one I hear that I want Cherry redback. That's the one.
I mean, you never know it is welling gospel. After this,
you are yeah nice, I'm thinking about it. Well, it

us on hundreds of affiliates all over the country. Here
on this Wednesday morning. The Cleveland Browns uh and their
quarterback situation interesting to say the least. They've got, like
(01:53):
I believe, thirty eight quarterbacks currently on the roster. Deshaun
Watson's just sitting around. Uh, Canny Pickett's got a hamstring issue.
Joe Flacco's getting most of the ones, and then you've
got Dylan Gabriel and you've got shad Or Sanders first
and foremost. The Browns owner Jimmy Haslam spoke yesterday about
(02:15):
the process that went into drafting one Shador Sanders and
said it went down like this.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
We have good process, okay.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
And if you just told me Friday night driving home
you all are going to pict Shador, I would say
that's not happening. But we had a conversation early that
morning and then we had a conversation later that day.
I think we had the right people involved in the
conversation at the end of the day.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
That's Andrew Berry's call. Andrew made the call to picture door.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
All right, anybody buying that because I'm not now.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
I'm like, you take it first. I'm curious to hear. Oh.
I mean, he's going to put on Andrew Berry. But
I think anytime you draft a player, especially like Shador
who you kind of know what's coming along with that. Uh,
given the Anders family, there's no doubt that the owner
was involved because the owner is going to have to
(03:07):
deal with questions like this in the future. So think
about it this way. If Andrew Berry just took him right.
And this is very similar to when you go back
to the still shot we had of Arthur Blank or
even the video clip of Arthur Blank talking to the
general manager of the Falcons last year, after you know,
signing Kirk Cousins and then drafting Michael Pennix. There's this like, Okay,
(03:31):
help me understand what's going on here. There's those moments,
same thing would have happened, you know, where Jimmy Hassel
was like calling Andrew Barry going, what are we doing?
We've we've got a guy who's injured, we've got a veteran,
we've got another guy we traded for. We already drafted
a guy in the third round. Now we're taking a
guy in the fifth round? Like, like, what's what's the
plan here? There would there would need to be an explanation.
(03:52):
And honestly, the one that probably has the most following
or media attendant, he's going to be the fifth round pick.
So Jimmy Haslam had to have been a part of
the decision making process because of that alone. Now will
he take the fault for it when it's also and done?
Of course not. You know, no different than the other
(04:15):
head coaches or general manager general managers that Jimmy Haslm
has had that he's fired, where he's probably played a
factor in some of those decisions. Right, it's his team
not going to fire him as owner, So he just
has people underneath him that have to be able to
fall on the sword. So I don't think there's any
doubt Jimmy Haslm was involved, whether he wants to admit
(04:36):
it or not, you know to what degree? Who knows?
I mean, I've heard all kinds of things of how
this came together, and no matter how you slice it
or which way it's discussed, he was involved.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
What sort of things? What do you mean? What can
you share?
Speaker 2 (04:59):
I will put it this way. The league is very connected,
and there are times where you have agents who have
multiple players on a team, and there are times where
you'll get people who you know they want to do
favors or be good on some certain things. I know
it sounds vague, but I'll kind of just leave it
at that because I don't want to go into it
(05:22):
too much more. But that happens sometimes. So where you
have an agent with a star player on a team
and maybe a guy who's younger or you know, he's
looking to get a roster get a shot. Maybe he
gets that shot.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
I'm gonna say this, And looking at the scenario and
how it all played out, all of the tension that
was focused in on sh Door during the draft, they
had to know what they were getting themselves into the
(06:00):
moment they said we're entering our pick as Shador Sanders,
our selection for Shador Sanders at that point in the draft.
The first thing I felt when I heard Haslam say
that was he's distancing himself from the connection to the pick,
(06:21):
and I wonder is this a distancing so that if
if it doesn't play out the way that you know,
maybe people wanted to play out, that he's not further
to blame because it seems as though Haslam gets a
bad rap as an owner, Like it seems like a
(06:42):
lot of people attacked Jimmy Haslam, especially after Deshaun Watson
deal that took place.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
So now, on.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
One side of it, there was a major commitment made
at the position, and you took heat for it and
you caught hell for it.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
And outside of.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Shador Sanders having a fair opportunity to play himself into
the position or out of the position, it seems as
though any decision that is made about Shador Sanders will
also place Jimmy haslm in a not so glowing, a
(07:25):
not so popular narrative to the fan base and throughout
the media. It almost gives me the stench or the
stink of Shador Sanders. Again here it is he may
not make this team. It may not play out where
Shador Sanders ends up on this roster or on this team.
(07:50):
And if he does it, Jimmy HASLM can say, Hey,
I don't make those decisions. Those decisions do not fall
on my hands. Our GM makes the decisions on the personnel,
and our head coach makes the decision on who plays.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
And that's that.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
So if you want to get mad, get mad at
the GM, get mad at the head coach, because the
head coach didn't see him as a guy that was
going to help this team in a way where he
would be playing, and the GM felt it as though
we could use that roster spot for someone else that
could come in and potentially help our team more.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
That's what this says to me.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Have the Browns ever handled a quarterback situation correctly? Like
even the guy.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
That Well Bernie coach for they moved, probably.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
But like even the guy who they identified as the
number one pick and won a playoff game and played well,
they decided one injury riddled season was enough and he's
got to go, And then they bring into Sean Watson.
That didn't work. Joe Flacco was there, played well enough,
and they still let him walk the next offseason and
then finally brought him back. In the same offseason, they
(09:03):
brought in three other quarterbacks, Pickett, Dylan Gabriel Shores. You
just start to look back through the history of all
this and there's a common denominator and it's Jimmy Haslam.
So the idea that Jimmy Haslam was the guy who
had to have Deshaun Watson an overpaid for him and
he was our guy, and you know, we need to
move on from Baker Mayfield and now he's going to
step back, you know, at training camp and just be like, oh,
(09:26):
I had nothing to do with this. No, that wasn't me.
Everything else was, but this one, No, this definitely wasn't me.
I just the whole thing's just just a circus. And
I can't think of one time where you look at
it and go because like Baker Mayfield mentioned this, he
was on with the kel season. He mentioned he was like, listen, man, like,
not my problem anymore. You know, they wanted to make
(09:48):
a call. I thought I played played pretty well there,
but they wanted to go in a different direction. And
now I'm off to bigger and better things. And you
see how well he's played when he's healthy and in
a stable environment. It's like you can no longer just
out quarterbacks that have gone through Cleveland with this much
evidence that that place doesn't know how to handle quarterbacks.
(10:10):
It just doesn't. They've proven it for decades now.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Yeah, I mean the tough part is, look, this is
a franchise team that unfortunately has kind of still operated
at times as a franchise, you know, expansion franchise. You know,
that's what this was when the team came back in
ninety nine. This is not the team that left, the
team that moved in the Nights of Baltimore. You know,
that was a super Bowl winning team, that was a
super Bowl winning culture. And even though the Browns at
(10:35):
that point had won a super Bowl, there was some
excellence there. There was competitiveness there, There was consistency there.
You know, you look at the time with Randy Lerner,
you know who took over the team, who was a
part of you know, my draft class, you know, and
the way that got turned over to Jimmy Haslam, I
want to say in October twenty twelve. You know, really
(10:57):
there's just been constant turnover. You know, if you want
to point to quarterbacks, you can. What makes it hard
is the head coach and general manager ride lockstep with
a lot of quarterbacks. And so if you're gonna look at, well,
how much turnover I have they had the quarterback position,
well a lie, but they've also had at the head
coach general manager position. I mean the past thirteen years,
(11:18):
or excuse me, the past what twelve years, they've had
five head coaches, they've had five general managers all fired.
I mean, you want to throw in quarterbacks that mix too.
That's just what Jimmy haslong. That's not even under Randy
Lerner when I was there. I mean it's it's like,
so you basically get about a two year average to
try to turn things around an organization. I think, if
(11:40):
we're all being honest, it's really hard to turn around
an organization in two years, even if you don't like
any of the players, just to flip the rosters in
free agency and through the draft. You need more than
two years to be able to have something to prove.
And it's been tough. And look, Stefanski is a great coach.
I really do believe that. There's there's reason why he's
(12:01):
one Coach of the Year awards multiple times. You know,
hopefully they give him the patience to get through this
season because this could be a very trying season for
this team. Given the quarterback situation, given where they're at,
you know, with some different spots in the team, and
they just lost one of the starting quarterback or cornerbacks,
Martin Emerson I believe, just tore his achilles yesterday, so
(12:23):
they're already down to another starter. I mean, these sorts
of things happen. And you know, in my experience in
two thousand and seven, when our team won ten to six,
didn't make the playoffs, but ten wins is still good
in the NFL. You go into the next year, we've
got a fourth string quarterback starting our week seventeen, last
game of the season. I mean, that's that's never a
good sign for how the season went. And if you
(12:46):
can't be patient, if you can't work through that adversity,
and you know, tune out the media that's gonna come
in and hammer you for whatever they don't know that
you should have done, or you know, anything else, they're
gonna say, you're always having issues. So look this look,
Jimmy has them. The one thing I'd say, I'd say
to his credit is he has thrown a ton of
(13:08):
money at this team. He paid his best player, Miles Garrett,
who's a future Hall of famer. He's I mean, he tried,
Like whatever you want to say with the Shawn Watson situation,
he tried. They saw a guy they valued, they saw
a guy they thought maybe could be the answer, and
they dumped the greatest contract in NFL history in his lap.
And unfortunately it's been anything but. And now it feels
(13:30):
like they're ready to move on. Whether it's this year,
next year, however that's gonna work out. But he's trying.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
If everybody else in the NFL has to operate under
a contract, so should owners. Because if that was the case,
Jimmy Haslm would have been fired four times. He's never
gonna I mean, just like you don't get to own
a team. You get to own a team for four
years with with a within an NFL option for a fifth.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
That's like saying if you owned a network, like let's
say you owned up on Game, you know, I mean,
I just I don't see that. There's not a world
where an owner of a network like up on Game
would allow himself to sign a contract where you someone
like you could fire Hi Jonas.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
Yeah, but the LeVar would have already gotten an extension
because they've performed the Browns advocate.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
You guys are funny. That's the points of that's the
point of creating ownership. So you don't have to work
for anyone. You get to you get to dictate your value,
you get to dictate the rules. So and that's what
owners have have worked to do, and that's that's the
position there in. But again I think that I feel
like Haslam is in a position where he did he
(14:39):
did the right thing by Miles Garrett.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
He did do that. This is a team that has potential.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
They they you know, they did sustain the injury in
the secondary, but all in all, this is still a
pretty solid roster, as you guys mentioned, with a solid
hey coach. And so to me, I think it's interesting
that within all of the things that could be looked
(15:08):
at and viewed with this team and this organization in
a positive in a positive manner, it still finds its
way connected to a narrative that is kind of adversarial
or it's kind of of not glowing. It's not positive,
(15:31):
it's it's just there's so much minutia connected to what's
you know, discussed about the Cleveland Browns, and that's obviously
a symptom of not winning, underperforming. But I do wonder,
I do wonder. Is this team a team that is
(15:51):
flying under the radar? Are they a team that could
contend or be competitive in the North this year?
Speaker 2 (16:00):
There's a good question.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
He is a good he is a good coach, and
this this is a and it's a team you guys
have been high on in the past.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
You know, well, yeah, you know what I mean. But hey,
that that's a great question. It leads you to this.
It's now time for another Who has the lowest over
underwind total in the NFL season twenty five? Yeah, let's go,
all right, let's go, all right, Jonas your first up?
All right, all right, who has name me a team
(16:30):
that you think has the lowest over to wind total
for the twenty twenty five NFL season. I hate to
say it, but go ahead, Jonas.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Jonaph's first, your first? God, who's going to be brutal
this year? I'll go Cleveland?
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Yeah, correct, The Cleveland Browns currently sits with a four
and a half over under wind total for the season. LeVar,
you know, Jonas kind of jumped in with the first one.
Do you want to throw out another team? Do you
want to throw out another team that's close in their proximity.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
I'm gonna go with this team, but I'm I think
they're a dark horse, and I think I think they
have a ton of potential.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Is the right?
Speaker 3 (17:12):
That's a pass?
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Jonas back to you. Name another team they feel like
it's close in proxisity. It's the New York Giants. Cute
the New York jo curly currently sitting at five and
a half wins for the over under. They're total for
the upcoming season. LeVar back to you, would you like
to throw in another team? Sure, the New Orleans Saints.
(17:35):
That is not correct, The Orleans Saints. Give it a go.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
Wait, the Saints are projected.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
They actually should be down there.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
The Saints are projected. You know, it's great.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
That's how that's how bad the division is.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
By the way, you know, you know it's hilarious about
the Browns. So the Browns are expected to win less
games than they currently have quarterbacks on the roster. That's
how bad that team is. They are brutal. If I
was Stefanski, look, I don't know if he's already put
his place up, but I'd be like, man, I got
to get the hell out of here. Like, let me
(18:09):
go be a coach somewhere that actually wants to spend
the time to develop quarterbacks in a productive way, because
this is a mess.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
By the way, the Saints are also LeVar. They are
also at five and a half wins. Jonas. There's a
couple more we could throw in the mix here, Okay,
the Jets, that's right, New York Jets also sit at
five and a half wins. And there's one more that
I feel like it was rather obvious. I technically think.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
They feel like I have an obvious one. Who's that
the Titans? There you go, that's the final round.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
I would have thought though they would have the lowest.
Is that just me? I mean, I think the Titans
are in there. I just know.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
I just saw an article the other day on how
hard the schedule is or the Giants and that that.
So that's all Canada had that front of mine.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
Oh yeah, this sol Russell Wilson's stuff. Like it's a
matter of time before Jackson darts a starter there, I believe, like,
I think he's gonna be the start.
Speaker 4 (19:13):
Of a tough schedule. Man, it's a tough schedule. Yeah,
And that's the one thing they have working against them.
But I just I look at the Browns and I
just I just wonder if they are a team that
may sneak up on some people, And do you have
does any quarterback not named Shador Sanders not have the
(19:36):
pressure of the world on their shoulders to perform? And
and how do you lessen that that type of pressure
if you're internally handling things, I think it may be
you have to get rid of Shador Sanders because as
long as Shador is on that that roster, everybody's gonna
(19:58):
want him to be the starter, whether he's third string, practice, practice, squad, whatever,
that's going to be the main focus of the media
and of the fans.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
I mean, it's a tough spot. I've heard you. You've
talked about him not make the roster more than anyone
else I've heard talk about the Browns if it happens.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
If it happens, I'm just I'm just saying, more often
than not, if his name is not Shador Sanders and
it's not connected to what he's connected to in terms
of popularity and coverage, it's a it's a very very
small opportunity for that player to make the squad. If
(20:43):
he's a fifth round draft pick with a roster that
already has three quarterbacks ahead of that player.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
If it's just in.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
General, that's probably the gentle general sentiment of what it
would be. And that's the only that's the only reason
I'm living in is is that.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
That's what it would be. So does practice squad count,
I mean, tend to you that's not making the roster. However,
I could see it a very likely scenario that he
makes the practice squad and then at some point during
the season gets brought up. And as I've said before,
I also think the other wildcard is depending on how
(21:23):
close Dylan Gabriel and Shador Sanders are to Kenny Pickett,
especially if he's not able to practice as much with
the hamstring injury I believe he's dealing with. There's a
probably a thought that they go in with Flacco and
then you've got your two backups that are younger, because
you know, they they're not too far off from where
(21:43):
Kenny Pickett is, and combined, I mean, they're probably you know,
making about the same even though I'm pretty sure pick
ITT's on a one year, one year dealers you got
one year left on his deal, But either way I
reason point.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
I think what you're saying is it's a reasonable thought process,
and it's a it's a reasonable approach. I think what's
really going to be interesting is if you place him
on the practice roster depending on what he's able to
do body of work in this small period of time
during the preseason. I'm not so certain that somebody who
(22:19):
maybe have felt like they should have pulled the trigger
on them and didn't. Maybe somebody doesn't play up to
the level of what they needed to play at in
the preseason. I think somebody else comes to the table
if he gets placed on that practice squad, and Cleveland
Brown's are going to have a decision that they have
(22:40):
to make, which to me, would further the narrative of
the idea that why is Shador Sanders not in a
better position to play for the Cleveland Browns Like so,
to me, I don't feel like Cleveland is in a
very very good position as it applies to having Shador
(23:03):
Sanders on their roster, whether practice squad or active, unless
you give him the opportunity to be the direct backup.
I think backup is a win or starter. But it's
a win.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
But why would anybody sign him off the practice squad
if they haven't seen anything of him to suggest that
that would be a move they would want to make.
They had all the opportunity to the world and they
let him sit.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
He would have to get enough. To me, he would
have to get enough work in the preseason burn time
we call it to warrant. Well, there won't be burn
time in the preseason because I'm assuming, I'm assuming that
the backups are going to play the bulk of the plays.
The way this new way of approaching the preseason is
(23:51):
the backups are going to get pretty much all the reps.
So you're going to get an opportunity to see Chador
Sanders compete in the preseason. And then now that's a
body of work that these scouts and these gms are
going to get to look at. And I'm sure he's
going to be at the top of everybody's list to
look at and say, if he goes to the practice
(24:12):
squad or worse, if he's released, is this a guy
that we would want to bring into our organization. And
there's been a lot of things that he's done during
the offseason because of the amount of attention on him
where you can say, Okay, well, he's not hurting himself
outside of the speeding, but he's not really done anything
to hurt himself reputation wise. There's nothing that he's done
(24:34):
that would say that he's going to be a headache
or a problem in your locker room and in your organization.
So he's building up equity for who he is as
an NFL player. I mean, I just think that it's
a little bit of a He's in a difficult situation.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
He's going to need a couple of injuries to really
get a shot, just like Dak Prescott. Dak Prescott had
two quarterbacks go down in front of him and then
he got a shot in the preseason and then was
off and running.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
But LeVar, what would you be willing to do if
Schador makes the either roster or practice squad? I mean,
do we have anything.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
On the line I would I would be willing to
say that it played out differently than the way that
I thought it would play out.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
That's I would be willing to admit.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
That that my reasoning was off on the scenario.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Would you be willing to have Christian Wilkins on as
a guest on up on game? He's not in studio studio.
I can't can't, can't take any chances with a comrade.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
He gets. I don't think I'm strong to tickle your
toes for one second's.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
Strong enough to I'll tell you this. If I have
Christian Wilkins there for the interview, I'd have mister Sticks there.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
And then we can do it. How about that? We
can do it when you ain't going to that. So man,
when he's done with the segment, he gets to kiss
you on top of the forehead. Listen.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
Mister doesn't like strangers touching mister Sticks. So if both
mister Styx's are in in the in the studio, we
could do it.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
We could do it.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
But if I don't have the muscle there with me,
I can't do it because me myself, I don't think
I could, you know, if I if I jumped up
on him like hey man, that's inappropriate, Like don't do that.
I don't know that I could, you know, get out
of that one. I had my burner. I had my
burner with me. I know, I keep my burner with me.
So I mean one of the two or both I
(26:37):
do the interview. But if not, like nah, I'm gonna
have to pass on that one. That's that's a little
bit too risky. It is for my reputation.
Speaker 3 (26:45):

You know, djodl Lea, you know you.

Speaker 7 (29:03):

is always tough for a commissioner, but I think I'm
doing pretty good so far.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
They give again after taking all the money as commissioner
last year, Uh huh, they're gonna let you be the
commissioner again.
Speaker 8 (29:17):
Well I am the commissioner.
Speaker 7 (29:18):
Yeah, everyone got paid, and you know I did win
some of that money, so it was mine.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
What a racket?
Speaker 8 (29:26):
What a racket?
Speaker 3 (29:27):
You literally took the money and spent it on either stuff.
Hey are those are those bums that did the soup
kitchen in your car? Are they part of the bracket?
Speaker 2 (29:34):
Well?
Speaker 3 (29:35):
Yeah, yeah, where do the bums picked this year? Uh?
Speaker 7 (29:37):
Well I did have to kick out one of the
bums that that one being Todd. Todd's got kicked out
of the league this year.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
And uh yeah he got kicked out.
Speaker 8 (29:45):
Yeah he wanted out. He's he's just too lazy.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
He's got too much stuff.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
Well, impression, I.
Speaker 8 (29:52):
Don't think so.
Speaker 7 (29:53):
I'm not good with impressions in general. I don't know
where I would start on a Todd impression.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
Do we have a drop? I need to hear his
voice to get like a sample of what it sounds like.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
But Lee is uh fighting through something. He's in a
little bit of pain.
Speaker 7 (30:06):
I had some pokey nachos yesterday before the movie, and
then a nice little cheeseburger, uh, bacon avocado cheeseburger after
the movie.
Speaker 8 (30:14):
It's great.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Why would any of that Stomachally, I'm not upset.
Speaker 8 (30:20):
Jonas is just jealous because I blew up the bathroom.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
Well I'm not jealous. No, I'm absolutely not. There's no
envy at all attached to me today. I do not
want to be dropping pokey nachos in the other restroom.
Speaker 7 (30:33):
By the way, you're out by the way, pooperri Uh there, Lorena.
Speaker 8 (30:37):

Speaker 3 (31:07):

Speaker 2 (31:10):
Well, someone go get some more poopery, all right, that's
what we need.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
You got to be one considerate person to be able
to put up and deal with the.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
Things that you hear about. Lee. Boy, that's some disp.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
Found a great faces Lorraina makes when he's in the
in the studio, in the control room. He releases himself.
It's just you gotta have some high tolerance to be
able to say that's your work husband. Like I ain't
trying to Lee, I'm just calling it out, that's all.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
What was the happy are you found?
Speaker 2 (31:45):
Well?
Speaker 8 (31:45):
I found one that was endless appetizers.
Speaker 7 (31:47):
Uh, and that only included a few of the appetizers,
that being Mozrelli Stick's queso cheese, onion rings, and fried pickles.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
So that was good.
Speaker 8 (31:57):
Twelve bucks endless endless appetizers on.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
That it's horrible.
Speaker 7 (32:00):
And then another one was, uh was just like half
off of your drinks for three hours. That was like
five bucks drinks.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
That was good. Okay, Yeah, well look I mean if
mixing match there.
Speaker 4 (32:13):
Small and small intestine has the ability to say profane
words like f you you know, f off you mother,
f for Like your small intestine really cusses you out, Lee.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
I hope you understand it. You know it does, Lee.
But one thing that could help your small intestine is
a good night's sleep. And a good night's sleep starts
with a good mattress. I trust the mattress firms sleep.

Speaker 6 (34:04):
There are some good things that happen, and there's some bad,
and then there's some downright ugly things. It's time for good,
bad and lovely all right.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
Lead to lap Who's got what Well?
Speaker 7 (34:17):
As we do each and every week, we start with
the good, and this week Levar's delivered those goods.
Speaker 4 (34:22):
Yeah, I think what could have been really really bad
has turned out to be something really really good, really positive. Obviously,
Coach Prime, you know, and coming out and explaining to
the public what he's been going through to know that
he successfully went through the procedure and is on the
men's and is going to coach this year and be
(34:45):
a part of what he's.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Built in Boulder.
Speaker 4 (34:49):
I think that's not only good, it's probably what's great
for the week. So shouts out the coach Prime and
that's my good for the week.
Speaker 8 (34:57):
Well, can't have good without the bad. Jonas what was
bad this week?
Speaker 3 (35:00):
So an eight point eight earthquake hit Russia near the
water or in the water, and so because of that,
there were tsunami warnings that were issued for Japan, Hawaii,
the coastline of California. And you got these people, you know,
panicking and freaking out. And they're panicking freaking out because
(35:22):
the news is telling them it's doom and gloom. They're
doing like cartoon picture drawings of like thousand foot waves
swallowing an entire coastline. And then it turns out, yeah,
not nearly as bad at all, not nearly as bad.
And the advisory and the panic and all that, and
all it is is the news, the Weather channel, people
(35:42):
pushing this to try and get people worked up and
get people just overly excited about all this thing happening.
And it was nothing to be that concerned about. Everything's
probably going to be all right. And these guys that
are pushing this fear like they normally do, really pissed
me off because they set people up to panic and
then people start making drastic decisions like piling on the roads.
(36:06):
People are sitting there on vacation, evacuating their their resorts.
And meanwhile you look at the waves. There's a live
camera shot you can see of the waves that I
was showing lean Larina, and it's like a bathtub, nothing
to be worried about. But of course the news got
a hold of it and sensationalize it like they normally do.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
That's my bad, just for the purpose of the show,
though in case anything does happen, we do we'll go
ahead say that this is our disclaimer that we are
not whether experts, nor are we up to date officially
on any of the things that are happening. So if
anyone is in harms way, anything does happen. We are
not liable for anything. Speak for yourself. I'm a weather expert.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
All right, Okay, from bad to words, and he chases tornadoes.
Speaker 8 (36:53):
Right, that's right.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Ugly this week, I don't know if this constitutes as ugly.
I feel like it's getting there. There's been a back
and forth between the executive vice president of the Dallas Cowboys,
Stephen Jones, and star quarterback Trayvon Diggs. This is all
about the opting out of rehab away from the team's facility.
Remember how we saw the report how he got basically
(37:19):
docked five hundred thousand for that move if you were
a recall hit off season knee surgery, and the team
exercised the right to penalize him and docked him five
hundred k from his salary because he wasn't up there
rehabbing with the team. Well, what's interesting about it is
Stephen Jones and him have kind of gone back and forth,
(37:40):
and he recently had said that he paid a price
for not being there and that they're paying a price too,
because they felt like if he might have been there,
he would be further along in his rehab. So he said,
you know, look, he may differ with that, but we
feel strong that he might be further along and that's
at his best interest for him and the team and
the organization as it comes to getting a big contract
(38:01):
like he did. So at the end of the day,
it feels like it's getting a little bit ugly between
the Jones family and some of the higher paid players
or maybe to be higher paid players in the team.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
I mean the Diggs brothers. Man, you know, you never
quite sure what the off season is going to hold
for them, Yes you do. I mean are him and
his brother and Cardi b still together that's still going on,
or is he still complaining about whatever that stuff is
the BBO now whether or not that's a real story
(38:33):
or not. Look, Lorena swears that's a real thing, by
the way.
Speaker 9 (38:37):
I saw it again, a real thing that bbls tend
to stink after prolonged periods of sitting or sweating, smells
like garbage.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
Crazy, How would you know that?
Speaker 9 (38:49):
Multiple news articles and then also the one I saw
today was that a plastic surgeon actually came out with it.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
That's so you haven't like looked into yourself and like
smelled the seat of yea I have.
Speaker 9 (39:00):
I don't even know anyone who has a BBL.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
That's how they want to know if you're serious about
this whole thing.
Speaker 9 (39:05):
But you know, if you want me to investigate, I
can hit the streets.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
It lay tomorrow.
Speaker 9 (39:09):
I want you to get your face out and dirty
in it seems you have a BBL.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
Yeah, I think you should find out some folks. Maybe
they're having like a nice lunch and you just go
have that hot to take it back to iron russ Man,
cold Blood
