it's still and ah catch who's back? Yeah Snoop Doggs
is in the house with Doctor Dre and Eminem. I
don't even know who's on this song. I don't know

Talking about right there.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
By the way, what a guy.
Speaker 5 (01:17):
Wrote in on Twitter and said, LeVar humming the tune
to every rock song yet at knowing absolutely none of
the lyrics is quite remarkable. It felt like shade. I
just think that's a gift that you can take any
song Burdo plays from the seventies all the way to
now and know exactly, you know, just kind of give
give it a good go on the air and just
(01:37):
make it sound like it's appropriate.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
So right, it's not entirely accurate. I don't know a
lot of the lyrics, but to say none of the
lyrics I would says inaccurate.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Yeah, felt like a false statement there.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
But I mean I can understand where he was coming
from though, or she whoever it was.
Speaker 5 (01:57):
Yeah, I believe it was a he who No, it
is two pros we live in today.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
It definitely is.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
He may change his mind or they may change their
mind today. Yeah, got to give you something different five o'clock.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
You gotta be careful U.
Speaker 5 (02:13):

are sitting number three in the draft. The expectation is
they may be trading out of that spot if there's
nobody there that they like taking. They've got a lot
of holes to fill. They've got a quarterback in Kyler
Murray who was injured, Kyler Murray, who was their number
(02:58):
one overall pick a few years years ago. Well, Kyler
Murray was the subject of a conversation that Dan Patrick
had on many of these which you can hear on
many of these Fox Sports radio affiliates. By the way,
Brady Quinne, frequent guest of Dan Patrick. I mean he
won't come on our weekend show, so bar but he
will come on Dan Patrick's show.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Pause what I don't get invited on either of y'all show,
so let's not would you come on?
Speaker 6 (03:28):
Of course I come on?
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Well the ass I didn't know Jonas once.
Speaker 6 (03:33):
Two hours old of himself. That's what he never asked me.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
And we don't think you and TJ doing a segment
would be radio goal.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Yeah, good luck get to break.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
That would be radio goal.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
You guys. That would be a fun discussion.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
Oh my gosh, because y'all are both strong, like like
fierce debaters of the belief. I mean, that would be
that'd be I would love to hear that. Okay, anything right,
That's very true. And I'd rather standing up than on
my knees player.
Speaker 7 (04:04):
Hey, all right, yeah, but that.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
In, yeah, that one in.
Speaker 8 (04:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:20):
I don't know if we can our budget. I don't
know if if we can afford Brady on the JKS.
Got other things to worry about, high production, you know,
things like that again, but I mean, I'll look into it.
I'll see if we can. I'll talk to the producers
and see if we can try.
Speaker 6 (04:34):
And I'm busy during your showtime.
Speaker 5 (04:38):
But on the Dan Patrick Show, Steve Kim who LeVar Arrington,
who's going to be doing Draft night coverage here with
on Fox Sports Radio with coming up tomorrow night. He's
the former GM of the Arizona Cardinals, And the discussion
was why they took Kyler Murray number one overall a
few years ago as opposed to Nick Bosa. There was
(04:58):
a story that came out. Nick told the Cardinals that
if you draft quote that little guy, I'm going to
haunt you for the rest of his career. O God,
so something along those lines. So with that being said,
Steve Kaime talked to Dan Patrick about the decision.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
Here's how it sounded.
Speaker 6 (05:16):
If I gave you a do over, Well, Kyler Murray
got me an extension. Nick Bosa probably would have got
me fired.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Really well, I mean, your quarterback position is the guy
who could propel your team the quickest.
Speaker 7 (05:28):
Yeah, but and he did that.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Okay?
Speaker 8 (05:31):
Could Nick mose have got his two an eleven win
team that year two years ago?
Speaker 6 (05:36):
Now?
Speaker 5 (05:36):
Some people have taken some shots to Steve Kime with
the well that's exactly why he's not there anymore. But
was anything that he said incorrect? No, they did the
right thing. They took the quarterback and everybody's job was
on the line. And he's right, he did get him
an extension. Then it did work early on with Kyler Murray.
Last year was a disaster.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
They were trending in the right direction though. Yeah, I
mean maybe people have short memories, but at one point,
I mean they were like coming into the season favorite
to not only win their division, but the challenge for
being in the super Bowl out of the NFC. So
it just kind of fell off of a cliff very quickly.
And I think that that's what people really have focused
(06:18):
in on and what they remember. But I mean, kime
did I thought they did a fine job of building
that roster up at one point. They had a ton
of elites scattered across that across that roster. So and
I don't think anyone would have said that Kyler Murray
was a bad choice. I don't know why it would
(06:39):
even be framed in a way like he was a
miss of a pick. He was not a miss of
a pick.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
No, I mean like, O, look, he got injured last year.
There's so many by the way, there's so many other
things that played into the lack of success for Arizona
last year.
Speaker 6 (06:54):
You know, they never really.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Replaced what they lost in Chandler Jones. As far as
an edge rusher.
Speaker 6 (06:59):
Hopkins missed the six games.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
He's arguably your best player on your roster and he's
not there. That is huge in regards to the impact
of you know, scoring points, moving the football, making plays.
Speaker 6 (07:10):
Murray ends up getting hurt.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
I think if you want to be critical about Steve Kaime,
you'd be critical about the lack of investment in the
offensive line. They really didn't draft many offensive linemen over
his time there, and I think when you look at
what's going to happen tomorrow night, you're gonna see it
run on offensive lineman, especially the top tier guys, and
also by teams that have a quarterback. That was not
(07:32):
how Steve Kaim operated during his time as general manager
of Arizona Cardinals. They went a different route with how
they went about trying to supply them with talent and
ability of the players you know that they needed. So
maybe that's one point to be critical. But look, Steve
Kahme wasn't being critical of Nick Bosa. I mean he
really wasn't. He's just making the point that a quarterback
(07:54):
can help change the course of your franchise faster than
anyone else. I'll give you another example. Twenty seventeen. Who
was the first overall pick in that draft?
Speaker 5 (08:06):
Oh gee, why am I blanking on this? Chase Stragski
went to and number one was.
Speaker 6 (08:13):
How about this?
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Who Miles Garrett?
Speaker 6 (08:15):
Miles Garrett? What was the record of the Browns in
two and seventeen?
Speaker 4 (08:19):
He wasn't good?
Speaker 6 (08:20):
Were they two winsh and sixteen?
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Oh? Jesus?
Speaker 6 (08:24):
Who was the first overall pick in twenty eighteen?
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Twenty eighteen?
Speaker 7 (08:29):
God?
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Who that would be? Baker Mayfield?
Speaker 6 (08:33):
Okay, what was the record of the Browns in twenty eighteen?
Speaker 4 (08:36):
It wasn't good?
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Were they seven wins? Six wins?
Speaker 6 (08:39):
Seven? Eight and one? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (08:41):
Then it was so a little bit decent after that, right,
they had a decent year.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Well, yeah, then it started to build. But it kind
of proved Steve Kimes point right, right.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
He would have lost his job over that two year pero. Well,
not so much that.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
It's the point that a quarterback's going to come in
and make the greatest impact right away on your team
to help you. And that's what Kyler Murray did and
helping to build that franchise up again to be a
playoff team in year three and that's when they all
got extensions. Extensions Kyler did, Steve Kaim did, obviously.
Speaker 6 (09:12):
Cliff Kingsbury did.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
I kind of look at Michael Bidwell pulling the plug
on all that as premature, and it was a poor
decision in two ways. Either you shouldn't you should have
never given them all extension in the first place, or
you should have given them another year to see this
thing through, make some changes and try to get back
on course of where they were and take into account
(09:34):
all the issues that team faced from injuries up front
on the offensive line, maybe some of the mistakes they made,
and not doing more to protect Kyler Murray, you know,
not having your best player for six games, figuring out
how to get an edge rusher to help get you
more pressure, you know, all those things. So one way
or another, you know, Michael Bidwell, it made either a
mistake and giving the extension or a mistake in not
(09:55):
allowing them to see that.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
Through once you did give them the extension.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
But the points still stand, Like you can use other
teams like the Browns as an example of that. You know,
Miles Garrett, who's arguably one of the best edge rushers right,
I think you'd put him up there as top three
in the league. It still doesn't have as much of
an impact as a quarterback who Baker Mayfield was almost
a five hundred quarterback on a team that was a
no win team the year before.
Speaker 5 (10:19):
And also I think that history is going to be
a lot kinder to Steve Khime and to Cliff Kingsburray
and maybe even Kyler Murray, because the more stuff that
comes out of Arizona, the more you realize that's kind
of a fiasco going on there with Bidwells the owner
and all the other reports that are coming out from
the front office.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Interesting.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
So, and to your point on drafting high in the draft,
Like the one thing that I always think about John
Elway outside of Peyton Manning, he always gets criticized for
his inability to identify the quarterback position and make the
change and the brock Osweiler experiment and all the Packston
Lynch like everybody criticizes him for that, never mind the
(10:57):
fact that he drafted von Miller. Like von Miller, who's
a first ballot Hall of Famer, was the MVP of
the Super Bowl day won while John Elway was an
exec there in Denver. But because of the quarterback position
and him not being able to draft the right guy,
people still focus on that and completely forget that Von
Miller was his first ever pick there.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
So I think that that's a tack for John, this
for that, this one for.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
I think it's attached to him because he was such
a legendary quarterback though, you know, and like everyone assumes that, oh,
you should be able to figure this out. You know,
you're a Hall of Famer, you're one of the greatest ever,
and it's like, well, it's not that easy. And you know,
you don't always have everything set up and the right
situation and circumstance to allow some of the guys to
(11:45):
be successful. Like not everyone's John Elway walking into the NFL.
Some guys need to have the right situation in circumstance
in order to succeed. In fact, I would I would
venture to say ninety five percent.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
I'd say that's a high percentage of players need that.
That's a high percentage. I mean, honest development. And that's
not just like the NFL.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
That's like business, that's everywhere, you know, like we're not
all that different, Like our DNA is all the same,
and like our the way we think the things we do,
like how many times we said things that probably someone
else had said somewhere else, but we have a platform
where maybe it gets picked up or carried more or
maybe we do a we have a different spin or
(12:26):
a better story that helps people relate to it, so
they hear what we're.
Speaker 6 (12:29):
Saying, but they don't hear what someone else is saying.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Like it happens all the time. People come up with
an invention to guess someone else had that first Guess what.
They couldn't figure out how to get it to market.
They couldn't figure out how to get into Walmart stores
and then be uber successful and move on with it.
Speaker 6 (12:42):
Sometimes it's just being lucky or unlucky.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
I mean, there's so much stuff to it, And obviously
a lot played into Steve Khime not working out in Arizona.
I'll go I'll go this far and saying this, I
obviously didn't like the fact that they drafted Josh Rose
and ten overall and then just moved on after a year,
not only to him, but also Kevin.
Speaker 6 (13:00):
I thought he got a raw deal there.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Steve Wilkes or Steve el excuse me.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
But if you look at like the fact that they
had a plan, they went with the plan. It was
working for three years until things kind of started to teeter.
It takes at a lot of you know, confidence and
really I mean a lot of balls to do what
he did. Yeah, to be able to then go with
the number one overall pick, go right back to the
draft and bring in a coach that's a head coach
(13:26):
that you feel like is better suited.
Speaker 6 (13:28):
For him to be able to succeed. And it was
working until this past year when everything got derailed.
Speaker 7 (13:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (13:33):
Well, I'll tell you this, Steve Kime. Now he's part
of the family and he's going to be part of
the family, and he's doing me sitting side by side
next to LeVar Arrington, and you probably ask him, why
is that. Well, because it's Draft Night Live on Fox

a Fox College Football analyst and reportedly not doing this
(15:16):
interview from his home studio because he is at the

In a Michael Cage jersey, helping the Clippers clear out

Oh nice from.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
The Michael Cage last year, Bo Kimble today? All right,
what happened?
Speaker 6 (15:42):
Petros?
Speaker 5 (15:44):
Yeah? Fig in the other studio, we're trying a lot
of moving parts. What do you think Don Martin would
say about this?
Speaker 8 (15:52):
Well, look, I'm not doing invitations. The first of all,
my internet is down and I tried to like coerce
my wife out of bed last night to fix it
because I can't, but she would not get out of bed.
And yet you have to do.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Is unplug and plug it back up.
Speaker 8 (16:11):
Well, I don't know where the plug is, Okay, So
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
That's an easy one. You just reset the box and
then it just just does not.
Speaker 8 (16:21):
Nowhere where it is. So we're doing this. We could
talk about that for the next fifteen minutes. You know,
I was, I was on a hold on your new
studio and I'm like on the phone, and you know, look,
I really like doing this show. I do. I enjoy it. Whatever.
I'm on hold your engineer. And I don't think it's Lee.
(16:47):
Lee's your producer, but your engineer screams in my like
I am tired this time of morning. I do this.
I go back to sleep for a short amount of
time that I get up and I get my kids
ready for school, and I get be rated like we
all do every time. I'm on hold this guy, and
(17:08):
today I'm on a phone. It's all it's all disregulated.
You know, you guys have a new studio. I can
hear everybody's no knows. I can hear. We've established a connection.
And still every morning.
Speaker 6 (17:27):
That's Berto Berto.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
Well, the full line's working for Ben Mallerschow.
Speaker 8 (17:31):
That's why.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
That's why I was asking, if you can hear me,
it's going.
Speaker 8 (17:34):
To push me. It's going to push me off the air.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
I want to hear Loan.
Speaker 5 (17:40):
Oh, come on, hey, you know petros Berto is the
guy that brought back pac manned irrelevancy again after thirty years.
The movie Colors is now all of a sudden popular
again because of Berto. I just want to point that out.
Some respect should be giving him.
Speaker 8 (18:01):
So sad ago that I was playing Pat Man daily
on the radio and Uh on the Korean station. I
guess just the signal wasn't big enough for Berto to hear.
Speaker 9 (18:11):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (18:12):
Is it that or Mandarin was a Korean? Or Mandarin?
What is the proper Korean anyway?
Speaker 8 (18:18):
I just it's like he lives inside my brain every morning,
at every Wednesday morning, at five am, he screams at
me and it puts me in a terrible mood for
the interview.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
He's a good person.
Speaker 8 (18:32):
Well, I'm know I'm saying I'm not judging him as
a person. I'm judging his board operating demeanor at five
in the morning with your only weekly guest.
Speaker 7 (18:43):
Well, we have we have Albert, Albert bre Come on.
Speaker 8 (18:47):
Well does he do that to bring.
Speaker 6 (18:55):
I don't know, Bru, do you do that to Albert?
Speaker 3 (18:58):
Of course.
Speaker 6 (19:00):
That's consistent. There you go. But here's here's the thing, Petros.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
In Brutos defense, Albert always has technical issues. So there
is a fair amount of like needing to check to
make sure Albert's connections are right. For whatever reason, he literally.
Speaker 8 (19:21):
You guys explained things to me like I don't work
in radio.
Speaker 6 (19:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
Well, I'm just saying we're trying to give you our perspective.
It's tough early in the mornings.
Speaker 9 (19:30):
Yes, it is le Berto alone. How about that. That's
my engineer. He's trying to show you some love, pops. Yeah,
like I've asked.
Speaker 8 (19:43):
I've asked about the screaming and it's just and I've
had to take it to the air. No one, no
one will address Don Martin and Don Martin guys is
in Italy. So you know, bona Sarah, guys, I don't care.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
About what's go.
Speaker 5 (20:03):
Hey, what do you think it sounds like when Don's
ordering something to eat in Italy?
Speaker 3 (20:07):
What do you think it sounds like?
Speaker 8 (20:08):
Guys? I want one of those j style kind of
deep dish pieces. Y'all making those out here? So it's
a BJ say bring some orange chicken on the side.
Gone down to four minutes.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
Petros I gotta ask you what the draft coming up
tomorrow night?
Speaker 6 (20:31):
Do you have a favorite draft memory?
Speaker 1 (20:34):
You know, like, uh, is there anything that comes to
mind where you just were like in awe of this
or it made you laugh or you just think you
think to yourself, like I can't believe, Like the gas
mask to me might be one of the crazier things
that probably ever came relevant on to draft day. About
Laramie Tons. I mean it hurt us, I guess stock
a little bit. But is there anything that you just
(20:55):
look back on and go, yeah, that was kind of nuts.
Speaker 8 (20:58):
Well, I mean I written remember everybody's draft. I mean
I remember when you got drafted and LeVar and everybody.
Speaker 6 (21:08):
Was that Jonas, Yeah, that was me.
Speaker 8 (21:11):
Look, I tried to get you drafted a long time
before you got drafted. You know, by the time, by
the time we promote speaking of our boss, by the
time we promote the guys that have been working hard
to get like real jobs, they're gray and old. Like
I think Jonas is twenty, he's like fifty years old.
(21:37):
So I remember a lot of you know, I remember
most of all when Keishawn when I first got to
USC Tyshawn Johnson, who is still around it in the media,
he went number one right to the Jets and he
(22:00):
threw a party. Now imagine it's nineteen ninety six, Keyshawn
Johnson gets drafted number one. He throws a party at
the House of Blues in on Sunset, which was you know,
a top shelf at that point, and Coolio played, Oh nice,
(22:25):
I mean, come on, I mean that's like, that's like
the King's Coronation in England, Like that's a once in
a lifetime event, you know for those like if you're
seventeen years old, eighteen nineteen, you know, everybody's throwing up
in limousines and barfing all over the It was really
(22:45):
amateur night for a college football team, you know at
key Shots Agent. But I remember that as being you know,
as far as like what's happened, you know on air.
Over the years, I don't know, the NFL has succeeded
in making it a pretty big event. I don't think
it's as big of an event as it was before.
(23:09):
But I just I never understood the fanfare for an
event that is not an actual competition, right, Like.
Speaker 6 (23:21):
It's crazy.
Speaker 8 (23:22):
Yeah, well, they've done a great job, you know. I
mean all of these sports leagues have tried really hard
to market themselves and make off season news. The NBA
does it with the free agency. I mean, I remember
the NBA was taking a victory lap because they hijacked
(23:43):
the media cycle when Mark Cuban and Doc Rivers were
chasing the unrejord.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Remember that, Yeah, it was great.
Speaker 8 (23:51):
You know, stuff like that has really helped these leagues
in the off season and and helped get there. You know,
the the NBA off season is almost more interesting to
some people than the actual games, you know, just the
movement of the players. So there's become a big market
for that sports wise, as we all know. But why
(24:12):
and does it interest me? You know, how these guys
go about their business and the hope springing eternal of
we're bringing in this one college player. I don't I
don't really get it, but I guess the amazing thing
to me is just the fanfare surrounding this moving kind
of circus every year that we do by petros.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
Have you been able to identify the location of the
RAMS war room with Sean mcvape and a less needing company?
Where's that going to take place? Is it in Malibu again?
Or we going all the way to San Pedro? What
are we looking at here?
Speaker 8 (24:49):
Well, when the RAMS draft house comes to San Pedro,
that's when I start wearing the Fibonacci shirt, you know,
going full Paul McVeigh FM. Pick all that. Gosh, you know,
one of these the Rams have been trying to like
cultivate this. We're in LA and this is how LA
(25:10):
people do it. They've been doing that for a long
time and or since they've been here and has it
ever worked? Has anything they've ever done with Rebel Wilson?
Or Yeah? I mean is it funny? Is any of
it cool? I mean, honestly, they've spent like millions and
(25:32):
millions of dollars on all this bs in the first
draft house in Malibu, lesneed got COVID remember that. Yeah,
last year they did the whole thing with the Rams
house or the Hollywood Hills with the real estate agent BSh.
(25:52):
That didn't work. Now they're trying to act like, look,
we're serious, we really know how to handle our business.
You know, we were going back to the drawing board
and we put a camera behind this to look at
let's me drawing up on it. It's so stupid. I mean,
do the Rams know how to operate as an organization?
(26:14):
It feels like it right football wise, I mean, they
won a Super Bowl. It's not like they feel the
team with the Jonas brothers in the backfield. But it's
amazing to me the way they try to hack, like,
you know, we're in LA and this is how you're
supposed to do it in LA. You're supposed to hire
a bunch of celebrity ambassadors that really don't resonate with
(26:37):
football fans and making a charade of ignorance. That's what
they do every year. I don't know what they're where
they are this year. I'm assuming you know the natural
progression of things. They've been in Malibu, They've they've been
in the Hollywood Hills. I would say they're either going
to the cock Pancock Park or or be headed to
(27:03):
like Colin Cowhard's area, like Santa Monica above Montana. They're
not coming to palat Verdi's.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
Not up on the hill.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
Why not nice?
Speaker 6 (27:19):
They don't want those majestic views.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
It's so nice up there. Anyway, can I can I
ask you like your takeaway on Colorado spring games like
as you did. I mean, what's.
Speaker 8 (27:37):
Look over the window LeVar in that brand new studio.
Is Berto wearing a big cowboy hat and the prime jacket.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
I'm out of town, I'm in. I'm I'm remote, but
I would assume.
Speaker 6 (27:50):
He isn't I wash.
Speaker 8 (27:53):
Look, I mean, you guys know how a football team
is built just as well or maybe better than I do.
And we all know that the transfer portal in the
new era of college football is what it is, But
to me, it seems like a football program is not
a house that you can just gut in one offseason
(28:17):
and put all new furniture in and go live in it.
That's a pretty tall order. The amount of guys that
have turned over there is disturbing, and you know, they
don't want to lose all of them, and that's also disturbing.
And the outfit of the spring game was kind of disturbing.
But you know, I don't know what's going to happen.
(28:40):
I don't think they're going to be very good. And
he might he might be going a little too hard
with the hey buddy, you're getting cut today and all
this stuff that we're reading today. But we'll see. I mean, look,
Colorado handed him the keys, and now he's going to
be able to drive any kind of style he wants
(29:00):
for quite some time. And look, they won one game
last year and they've been a terrible program for a
long time. So there's a lot of arguments going on.
And there's also gonna be a lot of arguments LeVar
about how do you treat players and how do you
talk to players and all this stuff, And they'll be
scrutiny with Dion and then people will say, well, what
about Saban and Kirby Smart? You know, how do they
(29:22):
do it? And maybe you're talking about Dion because he's
not one of those guys and he's flashy and he's
himself and I don't know, I don't know. I don't
like what I'm seeing over there. I really don't. That
much turnover is disturbing to me. I understand flipping a roster,
(29:42):
but to me, it's like it's a lot more interesting
and it's a new era and we're all learning, but
it's a lot more interesting when a guy like Bob
Stoops comes into Oklahoma at the turn of the century, right,
and he flipped the roster in a different way. He
moved guys that were playing offense to defense. He moved
(30:04):
defensive guys to offense.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
That I was just going to say, isn't that The
sign of a good coach is when you take what
you have and you developed them and you're you move
them around and you can make them better. I mean,
this is I don't want to say, like the easy
way out of trying to build back up you know, Colorado,
But it kind of strikes me as more of isn't
(30:27):
isn't that more of what a great coach does.
Speaker 6 (30:30):
He takes something and says.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Hey, yeah, And if it feels like he's running away
from doing that, he's looking for a fast solution, which
usually never works out in the long run.
Speaker 6 (30:40):
Although I'm sure Joel Klatt will try to defend all
of what.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Prime's doing, given how intricately involved he wasn't getting him
there in the first place.
Speaker 8 (30:49):
Well, Joe will go very professorial on all of us
if we if we, if we rose, if any concerns
were raised, Joel will go will go the opposite direction
and over explain it, and you'd be so tired of
hearing about it, you'll just be like, you're right, he's great.
(31:12):
I think Brady that most of us that have been
around football for a long time know that there. You know,
player development is the best mark of a great program
and sticking with players and creating you know, having a
guy come in and maybe he's not great when he's eighteen,
(31:32):
but when he's nineteen twenty, he's twenty one years old,
he's a great player for you. That is not lost
on most football coaches. I think even today in the
modern era. It's not the only way to do things.
You most everybody probably would have success doing a little
bit of both. But when you see the opposite, like
(31:53):
you said, all of these guys are crap. We are
he yarn't a pulping them out of a boulder or
and you know some of the guys that are good.
See how some of these guys are treated and they
don't want to hang around. And I think that's what
happened with the receiver from Inglewood and maybe the running
back from last year guys that they do need. I mean,
(32:15):
you can't. You can't just bring in all new people
and say all right, here's your college, here's what we do,
and here let's r It's going to be really interesting
to see how it plays out. And you're right, Joel's
going to be able to explain it to all of us.
Speaker 5 (32:31):
Get him on Twitter at the old p Petro's papadagainst
the Money show.
Speaker 8 (32:37):
You tell Berno, he's doing a great job. And if
he doesn't scream at me in the morning, then I
just don't know what to do.
Speaker 5 (32:43):
I couldn't even do the here damn right, a little
bit of love here from Petros.
Speaker 6 (32:47):
That was full circle there?
Speaker 5 (32:49):
Hey, yeah, Petros, we appreciate it. We'll do it again
next week.
Speaker 8 (32:52):
I have to be able to vent my frustrations, especially
if my machine doesn't work. And LeVar, you can come
over here and flip the switch.
Speaker 10 (33:00):
I got you, Hey, Yeah, gotch literally and forverbial Lonco,
I am a switch flipper, my guys, right, yes, Yes,
that's Midday was talking about.
Speaker 3 (33:13):

Let's go to the news desk. No, here's Brady Quick.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
Yeah. Well, you know we're starting to get to that
time of the year where there's some elections going on.
Speaker 6 (35:28):
This one's pretty interesting. So a New Hampshire man has.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
Recently he's lost his right to vote because he posted
on election day a fake Craigslist ad for a free trailer,
and he did it using the legislative candidate's number, which
obviously had a bunch of people calling in which ended
up giving him these unwarranted calls. His text were jammed
(35:54):
up and the candidate's cell fun was all jacked up
for it. So he's charged with a misdemeanor, this New
Hampshire man for doing this. But it caused obviously a
little bit of chaos in regards to one one state election.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
I mean, you just can't like have fun anymore nowadays,
can yo?
Speaker 6 (36:13):
Like you can't? Election interference is kind of a big deal.
I just think the way you went about doing it
was pretty creative.
Speaker 5 (36:21):
You guys, never have your buddies put your number in
an ad on Craigslist or something like that.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
Dude, I sign up my buddies for magazine subscriptions all
the time, and like obviously like not ones that you.
Speaker 6 (36:33):
Want to be coming to your house.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
That's funny.
Speaker 6 (36:36):
Yeah, all the time.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Like there's cell phone numbers for different callbacks for surveys
all the time.
Speaker 6 (36:43):
It's a running joke that we have going on.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
Oh wow, yeah, I got it.
Speaker 5 (36:47):
I was getting calls back in the day. People were like, yeah,
is that Nintendo we still for sale? I'm like, what, Like,
I've never had a I didn't get And it just
kept happening over and over again, and I found that
there were two of my buddies who were just making
up stuff and posting ads online on Craigslist and just
adding their friends numbers.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Okay, well it doesn't seem like it's legal, but apparently
that was the thing back in the day.
Speaker 4 (37:10):
Yeah, well that's nice.
Speaker 7 (37:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
Well, everyone's in the business of launching rockets these days.
Sweden recently launched a research rocket, although it accidentally hit
Norway had a few issues once it got up to
zero gravity and well, unfortunately ended.
Speaker 6 (37:29):
Up pulling right towards Norway. Yeah, I mean, yeah, that
happens sometimes.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
Yeah, I'm a little concerned that this may happen a
little more often as more people try to join SpaceX
and the success that Elon Musk has had just constantly
launching things in outer space. As other countries try to
catch up, there may be some air along the way.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
Because now it's like, well, if he can do it,
I can do it too.
Speaker 8 (37:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (37:54):
Think you know, I'm like, hello, a lot of people
heard our show and said, oh, well, you know, if
they can do it, we should start a podcast and
everybody can.
Speaker 6 (38:02):
Do I can do better.
Speaker 8 (38:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (38:03):
Stick to Swedish fish, right, I mean, let's.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
Talk, by the way, where do those stack on the
all time gummy candy?
Speaker 4 (38:11):
They're really good fish, you think, Yeah, they're really good man.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
I mean I'm under a category of fish. Like if
someone was to ask you, like, what what's your favorite
type of fish? Do you include Swedish fish?
Speaker 4 (38:22):
That's a great point. I mean, I mean I'm gonna
take frat fish. Grouper is good.
Speaker 7 (38:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (38:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
A mahi mahi guy, Lately, I love mahi mahi.
Speaker 6 (38:34):
It's good, so good.
Speaker 7 (38:37):
Yeah, how do we even get a subject?
Speaker 4 (38:40):
I don't know. You were talking about Swedish fish, A
sweetish rocket. Let us hear, Yeah, Swedish rocket that hit Norway.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
Yeah, racist to this story.
Speaker 6 (38:49):
It's probably not appropriate though it hit Iceland.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
