Speaker 4 (01:11):
Happened late too. This kid came in late.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
You know, you never know when they're gonna test.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
You just never know. The randoms will get you after
them great performances. He must have had a real great
performance on.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
The show yesterday and were like, we got a test.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Yeah, I had a test. Wait for him. Matters show.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Was it was in the program, did Latimer have the
vial of somebody else's inside the toilet paper holder? Is
that where it was?

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Yes, it was, there was a test tube right there.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Yeah, good for him.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I honestly believed that they started because when when they
were first testing, they really did not go into the
stall with you. I think the program actually made it
where they changed a rule and started going into you
had to drop your pants below your ankles while the
specimen collectors standing in there watching.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Did you ever hear the story about John Jones when
he was trying to avoid a piss test. So apparently
they were showing up and they were going to test him,
and he, you know, either didn't want to take the
test for whatever reason, maybe there was something else in
his system. He didn't want getting out and being public.

(02:31):
You know, he's had a couple of issues with that,
not so much the PD stuff, but you know some
other stuff. Likes to party a little bit. So he
saw them coming to his where he trains at, which
I think is the Jackson Winkle John Academy in Albuquerque,
and he saw them coming up to the door, so
he went and hid under the cage. So he hid

(02:54):
under the cage that they train in and just waited
them out, and I guess they they waited around for
him to take this test, and they were like, well
just wait, no problem, you know, they told him why
he went somewhere else. He was hiding under the cage
the whole time while while he was waiting for him,
like he had to go to the bathroom, so he

(03:16):
was just he just like let it fly under the cage.
And finally they got exhausted, They're like, all right, we'll
just come back another day, and they left and he
came out and he had just been drenched in urine,
Like he didn't want to test so badly that he
just hid under the cage until they finally left because
they got tired and they were running late to some

(03:36):
of the other appointments. And that's how that's how you
beat the system. You know that one time?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Why would you pee on yourself?

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Well he had to go.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
I mean, but I'm saying, couldn't you aim if it's
a large enough space for you to crawl under and
be there for all that time? Why would you Why
wouldn't you aim away from yourself?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Wouldn't you think that that would make noise against like
the floor or and maybe they would be like, what's
going on over there? You guys got a leak under there?

Speaker 1 (04:06):
I think I think there would be ways to let it,
let it come out and it not make too much noise.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
So yeah, a little bit of a time.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Yeah, did you like that type of deal?

Speaker 4 (04:24):
You know?

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Like yeah, just just like you know, subtle, very subtle,
subtle uh exits.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
You know, but all on yourself.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
I don't know, man, hey listen, regardless, greatest MMA fighter
of all time.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
So I mean, I won't dispute you on that one.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
And you know, sometimes the stakes are high, you know,
and when the stakes are high, you gotta you know,
you gotta do things that you wouldn't normally do in
order to to kind of execute what you normally need
to execute.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
And by the way, if you want to execute a
smooth ride into work or wherever you gotta go, we
recommend ty iraq and we are broadcasting live from the

be good for you all right, So who do you
want to hear from regarding the Hassan Reddick situation?

Speaker 4 (05:23):
First?

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Do you want to hear from Aaron Rodgers or do
you want to hear from Robert Sala, your guy.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
That you see. But let's go with let's go with
b Let's go with the coach first.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
All right, So here was Robert Sala, the head coach
of the New York Jets, talking about the Hassan Reddick situation,
and you know, apparently not that much of a distraction
for anybody there in in New York or in florm
Park wherever the hell their training camp facility is. Robert
Sala doesn't seem all that stressed out.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
I'm not going to elaborate anymore than Joe did.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
You know?

Speaker 5 (05:56):
It is what it is. I'm going to focus on
the guys we're here. Now you can get coacusing those guys.
I mean, is it how do you avoid this game?

Speaker 4 (06:02):
A distraction? It's not, I promise you it's not.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
You know, it's a It's a great opportunity for the
guys who are here. You know, we we love our
d line, we love our death, especially at the DM position,
and guys like Will McDonald even Jermaine Johnson, Tac McKinley's
getting a lot of runs, so is Watson McGregor and
Clemens and Jalen. So we've got a lot of really
good depth at the defensive endposition, and they're all taking

(06:27):
advantage of the extra opportunities that they're getting because of it.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Is it as distraction, would you believe for people there
at camp, because he's trying to make it seem like
there's no real distraction.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
There's no I want to hear what Aaron Rodgers has
to say before our weigh in on.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
All Right, a ro take it away?

Speaker 6 (06:43):
What has always new things in the league that you know,
I've been around twenty years, I've seen a lot of stuff.
I think as players we always first try and side
with the player, because you know what it's like to
be a player. I actually have played against this on before.
I don't know him well. I've had a couple messages
with him. I believe when he got traded, obviously we'd
love him to be here. You know, we don't judge

(07:04):
him for trying to do what's best for him. I
think what's best for him is to be a Jet
because this is going to be a fun ride. You know,
he's got to make the best decision for him and
his family.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Being a good teammate.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Like, yeah, I think that was pretty even kill. I
think that was pretty right down the line. I think
that was well a well thought out response. I think
I think Robert Sala's response is more of an indictment.
I think it indicts Joe Douglas, I really do. I
think that's the GM's name, right, Joe dug Yeah, I

(07:36):
think that's yep. I think it indicts him because if
that's the case, if that is indeed what you really believe,
then allow that man to seek a trade. Allow him
to go after a trade. I said it before, do
exactly what it is that the San Francisco forty nine
ers are doing with Brandon Ayuk right now. Let him

(07:58):
test the market. The whales are dried up. I mean,
everybody who was going to do what they were going
to do, they've already done it. So to get a
late to get a late trade partner that would be
willing to put the money forward to get a deal
done that would probably make Hassan Reddick and his representation

(08:22):
happy is probably unavailable at the moment unless someone got
injured and there was more of a necessity to go
after him. But you come back and you say some
pretty inflammatory things. It's pretty debaggish the way he handled it.

(08:45):
So it doesn't fall in line with saying we're comfortable
and confident with the guys that we had, were comfortable
with the depth that we had, almost basically to say,
we don't need Hassan Reddick. It doesn't matter if he's
here or not. And and that's what your head coach
is saying. I just think that this, this whole entire
situation is messy as hell, no matter what side you

(09:08):
fall on. And the fact that it's gotten so messy,
why would Joe Douglas be this type of person in
the scenario?

Speaker 4 (09:17):
Release them to get a trade? Just release them to
get a trade.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Look, I think, and we talked about this yesterday. I
think if if everybody's on the clock as far as
you need to produce this year, then forget about what
the message is that it sends to the rest of
the guys that are wanting new deals or new deals
down the road. Just get the deal done. Like he's
gonna make you better, Like he's he's you know. Top
five in the league in sacks the last four or

(09:43):
five years.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Like he apparently that doesn't matter to h Robert Salo.
I mean, like apparently it doesn't matter to Joe Thomas either.
I do Douglas.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
I just I look at it and I go, man, like,
nobody should be thinking about twenty twenty five, like this
should be what's going to have us win games here
this year? Because and Rogers has said this, He's like, look,
if we don't produce, everybody's gone. He's all, I'm probably gone,
Robert Salah's gone, Joe Douglass is gone. So forget about
like what this does for next year. If you go
out and you win big games and god forbid, win

(10:14):
a Super Bowl, nobody's going to give a rip about
what the message was that you sent and whether you
set a precedent that other guys are gonna want deals
before there's come up and they're if they don't show
up to camp, you can get a deal. Just go
out and get the best players and feel the best
roster you can, so you can go try and pursue
some playoff wins and do something to where everybody's going

(10:34):
to be back for twenty twenty five but Mike Florio
made I thought a pretty good point when he talked
about this yesterday and he wrote about the fact that
Hassan Reddick has got a lot of leverage here, but
he could have had more had he not shown up
to take the physical. Because he did show up to
take the physical, he did talk to reporters, he did,

(10:57):
he went through all of that. If he had gotten traded,
he could have simply just told the Jets, like, listen,
I'm not showing up until I get a new deal.
Like that, that's where we're at. And so that makes
me wonder maybe the Jets really did get some sort
of an impression that he was going to at least
work with them on the idea of trying to get

(11:19):
a deal done or whatever the case may be, and
maybe he's heard something back before camp started and just decided, okay,
screw this, like I was under the impression we were
getting something else done, because you've heard the Jets side
of everything, but we haven't really heard us on Redic
side of everything, and something.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
I really think it matters.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Even if even if they were under their impression, even
if he left them with the impression that he was
willing to play this last year out of his deal.
If he changed, if he changed his mind, he changed
his mind, I mean, I mean, that's ultimately what it
comes down to is if he made that decision, no

(11:59):
matter when he made that decision, and now becomes a
discussion point. Now, is that the best business practice? Almost
like an entrapment type of sense scenario. Maybe so, maybe so.
But I mean if we were to reveal some of
the practices that some of these these franchises, what they
do to get things done, or how they may conduct

(12:22):
themselves or handle things, I mean, I wouldn't think that
everything would be all the way straightforward from them, and
I know that personally, so to me, I don't think
that that should play a major role. The idea of
it is is that you knew that there was the

(12:44):
conversations between him and the Eagles about getting an extension.
You knew that was the catalyst for them letting him
go to begin with. Like I mean, I don't think
that was a military secret. They didn't want to give
him the type of contract he was looking looking for
because they felt like they didn't need to. They trade
for them, they take them. You should have known coming

(13:07):
into it that he was gonna want another contract done.
The man had three seasons of double digit sacks, you
trade for him, what exactly do you think how many
guys in the league have had three back to back
consecutive years of double digit sacks as a d N,

(13:28):
as a rush in, as an edge.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
So you want to get a guy with tremendous value.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
But basically what you're saying is we want that value
based upon where it's at at its current current valuation,
not based upon a new deal with a new valuation
of what he brings to the table, which is well
within their rights to do. But if it's not working out,
why be a d bag about it? Just let them

(13:56):
let him figure out that there's no market and then
come back to the say, Okay, are you really going
to sit out and take these fines? It like basically
says to me, you don't think that he has enough
money to sit out and continue to take these fines.
So you're going to keep finding him until he gets
to the point of where he needs to get money,

(14:17):
and he's going to come back and he's going to
play like which I think really sucks.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
So he's got fifty sacks the last four seasons, So
it puts him, you know, top five when it comes
to that that time span that we mentioned as far
as you know, sack leaders in the NFL during that
four year run. And what I think is the most
impressive about it is the fact that it was in
three different locations, So it's not like he did it

(14:42):
in one system or one scheme with one team. He
was in Arizona produced, he went to Carolina for a year, produced,
he went to Philly for two years produced, Like just
like figure out a way, like throw in some more cash,
more guaranteed money, Like he's got no more guaranteed dollars
left on the deal, which is really his biggest issue

(15:02):
to get that guy on the field.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Like like that's what would make sense. But maybe sometimes
that's just not you know what the thought process is.
Regardless of what what the thought process is. Yeah, I
mean you need to you need to address it, you
need to address Let.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Me ask you this. Do you think that part of
this was that the Jets thought, well, yeah, yeah, we
know he wants a new deal, but who wouldn't want
to play for us? You know, like we've got Aaron Rodgers, Like,
I mean, it's possible you know what I mean. And
then Son Redicks like, sweet, I was just in Philly,
Like that's like a real super Bowl contender like that

(15:45):
that that that's a team that was actually just in
a super Bowl. I was in that super Bowl, like
I like I was with that team. Like I wonder
if a Son Redicks like this, that's how this works,
Like don't like maybe the Jets just thought that they
were a ten when in reality a Son Reddick looked
at him like a six and was like, listen, I'm

(16:06):
not agreeing to anything until I get the deal.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
I want the fact that he's hard heart lining at heart,
bottom lining it.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
The way that he is.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
It does say something about what he feels his value
is and what he feels the value of.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
You know, the New York Jets. I mean, I think
that's very clear.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Like he's not even willing to say, well, you know what,
this team is so good. I'm gonna just come play
and I'm gonna do well and it's going to lead
to me getting a new deal because I'm on the
last year of my deal.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
He's like, nah, I need this guaranteed money right now. Jack.
It's like, I'm not.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Taking no chances like this is it, this is what
it is, It's going to be what it's going to be.
It could say something to speak volumes like you're saying,
of how he views what the opportunity could possibly look
like being in New York.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Well, we'll keep you again. This is another one that
we're developing situation. We will keep you posted here if
anything happens throughout the course of the show, but it
probably won't. It is Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox
of the Year coming up next. Just a missed opportunity,
a real missed opportunity for somebody to stick it to
a large group of people in the world of football.

(17:17):
We'll talk about that for you right here next on FSR.

Speaker 2 (17:21):

Burrs on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast or wherever you

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Two pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio
Frankton Jonas Knox with you here coming up at about
twenty minutes from now from the Tirak dot com studios.
We are going to have ourselves.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
That's the real song.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
The Midweek Awards, the good, the bad, and the ugly,
those will be yours here again in about twenty minutes
from now here on FSR. You want to talk about
a blown opportunity, just a this is a damn shame
in the world of college football. Sharon Moore, the new
head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. He announced that, well, Sharon,

(18:56):
you just take it away.

Speaker 7 (18:57):
I just actually just talked to coach yes, and really
what went in a decision is we made that decision
like in Marcher, I think it was January February, actually
January February. So it's really to honor him of what
he's done Michigan for Michigan, I mean, came back for
nine years and it took us to where we are now.
So it was really to honor him. It's nothing besides that.
And yesterday he called me told me that didn't feel

(19:21):
that he could leave his team in true coach Harball
fashion and wanted to be in the fox hole of
his team and not want to make it look like
he was taking a deep long bow.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
So he's not.

Speaker 7 (19:31):
Going to make it for the game, but we're going
to have some of our guys that are there and
then Jack and Jackie Harpball are going to take his place.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
So super excited about that.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
So he was going to be the honorary captain for
Michigan when they took on Eddie Garcia's Fresno State Bulldogs
in a couple of weeks, and instead he's decided, Yeah, listen,
I don't want to be a distraction, you know, I
just want to stay focused on the Chargers. What a
blown opportunity with all these Nickel and Dimes sanctions at

(20:02):
the NCAAA handed out if Harbad just showed up there
to stick it to the NCAAA, to be an honorary
team captain after that four year show caused crap that
they rolled out last week. Blown opportunity for Michigan and
Jim Harbaugh to stick it to the NCAA. It's a
damn shame, a travesty, some would call it.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
I don't really know how him going or not going
does that in totality. Them winning it all last year
is what stuck it to anybody who may have a
hit an agenda against Michigan. That's what I would first say.
Then I secondly would say his legacy is solidified in

(20:49):
so many ways because he made a team into a
contender and a team that beat the arch nemesis of
the school. And so he will always be looked at
to me, if you ask me, by the Michigan fan base,
he'll always be looked at as a sympathetic figure, and

(21:12):
he will be admired and revered in the history and
the annals of time for what he was.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Able to accomplish. At Michigan.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
So the sticking will continue to be stuck year in
and year out, because no matter if Michigan continues to
be good and on the trajectory that they've been on
since he's taken over and changed, you know, how the
team looks, how they're viewed, how they perform, regardless of

(21:44):
if it's a high level of accomplishments or it's a
low level of accomplishment, it's always going to be referred
back to the Hardball era of time, and that's not
going to change. I think Harrorball's aware of that. I
think Michigan's aware of that, and anybody else that is

(22:04):
paying attention to what's going on with Michigan is aware
of that. And I don't think him showing up to
be an honorary captain diminishes that. I don't think it
does anything to perpetuate his legend. His legend is solidified
there and if he wanted to be I don't even
think it really comes down to it being petty for

(22:27):
him to do it. It could be considered that like
let me thumb my nose up in y'all's face, like
a look I came back anyway, like I don't. I
think he's so far removed from that that to him
coming back in any type of manner that may cause
any confusion, I really do. I really from everything I've
heard about the Harball family, and I got to know

(22:49):
the other one just because he.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
Was the special teams coach for Philly.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
When I was playing, and he was at all of
the Pro Bowls I was at because they kept getting
runner up coaching staff coached our teams, and I got
to know him pretty well, and super cool, dude, down
to earth.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
Just seemed like a players type of guy.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
And I think a lot of people that know his
brother know the Hardballs have always said they really genuinely
care about their players. And so if that's the truth
him caring about his players that he currently has in
the Chargers and his coaching staff, I'm certain he doesn't

(23:31):
want to take any time away from them because he's
already dealt with taking time away from his team by
being suspended and being under fire the way he was
last season. And to that point, I'm certain he doesn't
want to do anything that would bring unnecessary attention to
him that could be you know, some confusion or you know,

(23:52):
detracting or taking away from what the current Michigan program
and what the players and the coaching staff has going on.
Imagine if Fresno gave Michigan a hell of a game,
no offense, you know, Eddie, but just imagine if they
were to be able to give them a real game
and he was the honorary captain. There are going to

(24:14):
be comparisons to Sharon Moore taking over full time versus
being a part time head coach to this team. And
whether this happens or not, I think it's rightfully so
because they won it all last year. So to me,
I don't think that this is a selfish move by Harball.

(24:35):
I don't think that this is a hymn avoiding anything
type of move by Harball.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
I think he really looks at what he has.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Going on and he feels as though this is not
that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things,
and he's going to honor his duties and his responsibilities
and stay dialed in and focused in to what he
has going on with the Chargers.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Well, that's not the only unfortunate news from Michigan.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
Uh oh.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
And for the other unfortunate news, we now turn to
our alcohol insider lead to laugh for the latest Lee.

Speaker 8 (25:11):
Yes, that is correct. Michigan is now the sixteenth Big
Ten program to provide alcohol at the stadium pregame or
during the game. I should say one hour before kickoff
if I wanted to say pregame. But people are upset
that the cheapest beer you can find is twelve dollars
and twenty five cents for sixteen ounce domestic beer. They

(25:32):
will be providing five local craft beers and other macro
options which are probably gonna be much pricier. But being
from California, I'm actually, you know, that doesn't bother me whatsoever.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
They're only offering it in the pre game.

Speaker 8 (25:46):
No, one hour before kickoff, and then of course you
know they cut you off at fourth quarter, so it'll be.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
During the game.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
So twelve dollars for a sixteen ounce domestic that's a
deal in California. I mean, like, the problem is people
looking at it as if they're starting fresh from scratch.
You're gonna be lubed up by the time you walk
into that stadium. It's not like you're gonna be breaking
the bank to try and catch a buzz. You'll already
be time traveling by the time kickoff arrives, and you've

(26:14):
got an hour before the game as well too, if
you needed to go into the stadium right away to drink,
if you want to see all the warm ups and
all that. So you could theoretically rip what eight to
twelve beers in the parking lot, maybe a couple of
jello shots, walk into the game and for less than
thirty bucks, walk out and have to cover one eye

(26:34):
to be able to walk back to your car and
then realize, oh, I didn't even drive today, Like that's
It's not the worst thing in the world. Okay, but
for people that want to go in fresh not ideal.
You're gonna spend a little bit of money. Now, what
are the craft brews? What are those gonna cost? Do
they have any details on that? What's gonna happen there?

Speaker 8 (26:54):
Well, you know, just from my personal experience, what if
you're ready to do a domestic in calif to say,
at Sofi Stadium, it's going to be sixteen to eighteen
dollars for michelob Ultra.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
Wait is it really oh, for a Michelo Ultra for
the domestic?

Speaker 8 (27:09):
But if you wanted, yeah, if you wanted, uh crazy,
it's like twenty one dollars.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
That is crazy.

Speaker 8 (27:16):
You can't just give them a twenty. You got to
crack open the next five, you know, give him a
five as well.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
A Miklo Ultra sixteen dollars at so far?

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Yeah, that's crazy. That's crazy, isn't it. Yes?

Speaker 1 (27:32):
I mean that's a Michelo Ultra of any size, shape
or whatever. You could get me a Viking mug of
Michelob Ultra and it wouldn't be worth sixteen dollars.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
So is there no offense to Michelo Ultra if they
you know, if they want to jump on board with
the show here. But I just want to say, how
much is a twelve pack of Michelo Ultra lead when
you go to prestige liquors?

Speaker 8 (27:57):
I would never get a twelve pack of Michelo Bulture
if you get a tall can and it's about sorry
for offending you, Yeah, I fall guys. See, you can
get it. It's actually cheaper than a Miller Lite, which
I would normally just go Miller Lite.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
But if I'm twelve ninety nine for a twelve pack, yes, yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
That sounds about right.

Speaker 4 (28:16):
Twelve me, that's what it is.

Speaker 8 (28:18):
I want to say, three a tallie, So a sixteen
ounce is sixteen dollars is so far.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
For bottles of twelve fl ounces twelve forty eight.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
So lee when you get a when you get a
tall can. By the way, can you explain the terminology
for people out there that are maybe I don't know,
Jehovah's you know, if they're Jehovah's Witness or Mormon, or
if somebody out there is Amish and they're riding around
on the back of a horse and buggy to try
and find somebody with an electrical outlet because they've got
to like, you know, charge their iPhone like whatever it is.

(28:56):
Could you like explain what some of the terminology is
for people out there?

Speaker 8 (29:00):
Well, yes, a tolley typically stands for a twenty four ounce,
which is basically what two normal size beers a twelve
twelve ouncer, so you'd be two. The thing about Michelo Vulture, though,
is they offer one extra ounce. That's kind of their
brand is like the twenty five ounce cans, they put
that extra ounce in there. And I've done some extra research.
It's not sixteen dollars. I was mistaken. It's seventeen dollars

(29:23):
for twenty five ounce of michelobultra.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
Now it's so fi stadium. Now, what would a sixteen
ounce can be if you bought that? What's that called like?
If you were to buy that or to be called? Uh,
I got like a medium like a medium boy or
something like that, a slim reaper. If you just rattle

(29:46):
off all the terms, you know, please.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
What do you.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Like?

Speaker 8 (29:51):
They just come to me when I uh.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
All right, So let me ask you this, Yes, all right,
we'll put you on. Put you on the spot.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
If you want to go five ounce slim?

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Can it cost you three fifty?

Speaker 8 (30:07):
So if you if you go to the good spot,
you get for two seventy dollars.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
You're right, it's usually three fifty. So leeve for people
listening in ann Arbor right now on the iHeartRadio app
that are looking around, going, all right, we want to
figure out a way that we can drink, have a
couple of drinks at the game, a couple of beers,
but not spend more than thirty dollars. What would you
or we'll put it this way, forty dollars on the day,

(30:34):
including drinks in the stadium. What would you tell them
to do beforehand? And what would you tell them to
do inside the stadium if you had to give them advice?

Speaker 8 (30:42):
Well, beforehand, you're definitely going to grab yourself some you know,
just some just some domestic beer. You get you lubed
up before you enter the premises, and you got forty dollars?
How many after you get into the how many are
we talking about? Like, well, I would just go with
the three hal cans you know that come that come
prepackaged together.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
That's fine because that's what is that seventy five ounces
of beer?

Speaker 8 (31:06):
Seventy five ounces and you can kind of like split
one of them with a buddy because they're gonna get
warm quick.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
So that's like ten fifty yeah, yeah, well you got
yourself right with ten ten dollars and fifty cent.

Speaker 4 (31:17):
Yeah, if you went and purchased those.

Speaker 8 (31:20):
Yeah, you gotta crack one of them real quick though,
because they get warm fast. So you do that now,
deer split and then you split one of them.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
Now, beer is beer the only way you're going? And
is there any way that you would like recommend, like
you know, something in the parking lot or something to
walk in with, Like is there anything?

Speaker 4 (31:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (31:37):
I mean, if you're gonna be there on a day game.
I would definitely go tequila over whiskey. I mean, whiskey
is more of your night game kind of thing. If
you're in the if you're in the elements, then I'd say, hey,
whiskey's a good, good job.

Speaker 3 (31:49):
But or bourbon, but I would go tequila.

Speaker 8 (31:53):
So I would go Camerina or Ornito's or Casadoras because
you don't need to high end it because you're going
to be putting into the plastic flask. Because this is
because that's that's the goal here. So you're not gonna
you don't need to go high end, and you're going
to ruin the tequila anyway by putting in the plastic,
So go with your cheap tequila.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
That's a that's another ten dollars right there. So now
you can got twenty.

Speaker 8 (32:18):
If you're doing it right and you find the good spot,
you're on your twenty bucks and then you got it,
and then you can get a toll can.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
Once you get in.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
The certain smells attract, like buzzards or rats and stuff
like that. Yes, I'm starting to believe that the open
containers and leads vehicles trafted the bombs.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
That ran up on it.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
There's no open containers in the in the car.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
I don't believe that even if there aren't open containers.
The good job, the smell that comes from his vehicle,
it attracts bumbs and that's why they that's why they
went to that car.

Speaker 8 (32:55):
Did you Jonas, did you see that picture I set
you during your time off? By the way, I found
one of those uh liquor stores that have the prepackaged
goodie bags.

Speaker 3 (33:03):
Yeah, Lee found a goodie bag.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 8 (33:06):
It had a buzz ball, it had a seven up,
It had two different kinds of alcohol. It had lemon
absolute vodka, it had uh some kind of rum concoction.
Hey leek, and a jolly rancher. That jolly rancher in
the bus.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
A Michigan fan pulls you aside and says, hey, man,
I want to have one beer at the stadium. It's
what twelve twenty five, that's what they're crosting. All right,
I got twenty bucks on me, which means they got
seven to seventy five left over. How can I get
to where I need to get to at the liquor
store before I go into the stadium. What do you
say to that that's okay.

Speaker 8 (33:40):
So yesterday that is ready for it. On my way
to the movie theater. I got out of there for
under five dollars.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
And what did you do? I got?

Speaker 8 (33:54):
I got a tall Michelo Vultra and uh and a shot.
Mini bottles yeah, mini bottle. I got out of there
front or five bucks now if you want to, and
they're many, so if you want to know that, if
you want, if you want, yeah, you're throwing a premium
another premium shot in there you can get, or a buzzball.

(34:18):
The red has turned me onto the buzzballs. They're awesome. Geez,
you just gotta.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
Puts turned you onto the buzzballs.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Huh, Okay, it might have been a mistake. He's been
kind of addicted, to be honest.

Speaker 8 (34:29):
Yeah, you know what, they're actually kind of pricey.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
I don't like it.

Speaker 9 (34:35):
They're not pricey. If you go to a good place,
you a get him for three seventy nine. They're fifteen
percent alcohol and they really get the job done. And
the thing about your beersly is there's too much liquid.
Once you get inside, you already have to pee three times.
And I don't like being in the bathroom that often.
So The buzzballs are nice because there's only what six
ounces of liquid in them?

Speaker 3 (34:55):
Oh man, that's about right. Yeah, so it's a quick
shot straight to the head.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
I tell you what, if I wanted to get one
of these buzzballs, make sure I use my rapid radio
right now.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
You know why because well.

There are some good things that happen, and there's some
bad and then there's some downright ugly things, good, bad
and lovely.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
All Right, lead the lap who's got what?

Speaker 8 (37:05):
Well, as we do each and every Wednesday, we started
with the good, and this week is a really good
week because LeVar, you're delivering the good.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
Well, thank you, thank you. Obviously.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
I think with the Olympics just wrapping up the way
we saw the USA team win in dramatic fashion in
the last two games, I thought that was good. I
thought it was super good. I thought it was good
for basketball. I thought it was good for USA sports.
I thought it was good from an entertainment perspective. They

(37:37):
delivered some very very exhilarating moments, exciting moments. Obviously, Steph
Curry stole the show in so many ways. So I
think that's a safe pick, a safe bet to go
with good this week.

Speaker 8 (37:53):
Well, you can't have good without the bad. Jonas what
was bad this week?

Speaker 3 (37:57):
Well, I was off last week. And one thing I
noticed that seems to be very prevalent still for some
reason is digital menus. It bothers me like and I
talked about this a little bit on Saturday on the JKS.
But I'm old school. I like to have a physical menu.

(38:19):
I want to be able to see it, you know,
move one page to the next, you know, flip it
over if it's just a singular page menu like whatever
the case may be. I don't have to continue to
scan my phone on some code on a table and
then open up a menu and then go from there like.
It's kind of a pain in the ass. I can
understand why people went that direction during COVID. It just

(38:40):
feels like a violation of my privacy when all I
want to do is be able to look at a
menu old school and be able to order my food.
That's my bad for them. It's happening way too much.

Speaker 8 (38:50):
I'm there with you. You have many tabs I have open
on my phone of digital menus, and you know me,
I like killing trees.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
I have so many like hard copies.

Speaker 8 (38:58):
Guys, good, bad, from bad to worse. What's ugly this week?
I'll tell you freaking bums.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
Your freaking hold on a second, Loraina, Do you have
an ugly you'd like to throw it as well, too? No,
just Lee's gas, that's all.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
Is that count?

Speaker 4 (39:16):
Yes, that's pretty ugly?

Speaker 3 (39:19):
What is wrong with you? Man?

Speaker 8 (39:20):
I had to stay around for the segment.

Speaker 4 (39:21):
I wanted to go to the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
I couldn't high.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
That is horribly you are foul.

Speaker 8 (39:28):
I gotta go, gotta go.
