waiting around for what's going to happen with some of
these potential coaching openings because you know, we know the
ones that are available right now. Obviously we've got the Texans,
we've got the Cardinals, the Denver Broncos have already been interviewing,
(01:24):
like we know the usuals are out there. But then there's,
you know, the possibility that maybe the Cowboys job could
open up if they falter. There's the possibility that maybe
the Rams job would open up if Sean McVeigh wants
to leave. And we've been discussing that a little bit,
and apparently, um Sean McVeigh is allowing other members of
(01:45):
his staff to uh, you know, seek opportunities or maybe
talk to some other teams, which I don't know why
you would do that if you really were intending to
stick around. But Sean McVeigh has not said whether or
not he's going to be back. A. J. Glazer reported
a couple of days ago that they would be more
surprised if he returned than if he left. But it
(02:06):
does feel like we're heading in that direction here, that
that ram shop might be another one of these openings,
or maybe it's just a kind way of getting rid
of the coaches on your staff that you just don't
want to have have to fire. Isn't that? Isn't that like
what you do if you were like two nice of
a guy and you're like, I don't wanna fire him, Like,
how do I how do I figure this out? All? Right? Oh? Here,
here's what I'll do. I'll just make it seem like
(02:29):
I don't want to coach anymore, and I'll like really
put it out there and speculate for like such a
long period of time that these guys gonna be Like, dude,
I can't wait a rolph for him to make a decision.
I got an opportunity to hear, opportunity here, I gotta go,
and then like three or four weeks from now, he's like, see,
not all figured itself out? And are you saying that
(02:52):
he would mislead members of his staff like that, that
they would pull like some sort of a dirty tactic
like that. I feel like that's a bit reckless for
you to come after mcvaghe like that. I mean McVeigh, Sorry,
I mean, I'm speaking ton of tongue in cheek and
I know you're trying to get me to make a
hot take, and I've got one of those actually coming
up with the Beak news, But um, yeah, I don't know.
It's it's hard to not look into what happened last
(03:14):
year before the Super Bowl. I mean, think about this.
It was before the Super Bowl where the rumors came
out and reports came out that he was looking at
after the season, getting into TV and taking a break.
And I thought to myself, like, man, that's such a
weird time considering the last time he was in a
Super Bowl they did get out coached by Bill Belichick
(03:36):
and the Patriots, and they obviously lost that game. And
now you're on the cusp of this, and yet this
is what's coming up, Like this is the conversation, not
like how does he get his first Super Bowl? Young
head coach who's you know, considered an offensive genius and
has had a ton of success since he started taking
over for the Rams. But that was the conversation. So
(03:56):
I think it's hard not to look at everything that
transpired this year the conversation last year, not connect the
dots and realistically say maybe he just does need a break.
You know, maybe he's looking at what Sean Payton is
doing and he feels like a year, two years or
whatever it is. You know, he just can kind of
take a break, stay around the game, not necessarily have
(04:17):
to deal with the constant grind, and then move forward.
And it just so happens to sync up with the
fact that the Rams are in an awful cap situation
and draft picks situation for the next couple of years.
Jay Blazer said it, I'm going with Jake, That's all
I'm gonna say. I don't think he's coming back. Um,
(04:39):
I don't know that that's a hot take. I think
all the things, given he's won a super Bowl there,
you know, they mortgaged a lot of their future to
be able to get the players that they did, to
be able to win those suits that Super Bowl, and
to be good enough to even make it to two
Super Bowls. He has done an excellent job coaching, because
(04:59):
even though you have talent doesn't necessarily mean that you
can get the same results. I think we're seeing that
take place in Tampa. As I mentioned that earlier in
the show. And if you want to hear what I've
had to say. You know, make sure you go to
our podcast Two Pros and a Cup of Joe wherever
it is. That's podcast. That's yeah. So anyway, I just
I really think that it takes it takes someone who
(05:21):
understands more than just the XS and o's of coaching
to be able to win and coach it. We talked
about that with Kirby Smart as well is being able
to create that culture, being able to motivate your guys.
From everything that I've heard, you know, guys love Sean McVeigh,
so you know, the the idea of of you know him,
(05:43):
him stepping away um to do something else. I think
it's interesting because I just think this is a new
generation altogether, not just the players. We talked about how
different these players are. You gotta keep in mind Sean
McVeigh as a younger coach too. These younger coaches are different.
And two, they're very different. They're not they're not old
(06:03):
school type of coaches. So for for one of these
young bucks to step away to do something different and
do something else, I mean I wouldn't find it to
be shocking or surprising, especially if they have a golden opportunity.
I mean, they're calling him baby Gruden, you know what
I mean. So it's like, if you're gonna have baby
groom come into the booth, you know, give you some energy,
(06:26):
why wouldn't you go after him hardcore to try to
get him. Let's just tell his emails are a little cleaner. Well,
I think the difference to is like, you're not gonna
hear a Spider two why Banana called for every single run, pass, play, action,
boot screen, every play, and and and on top of that,
he's probably not gonna say honest at all about blitz.
Wasn't all out blitz? That was the thing. I feel
(06:48):
like Gruden got to the point where he just became
like a character instead of like what he was as
a coach, which was a great coach. But the whole
Spider two why Banana thing where that became exposed and
people are like, yep, he's just set it before this play,
this play, this play, they're all three different plays, and
in the West Coast system, it is a specific play
call uh one, in which is you know again, you
(07:11):
know what if you've ran the system and you can't
call it three different things. But Gruden was doing Corona
and Hooters commercials off his broadcasting career. I don't remember
him doing any of those commercials as a Raiders coach.
Like to your point, he was such a character that
he was getting sponsorships just from being the voice of
(07:31):
Monday Night football. Like that's so people could say whatever
they want about him. He was successful. Again, emails Acidey,
you know we're not. You know that's that's a whole
another conversation. But yeah, mcveag feels like he's going to
have offers out there to call games. We said it
earlier this week. We think he's going to be fantastic.
I think he's gonna be awesome. I'd love to see
what what he comes up with. But now, if let's
(07:53):
say the Rams job is open, how attractive is that gig?
Because in comparison to say Houston, ver Arizona, Carolina, Indianapolis,
if those are the openings, where would you put that
job in comparison to some of those other openings. You
have a lot more players on on that Rams team
than some of those you just named. For for now,
(08:14):
I mean it doesn't now if Donald were to retire,
Stafford's obviously not going to UM next year. He said
he's coming back. But if you if you were to
in four, you need a quarterback, you don't have one
there in waiting. Um unless you know, Baker signs back
and that's the route he wants to go. But yeah,
I think you've got a lot of questions. And the
other thing that's kind of still lingering is let's say
(08:36):
you are a coach that looks at that and said, yeah,
you know it's it's talented ross. I want to take
that one to live in l a and trying to
do a good job, trying to bring them back to
it to win a Super Bowl. Well, what happens if
after two years pick they wants to come back, they
have his rights. Are you just gonna be ousted? I mean,
that's where Dennis Allen's in a weird spot in New Orleans.
If the Saints ever wanted him back, they have his rights,
(08:58):
they could just Slideshan right back in there, right in
the demotor fire Dennis Allen. It's just it's a really
awkward scenario when these coaches kind of hanging up when
they say about the years left on the deal, and
the team obviously still has their rights, and so if
they want to go coach somewhere else. That's fine, but
now you've gotta trade them, and what are you willing
to give up? I mean I would imagine the Rams
(09:19):
could probably give up, you know, get back that a
first round pick for McVeigh as as compensation for him.
The problem is is, I mean they haven't really valued
those in the past. I mean as less needs still
there is is f them picks still like his old strategy,
Like what like what are they thinking here? Yeah? It's uh,
I mean, who knows. Maybe in a couple of years
(09:39):
from now, the Commandos are going to need another head coach.
And you know, Sean McVeigh spent some time there. You
don't think they would take him back in d C. There, LaVar,
they take a shot at Sean McVeigh back, try and
get that organization back on track there probably probably, Yeah,
I don't see what not. You know, ownership, you know
(10:00):
under new ownership is I don't know, Arrington Enterprises stop
buying the Commandos Bassos, just stop that. Uh it is uh.

on fs are be sure to catch live editions of
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn,
LaVar Errington and Jonas Knocks weekdays at six am Eastern,
three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I
Heart Radio Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio. So we are going to catch
up here momentarily with the great Petros Papadakis, uh, the
(11:07):
co host of the Petros and Money Show. It is
a Wednesday tradition here, you know. So he's you know,
getting fired up for this appearance. You know, man, he
always does. I mean, you know, we do have to
take up an issue that we got with Petros here
because I feel like, well I feel like he represents
all of southern California. Yeah, just I mean, this stuff
going on, it's so far, you know, it's it's a
(11:29):
little little bit, a little bit of a disgrace. What
is happening? So let's try and get some answers from
him right now. Petros Papadkis. He is the co host
of the Petros Some Money Show, which, by the way,
where can you hear the Petros Some Money Show? Brady
and five seventy l a Sports also an analyst for
Fox and their coverage of college football, and he is
a friend of the program. Every Wednesday you hear from
(11:50):
Petro's here at the old Poon Twitter, Petros, what's happening?
How are you? How come more on time today? Is
it because Dawn's breaking out? About the clock? What do
you mean now that? How would that sound if he did?
My man, you got us down the clock. You're killing yourselves.
You're leaving fifteen minutes of ratings out there every day
(12:12):
just doing the wrong breaks. My man, you've got to
help yourself. I want everybody to write down when the
brakes are on a piece of paper and putting in
front of the host, so you know you gotta get
out at sixteen eight and fifty six no more. Exceptions,
play them off every back of the day. And if
(12:34):
they're not gonna do that, just go to a heart out.
Just in the middle of them talking. Yeah, right in
the middle of Jerry, Right in the middle of Jerry
West telling me his father held a shotgun to his face.
You know the break music. You see me rolling alright,
(12:58):
Mr West, Sorry about the problems with your dad. Add
on that dirt floor in West Virginia. But good luck
with a book. So Petro's a lot of complaints about
Sofi Stadium, and since you represent all of l A
and I mean you think it stinks. Well, I think
(13:18):
that it's a many layered question, but I think Sofi
Number one is a pretty good viewing experience when you're
awesome to watch the game, but everything else absolutely blows.
I mean, the hot dogs look like a man scrolled
them scro dog dog. You know. I didn't like petros
(13:44):
parking is death. Yeah, that's not good. Um. I didn't
like how you can't walk around the entire arena. You
have to go up to walk over and then back
down to get from the east side to the west side.
Two dozen souls, Brady have been lost and never found again.
We don't know where they are. Two dozen people just lost,
Like in Everest, It's like the slopes of Everest littered
(14:09):
with bodies go up. Yeah, you just it's it is
a vast place of no return. Parking is terrible. There's
nothing to do in Inglewood other than get your tire
popped because of the stadium that the Clippers are building
into it and that endless construction, which is a nightmare
(14:33):
in Inglewood. And there's also nowhere to go in Inglewood.
Inglewood doesn't have a centralized area of public meeting. You know,
there's a Sizzler, but other than that, yeah, I mean,
it's just not It's just not an event place. So
if you're going to have an event there, I mean
(14:54):
it's it's going to be as they continue to develop it.
But right now, I mean, it's just this big gas stadium.
And they wouldn't even let people tailgate for one reason
or another. And Inglewood and the n C Double A
and the college football Playoff and so far are all
pointing fingers at each other as to why they wouldn't
allow people to tailgate. But I mean, what's with the
(15:16):
half stepping. I mean, if you're gonna throw a party,
throw the damn party, or if you're not, give it
to somebody else that knows how to. And it was
an embarrassment to have the college football playoff there if
they weren't going to actually have the college football playoff there. Now,
the weather event, it's so far. Look, we don't get
a lot of weather here. Uh. And there's a reason
(15:38):
that the news freaks out when it rains here and
that everybody goes absolutely berserk is because nothing here is
built for the rain. All of our schools are outdoors
and amphitheater style, all of our shopping everything's outside. So
when it rains, no one has anything designed for the rain,
(15:59):
and everybody just drowns and floods and fills with mud
and cries and screams. I mean, it's a terrible thing.
And the rain was coming into so Fi sideways because
it's a half dome and it was cold and all that.
But I mean, you don't have a party in l
A because you think it's gonna rain, you know, part
(16:19):
of it. Part of the appeal is the weather, So
that part of it, and all the people slipping and
sliding in the gurney traffic that was everywhere when all
the people going down. People can take it on stretches left,
big fat people from the South. I was a pregame
party deal, and I like they were dropping left and right,
(16:40):
like slipping and sliding all kinds of stuff, and it
was actually, uh, it was It was sad to see,
but you're kind of going, yeah, this thing wasn't constructed
to have like a bad day. Like it's just it
says it makes sense now that you say that. But well,
they don't know what to do if there's lightning either,
Like there was lightning what was it maybe Raiders Chargers
(17:00):
a couple of years and they stopped the game even
though it has a cover because like the slideways lightning
might come in and then the lightning continued. But the
NFL was like, you know what, let's just play, because
I mean I was driving by the stadium, literally driving
on the freeway by the stadium, saw lightning all over
(17:23):
the sky and was listening on the radio and They're like,
all right, we're gonna kick it, and I was like, damn, okay.
So they don't really you know, there's not a lot
of protocol when it comes to the league in that
place and how to get everything done there. But the
league made that multi billionaire cronky with his bow tie
build them a giant shrine to gladiator NFL football on
(17:45):
the West coast. They made him put the Chargers in
there for one dollar a year. They made him build
the NFL Network Mecca. It's all right there in Inglewood,
and for better or for worse, it's here and it's
an attraction. Don't throw a college football party unless you're
willing to actually have the damn party. I want to
(18:05):
stay in in the college ranks and stay out here
in southern California. UM. You know, there's been conversations that obviously,
when when the season ends, everybody talks about can they
win it again? And who's going to be up for
the Heisman. I actually think Caleb is the first, the
(18:26):
first player in quite a while that I think can
get it two times in a row. Now, I've heard
there's a rumor out there that the n I L
deals or the n i L rules in Ohio are
are still a little a little I guess there, and
and that Marvin Harrison Jr. Could possibly leave and go
(18:48):
to USC for an n I L deal that's more attractive.
I'm hearing that out there. If if that happens, you
gotta believe that. You know, Caleb Is is going to
be up for the Heisman. Do you think that he
can he can repeat as the Heisman Trophy winner. It's hard.
I mean it's hard to do because of yeah, injury
(19:12):
factor and people being fatigued. The USC certainly has the
cash to pull it off. I remember Liner looked like
he was gonna maybe repeat, but then Reggie Bush ended
up winning the Heisman, which is really hard, you know,
from the same team because a lot of the time
those guys will split the vote. And look, they already
attracted Addison to come and use USC and and pull
(19:36):
vaulted into the future, and they even let him wear
carts and Palmer's number, and the guy opted out of
the freaking Bowl game. But so so I guess, uh,
I guess you know that doors wide open for the
best wide receiver in the country to come play with
the best quarterback in the country. Stranger things have happened.
It would upset a lot of people in Ohio State
(19:58):
who think of their program as the absolute peak of football.
But as I said, the slopes of Everest are strewn
with bodies, So I guess, I guess it's not beyond
the realm of possibility. Just whenever there's a repeat Heisman
campaign or that kind of talk, something always happens, right
(20:20):
the tweak, your ankle, miss a couple of weeks, come back.
But I think he's gonna have a great year because
he's just so damn willful, and I really can't argue
with the way the guy plays. And guy plays his
absolute ass off and doesn't make a lot of mistakes
out there and really tried to overcome USC's huge deficiency
(20:42):
that got worse and worse as the season went on
on the defensive side of the ball. So I think
it's very, very possible that he wins the Heisman. I mean,
Lincoln Riley's always got that guy, it seems that really
lights it up. The one difference about Caleb Williams, I
thought until the very to the year, in the last
two games through November, he was really surging and playing
(21:05):
his best football, and that's how you win a Heisman Trophy.
We we get all hyped up about Lincoln Riley players
usually in September early October, but when they get it
going in November, that's when they win the Heisman, and
we'll see usc is gonna have Oregon this year coming up,
They're gonna have Washington. They're gonna have a lot of
teams on the schedule that they didn't. They're gonna have
(21:27):
to go to Notre Dame. So there will be, uh,
there will be a lot of tests for him. But
I think that as far as repeating, I don't think
anybody I've ever seen in my lifetime would have a
better chance. Uh, just looking at it on paper here
in January, looking forward to next year, does he have
a better chance? By the way, Petros Papadegus joining us
(21:48):
here on Fox Sports Radio, get him on Twitter at
the old pe does he have a better chance? He
continues to paint his fingernails. Or No, you know, I
don't know. I mean, you know, to me, God, I'm
worried about my lizard. My lizards just laying there. I
think he's asleep. I don't know that's what you call it. No,
I have this lizard. Now, it's a bearded dragon, a
(22:08):
beard and dragon. It's gonna get big. Hold on, hold on.
Is this like in like a case sort of splits
in a terrarium? Yeah, Okay. I thought maybe it was
just like a I'm trying to learn to care for
and I I there was. It was like a gag
gift and nobody wanted it. At this gift exchange, I
went and I was like, I'll take I'll take the
list dragons a white elephant party. Somebody did? Yeah? Did
(22:31):
they really? So I was letting. Everybody got all mad
and I was like, dude, give me the damn lizard.
Is that unwritten rule like you can't bring live animals
to that? Yeah, that's why people were pissed. So who
brought up? A friend of mine who works in a prison,
So I brought it. He's a fat federal prison. So okay,
(22:53):
so you're talking about like white collar cries. You know
the stories he tells me. It doesn't feel that way, Brady.
Can you give me an example of petros I just look,
prison is a bad place. You ever seen American me?
It's funny. Everyone seems to make the federal prisons out
to beat like it's guys guys in jumpsuits playing croquet
(23:17):
or playing tennis nicely. It's not the case on Terminal
Island in Long Beach, I could take But anyway, now
I have this lizard and yesterday, you know, I fed
him as real worm and he ate it all fast.
And he's been laying on his freaking thing ever since,
almost dead to the world. He ate too fast. I
(23:40):
don't know, he just collecting that heat. You got a
hot rock in there, Petros. I got a light on him,
and then you know, when the sun comes out, I
turned it to the daytime light. You need a hot rock,
you put it on the bottom, and did you think
about releasing it into the wild? A bearded dragon? I
don't know. Alibertes, Yeah, they're solitary lizards. They like, uh,
(24:05):
he wants to be cared for. Okay, I'm just I'm just,
you know, trying to help you out. How big is
this lizard? Because I'm big, it's gonna get big. But
it's going to get big. I mean, they're mean looking.
What are you gonna do? He's actually very nice, but
I'm worried he's dead. What are you going to happen?
(24:29):
Last week? He's not a very tough looking lizard. No,
it's a bearded dragon. I'm trying to figure out who
thought that was a good idea to bring to a
white elephant? Can live for ten to fifteen years. Yeah, yeah,
well you know, I hope. So, who's the a hole
that gave that as a white elephant kid? Prison warden?
Dude where the scary as hell? He's the warden. No,
(24:54):
but we call him that. He comes home from work
with his hands all bruised, said, I really got into
it today. Yet he's the guy that if they're like,
you know, if a dude says he's not coming out
of his cell, they don't just say like okay, you know,
they send in like a whole group of dudes and
riot gear, an extraction team. Yeah, extraction exactly, LaVar, and
(25:15):
then they strap him to a bed for hours so
they calmed down. It's like the uh, the guy who
got beat up after him and his buddy's tried to
take advantage of Dufrayne and shah Shank. Then he ended
up never walking again. I think his name was Bobs
in that movie. Yeah, taxes, he did his taxes. You
know petros, you know they sell like clothing, like pieces
(25:37):
of like clothing for bearded dragons online. I'm looking at
a cowboy hat you can give for your bearded dragon
right now. I'm into that. Yeah, I'm into all that show,
but I need to keep the damn thing a lot.
Can I ask this as we transition maybe back to sports. No,
I'm sorry. I'm just like, I'm concerned about the lizard.
I'm concerned too for the lizard. But you know, this
(25:59):
is what happened last week. I came down here to
do your show, and I was like, why isn't he movie?
Oh maybe he's not alive. I don't know the dragon.
Can I ask this, Petros? Are the Lakers playoff holps alive? No?
I mean it's early, but I mean it's just what's
happening with the Lakers right now? Make me talk about
the Lakers. I mean, college football season is over with,
(26:22):
the NFL is almost wrapping up. Obviously, the charge just
take going through the whole. I mean, we all go
through the we just do the play for the Lakers.
It's like we all read our lines from our town.
Lebron built this team. He wanted all these guys, they're
all from his friends or his own agency, and he
(26:45):
wanted Westbrook. And then we have to go through the
motions to listen to him complain about how you know
I don't play for meaningless games to get stats. No,
that's exactly what you're doing. It's like, it's so weird.
Lebron's getting impa should oh? Sam Amick wrote about Lebron's
impatience in the USA today, Oh, everybody better, This will
(27:05):
go through the media cycle. We got to talk about
how mad Lebron is. What are they gonna do? It's
like the Lakers are leveraged up the ass forever, just
like the Rams, because they wanted this guy and they
let him take control. They handed him the keys. And
you look at the Twitter and Rob Linka's trending or
Genie Busses trending. It's like the only reason they should
(27:28):
be trending is because they gave the franchise away to
Lebron James and now we have to go through this
charade with him. He's one of the best players of
all time. He's ageless. Who knows what he's pumped in
his body to make him for years? His head looks
like a giant block. Uh, which is great. I mean,
(27:48):
was happy for him, but but the fact that it's
happening as uh under the flag of the Lakers, which
is supposed to be one of the great franchises in
the history of sport. It's just it really does not
feel like the Lakers of my childhood, or even of
(28:09):
the Kobe and Shack era or really anything. It feels
like Lebron James and Lebron James Incorporated and Clutch Sports
and the stupid barbershop show and all the other crap
that we deal with with. Lebron has taken the Lakers
and that is the brand until he's done with it.
(28:29):
And I think it turns a lot of people in
l a off. The Lakers do not have the cash
in this town that they used to. Even a lot
of it is because they priced out most of their
real fans at Staples Center, and that's a epidemic within
the NBA, largely across the league, but the Lakers. I
(28:51):
just don't think people relate to him the same way
they used to because of the way Lebron has handled
himself and handled the franchise. And you can blame Robin
Genie because they they did it to themselves. They gave
it to him. I don't know who wouldn't In the NBA.
It seems like a lot of people wanted to take
that deal. But be careful what you wish for because
(29:13):
it kind of feels like the Lakers are in basketball
purgatory ever since Lebron showed up. And I know they
won that pandemic thing, but so did the Dodgers, and
people are still really piste off about those results too.
He is Petros Papadakis. He is the cost of the
Petros money, showing a M five seventy l A Sports.

was appropriate here from Morning Drive that I'm trying to.

so five stadium hot Dog Scroat Dogs scro Dog Petro set.
(30:20):
They built that place for movie stars to sit in. Uh,
suits and watch the game. They didn't build it for
regular people to park and have a good time. It
sucks and hand out chicken wings during the game. There
was wings, yeah in some places. Yeah, Petro sweet now

Card weekend in the NFL. With plenty of news and
(32:40):
notes and some angles and storylines, you know, like, why
is it super wild Card weekend? There's only one wild
Card weekend? Dah, that's what they call it now because
there's more wild card teams. I don't know. Yeah, but
what it's just the way the wild Card weekend is now.
I don't know that. I don't make the rules what
they call. Yeah, it's called Super wild Card and the
(33:00):
NFL Super wild Card Weekend. Listen. I'm not a I'm
just here to relay the message, you know, to try
and let everybody know what's happening. But you know, we'll
get into all that stuff tomorrow. I'm feeling great about
my picks, feel really confident about my picks, starting to
find my rhythm here late in the season. I don't
think anyone cares, I'll be honest. I mean, it's so
(33:22):
bad all year over. That's what you said. There's really
no data information to back that up. Trustworthy. It just
it's all about trust. If you have trust in me,
and you believe in me as a human being and
my integrity, then you just take my word for it
and just be satisfied with that. But let me tell
you what's going to make us all satisfied. This let's
(33:45):
go to the news. Deess what God, here's Brady Quinny. Well,
anyone who's out there traveling right now knows that a
lot of the airports are delayed across the country and
it's because the a A, the Federal Aviation Administration has
that a system failure nationwide. Yeah, the report of the
outage with with the notice to air emissions a critical
(34:09):
system that relays important information to pilots and airports. So
they're working to restore it. But as of earlier this morning, um,
there's a bunch of flight delays across the country. So
not a lot has been going well so far for
the airline industry between Southwest and their issues with all
the storms that went sweeping across the country, not a this, Yeah,
(34:31):
it's gonna like have you guys uh, yeah, that's true.
You would have walked right into that crash storm. Have
you been there yesterday? Um? Or did that happen today?
Have have you guys run into any issues? Is this
overblown by the media or have you guys you know,
has there been any issues? More delays, more issues on flights?
You guys travel have a lot more than I do. Yeah.
(34:53):
By advice people, Yeah, my My advice is like, if
you fly Delta American, you can fly some of the
A airlines. Usually they're a little better too. When when
the crap it's the fan. Jet Blue two has done
a decent job. Um, Southwest just really struggled lately. They've
got an antiquated system, and I mean, look, it's tough.
You just you you can't feel like they're dependable anymore
(35:15):
to take off on time and to get you where
you need to go. M yeah, I'm a big spirit guy,
so it's kind of never calling it. Oh yeah, yeah,
as you shouldn't. So they'll charge your air on that thing.
Yeah they do. Excuse me, sir, did you just clear
your throat? That'll be dollars? Okay, sorry about that, alright,
(35:39):
moving on before I get myself in trouble. Um. You know,
Georgia wins the national championship. Stetson Beenett now up there
with the elite in college football. Um, when he two
back to back national championships. Chris Russo has a problem
with him though. It feels like it's too old. You know,
that's a bet at twenty five years old, you know,
he's the he's actually older than Brock Purty, Trevor Lawrence,
(36:00):
you have Hurts Justin Herbert, just to name a few
who are obviously NFL quarterbacks, some rookie, some in their
second year. Heck, I think, what's Lamar Jackson. He's twenty five, right,
I don't fifth year or something like. They may have
just turned Yeah. So I look at when I was
twenty five. That was my third year in the league,
and I turned twenty five that year. Um, so it's
(36:22):
kind of crazy. Do you have an issue? You guys
have an issue with guys being this old still playing college.
Sean Clifford, Like, what are we talking about here? Chris
Wanky played until he was almost thirty. Like, didn't Brandon
Weedon come out when he was twenty seven? I mean,
come on, well, but they left and played professional baseball
and then came back to the sport for a year
(36:43):
or two. Blame the COVID quite like this, Blame the
COVID year. You know, added I've heard of God, Like
I said, I had a teammate that came in from
being a Navy seal. He was thirty years old. Yeah,
I mean he was old as hale, but his dream
was to play pen play linebacker. At Penn State. I don't.
I don't necessarily have a problem with it to say
(37:05):
that he's too old. I mean, what does it matter?
What does it mean either you're going to be good
enough where you're not. You know, no matter how old
you are. It's just like the league. You're going to
have twenty one year old twenty maybe even in some cases,
depending on how early they came out, you may have
a twenty year old that's playing in the National Football
League and they're playing against somebody who's forty years old.
(37:28):
So I don't, I don't have a problem with it.
I mean, it's like it is, does he have some
sort of an advantage because he's older? Like, I don't
know that anybody more mature. It might be more mature,
but he get that asked whipped just like like I
don't like, does anybody look at him and go, oh, well,
(37:49):
because he's older, Yeah, that's a big advantage he's got
over say a Brce Young or a C. J. Stroud. No,
those guys are all going to get drafted before him.
Who cares, dude, you gotta do stetson, uh, last one
real quick. So we've seen build a sort on football
field on a massage gun. Thought on the basketball court
last night, dead Man, not the one you're thinking. To
(38:09):
get your head out of the gutter. He's a veteran
center for the heat. He got a heated altar CAAs
with their exposed fro on the bench, tassa massage gun
on the court in their win. Since Orlando Robins has
been starting in his place, it's not the first time
somebody's tossed a chair. You know. Interesting you're saying, I
just thought that would happen in Cleveland. Fox Sports Radio
