Speaker 6 (01:26):
He's ready to go.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Come on, man, go.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Where where are we going? Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I thought you were ready to go?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Guns are out today? And all right.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
So last week we did a little something called coach
speak where we heard some sound from various coaches around
the NFL and we heard them try and explain a
question that was asked to them in a very coach
speak type of way, and we.

Speaker 6 (01:56):
Tried to try to coach splain.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, we're going to do that now again.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Yeah you ready?

Speaker 5 (02:00):
All right, So here we go. Patty Speaks is ready.
He's got sound bites from various coaches around this week,
So let's started. Coach speak. Will explain, Patty will explain
what the context is, and we will react to see

(02:23):
whether or not the coach is telling the truth or
they're just full of crap.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
All right, So let's go ahead, all right, So I
got us five for us a gentleman, and we're gonna
start off with what is arguably the goat here of
the NFL. We got Bill Belichick. Guys, Yes, not NFL
right now, but it still counts nonetheless. So Bill Belichick
was asked recently about the New York Giants head coaching job,

(02:47):
and he was wanting to answer, saying, you know, we're
moving on. You know, we're on the wake for us
and all that good stuff. And you know what Larina
play us played out for him us. What he's telling
the guys, and I'll let you guys think what he says.

Speaker 7 (03:00):
I've been done this real before. I'm focused on Wake Forest.
That's it, and that's my commitment of this team. And
next week it'll be to our next opponent and so forth.
But you know I'm here to do best I can.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
For this team. All right, Jonas, you get to go first?
What do you think? He said?

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Yeah, of course I want to go take the Giant's job.
Do you think I want to hang out here?

Speaker 8 (03:21):
Like?

Speaker 5 (03:21):
I can't win? Even in the ACC, I can't win
now we're like, I've got to go win two of
three to get to bull eligible. I'm focused on Wake Forest.
Last I checked, that was a touchdown underdog against wake Forest. Yeah,
of course I want the Giants job. It's where I
started and had a lot of success in my NFL career.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I'd love to go back.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
I'd love to be a part of that organization again
and try and become the all.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Time winning as coach in NFL history. All Right, varyr
up next to what do you think?

Speaker 4 (03:50):
I think what he was.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Trying to say was, of course I want to go
back to the National Football League. At least there, the
age range and the age bracket of those that I
I am coaching won't be that of my girlfriend. I
will be safer and knowing what my job is, I'd
be able to coach better because I wouldn't be shooting
away guys who are shooting their sp constantly at my people.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Hey Brady, what about you man?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I'm gonna take a different approach to this one. Look, guys,
we've won two in a row. It's been a rough season.
I haven't experienced something like this ever, not on that
college level. Can we just focus on wake Forest, like
we could actually win this game. Heck, maybe we can
knock off Duke beat Duke.

Speaker 6 (04:36):
That'd be fun.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Maybe NC State, like we can actually maybe win out.
Could we possibly become buligible? And you guys are talking
about other stuff. It's like, I'm just focused on the
right here right now. It's been a rough go of it,
all right.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Very literal.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
I'll take it. Answers, galaor I love him?

Speaker 4 (04:56):
All right.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Next up we have Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin
was d asked just about yet again Aaron Rodgers, especially
after this recent lily type of a game, Loreena, could
you play that for us? Please?

Speaker 9 (05:10):
I'm not gonna, you know, chalk it up to an
off night, But there are no long term concerns. I'm
just not going to allow your words to be my words.
That's all. Sunday night was what it was. But I
have no long term reservations about his ability to play
the position and play the position at a high level
for us.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
All right, var you get first shout this one.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Well, what it sounds like to me is what he's
trying to say is is he wakes up, he gargles,
he brushes his teeth, he brushes them more than one time,
he meets the time requirements, and so the words that
come out of his mouth are fresh and clean, while
the words that were coming out of that reporter's mouth
were more like, you know, tartared field, cavity field, funky

(05:55):
breath field, holatosis field type things that we're coming out
of his mouth. And he just doesn't want to have
the same words coming out of his fresh, clean mouth
that are coming out of the potty mouth of that
their reporter, like that mic right there, that's right, because yeah,
you took your mic co took my mic.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
I mean talk about.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Weird proclivities like who takes your headphones and your your
micro's savages around here?

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Man boy, allright, next go around? Uh well, infatuations a
little bit alright, Brady Quinn, you get to go next.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
What's up?

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Var was talking so long? I don't remember what Tomlin said.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
I think it was something so bang Roger's age. A
little concern there, Yeah, yeah, I'm concerned. I know exactly
what you guys are talking about because we're talking about
it behind the scenes too, and uh, we're just not
going to draw attention to it because we know that he'll, uh,
he a little sensitive to it. So we're doing the
best we can. Look, we made this bed. I'm gonna

(06:56):
lay in.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
It, all right, Jonas, you get the final one on
top and what's up.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Yeah, of course there's long term concerns our quarterbacks. Old
if he cut of fartest back would go out. You
saw how he looked on Sunday Night football. But we
don't have any choices here, Like, he's what we got.
We just got to roll the dice and hope that
dice stays upright, and just hope one of our offensive
lineman doesn't tackle him again and he complains about him
and tries to assault the guy for going near him
and touching him, because he's he's fragile at this point

(07:22):
in his career. He's got to be a Hall of Famer.
We're just hoping we can get a fraction of that
Hall of Fame career down the stretch so that we
can win that division because we're sure as hell I'm
not going to make the playoffs as a wildcard team.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Oh god, all right, I like all those answers, like
Levarsa the best platosis, let's go.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
He he went into it I was like, go, let's
go all right next to old his fart can blow
his back out, Like what checkout depends my guy? That
butt health? Oh man?

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Well next, so we got Jim Harrbot, coach of the
Edge Chargers here. This one was a little quick one,
but it's kind of a fun one because he was
a just a head coach gushing over his star quarterback,
gushing over Justin Herbert. He was calling him a beast. Yeah,
calling him a beast, and have a little fun with it. Lareena,
could you play that for me please?

Speaker 10 (08:16):
I do have an update on his physical status. He's
still a beast, Brady.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
I'll let you go first on this one. I love him.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
I love him so much.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
He's playing behind a bunch of backups right now and
he's made us look good.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
I love him. That's why I'm here. I love him.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
I love him so much, Jonas you're getting next. Of course,
he's a beast.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
You see that piece of ass he's walking around with now,
I mean, come on, man, and he's keeping us afloat.
Our offensive line is banged up. We're down two tackles
for the year. One tackle. We just gave a bunch
of money too. We had a running back who signed
with US and then blew his face off in a
fireworks accident, then got hurt like week two of the season.
Like I'm throwing to a guy named Maconkey, trying to

(09:14):
make plays the best I can. Keithan Allen, we had
to give him some little like a gimmicky pass to
set the all time record. I mean, listen, he's a beast.
He's keeping US afloat on offense. But ultimately we know
how this is gonna go. There's gonna be an injury,
there's gonna be something that pops up, and we're gonna.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Screw the pooch in the postseason. All right, var you
get final one on Herbie. I just can't stop looking
at him.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
Every time he walks into the room, he just fills
the room up with beast energy. He's something so special
to me. I think the world of him. Ah, what
an amazing man.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
By the way, if they didn't have Herbert, where the
hell would they be.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
The prognosis that my eyes give my brain every single
time is beast.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Why are you two for two on this week? He
killing me right now? Oh let's go oh man, all right?
Next time we got a Bengals Head coach Zach Taylor
was asked about Joe Burrow, you know, actually getting some
practice reps in and Loreena, could you let u Zach
could take.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
It from here.

Speaker 11 (10:29):
I think he's ready for this part of the recovery,
you know, to come back on a limited basis and
progress it, you know, on the field with the players.
So I think he's in a good point internally. This
was always a good timeline for us. He's worked really
hard to get to this point to back on the
field in a limited form, and so I'm excited to
get Hi out there today.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
All right, Jonas, you get first one at this.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
And by the way, what I say get him out
there today, I mean in the secondary because we've got
a quarterback like Joe Flacco's our guy. He's in his
forties and he is slinging it and he's having a
good time and he's fun to watch. It's a great story.
He just picked up right where Joe Burrow last left
off with the chemistry with those wide receivers. He's not
the issue. Our defense is a diaper fire. We stink

(11:10):
out loud. We can't stop anybody. The Jets lost the
Bears loss screwed our season up. So Joe Burrow will
be back, but unfortunately he's going to be back in
the secondary. All right, var what what he was saying,
He's going to be the secondary?

Speaker 2 (11:30):
It is really good.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Do I do like it? I do buy it.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
I think what he's saying there and what he's feeling
there is that.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
He's ready for Joe Burrow to come back.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
He's ready for Joe Burrow to play for the Cincinnati Bengals.
They are literally only two games out of being tied
for the top of the AFC North.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
I do believe.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
We just want our franchise quarterback back in the saddle.
And by telling you the words that I'm telling you,
I feel like I'm letting Joe Burrow know that it's time.
It's time for you to come back and be a beast.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Well it is time to hear what Brady Quinn has
to say on this one. Brady, please don't fire me.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
He's been backed up a lot. I just want my
quarterback back. He makes all the difference in the world
right now.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
Just don't fire me. We just get to que just
get to Joe Burrow.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Be it back, and you guys could talk about Joe
and not about me and firing me.

Speaker 6 (12:41):
Just don't fire me.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Yeah, I didn't know that Joe Burrow was out right.

Speaker 6 (12:45):
Yeah, he wasn't here.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
It wasn't even here.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
I've been here the whole time. He hasn't been, though. Yeah,
we can't and I don't place, so we can't do
without him what I am.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
By the way, Zach Taylor's record with him, without Joe Burrow,
It's like, really, there's a I had difference and I
can't figure out our contract.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
You can't do it. Oh my goodness. Honestly, Brady, you
win this one.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
You got that one, you got it.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Come on, Jonas, this next one's for you. Come on, Jonas,
you got you got one last shot, Jones, come on,
all right. We got Kevin Stefanski, head coach of the
Browns guys, and he was asked on well, some timetables
for shudor Sanders. Maybe he's being a little vague. Uh, Lorena,
could you play for mister Stefanski please?

Speaker 12 (13:31):
I don't think it's fair to speculate. Darryl or We're
committed to getting better as an offense. Dylan is certainly
committing to improving every which way you can.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
All the while, all.

Speaker 12 (13:41):
Of our players, young players are are developing and working
so hard behind the scenes to make sure that they're
getting better on a daily base.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
All right, var you get first one.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Well, what he was basically trying to say is he's
he's got hemorrhoids and and I'm trying to heal from
my hemphrooids. I've been very irritated and my butt hurts,
and I'm I'm improving, and I'm getting better.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
And as I improve and as I.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Get better, I'll feel better as a coach or the
Cleveland Browns with some inflamed.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Bad hemorrhoids. Brady, I'm gonna let you go next, because
I'm gonna say I'm gonna let you just go last
on this one.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Yeah, it's not the hemorrhoids, it's the undisturbed sleep.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
Let mattress for a match.

Speaker 13 (14:31):
Uh shot mattress from his Black Friday sales and save
up to five hundred dollars that select temp repeting adjustable mattresses.
Restrictions apply next stage delivery available on select mattresses, subject
to location.

Speaker 6 (14:45):
Sea store for more details.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
I'll accept that that's gonna be hard to top.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Tody's you got pressure on you.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
Bro, all right.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
Kevin Stefanski's basically saying, look, this place sucks.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
All right.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
I look like a werewolf.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
I can't even go trick or treating with my family
because I had to answer questions about some guy that
showed a fake rolex after he beat seven to eleven
State in college. We got bigger issues here. Offensively, there's injuries.
Defensively we're great, but I'm gonna be out the door
because we had an owner give a massive contract to
a weirdo who went to the grab lab too many
times and got popped for it and then couldn't stay

(15:33):
healthy and stay on the field. Joe Flacco got here
one comeback player of the year over a guy that
almost died on the turf. They decided not to resign
him for whatever reason. Then we bring him back, and
then we trade him for whatever reason. This place stinks.
I can't make it work here. Ask all the shad
or Sanders questions you want, Darryl, But unfortunately, I'm gonna

(15:54):
be out the door after.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
The year is over. All three of you did magnet
if it's in this last one. Oh, but you know what,
just based on one word or one phrase only on
this the winner of this last one, Jonas not.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
To the Gravel about what up the Gravel album?

Speaker 2 (16:13):
One?

Speaker 3 (16:13):
It over for me there, Yo, we know whose show
this is because that was so weak?

Speaker 2 (16:21):
What do you mean you want to junk?

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Was weak?

Speaker 2 (16:24):
LaVar, you're the LaVar. You and Brady are showing the
crown today.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Mattress Firm was the winner of that round that was
related to the segment. Mattress Firm was the winner of
that round. But whatever, give it the Yonas emeralds that
that was funny as hell. I'm just going for the
last I'm not going for delivered. I'm not going for

(16:48):
literal things. I'm just going for it for the laughs.
You know what's last of you had a hemorrhoid. I
don't think I've ever had a hemorrhoid really, no.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
No have you?

Speaker 2 (16:59):
How do you get one?

Speaker 4 (17:00):
I think you might.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
I think you're like you over exert yourself, you know,
when you're pushing and or if you're on the pod
for too long. Yeah I'm not here, I'm not really
a woman. I think it's when you're pregnant. Yeah, pregnancy,
it happens during pregnancy. Yeah, we bring that up.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
But yeah, okay, I was thrown off when you said
the hemorrhoids.

Speaker 6 (17:25):
I'm glad I did not think we're gonna hemorrhoid mentioned
this morning.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Yeah, I mean it's you know that.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
I mean, you know our guy, you know what, what's
the radio guy Howard Stern made you know, shock Jock
Tell shot Jock radio popular. I just figure I shock
our people out there listening. Like if you were doing
your morning duties or driving or whatever it is that
you were doing, then you heard hemorrhoid pop up on
on sports radio talking about a coach. I mean it

(17:56):
might have made you, you know, pay attention. That's all,
you know, I mean, a hemorrhoid. I mean that's you know,
we can all relate to it.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
That's the guy who gets in this car to drive
to work and the first think he puts on his
hearing you talk about a hemorrhoid.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Yeah, there you go. And he's like, dang, mine is
inflamed right now.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Damn he's talking and't even thinking about until he said
something talking to me, Dang, who are you talking to
You're talking to my ass, literally literally your ass.

Speaker 5 (18:24):

show that Jackson Dart's going to be out for this

(21:19):
upcoming game for the Giants playing Cushion the Plane, the
Packers playing well, they're going to play Jameis Winston, so
Russell Wilson was the backup. He's been leapfrogged by Jameis Winston,
who's going to now take the reins at quarterback.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
Russ Pinata.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
So we uh, We've got some sound from both Russell Wilson.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
And Jameis Winston.

Speaker 5 (21:45):
I think there's a stark contrast between these two and
their approach to this game. Who would you guys like
to hear from first?

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Well, I hear Russ first.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
So here's the Here's Russell Wilson talking about his mentality
going into this knowing that now Jamis Winston is going
to be the starter.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
I love it here.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
I know God's got a great plan for me.

Speaker 8 (22:11):
I don't know what it is today the second as
I stand here, I just want to wake up and
have a great practice today. That's why, you know. I
want to have a great practice today. Zoned in on that,
and you know I want to I want to see
it through. I have an asked for release or anything
like that. I want to be here, you know. And
but you know, I think for me, I just want
to get better every day. I still want to keep
playing football. I love it obviously, and I feel like
I still got it idly. I want to play, but

(22:33):
also you know, Jamis has worked his butt off, you know,
to give him the great opportunities of guy's played in
this league for a long time and he's one of
my closest friends. I know he'll do a great job.
I'm to help him prepare the best way possible.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
I'll be ready to go.

Speaker 8 (22:44):
I felt ready to go last game, you know, obviously,
and I just got to Soli me down in the
one you know, int art line. We didn't We didn't
get it unfortunately to go forward, but you know, it's
part of the game and and uh, you know, we
thought we're going to win the game there and feel
goal and all that, but it didn't work out. So
I know with Jamis, though he works his butt off,
I guessaid, we have a great dialogue and he's a
great teammate.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
So that's Russell Wilson.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
He slid them little stats up in there though he
got that through the one yard line.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
I got him down to the one yard line.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah, probably should have gone for it.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
That we get that, we get that that field goal.
You know.

Speaker 5 (23:17):
Now here's Jameis Wintz.

Speaker 15 (23:20):
I'm want fans to know that I'm gonna do my best,
you know, option I'm gonna have fun, but I'm going
to execute, have a surgical execution. Uh, and just and
just play ball, man, Like this is something I've been
doing since I've been four years old, and I just
get to do it in the greatest city in the world.
I'm gonna be saying, what, my son, what's the greatest
city in the world.

Speaker 6 (23:39):
Yeah, that's that's a Hamilton reference.

Speaker 4 (23:41):
If y'all don't know, a teen year reunion. Oh oh
my god.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
It's clear the giant difference between the the approach of
both as they.

Speaker 6 (23:51):
Are the giants in trouble. Can you hear that?

Speaker 4 (23:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Win win wine.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
Yeah, it's bad. That's bad. I don't know that. Don't
do what to day.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
I mean, at least it'll be fun to watch. I mean,
I think people tend to forget. There was a period
of time we called the Jamis Winston experience where he
was throwing touchdown passes.

Speaker 6 (24:20):
He was throwing to both teams.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
You know, it was touchdown pass, pick six, touchdown pass,
touchdown pass pick six. I mean, didn't he have an
epic rant about the Lord delivering him a pick six
at at a press conference.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
But did he also throw for over five thousand yards
in his career one time?

Speaker 4 (24:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (24:41):
I think it was that season we talked about it.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Five thousand yards. So he and he's a Heisman guy,
you know, I mean, the guy can play. I know,
maybe people might not remember it based off he's a
great athlete, but yeah, he.

Speaker 6 (24:53):
Was a really good baseball player too.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
I'm interested to see. I'm curious will this team rally
around Jamis and will they will they rally around one
another in this moment in time where they've you know,
let their their head coach go, Like again, we were
talking about it earlier in the show. Is this a
we're we're happy about where we're at with one another,

(25:17):
and we're going to show you that we can win
and do some some great things because we're not dealing
with whatever it is that came with the guy that
got rid of or are you going to see a
team that maybe might be flat, maybe might not be
as energetic based upon you know, their feelings of not
having their.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
Head coach there anymore.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
I mean, maybe the pros is a little bit different
because they're older and you're supposed to be a professional
and do your job, but not being all the way
a professional is the reason why they don't have a
head coach right now as well. So I just think
that's going to be interesting to see how they play
in this game and how much time do they give
Jameis Winston in the game, and what is the move

(26:00):
of the team If Jamis Winston doesn't work out while
he's in there, you go right back to Russell Wilson.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
And what does that mean? I mean, is he's going
to get you down shortly? She think Jamis is going
to shortly?

Speaker 4 (26:12):
I don't know. I don't know. I'm sure how can
we know?

Speaker 5 (26:14):
As Brady alluded to, the best part about Jameis Winston
is like, if you're through a half of football and
he's got like a Nathan Peterman game where he's throwing
five picks, you don't bench that guy because you know
he's capable of five touchdowns the second half, Like you
ride this thing into.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
A ditch if possible.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
But if that were the case, and that's the thought
process of it, why haven't you already tried that? Is Jackson, Darry,
you kind of know what you're getting I mean, but
why wouldn't you throw him in there as opposed to
throwing Russ in there? You know what you're going to
get out of Russ. You don't know what you're going
to get out of Winston.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
What are you going to get out of Russ?

Speaker 3 (26:54):
He'll get you down to the one yard last something.
But something's going to eventually go wrong. I'm eventually going
to go wrong with Rust And listen, God's plan for
him to do something greater in life.

Speaker 4 (27:05):
I just don't know that it's in football.

Speaker 6 (27:07):
So let's let's acknowledge this.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
You know, Mike Kafka takes over as the interim head coach,
and he's the play caller, and you know, you have
to wonder because Brian Dable offensive mine, you know, might
have been over top of some of the things that
Kafka wanted to do, and now he gets to do that.
So I don't know if it's a matter of maybe

(27:31):
he feels like with Jackson out, James is better suited
to push the ball down the field, you know, to
implement some things in the passing game.

Speaker 6 (27:40):
I don't I don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
Maybe it's from you know, practice or his observation he
feels like, Hey, I want to give James a try,
Like I feel good about you know where Jamis is at.
I sit in the room with him every day, Like
I know what he's capable of, and so I want
to give him a shot. I think he's earned that opportunity.
So he could simply come down to that too. And
just a difference in how Brian Dable and Mike Kafka

(28:05):
viewed the backup quarterback situation in the first place.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
You do know he just opened up a conversation to
a conspiracy theory. Think about this, coming into the season,
who was your starting quarterback?

Speaker 4 (28:26):
Russell Wilson.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Russell Wilson starts, Russell Wilson gets benched for poor.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Play, right?

Speaker 3 (28:35):
Sure, yeah, they thought Jackson Dark could give them the
boost that they needed. See what you got, Okay, Jackson
Dark does pretty well, but struggles with the head who
comes in it's always Russ.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
What this just made me think about? Hearing Q.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Takes me down a lane of thinking that the defensive
coordinator want to start Jameis Winston all along until Jackson
Dart was prepared to play. And could it be the
fact that maybe day Ball wanted to stick with Russell Wilson,

(29:19):
and maybe the conversation was had with the offensive coordinator,
as though I don't understand why we continue to keep
going back to Russ. He can't run our offense the
way Jameis Winston would run it if he were in
the game. We have a better chance of winning if
we have Jameis Winston in. Why do we continue to

(29:43):
go back to Russell Wilson? So we have to let
Dave Ball go in order to see how this plays
out with his offense with the quarterback. He always wanted
to start from day one until Jackson Dart was ready.
If Jackson Dart hadn't gone in, dude to Russell Wilson

(30:05):
playing poorly, his head went and got beat up. If
his head doesn't get beat up, Jameis Winston gives Jackson
Dart more time to develop. You get more time to develop,
you're better when you get in. That's so That's what
I'm gonna go with. So Mike Kafka was the Jamis guy?

Speaker 4 (30:20):
A yes, So what sounds like? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (30:26):
And while I'm like I was joking like in nature
of making it a conspiracy theory, I'm maybe there's some
truth to there's some real truth to the idea that
maybe he feels as though Jamis Winston would be able
to take and manage his offense much more effectively and
efficiently or surgically, as he said, even more so than

(30:48):
Russell Wilson.

Speaker 5 (30:49):
I know we've talked about this before, but I can't
get over the fact of what Russell Wilson's career has
become sin Seattle.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
He's a well second string, but he would have been.

Speaker 5 (31:02):
I can't even if you would have told anybody his
final year in Seattle, because I think he had the
mallet finger, so he missed some time there. But if
you would have told anybody, hey, by the way, like
this is how this is gonna go. No chance like
there was there was no possible way, and he wanted out,
and he wanted to go do his own thing, and
it's just gone about as poorly as it could possibly

(31:24):
have gone.

Speaker 6 (31:24):
In five years since he has never thrown the ball
as well since with the mallet finger. Yeah, it's it's crazy, man.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
I mean it sounds like something so small, but when
you think about as a quarterback, the last thing that
touches the ball is your right indext finger.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
As a right handed thrower.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
And not having the feeling not not you know, getting
used to how it it spins off your hand differently,
because after any injury, you're always gonna have to adapt
and change a little bit.

Speaker 6 (31:55):
It just it hasn't been the same since.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
And look, we can chalk it up to change just scenery,
system personnel.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
But personnel in the house or in the on the team.
What you mean on the team? Okay, okay, all right,
because the change of personnel in the house could have
changed the way he played too.

Speaker 6 (32:13):
He has been a Sierrah for a while though.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
So I know my career fell apart when I fell
in love. It's just everything fell apart, man. Yeah, just
relationships could do that, man, you know, they could jack
careers up. You know, it's a very vulnerable moment for you. Yeah,
why not? Well, you know, this is our this is

(32:38):
our community, this is this is our safe space space,
our support group. So I just figure I'll tell y'all man,
you know, yeah.

Speaker 6 (32:46):
Love Jack my jo said the same thing about radio.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Yeah, he's been horrible ever since. Huh time to him
used to be good.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
What radio is my rocket ships?

Speaker 6 (33:01):
That's the other way around.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
It went all bad.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
I mean she is hot. Like, I'll just put it.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
That upon, you know, upon for the review of it.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
That's how kicked his covert.

Speaker 5 (33:15):
You can say whatever you want about that guy. He's
got three hundred million in the bank, a borderline hall
of fame career.

Speaker 4 (33:21):
Hall of fame wife, he loves Jesus and what else
is there?

Speaker 5 (33:27):
That's the other thing too, he he seems like and
I know, he's a super nice guy, like you, like,
there's no issue that, not even a peep of any
off field arrests or a guy going out drinking and driving.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
Or he's the opposite direction.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
He's Tuesday he was at the children's hospital.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
Yeah, you think about all away from that.

Speaker 6 (33:49):
Between getting benched and then on top of that, now
you might have an opportunity again.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
And then they picked the other guy, and Tuesday still
goes and sees the kids and children's hospital.

Speaker 6 (34:00):
It's pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 6 (34:02):
I know people hate like hearing us talk nice and
all that.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
They don't want to hear that in the morning. They
don't hear us have these like hot takes and whatnot.
But I'm just saying, like, he's a.

Speaker 6 (34:12):
Good dude man.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
He probably got little hands ye'ah. And that's why that
mallet fingered and jack them up. He can't throw it
no more because he can barely hold that be out.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
So can you just not ever that better?

Speaker 4 (34:25):
You can hate it on his hands.

Speaker 5 (34:27):
You can just not ever feel the tip of your
finger like that's it? Yeah, no, no, that's yeah. I
mean that that would be a problem.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
There's a mallet right there.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
You got imagine this like for those living in the north,
like cold weather, try leaving your hand like out in
cold weather, and then then pick your nose and then
see if you can feel while you're trying to you
know what I'm saying, Like, it's gonna be hard to
pick your nose because you can't feel anything.

Speaker 5 (34:52):
It's like frostbite basically for the rest I mean, I'm
not going that far.

Speaker 6 (34:56):
It doesn't need to be amput amputated.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
I can feel, man, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (35:00):
But it's still a functioning lim You just can't can't.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
I can't move it.

Speaker 6 (35:05):
Did you get surgery on it? No, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (35:08):
That might be what it is.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
You can defend it to the side.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
Oh yeah's car my cartilage and my fingers are gone.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
Oh my cart.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
I want to see.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
My pinkies from from grabbing big dudes. So when you
go to grab a man and you try to grab
the spirit and the soul out of their body, uh
huh dang, sometimes you're you're LaVar grabbed a lot of man.
You're I was a grabber. I was a man grabber.

(35:40):
He's a man graber. If you didn't have your fingers taped,
a lot of times people think that, oh, that's cool,
he taped his fingers, like it's like a style thing.
But it really wasn't like it if you saw a
dude had his fingers buddy taped. I used to always
try to butty tape my ring finger and my pinky finger,
because when you grab a three hundred pound and who's

(36:00):
coming at you, and you're going at him, you don't
think about the fact that if you miss, if your
fingers hit his body or anything like that, something has
to happen. They look like uncooked top dogs. They just
kind of flop around. You see that one is all
the knuckles messed up.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
It goes all the way to the sun.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
But yeah, it's it's putty. They're putty, like you could
do anything with them.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Oh, my god, I've always done that again.

Speaker 3 (36:26):
You just keep stretching them out. Oh every time you
hit them big men and you grab them guys.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Yeah, yeah, yikes.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Are jacked up, jacked up.

Speaker 6 (36:39):
So there you go.

Speaker 9 (36:39):
You have.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
I'm gonna have nightmares about your hands.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
That was scary.

Speaker 15 (36:43):
You know.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
If you come in, I'll let you grab on it, okay,
and you can like move it and that'll freak you
out because you can move it any direction you want.
Oh my god, come on, you want to do it,
Let's do it on air, all right, come on, let's
do it.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
All you asking to pull your fingers?

Speaker 4 (36:57):
Yes, it's no, don't don't be don't be sad. Just
grab it.

Speaker 5 (37:01):
Move Why do you have to stand up to do it?

Speaker 2 (37:09):
Like pops and goes? My god, right now, pull your
pants up.

Speaker 5 (37:15):
Ridiculous, Thanks jonas well, thing's ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
In that case, actually if you need some tires to
get there.

Speaker 5 (39:49):
You know, thirty two carries two hundred and forty four
yards three touchdowns, on the day there.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
I'll bet that out.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
I'll bet that dow, I bet that dot.

Speaker 4 (40:02):
Bet that down old dog.

Speaker 5 (40:04):
Remember remember when he was sitting on the back of
the golf cart with Jim Mersay and there was uh
that he didn't want to be there.

Speaker 4 (40:11):
Bill Mersey was.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
Just and no clothes with just a cowboy hat and
cowboy boots on and leaned up against the the tree
and started singing.

Speaker 5 (40:21):
You should want to be what you guys said, whatever
you wanted about Carl Ursay.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
She she didn't turned that thing around. She didn't got
no headphones, she didn't told them what to do.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
And now they has been doing this for a while.
By the way, how about it?

Speaker 3 (40:35):
Yeah they look good. Shouts out to gym man, he
raised her right, man. Shouts out to Jim rest easy,
my guy. He's he's up there playing on that tree
up there.

Speaker 14 (40:44):
Man.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
I wonder what song is He's come up with some
new songs or you know, of course bangers some bangers, man.
All right, Now, the Colts and Saints are the bye
week teams. But after that Indye is going to be
at Kansas City.

Speaker 4 (41:00):
It's a big one.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
We don't found out a lot about them.

Speaker 6 (41:03):
If they wouldn't that one. Are you gonna believe in them?

Speaker 3 (41:05):
Finally, Laura, I'll know they're for real, I mean right now,
And you're like whatever. What's crazy is they had more
to lose than to gain against the Steelers because if
they would have beat the Steelers, I would have expected
them to beat the Steelers, but I didn't because I
didn't know if this is a real team. And they
lost to the Steelers because they got big Brother Boum.

(41:27):
So yeah, I want to see them beat Kansas City.
I don't know that I'll believe all the way, but
I'll stop thinking they're as fools gold as I think
they are.

Speaker 5 (41:33):
Because you're expecting for Daniel Jones to have a stinker
like you did.

Speaker 3 (41:36):
Yes, damn yeah, I mean his punkin might have you know,
his cart might have turned back into a pumpkin.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero.
