Speaker 1 (01:12):
I'll figure it out one day. Bro.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Well, I wanted to ask you guys a question because
as I was watching the Bears and I was, you know,
kind of seeing their dominance, I was thinking, all right,
Jonas is gonna want to talk about the Bears tomorrow,
and so this would be the question i'd ask you
is which one in two team would you rather be?

Speaker 5 (01:30):
Chicago or Dallas?

Speaker 4 (01:34):
And I'll give you a chance to think about it,
because part of me feels like that game was set
up for the Bears to excel Ben Jonson knowing Matt
ebra Fluis's scheme very very well, dating back to his
timas at oc and ebra Flus's time as head coach
for the Bears, and you know, kind of home game,
just everything that went into it. Because I'd say before

(01:55):
yesterday's game, it's an easy to say I think Dallas
has looked to be the better team.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah, their defense is brutal though, like they've vote. I mean,
that's you know, I mean, you know, I don't know
what their run numbers are. I think they're a little
bit better against the run, so a mission accomplished, but yeah,
they desperately miss Micah Parsons. I would say I'd probably
rather be Dallas because there won't be as much of

(02:23):
a letdown because I think they've just sort of accepted
what the reality is like.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
You're not looking at the TV right now.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
They all well, no, they knew going into the season
that all right, So now we don't have Michaeh.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Parsons.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Jerry Jones is running the show there, we're not a
legitimate contender. But you know, Dak plays well enough, the
offense is probably gonna be fine, and then you know,
we'll we'll just deal with whatever the season is. The Bears,
it feels like there's so much hope riding on Ben
Johnson and Caleb Williams that through two games and everybody

(02:57):
was depressed about it. He's so glimpses, So let's show glimpses.
Ceedee Lamb goes down with what I think they're going
to come back and say a high ankle sprain. If
they come back and say high ankle spraying, it's a rat.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Pickens is not going to be the one that carries
this team, and you're Ceedee lambless, it's not. I don't
I would rather be the Bears because you got a
better opportunity of making a season of things this year
versus the Dallas Cowboys. Now, if Ceedee Lamb doesn't go down,

(03:34):
I would probably say it's a push scenario because I
actually think that he is a swingman in terms of
like if we were to say if Dak went down,
they probably would be in bad shape. Those are probably
the two guys if they went down for the Dallas Cowboys,
you say, you know what, this isn't a good team

(03:55):
or they're not going to be You can't assume they're
going to be a good team with those one of
those guys out, I don't. I look at Ben Johnson
and I say, okay, you can tell that Caleb Williams
and the play calls, the spacing that they're creating, the

(04:17):
opportunities are going to be there for Caleb Williams. Will
he deliver? I mean he's got a nice ball. I
mean when he's on, he's on some of those throws yesterday,
I mean all season. Really, if you've been watching them
in all season, he's had some nice throws. I would
be more confident in going with Chicago improving as the

(04:40):
season goes on. I don't think Dallas is going to improve,
and now I really don't think they're going to improve
if it comes out that it's a longer term type
of injury that Ceedee Lamb has. I'm going to Chicago, damn.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
I mean, Jonas, I feel like, you don't.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Know, I'd rather be Dallas because I that's well, No,
it's not, because I know what they are and I
knew what they were going into the season, so none
of this surprises me.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
There's just so much you're using reverse psychologie. It's not
I don't care. What do I care? On yourself?

Speaker 5 (05:14):
You're a Bears fan, dude, It's okay.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
You can celeon you're from we know from, We're wired
or who cares about that has nothing to do with it.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
It plays an emotional part, and it doesn't.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
It does.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Listen, I gave up the emotional part of that. Professional.
I'm a professional. I give up the emotional part of that. No,
I'm not. I'm not attached to any of that. I mean, listen,
I did having plus one and a half yesterday. I
mean there was that, but I just think that I
don't know what you take away from it's a it's
a good sign. The offense look good. I just think

(05:47):
Dallas's defense is terrible, Like I really do. Look what
the Giants did to him the week before. Russell Wilson
threw for what four hundred and thirty yards against Dallas's
defense the week before. Like that defense is bad and
so they've got to be in shootouts to win games.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
And you know, there was just you.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Know, a couple of mistakes from Dak, there was turnovers,
and I just feel like the Bears going on. I
think they went on a nineteen play drive yesterday. I
think they went on a nineteen play drive yesterday. I
don't know when the last time that's ever happened. And
they went nineteen plays on Dallas because their defense is terrible.

(06:26):
And I knew that going into the season. So Dallas
struggling isn't a letdown. When the Bear struggled through the
first couple of weeks, it's.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Like, come on, like, which team has the better chance
to have a good year?

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Neither?

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Oh that's true, Well, which one hads the more impressive neither?
Good year?

Speaker 4 (06:47):
The way September fifteenth, twenty twenty four, the New Orleans
Saints had a nineteen play drive ironically against the Dallas Cowboys,
ended up in a touchdown.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Hey time forty four on Dallas and that game, if.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
You remember, there's a there's a trend there.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
So there you go.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Now, the Matty Eberflus being the Dallas defensive coordinator, did
that add any any juice to to what was it
going into this game?

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Do you feel sure? I feel like maybe some of
those players, like, I'll look get after it a little bit.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
Yeah, I think that was one portion of it.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
I just think schematically too, when you know a defensive coordinator,
you can always stay a step ahead. It's really hard
where Matty Eberflus is that Dallas trying to implement his
defensive system, trying to get those players on the same page,
and clearly you know it's it's just I never felt
like they have really had a beat on anything that
Chicago was doing.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
And that's the least.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
How I see a lot of those matchups where you
see familiarity between the OC and the DC is I
always feel like the ocs had an advantage. You know,
the DC is so reliant on the execution of his
players that instance, the OC, you know, it's it can
be a little more scheme relevant, like there might be
familiarity between the OC and DC and in that regard.

(08:11):
But you know, you can do things to create separation,
to create to get guys isolated. You know, the defense
only has so many things they can do, right, they
don't know what you're doing. See the's gonna be man zone,
what's typo zone, split safety, post ie safety. Okay, if
it's a man, what's type of man?

Speaker 1 (08:28):
You know?

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Are are you bringing pressure with it? Are you just
playing coverage with them? With the whole player?

Speaker 4 (08:31):
As a linebacker safety, you can play two man, but
no one really does that as much anymore because most
quarterbacks are mobile enough to take off and hurt you
with their legs. So there's only a handful of things
they can do. And that's why when I'm sitting there
watching them like this is a masterclass of how to
basically breakdown what they're anticipating. The Dallas Cowboys were doing,
and you know, all it really takes is Kayleb Williams

(08:54):
then doing his part of it and guys making some plays.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
So that's fool's goal, is what you saying Chicago was fools?

Speaker 4 (09:03):
I would say I would say that outcome, you know,
that double digit kind of blowout. Yeah, it felt like
I don't anticipate that to be the Bears the rest
of the season. You know, I think there's still gonna
be some inconsistencies there. Look, maybe this is a launching
point for Killer Williams. Maybe this is what he needed,
arguably the best game of his career.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
You can make that case.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
So maybe that's part of this, and maybe I'll be wrong,
but it feels more like this season is gonna be
up and down for Chicago.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
I mean, I don't disagree with that. Oh the good
news is they got the Raiders this upcoming week. There's
that gave gave the Skins, I mean commanders some uh
oh jeez, so much needed success without their starting quarterback.
There goes our perfect game. Well, there goes tom Brady's
there goes the theory of Tom Brady making everybody better.

(09:52):
It'll be interesting to see next week. We just sucked.
That's what it comes down to. There you go.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
We were like we had a perfect show going until
you dropped Redskins on the air.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
I said Skins. I didn't say Rid's okay. You say
red Skins. Well, I said it's great. Racist.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Well, let's listen to Ben Johnson's first career win as
a head coach there over the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 6 (10:18):
Here he was postgame, Yeah, no, I mean listen to
the first two weeks have not gone the way we
wanted to and uh, you know it's early, and uh,
but we got to get the issues fixed. And I
thought those guys were committed to that here this week,
and we had a good week of preparation and they
came out and they played inspired football today, and so
good things happened when when you're playing hard, you're playing physical,

(10:41):
and you're playing for the guy next to you. And
I thought that's what happened here today.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
You know what I misread about Ben Johnson. I thought
he was one of these really calm, sort of a
mathematical like, you know, evil genius, but not really a
fiery type of guy, like offensive minded guy. He's got
a red ass like he is not a he's not
one of these Sean McVay postgame listen, you know, we

(11:06):
got to do this, or Kyle Shanahan even like he
he'll lay into guys, He'll he's not afraid to call out,
you know, practice habits.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
He's not afraid.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
He's he's a little more Dan Campbell than I actually thought,
because normally I would think an offensive guy going into
it as Zach Taylor or somebody like that, and he's
the complete opposite. He's got he's got a little bit
of a defensive mindset to him and the way he
approaches his players, calling out for.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
A little bit of a red ass.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah but all that, Where did that term come from?
Red ass?

Speaker 7 (11:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (11:37):
What does that? What does it really mean? What does
that mean? Little h little fiery, you know, a little uh,
got a little edge to you. But where did it
come from? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
It's a baseball reference referring to a player's sun extreme
rage fueled by the frustration of a long season, a
concept dating back to Babe Ruth Sarah.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
It describes an intensed outburst of anger, often directed at
inanimate objects like dugout toilets, light fixtures after.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
String of failures.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Yeah, there you go, red ass. So this is clearly
though not this is a cultural term, right.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
Oh, I mean we got to go there?

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Huh. I was just curious, are you.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
Saying because your ass can't get red?

Speaker 1 (12:21):
I'm sure can. I just don't think that you'd be
able to see it the same exact way I'd see
it on yours, you know.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
I mean it's from the Babe Ruth era. And if
you remember, one of the great trades in the history
of this show is we traded. Yeah, we gave Mames. Yeah,
we had bait. Yeah, and we took Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
When did this happen?

Speaker 1 (12:43):
It's been a while ago. That day you might not
have been.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
No, you were here because we were, uh we were
we were having the discussion about the top bait. There's
there's uh been rumors out there that maybe Babe Ruth.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Mix yeah, maybe waist down.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, And where do you get those rumors showed us?

Speaker 4 (13:05):
Because I know, I know Lavarden stumble upon this. You're
the only one who goes me gazing for like.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
It had nothing to do with that? Do you mean
it had nothing to do with that? If you just
if you look up, is.

Speaker 7 (13:17):
Babar Gazer gatherer gatherer gatherer gaither?

Speaker 1 (13:20):
If you look up, is is Babe Ruth Black.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
There's been there's been some rumors out there that you know,
Babe Ruth was not a not all the way pasty
and so we decide, all right, well, we'll give you
Babe Ruth, but we want Patrick Mahomes and so we
made the.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Trade on their fair trade. Yeah, I agree, one for one.
There he goes fair.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
I'm not finding anything. By the way, along the lines
of what you're trying to insinuate, I want you to
know that that.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Babe Ruth might have been black. I mean, listen, if
he was still here, I would ask, why do you
say it like that? Bruh, what like that?

Speaker 8 (13:58):
Babe Ruth is black? He might have been black, might
have been black. Why do you say it like that?

Speaker 5 (14:09):
Say like what you'd like, emphasize the.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
I'm just telling you what I heard that there's been
rumblings out there that he might have.

Speaker 5 (14:16):
Been black, and so you say Fox, Oh no, Fox.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
By the way, feel free anybody to clean up the studio.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
By the time we get in, it's unbelievable looking at
confetti everywhere.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Just I don't get it. Man. Oh that's what it was. Yeah,
congrats Steve. Yeah, what up? Steve.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
By the way, we are brought to you by the
Home Depot, your one partner with the assortment and support
to get the job done. Ask about all we can
do for you at the pro desk and start getting
the entire job delivered from one partn their home depot pro.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
It's about time, by the way, you did. Uh.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Speaking of the NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys, we kind
of hit on the New York Giants not looking great
and uh the situation with Travis Kelcey and Andy Reid
last night. The fans want Jackson Dart in all right.
Like it's like the Russell Wilson time is really really
short here. It feels like, and I know, you know,

(15:25):
when we have Pete Prisk go on.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Next time fencing what I mean, maybe maybe Russell Wilson's
a trap fencing.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Well, it just it feels like at some point Brian
day Balls, you know, saying after the game, hey listen,
I would boo to like I don't blame them. And
so Russell Wilson heard the chance, he heard the Jackson
Dart stuff and talked about a post game with.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Heis and lows.

Speaker 9 (15:49):
There's always, you know, tough moments, there's you know, you
got to have thick skin, you know what I mean,
Like you got to be able to you know who
you are, know the player that you are, know what
you're capable of. Obviously, you know, you know show show
that throughout my career and obviously you know last week
and everything else too, what we're capable of as an offense.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
I think that, you know, they they made a couple
more plays than us today.

Speaker 9 (16:09):
Like I said, it was a nine to six game
for most of the part of the game, pretty tight,
and we needed you know, one or two big plays
and unfortunately didn't come our way.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
So they lose and there, Yeah they're owing three. Yeah,
I mean it was good last week, Like sure you
had yardede, but John lost. They're not going to the playoffs.
The season's over. What are we waiting on? Like, like,
what are we waiting for?

Speaker 3 (16:33):
If you're Brian Dabond, you've got to show at least
some sort of a future, Like I mean, wouldn't you
wouldn't you think you'd want to make the move sometime
pretty quick here.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
I don't think the Giants organization is as responsive to
the outside noise as most.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
I just don't.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
I think he probably feels more comfortable because of how
that organizations owned the fact that the family and LaVar's
pointed this out. You know, there are part of the
front office that organization. I think they have a lot
of conversations, and I think he's got a good sense
of where they're at and they realize that they have
something special in the kid, but they don't want to
rush them. So, you know, is that the time going
in Steve Spagnola and they can't see Chiefs on Satdayny Football?

Speaker 5 (17:14):
To throw him in there probably not the start.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
You know, you'd like to find a softer game that
you feel a little better about and maybe get into
the meat of the season a bit more. So I
could see why they haven't so far. But I understand
them clamoring to put him in. He had a great preseason.
He's got a lot of upside. He's a you know,
a dual threat style of quarterback. That's why they have
a package for him. Which it was a little bit
ironic last night watching that. And look, he's done a

(17:40):
good job, like he's reading what the defense is giving him,
and you know it's a give read.

Speaker 5 (17:46):
So he's handled football off the campscattabuo.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
But you know that one sequence where he goes in,
he gets a couple of plays they put Russ in
and then then Russ is keeping it on his own read.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
Which it was ironic to me that at no point
did Chris collins.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
Worth bring up the fact that, like Russell Wilson was
doing this when he first got in the league, you know,
twelve thirteen years ago, like twenty twelve, twenty thirteen, twenty fourteen,
twenty fifteen, they had it odd even Buck, that's what
he used to call a no huddle. Like, I know
their offense, their system, you can check to it at
any time, you know. So like they're kind of acting

(18:20):
like Russell Wilson can't do his own read stuff. He
might not be as fast as he once was, but
he's still made a part of his early career out
of his ability to run. It was just kind of
baffling last night that like they're acting like Russell Wilson's
never been a guy who's like run the football. Yeah,
I gotta take him out of here. Putting the young Buck,
the dual threat quarterback, it's like, hold on a second.
Russell Wilson's rush for a lot of touchdowns, a lot

(18:41):
of yards in the league.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Yeah, I don't know his time is coming gone. Put
Jackson dart In moving on.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Riverside, Riverside, Riverside. Yeah, they're just they're not very good
on offense.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Yeah, I just I feel because it's such a great
fan base. You've got fans all over the state, the country,
the city. There different neighborhoods, even in Harlem. Speaking of Harlem,
this isn't just a game. It's a once in a
generation event, the Harlem Globetrotters one hundred Year Tour. Come

Speaker 1 (19:29):
You guys know I whistle.

Speaker 5 (19:33):
That, Well, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Oh wow, wait that was Jonas. Yeah, well that was good.
You're just trying to clown me. Oh so, now it's
good now that it was Jonahs. But it went very good.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
No, no, no, no, I was saying, I can't whistle.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Oh yeah, I'm not going to hear me whistling. Oh
I'm not going to say that.

Speaker 5 (19:56):
Oh yeah, about I'm about.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Well guess what, let's go.

Speaker 5 (22:29):
About, take about explain what is to people?

Speaker 1 (22:34):
I don't want to. I want to that is a
what do you mean by that? That's pretty good? But
that would that did catch everybody off guard. Uh.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
They were like wow, And I think Matt Lionard even said,
well he really went there, all right, He really, he
really did go there.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
That scene looked wild though they were out there. Why
the morning.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
You would not be able to handle it. Now, I
mean you get up around that time, but LaVar Wood
maybe are in the middle of it. You would not
be able to handle that environment.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Oh no, does that when you see that crowd respond
the way that because you guys had never been to
Salt Lake for a Utah game, right, I mean, I've
called a Utah game there, but we've big new Kickoff
has never been out there for a game. No, So
when you see and by the way that you know,
kind of a kind of a sloppy game, especially in
that first half. I don't know if it was the

(23:25):
ten am kick or what, but when you see that
crowd respond and embrace you guys there, like that just
goes to show you these places that you get to
go to really do seemingly appreciate it a lot more
than maybe some other ones that you know, complain with
maybe way too much about you know.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
Yeah, I mean, look, I think there's an element of
the fact that we're celebrating your school, we're celebrating your
alma mater. What makes it unique. You know, that city
that we're in, the college town that we're in. There's
all those things that play a factor in all of it.
But I mean, honestly, we're just trying to have a
good time. Like that's really what it comes down to.
We want to make sure that when people see it
on TV, they're like, man, if they come to my time,

(24:07):
I hope I can go. I hope I can to
be a part of that, Like I want to be
on TV. I want to be a part of you know,
how it all comes together and you really are and
you had like the barstool inment of it, and they've
got some funny personalities. But it's it's been really fun.
I mean that's it's been one of the coolest things
that I've I've probably ever done in my life that
I don't know that I anticipated it's feeling the way

(24:29):
I do. And honestly, I don't know how levarn is
because you know, you probably were maybe to some degree
dead set on Penn State or maybe a couple of schools.

Speaker 5 (24:39):
But when I travel around see all these different schools,
I play that in my mind.

Speaker 4 (24:42):
I'm like, I wonder what would have been like if
I want to play quarterback at Utah. You know, I
wonder what it would have been like if I would have,
you know, went out to out West and you know,
Baylor or somewhere like that. Like I always wonder how
your your life would have been different. When you go
to some of these different campuses and see some of
these different schools, you feel like you might.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Have missed out, Like like, dang, I love where I
always love my mob. But sometimes you know, when I've
gone to games away games and stuff like that and
seem like the environment stuff like that, You're like, man,
like I can only imagine for you because you guys
the way it's set up for you guys. But a

(25:22):
few times that I've gone around, you know, it's like
kind of like you ask yourself, like, dang, what would
have been like if, you know, if you did even
take a visit, Like I didn't even take visits, you know,
I was so loyal to what I was doing, I
didn't even take visits. So I went to pitt I
think that was the only visit that I took during

(25:43):
my recruitment. So yeah, I mean seeing it as an
older person, like going on visits like Tennessee blew me away.
You know, Tennessee blew me away. And that wasn't even
a game day, like it was just a recruiting visit,
you know. So Tennessee was pretty dope, Like, yeah, you
definitely have those moments. So I was able to have

(26:04):
those conversations with my son though, So I thought that
was pretty cool. Like make your decision based off of
really you know, if you really like a place or
feel a certain type of way about a place, you
need to really give it a fair opportunity before you
make your decision. So when he was going around Oregon,
you know uc LA, you know, the different schools that

(26:25):
he was going to. He really made his decision off
of taking taking visits and being in the environment. So yeah,
ended up choosing Penn State though, so I guess I
didn't make a horrible decision.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
A couple of things I want to point out though,
One Dave Portnoy was on the desk and inside the citium,
so that did happen there. I just want to make
sure that is out there and people are aware of that.
The other thing is Texas Tech is a damn good
football seam. They're pretty good good like see you know,
and it's one thing when you see them in person
because you see the size and how massive they are,

(27:00):
and they invested a lot in their defensive line and
really defense in general, which is dramatically improved.

Speaker 5 (27:06):
Like you called that first half.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Sloppy, I would say this, those both those teams were
smacking each other man, Like that was one of the
most physical games I can recall in the past couple
of years. Like being down there to hear it too,
Like dudes were absolutely getting after it.

Speaker 5 (27:23):
I mean, pads, cracking all the things that you look for.
Like there was some big time hits.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
I mean Baron Morton basically got kind of knocked out
of that game, and then Devin Dampier was was, you know,
trying to kind of hobbing around with all that.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
So it's just it was a battle like that was
a battle.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
Although in the end Will Hammond the backup who I
mean just apparently if you're a Texas Tech quarterback you
could just spin it like you could the one thing
you know you can do is still on the football.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
And because he came in and dice w utah, and
they challenged him.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
Because they're like, hey, we're gonna load up the box,
they're gonna stop the run, which, mind you, like Texas
Tech is you know everyone thinks about them, is this
like air raid team, especially with their quarterback excuse me,
with the off to coordinator who they've got, But they
can run the football too, man, and they can stop
the run.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
That team is better than people give them credit.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
And I think it challenges the idea in college football
because you've got every year the opportunity to reload your roster.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
And they did that.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
They improved it so much. And I talked to Cody Campbell,
who's their big you know, billionaire donor. It's paid off
at least so far. They don't have another ranked team
on their schedule the rest of the way. That could
change obviously in the Big Twelve. And also we've seen
the Big twelve teams upset one another. But that Texas
Tech team is for real. Utah's just got to figure
out some way of throwing downfield. I mean, they play

(28:40):
within like a ten to twenty yard box of the
line of scrimmage. You know, they just don't have any
ability to stretch the field vertically, and so it allows
the defensive tee off on you. But I will say
this just quickly, last point I mentioned that it wasn't
a great weekend of football. There were only I believe
three games that involved top twenty five teams. The Illinois
Indiana both played each other. But I'm saying like, if

(29:03):
you look at the schedule, only three games of the
top twenty five teams were a touchdown or less. Obviously
the Oklahoma Hoppering game, which that was a wild finish,
especially depending on you know who you had in that
game the betting line. That was a bad beat Michigan Nebraska,
which really wasn't as much of a three point game
as it looked. No, but you know, you go through

(29:24):
the list of teams and the and the you know,
marginal difference in these games, they're blowouts. I mean almost
every single game, with the exception of a couple, were blowouts.
And so that's why I was saying it wasn't a
great week of college football.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
When Utah through When Dan Pierre hit the pass downfield
for the touchdown and there was a called back lineman
that was a downfield field and it got called back, the.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Crowd was just like, oh damn.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
Like that was the hard thing is he was so
far downfield. Like it's one thing if it was close,
you know in college it's three parts down.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
He was like five.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
I'm like, what are you doing. It wasn't like it
was an RPO because they moved the pockets. I mean,
I don't know again maybe it was. Maybe I'm wrong,
but there's there never should have been off the line
that far downfield.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yeah, but that was that that to look like a
wild crowd, uh, And they were. They had the out
there at four in the morning.

Speaker 4 (30:20):
You still never explained what exactly you're trying to attack
me for. I mean, that was so not like you
can't find you probably can't find the sound of what
I said.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Anyway, what is it anyway? Soaking? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (30:31):
Yeah, what is John?

Speaker 1 (30:32):
I know what soaking is from what you were I
was just trying to get.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
The guys to soak in the atmosphere and it was
the best game the Big twelve schedule the season.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
You know. Yeah, let's see, I grocked it just so
I can blame Grock if I get in trouble for this.
Smart soaking refers to a practice among some young adults,
particularly with in certain conservative religious communities like some Mormons,
where a couple engages and sexual activity bye.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
By what.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Well, you know, you just you land the plane and
you don't move it anywhere, you know what I mean.
So well, then that calls me the question, what is
a bedshaker? Why don't you go ahead and put that
in rock?

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Yeah, they actually have people that a Nope, let's hear
it all right, let's hear it that way. We love you.

Speaker 5 (31:29):
Here's the things.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
We can't come out here to salt h and not
talk about one of the teams one of the best defenses.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
In the country.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
Can we one of the most dangerous quarterbacks that's a
dual threat quarterback and Devin damp Here can't we today?

Speaker 5 (31:41):
So thank you for that. I appreciate you started caught
the secondent that way.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
We love you.

Speaker 5 (31:44):
Here's the things.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
We can't come out here to salt h and not
talk about one of the teams women, she lost it.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
Oh wowlievable. Brady's Brady's not guilty, He's innocent until proven.

Speaker 5 (31:57):
You heard anything controversial?

Speaker 1 (31:58):
There? Nothing bad? I mean, this is this is ridiculous.
You know, if we're gonna I mean, what are we bribing.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
Some people on the show. You know, maybe they're they're
you know, taking care of better than.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Others, you know, tang bitch?

Speaker 5 (32:14):
Did you look it up?

Speaker 1 (32:15):
All right? Let's I may I can put together to
context clues of it.

Speaker 6 (32:19):
Do we have the uh?

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Do we have the inappropriate efforting?

Speaker 11 (32:23):
Efforting?

Speaker 1 (32:24):
All right? We are efforting, all right.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
So as soon as we have you know, the uh,
the soaking comment, we will let you know and uh
and play that over for anybody that did not hear that,
and who knows, maybe you could check it out on
some LG speakers because the LG X Boom Bounce is
the portable speaker that delivers a game changing sound from
practice to open runs. Power your play with up to

(32:46):
thirty hours of battery life and for a limited time
save twenty five percent at LG dot com with code
fall twenty five. That's f A L L two five
Bring the boom X boom. All right, so we do
have the the sound from Big Noon Kickoff over the weekend.

Speaker 5 (33:05):
The entire year. So soaking it all right, soaking it boys,
this is going to be held.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
So good a boy, he's a real class acts. Throw
with YOUQ, real class act.

Speaker 4 (33:20):
I don't know why everyone's getting on me about you know,
the way I choose to word my words, you know.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
Phrase my words?

Speaker 1 (33:26):
All Right, we got some issues, bro, Yeah, I.

Speaker 11 (33:29):
Thought it made sense. You're soaking it in right, embracing
the moment.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
It's means, yeah, it's alli meant.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
There was nothing more to it than that, all right,
So coming up next here, though, it was a long
weekend for everybody here on the show. One person may
have saved a life, but all of that will be yours.

a little over ten minutes from now on FSR. But
this show is sponsored by DraftKings sportsbook and official sports

(34:18):
betting partner of the NFL. And right now use the
promo code two pros to claim your special offer at DraftKings. Again,
that's promo code two Pros, the number two proos at DraftKings.

Speaker 1 (34:32):

Speaker 2 (34:36):
After your sports weekend happens, So it's time to get
the FSR IR report.

Speaker 3 (34:45):
Well, I know somebody on the show may have saved
the life this weekend, So go ahead, Lorena.

Speaker 12 (34:51):
Yeah, crazy story, guys. I'm actually going to send a
photo over for you. I was exploring Chicago this weekend
and you know the museum where ferrispeel Or does like
in the movie with the big lions in front of it.
So we're on the side of the street and we're
walking and all of a sudden, we hear this huge
and we look all the way across to the Starbucks,

(35:13):
a man fainted passed out and literally that was the
sound of his head cracking on the sidewalk.

Speaker 11 (35:21):
So we ran immediately across the street.

Speaker 12 (35:29):
I think it's crazy how many people did not jump
that were in the Starbucks. People stayed there, kept eating
their muffins and drinking their coffee, and we had time
to get across the street.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
Well, blood on the streets in Chicago's normal.

Speaker 12 (35:41):
Yeah, yeah, So we did find two medics that were
inside the Starbucks, put some stuff underneath his head, and
we helped him until the medics showed up, you know,
keeping him awake. What's your name? We got his phone open,
called his dad. I know he looks like an older man,
but yes, yes, his dad was able to and we
got the medic there. I stayed until everything was over

(36:02):
and he was on the stretcher getting in And I
just think it's so crazy when people get concussions. And
I know you guys have seen it a lot because
of the you know, obviously the industry you're in, But
like I knew he was gonna puke. I knew it
was gonna get really messy, and like I was ready.
I was ready and I was in it, and I'm
so good under pressure.

Speaker 11 (36:24):
That's a good point. Yeah, I's staying a couple of things.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
With him too. Yeah yeah, good for you. What hell
that messed with your stomach?

Speaker 2 (36:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (36:32):
Really yeah, I feel a littlequeasy or really well the
pictures along with the story. It's kind of like I
just got that.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
It was a lot.

Speaker 12 (36:42):
And then my friend was like, well, the shirt's trash.
My sweater was almost put under instead.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
So I'm glad I got to keep mine all good. Yeah,
you don't want to it's not worth there is. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (36:52):
And then I had to walk all the way back.
I got five blisters on my feet.

Speaker 13 (36:55):
It was all bad anyways, anyone else got something a
serious note though, It's cool that you did that, because
some people really do like when they have like seizures
or strokes and stuff like that, they're by themselves.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
A lot of times he was alone. Yeah, that's generally
the reason why you know, they they don't make it
like epileptic. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Yeah, seizures and stuff are scary because you just your
body gives out, and you know.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
You by yourself, you fall, you fall. Yeah, yeah, good job, right, right,
thank you that good karma. We need to get to
the break because my stomach is really see. Yeah, how
was the deep dish after that? Probably? Uh it tastes
a little bit different, so good.

Speaker 11 (37:35):
The cheese pull on that thing was crazy.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Yeah, that's a lot. You look nice at your your
gallow whatever.

Speaker 13 (37:42):
Oh thank you.

Speaker 11 (37:43):
I should go to more Gallas.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
You should.

Speaker 5 (37:46):
I should.

Speaker 11 (37:47):
So if anyone has Gallas, you just let me know.

Speaker 7 (37:49):
I will be there.

Speaker 5 (37:49):
You just show up. I mean I guess that. Yeah,
probably happen.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Oh there's a gall just like a like a bougie
sort of get together.

Speaker 12 (37:57):
Yeah, we were raising money for veterans. It was affirmed
of an event. Yeah they feed. Oh my god, I
think there was over five hundred thousand veterans across the
United States that they've fed already, and so we were
doing a huge.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Fundraiser for that.

Speaker 11 (38:09):
David Spade performed, so that was super fun. I got
to meet him backstage. He was a really nice guy,
and yeah it was it was like you was getting.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
I look at that, I know, super fun way to
represent and what a what a harsh deser reality that
then all of a sudden be back here with us,
you know, I.

Speaker 11 (38:31):
Missed you guys.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
I was excited.

Speaker 11 (38:33):
Oh my gosh, there were so many sports people. There
was a whole bunch of cowboys people there.

Speaker 12 (38:38):
We're in the Cowboys jerseys. And there were bears everywhere.
Everywhere I looked, there.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
Was a bear. The bears like former players, no.

Speaker 11 (38:48):
Like there was some really tall men.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
I was curious, were you I was your player? My interest? Indeed, Rana,
you are the player of the player, like MVP of
the players. But at least you saved the life. So
there you go. You deserve it. Enjoy all right, Well
I'm gonna go throw up now
