I tell Jonas you break it up.

Speaker 1 (01:06):

to laugh is in the lab trying That's.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Why you were laughing and trying to figure out how
to get that thing out yet all to sell vanity
off of it.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
So Kwame Brown took a victory lap on social media
yesterday with the news of not only Gilbert Arenas getting
arrested for the gambling or casino ring that he was
having in a home that he rented or didn't rent,
whatever his story is, and Shannon Sharp the news coming
out that he will not be back at ESPN, And
so Kwame Brown took the social media and unloaded on

(02:06):
both of those news stories. And so Lee is trying
to it will not be back with the SPN, Shannon
Sharp will not be back. Yeah, oh wow, that also
came out yesterday.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
So I don't know, is there any surprise to that. No,
That's what I was going to say.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
I don't I don't know why anybody would have been
surprised by that. I mean, it seemed like that's the
way it was going. Like Steven A even sort of
almost distanced himself.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Yeah, he distanced himself.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Yeah, Yeah, so there's a there's a lot going on.
Hopefully Lee will be able to uh to put that together. Now,
what do you guys think the chances are that Lee's
able to do this in this amount of time and
have there not be at least one offensive word get
through the audio.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
That's why I don't think it's going to happen. So, no,
not gonna happen. I'm gonna say he can do. He's
really good, like he is good at editing like.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
They're they're so and and he's also good at leaving
just enough to where you're like, ooh, that almost completely
came through there, to where some people would just take
out the entire sentence to avoid any issues. Le'll let
some stuff slide. So we'll see whether or not Lee
de Lapp will. We'll have that figured out and sort

(03:24):
it out for us here coming up, coming up momentarily.
So there's that. There's also Trey Hendrickson. Trey Hendrickson and
the Cincinnati Bengals is the way Lisle has given me instruction,
all right, we don't want to get into the Trey
Hendrickson stuff. Lee is getting confident here. It looks like
we are moments away from seeing whether or not Lee

(03:46):
has masterfully put in Kwame Brown, who was on social media, which,
by the way, I think Kwame Brown. The name of
his stream is The Life.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Yeah, it's like KBB a Kwame Brown bus Life.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
It's just you're talking about somebody who popped up a
couple of years ago and just made his presence felt,
and it was just like, Okay, I've sat back, I've
heard all the jokes, I've heard everybody make claims about me,
and I'm just gonna start unloading and I'm going to
do it on my terms and get even I know
Whitlock's a big fan of Kwame Brown all of a sudden, all.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Right, so we do have Kwame Brown.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
All right, So let's see whether or not Lee was
able to pieces together. Lee, was this one of your
more difficult editing jobs that you've done in recent memory?

Speaker 6 (04:40):
No, well, yeah, it's a memorable one. It's definitely up
there for having to turn around and short amount of time.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Lee, what confidence do you have that you got every
single thing that shouldn't make it on air.

Speaker 7 (04:50):
I'm pretty confident.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
I'm pretty like percentage like eighty ninety ten.

Speaker 7 (04:57):
I'm ninety five percent sure that everything is.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
There, all right, let's go leave, all right? So here
we job buddy.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Here is Kwame Brown celebrating the dismissal of Shannon Sharp
at ESPN, and also Gilbertorita is getting arrested.

Speaker 8 (05:10):
And I told people one thing.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
I said, this is a stupid He's.

Speaker 8 (05:15):
Gonna self sabotage. He's a dummy. Let me close this dough.
It's like my birthday, Shannon Sharp, your thick tongue a five,
Gil you and the slammer you got there if you
run your mouth, see you facing about fifteen years five
years on each shard, right, But your dumb ass were
playing cards with the really mob. So now you're gonna

(05:40):
have to make a decision. You can't snitch because your
dumb ass say you know till Gil, So you can't chill.
So you gotta you gotta fight this one out.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
You gotta go for what you know.

Speaker 8 (05:51):
So listen here, we know you can't snitch, so you're
gonna be sold for the next fifteen years. Oh no,
all that you were talking, you was a dumb ass
veteran and you swaggy career. Now you don't swaging P's
second career, So.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Dang well, they be coming for Kwame though, man and
Kwame be getting it off his chair.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
I know Kwame.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
I spent a lot of time around Kwame when we
were in DC, and he's a real good dude man.
I banged with Kwame like as a person, I think
he's a real like from my experiences, Super always was
a humble dude, like real quiet, unassuming type dude.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Just a good, kind hearted dude man. And I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Why this became a thing, like the whole like when
the whole bust narrative became so prevalent on him in DC.
It's like certain people wouldn't leave him alone. And I
guess I guess people found out the hard way. He
got a lot to say. I mean, now, y'all, I
didn't you know when I say y'all the people who
was doing that to him. Now he's you know, he's

(07:05):
come out of his shell and he's saying what he
feels about it.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
And I mean, whether you like the the.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Delivery or the words that he uses and doing so
he says how he speaks is he speaks his mind.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Say about Shannon Sharp again? Can we play that old
big thick tongue? Is that what he said. I think
he's just starting to begin with you.

Speaker 8 (07:27):
And I told people one thing. I said, this is
a stupid he don't self sabotage. He's a dummy.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
The closes do.

Speaker 8 (07:37):
It's like my birthday, Shannon Sharp five.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
That ain't right.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
People ain't right for taking shots at at at Shannon's
thick tongue gas either, you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Like that ain't right, man. It's a lot of people
make fun of Shannon Sharp.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
What is happening? Man? Youngloaded on them? Hey rabbits got
the gun?

Speaker 1 (08:12):
You know he ain't really say it nothing though, But
I mean, but that is some classic key key talking trash.
I mean that is dancing over people's few you know,
they're they're graves.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
I mean that definitely would be was considered.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Oh my god, that's just sa literally nobody safe. Nobody safe?

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Man. Why is why is? Why is media beef?

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Why is it so prominent and prevalent? It seems like
everyone is like every time you turn around, somebody is
beefing with somebody in media, like cam beefing with with
uh with Ryan Ryan Clark is always, by the way,
connected to somebody's media beef.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
He goes in.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
And then he apologizes and then it turned into a
whole nother thing. I don't know or I don't know RC,
I don't know how that works. But then cam is
coming out and then the dude from the what is
it a million dollars a game? I can't I'm trying
to remember his name. Why am I blanking on? His
name's Gilly? Gilly? Like guys are like straight media beefing

(09:25):
out here. Steven A has been a part of media beef.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
I think a lot of them are choreographed. I just
you think so.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
I just think a lot of them are bs. It's
just to try and get publicity for the show. It's
like it seems like a lot they're.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
Like texting on the side shone like playing all this many.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
The longer you do this, the more you realize there's
a large majority of it that's like pro wrestling just
is what it is. Not this show, This show is real.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
I think we tried. We don't try to media beef
with anybody.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
I don't care enough to try to media beef with
with somebody, Like what, well, I'm gonna come at you
for what does it matter?

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Well, it's to me, it's like a microcosm of our society.
Like people didn't used to beef back, and then they
just duke it out. They're like, oh that's how you
feel about me.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Let's go cups here. Yeah, hey, I'm gonna put your
put your dukes up here. Now I want to say that.
Flip it for real, flip her.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
And now we've got where it's like, no, I'm gonna
say mean things about you my podcast, and then you
can say mean things about me on your podcast, and
then I'll send some tweets out and do some like
I g lives. That's what I'm gonna do that. That's
what a real tough guy does. Now it's just I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
It's weird that grown ass men is they're out here
doing that, Like, well, you.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Can make the case like it's not you're not really
grown ass. If that's what you're to go into, well
you ain't standing in it.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
I'll tell you that you ain't standing on ten toes
down and grown ass men business.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
I'll tell you that. I don't know how people have
time for it. I don't either, I really.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
Tell no, in all seriousness, I don't There's only so
much time in your day. If you're investing into that,
what does it say about you as a dad? What
does it say about you as a husband or as
a person.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
I'm saying that's my thought. I've got one kid. I
can't imagine what you guys go through. I think that's
probably part of the reason why there's no media beefs,
because you realize, oh, that's time I could be spending
with my kids, not on X or Instagram feuding with
somebody because they might have been offended by something I said,
just to waste of time.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
The dude, Charleston White went on Gilly and said, well,
you don't have that family time with your kid anymore.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
He did, like bruh, his son got murdered.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Like these dudes be going really really Yes, these dudes
be going crazy deep with with the stuff they be
throwing at each other back and forth and this and this.
Like you said the podcasting show World, it's like it's
like sets, It's like clicks.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Like, I'm gonna go at this dude. I thought Ryan
Clark and Cam Newton were cool, Like, weren't they doing a.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Show together on ESPN? I thought I thought Cam got
on with ESPN because RC actually get on. I see
these dudes is out here like that.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
Sure there was something you know, Ryan and cues of
something racial. Yeah, it's usually the go to playbook there
for Ryan.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Same tell me I'm wrong, tell me I'm wrong. That's
got to be racist.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
He lives in that woke space, that's for certain. He
does live in that space. I mean, I love him,
That's that's my home, my my teammate homie from way back.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
I just I don't know. I don't you know, I
haven't been around him in years, though. I don't.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
People change, things changed, I don't know, you know, it's
it's it's interesting though. But quin so yeah, not too.
I mean my current teammate, you know. And I don't
let nobody talk bad about him. I'm the only one
that talked bad about Brady Quinn, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
That's my big bro. That's right, it's my big bro.
I could talk trash, but you do it. I'm gonna
pop you and like you said, pop you in your mouth,
you know what I mean? Like catch that too for real?

Speaker 5 (13:12):
Anyway, hold on, Lee, what the hell is going on
with you? First off, you've changed your shirt today. I've
seen you grimacing multiple times, grabbing your side.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
You stood up done the hole way you shake your
t shirt out? What are you doing? Lee? You and
your thick tongue ass What do you do?

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Lee?

Speaker 7 (13:31):
I ate too much Indian food last night.

Speaker 6 (13:34):
It was too spicy for the lady friend, so I
had to eat two servings and then I ate them
on the way out the door, which probably better.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
What lady Fred, my roommate, you know that your your
your last time I heard she was in Japan or
something or just left.

Speaker 7 (13:50):
Yeah she beck?

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Did you know she was coming back? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (13:55):
Yeah, yeah, she went out to Japan for her birthday.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
You know, they need to do a sequel on Along
Came Polly and call it Along Came Lee.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
You know, you know the hippo cannot.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Be the leopard or the zebra because well he is
the hippo.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
You know, happy happy people can Can we break this down?

Speaker 5 (14:21):
Like how many people go to Japan for their birthday
that are from the United State?

Speaker 7 (14:28):
I don't have a number for you on that.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
At least one there was some tossing up take I
mean right hen and there is some there is some
samurai work going on there.

Speaker 9 (14:43):
Yeah, someone said ohio, oh hi, and then they said.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
And then waxed off for sure all seriousness. Yes, are
we still doing this?

Speaker 6 (15:05):
I'm still hurting from the Indian food of that's what
we're asking this. I'm still hurting.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
That was not specifically what I was asking. That was
Barrett Sanders is like, right there, answer the question with
your tongue. Ass.

Speaker 7 (15:17):
I'm still happy at home with with the with my
lady friend.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Yeah, you guys haven't sold your places. No, I'm not
going to.

Speaker 7 (15:26):
Marketing on there.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Man. Last thing, why the why the shirt change?

Speaker 7 (15:30):
So that's a good question.

Speaker 6 (15:31):
So I got a nice little package from one of
our listeners this morning, Jeff Miller out in Wisconsin, who's
a host of a of a podcast called Dead on
the Bases. A sports fan reviews horror movies and a
horror fan reviews sports movies. It's their podcast. Their tenth
season is just kicking underway. So he sent me some
some cool swag.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
He does a podcast about horse, about Horse, about yores, horse.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
W h or Yeah, horror, what are you talking about?
How movies? Horror sports fanw.

Speaker 6 (16:08):
Horbor movies and a horror movie fan review movies horbar
shout out to the guys there for him a decade.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
Why were you wafting your shirt? Is that because you
were farting and you thought that that was gonna help
it or something.

Speaker 6 (16:23):
No, I'm checking out the field. I was just checking
out the stretch and I got two shirts. So you
saw me change shirts.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
And what else did you get? He knows you? Well?
What else did you get? Beer coozies? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Hell yeah, nice beer cozies, T shirts and some cools
and on.

Speaker 6 (16:38):
The basis, beer coozies with with the nice QR code
on the back, so get them right to the podcast.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
Yea, So he doesn't know you know you that well
because you would sat an alcohol with it if he
knew you that well.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
It's true.

Speaker 7 (16:50):
I got to check the bottom of the package here.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
By the way, the Indian food, I don't even get
it during on a work and it makes it long.

Speaker 6 (16:58):
It was a bad decision, eating more on the way
out that was like still out and about which was gross.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
So we've documented Lorena who gets gifts and packages sent
to her from all She's literally got an entire.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Shaved ice machine now in the studio that somebody said
party the syrup everything an entire shaved ice machine.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
She'd be trapping the hell out of them on our
social dovema attention to Lorena, make sure you check out
radio mouth because she will trap the hell out of
your thick tongue ass out there.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
And what the hell are you gonna do with a
shaved ice machine in?

Speaker 8 (17:38):
Then?

Speaker 3 (17:38):
I don't know. I'm gonna take it home and I'm
gonna make icys by my pool and I'm gonna eat
them in my bikini. Why wouldn't you do them here
on lab though?

Speaker 5 (17:50):
So she drops in in her bikini and then people
are start hitting on Twitter, what's what's your hand oil?

Speaker 3 (17:56):
And we're gonna make all different concoctions too, right, because
we have all the flavors, and I like the kind
that have the creamy stuff in it too, So I'm
going to like the can you do alcohol? And we
know exactly what you're doing right now? Yes, yes, you
get you can put booze in those, can't. I have
a penut Colada flavor and he said to put a minute,
So thank you, Pet. Okay, there you go.

Speaker 7 (18:17):
One of them is tiger's blood, Yeah it is.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Oh wow, how many those you gonna have leave with
your thick tongue ass.

Speaker 7 (18:23):
I'm gonna have some, that's for sure. Yeah, the emergency booz.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
Yeah, yeah, definitely, I'll come by the pool, have some
shaved pull out the emergency flask.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
By the way, that'll be your roommate, be with your
thick tongue ass.

Speaker 7 (18:43):
That should be a japan She won't, No, she won't.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
She's going back to Japan.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
Lee, She's gonna be on the roof of a building nearby.
Luck in you all, Yeah, she's like who you look
at boy, he's like his thick tongue ass.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Unbelievable. By the way, we didn't get anything.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
They've got shirts, koozies, they've got a shaved ice.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
We got nothing. Zilk man. Oh, they the main attraction. Man,
not wrong with it.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
Uh. It is two pros and a cup of Joe
here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
We don't need any of that because we've got dairy.
You ever see Loraina's pool? Yeah, nice pool.

Speaker 7 (19:34):
Oh, yes, it's quite lovely.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
Uh. We don't need any of that stuff because we've
got dairy Queen. And it's Miracle Treat Day at DQ,
which means one dollar more from every Blizzard treat is
donated to your local member Hospitals of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Blizzard treats are even sweeter when they support kids who
need it most. DQ Happy Taste Good Coming up next here, though,
somebody is trying to explain one move they made and

(20:01):
the move they're now making in the NFL. Very confusing,
but it's yours right here on FSR.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
Two Pros and It Come with Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you hair. Oh no,
So we're gonna turn into degenerates live on the air
in about fifteen minutes from now here on FSR.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
Lee, was that the signal that you're you're going to
take care of business? Okay? I got you? All right?
Oh god, I was wondering what that meant. Lee's on.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Lee's on the camera like dropping one hand from the other.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
I just Lee does so many gross gestures and things.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
I don't know how anyone gets intimate with them. Let's
just be honest.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
He's a really gross dude, man like tongue, gross ass dude.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
And I'm not trying to put him out there like this.
But it's not like he masks like whatever the smells
are with a cologne or anything. I mean, it's just
it's a unique sense, you know.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
But he looks like his unique scent like he looks
like it. Like when you see him, it's like Lee,
Like he could have a fragrance called Lee. He looks
like the lap.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
Yeah, if someone's getting intimate with Lee, I'm just thinking,
I'm just I feel bad for him.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
Yeah, I just someone on there with a thick as
he's gone though he's got Yeah. The the Indian food
for the Umpty in time is a terrible idea when
you got to be up at one in the morning,
it's not a good idea.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
I don't know why he does it.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
He cannot resist, Like how about a salad, you know,
like a like a piece of chicken, a steak. No,
Lee's got to go curry and whatever the death sauce
is at the Indian restaurant and then Lorraina's got to
sit and have to wear that for the internet.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
It's more like he's done anything today.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
Well, he doesn't work out. It isn't like sweat, so
it doesn't get it out of his pores either. That's
the problem is like when we're on different locations together,
he gets worked up like rather easily about anything, you know,
and he's not working out, so he's not in great
cardiovascular shape. So once he starts breathing heavy, he starts sweating,
and then you smell all the booze and mixture of

(22:33):
Indian food everything just like excreets out of his body,
along with obviously the flat elation. It's a terrible combination.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
The only time I will say is the only time
I've ever smelled bo on Lee was also when I
had bo and it was after we took the flight
from Ireland where he fell asleep on that lady who's
no doubt dead now. I mean she was pushing ninety
at the time. She's not here.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
What was saying someone on the plane?

Speaker 4 (23:01):
She uh like it was we were in a four seater.
Lee and I were on the end to and it
was Lee in the second seat in and he's sitting
next to this old lady and I'm like watching something
on the TV, and I.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Just hear, hey, hey.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
You're breathing all over me, and I look and Lee
had slumped over to his right on top of her.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
This lady was like eighty four.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
Pounds if that, and then she like is trying to
nudge him off. She's like breaking her collar bone to
remove this behemoth that is drunk and passed out on her.
And Lee looks over at me like this, Oh man, buddy,
I'm laughing so hard, I'm almost drooling. And Lee looks
over at me to my left and just kind of goes, hey,

(23:50):
it's kinda gives.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Me a nod and goes right back to sleep.

Speaker 4 (23:54):
That lady had a full on N ninety five mask
on and still Lee's and his behavior caused her to
remove the mask, pick up whatever disease was floating in
the air on that plane, and then.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Just to get Lee off of her. This nightmare. But
I also had bo.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
On that flight because that was a long flight and
we were cramped together pretty tight.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
So I can't judge. I can't judge crazy man.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
So let's talk about how things are going with the
quarterback of the draft that's not getting any publicity whatsoever.
Oh and by the way, he was the first player
taken in the draft. That's none other than cam Ward
of the Tennessee Titans, who spoke yesterday Titans training camp
about how the offense looks thus far.

Speaker 10 (24:41):
I just think we're very meet right now, from my
position to upfront to the receivers position. But at the
end of they all starts with me. I just I
just don't think where we.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
Need to be.

Speaker 10 (24:51):
But we got we got a little bit of time,
and so every day we get better as a whole.
We're a young team, that's no excuge and the n
day we got to come with the right monsset every
day and come to work.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
This is really troubling, troubling, troubling.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
Yeah, the use of the term mid.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Oh yeah, that bothers LeVar. Could you define that for
us over here? LeVar? Oh, that's like bad, that's average,
Like how do how do you look? Mid?

Speaker 8 (25:19):
Like?

Speaker 3 (25:19):
That's new? Why not mediocre? Mediocre is a better word.
It's a little bit more exotic.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
I think mediocre isn't as socially cool. Mid is like
the new word for this younger generation of young people
out here.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Mid is not.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Good like like a mid like that's like, go try
it again.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Is that like sus Is that like sus suss.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
It's in that, it's in that family, like in that family,
that category of how you use words. Yeah, like our
offense is sus right now, you know, because sus.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Saying the words suspect would take way too much time.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
We'll just say so you know that's correct, Okay, I'm
just telling you that.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
You know.

Speaker 5 (26:06):
What I appreciate though about cam Ward is he keeps
a real and he will tell you exactly what's on
his mind, what he thinks. That young man's all about
ball and he's going to set himself to a standard.
So I actually love the fact that he's saying this
right now because he's I mean, it's not setting expectations,

(26:27):
but I think he's being honest with everyone about where
they're at, where he's at, So I respect it. I
think it's a good sign for someone to kind of
just be very open and honest about where they feel
like this team is at. And unfortunately for Titans fans,
this is kind of the expectations for the season. Like
I don't know many fans who are fired up for

(26:50):
the Tennessee Titans this year. I think there's a high
amount of curiosity for cam Ward and what he's going
to be and if he's going to be the future.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
But I think there's a.

Speaker 5 (26:58):
Lot of people who are concerned that this could be
a year where you're two years into Brian Callahan's tenure
and they move on.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
He's already he's already looked at it as I look
at it as in my bed to jump on you.
But I actually look at it as cam is is
managing expectation. It's like a sales like he's just done
a very very strong sales deal, Like coach Paterno used

(27:28):
to always do that, Like they just beat a team
by like sixty seventy points. Ah, you know, we weren't
really that good today. Gotta get a little bit better,
you know, gotta get it, gotta get it right.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
In practice, we made a lot of mistakes today.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Like I feel like if you're managing expectations, then the
idea of improvement isn't the you know, it isn't so great.
I mean, we talked about the Steelers earlier in the
show and what the standard that has been set, the
expectations that are are there, and sometimes maybe it's not
fair to even have those type of expectations circulating around

(28:05):
and swirling around, and so maybe he's doing like a
veteran move here, like a wise movement for him in
his young career by managing people's expectations, like because the
film I've seen of Cam, he's been slinging that thing,
and maybe they aren't where they need to be. You know,
I know you yesterday you gave us the teams that

(28:27):
are on the betting odds to lose a lot of gains,
and Tennessee is one of those teams. But you know,
I really believe the dude is so superiorly wired in
his mind and he's so really doaled into what he
wants to accomplish that, you know, him saying that it's
still that come up, that challenge that I think it

(28:51):
presents for them to be better, and maybe he's not
letting on to where you know, he thinks this team
is or how good they could be, even though there
is that level of keeping it real with you know
what he's saying to the to the media.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
What it surprised you guys of the Titans were like
a five or six win team this year, Like I
think that's like generally the feeling that that's what it's
going to look like.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
Well, that's what they're hope for. Hundred said that so.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
So so like, if that's the case, Brian Callahan's probably gone,
as you mentioned, and the fact that there's been a
change in the front office and the guy who hired
him is no longer there. So basically cam Ward got
drafted into a situation where the team's not going to
be very good and he's going to have to go.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
From one coach to another.

Speaker 4 (29:35):
Already two years into his career, like he's just been like,
like already right off the bat, he's been putting an
unstable organization in a bad spot, and it just feels like,
no matter what, he's going to be trying to climb
up hill to try and figure this thing out in Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (29:51):
I feel for him.

Speaker 5 (29:52):
That's the unfortunate reality of playing quarterback in the NFL
is you know a lot of people will point at
him and say, well, he should have been better as
a rookie.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Then it's like, okay, man, like.

Speaker 5 (30:02):
Here's so many things you're learning, you're going through that
make it difficult. And I always go back and give
like a dissertation of folks about how the simplest things
and even how you identify coverage even where the safeties
are in college versus the NFL. You know, the more
narrow hashbarks in the NFL are more associated with post
tied safety looks or middlefield closed looks as opposed to

(30:25):
the split safety looks, where if you see a safety
in college near hash, it's probably some sort of cover
to cover for something else. So just kind of flipping
all of that thinking, which seems simple when I say
it right now on radio as you're listening driving your car,
But when you're doing that and you're you know, you're
looking through your reads, going through trying to find throwing

(30:46):
windows and getting the bought at your handed under three seconds,
it takes a little while to get used to, let
alone calling a play for example, that's different verbage than
you're accustomed to throwing the guys who you know get
in and out of their brakes, different than what you're
accustomed to. All though, stuff takes time and there's not
a lot of patience. And the other thing is that
it's difficult is you know, in college week to week,

(31:09):
the game plan doesn't change quite as drastically and in
the NFL, man it is it's a it's matchup driven
and it's very much scheme driven, so you can have
a drastically different game plan depending on who you're facing
week to week. So it's it's getting accustomed to that.
You know what the strengths and weaknesses are of those
defenses you face and the teams that you face, especially

(31:31):
in your division. So it takes time and unfortunately for him,
if they don't hit the ground running to your point, Jonas,
there may not be time for Brian Callahan to get
another year.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
How does all of this apply to lead the lab?
What was his performance? Like? Is he back? How did
that go? Is he is he made with with what
he had going on?

Speaker 4 (31:55):
Like?

Speaker 3 (31:55):
How does all this apply to lead the lab? That's
That's what I'm curious. I made good time, uh usual time.

Speaker 6 (32:01):
And he was able to listen to the whole segment
via the iHeartRadio app. Doing pretty good now a lot
better than I was first half of the show.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
And by the way, hey worship producer.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
During a segment on the air, he's in the bathroom
emptying his Indian food the toilet, listening on the iHeart app.

Speaker 7 (32:19):
Indian Food and coffee don't go well together.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Just f y I food and coffee. Huh all right,
oh my god, well that was called breakfast. Hey.

Speaker 5 (32:31):
At least she had a good night's sleep though, As
I said, helps you get out of bed though, and
you know what that means.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
It was a good sleep starts with a good mattress.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
LeVar like I trusted mates from Sleep Experts to find
my perfect mattress from their premium selection that Jonas knows
oh so much about. So for the great, great sleep
that you deserve, visit Matress Firm during the best sale

Speaker 3 (32:51):

Speaker 5 (32:52):

you wanted something more. No, No, it's nothing, nothing, No,
Lorraine had asked me a question.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Oh yeah, I'm sure so, yes, yes, Leah, you okare
for there, buddy, you're giggling. You're good to go. It's
been a while. Yeah, I'm doing great. Yeah, you feel better,
much better? Okay.

Speaker 7 (33:16):
We need that mattress firm though, would be feeling even better.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
Yeah, all right, I'm sure you're using your mattress firm.

(34:30):
the NFL's back. We've got the Hall of Fame game
coming up later on tonight the Meathead Bowl featuring Dan
Campbell's Detroit Lions.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
And jem arvoz La Chargers.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Who now they're gonna be doing like shoulder shrugs on
the sideline to get ready for this game.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
Hopefully Farmers walks before the game.

Speaker 8 (34:55):
Does that? Know?

Speaker 3 (34:55):
Ok, that's the move them walk around that stroll. That's right.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
So mayby maybe instead of playing a game, let's just
see who wins that between Harball and Campbell.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Tell you, you know, hundred yards just walk together.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
By the way, when Harbaugh was the coach of the
forty nine ers and he had that embrace with Jim
Schwartz where they almost went at it because Schwartz felt
like you slap him a little too hard on the
back after the game he did, I don't.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
It was so dismissive. It was such a little brother move.

Speaker 4 (35:28):
I can't imagine he's gonna try and pull that with
Dan Campbell. That didn't seem like the wisest move in
the world. And so all right, so lead the lab.
You've got some bets here that we're going to try
and do on the air to see how.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
We perform for the Hall of Fame game.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
I mean you know, I'm always spot on with this stuff,
but these guys need some work, so if you.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
Could walk them through this would be great.

Speaker 7 (35:48):
Yeah, we'll start with baby steps here.

Speaker 6 (35:50):
The over under on this game is set at thirty
two and a half. Just so you know, twelve of
the last sixteen Hall of Fame games have hit the under,
so that's a little inside tip for you there.

Speaker 7 (35:59):
So what do you guys?

Speaker 3 (36:00):
Over under? Thirty two and a half, that's a low number.
I'm gonna take the under though.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
The defense is always ahead of the offense, and uh yeah,
I just I feel like it's it's still early ironing
some kinks out, and probably the group that needs the
most work that struggles, or the offensive line groups.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
So I'm gonna take the under. I'm gonna take the
doonus gona take the over.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
Yeah, I feel like, you know, we're gonna see some
people perform well and.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
At a high level, and I'd like a more entertaining game,
So I'm gonna take the over. Knocks locks, But where
was oh? Because Brady doesn't want his? Yeah, he doesn't
like his. Okay, all right, well, thanks Ray, Ray, You're welcome.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
I'm talking.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
You know, these are both coaches that subscribe to the
idea of running first, which could really, if we're being honest,
could make for a boring first first game of the year.

Speaker 3 (36:51):
I'm gonna take the under.

Speaker 6 (36:53):
Under there, and this is Stick's pick. That's right to
Sticks picks. Chargers at Lions. This is at lines, even
though it's on a neutral site, of course, but just
so you know, the home team has won the last
four Hall of Fame games, and right now the Lions
are favorite of point and a half.

Speaker 5 (37:09):
I'm going to lay the point and a half with
the Lions here. I just I feel like there's a
lot to prove, kind of behind Jared Goff to a quarterback.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
Maybe you'd say the same but for the on the
other side.

Speaker 5 (37:23):
But I just think, you know, close in proximity, no
time's one difference and all that stuff, YadA, YadA, YadA.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Quinn's picks. I'm gonna take the Bolts. No explanation needed,
bolt up knocks locks.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I think the explanation is is that it's a Jim
Harball led team, and and Jim for John don't get
it right.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
Jim, you got it right.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
It's Jim Okay, all right, both great coaches though, by
the way I think he's this is going to be
a vastly improved team from last year. I think they
went out right, so I'm I'm going money line with
the Bolts.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
Sticks picks all right, running out of time all right?

Speaker 7 (38:05):
How about Trey Lance touchdowns one and a half.

Speaker 4 (38:07):
He's expected to play to the second half under under Damn,
I'll take the over on Trey Lance.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
Knocks locks, cocks locks under sticks picks,
