(01:31):
buying should be. Well, thank you, I appreciate it. At
least we could do. Uh. So here's the situation in
the NFL. People are outraged, they're bothered. Uh, they're just
disgusted with what this league has turned into. Because there
was a roughing the passer call yesterday on Tom Brady

(01:52):
that was listen. The Falcons got flagged. It was a
crucial third down, there was a couple of minutes left
in the game and Tom Brady was thrown to the
ground violently buying Atlanta Falcons defender Grady Jarrett just to
throw him to the ground and he got pop for
fifteen yards and thus the drive extended and the Tampa

(02:16):
Bay Buccaneers were able to survive. Yesterday, they look like
they were in cruise control. All of a sudden, the
fourth quarter hit. Next thing, you know, it's a six
point game. If you had the Falcons plus ten, that's it.
That's that's big, big time win for the Falcons and
people to bet on the Atlanta Falcons. But Tom Brady

(02:36):
himself was asked by the media afterwards about the roughing
the passer call, and here's what Tom Brady had to say,
allowing the asking there, it is, I don't I don't
throw the flags. I mean you want me, Yeah, he
does the officials when they don't throw the flight. Yeah,

(03:00):
there's there's a lot of that. So so here we go.
What this was, you know what this was before you
try to do just a big, big set up here.
Have you guys ever been around older folks are like
out in public and they might like cut in front
of you in line, and and you kind of let
it happen because you have respect. You know, they're elderly
and um, you know, and then they might turn back

(03:21):
and go, oh, I'm sorry, were you in line and
you're like, oh, yeah, it's it's okay, it's okay. Or like,
you know, they go up to the shopping cart line
and they happen to put a couple of things in
their cart and they didn't put them back, stray up
to the register and they're like, oh, um, sir s
did you forget to put that up there. Oh I'm sorry,
I at my old age. Like, I don't know if

(03:42):
you've been around some elderly folks. There's some who legitimately
obviously have some issues, but there's some who are like
they're trying to ye. This was almost like Jerome Boger
in the officials are looking at Tom Brady's old ass
and saying, man, we gotta give him a little elderly
help here, like we're gonna give him benefit of the doubt.
And it wasn't a dangerous play, probably shouldn't be rough

(04:03):
in the passer, but he's got that frail old forty
five year old body that we gotta we gotta make
sure we look out for. So it was almost like
Jerome Burgers out there looking at his grandfather and he
was like, man, I gonna make sure the old old
Tom is gonna be okay. So we're gonna go and
throw the flag here so that doesn't happen again. I mean, listen,
I think it was the right call. I mean, like,

(04:24):
if somebody could have been seriously injured, and we are
all about players safety, yeah, I mean, we're we're all
about player safety these days, but you know, I mean
kids are watching these games, and now do you want
kids to reenact that moment? And next thing you know,
a kid gets thrown on the on the living room
floor and he's you know, dinged up a little bit.
I think it was disgusting and Grady Jared actually should
be fined. He should you should be fined for the

(04:45):
for the hit himself. So I think that's that's where
we're gonna play, because that's that's how we're we're doing
this now. I mean, we're just gonna call everything and
there's gonna be a reaction to an overreaction to this,
to this, to this it was an awful or it's terrible,
But I don't like people are outraged by this. I'm
just I'm not surprised. I think we're probably gonna see

(05:08):
more of this to where anything that becomes close anything
that's done here, like they're they're willing to rewrite the
concussion protocols and all that stuff in the middle of
the season when we see something play out like it
did on national television. I can assure you, do you
think anybody any of these officials are really going to
be talked to by the league. Is there gonna be
anything done about this. Are they gonna be held responsible

(05:31):
or held accountable for any of this stuff? I highly
doubt it. This is just going to disappear and it's
just going to continue down. They're graded, you know, they
are definitely monitored, graded, and and even in some cases
they are disciplined. I think, honestly speaking, this is one

(05:52):
of those deals where people just need to get over it,
right like you can if you hadn't noticed, you can
complaining about refereeing for every play for every game, right,
So just get over it. At some point, you know
that there are going to be calls that could have

(06:13):
gone either way. There are some non calls that could
have been called. It's it's just a part of the
element of the game. You have to navigate that. Yes,
it does bother you, but but you still have to
continue like you still gotta You still gotta put your

(06:33):
best foot forward. You're not you know, he can't. That
guy can't not come harder than than what he was
before that took place, or guys can't sit there and
and live in complaining about our that that shouldn't have
been called. Now, I don't want to hit the quarterback.
That's that other you still got to play the game.
And I think that that's just it's an element that

(06:54):
that defenders will always have. I saw, and it bothers
me so bad that this happens. But I saw the
other week. I forget who it was. It was a
big game and the running back grabbed the defender's face mask.
The defender grabbed his face mask. They threw the flag.
They're like the commentators were like, oh, I wonder who

(07:15):
the flag is on. I'm like, why are you wondering
who the flag is on? It's always going to be
called on the defender because when when an offensive player
does its agregious as it can be, unless it's just
horribly bad, it's a step farm if if if a
defender touches a face touches it, not even just grabs it.
If he touches that face mask, that flag is coming out.

(07:39):
So it's you can be upset about it, and you
can complain about it, but in the end, that's just
how it's. It's it's set up. It's Garrett that way,
get over and keep playing. Man. Yeah, I don't know.
I just think at some point this is where we're
at and people are gonna get upset about this stuff,
and they're gonna get angry about it, and they're gonna

(07:59):
say all that, Uh, that's terrible. It is only Tom
Brady who got those calls. Like to your point, there's
a lot of calls every single week that you look
at and go what the hell? And I do do
you think? Do you think the concussion on two? I
think I think that's the reaction by the officials as
they're trying to maybe limit potential dangerous plays. Now, Jerome

(08:22):
Boger was asked that, and or someone someone with the
NFL officiating crews were asked that. They said that didn't
have any bearing on it. But I would have to
imagine that's what they were concerned by, is seeing the
injury to tah where that happened in I think two
separate instances where he got hit like that, so they're

(08:43):
trying to potentially eliminate it. I just don't know what
you tell defenders. I'm sorry, Like I know, we try
to make the game a safe is humanly possible. It
seems like we've got all these new helmets and we're
having more concussions than ever. So explain that to me. Well,
with the way these these new helmets are designed into
everything else. And I don't think it's just a matter

(09:03):
of us saying, oh, like players are just more aware
of it. No, it seems like we've got more players
being concussed than ever before. I'm not sure what you
want to attribute that to. It feels that way at least,
and I think we're trying to make the game as
safe as possible by elimiting certain types of hits. This
is one where I don't know what you tell a defender.
Like at one point when Grady Jared had Tom Brady

(09:26):
on top of him, Tom Brady is not down, And
I understand Tom Brady is not gonna get up and
scramble off of you. But Lamar Jackson would, all right,
Josh Allen would, Patrick Mahomes would, Kyler Murray would like
you start going through the roll deecks of quarterbacks who
are athletic enough to actually, when you're spun like that,
get up and keep playing. Those dudes would, And so
I don't know what you tell a defender. And I

(09:47):
also think the other thing is it's frustrating for quarterbacks too,
because if you're gonna give that call to Tom, every
other quarterback, saying you should be given that to me
as well. Like, if this is about players safety, don't
make it about one guy because he's forty five, making
about the rest of us too. If you're trying to
protect us, I'm sure to us wishing the same thing, right,
Not that it would have mattered in the end since

(10:08):
he got knocked out of the game, but like, that's
the thing is if defensive players are upset, Yeah, I
get it because I'm right there with you. I I'm
look at and go I don't know what you want
gritted Jarrett to do. And then you look at, for example,
another quarterback and they're not getting those calls. He completed
the tackle, that he did his job. You don't complete
the tackle, they'll tear you up and you'll lose your

(10:29):
job eventually. And by the way, like think about the
difference in Tom Brady's training in gritty Jared's Graty Jared
is training to go up against a three plus pound
man for a series of seventy plays, maybe more, every
single week for seventeen games. These dudes have to be
absolute loads bowls of human beings. How they go hit

(10:53):
another individual who is not trained to do that is
not built like that. It's going to look shifts. That's
how this whole game works. And when you sign up
for it, when you get paid to go play, you're
not checking this box of all. This is the this
is the waiver where if you get hit and spun around,
we're gonna protect you and all. I mean, that's just
that's not how it works. I hated seeing it, honestly,

(11:16):
Like I I get there's some nerds out there who
want the game to be like everyone's wrapped in bubble wrap,
no one gets hurt. That's not reality. Like if you
think you're gonna watch a football game and not see
someone get hurt, it's just not the reality of the game.
We see non contact injuries all the time, so we're
gonna have contact injuries because it's a contact sport and
that's what you sign up for. That's why. That's part

(11:36):
of the reason why you get compensate as well as
you do. It's isn't that the risk. It's like driving,
Like I don't want to get in an accident, Okay,
so you better stay home. That's the only way you're
gonna prevent never getting an accident. If you get in
your car. You run the risk that you're gonna get
into an accident. It's gonna happen, and if you go
out there, you run the risk there's gonna be an injury.
Like we've talked like I've talked to you guys about it,
and you've you've both told me. Listen, you don't play

(11:58):
thinking you're going to get injured. You just gotta play
and you understand the risks that are involved. Isn't the
same thing with concussions. Isn't it the same thing with
somebody when when there's this many violent collisions every single week,
you're gonna get dinged up a little bit. That's why
I don't understand why it's improper to use ding up
anymore though that's it's not find herble, but it's improper

(12:21):
because it's not classifying it correctly and accurately. It's not
a ding your your concussed, and you can't minimize the
serious in nature of what what that injury entails. But
to your point, you're right, you are taking on the
risk of what comes along with playing a full contact sport.

(12:42):
That's the reality of it. And if you get injured,
you can't like what what this is like kind of
turning into a little bit is It's like it's like
people are are chasing injuries, the media, the you know,
helicopter parents, They're they're chasing the injuries. Like I was
watching some some late night comedy show on on HBO

(13:05):
and the guy was like, Yeah, you want to take
on a profession where you'll die, go play in the NFL.
Like it's like people are like making jokes about it.
People are are, you know, kind of making it a
punchline that you know, getting concussions in the National Football
League is like something that you choose to do at
this point. Like listen, you go out there and you

(13:27):
play the game, and it's just like anything else, there
are inherent risks that are connected to whatever it is
your profession. Maybe it could be construction, it could be trash,
it could be it could be being a doctor. Heck,
it could be you could have different issues dealing with
being a lawyer. You know, it could be a disgruntled
you know, customer. I don't know, But the bottom line

(13:49):
is you take on the risk of what your profession
is going to be, and it doesn't need to turn
into this soft approach to knowing that this is this
is a part of it. You just hand with the
proper protocols, is what you do. That's what ultimately comes
down to me. Yeah, it's uh so, there's that. There's
the the latest on let's protect the Game at all

(14:10):
costs update in the NFL. So maybe they'll be maybe
there will be a fine for Grady chaired or something
like that. Who knows. Maybe we suspended four games, six games.
You never know what these punishments. It is Two Pros

up later on this hour, a little over twenty minutes
from now, we are going to have another edition of
the f s R I R some things that we
need to report, injuries, issues, ailments. I think it's basically
going to be the legal lap Show because we were

(15:35):
given some some pictures sent on our group chat, our
text message chain this weekend, and I think Lee's got
some explaining to do, so sunglasses inside giant drink in
front of him. Lots of discussion will be happening here
in a little over twenty minutes from now. By the way,
before we get into this conversation in the NFL, there's

(15:56):
some good and bad for a couple of teams in
the NFL. I want to welcome you to the Fox
Sports Radio Tailgate presented by the Big Green Egg. Nothing
beats the flavor of live fire cooking on a Big
Green Egg. It's the most versatile Grillian lever own back

(16:19):
Big Green, how about those Philadelphia Eagles. The the Eagles,
all right, Nick Sirianni in a certain way. Uh, yeah,
the Eagles. It's p a the Eagles. You know, it's
like Steelers. Yeah, come on, difference, difference, Come on, man,
it's Pennsylvania. It's not like saying Stellers. You don't get it, man,

(16:40):
You know no, man, Pennsylvania Eagles, Steelers. Bottom line, they're
five and oh they're they're an undefeated football team. Uh
you know Pennsylvania. Well, shout out to people in Pennsylvania.
That's that's Eastern Pennsylvania we're discussing right now. They're not

(17:00):
the or however you try to say that, well, they're
not just like waffle They say it again, giggles E
goes giggles. I don't. I don't make the rules. Man.

(17:20):
That's that's Pennsylvania. Yeah, I don't. I don't. I don't
throw those flags. It's Pennsylvania, man. I don't know why
they why they pronounced their teams like that. They just do.
But never mind that they're five. They're winning. Yeah, there
are five and old football team. Yesterday was not the
best performance, but they did get it done on the
road against the Arizona Cardinals and the Kyler Murray slide

(17:44):
um not recognizing that he was short of the first
down marker, thus having to spie head first. I'm either way,
you're declaring yourself down to that instance, that's the rule.
But the differences where the ball would have been position
of which, look, it's it's hard for I think it's
hard for me to be critical of him with the

(18:06):
whole slide and where he was only because he was
about a few feet off and he had got them
kind of to that point, So it's hard to be
overly critical. And like, at the end of the day,
you gotta make a field goal. I just thought the
broadcast almost put the curse on Amatola because they showed
a vignette of him missing every kick the exact same

(18:27):
way he ended up missing, So kudos to the production there.
But at the same time, it was almost like a
bad omen And I'm sure Cardinal's fans were like, come on, man, like,
at least give us a shot here. You just keep
playing the same miss And of course, uh, it literally
looked just like that vignette. It was identical like and I,
I don't know about you, but they almost talked me
into it before the kick. I thought, oh, he's gonna

(18:48):
miss us just because it like they they really did
kind of work you into that. And and once they missed,
Philadelphia ends up winning the game and congrats to them,
and all of a sudden, the NFC East man that
is uh, that used to be sort of a punchline
as far as all the coverage they would get outside

(19:10):
of the Commandos, everybody in the NFC East who's representing
themselves nicely pretty pretty competitive. Yeah, I mean the Commandos
were competitive, they just didn't finish. Yeah, they've kind of
been competitive a little bit. They just didn't didn't finish.
Why didn't Why didn't they finish? What happened did that?
Carson wentz uh, you know, and Carson wentz fashion little

(19:32):
no Little. That was another test text message threat that
that started. Carson Wentz gonna do it in Carson wentztow
man like he's not. It's not going to just be heartbreaking.
It's just gonna it's gonna rip your heart out. Like
how how do you just throw the game away like that?

(19:52):
I don't know. Well, I mean that's that, That's how
it's done. That's how it's done. Yeah, it's just that's
that's the way it's done there in Washington. That's that's
the command I think they wanted. Well, he's done that
in other places, but he has brought it to contribute
to what has already been going on. That it's a
match made in heaven, you know. I believe it was
alumni weekend too, so there were a lot of lums

(20:14):
there to see that take place. Um, is Philly the
best team in the NFL? I think if you're doing
if you're doing power rankings, lame power rankings, is Philly
the best team in the NFL. No, I would still
pick the Bills to beat them. I probably still pick
the Chiefs to beat them. I just I think it's
hard when you see a team like this having a

(20:35):
lot of success early in the season. They're a playoff
team a year ago, and I'm not trying to take
anything away from what they've accomplished, but like we've seen
such a run of success from the Chiefs, it's just
it's hard for me to think otherwise until you know,
you see that team be able to get to a
Super Bowl and knock one of those two off, because
I think those are the two that are gonna be

(20:55):
playing from the a f C. At least that's how
it looks. I mean, we'll see what happens with Roberto's
Freighters tonight take on the Chiefs. Yeah, well that's gonna
be That'll be a fun aftermath show tomorrow as we
get some feedback on the night for Roberto uh the
Raiders Chiefs later on tonight. I just remember when the
conversation was after Doug Peterson and whether or not they

(21:18):
were throwing that Week seventeen game on national television because
they were trying to get a better pick and all
that stuff, and the thought was, well, you know, they
went out and they hired Nick Sirianni. There was a
lot of people that questioned the higher and it was
Jalen Hurts is going to be an, So it's it's
a nice stop gap quarterback, it's a nice stop gap coach.
But this team, without wanting to say it, is clearly

(21:39):
in rebuild mode. I mean, Nick Sirianni's probably the coach
of the year at this point. I don't know, Yeah, no, true,
I mean yeah, I think who had a further rope. Yeah,
I would say it's way more improbable what New York
is doing than than what But but put to your point,

(22:01):
they are the only undefeated team left in the league.
And there was a lot of people who mocked Sirianni
because of his method, like when he would talk to
guys when he was talking to yeah, like draft potential
draft picks. He'd be meeting with guys at the combin
and they play like rock paper scissors and all this stuff.
Was like, oh God, here it goes another guy trying

(22:22):
too hard, just like Joe Judge playing in mud puddles
and all that crap. Howry Roseman's one that makes the
picks anyway, So I'm not sure that really mattered. Um,
maybe that's why they're playing some of those games, but
this is a loaded roster, Like, forget about that element
of how they're looking at guys because ultimately, Howie Roseman
is gonna do what Hollie Roseen is gonna do. I mean,
they could have drafted a receiver. It's like, oh no,
it's good a J. Brown. But I just I look

(22:44):
at this roster. It's deep, it's stacked, it's talented. The
scheme they're running places at the stranks of their players.
And the one concern you have, and I this is
that kind of concern that I think every fan has
right now in regards to their defense, is they're Jonathan Gannon,
their DC play the shell coverage. He's not gonna load
up the box to stop the run. He's gonna be patient.
He's gonna force teams to have to go down the

(23:06):
field the long, hard way, and eventually they'll make enough
plays or the team they're playing will make a mistake.
That's the era of of of defense that we're in
right now in the NFL. It's it's a copycat league.
A lot of people are trying to mimic that and
do that, and it's slow. It's slowing down a lot
of these high powered offenses. I mean, I think you're

(23:27):
starting to see that in regards to light boxes, teams
running the football more effectively, and and you know you're
not having these big gutty passing numbers because it's you're
just bang your head against the wall. There's no reason
to try to do it if it's not there. And meanwhile,
you've got the opportunity to run the football for five
six yards eclipse sometimes. So I think that's the only

(23:48):
concern like that you have is you know, does that
does that defensive strategy work out over the course of
of a game when you're playing against a Josh Allen,
a Patrick Mahomes or whoever you want to throw into
that versation. At quarterback, I would say this is the
biggest game of their season coming up against Dallas. It's

(24:10):
the biggest game of the season. They're they're undefeated. This
was a big game against Arizona because Arizona is a
winning team. But and you think about what they've had
to do to get to where they are being undefeated.
I mean, it's a pretty decent Vikings team. You know,
you obviously have the high scoring lines, but they don't

(24:31):
know how to win yet. You know, there's the Commanders.
They're competitive, but can't finish games. Uh, They beat Jacksonville,
who is a much improved team. But you know, obviously
the Eagles stopped stop their momentum growth. And now you
have Dallas, right, you look at the rest of the way.
Green Bay is a tough one, but you look at

(24:52):
the other teams. The Colts are in disarray, the Tennessee
Titans are struggling, and a tough one by one, not
not not so much. Mean, I would just only say
that only because you have Aaron Rodgers, right, but then
they have a very pudgy like this. They have one
of those type schedules that kind of kind of shakes
out where they they could go pretty far being undefeated.

(25:16):
I mean, it's not it's not a grueling schedule. I mean,
now New York seems like it's a game now and
and Dallas is a game, so you got to do
that two times over. But the rest of these games,
I mean, you really would have to look at it
and say, Philadelphia is in great pole position to have
a really really strong, uh second half of the season. Yeah,

(25:40):
they're gonna I'm looking at their adjusted wind total right now.
I'm trying to see if I can get to it here,
because what was the okay, so it's at thirteen and
a half. So the projection and the over is got
money coming in on it. So the the projection is
that Philly is gonna go fourteen thir and three this season,
which is I think that's fair. That's they might lose

(26:01):
one they weren't supposed to lose, and that they let
that one get away, and then there might be one
or two games like Dallas or New York where they
split with them. So I mean, I could see them
being a three loss team, but it's a favor of
them to be only a three loss team at this point. Yeah,
So this is, uh, that's why this se the betting

(26:22):
a lot if you're looking at it. I mean, they
really should look at you know, land some money on
them to win the NFC, right, I Mean, that's that's
what you're thinking at this point, because if they do
end up being fourteen to three, they'll be the number
one seed. We'll get a buy and then you only
you really got to play a couple of games before
you get to a Super Bowl. So and their style
of play in the elements that plays in the postseason correctly,

(26:44):
because like yesterday, that final drive when they were going
down to get the um the being the game winning
field goal another taxas kicker. It was a dick or
the kicker. The kicker got it done. Um. So when
you see them go down the field, it was a
seventeen play drive and they ran the ball fourteen of
those seventeen plays. Just ate them alive on that final

(27:07):
drive and then ultimately Arizona missed their kick and their opportunity.
But if you're looking for that conference, that NFC champion
payout money, it is plus two fifty the favorite. Yeah,
so Hunter winds you two fifty there, Brady Quinn. If
you're interested, go straight to your local sports book and
make that happen. Get after a little bit. I'd recommend DraftKings.

(27:28):
But do it again. Where's the Jets on that one?
Because they got Let's see, I'm looking at the Jets
here in the a f C and they are because
I have it all, have it printed out here. Because
you can't trust the wifi's let me get to the Jets.
Hold on around, Yeah, he's just he's to hold on

(28:00):
for you're trying to get trying to get to the Jets.
Hold on hold for the three and two. Now you've
got a good versus the don't. I still don't see
him hold on the string quarterback? Fine, come on, oh,
I know the hold on They're they're on the same
page as the Texans and the Steelers. I had to

(28:21):
oh wow, oh one to win the a f C.
That's why I wasn't looking at that. I meant more like,
what's their adjusted win total? Now? Oh, I don't know,
probably to we I can. I'll look that up right
now for you. Here do we get the end? You? Oh?
Six and a half? So they're up a games. Congratulations.
The New York Jets are back, folks. They are up

(28:41):
a game. Six and a half is the over under.
It was five and a half last week. Let me
tell you something. You beat a great a third string
quarterback at home, Brady Quinn, and you bowed that entire
fan base, and apology that entire fan base, an apology
for you. The best part, Like, there's so many elements

(29:04):
to this game, the first being um Bryce Saul's beast
by the way, I mean just almost two yards himself
in that game, rushing and receiving. But it was the
first since the change of the protocol. It's the first
time we've seen a player who was taken out of
the game due to what was identified as a head
injury but pass all the concussion protocol tests, but regardless

(29:27):
of that, since they believe there's a taxia involved, right,
which is where you like lose your motor function and
stability and all that, they kept him out of the game.
So since the most recent change with the NFL n
f l p A going into this past week, Teddy
Bridgewire ends up being the first player that's held out
due to precautionary reasons with the new change. So kind

(29:48):
of an interesting note in that. Uh, and then obviously
the game swung on that, I mean once Bridgewater was out.
You know, Scott Thomas had a great preseason, but he's
a seventh round pick. He obviously he was woefully prepared
for this game, if prepared at all, and now he's
threw us I didn't have to play on the road
against the Jets team. That yeah, I mean, I think
they took advantage of some of the struggles and lack

(30:10):
of what they could do offensively, so so kudos to
them to get the third win. It's I just think
you know, people are already sending in like where's Brady Quinn.
What's he talking about? What does he got to say? Now?
What I mean this is I did have the Jets
plus three, which that was one of the the that
was like, that was one of those ones where when

(30:30):
you're listening, when you're like talking logic to a Jets fan,
it's like, hey, dude, um just say you know, I
said they wouldn't be fat or any of their first
nine games, they haven't been so far, and they were.
There were two and two playing at home, coming off
a win, still weren't favorite at home, and and look
it's a great win. I don't know that you're gonna
play against. I mean, and if you look at their schedule,

(30:51):
green Bay doesn't look as good as what we thought.
Bailey Zappy got a great win versus Detroit at home,
but that's also a third string quarterback. You just beat
a string quarterback in the division. It's one of those
deals where if you look at how it all stacks up,
you've kind of got to this point and I don't
know how much of it has been luck slash, how
much of it has been good. We'll see how things

(31:12):
playoff moving before. But the point is, even Vegas is
betting against you guys to even have a winning record
this season, not even close to a winning record. You're
just a win totals at six and a half, and
your five games in the season you're three and two.
So it's just crazy to me that Jets fans and
maybe they just are more frustrated with themselves and then
with the bookmakers. But I don't know, man, I just

(31:34):
it looks like it's an uphill battle. Still. Well, they're
gonna get slaughtered next week, so I'll go ahead and
book that now. And and I believe the betting line
has already shot up. It was at seven and a half.
I saw it at nine and a half in some
places already. So they're gonna get slaughtered next week. It's
a nice little a fresh dose of reality for the
New York Jets and their fan base. A bunch of
dormats and receipts are being laid out. God man, it's

(31:58):
receipts about the It read off just stunning, all right.
It is two pros and a cup of Joe. Here.

The Eagles are five and oh after beating the Cardinals
on the road twenty to seventeen. Vikings are four in
when they beat the Bears twenty nine to two builds
all over this Steelers thirty eight to three. Buffalos at

(33:01):
four and one, Josh Allen forward to twenty four yards,
passing four touchdowns in the win. The Jets beat the
Dolphins forty seventeen New York, snapping a twelve game a
FC East losing skid. Buccaneers beat the Falcons twenty one
to fifteen Tampa Bay, helped out by a terrible roughing
the passer call in the fourth quarter. They ran out
the clock after getting the first down. Patriots shut out
the Lions twenty nine and nothing. Chargers get by the

(33:22):
Browns thirty to twenty eight. L A went forward on
fourth and one at their own forty six yard line.
The passes incomplete, Cleveland gets the ball on the other
side of the field and they missed a fifty four
yard game when he field goal was sixteen seconds to go.
Saints out scored the Seahawks two Taysom Hill four touchdowns
for New Orleans forty niners over the Panthers thirties and fifteen.
Titans down the Commanders seventeen. Texas get their first win

(33:43):

get the are our report? All right? Lead the lap?

(36:08):
Step right up? Who explain yourself and why you were
wearing sunglasses inside and drinking out of a paint can
of margarita earlier on the weekend in Las Vegas Jimmy
Buffett Saturday. Yeah, well we had to start at Margaritaville.
We probably circled there a couple of times at night.
Actually about a brady multiple trips to Margaritaville there for

(36:31):
your guy. Uh yeah, Mr in Las Vegas. Yeah, it
could be the furthest thing from Margaritaville, Jimmy Buffett, I
mean as far as the desert versus Key West, but yeah, sure,
whatever you want. Many how bad did they get? Lee?
I mean I saw some receipts as as we have

(36:52):
been putting out here since the Jets Robert coach. You know,
how how would you describe yourself? Would you describe yourself as?
What kind of drunk are you? I'm getting a sense
like things get a little crazy, you know, it gets dark, sloppy, sloppy,

(37:15):
I wasn't called sloppy, little coherent, maybe a little time
traveling coherent. Sudley. What time did you get there on Friday?
Eleven am? Yeah? About eleven am. Had to sit on
the tar back for an hour and a half. Why,
I don't know, frontier whatever. We're just hanging out, all right.
So we're on the tar back more than we were
in the air. Alright. So so by the time you

(37:37):
got out and did you was it all carry on?
Did you have to check a bag or anything like
that or how did that? No? No, checked in and
put it all in a laptop, suitcase, got my three
button up tommy bahamas, my shorts, good to go and
uh and so when you got there, how soon into
getting to the hotel, did you grab a drink? Oh?

(37:58):
We were picked up and there was beers in the car.
Are ready for us? Very good? All right? So in
the back of the truck? Not not well? Not well driving? Okay? Well,
I mean while driving, but you weren't the driver, this
is true? Okay, Yeah, how about saying are you allowed
to do that? No, you're not. Thank you weren't drunk driving,

(38:20):
but you know, and so aren't you allowed to drink
in a limo? Um? I think that's different because technically
it's a professional driver and you're like, you know, but
in a cab in Vegas, can't you? I mean you
can't drink outside in Vegas? Ye? Vegas a little different.
I mean you can drink anywhere you want. In Vegas.

(38:41):
It's really anywhere you want. You walk on the street
and have a beer and do whatever you want. It's
great anywhere. Um, pretty a little while beer in the
trunk tank too? No, probably not, although I'm sure you
could probably get one, and I'm sure he could probably
get a few in Now solely were you drunk by
noon on Friday? I was definitely toasty. I was getting there,

(39:02):
It's like, but you hadn't slept yet. That's true. Okay,
I got most of my sleeping on the plane. What
do you mean it's a forty five minute flighty alright,
you slept forty five minutes and you drank for hours
upon hours and then how late were you up on Friday?
For How long did you do it for? Like? How
how many days in a row did you drink like hard?

(39:25):
I was making up for lost time Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
It's not before the afternoon games. What were you what
were you drinking? Well, got the Margarita's, Margarite, I saw Margarita's.
I think there was a JMO bottle just in the
room was getting bang. But what do you mean? What

(39:46):
do you mean do you think there was one in
the room? You brought it? Well, somebody had a Jamo,
somebody had the other room, and so you were here
drank both. You gotta do what you gotta do. That
is not what you do, not mix. Hold, let me
ask you a question I probably should ask this to start.

(40:06):
Is there a certain somebody listening? And this is why
you're a little bit hesitant to be open about it. Okay,
I just want to make sure. I want to make
sure we're not beyond the I R all right, well listen,
he got it. He got it done. I mean that's there.
You go leet, you know, as so as you get
home playing hurt. But he's good and found some chips

(40:28):
in my pocket, lost us, lost my sweater, but I'm good, alright.
Fact with a lot of sweater with a tiger in
the room, and sweater have any sentimental value? My favorite hoodie?
How did you lose it? I think I just I
think I just left in the airport, airpist at it down.
I just I feel like we're not getting the full story.

(40:51):
Were you drunk in the airport and not realizing like
where you were? Yeah, yeah, I think I had it
like out of my bag and then just just it's
slip the way that's slipped away. Do you need like
a babysitter with you when you go out and party?
Am animated back, his hair is still intoxicated. His hair

(41:14):
is gonna have to do a d u I test.
