(01:02):
We're gonna have the very latest on the Deshaun Watson
saga here coming up in just a couple of moments
from now, but let's turn it over to Eddie Garcia
for some breaking news. Breaking news from Fox Sports. Yeah,
and Dustin Johnson announcing earlier today that he has resigned
from the PGA Tour, former world number one player, two

(01:23):
time major winner, making the announcement prior to competing in
the Saudi Back to l I V Golf event over
in England. Uh. That announcement means that he will no
longer be alable to complete in the Ryder Cup. Uh
and also obviously not competing in any PGA Tour events.
He still would be avilable though, to compete in the
major tournaments because those are not run by the PGA Tour.

(01:45):
But again, Dustin Johnson, former number one of the world,
two time major winner, is resigned from the PGA Tour. Jeez. Uh,
so he got what two hundred million dollars from the
from the Live Tour. I thought I saw one, but
maybe it was two. I don't know. I mean, these
guys are getting paid. Phil Mickelson came out and obviously

(02:05):
made the decision to return this weekend. Um. Let me,
it's just so I have a clear understanding of this,
because I'm a little confused and maybe Brady, you would
know this better than me. But is this is the
pushback because it's Saudi money that is king this, Yeah,
the biggest, the biggest. Uh. I think it's certain about it.

(02:27):
And this all came up in particular with Phil Michelson,
who had had made some comments. Now there's there's a
lot to the Phil Nicholson's story, okay uh, and we
can touch on that, but it's it really has everything
to do with the fact that it's backed by by
Saudi money. And there's a thought too that maybe all
that money is not that clean, okay uh. And then

(02:48):
especially with the way some things are handled there in
Saudi Arabia. So that's that's the thoughts to it. But
I mean, you're talking about guys being offered nine figure deals.
It's astronomical. Greg Norman talked about it and he said
they offered tiger wood Woods close to a billion. He said,
like he said, high nine figures was what Tiger Woods

(03:12):
was offered to be a part of this. So, whether
it's Dustin Johnson or Phil Mickelson or whoever else, it's
tough to turn down. You know, Like I've said this before,
like when you're when when money that's generational wealth that changes,
like for the rest of your lifetime, the lifetime after you,
the lifetime after lifetime after that. It's it's hard not

(03:34):
to look at that and go, I need to give
this some serious thought and consideration. Um, even with all
the concerns. Now, the Michaelson situation is a little different because,
as we've seen from some of the reports, he had
some serious gambling debt. Now he's in a much better
spot now, admittedly so after therapy and his family and
him working through it. But there was a thought too

(03:57):
that like, why would he want to leave the PGA
Tour and go to this given how good the tour
has been to him, And when you come to find
out how much debt he was in, it starts to
make some sense. Um. But yeah, it's look at this
is a legit competitor right now at the PGA Tour,
they're starting to take player after player after player. The
question becomes, you know, how much money do they have

(04:18):
to bring all these guys in on these sorts of deals.
And then will these players go over there and enjoy
the experience and want to come back, or or are
they going to sit there and be and say, hey,
this actually isn't a bad idea for all of us
who are in the golf world to maybe, you know,
give the PGA to a little bit more competition. So
the w w E goes to Saudi Arabia a couple

(04:39):
of times a year, and they've gotten a lot of heat,
a lot of people have been unhappy about it. And
they put on these quote super shows and then you
find out how much money they get paid off doing
these shows, and it's like, uh, hard to turn down
a couple of those pay days in the middle of
the year, especially coming off a pandemic. I just and

(05:00):
I know, I understand all the backstory that comes with
what what you get from Saudi money, but and I'm
just just throwing this out there. Can't you kind of
make the same argument towards some of the NBA's dealings
with China, like and some of this stuff going you'd say, Nike,
I mean, look at the last majority of what's produced
that Nike comes from China. Look at the work conditions,

(05:21):
look at the child labor, look at some of the
other things that people bring up all the time. So yeah,
there's there's no doubt, like we we tend to pick
and choose, okay, when we want to be like hypocritical
about something right, and then this is one instance where um,
you know, for whatever reason, we're gonna condemn golfers who
want to leave to go to Saudi Arabia or playing
the Saudi League or that live you know, golf league,

(05:42):
but we're not going to when it comes to other things.
So it is kind of interesting. I mean, working conditions
are questionable, and a lot of situations here here in
America like and then in the end, I mean, if
if you want to start talking about I mean, Nike
prices are are good businesses is good in terms of

(06:03):
right so oh jeus, Yeah, uh listen, man, you gotta
live your life to to if you if you feel
good about what you're doing and morally your compasses and
perceivably in the right direction for you and what you've

(06:24):
got going on. One thing I'll never do is make
a decision based off of what the majority of people
or the public opinion of people is going to be.
Not gonna make my decision based off of that. So
that's what you wanted to do, you know, you do
you now if it comes back that's something ain't right.
Then you gotta deal with the you know, whatever that

(06:44):
is that that comes back. But I mean, anybody to
condemn somebody from making a professional decision, that that's a
professional decision. Like we're talking about family earlier. You know
how difficult it is to to be able to find
a job, sustain a job, to to make a living,
to make a living that like gas prices, there's a
place right now where gas prices are like right under

(07:06):
ten dollars, you know, and you're talking about just the
beer necessity of just being able to get to your job,
you know. And and then if those those gas prices
are what they are, you know you're talking about, if
you're using mass transit, uh, you're gonna have to pay
a higher a higher toll, higher costs on on all
those things because everything is going up. So and look here, man,

(07:28):
somebody has an opportunity to to put that type of
scratch into their bank account. And and they're you know,
they're okay with themselves. I mean, they say, we're not
talking about you know, street street dealing. We're not. We're
not we're not talking about you're you're going unless that
comes out like no, I don't know, I don't foresee
that being an issue. So if that's not an issue, man,

(07:49):
people need to you know, mind their business on something
like So I'm seeing that Dustin Johnson and his career
has earned what seventy four million, little over seventy four
million and his PG career, I mean, you know, they
come to you with, you know whatever it is, hundred
twenty five to two million dollars. I mean, he's making

(08:09):
so much more than he's ever made in his entire
career as a PGA Tour golfer. I just I'm not
gonna sit I'm not and then it's not to scoff
at seventy four million dollars. But I think if to
Brady's point, if we want to sit here and have
some of these guys like Rory McElroy has made some comments,
you know, I just personally would never do it. It's like,

(08:29):
that's fine, that's fine because it's personal. Personally he would
never do that's fine, and and that's all good. But
the one thing I would do if if I were
one of these golfers on the tour, I would just
you know, kind of keep my mouth shut and see
how this thing plays out, because who knows, maybe they
roll out some sort of a model that's better than
what's currently who knows that that's a negotiation tactic. Personally,

(08:52):
I wouldn't do it. That doesn't mean personally I won't
change my mind. I won't change my mind at an
it's a great point. It's a great point, and it's
it's one of the reasons why Greg Norman, who I
believe is what the CEO of this lived tour, and
he's got a lot of flak for it. But he
he called Jack Nicholas a hypocrite recently because he said,
you know, hey, Jack sat through a presentation, he sat

(09:14):
through some through some of the meetings. You know, a
lot of things in the world of golf have to
go through Jack Nicholas, you know, given his career, given
his his stature within you know, just the golf community.
And Greg Normandal East claims that like Jack Nicholas gave
the blessing on it, you know, and and and now
he's kind of come back and made some comments. And

(09:34):
that's why Greg Norman's been a little more outspoken saying,
well he's a hypocrite. Then, because I've sat with him,
I willston him say Okay, yeah, like go do this.
You know you've got my blessing to be a part
of it. I'm not gonna be a part of it,
but you know, I'll sit through and listen to to
the pitch and what you guys are trying to accomplish.
And so there's a I mean, there's a lot going
on right now in the Gulf War. It's it's actually
pretty fascinating. It's just you know, at the end of

(09:55):
the day, how many people really care. It's also it
kind of reminds me a little bit. And we talked
about the Nick Saban Jimbo Fisher stuff where it's like,
I mean, if we really want to call each other
out on hypocrisy, we could do this all day. And
they took it to a whole another level the other day,
didn't he What did he say? I mean that I

(10:17):
think a call to what they need. Look, I've said
it once, I'll say it again. In that regard, there's
gonna be a revenue share with the TV networks. That's
how these players are gonna get paid. They're they're going
to be funded the majority of what they all get
paid for on every every roster in a conference or
at a school. It's gonna come from the TV revenue,

(10:38):
and that's how that they're gonna get to those numbers.
It's n I L will be a part of it.
It's gonna be the TV money that that that ends
up getting shared with the players that eventually gets them there.
That's where this whole thing is going. It's two Pros

(11:42):
also told that I'm loud and I sing too much
on the show. Screw you? Who cares? Who told you that?
I don't care? People on Twitter? Twitter? I don't listen.
I'd just like to address Here's what. Here's all I
say to anyone out there who's listening that cares about Twitter.
What greatness will was ever built from Twitter? Nothing? Nothing,

(12:04):
nothing in this world was ever born out of created
out of that was actually good this world out of Twitter. Okay,
that's the reality of it. I mean, listen, stop paying
attention to something that's a sessful for society. Damn. Yeah,
you're right. So I'm talking about man, call them out
Yeah Twitter. Twitter. By the way, if you want to

(12:27):
get me on Twitter so you could catch these Yeah.
All right. So we're gonna get to the the very
latest year on the situation involving Deshaun Watson. First, I
want to let you know we are brought to you
by New Genics Texting and rolls you into recurring automated
marketing text messages. Consent not required to purchase message in
data rates may apply. Guys, you can now get a

(12:48):
complimentary bottle of Newgenics Total Teeth and everyone selling free
testosterone booster branded g NC text two pros to two
three one two three one Coming up in a little
over ten minutes from now. We have a new I guess,
a new participant, a new face of the NFL. We
will get into that for a year on fs are UM.
So the latest on Deshaun Watson. We had talked about

(13:11):
this yesterday and the four lawsuit filed against Deshaun Watson.
There are some details in this one which again cannot
be read on the air, but sort of his his acts,
I guess you would call them not creatively. Figure out

(13:32):
a way of informing us of what we're missing out
on this. So Deshaun Watson was in a room with
this woman. UM. He was UM happy, excited about the situation,
and that excitement led to um a a moment in

(13:54):
which he uh relieved himself. I guess is the the
best way to put at it, except there was no
urinal in sight. UM, and it's hard to well, you
know what I mean. He pleasured himself. I guess we
could we could call that UM it's just not relieved,
alleviated the stress. I feel like we're splitting hairs here

(14:18):
at this point. Some could, but the the the whole
situation he's got, there's a pattern the details on this,
there's a pattern that goes along with it. Um. This
apparently was not one of the lawsuits that Deshaun Watson's
legal team were aware of. Um, this is a sort

(14:41):
of news to them. They were throwing out. But it's
now gotten to the point to where if you're the NFL,
what are we waiting on? I mean, like, how many
do you need before you're the NFL and you step
in and go all right, well we got it. It's
worked here. The NFL p A as bad as it

(15:03):
may seem, or look okay, that's the union that's still
going to represent and defend the player and say he's
innocent until proven guilty. Obviously in a criminal court, this
is civil so little different. But they're still gonna have
the back of Deshaun Watson. Like, as bad as this
all looks, someone's gonna defend him. Well, that's his defense
team or even the union, Like that's what you pay

(15:25):
your union dues for. So I'm sure there's conversations, you know,
with the NFL p A and with Deshaun Watson and
his team, and as they continue to go through the
the information that's provided with the various lawsuits, and as
the lawsuits mount up now we're up to twenty four,
there there has to be conversations with the NFL, like, hey,

(15:46):
hold on a second, now, you know, he's nothing, He's
been accused of all this. These are all allegations. We
don't know what exactly is is fact yet or what
took place yet because we're here on one side of
the story. We're not hearing his out of the story
so or or maybe we are, but we want to
hear some other, you know, other takes on this, like
from a jury, from a judge. So you know, I'm

(16:08):
not trying to defend DeShawn Watson. I'm just painting the picture.
There will be there will be some defense by the
nfl PA in regards to the NFL and potentially what
type of punishment they do provide him. So there is
some sort of communication going on there out as soon.
One of the other details that came out in this
latest lawsuit, there's a claim that Deshaun Watson sought out

(16:31):
random strangers on Instagram more than a hundred times for massages.
I'm assuming there's some sort of proof otherwise they wouldn't
just throw that out there. I'm assuming. So if that's
the case, now we've got maybe a filtration system, a
a brothel quote unquote if you will, of places where

(16:53):
he's adding women he made Instagram and online brothel. Let's
just let's call it what it is, like, I don't
is everybody lying? I mean, is everybody full of crap?
I mean, is it? Is it? Well? You know, it's
just uh you know, uh okay, So what's what's of?
What is it? What is that put us it? What? Like?

(17:16):
It's just like how obviously it would end up being
four point eight. It's just still have to keep in
mind that this still could turn into a legal situation again,
because it's not like there was a verse. It went
to trial and a verdict was was rendered to Deshaun Watson,

(17:40):
and and to that point, you're talking about twenty four
possibilities of of this possibly going to a trial. And
so now the conversation to me becomes, at what point,
because all right, you go to you go to hell,
you go to thirty I mean, I don't think any

(18:02):
number would surprise us at this point with with uh,
the amount of people already accusing him. Think about what
you just said. It's already right, But think about what
you just said. We like, we're now talking about this
going from thirty Yeah, that's a possibility. It's a possibility.
Complaints like this is crazy, okay, But now it starts

(18:24):
to get to the point of at some at some point, well,
it really you can't because if if a new one
continues to come out, then that's a new story altogether,
and you have to get the I guess the information
on that new all altogether. But at what point do

(18:44):
you say, all right, this is a part of who
this person is, and what is the next steps in
terms of how do we handle the fact that this
could drag out for years, not for months, not for days,
not for hours. This could drag out for years unless

(19:08):
it turns criminal again. Now, if it turns criminal again,
I would assume that there's an easier approach to all
of this. But if it continues to stay civil, what
exactly is the recourse? What what exactly is the protocol
to a civil civil suits that are are are pending

(19:31):
against him, because again, as as Brady said, he is
going to be defended from the other side of it.
And it should be stated that while we do feel,
you know, know that there have been certain things that
have been admitted in the whole situation, there has nothing
that has seemingly been egregious enough where the league has

(19:54):
been like, you're suspended, go sit at home. In fact,
a franchise aid through the nose to bring him in
to hopefully get his services at their franchise. Right but
but but they also didn't know about these two allegations, right, well, mean,
these two just came about and and and unless one

(20:15):
let's be real for a second about the whole Cleveland search.
As as we talked about before, they didn't know they
were going after DeShawn Watson last year. Like if anyone
within the front office of the Cleveland Browns or ownership
for that matter, Jimmy and d has them goes, oh no,
we did ourn investigation for the past. Did you hear
why you just had a quarterback you came off a

(20:36):
career year for him. Take you to the playoffs, beat
the Pittsburgh Steelers in their house, mind you, and go
into the playoffs So why would you have been shopping
around for another quarterback? How would that make any sense.
You came into the season with high hopes of being
a super Bowl contender, didn't worked out, The quarterback got
banged up in Baker Mayfield, the team got banged up,
and they didn't have the season they were hoping to.

(20:58):
So it really wasn't until they probably got into after
the season was all said and done, they were out
of the playoff hunt before they started realizing, hey, we
could be a player for Deshaun Watson if the offers right. Oh,
let's do a little background check on all this. So
with two three months, you think they were able to
go and talk to every single one of these alleged victims. No,

(21:20):
there's no chance. So the reality of all this is
they probably looked at and said, we don't care what
happens that Deshaun Watson in the short term, if we
feel like we can upgrade at the position and we
give him a contract that suffices, Which that's the most
interesting part. Let's say he is suspended for a year
and then he comes back and plays another year. What

(21:41):
stops him from looking back at this deal, which in
two years time, you're gonna have, you know, other deals
are gonna be you know, upping whatever Deshaun Watson signed.
You're gonna look and say, what he's barely played and
yet he's gonna ask for another deal. He's gonna be
looking for more money at some point relatively soon, and
he could be suspended for a year sometime the next
you know, two or three years. You know what, What

(22:03):
even is more interesting to me today is now because
there continues to be more and more people come forward
with things to say about it. I just wonder, now,
is that is this the real reason is there? You know,
because I'm trying to understand. All right, at first, it's
you're trying to clear your name. You're not going to

(22:24):
settle because you're trying to clear your name, But are
you really not settling because you're aware of all the
people that could possibly come forward on you. Like I
wonder what that number is in his head? Or like
I would assume it's in his head because he's probably
too embarrassed to tell his representation or anybody else the
truth about everything that he's got going on. So in

(22:46):
his mind, where where is that threshold? Like where does
that number come to an end where it's like that's
that's pretty much. Yeah, that's all of them, Like, let
me let me do this, this this negotiation now, because
honestly speaking, if you're thinking about it, I'm just assuming
from his perspective, if you do a settlement and that

(23:08):
settlement is of a certain a certain number, you would
have to assume there's somebody sitting back and they're like,
I can get more than that. I mean, let's just
let's you know, benefit of the doubt to Rusty Harden
and Deshaun watching and them. Are these hundred you know, uh,
massages he sought out on Instagram, Let's say it's just
half of them. We're talking about seventy four different times

(23:34):
that something may have have at least happened or inappropriately happened.
I just the number we become so there's so many
cases against him that we're almost desensitized to it. It's
almost like, well, and that's what I'm saying. Not only that,
but just think about desensitizing to the idea that it's massages,

(23:57):
Like like, if you really take a moment meant to
try to comprehend the fact of the amount of volume
of massages and who's to say, Okay, like you like
ice cream, you like you know, taking long jogs or hikes,
like you can have what you like to do. If

(24:19):
you like getting massages, get as many massages as you
want to get. It seems strange, it seems weird. But
if that's what you like doing, then do it. The
problem here that you run into is now that you
have heard over and over and over at nauseum that

(24:43):
he has been inappropriate and has done wrong in these situations.
The fact of the matter is is that now you
are forced to look at what it is that that
person likes to do and the frequency of what they
them wanting to do it, and now you're forced to
dissect that and that's weird. The fact that you get

(25:06):
that many masseus, the fact that you get that many
massages is it's so you don't even have a comp
You do not even have a camp. You can't say, oh, well,
Brett Farvee used to do it. Brett Farvee used to
get a massage from a different masseus every every day
during the week. You know, Peyton Manning, he like, you

(25:29):
don't even have a comp to say. This is the
justification of why you've used this many massage therapists at
this amount, this clip of usage. It doesn't it doesn't compute,
It doesn't add up, and that becomes the big to me,

(25:49):
the biggest issue here is that you have now been forced,
based off of what these these women are alleging, you
are now forced to take a practice, a cool, sensible
look at the idea of the usage of the service
that you were getting. And to me, it does not

(26:10):
add up. So if I am the brain and if
I'm the thought of the NFL, they have to be
at the least looking at it from this perspective, and
you have to be formulating and conversing about how do
you make the punishment or the disciplinary action where it

(26:32):
makes sense to this aspect of it. This and this alone,
to me at this moment, I wonder what it would take.
And obviously that would you know, probably take reading through
the entire contract. But I wonder at what point the
Browns would look to get out of this whole thing
and be like, hey man, there's this is worse than

(26:53):
we even thought. And I mean, come onus, when you
did the contract. It's word period, right, there's a phrase
called you know, yeah, I know, the man I'm married, right,
I've heard people say that before or or my spouse.
You know, I know who I married. That's part of it. Like,

(27:14):
that's what they've gotten into. They've married into this. There's
no one to blame but themselves. And and unfortunately it's
kind of how Cleveland has operated. Um, there's this has
and we've talked about it. It has the potential to
be a dumpster fire. If this thing doesn't work out,
if they're not if he's not able to go play
and play consistently and go win games, win playoff games

(27:37):
and get to a super Bowl, it's gonna it's gonna
look bad. I mean that, that's the only way of
looking at it right now. But again, we'll see what
the NFL does. It's Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe here Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks.
It's coming up next. We've got a brand new face

(28:44):
It's dead. Hip hop, hip hop. Yee yee yee. Yeah
you ready, Yeah, come on, here we go, Here we go,
Here we go. The s I'm joking, not Freestylan. No,
I'm not gonna do it. It's such a dope. This
is such a dope beat. And so I always, like

(29:05):
you know how we kind of have our little like
top of the hour songs like I always I want
to switch it up, like this need to be one
of them, Like we need this beat coming in. Yeah,
what's that? What's that? What's the original what's the original
track from? It's from like right, yeah, this uh, this
song is from Blue Oysters. No, it's not Blue Oyster.

(29:30):
It's from like a serial killer movie or something like that.
Ye sell you what? When you live in l A,
you become much more intertwined with the just entertainment, movies,
shows and all that. Like, I do not have that
recall for sure. I don't watch many shows or movies.
Figured it out to serial killer. It's a serial killer movie. Interesting, Yeah,

(29:51):
I'll figure it out. But uh well, we are brought
to you by New Genics Texting Inrollsioning recurring automated marketing.

bottle of New Genics Total Teeth, the number one selling

(30:13):
gotta data Vita sample sampled from Incredible Bongo Band. Is
that right? I have no idea, yeah, because it's from
it's from I want to say it might be like
Silence of the Lambs or something like that. That song
is from a famous movie though that sample is from

(30:34):
a famous is that where he wears the skin mask.
Is it from that scene or where he you know,
has the dog and well it might be. I'm just saying,
what are we supposed to be talking. We're gonna get
into your Denver Broncos who apparently they got a new
owner yet is it? Is it the owner of the
part air? Was it? Four point five billion? Is that
what we're seeing the price? Because I also thought that

(30:56):
Peyton Manning has been reached out to by um, you know,
people that are looking to uh to put a bit
on the Broncos. But a four point five billion apparently,
is that what's gonna get it done? Here? What are
we talking about here? I mean that's what I've seen.
I've seen some different reports, Brady, this is your team,
you've seen I have seen some stuff out there four
or five you know, some people saying that you know,

(31:18):
it could go over five billion, but to the Denver
Broncos um on the block and uh, you know they
were getting final bids yesterday. So how soon until we
get an answer is to who's going to buy the
Denver Broncos here? What do we got? What do we look?
I think pretty soon? I mean you at the head
coach answering questions about it, Nathaniel Hackett because of some
of the the reports out there. Um again, I don't

(31:40):
have the inside scoop on that, but I think it's
gonna happen in the next couple of weeks. It's gonna
be defined who that who that owner is gonna be.
I think the NFL right now is um probably not
admitting this, but you've got a fair amount of potential
turnover and franchises like this is unprecedented. You've got Denver
See is going to be one that we're like no

(32:01):
one's talking about but should be talking about. As the
Portland Trailblazers up for sale, and there's a thought that
maybe someone would want to come in and buy the
Trailblazers and the Seattle Seahawks and become the majority owner.
Who knows what's gonna happen with the old are our
friends with the Commandos? That old situation there? So team
they used to play at RFK oh, Yeah that's right. Yeah,

(32:24):
I just want to point that out, known as the
Washington Ridskins, and I played for them my entire career. Yeah,
does that make doesn't make me a racist? The team
that I played for was ninth the Washington Ridskins the
entire time I was there. No, I mean, good question.

(32:48):
I feel like the type of people who wouldn't try
to call you that would be the same type of
people that where if they were in your shoes playing
in the NFL making millions, they would do it too.
You know. We were like, we're so quick to like
condemn other people, and you're like, hold on a second.
You want to go after Dustin Johnson for making you know,

(33:10):
nine figures for playing at a SADI backed golf league,
and you're telling me if you had his talent ability
to do so, you wouldn't do it. You know. Let
me make it even more real. I played for the
Westview Braves at eight years old, so there's a pattern
of behavior here. I played for There we Go, I

(33:32):
played for the Westview Redskins for the second team, and
I played for the Westview Chiefs for the big team.
And then played for the North Hills, which is the
feeder school, the feeder program from that youth organization, the
North Hills Indians I've been. I've been an Indian for

(33:55):
pretty much my entire sports career. The only time that
I became anything different was at Penn state I was
a Nickney line, that was, But then I went right
back to being an Indian and I was a redskin.
That's interesting. I just thought I put it in perspective.
So as a pro you're judging me as a child too.

(34:17):
I had no no say so. And you know I'm
not playing for this team, Dad, they're the braves. That's
that's incorrect. Dad. You better put them pats on and
that girdle on and get in the car. Practice girdle.
Oh you you were it was mandatory you had to

(34:38):
wear a girdle back in youth. The funny thing was
about that is like I don't I don't remember what
aga was. But eventually you're like, yeah, we don't need
a cup. It's like it just was so uncomfortable. And
then trying to move right and run then you realize
like you're not really gonna get hit there that often
maybe as a little kid, but show you're and what

(35:00):
did you have to show your ben when you you
like did your way in, like you did your way in,
and some in my league you could take off your
clothes and get butt naked to to weigh in to
try to make weight, and you make weight, you put
your stuff on and you get in line. They checked.
You gotta pull your your your jockstrap band out of
your your pants so that they can see it, and
you gotta hit it. I don't remember that now. I

(35:22):
think it was like pretty self explanatory. They made us
pull the band out of our people. We did have
to weigh and stuff and pop it. You could run
the football if you're too big, like you were like
a designated offensive lineman or d lineman, which was a
little unfair. But did they did they do cup checks
in high school? Like it was it mandatory? No, I'm
saying because I had a coach. No, I swear to God,

(35:43):
no I had there was a coach. He also was
a coach on the baseball No he no, he's no
longer with us, But I had a coach in high school.
He also coached on the baseball team. He would walk
around with a bat and make sure everybody was wearing
their cop I swear that is a true story in
today's society right now. What do you mean, I'm just

(36:06):
saying that's what he would do. He goes, are you
wearing a cup? Because he didn't want anybody getting hurt.
He goes, and that would be he didn't want you
getting hurt, but he's gonna walk around and check to
make sure tappy. He would tap you with a bat.
You need to have a cup on. LaVar just listed
off playing for seventy five racist teams uh in his career,

(36:26):
And I'm getting accused for being unbelievable because I'm talking
about a guy walking around with a loose slugger. Okay,
I guess that's fair that what did that have to
do with I'm just saying, you guys are talking about
wearing girdles and cups, and I just it brought up
a memory. I remember this guy walking around, a coach,
walking around making sure everybody had had a jockstrap on
with a cup. That seems like one of those memories

(36:48):
that you don't want to You were scarred and scared
wore mine. I was fine, you know you were scarred, like, yeah,
come on, coach, come hit my cup. It was it
wasn't a sledge hand. Had a lot of issues. I
got actually, coach, coach right air, coach, I got mine, coach,
bring the bat over hair, coach right here. I'm good. Yeah,

(37:10):
you were proud when every time Jones. You were proud
when he came over with the slugger and hit your cup. Hunt.
I'm protected going, what is the problem here? That is? Look,
it was a long time ago that but that was
you know, that wouldn't fly nowadays. I can't believe you
just said that over the radio. What do you mean
the guy he had a bat. I need to make

(37:31):
sure you're wearing a cup that was his. That's what
he would do. The true story. I just I just
wonder what type of investigation conclusion the NFL came to
on that one. What were we supposed to talk about
the Broncos and how much you're gonna go for five?
I'm just saying that's a nice, nice number. Is that
a low ball offer? No pun intended for the Broncos?

(37:54):
I think it is. I mean it's a helpful, Okay,
I just mean that's a cup offer. Come on, Like,
I just can handle the Louisville slugger offer. Got dry
humping guys about. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports
