Come on, var the one sixth down the Bone, Whizy
going down the avenue, Rendie vussus, rendez vu yo skirt chap. Yeah,
what's that? Straight from Beverrett's Chicken Baby Kevick Perry. Yeah,
it's burn cherry. You're Ritish?

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Yeah, Okay, there you go. That's all.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Get that cherry red. It is Two Pros Cup of
Joe here on Fox.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
Shots out the Rendezvous.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
What up sus?

Speaker 5 (01:11):
They probably still going.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
By the way. There was when I lived in Charleston,
there was a place right up the road for me,
and I didn't know the area at all. One of
my first nights there, this place is called Rendezvous and
so I went over there and oh, you know, it's
Friday night. Go see what it's like. Yeah, I did
not look like anybody in there. I'll just put it
that way. It was a different, different atmosphere altogether. But

(01:35):
you know what, it was cool.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
And Jones just was it like was it like cherry bread?

Speaker 6 (01:43):
It was?

Speaker 2 (01:44):
It was like walking in like was it like the
scene in Police Academy Oyster when you uh walk in
and down?

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Why did I pull that out so quickly?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
And the record player skipped because I you could tell
definitely you was.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
You were, so it was like kind of like you
were like going to play basketball at Georgetown.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yes, that is that is correct. Yes, but a good time, man,
I hung out.

Speaker 5 (02:13):
You know, it was a good time though.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I hung out. I had some beers, you know.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Medical So the record started playing again. They start spending again,
like you know what, you know that.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
You're welcomed and and that you know, maybe.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
You got some collar greens while you were there.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
You know, it got it was getting a little dicey there.
They asked what my brother's first name was, and I
told him and then everything was fine.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
So, okay, tell them what your brother's name is. Tyrone.
There you go.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
So it's first name.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Yeah, put up, Chopper, What up got to be?

Speaker 4 (02:46):
You got to be a cold piece to rock that
where y'all where y'all y'all be?

Speaker 5 (02:54):
What you said by that?

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Yeah, some dope day, some dope dudes man rolling with that?
Tyrone him like, man.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Bro, okay, all right, that's what the song was. I
had never heard of that song. And Petros when I
was working with him one day, he was asking me
about my brother and I said, yeah, my brother and
Brady's dad of the same name, Tyrone, And he started.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Saying, it is pretty I mean, that's pretty ironic, man,
And I mean Tyrone, of all names, is the name
that you and your your brother, your dad shared.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
It's kind of that's kind of wild man.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Who if me, if me and Plexico had a cousin
or a brother and a dad that shared the same name, Tyrone,
it would be like nobody even like twice about it.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
What do you mean by that?

Speaker 5 (03:43):
Yeah? But I mean just the idea that that you
guys have that in common is is just amazing to me.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I brought it up to I brought it up to
Chopper when I met him, and I said, well, this
is not initially when I met him, because he's you know, no,
I've heard stories and I don't want to piss him off.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
And so later on when we were all hanging out,
you don't want to make Chopper.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
It was post around. Everybody's having beers and like four
thousand boneless wings from this place called roosters, which I
don't know why I still remember it. I just know
I had like thirty five of them, and we're sitting
there talking the unbelievable sounds good. I don't know that
those made it out of there. I think they got
wiped out.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
But I'm in the bone end though. But go ahead.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Well it's just easy, like you're just sitting there picking
at him, you know, you just it's like plopcorn at
that point. Yeah, but I asked, I asked Chopper. I said, hey,
can I ask you a question? He goes, sure, it's
up Chop. I said, so, my brother's name is also Tyrone.
Would you get upset if I threw that at you
from time to time? He said, nah, You're fine. I said, okay, cool,

(04:46):
Well it felt like I was I was part of
the part of the family at that point that I can.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
What does he look like like? Does he look like
you like? Is he as tall as you is? He
has like build as you like?

Speaker 5 (04:56):
What does he look like? He was? He was definitely
a bill.

Speaker 7 (04:58):
I mean he's seventy four now, so he's not quite
his pill, but for like that age, he's he's still
strong man. He still he still works out, works and everything.
But he uh yeah, I mean he was. He was
a good looking dude. I mean, that's my mom. I
think my mom actually was the one that hit on
him initially this year.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
I mean, they gotta be like, sometimes two people make
a really really good looking kid, but more often than not,
when a kid is a good looking kid, it's because
they got at least one good looking parent.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
So what are you saying about, Brady? What are you
getting at that?

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (05:33):
Man?

Speaker 4 (05:33):
I mean, they either are really really good looking people,
or one of them is really good looking, or they
both really really are not good looking at all, and
just they produce something just amazing. Like it's it's one
of those options. And I'm not trying to be offensive,
but I'm just saying that's just how it works out.

(05:53):
You'll see somebody you be like, oh goshul and then
you see their kid, You're like, they're gorgeous. It's a
gorgeous kid. Like, look at your kid, and they're like,
why you keep saying my kid is gorgeous?

Speaker 5 (06:04):
Kiding. I'm sitting there in my head because you're not can.

Speaker 6 (06:08):
We find that song? Do we even have that song
in this Yeah?

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Is it?

Speaker 6 (06:11):
Lauren?

Speaker 4 (06:13):
No?

Speaker 2 (06:16):
I mean, come on, you know what I man?

Speaker 5 (06:19):
I mean, Berto should have hit the button on you, right?

Speaker 6 (06:22):
What do you mean?

Speaker 5 (06:22):
You know what I mean? Because basically what.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
You just tried to say is how is that racist?

Speaker 5 (06:27):
You just basically tried to say every good singer of
that genre looks alike.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
That's not I mean that that right there is insulting.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
Heard what he said?

Speaker 2 (06:40):
By the way, Uh, Berta doesn't need to get the song.
He's got it on his phone. Don't worry about it.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
He's got that is funny.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
It's already that is funny. He's already booked marked on
his YouTube.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
He's good. Yeah, yeah, they made that for y'all.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Wait did she wait? Did that is that the unedited version?

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Okay that.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
We never we never got to the park.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Go to the hook, just go to the fast boat
to the hook.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Hit the course. Please if you could find.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
What's happening in there today.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
I mean, you're right, what do I here?

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Eric?

Speaker 2 (07:24):
And who's gotten dumbed? I mean, what are you getting that?

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Burn?

Speaker 5 (07:34):
There?

Speaker 2 (07:34):
You go, there, you.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
Go there it is, yeah, they ain't.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
And then you see Chopper come chop put.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
Out the vibe at the bar, walking in the door
with his with his jacket over his shoulder.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Just yeah, a nod.

Speaker 6 (07:59):
Uh, that's weird.

Speaker 8 (08:02):
It is.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
On the table. A nod.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
The tyrone not name only. So okay, all right, if
we get it all right, So it is two pros
and a cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.
By the way, we are bringing the show to you
live here from the ti rack dot com studios ti
rack dot com. We'll help you get there an unmatched election,

(08:33):
fast free shipping, free road as a protection, and over
ten thousand recommended installers tire rack dot com the way
tire buying should be. Can we just before we uh,
I know, we mentioned this and we teased somebody's excuse
in the NFL. We're going to get to that. That'll
come up in like ten minutes from now, but you know,
can we just talk about one of the most impressive

(08:53):
performances in recent history in the world of sports. I mean,
just do you talk about an unbelievable round of golf
that took place? And you're probably thinking, are we going
to talk about Harry Hall, who's leading at the Charles
Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth? It's like, no, why would
we talk about the leader on this show. In the

(09:14):
words of the great Ben Mallor, the best story is
always in the losing locker room. Get a whiff of
Michael Block, everybody's favorite, who is sitting at plus eleven
after a seven bogie first round at the Charles Schwab
tournament there in Fort Worth? Lee, can we hear from
Michael Block following the performance of a lifetime which apparently

(09:37):
meant he shot left handed. Let's hear from Michael Block.

Speaker 9 (09:41):
Today coming out here and not having my game at
all and having a lot of bad luck or whatever
you might call it, Just call it golf.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
And so it is what it is.

Speaker 9 (09:49):
And at the same time I sat there and I
thought about it. I said, I'm gonna see my boys
tomorrow night. I'm looking forward to coming out tomorrow playing
a great round.

Speaker 6 (10:04):
Give me everything.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
I have.

Speaker 9 (10:06):
I've shot fifty eight and I've shot a fifty nine
in my life, and since what I had today, I
wouldn't be surprised if I did it.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
So if I do, cool, If not, I'll be cheering
in to my.

Speaker 9 (10:18):
Kids and my wife tomorrow morning or tomorrow night in
Orange County, California.

Speaker 6 (10:21):
So it's all good one way or the other.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
Oh see, now some people.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Something tells me that the people at Colonial Country Club
are hoping he would be cheersing with him a lot
earlier than that if he's got to put up plus
eleven on in the first round.

Speaker 7 (10:36):
Well, okay, let's just acknowledge a few things. Here's what
happens in golf. Which, by the way, Michael Blocks.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
A good golfer.

Speaker 7 (10:44):
All right, come on, vernout he's he's a good golfer.
Is he a guy that can make the PGA Tour. No,
he's tried, And as anyone who plays golf knows, you
can go up to a tournament and play phenomenal and
he did.

Speaker 6 (11:02):
He finished top fifteen in the PGA Championship. But that's
probably the peak.

Speaker 7 (11:07):
And yet everyone wants to and you could like John Rahm,
who didn't make the cut and he ended up they
ended up uh, or maybe he made the Cup but
didn't didn't play, didn't play great. He hung around to
kind of do some of the broadcast and talk, and
you could tell, like even John Rahm, the way he
talked about it is like it was special, it was cool,
but he was it was measured in the hype that

(11:28):
he wasn't going to buy all into this being this
Kevin Costner ten Cup character that's all of a sudden
gonna make his way and make it burn this path on.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
The PGA Tour.

Speaker 7 (11:38):
And I don't know if this is in part because
the PGA Tour feels like they need stories like this
to try to surround themselves with because of the pressure
from the live tour and and what was like what
kind of flew under the radars the fact that who
won the PGA Championship It was Brooks Koepka, It was
a live tour player. And you hear Phil Miglelson sound

(12:00):
off basically saying, look, I've tried to tell you guys,
the live tours better suited for these guys to go
and play enough to get themselves ready ready for the
majors because the majors.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
They don't. They don't.

Speaker 7 (12:13):
You know a lot of these guys have already qualified
or they's got exemptions so they can play in them.
And he's like, and it gives them a better chance
to perform in the majors and still make a ton
of money and play golf and have fun, and it
accomplishes everything they're hoping to get out of it. That's
the narrative that the PGA Tour doesn't want to get
out there. But to what they did was they're like,
let's focus on Michael Block. And obviously the hole in

(12:35):
one was an incredible moment, but the truth is he's
been going after and playing golf for a while. You know,
he's he's attempted to try to make cuts this year.
He played in a tournament in jan You're playing in
two tournaments in January. Didn't make either of the cuts
in those two. So it's not like he's like some

(12:56):
new character to golf. It's just he's he was a
new player to everyone else in the national public who
didn't really know his story in his path, and it
doesn't take away from what he did the PGA Championship.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
It's a great story, but the PGA Championship.

Speaker 7 (13:11):
In and of itself, his play was a great story.
But now there's people who are like, they're inviting him
to these different events. You're going, dude, he couldn't. He
already couldn't make the events. He's been trying at this
for years. It's not like all of a sudden he
found some magic. And as evidence of that, he not
only is dead last after the first round, but he's
what four strokes back for the next guy.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (13:31):
I mean, there's clear separation between his game and everyone else.
And I think that's one of the reasons when I
was watching during the PGA Championship and listen to John
Ram talk, he was just a little more measured with
the hype around it, even though the TV networks are
obviously trying to distract from anything else that's going on
between the PGA Tour and the live tour and the
fact that a live tour player and books Kepta won.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
And look him getting emotional going to see his kids
in his family that you know, we can sit here
and bust balls. That's that's awesome. That he's going to
go back home see his family, and it's great, But
it does feel like this is one of those stories
where we get it, and now at this point it's
being forced down our throats, like it just feels like
it's being pushed out there too much. And I just wonder,
if you know, like why can't we celebrate the story,

(14:18):
but to your point, have it be measured and then
you know, he comes back, who knows, maybe another tournament
sometime down the road, he can he's a better golfer
than any one of us, and and that's you know,
that's noted and all respect, but come on, man, at
this point, like, let's let's move on.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
We get it. It's over.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Great story, but it's time.

Speaker 7 (14:38):
It was lightning in a bottle, all right. We were
able to capitalize on that. It was a great story.
We don't need to continue to perpetuate this, like he's
not all of a sudden going to be a top
twenty player in the tour. He probably won't get his
tour card, even though he will be able to come
back to the PGA Championship next year. So we'll be
reminded because during the major event like that, they'll tell
the story once again.

Speaker 5 (14:59):
And also it's good's got a hell of a last name, though,
I mean.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah, Michael Block, Yeah, Walk, it's good.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Name and it ain't as good as Tyrone, but talk
is pretty dope for last name.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
But what is what is as good as Tyrone?

Speaker 5 (15:13):
You know?

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Sheeez vere Yes it does. It is Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe Here on Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with there. All right, So coming
up next, we're going to find out whether or not
we are buying one excuse given from one NFL player,
and it's yours here on FSR.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Comeing
up later on this hour, about twenty minutes from now,
we are going to have another edition of over Unders
as we get you said for a wild weekend in
the world of sports and beyond. So that'll be yours
here from the ti raq dot Com studios. So Jamison Williams,
the stud wide receiver from the Alabama Crimson Tide. Now

(16:13):
remember the Detroit Lions. He was part of that wide
receiver run in the draft back in twenty twenty two.
Was there like five in a row or something like that,
or was that this year? There was a run in
the draft in twenty twenty two and then.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Also this year probably the past two years.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Yeah, and so the Detroit Lions drafted him. He only
played a couple of games last year, but he did
show signs of, you know, some promise there coming off
the knee injury you suffered late in the Alabama season.
And well he's going to miss more time. For those
of you that aren't familiar with the story, because apparently,
you know, alecks to gamble a little bit. He was
caught as one of those players that was gambling on

(16:50):
team at the team facility. So you got pop six
games for gambling on what is being called college football games.
And so Jamison william spoke with the media yesterday for
the first time and tried to explain sort of his
mindset and what actually happened.

Speaker 10 (17:07):
Would learned from whole experience, just make the right decisions,
you know, there was something that I wasn't aware of.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
Would call me. Uh, it was just make the right decisions.
Do you think it's raising awareness? But other players like to, Oh.

Speaker 10 (17:20):
Yeah for sure, because like like I said, hit me
out the blue, and he hit a couple other players
around the league and on my team out the blue.
I wasn't aware of this situation. But as it happened,
like I said, I took it on the team. I
was ready to move forward. As things move on, I
got the consequences. So that's that's been my whole plan,
moving forward from things and.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
You know, just looking at the better days. So he
wasn't aware that there was something wrong there.

Speaker 5 (17:45):
You know that you couldn't gamble on college even though
he wasn't in college anymore.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
Correct, and you know he tries to parlay Hawaii in
the over late night.

Speaker 7 (17:52):
And apparently I'll say this much any player that says
that they literally must fall asleep from the time the
end or college to the I'm during the NFL, during
every one of the meetings that discusses the fact that
you can't gamble. You even I think you've sign at
the college level, you sign some sort of you know,
Form two and I know you do at the NFL

(18:13):
level that talks about this. So the NFLPA does a
good job in informing the players of this. They do
this as soon as you walk in the door as
a rookie, and at the college level they're even starting
to now. So any player that says that it's an excuse, okay,
or they just they must literally not pay any attention
to what anyone says outside of you know, their football meetings,

(18:36):
because it is well known and every player is informed
of it as far as what you.

Speaker 6 (18:41):
Can and what you can. Even as a broadcaster, we're
informed of it.

Speaker 7 (18:45):
And it's just as I've said that Jonas before, like
it is not worth the risk of a broadcaster someone
who gets to call games or might just have the
chance of calling games, to potentially put yourself at risk
for having insider information, is how they describe it. Because
you know about injuries, you know about scheme before the
general public does.

Speaker 5 (19:03):
Have all got to go through.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
You've got to have a fall guy.

Speaker 6 (19:08):
Well I'm not sure that's so much.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Kind of it kind of is have your fall guy
doing the doing the bets. Like if you need to
get a gambling fix, have your people do do the
bets you need a runner, like why are you? I'll
never understand is the idea of winning based off of

(19:33):
once you win, you don't want nobody to have access
to your money when that happens. Because if you give
the bet to someone else to to place for you
and you're not connected to it, you don't even have
to deal with this, Like that's like the easiest loophole
ever if you ask me, so, why are you the

(19:54):
one that's doing it whether you're whether you're aware of
it or not, Like what are you gambling for as
a as an active athlete?

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Because sometimes it's fun to cook at home. You know
you're not a master chef, but sometimes it's fun to
open the grill.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
Take that recipe and give it to somebody else to
cook it, and and and and you know what, if
it's as good as you think it is, it's going
to taste exactly the same from somebody else cooking it,
bottom line, And if it and even if it doesn't,
you you don't have to worry about any type of
repercussions or consequences to you doing it, Like have somebody

(20:34):
else do it? If that's if you got in your
mind I'm gambling, Like no questions asked, you know, like
I could see if a substance, right, like like Josh
Gordon couldn't get out of the way of you know,
is that the kid that kept.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
Popping for the wide receiver?

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (20:56):
I think he was in like the XFL or something.
Someone had the rights to him. He was like in
a practice squad maybe a year or two ago. Yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (21:04):
Can we look that up league we have for that.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
You can't get out of the way of substance abuse, right,
You can't have a fall guy for substance abuse. So
I understand if you okay, I didn't know or this,
that and the other, but that crack was good, Like
what smoke crack, don't you right? So my whole thing is,
you can't get out of the way a substance, but
you can get out of the way of gambling. Man,

(21:28):
if you have a gambling addiction, like be addicted through
someone else.

Speaker 6 (21:33):
Have an update on Josh Gordon, have an update.

Speaker 11 (21:36):
I do as well.

Speaker 8 (21:37):
He was a Tennessee Titan in the NFL, but more
recently he's actually a Seattle Sea Dragon.

Speaker 7 (21:42):
This year he was a Titan last year, a Seattle
Sea Dragon. That's an XFL team.

Speaker 5 (21:48):
Yeah, yeah, that's what I thought.

Speaker 6 (21:50):
Or it could be what someone might encounter while in Seattle.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Yeah, oh wow, that is true all that? Well yeah,
well yeah, excuse me, sir, Are you right in an elephant? No,
that's okay. Do you guys believe that six games is

(22:19):
in okay suspension for a guy who bet on college football?

Speaker 6 (22:24):
No, which is why I've told you they need to
change the policy for betting.

Speaker 7 (22:29):
And clearly, I think I've got to go back through
it and help educate players on this because it's it's
still an issue, but they need to change the policy.
They shouldn't be this punitive for you know, other sports
in college and all that. It's just it's not realistic.
You can't be as hypocritical as the NFL is when
you're taking money from all these gambling partners and then

(22:50):
excluding the ability of any you know, NFL player from
placing bets on stuff. And look, I understand in the
confines of a facility they want to limit that. And
that's not only for players. That might be for coaches
and front office folks as well. And that's fine, but
they've they've got to do something where they reduce is now.
I will say this, if someone gets caught for gamming

(23:13):
on NFL games like Calvin Ridley did, that's the punishment
you see for you should see for strike one an
entire season, you're you know, you're gonna be suspended, and
the second one you're banished.

Speaker 6 (23:24):
You can't come back and do it again. Because it's
too important to the.

Speaker 7 (23:27):
Integrity of the league to be able to not have
this thought that players are potentially fixing games, especially like
meaningless games where it's the end of the season, a
team's not in position to, you know, go to the playoffs.
You would think there might be a lot of guys
who are on the take, and that would be a
big time concern. So they've got to hammer that as

(23:48):
best they can. But when it comes to other sports,
I mean, come on, it's just it's unrealistic. And as
I've said before, it's always existed in maybe a fantasy
you know, baseball, basketball form. I remember being on teams
where guys had a pool and they had a whole
fantasy league March madness. It's always existed in the offseason,
having some sort of betting pool for that you know, right,

(24:09):
wrong or indifferent.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
It's just it's a part of sports.

Speaker 7 (24:12):
It's a part of our society now more so than ever,
and so you've got to you've got to revamp the
gambling policies for players.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
And fantasy football is gambling, and there are really fantasy. Yes,
daily fantasy is absolutely gambling because you can identify what
player you think is going to have a good game,
and then you can pick that guy for your team
and you're using money to wager on whether or not
the guy's going to have a good performance. That's gambling.
That's like an over under that we do are on
the show. That's That's exactly what that is. So I

(24:40):
just see. I think the NFL should do this, all right,
tell me if you guys are on board with it.
I believe that the punishment, you know, for NFL games,
I get it. I still think a year is a lot,
especially considering Calvin Ridley. There were a couple of seven
game parlays which never hit anyways. But if a player decides, hey,
I got some real love for my alma mater and

(25:01):
I want to bet on my alma mater. Like if
Joe Burrow decides, hey, I want to bet on some
LSU games. I really like what Brian Kelly's done. He's
fixed his accent. I feel like we're going to make
a run at the national title. I think the suspension
should be only applied if you lose the bet, because
that way, what you're doing is you're training to be
a better gambler at the same time letting people know

(25:24):
there's also risk that comes along with it. So super Yes,
Jamison Williams may have bet like the over on the
Iowa Minnesota game last year, which was like thirty one
or thirty one and a half, and if that's the case,
under he deserves a full year suspension. Like if you
bet any Iowa over, you deserve a full year suspension.

(25:45):
It was like, you know, him betting Penn State against
Illinois a couple of years ago when neither team wanted
to score on a two point conversion. You know, like,
if he's betting on a game like that and he loses,
he deserves to be punished. But if you win the bet,
I think you should be celebrated for it. It's tough
to win bets. I can attest to that. That's my proposal.

Speaker 7 (26:04):
It's it's an interesting proposal, that's for sure. I'm not
sure they're going to take that into a consideration, but yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
But can I also give you credit, though, Brady, because
I really I've tried.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
I think you could bet off of that though, What
do you mean?

Speaker 4 (26:18):
You could create betting polls like once once once it
like shows that one of these guys made made that bet.
Now you can start placing bets on if they're going
to win or lose. Right, Yeah, it creates a whole
new revenue stream if you really do it.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
It does the levels to this because I I really
want to know because it was you talked about, you know,
people in the front office. So the Lions had staffers
that were fired. They had other players that also got popped.
Like I wanted to know what sort of gambling ring
was going on there in Detroit, Like what were they
betting on? Were They're all sitting around on a Saturday
getting their knee ice and they said, man, oh man,

(26:54):
the Big twelve is off and running. We'll take the
over on that game. We'll take Like I just I
want to know what they bet on. But to give
Brady a little bit of credit here, I've tried to
get him to gamble with me. Won't do it professional
through and through, not going to discredit his integrity.

Speaker 6 (27:12):
I'm telling it he's not.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
But he's able to live vicariously through me. As I
drive right into a ditch every time I open up
and decide I want to place a wager on something.
I gave him a voice note the other night, I
said the Carolina Hurricanes minus one oh five on the
money line. I guess what happened? They lost. Everything's odd.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
When I looked that up, I didn't. Maybe I had
a mixed up. Maybe it was minus one oh five
because I think I was looking at the Panthers. But boy,
that hasn't worked out well for you.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
No, you know what?

Speaker 7 (27:42):
You know what Jonahs does, LeVar, He really tries to
fade any team that I'm rooting for. Yes, So that's
where the whole Boston Miami series too, Like he does
not want everyone in South Florida to enjoy in Jimmy
Butler in the Miami Heat, that's correct, and making it
too that to the NBA Finals.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
That's great.

Speaker 7 (27:58):
He's trying to throw that in room face. So for
those of you that are listening in the South Florida, area.
I just want to I want to send out a
call to action. Yeah, I would love to take a
segment this Friday, all right, as most people, by the way,
have probably packed it in on a Friday, right, they're
going to work. But you're not mentally now this holiday week, Yeah,
not happening. Some of you might have taken today off,
by the way. I made it a four day, which
is a brilliant move if you did. But here's what

(28:20):
I want to do the next hour. Can we open
it up, open up some of the phone lines. Have
some folks call in and if you want to just
tell Jonas why he's wrong about Boston being able to
win this series versus Miami.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
I would love to hear that.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
I never said that they were going to win this series.
I'm just saying things have got a little spicy there
for the heat in South Beach, that's all. That's all.
That was my only, my only point. That and the
fact that you know, maybe possibly Joe Missoula might have
saved his job the past two games. I also, I
would just like to say, you know, my my gambling.
You know, yes, it could be a little bit of

(28:54):
an issue and a little bit of a problem. But
you know what, my willingness to get back up and
answer the bell every single time, I think that that
should be commended.

Speaker 5 (29:04):
Here at some point it should be Yeah, I'm with
you there.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Yeah, I just want to know what I just want
to know what games these guys are betting on. That's
all I want to know. I'm just fascinated to see
how much of a degenerate these players are.

Speaker 5 (29:15):
In the NFL.

I have been losing you know, you Alan low life
gamble the January, it's over.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
Under all right, lead to lap. How do we do
last week?

Speaker 11 (31:02):
It was a close one last week, Fellas.

Speaker 8 (31:03):
We had opened up with the heat at Celtics game
two last Friday, and we had asked Jimmy Butler over
under points, rebounds and assists combined forty and a half.
He had twenty seven points, eight rebounds, and six assists
for a total of forty one.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Unbelievable. How they get that right?

Speaker 8 (31:21):
Just hitting the over, Brady and LaVar, you took round
one on that one. We also went onto Nuggets at
Lakers game three, asking the same question for Jokic points,
rebounds and assists over under fifty two and a half.
He hit the under on that one with twenty four points,
six rebounds, eight assists. All of you guys hit the
under on that one. Good job everybody.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (31:41):
We went on to NHL Stanley Cup playoff. We went
to Stars at Golden Knights game one over under points
and that was five and a half. LeVar, you were
the lone one to take the over Las Vegas one
game three.

Speaker 5 (31:54):
Good job, LaVar.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
So LaVar wanted low scoring. Why does he get rewarded
for being negative. Brady and I tried to be positive
about the number of goals scored. Do we get punished
for it?

Speaker 4 (32:03):
That was just all of my prep work, you know
what I mean, like all the time and energy I
did researching and the research team so that I had
thanks to you guys, you know, shots out to you guys,
y'all keep me on research. Yeah, yeah, so thanks, you know,
just it paid off in that one.

Speaker 11 (32:19):
You guys, we had the Preakness last weekend.

Speaker 8 (32:23):
We asked post position for the winner of the Preakness
over under set at four and a half and as
we all know, number one National Treasure one and Brady,
you took the under on that one.

Speaker 11 (32:32):
Good job, ye.

Speaker 7 (32:35):
I mean, honestly, when I heard the name National Treasure,
I've really thought of one of the all time great actors,
Nikki Kid, you know, in the series of Isn't.

Speaker 6 (32:44):
It as a National Treasure? Is that the series of movies?

Speaker 5 (32:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (32:48):
Correct, Yeah, I mean that's just that's who it comes
to mind. I think he's one of the greatest actors
of all times. He's just he's got so much depth
in his role, range, variety and range.

Speaker 6 (33:01):
I mean, he's just he's a talented, talented dude.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Yeah, tough to pull off that that weirdo alcoholic role
in leaving Las Vegas. Tough move there.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:09):
Well then he played himself and in one of my
most recent films, which.

Speaker 5 (33:13):
Was pretty interesting.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Again, it's always tough. What else?

Speaker 11 (33:18):
See last one? Here you guys.

Speaker 8 (33:19):
From last week, we had Hainy versus Loma over. Under
was set at ten and a half rounds. Oh no,
Jonas and LeVar. You guys took the over. It was
a unanimous decision. Good job you guys.

Speaker 5 (33:30):
Yeah, we do controversial tie.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
Oh.

Speaker 8 (33:37):
So the results last week LeVar again continuing to streak
four and one. Brady, you came in second, three to Jonas,
rounding out two and three.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Right here, Lee got it right here. I got you
two and three right here, buddy, Thank you Jones.

Speaker 5 (33:51):
All right, what do we got?

Speaker 3 (33:51):
All right?

Speaker 5 (33:52):
Guys?

Speaker 3 (33:52):
Onto this week?

Speaker 8 (33:52):
We got games remaining in the Eastern Conference Finals in
the NBA one and a half.

Speaker 7 (33:57):
I'm gonna go with the under, baby, come on, heat,
let's go. Let's go all the line for game six.

Speaker 5 (34:02):
Let's go, Fellas, I had a bun you want to
say notes here?

Speaker 2 (34:08):
Let me can I just go over my notes real quick,
Lebar you.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
Can go first one and a half.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
Take the over, Lee, I'm gonna take the over here
based on my research.

Speaker 5 (34:25):
That's That's about how that sounded.

Speaker 8 (34:29):
Jason Tatum in this game over under, unhelieve points rebounds
in can't you believe we're actually considered adults while we
do the show fart noises.

Speaker 5 (34:40):
And crazy people don't? Some people don't consider us adults? Yea.

Speaker 8 (34:44):
To be honest, I need to say points, rebounds, and
assists for Jason Tatum in Game six is set at
forty six and a half.

Speaker 7 (34:50):
Good God, really, well, he'll get in the thirties probably
he's been I'm gonna take that out there. I think
I'm gonna take the under two although he's actually a
sneaky good rebounder.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
Yeah, he's just so inconsistent lately at least. I just
I'm gonna take the under.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
You know, Lee, I'm gonna take the under take the
over on this based on my research that I went
over here.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
Yeah, did you have me more of that research?

Speaker 5 (35:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:16):
They shouldn't get righty?

Speaker 10 (35:18):
Well?

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Let me oh, yeah, correct, I'll take the over on that.

Speaker 8 (35:24):
League guys, NHL playoffs games remaining in the West Finals
one and a half between the Stars and Golden Knights.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Under, let's go wrap it up.

Speaker 5 (35:34):
Let's wrap it up.

Speaker 7 (35:34):
That's seriously, I'll take the under this thing over there,
come on, man, like it's it's it's probably improbable that
the Dallas would come back.

Speaker 5 (35:42):
So yeah, I'm gonna take the under two on this.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Well, the Joe Pavelski, who's like ninety two, just keep
scoring goals in the playoffs. He's got like seventy something
goals in the postseason, the.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
Most ever, I believe.

Speaker 11 (35:54):
Yeah, for active Claire guys, we talked about Michael Block.

Speaker 8 (35:59):
He's currently plus eleven over under on his score at
the end of the round today.

Speaker 11 (36:05):
Plus eight and a half over.

Speaker 6 (36:08):
You're saying for is just the round two round or
his total?

Speaker 11 (36:11):
Is his total at the end of today.

Speaker 7 (36:13):
Oh, so you think he's gonna he just went plus eleven.
Do you think he's gonna go three under that?

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Correct? I mean, according to him, he's capable of that.
He shout, I'm gonna I'll take the over as well too,
because I'm over him.

Speaker 5 (36:26):
Oh wow about that.

Speaker 8 (36:28):
Lastly, Fellas the Coca Cola six hundred at the Charlotte
Motor Speedway on Sunday on Fox.

Speaker 11 (36:33):
Yeah, winning race car driver.

Speaker 5 (36:35):
Even or on even Jonas is Odd. I'm gone. I
always go Odd.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
I like, yeah, Denny Hamlin's ability and some of the
on the traffic, Big Denny Hamlin guy, he won lesser. Yeah,
I mean I knew that, Lee, of course, I knew that.
I'm gonna go with Uh. I'm gonna go with Odd
here because he drives the eleven car. You know what
else is eleven sticks.

Speaker 5 (37:03):
It's a place, it is.
