Speaker 3 (00:39):
M'a sing? Mmm mmmmmm yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Is this Don Tolliver? Yeah? Mmmmmmmmmmm mmmm. That's smooth it
out for y'all. You know we was in the strip
glove for a while. That's smooth it out. Wow? What
a bad song? Oh, this song is fire. It's me
and my daughter's favorite song. So it's like figured out, uh,

(01:21):
incorporated into my opening. What up Penn?

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Nah?

Speaker 1 (01:26):
It's Marley's What Up Bugs? No, that's the twin that's Leila.
One more shot? Yeah, I got three? What do we got?
Rude is Rude is Marley? Yeah? Yeah, Rude is Marley,
you know, like roots rock reggae, like Marley Bob Marley.
Yeah totally, yeah, Okay, I got you. Yeah yeah yeah.

(01:49):
By the way, that it is two pros and a
cup of Joe.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox with you. The countdown is on. You're probably thinking
of yourself, what is the countdown? Are we counting down
to the NFL season? No, we are counting down until
the screen goes black on our stream yard.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Oh yeah, it's literally like seconds elaborating. We're looking. It's
been great seeing you. I think it's like it's like
in the teens, it's hitting towards ten. Yeah, let's see
it's it's at ten.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Now, let's see if he makes it. By the way,
here come the dirty looks.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Seven six. He's not going to make it is by
the way, when he's he may, he may that literally
like five seconds left.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
By the way, Lee's dirty looks hurt way worse than
a normal person's dirty line for me because he's such
a gentle soul.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
And then when he gives you those eyes.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Lee, the other thing is it's like, we love you, man,
I just know this. It comes from a good place.
You know, you're you're a buddy.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
You know, we're just working out the kinks. I think
I need to get you guys along. We're also we're also.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
Realistic though about your life and your habits, so you know,
we got to give you a hard time about that
too though. Yeah, like you don't have you don't have
your stuff together at all, like not in any capacity.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Almost spit my water out, almost split my water out, dang,
because I mean, sometimes the truth hurts.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Yeah, I mean honestly, you know, yeah, we're trying to
help you. We're not trying to hurt you, you know.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I appreciate it. But but he
doesn't change his habits. I mean, we've been doing this
show for a really really long time here at this point.
He doesn't change his habits, so he doesn't really care.
That's you cannot the case he doesn't care, so I
don't care. You could make the case he's gotten worse though.
He has a lot to his attention and it's not

(03:47):
changed at all. That's that's worse. That is worse one.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
You know what, you know what the other issue is,
and I think this is and Jonas falls in this category.
Even though it's it's been a little bit of a different,
you know journey for him, Like, well, no, when you
when you play in the league, Like one of the
things that all say is you're either getting better getting worse,
and so like complacency is staying the same plateauing like
it feels like you're getting worse every day. Coaches say
that every day, every day in between. So it's it's

(04:13):
ingrained in you. And so you're either trying to get
better and you're getting better or you're getting worse.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Lee said.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Talk.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Please say that. I heard it. Everybody out there, Lizeneth,
please say it's too bad of lead talk going all
right now? Is that?

Speaker 5 (04:30):
What's the social media universe of Stanley? All your buddies
on social media.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I'm just doing the ratio of the show here. I mean,
we can't help that. You are the show. You are
the show. It was a good game. It's a preseason game.
It's a preseason Would you have some money on that? Lee,
I'm just saying, you know, oh, the importance of talking
about the game yesterday. Let's see there was a game

(04:56):
play between the Bengals. Oh by the way, yeah, I
say Bengals. So what if it sounds like it's an
e in there f you. I don't care say the
words the way I say the words when I say
yes for Lee's leftovers. When League goes goes May Bengals
commanders tonight. That was it?

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Like that was always opened up? You opened up whatever website.
You're like, oh, wonder, he's got some games that I know.
Let's just let's take a look here. Uh yeah, I
mean who cares? I mean, honestly, who cares.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
I'm way more interested in talking about Lee's bad habits
and him getting worse instead of getting better, even though
he's knowledgeable about how we feel about his habits. I
think it's way more entertaining. Sorry, it's at your expense.
You know.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
LeVar and I were talking about something during the break,
Uh where I made I made mention stuff?

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Okay, not do tail. Let's hear this. Those are caff raises.
Oh talk about that.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
LeVar and I were talking about the term fill her up?

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Does anybody get that reference nowadays?

Speaker 6 (06:16):
Well?

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Q would get it, all right, he's from Ohio. Q
would get filled up, fill her up. It's so like
when you're LORRAINI you know this, you're an Oregon. They don't.
Lorena said, what like she didn't get it, or maybe
she did. You're not allowed to pump your own gas.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
It's some places there's full service, but there's some places
you are like.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
In Ohio, in Pittsburgh, you can go to a fool
and self. Right, So if you go to fool like
you know, if you're going, you say how much you want.
Like when I was growing up, my dad put twenty
on it every time without fail, and that there's always Hey,

(07:01):
I put five on it because I was high school student, right,
I pulled up to that joint, like give me five,
you know what I mean. But if you go to
full serve, they always come up be like what do
you need? Huh, what you need? Filler up? What do
you want? What do you want? You want plus, you
want premium, you want regular? What you want? What you need? Yeah,
give me give me twenty on, give me twenty on

(07:23):
plus pack. And I've never said fill her up. I
say fill it up. No, No, it's er er filler,
not her it's er filler filler outs. That's that's one
of the descriptions that that that you wanted to talk
about yesterday, not to fill her up, filler up. It's
one word. Put that on me. I mean that was

(07:46):
you wanted to do the segment, and that would be
a legitimate that would be a legitimate title. Fill her up.
There you go. But that is a gas station. That's
a full service gas station.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Term by the way, pack of Camel's rest on three.
I had never understood that where my mom or my
dad would go in and they would buy something and
say just put the rest on three, and I was like,
I don't understand that, and then it would be like
whatever was left over.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Nowadays fifteen dollars and twenty two cents. Yeah, and you
just see how far they get you. You could almost
fill up your tank when I was growing up, which crazy,
man's crazy. I can't remember the last time I filled up.
It's too expensive. Oh I just filled up this morning,
sixty five dollars.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yeah, it's like I usually have like a round number
or or just it takes too long.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
But that was really you really do need to work
on saving money, man. That's not that's not in his lingo.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
You don't have like a gas card that gives you
like he lives, he lives back for your for your gash,
you get like three percent back.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
No, no, I do not. I'm somewhat jealous of Lee.
I am somewhat jealous because I have spent maybe the
better half of the last eighteen years living is responsibly,
maybe longer even when I played really in some regards,

(09:16):
I've really tried to live a responsible life, like create
parameters and half standards and when did you give up?
And when did it ever start? We start? Wait, he start?
So I'm somewhat jealous because he is. He's like, he's free. Like,

(09:37):
I don't know about you, but I wish I could
just if I felt like just going out and stand
out all night? Why not? Yeah, why not just go out,
stay out all night, try to drink yourself into a stupor?
Like why why not? I mean, wake up wherever it
is you wake up?

Speaker 4 (09:53):
You know the best part though, we're all in the
same place. Oh married, you got married? I mean I'll
say it, got married. Everything changed that way has changed.
By the way, LaVar was threw up during the break,
I go to ease the bathroom. Right, here's somebody gagging

(10:14):
out what's going on here? And LeVar was having flashbacks?
And when I wasn't so responsible started to start legitimately
dry heaving.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Yeah, I was there's that, by the way, Yeah, I was.
I was trying to.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
Tell you, guys. I was trying to tell you guys,
just nobody wanted to listen. You guys were trying to
push Kenny Pickett and Chador and Dylan Gabriel, whatever Brown's
propaganda you wanted to push. And I was telling you
the whole time Joe Flacko was going to be the
starting quarterback. And guess what, he's now been named the
start of for Week one and and he's going to
be playing in the preseason this final preseason game.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Did he say did he mention who the backup is?

Speaker 4 (10:57):
No?

Speaker 1 (10:58):
See, I wouldn't want to know like you gave us
the obvious, that's captain obvious. I want to know who
the backup is. That's what I want to know. Who
is the backup? And if it's not one Kenny Pickett,
what happens with Kenny Pickett? And and then who is
the guy that's the backup? Now that's the bigger one.
Who do you project out to be the backup? Que Jonas?

(11:21):
Who who y'all projecting to be the backup?

Speaker 5 (11:24):
I think it's gonna be one of the rookies. And
I think it's because I think someone's gonna deal for
Kenny Pickett.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
You know, there's a lot going on right now.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
If you go read on Pro Football Talk, you'll see
Mike Floya probably just running another articroll about bashing Joe Milton.
No idea why he's doing that. See, he feels like
he's going to be out of his way to bash
Joe Milton. I know he hasn't had a good preseason,
but like for anyone who's seen Joe Milton throw football,
I mean it's it's something else.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
He has got a absolute cannon for an arm.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
He's gigantic, he's athletic, like he's got all the tools,
and you'll see enough plays where you go, okay, if
this guy can put it together, like it's going to
be something ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
And he doesn't have much experience.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
So I'm not sure why Mike Floya is being so
hard on Joe Milton and the Dallas Cowboys backup situation.
But they could be a potential suitor. You know, you
look kind of through what could happen with cousins who's like,
you know, hanging in the wings. You know, as far
as Atlanta and their situation, there's just there's a number
of places that there could be an injury, but be

(12:27):
if they're looking at their quarterback situations, say we feel
like we need a guy and come Ore. I mean
Minnesota from the up and down reports of JJ McCarthy,
that might be another team where you say, a right,
we wanted to bring someone in behind, and we feel
like could maybe coming in play if McCarthy can't get
it done. So I kind of feel like one of
those guys is going to get moved. And if you're

(12:49):
looking at those teams out there, they probably want a
guy who's got some experience, who's more of a veteran,
not a rookie.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
So I think it's gonna be one of the rookies.
Is the backup?

Speaker 5 (12:57):
I think both And I've said this the entire time,
Chaudor dying Gabriel, you're riding the fence.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
I'm not the fence, but you butt Scooching on that fence.
Bro I'll go.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
I think doing Gabriel probably be the back out there.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Twins wins, and I think will make the roster. And
you've been trying to cut them this entire time. Just
admitting Picket sold them. Kenny Picket sold them. Kenny Picket
sold them. He sold them out all the way out.

(13:31):
If Kenny Pickett comes in, stays healthy and does something
with himself, then you're you're blaming this on Kenny Pickett.
I'm not blaming anything on anybody.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
I'm just what I'm saying to you is the white
quarterback I see, I got.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
It's a numbers game. If you ask me the numbers game,
it's the numbers game. And I'm just telling you, why
would you take all right, you're going to put one
of them on the practice squad. How are you going
to protect you? How are you going to protect protection
Doris Sanders on your practice squad. You're paying what you
would be a regular season irregular salary. Somebody can take
them off to practice squad.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
They can, but the incentive used to be if they're
paying them a practice squad salary, you're able to pay
them the same salary.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
You would be for if they're on How do you
protect them from getting taken from the practice squad?

Speaker 5 (14:21):
You put them on the roster. Like I've said, you're
the one that keeps saying they're gonna cut them.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
I'm saying, if you're gonna put them on the practice team.
Which that's what you're insinuating, because you know I'm not
you're saying carry all four quarterbacks.

Speaker 5 (14:36):
I think Kenny Pickett's gonna get that.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Deal.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
They'll either they'll either carry four or they're gonna trade picket.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
That is blasphemous for to carry four quarterbacks and you're
already paying one. You got five quarterbacks that you're paying
technically six. Tell Hunt is still there too, Yeah, that
is That's how he's gonna get He's gonna they're gonna
cut him. You're on cut him. Now. The question is
what are you doing if if and I'm just saying

(15:06):
this is based off of the original, I'm not trying
to cut the door, Sanders. I'm saying, it's a numbers game.
Why are you trying to cut your door? Sanders? With
these numbers game? The numbers game says that whoever is
the fourth man is the is the odd man out.
It used to be the third guy was the odd
man out. You didn't carry three quarterbacks, you carry two.

(15:28):
And if you brought a guy in, if you brought
a guy in, you brought a guy in, and you
got a guy on the practice squad, but you carry
two quarterbacks four four that's unheard of. Why are you
trying to cut him? I'm not, I'm not, I'm not,
But what would the fallout be? All right? So if
one of them got cut, all right, so call your shot.

(15:50):
Who's the backup? Week one? Who's the backup? Yeah? I
don't has to be Dylan Gabriel sticks picks. Yeah, and
and not not for anything else other than he was
drafted higher. That's what I'm saying. Like, it's not because

(16:11):
he's better than Shador, because he's not. He's not better.
In fact, if you're asking me who should start sharedor
Sanders should be starting, just go ahead, start Shador Sanders.
You're because you're on a road to nowhere with Joe
Flacco starting.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
By the way, it's not that far back that the
Browns didn't keep four quarterbacks on their active roster. They
did in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
By the way, they had.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
Watson Winston during Thompson Robinson and Tyler Huntley.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Yeah, on a act roster. Yes, that's what I'm trying
to say to you. How many dude, you know, you know,
I love you.

Speaker 5 (16:49):
But there these are the sort of things where you'll
say like these wild claims and they're not.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Actually look anything up. I just know what I know.
I know what, I know what you know what I know?
You don't know just because what I remember. The Browns
or the Browns we're talking. They just did this two
years ago. They two years ago. They stink. That's why
I do it.

Speaker 5 (17:12):
Your entire your entire claim that you door says is
going to get cut is because it's the numbers game
that you're saying.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
They literally just did this two years ago. It's the Browns. Okay,
but that.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
Goes against everything, It goes against everything you say.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
It doesn't make it that that's the loose the backup.
Find another thing up, Find another team, fine, find at
least three teams. Get back of that. I don't look
than you got you got Dylan gave the teams do that.
The the Commandos did it twenty thirteen. I wouldn't even
know if you're right.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
The Jets, their raiders back when they were the Redskins
now communities did it in twenty thirteen.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
They kept four all teams that stink. I bet you
day was in and out the door. How long to
get these facts? I'm sorry? Then away? How did. How
long did they keep those four quarterbacks on the team
during the season. I would have to have more time
to Oh, now you need more time. GROC isn't taking
up the time for you. Just put it in GROC.

(18:15):
I am tell's not that good. Tell them to tell
you here. I want to tap dance.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
So you got au, So you got Dylan Gabriel. Brady's
got Dylan Gabriels gually.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Because Kenny Pickett boned them, and Dylan Gabriel is the
third round draft pick. Like I said, if it's me,
I started the door Sanders week like they won. If anything,
if it goes you went from cutting him to now No,
I've been said that, I've been said. I'm on record.

(18:48):
I'm on record of saying they should just start them.
I've been on a record. I'm saying numbers game wide.
What record you went from cutting him to I can
send you the link. I can send you the link.
I'll send you. I will, I will, I will send
it to you. I have never give me. I've never
heard you one. You might have been on vacation, que

(19:08):
you might have maybe you might.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Have not been.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
When did you sway back the other round about you
I never said anywhere there's there's reality versus opinion and perception.
My perception and opinion was they should just start Shador Sanders. Now,
the reality of it is is that he's a fifth
round draft pick and he's the fifth quarterback on their roster,

(19:31):
the fifth fifth, one, two, three four fifth fifth fifth.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
You give me then, who you think of the backup's
gonna be instead of just riding the fence like you are.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
I am righting, no very critic. I'm not writing no fence.
My booty is fine. My feet are on the ground
ten toes down, I said, Dylan Gabriel want to be
the backup? You got? Dylan Gabriel, Yes, because because can
he pickett boned them? Just did you make a pick?
And we'll go ahead. I think I'm ready there do it.
The Browns backup quarterback Week one. Here we go, mister obvious,

(20:06):
he's gonna there we go, Here we go. He's looking
for real creative, Here we go, We'll be Dylan Gabriel
knocks locks. Jes Hey, we aren't you guys? Why aren't

(20:28):
you guys on TV? I don't know, I don't know.
I was just cocking your pump.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
So it was by the ways Kenny Pickett even practiced, Like,
when's the last time Kenny Pickt practiced.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
He's like this hamstring in trees at.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
Don't you have a theory on all this? I thought
you had some sort of theory.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
What did I have a theory about? Oh no, it's
about Matthew Stafford. I had a theory about Matthew Stafford.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
I think matt that kind of went by the way side.
He practiced yesterday.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
But when did the injury happen? That's what I want
to know. Everyone's like, oh he's old, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Okay, but all of a sudden, I ain't going nowhere.
I can tell you from from experience that when they
say disc and and anything, you hear what degenerating and
all that stuff, it ain't going nowhere. I think something
happened in Maui. That's what I think. I think.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
I think that little Maui Rams Maui camp. Like if
you if you look at the timeline, all of a
sudden something went down, whether it was the flight back home.
Petros has told us about the Clayton Kershaw back issues
that started because of a flight they took to Australia.
Something happened in Maui and the whole side of their

(21:41):
story and the way that they've discussed this whole thing
just sounds weird. The whole thing seems odd to me,
and it seems like that's going to be an issue
moving forward. That's what I would say. That's my theory.
Something happened in Maui for Matthew Stafford. As far as
the Browns go, I mean, you know, what does it matter.
I mean, Kenny Pickett hasn't practiced. You got Dylan Abriel
and shad Or Sanders and Joe Flacco's there. I just

(22:02):
hope Flacco gets through this final preseason game and he
can make it to Week one and be healthy. Like
I just hope, because that's the other aspect of this
whole thing, Like, you know, he is an older player and.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Okay, but he's not gonna play. I mean they've already
kind of spit well, but he's going to play the
final preseason game. Yeah, but it will be like a
few steps.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
Why would why would he even play him to begin with?
Like at this point it's the last one, Just start
him week one. He probably doesn't need the reps, Like,
why even why play him?

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Now maybe he wants the reps.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
Well, it's gonna be the most uh watched depth chart
death depth oh, depth chart.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Reveal in the NFL. I mean it could be a
death art two. Yeah yeah, oh yeah, some people going
down off it is. Yeah yeah. Careers, careers dating gone
by the way, you want to know that Sha Door
Sanders about to kill y'all. Career You want to know

(23:09):
the the lock of week about to kill them? Added here?
By the way, you want to know the the lock
of week one?

Speaker 4 (23:19):
Bengals minus five and a half at the Browns lock book.
That Cincinnati getting off to a hot start. It's a
new season, new year for the Bengals. Take Cincinnati minus
to five and a half. Courtesy of our friends on DraftKings.
What's this link you sent?

Speaker 1 (23:38):
You saw what I sent y'all screenshots. I'll send y'all
a link to just so y'all clear. I'm not a hypocrite.
I's it if I own the team.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
You can't trust AI, that's app Okay, here's the problem.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
You want me to really do this right now?

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Love?

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
According to a published report by iHeart dot Com on
twenty five, LeVar Arrington stated that he doesn't see uch door.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Sanders makes the Brown's roster. That's correct. I started the season.
That's correct. Okay, But if you look at what the
headline says, if I own if the Browns, he would
have started, should I would have named Shador Sanders. You

(24:23):
have you have flip flopped around this subject. Yes, you have.
You a fish out lots. You've been flopping around. I
am not a fer everywhere. You're like flailing.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
You've been like lean at a late night in New Orleans.
We all saw it there Jonas after a few hurricanes.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
I mean it. I mean some hurdles you go over,
so some of you go under. You know, that's just
what it is. I'm clearing them. Just some are over,
some are under. I'm saying, if I own the Browns,
I named Shador Sanders the starter to day. He's your
best quarterback on your roster. I don't care about all

(25:04):
the other details and elements. I start them today because
you're not going anywhere with Joe Flacco except for he's
a rental. He's a rental QB A QB. He's a
rental QB. He don't even carry a gun. He can
flashlock flashlight QB he's gonna mag like that. Yes, start

(25:27):
Shador Sanders, make Dylan Gabriel your backup, and cut bait
with the rest of them done done. You don't have
to explain to anybody why he went in the fifth round.
He's he fell to the fifth round whatever. Moving on,
He's the best quarterback on your roster. If I'm the
owner of the team, start that man today. But I'm

(25:50):
not so. If I'm looking at it from a perspective
of here's a logical perspective, it is Schador Sanders is
a fifth round draft pick on a team not already
has three quarterbacks.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
I had a who looked better Brady Shadoor or Dylan
Gabriel in their preseason appearances.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
I would say it's very similar.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
I mean, the only difference was, you know, thought Shador
used his legs a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
He had a ball that should have been picked it wasn't.
You know.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Dylan had one play that was picked, end up, gotten
taken back, and quite honestly, you know, again you don't.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Know unless you're in the medeason.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
Well there's that, but also you know, for the Shador one,
I don't know if the receiver is running the wrong run.
I didn't look like it. It looked like the guy
kind had to beat on the ball is a bad decision.
But on Dylan Gabriels, it was like, all right, you
know you got your flat route bleeding upfield, get your
crossing route converging. There really shouldn't have been a throw
there made by Dylan Gabriel, so that's on him. But

(26:49):
again there were rookies they're learning. I would say they
both played like equally really well.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
I mean, Door Sanders ball placement on two of those
passes was nothing short of and no it sounds like
I'm like on him or whatever, but they were nothing
short of phenomenal ball placement.

Speaker 5 (27:07):
Well, no, it was accurate. I mean, dude, go back
and watch every snack. I always watch every throw of
all these guys. I thought Dylan Gabriel was equalis impressive
with ball placement, like out front where it needs to be,
even the short intermediate passes. The other thing, I'd say
two in his favor. It was a lot of third
down conversions, which is more of like that measuring stick
when you're talking about comparing quarterbacks is like can they

(27:27):
move the chains on third down? And he was able
to do that. So I thought both quarterbacks showed out
really well. It's one of the reasons why I feel
like there's a good chance that both are on the
active roster. Dylan probably as the edge and will be
the backup, but I think Pickett's going to look for
an opportunity somewhere else, and whether it's they release him

(27:48):
or they try to trade him. Either way, there might
be another team that's looking for a veteran guy that
we have see where.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
His health's at. But I could see that potentially being
the case dead man Walking. You want to see a
whole bunch of twelve jury these and a whole bunch
of chance for your door. Dead man walking. They all
did what was that? What does that chance sound like?

Speaker 5 (28:06):
Because it's two syllables, you know it doesn't sound great.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
You're going to hear people saying perfect time, and that's
the perfect time and perfect time, and that's what you're
gonna hear c that Cleveland game, perfect time and where
Brady go. Brady's as black as me. Now that's green.

(28:32):
Lorena is like, what hey, green is black?

Speaker 4 (28:35):
Looks like Levar's facetiming Lese acts look Lreda's face like,
oh my.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Gosh, Brady would never be as black as you, LeVar.
He is right now, just is what it is. Why
are we watching the Source Awards? I'm done. I gotta read.
I gotta read, or I walk out his right all right.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
By the way, Two Pros and a Cup of Joe

Speaker 4 (30:26):
Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas NOx with you here. So we are
going to get into this discussion in the world of
college football, somebody's got an idea to make a few bucks.
One thing we didn't have a chance to get to
yesterday though, was the idea that was floated out there
by the Big Ten, the twenty four to twenty eight

(30:49):
team playoff model. How many different playoff models are we
going to get before they just decide on one Finally,
it's a lot of teams. It's like a lot of
different ideas that have been thrown around. That's a lot
of teams, and none of them applied this year.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
It pains me, Yeah, none implanted this year.

Speaker 5 (31:07):
It pains me to see all this though, because it
takes away from the regular season.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
It takes away from robberies.

Speaker 5 (31:14):
Like I do believe if you have two teams that
are gonna square off in the regular season, potentially face
them each other again in the playoff, it's kind of
common sense which one matters more, right, So I hate
that aspect of this. And I also don't believe that
what was what they say, twenty eight teams in this one?

Speaker 1 (31:33):
Yeah, come on, dude's if we're being real right now, Like,
let's be real.

Speaker 5 (31:39):
Let's talk about the teams that like legitimately have a
shot at winning a national championship. And mind you, I'm
not saying that this is the case in the NFL too,
But if we want to look at the top eight
ranked teams, maybe nine, that's all.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
That's all my opinion.

Speaker 5 (31:57):
If you're not Texas, Penn State, Ohio, State, Sin, Georgia,
Notre Dame, Oregon, Alabama, Lsu. I'm sorry, I just I
don't see it. I don't see it. They might upset
Miami fans who are sitting right there at ten. It
might have set some Arizona State fans, Illinois, South Carolina, Michigan.
I'm sorry, I don't see it.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Florida. Yeah, don't see it. Don't see a few this year.
Like if you could make a bet.

Speaker 5 (32:23):
And you take any one of those nine teams and hell,
I'll even say probably stops at seven.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Like, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (32:31):
We'll see what Ty Simpson brings Alabama this year, first
year starting. People are really high on him. But you know,
I think it's if it's Nick Saban coaching, maybe give
him the benefit of the doubt. But it's Kaitlyn Debor
who's been really successful but not on that level yet.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Yeah, you know, if.

Speaker 5 (32:45):
LSU and Brian Kelly, I'd love neuss Meyer. I think
he's a hell of a talented quarterback. He'll be a
first round pick next year. Is that con equate them
to win a national championship? Is their defense going to
be fixed? Are they gonna be able to survive through
the SEC?

Speaker 1 (33:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Texas, Texas, Ohio State are the co favorites on DraftKings
Uh to win the with the shortest odds to win
the national title, followed by Penn State at seven.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
To one and then Georgia at plus seven five, which
bout of way super quick. Did y'all see the SEC
little little hype hype video they put on on Netflix,
no like coming into the season. Yeah, they curiously put
that that show on coming into the season. And and

(33:35):
it's really all about trying to prove or say that
the SEC is the best conference in and I have to.

Speaker 5 (33:42):
Do that after last year when they only had one
team in the Final four and they didn't make it.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
They were independent awful. Yeah, looked awful in the playoffs.

Speaker 5 (33:56):
By the way, going back to Texas, that could be
an nine and three football team.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
They start off they're an underdog on the road versus
Ohio State, take your pick there.

Speaker 5 (34:07):
They have to go to Florida in October, they have
to go to Georgia in November, and that doesn't count
in games against Oklahoma who they host and m to
finish the regular season. I mean, if they're a nine
and three football team, you're putting your season in the

(34:28):
hands of the committee because there's a chance you're gonna
have a big twelve team that's eleven to one, maybe
ten and two, with a strong argument as far as
who they've beat, and in regards to ranked teams, an
acc team, I mean, Clemson is gonna be a part
of that conversation, by the way, like they're they're gonna
be really good this year. You know, we'll see who

(34:48):
else is able to kind of pitch in. I mean,
obviously was gonna be fascinating, but well, Miami's ranked high again.
We'll see how the start of season goes if Notre
Dame beats them, you know early on when those seasons,
when they lose a couple early, it just goes to
the wayside. Miami tends to have a bit more of
a front running crowd fan base that might upset people

(35:10):
to hear. But tell me you're buying tickets later in
the season when they've already lost two or three games,
Like tell me, like, go ahead, hit us up on Twitter,
call in if you're still buying those tickets or you're
going to those games. I just Dolphins fan. I've seen
it too in their stadium. It's the same thing out
of the playoff race, they're not showing up. It's gonna
be probably like the you know, someone from the East

(35:31):
coast coming down in November to go watch a game
and try to enjoy a little sunshine.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
Usually how it works out.

Speaker 5 (35:38):
Usual Jets fan, Patriots fan, visional opponent coming down, typically.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
How it works. I think I want some steak and
eggs this morning. It's on my mind. Why do you
I was just gonna I started thinking about tailgating. Like
we're like eleven days away from like next Saturday. Are
you still doing the tailgate thing? Oh?

Speaker 5 (36:00):
Yeah, I mean I feel like you get absolutely sauced
up at those That was great.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
I don't I try to. I just don't. I don't don't.
I just don't. I don't feel like my body allows
me to go beyond my threshold of what I can handle.
Like I'm I'm like filled up before I can get
to the point of where a lead that that would
be even though right, yeah haang, I don't like it,

(36:26):
like being referenced that way though. I didn't feel right.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
But Lee and I walked straight over from the it's
the lash building, Yeah, walk straight.

Speaker 1 (36:33):

Why are you giving me a hard time today? Yeah,
don't be so ugly, Lorena. I mean, yeah, Le super
hard to be ugly, but you're pulling it off today.
Damn gee. Yeah. Well, let's get out of here. Yeah,

Thank God for the Internet.

Speaker 4 (38:53):
What do you guys think about what Oklahoma's doing. They've
got something that they are rolling out here. The Oklahoma
owners are it's called the Sooner Magic Memories program that
they're creating and they're selling postgame media session seats. You
can get exclusive postgame media access for you and one
guest to see where real time reactions unfold. You can

(39:15):
hear Oklahoma coaches and players address reporters moments after the
final whistle. Watch the story take shape through the questions,
the insights, and the atmosphere that set the headline.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
So if it's not going in the locker room, I
don't really care.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
Well, the first game of the year is against Illinois
State four hundred and sixty one dollars for two people.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
They can't go in the locker room, so you can't
do the interviews in the interviews that take place in
the locker room. So if it's not in the locker room,
it's in the media room. I don't think it really matters.
That's sold out. Well, good for them. Fans are going
to pay.

Speaker 4 (39:50):
For its Oklahoma Michigan September sixth, six hundred and ninety
two dollars to go to the postgame media scrum and
then the SEC home opener September twentieth against Auburn five
hundred and seventy seven.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
Do they get to ask questions?

Speaker 4 (40:04):
Yeah, that's my that's my old thing. If you're not
going to get to ask questions, what a waste of money?

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Are you just spectating? Or do you get to ask questions?
Your your time hanging out? Your timer is on the
screen again, you just get a hangout.

Speaker 5 (40:17):
Why do I get the sense this is like gonna
be one of those like USC things where remember when
they were like allowing people to run out was a
Penn state too, there's a Penn state now that's ton
of with them. It was like, well, we didn't think
this through, Like imagine those people are able to ask
a question and it just it leads to this all
time viral tirade. You know what I'm saying, Like, it's

(40:37):
just it's not worth it.

Speaker 4 (40:38):
Yeah, that's that's a lot of money for that experience.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
But they have fun sooners
