by searching f s R. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
So there's somebody in the NFL that just can't help themselves.
They can't. They're trying, they're they're selling you and telling

(00:44):
you all the right things, but they cannot help themselves.
We will get into that for you coming up here
in just a couple of moments from now, Two Pros
and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn not with us. It is a solo mission
here Jonas Knocks with the Here on fs are you
can hang out with us as always on the I
Heart Radio apping. You can find us on hundreds of
affiliates all across the country and wherever you are, making

(01:05):
us a part of your Labor Day. We appreciate it
and appreciate hanging out with us here. We're gonna take
you all the way up until nine am Eastern time,
six o'clock Pacific. Obviously a busy Monday following a wild
weekend in college football. We've got another one to play
with coming up later on between Clemson and Georgia Tech.
That'll be a good time. We saw, you know, the

(01:26):
debut of Brett Venables at Oklahoma and and them getting
it done there. They gotta win in week one, so
everybody's really fired up. And speaking of Oklahoma, Baker Mayfield,
the guy just can't help himself. Man, he cannot help himself.
He's gonna try and tell you like, oh, no, I
didn't say those things about you know, the Cleveland Browns

(01:47):
and say you know, I'm gonna f them up, And
then he's gonna deny that and say, no, that's that's
not exactly how this stuff works. And you know I
don't pull any of that stuff, and etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.
The guy can't help himself. So he teased something that
was going to be dropping this weekend. All right, this
past weekend, he teased something he showed like a little image.

(02:10):
It was like him with it with a band anon
and and he thought to your looka what is it?
What is he teasing? All of a sudden, it turns
out that Baker Mayfield has got a brand new, officially
licensed T shirt. And one of the T shirts says,
quote off the leash with a dog caller on the
leash in reference to the Cleveland Browns and the the

(02:34):
Dog Pound and the dog callers and all that and uh,
and that is Baker Mayfield's approach as Week one of
the NFL season is is underway coming up here in
the next few days. So he's got these officially licensed shirts.
He's off the leash. I think it's entertaining as hell.
I love that Baker Mayfield has taken this approach. I
love when Baker Mayfields a red ass. I always think

(02:55):
he responds well in that situation. If you go through
his entire career, go back to college, you know, when
he had to leave one school and go to the next.
He played well one a Heisman Trophy when he when
he you know, felt like he was being uh, somebody
wasn't shaking his hand or they were showing him disrespect.
When he was playing Kansas, went out there, played his
ass off and let it be known. When he goes

(03:16):
to the NFL and he feels like, you know, people
are gonna be doubting him. He gets to the NFL.
If he's put in a bad spot, he usually always
bounces back. So I love this about Baker Mayfield. But
the dude can't help himself. He can. And so when
he says I never said those things about I'm gonna
f up the Cleveland Browns, you probably did. Man, you

(03:39):
probably did. And it's okay. Like some people don't like
that type of Baker Mayfield, I happen to like it.
He's better when he's got a red ass, all right. Like,
you know, let's not forget for no reason whatsoever, he
ran from cops for no reason. Just decide today. You know,
I feel like I'm getting questioned here. You know, I've

(03:59):
got I've got a pizza staying on my shirt because
I've got an entire large pizza. I've been out boozing
and I've been in the elbow a little bit and
the cop approaches me and next thing night, I just
run from the cops. Why no clue, No good reason
I think gets tackled by cops in Arkansas, have no reason,
no understanding why, no clue why it happened. That's Baker Mayfield.

(04:20):
I can't help himself sometimes, Like he actually reminds me
of everybody's got a dude in their group. Every group
of friends has this guy. No matter where you go,
he always gets in an altercation, no matter what, and
you always have to sort of watch out for him,

(04:40):
like you like you oh it just and he's one
of those guys who, well he's he's giving me a look.
Everybody's giving you a look. Man, everybody's looking at you
the wrong way. Every time we go out, there's there's
always somebody in the group who can't help themselves. They
get into an altercation. Every time you're listening to this

(05:01):
right now, you're thinking of that person to hang out with.
You might even be that person. It's not that you
end up in bad situations all the time. You are
the bad situation. There's always a problem. You go to
a bar, you're standing in line to get a drink,
guy bumps your elbow. Next thing you know, their their nose,
two nose, and there's some shoving and all of a

(05:23):
sudden you all get kicked out. Hey, who who? Why
what's happening here? Why are we being kicked out? Baker again? Okay?
I mean, dude, every time we go out there's a problem.
Go to a house party, you know, to go to
get a you know, something out of the out of
the fridge. Next you know, somebody bumps into you start

(05:43):
giving them a dirty look. Now you're gotta leave the
house a party. If there's always a guy who for
whatever reason has to get into some sort of an issue,
some sort of an altercation, they're just ready to go
to moment's notice. And you love them, but it's like
Ben really do in this again, Baker Mayfield strikes me
as that guy, not in the literal sense, but as

(06:06):
somebody who cannot help themselves. Like he's looking around, he
sees what's happening. He knows the Browns are coming up.
It's week one. He's gonna be motivated. He's trying to
tell everybody and and and say all the nice things
and all the right things. And there's you know, there's
there's not gonna be any issues whatsoever. And this is

(06:26):
only about football, and it's the Panthers versus Browns and YadA, YadA, YadA.
And then as the game approaches, right after he just
got done telling you, I didn't say that I'm gonna
f up the Cleveland Browns. He just got done telling
us that a few days ago, he teases and then
launches officially licensed T shirts with a reference to off

(06:47):
the Leash. Now that he's no longer remember the Cleveland Browns.
Dude can't help himself, and it's great. That's how it
should be. So I hope we get to Week one.
I will be plays well against the Browns. I've said
this before, all right. I called my shot on this.
I promise you this is going to happen. If Baker

(07:08):
Mayfield throws a touchdown or scores a touchdown, there will
be a celebration in which he runs up to the
guy who catches the touchdown and pretends to give him
a massage. I'm telling you, and I'm not saying that
to be funny. I absolutely want to percent believe that
that's going to happen. All right, If that's a prop

(07:28):
bet on DraftKings, I will hammer that prop bet. You'll
probably even get it a plus money. I would hammer
that prop bet because He's gonna walk up to somebody
and pretend like he's given him a shoulder rub. And
why do you think he's doing that? Why would he
be doing that. I can't imagine why he would hold
any sort of grudge or make any sort of Why

(07:49):
would Baker Mayfeel be doing that, Because that's who he is,
and right or wrong, this is just who the guy is.
And so when Miles Garrett responds to the to the
initial comment of Baker Mayfield saying he's gonna f up,
Miles Garrett even said, Yeah, that's just that's Baker's what
we expect. That's just who the dude is. I mean

(08:13):
like that, we we kind of all know this. I
just the part I don't get is why does he
try and deny it? Like, just roll with it? You
play well like this, I mean, this is this is
when Baker Mayfield's at his best. So this is gonna
be a lot of fun to watch. Now. Baker Mayfield's
got T shirts. He's now denying things that he said

(08:35):
about the Cleveland Browns. But everybody gets it. And as
we talked about last week, there were ever a time
in which if you were a Baker Mayfield detractor. If
you were one of those people who didn't like his
attitude and doesn't like his personality and think he's too
cocky and thinks he runs his mouth too much, and
don't if you don't like any of that stuff. This
is the one time where everybody would understand why Baker

(08:59):
may feel is doing the things that he's doing, and
everybody would, resounding with nod of the head and approval, say,
we get it, dude, you got screwed. The Browns left
you hung out to dry. We get it, you got screwed.
Totally understandable, makes all the sense in the world. So

(09:20):
we get to pay attention to that, and it adds
another storyline and another layer to the Browns and Panthers.
Coming up in week one, Jonas knocks here two pros
and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio you can
hang out with us as always on the I Heart
Radio app. We are going to take you all the
way up until nine am Eastern times six o'clock specific
Coming up later on this hour, we're gonna have another

(09:40):
edition of would you rather here? On FS are as
we uh, you know, some fun questions sports otherwise as
we bounce around, uh some major topics here on a
special Labor Day edition here of two pc O j
No Lavari Errington, no Brady Quinn, but you got me
solo for the next couple of hours, all right. It's
coming up next some but in the NFL is speaking

(10:01):
all right now. They took what should have been a
really really quick response and they expounded upon it like
we rarely hear ever and you will hear from them.
That's coming up next year on fs are be sure
to catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup
of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks

(10:23):
week days at six am Eastern, three am Pacific on
Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio. Two Pros
and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio. Jonas knocks
with you here, No LaVar Arrington, no Brady Quinn. They'll
be back with us coming up tomorrow. But I will
take you all the way up. It's a solo mission
here on a Labor day, all right. So we're gonna
have a good time here as we already have, uh,

(10:46):
with a couple more hours to play with here as
we uh listen, things are gonna get a little dicey.
We got some would you rather coming up later on
this hour and about ten minutes from now, we are
going to get into Um, what I believe is I'm
trying to I'm trying to figure out the the right
word on this. I believe somebody is not telling the truth.

(11:11):
In fact, let me just put it this way, I
believe somebody is full of crap. All right, there's somebody
in the world of football who is full of crap.
They're gonna try and tell you they're not. They're gonna
try and sell you on what their current situation is.
I think it's a bunch of bs. I think it's
gonna play out again just like it did this offseason
in the next couple of years, the next couple of
years from now. So we'll get into that for you
here again. Ten minutes from now on fs are Uh

(11:34):
somebody wrote in, by the way, and they sent in
a tweet Alison wants to know if I'm going to
find myself today. Uh No, I know that will not
be happening because the fine system on this show, for
those of you that are that are new to the program,
the fine system is this Brady gets fined when he
says he doesn't care about a topic because he's very

(11:55):
dismissive about it and he's very negative about it, and
so when he has that attitude, he gets fined. LaVar
gets fined when he unnecessarily brings up his time in
Washington and complains about the organization of UH with the
Commandos formerly the football team formally a name that you're
not allowed to say or else you lose your job.

(12:16):
So LaVar gets fine with that, And apparently I get
fined if I'm passive aggressive. But the issue is they
don't know the difference between being passive aggressive and being
a ball buster being a smartass all right, sarcasm is
not being passive aggressive. Passive aggressive has more of a
negative connotation. So if I'm a smartass at ever during

(12:38):
at all during the show, I get fined. So my
fine total is significantly higher than the other two guys
because they don't know the difference between being sarcastic and
then being passive aggressive. They don't know, and I've already
paid my fine. So if you're asking whether or not
I'm gonna pay a fine today with them not here,
absolutely not. And if you want the most massive aggression

(13:00):
passive aggressive show, you've ever gotten, it'll be today because
if they think they're gonna come after me retroactively for
this show when they're not here on Labor Day and
I am, they can both kiss my ass simultaneously, one
cheek at a time, not happening, not paying fines. Make
sure that that gets back to him, Lee, I'm not
paying anybody's fine here, not doing it. I was gonna

(13:21):
say that was passive aggressive, but I think that was
just straightforward. It's a fine free ship. Yeah, no, fine today,
it's a holiday call. Whatever you want give me. Sarcastic
can't be a ballbuster because I get pop ten dollars.
It's not even Brady's LaVar LaVar loves pointing out when
I get deducted ten dollars. He loves it, like like it,

(13:45):
like it is the favorite part of the show for
LaVar Arrington. So that part of the show will not
be on today's show because they are not here. Uh
So there is no fine system in place. So I
hope they answer your question. All right, Um, get me
on Twitter at the Jonas Knocks at the Jonas Knocks
on Twitter. So Bill Belichick, like sometimes Belichick gives you
these just sort of dismissive one or two word responses,

(14:12):
not really into the question. You ask him very dry
onto Cincinnati, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Most of the time it's that.
Then there's other times where he gives you something more
and it could be the most innocuous question or the
most innocuous conversation or topic, and he'll expound upon it

(14:35):
in a way that you just didn't see coming. Belichick
was asked on Sunday about what to expect from the
Miami Dolphins. And by the way, the New England Patriots
are already heading out there on Tuesday so they can
get acclimated to the humidity in South Beach. So Belichick
was asked about what to expect from the Miami Dolphins

(15:00):
in Week one and the excitement that goes along with it,
And here was the coach of the New England Patriots.
That's the sixty four thousand dollar question on everything opening days,
Opening Day, nobody has really shown much in preseason. The
cards will be on the table on Sunday, and like
every opening game, I'm sure we'll have to make some
adjustments once we see what they're doing, um and vice versa.

(15:22):
That's always the way it is, so you have to
leave room for a little bit of the unknown. Things
they've been working on they haven't shown, or things specifically
game plan for you that I've had trouble with at
some point. They've had a lot of time to prepare
for the game several months, as have we. So there's
a you know, a big part of the unknown. Think
all that will clear up in the first two to

(15:44):
three weeks of the season when teams settle into their
style of play that they want to bank on, But
right now that's not necessarily known. And and league wide,
the playing time for you know, a lot of the
key players on every team is low, so it's hard
to hard to tell how some of their their players

(16:05):
are going to be used. But we know they're gonna
the guys are gonna feature, So let's see how goes.
What the a minute of that? Dude, He's been asked
about so many more interesting topics, and all we've gotten
is onto Cincinnati. I don't really have anything else to say,
not really. Somebody asked him, like, hey, you know, what

(16:26):
do you really expect week one from the Miami Dolphins?
And he gave you a minute plus of that, Like
this is like, this has been my point on Belichick,
and by the way, he's absolutely correct. Right, nobody has
any idea what's happened in Week one. I can assure you,
mark my words, I can assure you there will be
an upset Week one of the season, and there's gonna

(16:47):
be a bunch of overreactions and everyone's gonna say, oh,
I guess we were wrong about this team. But I
guess we were dead wrong about this team. And then
they're going to go on to lose every every other
game the rest of the year. Remember was it last year,
a couple of years ago. Oh, when the Indianapolis Colts
lost to Jacksonville in Week one and the thought was, man,

(17:10):
Doug Morons got his guys playing hard week one of
the season. Who boy? And these these Indianapolis Colts with
Philip Rivers talk about a bad performance to open up
the year. Jacksonville lost to every game after that, literally
lost every single game. Like there were people saying after
the first game, way to go, Jacksonville, You're gonna blow

(17:31):
your chances with Trevor Lawrence in the draft. Oh, don't worry,
there's another three months to go. And they lost fifteen straight,
like we're gonna play this game. So Belichick is absolutely correct.
You have no idea what you're gonna get because nobody's
showing anything in the preseason. You don't know. For example,

(17:51):
the Jets, Texans, and Bears. They have two things in
common those three teams. Number One, they were all undefeated
in the preseason, right. The second thing all three of
those teams have in common, they're going to be awful
football teams this year. Bad. Bad, I mean, if you

(18:16):
think I'm lying, there's a prop bet on DraftKings where
you can bet on which team has the most losses,
who's got the worst record? Who do you think are
in the running for those Huh? Wouldn't you know? The Jets, Texans,
and Bears all in the running for those odds, all
in the running for those categories, and and they just

(18:38):
all want every single one of their preseason games. So
Belichick's right, you have no idea what you're gonna get
because nobody's really showing anything, and and it's kind of,
you know, you're you're just sort of trying to figure
this whole thing out, and you're not not really sure
whether or not one team is legitimately good and one team.
But like the other thing is Belichick picks and chooses

(19:01):
when he wants to be conversational. Like if you've listened
to him when he's really into a conversation, or you
talk to enough players who have played for him, they'll
tell you the guy you get that the media gets like,
that's not the same guy, like this is this is
actually pretty funny. Andy Furman, Fox sports radio host, Fox

(19:23):
Sports Radio Legend. We give him a hard time because
he sends everybody's letters, like he he writes letters to everybody,
like that's just his thing. He loves sending letters, he
loves going to the post office. He continues to do it.
He'll send stuff that is so unimportant and weird that

(19:45):
he's asked people please stop sending me. This not not creepy,
Like he's not sending you know, a body part, Like
you're not opening up a large envelope and there's a
hand inside of it, all right, it's not. It's not
The Departed where where he pulls out a hand out
of a ziplock because he wants to intimidate Leonardo DiCaprio.
It's not that, all right. He just he likes to

(20:07):
go to the post office. He likes to send mail
and he doesn't everybody, So he sends me a bunch
of stuff. He sends Eddie Garcia a bunch of stuff.
Eddie throws it all away, doesn't want it, and it'll
be like a clipping of an article where the word
Garcia is in it, or it's got a hockey story.
Or for me, he sent me a clipping of an
article that had the name Knoxville in it, and he

(20:28):
highlighted the knox portion and sent me that article as
if I really give a crap about that article from
the Cincinnati Post Enquirer whatever it's called that he had
to send me. But that's his thing. One of the
people that gets letters from Andy Furman is Bill Belichick,

(20:52):
And the best part about it, Belichick writes him back
every time. I'm not even making that up every time.
How do I know that? Because Andy takes the reply
from Belichick, makes a copy and then mails that to me.
That that is how sick of the head he is.

(21:12):
Belichick writes him back every time and could not be nicer.
Belichick has done interviews during the season on Fox Sports
Radio with Andy Furman, and he was like filling in
it was like a week day or something like that,
and and Belichick agreed to come on, called in himself,

(21:36):
no pr nobody from the Patriots, called the Fox Sports
radio line himself and did an interview with Andy Furman.
He never does that ever, for anybody, under any circumstance.
Now he's probably got some sort of a deal in
in Boston where he he doesn't interview weekly with somebody,

(21:57):
but he's getting paid for it. He's getting paid by
Andy Furman. He did it because Andy has been sending
him letters for years. He writes him back and he
appreciates it. And he's conversational and and a super good dude.
But the guy you get in press conferences wants nothing
to do with anybody. Curmudgeon looks like he's angry. He's

(22:19):
wearing the hoodie dresses like he's homeless, uh had disheveled,
has no interest in having any sort of back and
forth with anybody in the media. Yet he'll send letters
to a guy at Fox Sports Radio. He'll come on
the air and do interviews with the guy at Fox
Sports Radio, and then when you ask him about what

(22:39):
to expect week one, he'll give you a minute response
of not only what's gonna happen in week one, but
how this is going to impact the first couple of
weeks of the season. Like him Saban, some of these
guys they pick and choose when they want to be interactive.
And that was the prime example of Nick Saban deciding,
you know what, I haven't talked for longer than four

(23:01):
seconds and a clip in a while. Let me go
ahead and get this off my chest. And I can
assure you next time he does a press conference, you're
gonna get the the Bill Belichick that says two words,
five responses and he's in and out of the press
conference in seven seconds. It's great. Jonas Knox here Fox
Sports Radio. Two pros and a cup of Joe with
you here on FS are coming up ten minutes from now.

(23:22):
We are going to have another edition of would you Rather?
All right, some would you rather? Hear fun questions from
not only around the world of sports, but beyond. And
we've got to make some really, really tough decisions, so
we'll get into that for you here. UM. So, the
Michigan Wolverines are currently a fifty point favorite as they
host Hawaii this upcoming Saturday. Fifty five zero um Hawaii

(23:48):
isn't like there's still FBS. I mean, this isn't like
an AI A or Division six or yeah. Just but
that's how things are going in Hawaii. I had had
a chance to watch a little bit of that game
the other night. They are really really not good. It's
it's a it's a tough spot to be in. Uh.
You know, our our good friends on Fox Sports, the

(24:10):
Blowtorch of the Hawaiian Islands, they know what's going on.
It's a tough spot for Timmy Changing Company, all right.
They've got stadium issues, They've got all sorts of stuff
going on there. You had trying to get through the
the Todd Graham experience and all that. But uh, you know,
Timmy Chang is trying to figure that whole thing out
and and try and really focus on the fact that
he loves Hawaii and he really wants to get this

(24:32):
program back on back on track. Timmy Chang absolutely wants
to stay at Hawaii now. Jim Harbor, on the other hand,
he's telling you all the right things. I mean, he's
really selling you. Jim Harbaugh was had an interview with
Gen Wojahowski of ESPN on Saturday, and um he said

(24:53):
in regards to him checking out the Minnesota Vikings quote,
I don't apologize for taking a look. And the one
that doesn't get printed is I don't apologize for wanting
to be at Michigan. Seemed to cut off that last part.
And that's why I'm at happy as can be. And
he went on to talk about how the temptation to
go back to the NFL A lot of this is

(25:14):
because they were in a super Bowl, and they nearly
want a super Bowl. But you know, if you want
a National championship, he'd be happy with that too, all Right,
Jim Harbaugh is kind of full of crap here. Okay,
he's happy at Michigan. Sure, he got his contract extension.
It's his alma mater. It's great. There's a reason he
went and kicked the tires on the Minnesota Vikings job.

(25:38):
But like there's a reason that happened, right, It isn't.
It isn't like, you know, he was doing it to
try and get you know, a you know, a better
deal on from the Michigan Wolverines, like when he went
to go meet because there was some ties there there
was a connection with Quescia Dopha Menza, the Vikings general manager.
What he went there to talk with Minnesota. Jim Harbaugh

(25:59):
went there with the understanding of the thought that he
was going to get the gig. That's why you went there.
This had nothing to do with trying to get Michigan
to up their offer. Everything I've heard is the offer
he agreed to was the offer that had been on
the table. There was no raise. That's what he agreed to.

(26:21):
That somebody I talked to said, no man like that
that had been sitting there. Michigan was waiting on him
to make a move. He knocked on the doors in Minnesota,
and when he realized, oh, you're not just gonna get
the job. In fact, we're not even offering you the job.
We just want to talk to you about it. And
then he all of a sudden decided he was going
to go back to Michigan. So like he could say, well,

(26:43):
I'm happy it can be and I love it here.
And you know, I don't apologize for taking a look.
It was more than a look. You went there with
an understanding that you were going to get that job,
because if Minnesota said, hey, we're gonna give you the job,
all right. In fact, you got a choice to make.
It's either you're the head coach of the Vikings or

(27:05):
you can go back to Michigan. What do you think
Jim Harba does. He signs with Minnesota and you never
see him in an harbor again except to pick up
his stuff. He's gone. He wants to go back to
the NFL like that. That's why he went there. So
this whole yeah, you know, forget about that. I'm happy

(27:27):
where I'm at in Michigan. The problem for Harby is
if he was ever going to leave, that was the
time to do it, because he couldn't leave without beating
Ohio State at least once. He couldn't, like, you don't
really recover from that. Like, even if he never wins
a national title, at least he beat him once. And

(27:49):
that's a real thing. And we've talked about on the
show before to where Brady grew up in Dublin, right
next door to Columbus. And I asked the question, if
you're an Ohio State fan, would you either win a
national championship but lose to Michigan that year or beat
Michigan but lose the national championship. I can assure you

(28:10):
it's beat Michigan and lose a national championship. It's why
John Cooper is looked at differently than maybe he should
by Ohio State fans because he struggled against Michigan. Jim Trussell,
on the other hand, really successful Urban Meyer, really successful
getting against Michigan undefeated, like it's that important, so hardpuff

(28:33):
he was gonna leave, that was the time to go.
He didn't. So now he's gonna end up coming back
to Michigan this year. They're gonna play Ohio State at
the end of the year. Ohio State's going to annihilate them.
No offense to Michigan fans. That's how that's gonna go.
Ohio State's gonna get their revenge in Columbus. We all
know it. You know it, everybody knows it. There's not

(28:57):
probably not going to be the opportunity to leave to
go to the NFL out after this season. And I
think some of the bloom is off the rows, so
to speak, when it comes to Harbor based on how
the job interview went last year and now he's back
at Michigan. Oh And, by the way, just got annihilated
by his our tribal So it's probably gonna be a
couple of years, but I almost guarantee you Jim Harba

(29:18):
is gonna end up back in the NFL. And the
only reason he's not in the NFL now is because
the Vikings didn't offer him the job. Jonas Knox Two

here on fs ARE No Brady, No LaVar. They'll be
back on the air tomorrow. It's a solo mission today
here on a Labor day from me. We will take
you all the way up until nine am Eastern times,
six o'clock Pacific, though coming up in about ten minutes
from now, a little over ten minutes from now, Uh,
we are going to UM. I don't want to say

(30:45):
that we're gonna be negative, but somebody's got to tell
the truth, alright, somebody's got to tell the truth. If
you're an NFL fan, you need to hear this. If
you are a fan of one of these teams, you
need to hear this. So we will have that conversation
with you again a little over ten minutes from now
here on Fox Sports Radio. But right now it is
time for a special edition of this Let's make history.

(31:11):
Would you rather your random topics, sports or otherwise? All right,
lead to lap Executive producer, What do we got here
on a labor day for what you're rather? All right,
this might be an obvious one for those in attendance
right here, But would you rather on a labor day
be hit with a head cold or have to go
into work? Oh? Going to work? Yeah? Yeah? I mean, like,

(31:34):
plus we get out early, man, like it's you know,
six am. We're good, get a little nap, fire up
the grill, Negro modelos today, Berna or what I'm not
willing today? Hele, no, why not? Come on? No, mommy's
put put up an umbrella. Good, come on with us,

(31:55):
and I know I'm hoping that I can grill if
there's some shade. Listen, I don't mind the heat. It's
a little bit of breeze. We can get a little
bit of a breeze. M right with that, because there
were times over the weekend there was no breeze. It
was actually Saturday. Yeah, it was left up. So let's yeah,
that would be a little bit of a bummer. I mean, listen,

(32:16):
head colds not fun going to work on labor day.
There's there's some people going to work right now, maybe
you know, picking up some extra hours, getting some overtime whatever.
I mean, we're all this together here kind of grinding away.
What else we got? Lee? All right, I'm not sure
how many sangria lovers we have amongst us, But would
you rather on Labor Day only be able to drink

(32:36):
sangria or have to chug a beer? One beer through
a hot dog? Sangria? Yeah, I can't. Like, my wife
loves sangria, although some they're made differently at certain places,
like some of them put brandy in them and then
others don't. But she loves sangria. And they'll make their
own sangria and they'll they'll cut up fruit and put

(33:00):
it in and so by the time you get to
the fruit at the bottom, it's soaked in booze. So
if you, if you like, take one of the orange slices,
it's basically red at that point from the saying gri
if you're using the red, saying gria, and it's pretty
tasty man saying, especially on a hot day, saying grea
is not a bad option. The hot dog and the
beer thing, the sodium intake is like the more I

(33:25):
watch that video, the more disgusted I get. Whatever happened
to that guy? Did you get like a sponsorship deal
or anything like that? Did he? Uh, like hot dog
strong things? Ah? Man, Like, it's just it's it's gross.
You know what else, I've never understood people like you.
Ever been to Wendy's and you dip a fry in
the frosty? There's people that that buy fries and dip

(33:48):
the fry in the frosty. Can't you just separate it,
Like you don't have to, like drink your beer through
a hot dog. Can't you put the hot dog on
the side and enjoy it one at a time and
then wash it down? He said, like some of these
food combinations people got problems. Man, do you got a
problem with chili cheese fries? Come on, that's a topping, right,
Dipping a fry in a Frosty's weird, man, It's it's

(34:12):
a it's a weird thing to do. Really, I'm sorry.
Have you tried it? Yeah? I don't get it. I
don't get it. It's a weird. It's a weird combination.
But people swear by it, man, They love it. Of course.
Then again, my dad used to put salt and pepper
on watermelon and eat it like that, And I remember
The first time I saw him, I was like, Dad,
what are you doing? And He's like, Oh, this is

(34:33):
what we did in Illinois. This is growing up. This
is how we eat our watermelon. And then as I
got older, my wife and our family they do the
exact same thing. It's everything's got that or takeen on it?
Like you dump the tahen on. You know I didn't.
You didn't You get to ta hean at some liquor
store in Las Vegas and we were walking around, Lee
to add to your beer is great. We're walking around

(34:59):
the Friday after a draft with finished work and all that.
The beer salt, yeah, And Lee's like, I gotta I
gotta run in and get some beer salt. I still
have this the Mitchellotta beer salt. I'm like, what do
you mean? You're getting beer salt and we're drinking a
tall Boy. This is great about Vegas. You can walk
around drinking a twenty four on the street and somebody's
trying to sell you and I love Las Vegas T
shirt for seven dollars. And Lee runs into this liquor

(35:20):
store to buy beer salt and he's pouring salt in
his beer. What are you doing, dude? It was. It
was a different flavor than I hadn't seen before. I
had the line, I had the lemon, and I saw
they had Mitchellotta beer salt. Still, it's it's fantastic. That's
just unbelievable. All right, what else we got? We got
a couple of games on today? Would you rather attend

(35:42):
on Labor Day? Clemson versus Georgia Tech? A double header
between the Blue Jays and Orioles at Camden Yards or
the U S open Oh, Clemson Georgia Tech. Yeah? And
and by the way, New York in August September. Can
you talk about humidity? It is disgusting. Give me Clemson

(36:02):
Georgia Tech. I think that might be a fun game.
You know, go to Camden Yards. You're going there for
a double header blue Jay's Orioles the wild card? All right?
Are you gonna stay sober the entire time? Uh? No,
that would be a deal breaker. What else? Would you

(36:24):
rather walk barefoot in an NFL locker room or get
food poison from the stadium? Standfood barefoot? The food poisoning sucks, man.
I got food poisoning one time, and it's quite It
didn't really last long, but for twenty four hours. Nothing
was staying down, nothing at all. And I know exactly

(36:45):
where I got it from. I got it from a
a sandwich shop. I'm not going to say the name
of the sandwich shop. It's a well known chain. I
got it from a sandwich shop in downtown l A.
I was going to it. I think I was going
to a wrestling event. I was going to like some
w w E event, and I walked around the corner
to get a sandwich, and halfway through the restling event,
I was like, all right, we're gonna get going here.

(37:07):
We've got a problem. We got a volcano on one
end and you know, waterfall the other. Fox Sports Radio
