironing it now.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
You don't need to iron like ironing is for. And
I'll be and I'm not trying to offend anybody who ironed,
who might be ironing right.

Speaker 6 (16:04):
Careful with this radio app. But I just want to
be careful with this talking to two people who iron.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (16:09):
I'm just like, you know, we're military kids.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Just be very careful with ironing and heavy starch increases
and stuff.

Speaker 6 (16:15):
Be careful and good.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
For you because I don't iron. I pump iron. Okay.
So if you guys grew up standing over an ironing board,
I was in the weight room throwing stuff over that.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
I want to work out with Jonas because I want
to see Actually he says all this, like I've got
this idea in my mind of him curling like fifteen's
you know him?

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Yeah, this is it, Yes, so trying to get Tony you.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
I got this mental vision of him having on a
multicolor had band matching wristbands, very very short, like you know,
like the dude that just passed away, like shorts like that,
shorts like that, and tube socks pulled up to his
knees with with Chuck Taylers.

Speaker 6 (16:55):
Most of those are dirty. And his hamper, his hamper
dang with with with Leady with Lee Lee Marks.

Speaker 5 (17:04):
Yeah, cut vegetables with us.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
That's a backscratcher nowadays. Uh, I didn't even know.

Speaker 6 (17:13):
You might Watson bending next to it.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
You might see Labari, you might see a few of
those guyanes. You never know.

Speaker 6 (17:21):
Stop calling it Guyane days.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
What's it called? What is it called?

Speaker 6 (17:29):
It's called Front Tier Days.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
But it's in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Yes, why are you calling it Guyaney?

Speaker 4 (17:38):
That's what I thought. I got confused. I'm sorry sorry
about that. It is two pros.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
And there immediately after the show, I'm on my way
Baby Damn.

Speaker 6 (17:51):
It is just for walking.

Speaker 4 (17:52):

Come on, are they deliver? Why does he need to
go there?

Speaker 7 (19:33):
I do you know members of Toto?

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Though?

Speaker 6 (19:36):
Oh? Nice, you met one of them delivering on my pizza.

Speaker 7 (19:39):
I'm friends with their son. What the yeah? Their their sons?
Because I think two members a.

Speaker 6 (19:48):
Well, remember the name by the suddenly that's his name.

Speaker 7 (19:52):

Oh yeah, okay, you're afraid enough everyone, my buddy, you
forget my.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
Friends me, my buddy Quinny.

Speaker 7 (20:04):
There's like three pos in the band too.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Well, what's Quinn's first thing? I don't know close, it's
not really important.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
This is this is what I'm saying. But this is
what Lee does. By the way, two pros and a
cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio, this is what Lee does.
He just drops tidbits about his hanging out with celebrities
all the time.

Speaker 11 (20:31):
Now it's you know, members of Toto, uh, the son
of one of the of one of the members. I
forget which one is, either the drummer or the bass
but yeah, we go to his house and party there
all the time, the pocars.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
You ever get into his liquor cabinet?

Speaker 7 (20:45):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, he had a good one.

Speaker 6 (20:47):
But you don't know his name.

Speaker 5 (20:50):
I think, Sam, that's so sad man, because you know
what you sound like right now, Lee, You sound like
one of those dudes just used to use.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
Them for his night liquor cabinet. Yes, I never really
got to know the guy.

Speaker 8 (21:02):
Yeah, Sam, He's also a member of a band that
I It's a good band called.

Speaker 6 (21:08):
I forgot the name of the bands.

Speaker 7 (21:12):
Tino Drama. Tino.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Oh yeah, what.

Speaker 7 (21:21):
Great band. Check him out, Tino Drama. What do you know, Drama?

Speaker 4 (21:23):
What do you remember from their liquor.

Speaker 6 (21:25):
Tino Drama, I mean Tino Drina.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
What do you remember from their liquor cabinet?

Speaker 2 (21:30):
Lee?

Speaker 4 (21:30):
What they have?

Speaker 6 (21:31):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (21:31):
Well, I can't remember.

Speaker 6 (21:32):
But was the top?

Speaker 8 (21:33):
I remember it was a very nice dark mahogany liquor
cabinet with a clear, clear glass.

Speaker 7 (21:41):
That was what?

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Were there any spirits from Africa up in there? Were
there any participants from Africa up in there?

Speaker 7 (21:56):
Back then?

Speaker 4 (21:56):
Now, yeah, you didn't have that acquired taste yet.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
He hadn't evolved, that's true. Maybe it was those trips
over there. Maybe you didn't realize you was drinking the
elixir that took you.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
To the that was before his pathport.

Speaker 6 (22:17):
You was drinking gummy beerry juice. You ain't know it.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
Oh man, they have hypnotically or no, oh you know what?

Speaker 7 (22:28):
Hypnotic was always there?

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Did they have Hennessy too, parties?

Speaker 8 (22:32):
I don't remember hennessy, but the hypnotic was definitely always
a constant.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
You do know if you mix hypnotic and Hennessy you
get the incredible Hulk.

Speaker 6 (22:39):
You do know that what it's called? Yeah, now I know.

Speaker 7 (22:43):
Put on game. I'm gonna try it.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
You don't want to know why they call it the hulk, though,
well try it didn't tell us why?

Speaker 4 (22:52):
What? What does that mean?

Speaker 2 (22:54):
The drink turns green, but it'll turn you green too,
you know, just try come back and tell us how.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
That sounds sounds like a problem. It also sounds like
we might have a little bit of a problem with well,
at least for Daniel Jones. Brian day Ball was well,
you can just listen to it. Here was a back
and forth between Giants head coach Brian Dayball and Joe Shane,
the general manager. This was courtesy of Hard Knocks off season.

Speaker 7 (23:23):
Daniels, Have you guys seen enough that you would trade
up for him?

Speaker 6 (23:27):
Daniels? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (23:27):
I would, yes. So that's the head coach of Daniel
Jones talking about whether or not they would trade up
for Jaden Daniels in the draft.

Speaker 6 (23:35):
Does a whole lot of Daniels flying around?

Speaker 4 (23:37):
Yeah, a lot of it.

Speaker 6 (23:41):
Sound's a quick clip there. We don't want to expand
on that anymore.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
Pretty much the gist of it from what we've got.
There's also the back and forth talking about Saquon Barkley
playing for the Eagles. John Mara, the owner of the Giants,
talking with Joe Shane about how things could end up
with Saquon Barkley in the midst of the negotiations, and
this is how it went. What's the latest.

Speaker 8 (24:07):
I just got a text that Chicago's driving the price up.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
And Philly's out. I don't know if that's true or.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Not, which I don't know.

Speaker 6 (24:13):
If I'll make a couple of calls.

Speaker 7 (24:15):
I don't even know if that's gonna gonna happen. But
I have a tough time to sleep.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
And if Sique goes to Philadepe the outside of that,
as I've told you, just being hop I han't been
around enough players, but he's the most popular player we
have by far.

Speaker 6 (24:30):
Well that makes absolutely zero sense.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
Then make it make sense, Q, make it make I can't.

Speaker 5 (24:37):
I mean I again, I think they just valued They're
they're showing you their hand. It's twofold. They made an
investment into Daniel Jones a couple of years back now,
so they're showing you that they believe for one and
Daniel Jones, when healthy, it's capable of being their quarterback.

(25:00):
And if they're wrong, they're gonna be stubborn about it,
and they're gonna delay it until next year in that
draft class will address it then, and they're investing into
that quarterback and passing game. That's the obvious thing in
all of this, which is it's interestingly because if you
look at the forty nine ers and who they decided
to pay so far this offseason, it's Christian McCaffrey and

(25:22):
Saquan has a very similar skill set as far as
his ability to.

Speaker 6 (25:25):
Impact the passing game and running game.

Speaker 5 (25:27):
And to the point of what we heard in the audio,
he's everyone's favorite player. I mean, to me, he was
the motive that made that offense run. And now you
don't have him anymore, and so now you're really gonna
test the theory on how you feel about Daniel Jones.
They go get Mylige Neighbors, which is an investment into
Daniel Jones, And we'll see what happens.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
With the Giants this year, but it could be a
frustrating year. The few things they have going for are
the defense.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
Last year was pretty good and I think it will
be very good now.

Speaker 6 (25:59):
I'm not sure what.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
It's going to look like without wink Mark and Martindale
calling the defense. But personnel wise, they've invested into They've
they've improved on that side of the ball. They've tried
to help out the offensive line, Daniel Jones should be
back healthy.

Speaker 6 (26:13):
All those things are working for them.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
So it just comes down to can they win enough
football games not to feel the heat and the pressure
of the mistake of letting go Saquon in my opinion,
but that's I mean, that's what happens when you you
literally draft a guy and you have the guy in
the house, and you don't value him enough to say, yeah,
we're willing to pay him extra two to three million
a year because we feel like he means that much

(26:38):
to our organization.

Speaker 6 (26:39):
And so you let him go. And of course he's
gonna have the chance to go to a place like Philly.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
They value that sort of thing, and they get to
see him now twice a year at least.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
You kind you may mention of another major departure outside
of Saquon and wink Martin Dale. Now he rolls out
like I do believe he left, right, He wasn't let go.
He left to go to Michigan to be the decoordinator. Correct, well,
they let go.

Speaker 5 (27:07):
I believe this is how the story works. Giants fans
you know, don't kill me if I'm wrong. But they
made some defensive staff changes, and I believe he was
upset about that and that led to him leaving.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
And him and Brian da Ball had issues last year,
dust ups, if you will.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
But one are your favorite phrases, Yeah, which to me
that that screams. That's screaming if you got a guy
that had the success, because it was a lone bright
spot for this New York Giants team. If you had
that success in a market like New York, and you
had a belief in say the offense, say the quarterback,

(27:49):
say the direction they're going in, You're going to figure
out a way to to you know, to grill that up,
wrap it up neatly, and eat it and continue to
be the defensive coordinator of a unit in one of
the largest media markets in the country. But yet you leave,

(28:12):
you stab out and by the way you go to college.
That says to me, that screams, I'm getting the hell
out of Dodge. Saquon Barkley not wanting to do a
deal that makes him signable to the New York Giants,
and the Giants are sitting there talking about Chicago's running

(28:33):
the the price up, dah da da, this, that and
the other, and you're not just trying to sign him,
but Saquan's not trying to be signed.

Speaker 6 (28:41):
They're getting out of Dodge. People are getting out of Dodge.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
That's two of your main pieces of your team that
got the hell up out of there.

Speaker 6 (28:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
I mean, I'm not one to be big on speculation,
but if I'm looking at it from that perspective, there's
something that ain't. There's there's something that's not passing the
sniff test. And in the Giants, in the Giants front
office or in that facility, something is not right in
New York. And throw in there, by the way, throw

(29:15):
in there the fact that you did pay the one
entity that was probably the most questionable of them all,
and Daniel Jones, and now you have a and and.

Speaker 6 (29:27):
The guy that you paid.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Now you have a SoundBite that surfaces that says that
you would have traded up to get jayde Daniels if
you could.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
This is why they got to stop doing hard knocks,
like it just makes people look bad, like this makes
Joe Shane look bad, It makes the Giants look dysfunctional.
It makes it like I don't know what good comes
out of this, Like I don't know what good is
going to come out of the AFC North Cam Hayward
doesn't want to do it, like nobody wants to do this,
And it's another example of no, we've got to have

(29:58):
inside access to see how this stuff goes. If you
just let it be. And Saquon's in Philly and you
want to paint the narrative however you want to paint
it that's fine, but now you've got to Levar's point,
a quarterback who knows you would have taken another quarterback
in the draft had you had the opportunity, and you've
got a fan base who knows. Wait, so our GM

(30:19):
doesn't even know how to read this right, and it's
getting mixed signals. And then Saquon left for a little
bit more than the deal that we are. I just
I don't know who this benefited them signing up for this.
Clearly they don't have creative control, because if they did,
none of that should be seen.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
I was just gonna say, isn't that part of the deal.
I don't know a lot of these teams have editing
control or you know, last rud refusal to.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
Put something out there.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
I can't imagine they would if that's what they were, Like, Yeah,
that sounds good, That makes it sound all right, Like
I don't get it, man, I mean, it's it's fascinating
to get an inside look like that, but I don't know,
like who it's like, you know, a reality show, like right,
none of that ever ends well for anybody on a
reality show. And yet here we are, so Levar's giants man,

Speaker 6 (34:13):
Cut it off.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
We don't have time to list all of them, so
we just wanted to united cut it off. You gotta
find the common denominator here.

Speaker 6 (34:20):
Did you say top six man off the bench? Damn
getting himself today. He cracks himself up.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
Because he's ready for Guyanes. That's why stop saying that.
