you were saying, oh, you were saying, so.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
I'm in an observation watching the London game and I'm
not sure if you guys noticed this as well, but
the production and the director, I'm not sure who's doing
the game for NFL network, but they did a good
job of really, you know, kind of covering all the
fans and the dancing and the songs. And I think

(02:06):
at one point they were doing mister Bright's side, and
they had mentioned that coming out of the commercial, and
then they were doing I think Sweet Caroline. There's all
these different songs they were doing, and I thought to myself,
I say.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
What's happening here. You know, you've got these NFL fans.

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Some are dressed in jets and Broncos gears, other just
random NFL stuff.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
They're like Rob Lower in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Hat right, right.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
And I realized that in all these international games they
just play music the whole time, Like that's what happens
when you come to America. We play all our hits
and we stand up and we drink a beer and
we just you know, dance and laugh with each other.
Like that's what it's like. It's like now, it's something

(02:51):
like that at all. Actually you're passionately rooting for your team,
and meanwhile it's just.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Such a different feel. That's the look of it it.

Speaker 6 (03:00):
You know, when we went back with the Denver Broncos
and played the forty nine ers. This is way back
in twenty ten. Like I recall something similar too, where
it was like more about the experience than the actual
game or product itself. And it just it triggered me
when you were saying, well, if the NFL really wants

(03:22):
to like sell you know, London or Europeans on the
idea of American football, like putting the Jets over there
probably isn't a good idea.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I think they're trying to sell something else.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
They're just trying to sell an experience, Like I don't
even know if they care so much how bad the.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Product is correct, because they don't know how bad the
product is exactly.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, Like they're used to soccer. They're like, eh, it
was Neil new No one's scored all have you.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Have you gone to an NFL game?

Speaker 5 (03:49):
You know that's over there, that's true that that probably
isn't No matter what we give them, it's still more
exciting than soccer.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Have you played I played in one, so like I remember,
like the fan.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
They cheer out everything.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah, they don't know what the cheer for.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
They don't like there weren't sides like they they you know,
you create like, okay, here's the home team this. First
of all, there's jerseys from every team. Like you see people,
it's like they're wearing jerseys from every team. And then
when there's chairing taking places, it's like if there's a
big play, past pass, downfield, big run, a sack, whatever, right,

(04:27):
the whole stadium chairs, no matter who's on offense and
who's on defense. No, they know what they like the play.
They don't it's not the team they like the big play.
They don't even know who the player is. It's a
it's a big play to X X receiver, like they

(04:55):
could use their hands, so you get an interception. The
next play they chair.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
There's like there's like a flag and they're like personal
foul and they starting.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Sposed to be doing.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
No, it's like they they basically put on like the
the best bar Hits Spotify playlist and that's what they're
playing in the stadium and they just keep, you know,
dancing and showing and say it's just it's to me.
When I watch, I get huh, I guess this is
what we're selling.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
You know.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
Now maybe that differs because I've only been to London.
You know, there's a Berlin game coming up this Madrid.
We obviously started the season.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Madrid. I did Barcelona. I did a Barcelona game as
a spectator. Man, I told you how I dislocated my
my pinky because I went into the Uh imagine how
you did that? Well, because I.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Was walking on the beach wronghole.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
No, it's interesting that you make that reference because well
as I.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
Was well, hold on, hold on. That could go a
lot of different ways. I mean, picking your nose, we
could have been like my hair something.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Who knows.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
I didn't judge you. I didn't judge you. Is today
red dress to day? Why are so many people on
news wearing red dresses? No, what happened was I was there.
I've told this story before. We were there as guest
of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and this was when Tim Worley

(06:28):
and Meryll Hodge. Merrill Hodge, I guess I got to
the bottom of this years many, many years later, I
had an opportunity to interview him. Jonas just used his
blow blow dark gun on. Yeah, he used the blow
dark on the red dresses. Yeah, he's he can't handle himself,
Meryl Hodge. So he wore he wore a leopard print

(06:51):
speedo on on the beach when we all went to
take a trip to the beach. It was funny as hell,
and I asked about it. He said, I guess it
was a bet. Some they bet him that he and
gave him the speed of and said you won't wear
these on the beach, and he wore them. But that
was my first introduction to topless beaches. And I was walking.

(07:15):
We were walking and I was like, wait, whoa wait
a minute, And I'm like fourteen years old, right, so
I'm I'm looking and there are some I'll just say
even at fourteen years old, while you're still developing as
a person, you realize that there are some really really
good looking people in this world, and a lot of

(07:36):
them are in Barcelona, Spain. And so I saw this
one in particular, and I mean it was like a
sketch out of a sketch book where it was like
if you could draw the perfect way of looking while
you're laying there topless getting sun and with that look,

(07:57):
that Barcelonian look. That that's what I saw. And in
my mind I thought she was looking at me. So
I was like, yeah, she's checking me out. Let me
just walk into this water. I felt the water get
to my knees and I was like, okay, I'm just
gonna dive in real gracefully, and then I'm gonna come
up and write Why did I go from a deep

(08:22):
part of the sand and dove into a shallow part
of the sand. So I dive into the Black Sea.
But the sand was right there as soon as I
hit the water, Like upon hitting the water, it wasn't
like knee deep, it was like right there. Hit it
came about of water. Pinky was dislocated. People asked me,
how'd you dislocate. Why does your pinky look like that? Oh,

(08:44):
that's I like to say.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
It's not a football injury.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
That what started? What started? The finger? Looking like Brian Baldinger,
he's got like well, I eventually started messing it up,
hitting guys, but I can't say the origin of jacking
that pinky up. Okay, from playing football, you're that warned up.
It was like it was a letter of love. Wow,
I thought I was in love and I dislocated my

(09:09):
pinky in the Black Sea, so.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
It was the wrong hole.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Yeah, I mean, that's what I'm saying. I didn't I
didn't tell you. No, I didn't tell you. Now, I
created a hole with my pinky in the Black Sea.
And that's not even figuratively speaking. I literally dislocated my pinky,
creating a hole in the Black Sea.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Listen, I'm I'm totally buying into the conspiracy theory. It's
just a sales pitch for the experience, that's correct. I
care about the bag of craft that they're getting.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
No, why would you send those again, It's a simple question,
and listen, why would you send those teams? And other
than Leeds United?

Speaker 5 (09:48):
It's more exciting than any soccer game that they've probably seen.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Over there in a long time. You know, That's what
I would say. The presentation of it is different. It
looks different, right, Like, so they showed some guy, some
brit in the crowd.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
He's weren't a justin Fields Jersey Like, It's like, dude,
why don't you just why don't you just hold up
a side and says they gave this to me.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
When I walk correct? Correct, Like what are we doing here?

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Correct? It's so planted.

Speaker 6 (10:16):
But I wonder if they price gouge them overseas as
much as they do our fans for Jerseys.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
I doubt it.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
I'm just saying, like.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
But their their money stronger than there, so you just
never know. Maybe, I mean, maybe they.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
See I don't know, is that still the case?

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (10:30):
Sure, it is a want of fluctuations, one of wild
fluctuations in there. One observation by the way of last
night's game, and I know Detroit lost.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
I kind of love everything about the culture of that team.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
They are I mean, not the not the fight at
the end, but to what you just said, LeVar, like,
I feel like they walk into stadiums and on the
road and they're just a group of guys looking to
and they're trying to win a football game.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
But they'll fight you if they have to. Oh you know,
Oh yeah, I love it. They got fight mentality like there.
I mean, they're just like their coach. You are an
extension of your coach. And Campbell wants to fight. He
did his his his his halftime entery. You know what.

(11:18):
I love it though.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
He's like, we got to make a play man that three.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Keep telling them three twice away, just gotta go punch
them in the mouth. And his players are the same way.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
These cats is out there, They out there playing for
keeps because they're in their head coaches. In his mind,
he's playing for keeps. So if you could convince your guys,
some grown ass men to be just like you and
you want some fight time, fight club type stuff, you
got a whole bunch of Tyler Durton's out there, like
you get with it, get on my level.

Speaker 5 (11:57):
You want to hear Brian Branch afterwards he was the
guy who punched or I guess you want to say
punch whatever you want to call it to Juju Smith slapper.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
After the game was over.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
I got it pretty good. And then they you know,
kind of.

Speaker 5 (12:11):
Drug him to the ground while he was engaged with
somebody else and ripped off Juju Smith Schuster's helmet.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Here was the explanation. He was getting tossed around.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
Here's the explanation from Brian Branch afterwards.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
I did, but I'm te people doing stuff into the
play and reps on catching like him trying to pulling
me out there.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
I should have never did it, will choppish.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
What happened between the play what he's referring to, I
got luck in the back to legally it was running
to rep the rep and do anything and just stuff
like that.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
And that's I could have got hurt off of that.
But they still I still shouldn't have done that. So
and then he stepped over him by he did get
cleaned up. Not only did he clip him, he got
cleaned up. Listen, y'all can say what ch'all want that
Kelsey ball was not a catch. There were a couple

(13:06):
other questionable calls. It really does seem to be a
bias in terms of how the chiefs are called. No penalties,
no turnovers last night, that's clean football. I really think
there is a true bias in how the games are
called for them. But didn't we.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Always say that with New England too during their heyday?

Speaker 1 (13:28):
I mean did we. I don't know that I've ever
paid this much attention to referees. Oh they always got
the call, They always got them.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Yeah, that's how everyone felt.

Speaker 6 (13:37):
Like every every pass through to Gronk where he awkwardly
fell and there's some contact, it was a pi you know,
Tom would be calling for you know late hits rough
in the past.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
I mean just yeah, it was always something.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
They get calls man and my boy Pacheco, he runs hard,
telling he's a difference He's a difference maker. Runs so
hard he's a difference maker for him.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
I don't know if he goes anywhere. Sometimes he doesn't.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
He doesn't go somewhere all the time, but it makes
a difference for what they got.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Just churning, just churning everyone else. He's like still in
the same spot.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Everyone out there listening. This is sarcasm from Brady and Jonas.
By the way, I am.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
I'm being I'm being for really, it looks like he's.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
Moving and then you're like, he'll be moving, man, those
dudes are catching up to him.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Hey man, he's doing high knees.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Rolling fast fans and then they'd be like, put Checko
on a gain of one.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
I don't hit it, I would you. I mean, it's funny,
but I'm just saying that one yard, that one yard
is paying for that defense. Bro, I'm gonna tell you,
because he's the lower, he's like skataboo, Bro. He'd be
looking for that, he be looking for that contact he does.
I did admire Brian Branch pulling the bullying card. That

(15:02):
was nice. It was very well done, trying to lighten
the fine and he apologized. But the dude did clip
him and he did step over him.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
It's exactly what Juju Smith Schuster did to was it,
Vontes Berfect?

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Yes, he did.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
It's the exact same thing where he and stepped over
him and tried to look afterwards just like I don't
know what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Like that to me, when you when you hit a
defensive player and you knock him down, that's one thing.
Like that's to a defender, that's like it's disrespectful. Look,
they was taught in brands right there too.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
Can I ask your question though, Okay, is it allowed
for a defensive player to hit an offensive player and
step over them though.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Yes, like yes, they should not be offended because we're
a defender. Our motivation is to to you know, kind
of intimidate. So they don't have the right. They don't.
They have no right. An offensive player has no right
to disrespect the defender in that way, in that manner,

(16:09):
Like it's enough that you knocked knocked us down, that's
the disrespect. Like imagine Chad Johnson knocked Ray Lewis down,
versus like versus vice versa, right, Like imagine that, like, Okay,
he knocked Chad Johnson down, that's what you expect. But
if Chad knocked Ray down, that's like, dang, he knocked

(16:33):
Ray down. That's good enough. Stop right there. But you're
gonna step over it. I don't think so. You're gonna
get jabbed up, body slammed, rushed. It's a whole lot
of things that because we're volatile people. Offensive people, they're
like more sophisticated, they're they're more they're considered to be.

(16:53):
I ain't gonna say more intelligent, but I mean there,
you know, there's that whole idea.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
There's way more plays an offensive defensive places.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
It's very true. But we could learn those plays.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
It's not it's not like we man if y'all bust.

Speaker 6 (17:07):
If y'all bust, like one of the eight coverages you
can play. All right, you're all gonna learned all the
play as in an offensive playbook.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
All Right, you got dudes like it's man, the man,
see that guy take him? How do you get wide open?
He's he ran outside that.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
It doesn't matter, man, man, there is some truth, there
is some truth in what you're saying, but that's just
based up.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
This is your rush lane. You run here.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Yeah, you're right, this is your run gap.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Don't let them run in this gap.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
And they still do it, and they still do it.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Still, you have inside leverage.

Speaker 6 (17:47):
Whatever you do, don't let the receiver break inside leverage.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
And they broke, and the coaches like, what the hell's
wrong with you? Yeah? One job.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Yeah, but we can learn. We could learn much. We
could learn y'all's plays. I mean, I think.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Maybe you'll be playing slow as hell if that was
the case. I just think that, all right, here's what
you got. You got a middle read. If it's a
middlefield open, you're gonna go ahead and take it. You're
gonna bend.

Speaker 6 (18:11):
You go to work on the work on the leverage
of the safe. You're gonna bend towards the middlefield. Now,
if you're gonna midfield close, here's what you need to do.
I need to stem inside, push up to ten to twelve.
You're gonna break flat across on a basic okay, and.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
You guys don't do and your guys don't do what
they're supposed to do either. Like, let's be cleared. The
exist on both sides of the ball.

Speaker 6 (18:33):
And these exist, but there is more often than not,
I don't know that there's as many emms. Sometimes it's
more of like you know, probably just getting beat or
not being able to get open type thing.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Oh, because we're better athletes than y'all. You said that,
not me, But yeah, I mean we are better athletes
than y'all. Can I make a stake? Can I make
a statement here? I had a choice. I didn't want
to playoff there. I think it's gonna be Uh, this
is gonna sound kind of dumb, but but you're okay
with it. Yeah, I'm just gonna roll with it.

Speaker 6 (19:10):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
Patrick Mahomes is back. Oh yeah, this is this is
the best he's looked in a while to where you're
no longer saying, man, it's the defense carrying this team,
and what's going on on offense, Like Patrick Mahomes looks
like the Patrick.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Had a good game last night. He's had a couple
of good games this year. He's had had a good
game last night.

Speaker 6 (19:34):
No, to Jonas's point, the offense in total looks different,
like they're able to.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
I think, find bigger chunk plays, find other plays.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
It just it feels like they've got some of their
mojo Backsha three forty receivers and they're healthy.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Yeah, they're finally they're playing.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
All I'm gonna say is he had a good game
last night. You want to crown the then crown them.
But we know who Patrick Mahomes is. He's got to
do more and he's got to do more this season.
We know who he is. You mean, he's back.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
By the way, we're Chiefs Lions. Part of our picks
they were, Yeah, they were.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
By the way.

Speaker 6 (20:20):
Now that now that they're there, all right, you want
to go ahead and just announce it, Jonas, So far
this week four and zero.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Now tonight's a big one.

Speaker 6 (20:31):
On Monday Football, because Jonas has the Bears plus four
and a half, which every good Bears fan would would
do the same, which Jonas is and Lavarn and myself
are on the other side of this one.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
So it will ultimately be.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
This what are we?

Speaker 3 (20:44):
What are we?

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Right now? Oh?

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Buddy, you're one and five? All right, you've had a
rough one?

Speaker 1 (20:49):
Can I can I make a request buddy? All right now?

Speaker 5 (20:54):
Now, Brie, you are the producer, so I need you
can either allow this or not allow this if Brady
and LeVar are willing to sign off on it.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
All right?

Speaker 5 (21:03):
So later on tonight we do have double barrel action
in the NFL on Monday Night footballs and the Falcons.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Isn't it too late in the season have two?

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Now are we doing?

Speaker 5 (21:16):
I mean I think this is the last year they're
going to do it too. I like it really, Yeah,
they're not going to do two games.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
But they play them like they're staggered, Like one is
like halfway in and then the other one starts. Yeah,
So like it creates a dilemma of do I leave
the one I was already watching to watch this next
one or keep switching back and forth. I don't like that.

Speaker 6 (21:36):
I like would you rather have a game Monday night
and Tuesday night or to on Monday?

Speaker 5 (21:44):
Oh, Monday and Tuesday. Come on, all apologies to the
mac when when that comes back?

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Which is what?

Speaker 6 (21:52):
Well, by the way, I can watch both, I mean
now with YouTube TV. Yeah you know, I've got that
multi multiview, so I'm watching both at the same time.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
What's better than that?

Speaker 5 (22:01):
Yeah, it's pretty sweet. So here's my request. When we
were when we were making these picks, the Bears were
a four and a half point underdog. All right, the
line has since moved to five and a half? Can
I get that extra point? No?

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Do you bet it?

Speaker 3 (22:23):
When you bet it? Like, come on, hold on, hold on?
Why are you asking for that now? Do you know?

Speaker 6 (22:31):
Do you know how many other lines changed in the
course of the week when we picked?

Speaker 5 (22:36):
Yeah, but I feel like this one for a chance
to go perfect. You know, it feels like if you
guys are willing to get extra credit points for money
line picks, I think that's your credit points.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
No, we just took more of a risk that has
nothing to do You're getting a point that changed when
you may your reasoning was your reasoning when you made
the pick? Why you want to change it.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
Don't look them at that number.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
Yeah, eat it so you took it at don't allow it.
But I just for the record, if the Bears lose
by five, uh, that you lost. Yeah, and that's unfortunate
you lost because you guys were you guys were not
kind and wouldn't allow me that grace just.

Speaker 6 (23:15):
Because you're being a little whiny bitch right now. I
actually I'm going to go as far as saying I
hope you lose. Now, I hope you go four.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
And his record look good on on the challenge too.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Well, that was why he sent the photo.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
It wasn't that was me.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
That was you said that.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
You think I watched that show me. By the way,
your show goes off quick too, I was like, oh,
just went right into news. Yeah, they time it, yeah,
specifically out of there. So you guys are just like
a little stop gap. Take whatever help we can get.
You know, By the way, everyone.

Speaker 8 (24:22):
I'm the producer of the Paula and Tony Fusco Show.
Usually in these promos they asked you to listen to
the show. I'm here to ask you please, don't listen
to the show. The hosts are two absolute morons who
have the dumbest takes on sports imaginable. Don't listen to
the show so it can get camps.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
What the hell studio get him?

Speaker 3 (24:42):
Ignore that fool.

Speaker 9 (24:43):
Listen to the Tony Fusco Show on the iHeartRadio app

Speaker 1 (24:48):
He's still moving. Two Pros and a Cup of Joe.

Speaker 5 (24:52):
Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with
the air.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Yeah no, we got an issue. We got an issue.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Oh let's see issue.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
Because you're a hypocrite, dude, You sit here and you
lay based LeVar and I for making money line picks.
And then what do you do when your parlay is Jonas,
you're eight eight game parlays that you like to toss
around when you get close to maybe winning one. What
do you like to do, Jonas? Are you betting spreads
or you bet money lines?

Speaker 1 (25:22):
There's one or two spreads in there.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
No, it's like five money lines hypocrite.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Yeah, but if I'm parlaying eight.

Speaker 5 (25:30):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's way more impressive.

Speaker 6 (25:33):
Yeah, it's really not. Now when you're betting on heavy favorites.
What if your money lines was minus four ninety?

Speaker 5 (25:42):
So what I'm not taking into the air? This is
part of an eight leg parlay I'm working.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
Well, I'm exposing you right now so our listeners know
what a fraud you are when it comes to R picks.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
Then you never going money line picks?

Speaker 1 (25:57):
This is rude.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
You shuck completely.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
I mean, do you're not supposed to be calling out
your teammates like that? That's not fair, ridiculous. Well then
why do you do it?

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Well, I'm me me, Well then what why does ta
do it?

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (26:12):
You guys should play for the Dolphins. Here, go ahead,
tua like you join the team.

Speaker 7 (26:16):
I think it starts with the leadership in helping articulate
that for the guys, and then what we're expecting out
of the guys, right, we're expecting this?

Speaker 1 (26:25):
Are we getting that? Are we not getting that?

Speaker 7 (26:27):
We have guys showing up to player only meetings late,
guys not showing up to player only meeting Like, There's
a lot that goes into that.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Do we have to make this mandatory? Do we not
have to make this mandatory?

Speaker 7 (26:39):
So so it's it's a lot of it's a lot
of things of that nature that we got to get
cleaned up. And it starts with the little things like that.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
Thank god, it's nice out let's and out personal private
interactions in business, dahsh.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Can we be real about something though?

Speaker 5 (27:03):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (27:04):
Player only meetings, whether attended or not, and the fact
that you got to have them, there's already a bigger
problem like that is.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
Not plan a for any season. When you start opting
to player only meetings.

Speaker 6 (27:18):
Basically, the craps hit the fan and your season's gone.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
Off the rails.

Speaker 6 (27:24):
There's not much faith or confidence in the coach or
coaching staff, and you feel like you need to take
it into your own hands to address things.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Now, people might push back on this and then might say, hey,
you know, sometimes it's just about you know, it's what's
what's happening to the lock. Let me tell you something.

Speaker 6 (27:40):
I was a part of some teams that player meetings,
and there was usually usually a mole, a guy who
was in that meeting, who was right upstairs, and he
was gonna tell them everything that was going on. So
it's it's all window dressing, it's all it's it's it's
whatever said in the player only meanings.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Trust me.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
He gets back to the coaching staff in front office.
There's always a mole somewhere in there. I remember when
that happened.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
When we.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
Was doing it, Bruce, Bruce says something, Bruce Smith says
something Marty. Marty decided he was going to address it
in the team meeting. He couldn't handle this, so he
was like, Bruce, stand up. Bruce stands up. He puts

(28:34):
his palms up, like why, Like what what's going on?
Marty's like, Bruce, I need to understand. What are you
talking about? Spreading this five oh thing.

Speaker 9 (28:55):
We all looked at each other like, oh damn what
Bruce Bruce was the five oh No. But Bruce was
was calling out who the five os were. He was
calling them out.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Hey. Marty was like, Hey, you're not gonna be calling
out my my, my, you know my my guys, Like,
what exactly do you mean by the five oh, Bruce?
Do you guys know who the people are that go
back to the coaches? Not every time, in this particular situation,
we did. And it was an old lineman. It was Zott.

(29:40):
I remember, I don't care I'd be calling I don't get.
It's so old it doesn't even matter. Zoch went to
Penn State too, by the way, but I believe he
was with with Marty in Kansas City. He's like a center. Yeah,
I forget. Zot's first name Dave. Does that sound right?

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Sounds right?

Speaker 1 (29:58):
He was one of them.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
If I was a and someone's like your last name, Zot.

Speaker 8 (30:03):
Was?

Speaker 5 (30:04):
He number sixty seven in Kansas City.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Good dude, though, good dude. He just he really loved
Marty and would take the information from the locker room
and from the players only meetings. I believe there was
one at least one other, but that name was not disclosed.
At least I did not get a hold of it,
but we were definitely being made away. It was close

(30:31):
seventy nine. We were being made aware of the fact
that there was somebody that was snitching on what was
being said in the locker room, and apparently it had
gotten back to Marty that not only that you know,
you're being warned not to talk around these people, but
the things that were being discussed, because you know, we

(30:52):
started off oh and five that year, we start off
oh and five, we have a player's meeting Da da
da da da d this, that and the other, and
is like, basically like everybody needs to shut the up
because this is going to go whatever you're airing out
like and just so people understand the I guess what
could happen when you're in these players only meetings. Player

(31:14):
only meetings are guys really airing out their grievances. It's
supposed to be a safe place you could say what
you want to say. So some of the guys be like, man,
the coaching sucks, Like this coach in particular, da da
da This coach da da da, he stinks da da da.
So depending on where you're at on the roster and
what your you know, what your contract is these are

(31:36):
the types of things that if it gets back to
a coach, they can release you. That's why it's like
kind of like for some guys, it's a very important deal.
Like if you go into this player meeting and you
speak to your mind and it gets back to the coaches,
there's a possibility they could grudge against you. How do
you trust those guys after that? Well? I mean it's hey, bro,

(32:00):
It's like when you're in these types of environments, it's like,
what do you do with it that you got this
guy over here, he's trying to look out, but it
seems like he's not being a company guy, which maybe
he isn't a company guy. I don't know, but it
creates some weird dynamics. Man Like players only meetings. I
feel like, I feel like if you have a player's

(32:23):
only meeting, that player's only meeting has to have like,
you know, like a level of integrity that's connected to it.
But you also got to be aware of the fact
that this is your workplace, so you can't be sitting
there talking crazy about your coaches or ownership is is
to whatever it is that you You just got to
keep it like above board man, and see what the

(32:45):
solution could possibly be. But like like you said, if
you're already, if you're having players only meetings, it's cause
y'all stink.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
The Jets had one last week because they stink. Aaron
Glenn's five games in at the time.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
Already sign they stink. How do you but how do
y'all feel about the rainbows at the back of the
end zones?

Speaker 9 (33:04):
Well?

Speaker 5 (33:06):
On the on the TUA subject, how do you think
that lands with guys in the locker room when he's
going to the media afterwards and you know.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Are no different than the dude snitching to the coaches,
that's well kind of a bad look.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Maybe maybe some of the thought behind that is, you know,
it's the only way to you know, connect to those
dudes who aren't going to players only meetings, Like two
is there.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
He's went on some of those guys to get there.
They never show up. Might be the only way he
can't even talk to some of those guys.

Speaker 6 (33:37):
So I don't know, I don't read too much into it,
only because I feel like coaches do it, players do it,
kind of call each other out through the media, so
it's kind of become more common ground. I guess, but
I look, they've got bigger problems than to a calling
them mount a press conference. It's just not a good
football team right now.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Yeah. I think that's the bottom line of it all
is if that becomes the most interesting storyline that you
have coming out of games, then that tell you all
you need to know about this team. They stink.

Speaker 5 (34:09):
I think we're at the point now to where Mike
McDaniel middle of the game pull out a vape the
size of a backpack and say I'm out and just
light like I mean, let it, let it.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
Like Chimney smoke.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Yeah, why not? That might put him to sleep though.

Speaker 6 (34:27):
Train By the way, if you guys are losing sleep
every time someone moves into bed mattress from sleep experts,
they'll match you with the temper Lux adapt Listen to this.
It's temper material absorbs motion for an undisturbed rest. There's
a match from today and upgrade to temper pedick. They
make sleep easy, unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
It is.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Career sleep. They better find a match a good comfortable
mattress tell you that.

Speaker 5 (34:54):
Yeah, lots to uh, lots to chew on for sure,
and we're gonna have another F S R.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
I R with you right here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
Two pros and a cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox of the air. Coming
off top of next hour, somebody somebody with a very
honest assessment as to what they can expect from their
opponent next week in the NFL. We'll get into that
for you right here on FSR. You know, we are

(35:23):
going to get to a very very entertaining segment We've
got on this show, which are filled with all sorts
of stories in Shenanigans, it's usually always very spicy.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Yeah, I'd like to make it a little bit more spicy.
But I had a little bit of that original Louisiana
OSAs is a perfect balance of peppers, vinegar and salt.
You could put that on wings, nachos, and burgers or
whatever it is that you'd be eating. If you would like,
you a little bit of spice, a little bit of kick,
hit every tailgate food and hit it with that bold,

(35:56):
handcrafted flavor of the original Louisiana hot sauce. That's Louisy
and Hot values them.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
After your sports week at happens, so it's time to
get the f s R IR report.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
All right, the way we go. We used the first
segment to talk about my ir SO no travel issues
that it. Yeah, well I will say this. I I
sneezed on the plane yesterday and it was such a very,
very hard and valance sneeze that I snorted, Oh, sneezed

(36:41):
and farted and it was it was a blower like
it was, no denying it I had. I had a
couple different weird moments with flagellations this weekend. I was,
I was, I went, I forget exactly where I was. Oh,

(37:04):
I walked right out. I walked right outside of a
suite to like, you know, let it go to beat.
Oh no, I thought it sounded like that too. I
was in like a safe I thought I was in
a safe place and totally let it rip. And before

(37:30):
I was finished, I turned around and a person was
walking up upon me, totally hurt. The witness. The whole
dang thing was eye contact. Like I did not make
eye contact because I knew I was already caught.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
Male or female.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
One was male, one was female. The plane was the
male that was right next to me, and I clearly
like he he I saw him look at me through
my peripheral and and I did not look back. I
did not oblige him to look at him. And then
the lady like where I was at away from the suite,
that caught me. I just walked away, you know, I

(38:12):
just walked away and just was like, you know, they
got a story to tell. Maybe people believe him, maybe
they won't. I have deniability opportunities there, but I've just
told it on radio now, so maybe that's gone.

Speaker 6 (38:24):
The interesting thing is, like, I feel like you're the
type that would draw more attention to it.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Yeah, you'd be.

Speaker 6 (38:29):
Like, I've got oh I did gassed me last week Thursday.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Yeah, I've been gassy. Like ever since I've been on
his healthy kick, I've been like gassy. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (38:43):
Before he left the studio, I was closing up. Before
he left the studio, he fired off around and then
closed the door as fast as he could so none
of it could escape through the roof of it.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
Good for you.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
It was so bad. I had to hot box you.
Good for you.

Speaker 5 (38:58):
And then he's work, he's got it some hair brow.

Speaker 8 (39:03):
Yeah,
